Lula is a specialist in gender relations and anti-patriarchal systems change. She is a passionate advocate for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and childhood and adult domestic violence. Combining lived experience and professional expertise in strategic policy and gender mainstreaming, Lula dedicates her efforts to systemic and cultural change that prevents and reduces male violence against women and children.

Lula is co-author of An Australian Framework for the ethical co-production of research and evaluation with victim-survivors of domestic, family, and sexual violence, and Who uses domestic, family, and sexual violence, how, and why? The State of Knowledge Report on Violence Perpetration (2023).
