Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's been one of the greatest times I've had in
my many years of podcasting, sitting down and sharing conversations
with those that have appeared on NBC's The Voice. But
to find them, where are they? Well, they're now all
in one location ero dot net, Arrooe dot net. Look
for the podcast that Voice Missed Opportunity. I love sharing conversations,
(00:22):
now hosting them requires some show prep. My podcasting platforms
feature thousands of guests, and what you don't have access
to are my missed opportunities. I mean, the show prep
was one hundred percent completed, the conversation did not happen.
I keep all of my notes because I believe the
paths will one day cross again, and it has happened
four different times. Let me explain missed opportunity. It's my

questions and statements without their answers. I leave open enough
space at the end of every question, hoping they'll download
the talk and insert their answers. Missed opportunity is a
lost piece of history. It's like a message in a
bottle that's been tossed out to see it's time to
locate the destination. This week, our focus is put on
(01:07):
my missed opportunity with actress Julianna Nicholson from NBC's Law
and Order Criminal Intent. Now, this wasn't her only creative
project at the time. In November of twenty seventeen, she
was working on two other productions with Dick Wolf, one
of them being true crime The Mendez Murders, which I'm
sure you've seen by now. The eight part series was
(01:29):
the reason why we were invited to share a conversation
with Juliana. Plus, she was starring in a new movie
theater title Novitiate. The movie is a portrait of a
street Roman Catholic convent at the time of the Vatican
Two Reforms in the mid nineteen sixties. This wasn't her
only film in chapters past. She's appeared in movies with
James Franco in Tully, Staten Island with Ethan Hawk, and
(01:53):
Little Black Book with Nick Hurran. The invitation to share
a conversation with Julianna Nicholson a I've on November fourteenth,
twenty seventeen. We would share the microphone two days later
a twenty minute talk starting at ten twenty am Eastern.
This was three years before Zoom, so we were using
(02:14):
phone numbers and what the hell was skype? Thirty four
hours later, word came that the conversation had been canceled.
There wouldn't be one, but I did get a footnote
at the end of the email. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hey,
Coming up next all of my questions and statements for
actress Julianna Nicholson. Hey, thanks for coming back to missed Opportunity.
