I did the teaching here tonight though, and this is
going to be a little bit of a fun one
to kick off here, because I'm going to start in
the scriptures here in One Corinthians chapter twelve. This will
be the theme passage for our series, and this year
we're going to be covering all of the gifts of
the Spirit. Now, last year we did the fruits. If

(00:38):
you did not see the Fruits of the Spirit, you
should definitely go back and check those out. It was
an amazing series and it really blessed me. I learned
so much in the process. But now we're going to
be going into the gifts. Now. With the gifts specifically,
we are going to focus on healing tonight. But before
we do that, let's talk about what the gifts are
for those that don't know. Now. One Corintiance chapter twelve,

(01:01):
verse four says, there are different kinds of spiritual gifts,
but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
There are different kinds of service, but we serve the
same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is
the same God who does all of the work in us. Now,
a spiritual gift is given so that we can help
each other to one person. The spirit gives the ability

(01:22):
to give wise advice. Another the same spirit gives a
message of special knowledge. The same spirit gives great faith
to another, and to someone else. One spirit gives the
gift of healing. He gives one person the power to
perform miracles, another the ability to prophesy, and he gives
someone else's ability to discern whether a message is from

(01:45):
the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still, another
person has given the ability to speak in the unknown languages,
while another is given the ability to interpret what is
being said. It is the one and only Spirit who
distributes all of these gifts, and he alone decides which
gift each person should have. Now, in this series, we're
going to be covering some different things and covering different

(02:10):
aspects of the Holy Spirit. But one thing you need
to understand about the Holy Spirit is that he was
there at the beginning. The Holy Spirit is God. I
don't want to say he was God because he always
is God, but he is God, was, God, is God,
will always be God is forever God, the God, the Father, God,
the Son God, the Holy Spirit like he is God.

(02:33):
He's not a subcategory of God. He's not a side
antidote of God. He's not like, oh, God's the Father,
and then there's Jesus, and then we got the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not slaying in the spirit. The
Holy Spirit is not goosebumps. The Holy Spirit is not gifts.
The Holy Spirit is not fruit. The Holy Spirit is

(02:56):
not getting dancing in the service. And the Holy Spirit
it is not all of the little things that you
feel from heat and electricity and feeling really cold and
feeling really hot and then falling over and shaking and
laughing and whatever manifestations you have seen of the Holy Spirit.

(03:16):
Most of us and our services these days, especially in
the States, we like to treat the Holy Spirit almost
like our pet dog, and that's just the reality of it.
We say for him to come over here when we
feel like it. And if we're in a Pentecostal Holy
Spirit church, we might have that part of the service

(03:37):
where the song goes a little bit long and then
they don't have words for a minute, and we call
that that's the part where the Holy Spirit moves, or
we have that part in the music where it gets
a little quiet. This is the moment where the Holy
Spirit can do what he wants. And because in the
program you know you don't fit anywhere else, and we
don't want to do anything over and above and beyond
because we don't want to scare the visitors and we
don't want to get you. Know. This is how we

(03:59):
treat the Holy sp But what we have to realize
is the Holy Spirit is the mighty hurricane from Heaven,
and without him we have nothing and are nothing but
an empty shell of this body that we take up space.
We have to understand that the Holy Spirit is God.
And to make it even more clear, even though God

(04:20):
is everwhere, once through the Holy Spirit. God, the Father's
up there on the thro own. Jesus is at his
right hand, But where's the Holy Spirit? Friends? The Holy
Spirit is here right now with us. He's here in
this studio room with me and with Joshua. He's right
there in your room. He's over as we were talking
about earlier with the ten Eskimos that are in Antarctica,

(04:41):
and he's over in Australia. He's in the underground church
of China. He's over and above and beyond and in
and out and through every single part of this entire world.
And he's the general of the Spirit realm. And we
need to bow to his mighty will. And what is
his mission? Friends? He wants to promote and lift up

(05:04):
Jesus in our hearts so that we see that Jesus
is the Way, the truth, and the life. And this
is what's so beautiful is Jesus comes to this earth
and the Father says, look at my son. Listen to him,
look at my son, and who I'm well pleased. Jesus says,
it's better that I go, because then the Holy Spirit's

(05:26):
gonna come. How can it ever be better that Jesus
goes Like that almost sounds like blasphemy to say that,
except for that he said it himself. It's better that
I go so that the Holy Spirit can come. The
Holy Spirit comes and he says, look look at Jesus,
and that's his whole purpose. As it reveal Jesus. It
gets back to Jesus and Jesus says, look at the Father,

(05:46):
like there's this beautiful trium in relationship. Now, this Holy
Spirit that I'm talking about is going to be the
subject of this series, and we're gonna focus on an
aspect of the Spirit, the gifts. As we see in
this passage, the Holy Spirit gives gifts who gives the gifts?

(06:06):
Joshua who gives them? Man, that's the Holy Spirit. The
Holy Spirit gives them. Do I give him Joshua? No?
I mean, you do like to give gifts, but not
those I like to give gifts, but might not be
the gift of the Holy Spirit. Now, sometimes I operate
in the gift Holy Spirit. But only the Holy Spirit
gives the gifts. No. I know, Joshua is a very

(06:26):
very big gift giver. But Joshua, do you give the
gifts of the Holy Spirit? No? Man, does your pastor
give him? Nope? Does your best friend give him? Sure? Questions?
That's a weird that's a weird, weird fight be there.
He's Holy Spirit. I love about Catherine. Katherine Coleman wouldn't
say he's the Holy Spirit is my best friend. Holy
Spirit is my best friend. She she had an intimate

(06:48):
relationship with the Holy Spirit. And what we have to
understand is that he has will, desire, passion personality. Like
we have to understand, the Holy Spirit is incredible, and
he desires to give gifts, and he's the source of them,
and he gives them as he wills and distributes them.

(07:10):
Why to help people verse seven, A spiritual gift is
given to each of us so that we can help
each other. This is not complicated, but yet we get
so weirded out by all of these things. The Holy
Spirit gives the gifts because he wants to help people.

(07:32):
It's not like it almost sounds less spiritual than how
we make it, but it's more spiritual. It's not complicated.
Somebody's sick, we're talking about healing tonight. If somebody's sick,
ding ding ding ding ding, this is a chance for
the gift of the Holy Spirit to manifest to night. Now,

(07:53):
the purpose of this, the way that I'd like you
to think of these gifts is like tools in your
tool belt, you know. I way back in the day.
This was a long time ago. And God bless that
man Darryl for hiring me. He is my grandpa's best friend.
And I worked for two summers for him. I had

(08:14):
no business, I had no I needed this summer job.
I needed to make some money. I was sixteen, and Daryl,
my grandpa's best friend, said all right, well, I'll take
your grandson for the summer. And I got a tool belt.
I was going to shoot rock for the summer, and
I didn't. I ultimately made money. Man, it was a
long summer. We're out there, we're sheet rocking, and I

(08:35):
had my tool belt, and I'll say this, we were
in some very precarious situations. Well, you're balancing in the
most abnormal situations using all the brute strength as you
can to hold up these massive pieces of sheet rock
that take up an entire wall, and these weird parts
where you have to line up the hole just right,
and like you have to do these cuts and shaves

(08:57):
and all this stuff, and it's like you you're in
a very precarious spot. And if I reach down into
my tool belt and the screw gun wasn't there, and
the hammer wasn't there, and the right and the nails
weren't there, and the screws weren't there from that I
needed from my back, if I was missing anything I
needed in that moment, I would have had to get
out of that precarious situation, potentially damage the sheet rock

(09:21):
and lose these very expensive pieces of equipment because we
only use like the highest quality stuff. And like it was,
it would have been a very bad situation. It would
have cost us a lot of time, resources and energy.
But if my tool belt was well supplied. I was
ready for any in all situations that were going to come.
And really that's the purpose of how the Holy Spirit

(09:44):
wants to operate. It's to help people. And the more
He can equip you and equip your tool belt to
help anybody that's in front of you. Friends, we don't
have to fight against flesh and blood. If somebody comes
at us in this kind of playing field, you don't
have to come at him back on this playing field.

(10:04):
You come at them from a heavenly perspective. You've got superpowers,
You've got things that they don't even see or understand.
You're playing in another dimension from where they are, and
you can minister right to what they need. If they're
over here dealing with the situation and you're coming in
with the Holy Ghost with the gift of healing, you

(10:24):
can walk right into their situation and see freedom take
place in ways that you never could have imagined. Now.
I remember the first time to kind of go into
this where Joshua he received an experienced healing, this gift
of healing for the first time, and I felt like

(10:46):
through the Holy Spirit that God wanted to activate him
in a service and we were in Nicaragua. I was
doing my first international trip with Kingdom Encounters International. I
just launched away from this other ministry, and I was
launching this ministry seven years ago. And we got to
Nicaraguay and and I asked Josh to come as a photographer.

(11:10):
We had been there maybe three days. He chocked me, Yeah,
well he didn't he didn't know. He was deceitful. Yeah,
he was free. I was not qualified. You were free.
You were totally qualified. And he took advantage of me.
I didn't know what I was saying about. So we
get there and we're on like the third or fourth service,

(11:32):
and by this point, I mean it's like one hundred
degrees inside every church building. We're sweating so hot. We
did I think it was twelve services in seven days.
We're burning both ends, morning and night. We're fried. And
I get to like the third or fourth night of
this weekend. There's about one hundred people in the room,

(11:53):
and I even, oh, that was a whole other story.
I remember walking out of the service because the Lord
told me to walk outside right at that specific moment,
and he's this like what look like a gang walks
back and they come over and I look at the
guy and I said, hey, and I have the interpreter.

(12:13):
They're like, you're in the you're the pastor, you're the evangelist.
You need to be in the church service because you're
about to speak. And I was like, no, I need
to be right here. And these people going by and
I'm like, I was like, you need to give your
life to Jesus. Your Grandma's been praying for you. And
the guy like looks at me like a like, you
don't even know who I am. It doesn't matter. Jesus
sent me all the way here to this corner of

(12:34):
the world to tell you you need to get right
with God. And two of the guys repented on the spot,
and the third one he walked away. But anyways, those
other two guys say hello you, and one of them
even came into the church services people. But anyways, that night,
Joshua like the fire God's fallen, and I'm just like
I'm feeling it, man, I feel the glory of God

(12:55):
and all of a sudden, just in my in my spirit,
I sense that God wants to activate Joshua in healing.
And so I didn't feel that, oh well, he didn't
know he was only feel any bit of it, didn't
feel that from the Lord. But the Holy Spirit prompted

(13:15):
my heart. And I was tired, so I worked out perfectly.
But the Holy Spirit prompted my heart and I said,
are you ready to receive a miracle? Are you ready
to receive healing from God? And they're all screaming, yeah,
they're crazy. They were all lit up. Man. I always

(13:38):
feel a shot out about it was set. Oh yeah, man,
I was. I was definitely sweating and hopping. And I said,
I said, if you're ready for a miracle, yeah, I said, great,
my friend Joshua is going to pray for you and
you're all going to be healed. And I walked away

(14:01):
and I gotta hand the mike to Joshua and he
wouldn't take it. What did you do, Joshua? I said
some unkind things in my heart about my friend. And
I walked over to him shaking and turned and looked
back at the crowd kind of kind of waved at them,
and then looked at my buddy and was like, hey, man,

(14:23):
what you're doing. And Caleb is wiping his face with
his sweat rag that he'd been shaking around and He's like, yeah, man,
I'm I'm exhausted. Man, I'm so tired. I gotta go
sit down. Like that's not gonna work for me. Dude,
that's not gonna I'm you you you told me to
come and take pictures. I'm taking pictures, sir. And he said, dude,

(14:51):
all you need to do is ask God, and God
will I'm tired. I'm gonna go sit down and don't
be a handsy pray with some authority, and then he
walks off. Which side note, we have been told more
often than that we should make that our next T shirt.
And if you really want that cansy praise with something

(15:12):
it's not politically correct, but hey, you can put it
in the comments. If you want that T shirt, maybe
we'll do like a limited supplierunners is there is there
a big political outcry for pansy. It's the word pansy
something don't be it's literally a flower. It's like, don't
be a tulip. All right, I'm gonna let it go here.
I'm gonna get myself in trouble. I don't want to

(15:36):
be in trouble. You're gonna leave it alone, all right.
So anyway, after my friend walks off and leaves me there,
and I am I just have my birthday like two
days prior to that, and I have never, at may
thirty years of life, never prayed for a human being
and seen a miracle happen. I was not happy and terrified.

(16:00):
I'm standing there in front of about one hundred people
by myself with a microphone in my hand, and they're
all looking at me like he said that if you pray,
we're getting healed. So pray, so scared. And this is
a really good just side note to this story because
josh is gonna get to the punch line here. But

(16:21):
it's as the Holy Spirit wills it. Joshua didn't even will,
No josh little will. Joshua might have even requested it.
And another time of his life in a secret place
that he forgot about or used me in healing something. Yeah,
but he was being confronted on that day there. That
was not the day I hadn't talked about. And so

(16:47):
so I prayed with all the authority and strength and
courage I can muster, and as much as faith as
there there there was in hopefully there was a mustard
seeds word, and there obviously was sixty people out of
that hundred got healed of different things going on, from

(17:09):
just a hurt like a sword neck, to to like
severe arthritis, to to things in their bladder and things
that like the skin conditions, anything and everything got healed.
I didn't lay my hands on any one of them.
It was just by the spoken word and and and
the Lord wanted to move, The Holy Spirit was ready

(17:30):
to move. These people had faith to receive it, and
they received the touch, the power, feelings of the Lord. Yeah,
when you when you have to lean on that be
at the end of that word se That's that's what happened, man.
And it was incredible and and it ruined me. I

(17:52):
was I was no longer okay to be normal, nore no.
The next night. This is again I'm telling this because
number one is you should all go on a mission trip.
Absolutely going to Brazil, FYI and May and we do
have thirty two thirty three people signed up and they're
actually I think we just had our thirty third sign
up today. But anyways, that that's going to be a

(18:16):
trip of a lifetime. You should definitely join us. It's
pretty much sold out and the tickets have already been booked,
but if you pay today and you want to come,
we can probably figure we'll figure it out there. We'll
get you there. But the next day we go. This
is the only time the whole week we did this
in the twelve services. We go to the largest service
of the week, the largest pastor of this region, and

(18:39):
I preach and I feel the Holy Spirit prompt me
that we're going to lay hands on every person. Now,
mind you, Joshua, I didn't feel the Holy Spirit prompt
me then we're going to lay hands on all twelve
hundred people that night. But can I tell you what
I seen all these promptings, everybody there wanted to prayer
for blessing and wanted to handslay it on them and
wanted to receive you. Yeah, and they came out of

(19:02):
and we were there until like almost two in the morning.
The senior pastor left us. He did very soon into
the prayer times. He's like, oh, my son will take
them home. And he left. He's like, wait, we have
never laid hands on every person in the service before,
but that's what happens because we were fired up. And
guess what, person after person after person after person got

(19:25):
healed and now Joshua was laying hands on all these people.
Oh yeah, there's just healing after healing after that was
a seasoned professional at. He'd been doing this a whole
twenty four hours by that. Yeah, bro, if he take
the end of the last service to the beginning of
the next, like he was like super superstar and and
with that said, like God met him. Yeah until well

(19:49):
that's another strat. I just don't know how many how
much time we have, josh The point is, josh josh
did a great job and by the end of that week,
that'd be a funny story, but we really don't have that. No, Okay,
by the end of that week, Joshua had been used
to see hundreds of people get healed. And I'm using

(20:12):
Joshua as the example here because this was his activation
moment where the Holy Spirit willed it. But he put
himself in an uncomfortable situation. He was there and God
was ready to use him. He was willing, however, God
wanted to use him, and when the time came, he
wasn't willing, and God still used him anyway. That's really

(20:32):
he really weren't willing in that moment. It was a
really really that was a very reluctant obedience. But like
all of you, everyone's like, well, that was in Nicaragua.
That was overseas. You know, that wasn't some other place.
It doesn't work in America. His healings only happened in
other places. And so literally, as Joshua's questioning and pondering

(20:53):
these things in his heart, he comes home. It's like, okay, God,
I don't know what is up in there. I went
from going to help out my best friend take some photos,
and then I see sixty people get held the first
time I pray through a spoken word, and then I

(21:13):
lay hands on people the next night, and dozens of
people are getting kealed, like legs growing out, all kinds
of crazy stuff. And then he goes home. He's like, Okay,
my friend just started this ministry. I just got wrecked.
What am I doing here? And he goes into this

(21:35):
church service and he's like, God, like does this work
in America? He's like questioning it. And in that moment,
and what happened, Man, he had an opportunity. I yeah,
I just I begged him. I said, I said, Lord,
if you're going to show up and show up and
and I want to see it here in Omaha, Nebraska,

(21:55):
and he said, old thing, to go outside to the foyer.
I went outside to the foyer. A few minutes later,
this lady comes running down. She said, Hey, we got
somebody that just showed up and she has a blood
disease and she's upstairs just to getting prayed for. Can
you pray for her for healing? And I was like, wow, Lord,
that was fast. So I ran upstairs with them and
ended up getting called out and sat down with her.

(22:16):
I prayed for her. She got healed. But before that,
I also I started which this is a different, different
session we'll talk about, but I got words and knowledge
about her, and I was able to speak to what's
what was going on in her life. I mean, I
knew that she was hurting herself. I knew there were
some other things going on in her life, and that
she she blamed herself because of what type of sickness

(22:38):
and how she got it. And the Lord just wanted
to shower his love on her. And she was healed.
She was completely healed. It was wild, and so then
I was ruined again. I was like, well, now it
doesn't work just in Nicaragua. It works right here in
the United States. And then a few days later he
goes to work and he's at this homeless shelter in

(23:01):
one of his staff members that comes from a different
a different background, of a different Christian religion, that doesn't
believe in healing. It doesn't believe the gifts are for today,
that doesn't believe the Holy Spirit does things today that
was for another time, in another season. He goes into
this kitchen with this with this friend, a friend he

(23:21):
sees every day. Yep, and now he's seen what God
just did there Nicaragua, that lady, and now he walks
into this place is like, dude, I'm ruined. Now. He
just tells the guy with the shoulder injury. Yeah, guy
tore his shoulder playing dodgeball with his youth group and
he has to carry trays. He was the head chef.
He's carrying these big traces and he couldn't do it.

(23:43):
I said, well, hey man, let's just pray for your
arm to be healed right now. And he's like ah,
And his church preaches actively against healing like that, that
doesn't happen, that the Holy Spirit doesn't move that way anymore.
And he's like well, I was like, well, can it
hurt right? He said sure, and his shoulder got immediately healed.

(24:07):
He freaked out. He started running around telling everybody in
the kitchen that he's like, guys, my shoulder's been healed.
Like he was in a sling and everything. They tore
his rotator cup tour and it was wild and he's like, well,
now what do I do with that? I was like,
read your Bible and believe those parts too, and and
then it just kept going. It just kept going. Man

(24:28):
Like testimony after testimony in the US oversees all that stuff.
I just started seeing that in a as part of
my life. And and it was all thanks to my
my really good friend who who doesn't doesn't like ask
you and encourage you. He throws you out of the
boat and says, Jesus is there. He can walk and

(24:48):
said it'll be fine, It'll be fine. He can just
walk on the water, no big deal. And and uh
and Caleb operates mightily in this too. And and he
he just believes that if you're around, you're going to
operate in it too. Oh, that's some of the stuff
that we see and I share. I wanted Josh to

(25:08):
be here tonight because he walks in this in such
a powerful way. But his story of how he got activated,
it's just there's so many examples within it where maybe
you see yourself in it. Well, it only works overseas well,
God could never use me. Well, God only does it
a certain way, or it only works the people if
they believe Joshua. Joshua didn't believe it himself, like like

(25:35):
he was at a place where his friend's faith is
one way to say it. Think of the story in
the Bible where they literally the friends. It wasn't even
because the man had the faith. He gets carried up
on the mat, they dig a hole in the in
the roof, and they bring him down. And this wasn't
as quite as dynamic as that story. As these people

(25:57):
are literally digging a hole in the roof to get
their friend there. Jesus looks at him. Because of their
friends' faith, this man is able to walk, and Jesus
never would have They never even would have met or
had the opportunity if the friends didn't get them there.
So God uses all these things, and then Joshua in
his story, he he was I guarantee you, josh that

(26:20):
at least three or four dozen times in your life,
whether it would have been in high school or college,
that you prayed God used me. Oh, God, use me
any way that you want. So I want to see
people heal. So I want to see people get set free.
And now here here Joshua is in this moment where

(26:42):
he's and this is why I always recommend people get
on missions trips. Just get out of your box and
go do something and see what happens. I think of
the story of that. My six Minnesota friends, who are
all amazing, amazing men, but just super conservative back crowns.
They get down to Colombia and like, there's these demon

(27:05):
possessed people. I'm just like, guys, like, go lay hands
on them? Sorry, what type of demon possessed people? I
was trying to, you know, leave the pizza the g
version here, But like you told, you told these these
very conservative Minnesotan men to go lay hands and test
demons out of what type of out of the prostitutes

(27:25):
of the process. They're like, I'm pretty sure we're not
allowed to look at them, let alonely hands on them.
But they all got away again another push them out
of the boat. But with that said, it's as the
Holy Spirit wills it. This is what's beautiful about just

(27:45):
this example tonight as I'm as I'm using it, Joshua
was having prayers answered from years before that he prayed
that he forgot to even pray, but he said seeds
at other times in his life. Guess what those sixty
people needed help, Those sixty people that got healed in

(28:06):
that service, they desperately needed help. Yeah, what does the
Holy Spirit want to do? He gives the gifts to
help people. Don't over complicate this. If you're counseling with somebody,
we're gonna get moved into this with the other gifts

(28:27):
in other moments. But if you're counseling with somebody, it
isn't because Oh, I can show off my gift of
discerning his spirits, or I can show up my gifts
of words of knowledge, or I can show up like
I'll look at my intercession gift, or I have a gift.
I'm just perceived, I'm knew like. It ain't a bounce you.
It's about the fact that the Holy Spirit wants to

(28:47):
help that person. Jesus performed the feeding, the miracle of
the Feeding of the five thousand, because he had compassion
on the people. The people needed to help. They were hungry,
they needed something to eat, and if they walked them
on the way, they would have passed out and it
wouldn't have made it. And Jesus had compassion on them.

(29:11):
But he's still used the offering of a little boy
who gave the fish and the loads. He used the
offering that was available and then blessed it and broke it.
He always takes what we have, even if it's a
mustard seed. I don't really know what these five loaves
and fish could do, but you can at least say
that it's all like God. I don't know if if

(29:35):
I could do anything, but I'll always go on the
mission strip and see what happened. You're in the room.
Anything can happen. Now. You know, if somebody needs something
and you open up your mouth and say, well, i've
never seen a miracle, I'd be happy to pray for you. Like,
step into a situation, put yourself somewhere where God has

(29:56):
to move or needs to move for that person, and
guess what. The Holy Spirit is going to release something.
Now I'm talking about healing. But that night Joshua had
a gift of healing activated he used me as his friend,
he used me as a minister, he used me as
somebody who offered him to come on a trip. I
was at the moment I needed help doing photography. I

(30:16):
wasn't thinking about, oh, maybe I could get josh activated
and healing. In the moment. In my mind, I'm like,
I need to help doing photography, and Joshua's gonna have
a fun time here, and I'm sure he's gonna minister
with me. That's all I was thinking, like, I wasn't
thinking in the moment in advance. Oh, on the third night,
I'm gonna activate Joshua in the gift of you. Like no,
In the moment, I felt the prompting of the spirit

and I released it and called him into it. I
gave him an opportunity to step into the mic, and
it wasn't really an opportunity. I kind of like forced
him in with attention, but as an obligation, Sir, correctly
vocab where you're looking for his obligation. But in that moment,
Joshua stood up and said okay, And since that moment

(30:58):
he hasn't stopped. That's the thing. Does he do it
every single day? Is like? No, did he walk into
his wife's high school and like set off some some
radical teenagers that got set free and healing. Yeah, as
he done it in his church? Yeah? Has he done
it overseas and literally seeing a person who is mute
begin to speak? Yep? What about the little girl that

(31:21):
could have walked? Yep? What about demon possessed people that
are startling at him? Yet demons like Joshua is walking
in this huge Now I'm using Joshua as an example
from this because I've known Joshua in my whole life.
You know, we used to sing songs in the hallways.
We know all each other's worst, worst secrets and worst failures.
And are we really all that special Joshua, No, We're

(31:45):
just two dudes that are did our best that made
a lot of mistakes on the way. But God is
willing to use us. He's not using me because I'm
evangelist Scale. He's not using Joshua because he's evangelist Joshua.
He's not like, he's not He's using us spite of
those type of things. And maybe maybe other people didn't
sign up and so he called us. I don't know.

(32:07):
But but with that said, he does it to help
the people. Those sixty people needed help. And the key
is for you to position your heart in such a
way where God, if you could use me in any
type of way. I know that you can use me,
but I'm available. Come on, and that person needs a

(32:28):
healing or you would you meet my act of faith
that when I go and offer to pray for this person,
that you'll meet me. And friends, I'm pretty sure that
ninety nine point nine percent of the time the Holy
Spirit is going to will that gift to you because

(32:50):
he's trying to do something in somebody else. And sometimes
you're like, well, sister so and so in the chart,
she's got the gift the prophecy, and brother so and
so he's got the gift of healing, and you know,
like that's how we think about it, and like, well,
they got it, but I don't like friends, he would
will it for you to have all nine gifts if

(33:11):
you need to be willed to have all nine gifts.
In every moment I've been used in all the different gifts,
Joshua has been using all the different gifts, some of
them more than others. Some we tend to flow in
a little more based on the nature of the ministry
we do, but in every setting, in every situation, based
on the need of people that needed help. Come on,
he met he met us as the key right there.

(33:35):
If you know anybody who needs help, you're a candidate
for a gift of the Holy Spirit. You know, does
anybody here think about this? Can you think of one
person that needs help? What if you stood in the
gap and so the Holy Spirit equip me was something supernatural?

(33:56):
And when it happens, it isn't because oh I got
the gift of healing. It's because sister's selling so needed
a miracle. And guess what, friends, These gifts, as God
starts to gift these out and will these out, are
more even so even for the unbeliever, as tools of evangelism,

(34:19):
than they are for you to wear a badge on
your shirt or something. This is to reach the lost.
You know how much easier it is to walk into
somebody that's lost and to go to them with the
gift of healing and start delivering a word of knowledge
to them. You know how easy it is to go
up to somebody who doesn't believe in God and to

(34:39):
pray for them, and all of a sudden they're healed.
And like, well, I don't believe in God, but I
just got healed, and who did it? And now all
of a sudden they believe in God. The God, in
his mercy and his grace, utilizes the gifts that he
puts inside of us, and he releases them over people
that need miracles. He always responds to compassion, and he

(35:01):
always responds to help. That's so good, man. I just
want to talk one Grinthian six nineteen. It says, don't
you realize that your body is the temple of the
Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to
you by God. You do not belong to yourself, for

(35:24):
God has bought you at a high price. When you
are when you run into somebody in need, just like
he was talking about, it's as somebody needs. It's to
help other people. You are just a vessel of the
Holy Spirit. You're a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit.
He can literally use you to do his mighty, miraculous,

(35:46):
wondrous works. I mean, the first time I started being
able to prophesy or or have a word of knowledge
about someone that I can speak it to a situation
that they never talked to anybody else about that came
about because I was just willing, just like Kilb was saying,

(36:08):
and some of us, I think, Caleb, maybe you can
speak to this. Some of us put ourselves in a
box and say, well, I'm a prophet. That's what I am.
I am a prophet to the nations, and so I
don't do I remember of this. I was at a
group with a lot of a lot of prophetic type
people and they were well. One person came in off

(36:32):
the street. It was it was this this gathering place
that you get to meet up at, and this person
started shaking and acting weird. They were dealing with a
demonic issue. And this person went, I don't do demons,
and then she took off running and she left. And
she's like, I don't deal with that, because I mean,

(36:55):
she was fine to prophesy, she was fine to interpret
dream she was fine like all that. Demons. Nope, nope,
I can't do that because she put a box around
what she thought. She was putting a box around herself.
But when you read First Corinthian six nineteen, you're putting
a box around the temple of God of the Holy Spirit.
And so I guess, can you can you speak to

(37:17):
that idea of somebody saying, well, my gift, I know
my gift, Pastor Caleb, I know my gifts, sir, and
that's you may be an evangelist. I'm not an evangelist.
That's that's not my gift. Yeah, shouldn't we desire, as
Paul says, eagerly desire the spiritual gifts, doesn't say just
to desire one officer, you know, one gift or one

(37:40):
situation Like what like if somebody needs food, Well, I
don't do homeless ministry, so hm really like wouldn't you
just either cook them something? Well, if you're not a cook,
have some cans? Like you give us some cans? Like?
Or would would you go through a drive through? Would

(38:02):
you give him some money? Like? Come on, if you
knew somebody like your next door neighbor was going to
be out for the night and be out of their
house and didn't have anywhere to go, like, would you not, hey,
come over tonight, we'll figure it out, Like I don't
I don't have a way for you to live here,
like it's not feasible to moll but like I'm not
going to leave you on the streets, Like let's figure

(38:23):
this out let me help get a plan together for
you come over for then I say the night, like
I'll order some food, like I'll take care of your kids.
We'll get whatever, like I'll get some clothes, like you
figure out a way, but I don't have to get
the hospitality past. Okay, you would help the person in
front of you, would you? That's all the gifts of

(38:43):
the spirit really are, Like, don't don't box Jesus in
inside of you. Yeah, he wants to do something for
every person. And guess what, You're the person that's standing
in front of that person that needs help. I'm not
in every circle. Josh isn't in there. Like we have
a lot of similar friends, and we have completely different

(39:04):
people that we hang out with that we don't know
in each other's lives. And I might not ever be
in that person, he might never be in mind, like,
I'm the person that God sent to that person. Josh
is the person that God sent to that person. What
about your workplace and your school and your home and
your church and the people in your lives people and
your kid's soccer teams, the people that are over on

(39:25):
the chess club parents and the cheerleader's parents, and like
what about the the AA groups, and what about the
people that are in need of assistance and financial assistance
and the bankers and the waitresses that you go to,
Like everybody has something and everybody comes across people that
only you can meet. If you start to go into

(39:45):
the stories in the Bible of healing, I mean it's endless.
I have a list here of just miracles that Jesus
himself did, listed in the Gospels, and that I mean,
I'm not saying this as a conclusive list that I
have twenty seven just written down right here. Healing healing,
a man with a withered hand healing, the paralytic, that healing,

(40:08):
the Centurion's son healing, the widow's son, that healing, the
demon possessed man healing, the woman with the issue of bleeding,
Gyrus's daughter who was dead, the two the two blind men, Bartimaeus,
the muse demoniac, the paralytic, the man with the withered hand,
the healing of the multitudes by the seas healing the
Canaanite woman's daughter, the healing the death and the mute

(40:29):
man uh healing, the blind man healing, the ten lepers healing,
the man by Jericho healing malcous here, like like even
that one's even malcous here, like the guys that were
literally arresting him, and he's like, oh, like, oh you
need help. I mean that one blows my mind, you know,

(40:53):
like they're literally taking him in to his death. Oh
you need help? Okay, gotcha. Like we think a lot
of times when something like that happens, we go, oh,
they got what's coming to him? You know, they shouldn't
have done that. Hadn't done that to me? You mess

(41:13):
with the wrong person, well you reput you so like
Wellally Jesus was like other forget they didn't know what
they were doing. And Peter didn't know he was doing
like oh, well, yeah, she shouldn't have arrested me. You know,
you shouldn't have accused me. You shouldn't come at me
like man. You know, you know it's really funny. We're

(41:35):
really good at saying, man, they got what they deserved,
and we feel that righteous, indignate that justice has been served.
And then we're the same person running over the Lord.
Oh Lord, please have mercy on me. I'm just a sinner.
The Lord, please have mercy on me. But we demand
justice whenever something wrong comes to us and kind of

(41:58):
reminds me a little bit of David and Psalms. I mean,
it's just kind of our human nature. And what if
we had that more like Jesus attitude where it was
just oh, you're here to hurt me, I'll still bless you. Yeah,
come on, friends, there's so many different ways, and we're
going to talk about all the gifts. But the main

(42:18):
thing as we start this series that they just want
to be in your hearts as we press play on
this thing is the Holy Spirit wills it. And if
you want to help people, why would you not want
to help people with every possibility that you can help
them with. Like you might be somebody who provides food
to people, but why wouldn't you want to help them

(42:39):
with monetary and help them with homes, and help them
with you know, mentors and help them like you might
be like, well, look, I'm the healing person. Like I've
got that one down, Like I know how it is. Yep,
you bring them to me. Someone needs a healing just
I got it. Like, friends, don't don't make it that
you're the healing person. Make it that Jesus as the healer.

(43:01):
Don't make it that I'm the healer. I got the
gift of healings. So you just like, oh, I got
my faith. Well, they didn't have enough faith. Like he
did it in every single way possible. It wasn't contingent
on any of those situations. Sure, we need to get
rid of our unbelief. Sure does it make it easier
if the rooms, if all the unbeliefs out of the room,
and doesn't make it like yeah, there's all these illustrations

(43:23):
in the Bible. But with all that said, Jesus just
did it because he felt like it sometimes too, you know,
like you see it in scripture. He met people where
they were, and God did supernatural things and he and
he did it as he went. That was the beauty
of this thing. Just as he was going about on
his way to the cross. So oh that happened. Yeah,

(43:44):
let me just stop and help that person too. I'm
going to go help these people with I'm going to
go and tell these people and preach the gospel to them. Oh,
they need food, so yeah, let me just do this miracle.
He met people where they were and he helped them
along the way, and then he often withdrew to go pray,
and then he met people right where they are and

(44:05):
why where they were in every situation. And just as
we start this series, I just want it to be
in your heart that it isn't about the gift of healing,
That it isn't about the gift of miracles and the
gift of prophecy and the gifts of word of knowledge.
What is this about is that the Holy Spirit wants
to help people. And when that gets in your heart,

(44:26):
how can I help people? And it isn't just to
help them to just pass it forward, like sure, we
can make all these situations and help pass it forward
and pay it forward and whatever. But this is about
helping people to reveal Jesus. We're revealing Jesus. We're revealing

(44:46):
his nature, We're revealing his goodness, we're revealing his mercy,
we're revealing his faith, We're revealing his desire for humanity.
And the more we can stay in place of humility
and operate from this place, Jesus is going to meet
you right where you are. Some of you say, well,

(45:06):
I do desire healing, you know, I do desire for
God to use me in these situations. I've just never
seen it, for whatever reason, in these kinds of situations.
I find that a lot of times it's better caught
than tie. Get out of your comfort zone. If you
go get around a ministry that sees healing and you

(45:28):
go follow them around, you're going to start seeing healing.
I never saw a physical healing my entire life praying
for people that I that I was aware of that
I could remember my whole life until I just went
out and did it. I remember being in the Ministry
of Christ for Nations with Ryan Rbanki and Daniel Kalenda.

(45:49):
I remember going to my first crusade in Zambia twenty
fifteen and the next day after that first night of
the crusade, there was thirty sons of crutches and wheelchairs
laying on the I'll never forget that as long as
I live. The Soakazam we had thirty sets of crutches
and whulchairs. I'm like, what is like? What is this?

(46:10):
People didn't need him anymore, so they just left him
at the field. It would have been like baggage trying
to carry it back, you know, just leave it. Blew
my mind. But even in that entire time I prayed
for people. I even saw some deliverance in there. I
don't really remember ever physically praying for somebody myself and
seeing the field. And then one day I went out

(46:30):
and did it. You're saying, I remember the first time
I declared from the mic, and I was like, well, right,
are Banki here, Daniel Clunde here, like, none of these
It's just little O Caleb mom for here. Nobody knew
who I was, and by myself, I didn't have a
team with me. It was just my ground team in
Pakistan that I had kind of contracted out to help

(46:52):
me for the event. And I walk out there and
I'm like, in the name of Jesus, blind eyes open
right now, and I just started to declare it out.
My head's like my head, I'm going it's just really
gonna work, like I've never done this before. And then
and I remember that first night, this sixteen year old girl,
she'd been stabbed in the eye with a needle, and

(47:16):
she walked up there and instantly her sight came back
into her eye where she had been blind for two
years from being stabbed in the eye of the needle.
And I'll never forget that because it like the Lord
spoke to me that night and I was like, did
I receive the Like when did I receive the gift
of healing? You know? I don't. I'm like, did I

(47:39):
receive it? As a kid? Did I receive it? Did? Like?
I remember praying for people in my whole life and
I don't remember anybody getting healed? Did I receive it?
When did I receive it? And I think just somewhere
along that journey of submitting my life to Christ, in
that season, the Lord got a hold of my heart
and my my the genuine desire of my heart was

(48:00):
to just heal people so that I could say I
did a crusade, Like something shifted inside of me that like,
these people have nothing and if they don't get a
healing tonight and they don't get it from my life
in this moment, and Jesus isn't lifted high, they're never
going to see it. They're lost. They're in a place
where nobody's ever going to tell them about Jesus again.

(48:22):
And the power of the Gospel transformed them in that
moment and they got set free and healed and delivered,
And it blew my mind that night. Friends, if you
get into a situation where somebody needs help. You're not
too far away from the holy spirit of being able
to use your life and use the gifts to your life,

(48:42):
and tonight we'll pray that he activates that. But I
want to go into a time of prayer here with
each of you and just to pray ministers you personally.
So you're going to hear some music coming on in
the background there maybe, And we just want to pray
for you guys right now as we kind of end this,
as we kick off this serial here, we're going to
have something to give you here at the end, and

(49:03):
just want to bless you guys, and thank you for

do it. But I thank you for every person that's
tuned in here tonight that eagerly desires to be used
in the gifts and the spirit and to help people,
to minister help to people that need help. But I
thank you right now for activating every single one of
them to lift your hands right in your room, right

(49:45):
where you are, who feel the presence about right now
what I just, Holy Spirit, as you will this right now,
I just release the gifts, every gift that you have
for them, and if it's the gift of healing, but
right now, I just pray for a release of the
gifts of healing right now over every single person. God,

(50:09):
I pray that these gifts would not be stagnant. I
pray that these gifts or that people would march into
their workplaces tomorrow, their schools, their homes, that they would
even text or call people tonight that need a gift
of healing, that need that need that breakthrough God, and
that they would stand in the gap for their friends,
their family, for their coworkers, their enemies. But I pray

(50:32):
that they would begin standing in the gap for these people,
that she would activate them. Holy sphere and the name
of Jesus Father, I just I pray for that that
extra bit of courage that it takes to stand on
your word and believe it and go forward even though
they've never seen it with their own eyes. You said,

(50:55):
less it is even Leaves who has not seen but
sweet before. Like, I don't want us to be the
doubting Thomas. I well, I have to touch it first.
I have to see it with my own eyes. I
have to put my fingers in the in the in
the wounds before I before I would believe it. Lord,
help us to be a people that will step out

(51:16):
and do it just because your word says too, because
we're obedient, and most importantly, because we love you. And
Father that just like Caleb quota out of John fourteen
about when you said that you would be sending your
Holy Spirit down to dwell among us and that he
would be with us. But you also said in that

(51:36):
chapter that that you know how much we love you
by how well we obey you. So Father, we just
asked it we be a people that are quick to obey,
quick to to lay and sacrifice our flesh at the altar,
and allow ourselves to be uncomfortable, allow ourselves to be

(51:57):
put in a spot where we are just depending on
on you, and and that our love for the other
person outweighs our selfishness are our self consciousness. So Father,
I'm just praying for that extra anointing of courage and
boldness and and maybe bring a friend that will that
will shove you in front of a group of people

(52:19):
with a microphone and make make you pray it in
front of everybody, and I pray that type of friend
to do that with you as well. Esus name, yes,
josh Joshua, with trade. Lord, I just pray that you
put the right friends in our lives. And you know, Lord,
I pray that I think what Joshua said, they're so
so powerful, Just that our hearts would be filled with love.

(52:41):
Mm hmm, our hearts would be filled with love to
minister the gospel. You know, no matter how you will it,
that we would be willing to minister the love of
Christ to each person that needs it, whether Christian or
non Christian, whether different religion or different background, or different
age or different creed, that we would just be carrying

(53:03):
the love of God and ready to minister help to
every person that needs it, and the Holy Spirit, that
you would fill our hearts with it. Father, I thank
you for for people right now that are in need
of healing right now, and I just outside of just
this release of prayer for the gift of healing, Lord,

(53:24):
I pray for those that need healing right now right now.
I just pray for Jesus every situation right now, of
every arthritis right now, arthritis to be broken now in
Jesus name, I just pray that there would be full
joint mobility. Well if I pray right now in the
name of Jesus for everybody with there's somebody with right

(53:46):
knee pain right now in Jesus' name, even now, if
that's you, just stretch out that knee and right now,
just pray that the fire of God would come into
that knee right now in Jesus name, Jesus in both
needs and need even then, the right knee right now,
just now in Jesus name, I just pray healing and
full extension. Right now, somebody has like a strain on
the back of their need to like uh, like in

(54:08):
the the backside of the knee. I don't know. You
call that in that that part hyper extended it, yeah,
hyper extension. I just pray now in Jesus name, healing, healing,
healing right now, by the power and the authority of
Jesus Christ. I speak to those that are dealing with
there's a there's somebody dealing with sleepless nights right now.

(54:31):
You're you're not getting you're not getting full rest. And
I just pray Jesus that you administer peace to them.
Right now, that stress right now, right now, I just
pray that stress off of your life. Right now, I
just pray that God in your eyes, that God would
become bigger than that thing that stresses you out, and
right now that the peace of God would come upon you.

(54:52):
I call peace to that storm now in the name
of Jesus. There's somebody dealing with a blurred vision in
their left eye right now, right now, you like it's
like fine, and then like you hit a certain way
that you look and you see like a almost like
a blur, and you don't know what it is. You're
not sure if it's a cataract or what's going on.
But right now, in Jesus name, I just pray that
thing would be gone and obliterated now and the mighty

(55:15):
name of Jesus healed by the power of Jesus Christ.
Right now, I just created for twenty twenty vision in
your eyes. And then that left eye where the blur
is right now, just just smoothed it out to perfection
right now in Jesus name. And there is there's somebody
else that's dealing with heart palpitations right now, and you've

(55:38):
actually you had the vaccine the COVID vaccine and uh.
And you have noticed in the last little bit that
you've had heart palpitations and uh, and you've been wondering
if it's connected to that thing. And right now, no
matter what's going on, I just pray in the name
of Jesus that every effect and ailment of your body

(56:00):
now be completely made whole. Now in Jesus' name, I
just pray that your heart would respond to the sound
of my voice right now, in Jesus' name, be healed.
I pray that your heart would function properly, that every
kind of attack and I would try to come against
your heart. Right now, I just pray that at the

(56:21):
root all of it dies now in Jesus' name, every
root pain or disease or side effect right now is broken.
Now in the name of I literally see like a
dissolving and a breaking into a thousand shattered pieces. Now
in Jesus' name, that thing is broken off of your life.
You are healed, you are a whole, you are set free.

(56:43):
You're never going to have to think about this thing again.
In Jesus' name. And there's somebody else you have been
dealing with. You've been thinking about your family tree. You've
been thinking of your lineage, You've been thinking of how
everybody in your family has this certain kidney disease and
this kidney ailment that keeps coming, and you've been fearing

(57:07):
it because you're having side effects in your body. Right
now you don't know what's going on, and you're fearing
the worst. But right now, in Jesus' name, I break
off this cycle of death and early death and your family.
Now in Jesus name, I just speak life over you.
I speak life to your kidneys. I speak that this
will never go to your kids, it will never go

(57:28):
It will be broken off of you right now in
Jesus name, and your kidneys will be made whole. I
will be liver disease. Now in Jesus' name. I pray
for your thyroids to function properly right now in the
name of Jesus, that there would be no more side effects,
your energy would return, your fatigue would go, and right now,
by the spirit of God, just being made whole in

(57:50):
Jesus name. Yeah, there's somebody that I think we're dealing
with an athletes or two. If there's somebody that has
a shin splits of pain in there, and I think
it's in their left once has been giving them some
pain even down into their ankle. There's some ankle issues too,

(58:10):
and the Lord sees it and he's revealing it right
now so that you can be healed. He's not revealing
it to us so that we can just point it out,
revealing it so that they will be healing. And that
goes for all the things that are being pointed out tonight.
It's because he's healing them. So right now, all the
shin splints be to the muscle and the tendons that
are inflamed, those B to B suit, that they be strengthened,

(58:30):
that they be that they be elongated to that and
so that they're stretching and they're moving properly, and strength
beckons the ankle joints. There's some cartilage that's missing out
of the ankle that's causing the pain there. That that
be filled back up and mobile. And Jesus name there's
also somebody that is having pain in their appendix, which

(58:51):
I don't even know what that does for you in
the body, but it's just asking that that the inflammation
and that go away. Now, Jesus name that that pain
goes now in Jesus name. Lord, I just thank you
for every person that's watching right now, we just speak
blessing over them. Lord. I pray that in the name
of Jesus that they would be made hope, they would

(59:13):
be healthy, it would be strong, they'd be courageous. I
pray for for that you would give every person that's
watching this, UH, give them a backbone in Jesus name,
stand up for things that are right and righteous and holy,
and not to cave in fear, for fear of what
people think, or their school systems or their jobs, or

(59:33):
that they will do what they believe is right in
the name of Jesus, and they will stand on your word.
It will be people of righteousness and holiness. And Lord,
I thank you for for healing every person watching, for
blessing their families and UH, and for for touching them
