Now let's welcome your host, Tisha Marie Cain.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Hi you guys. It is Tisha Marie Caine and I
am reporting live for Downtown Los Angeles. I am an
executive counsel, radio show host, expert, mediator, and communicator. I'm
a breakthrough mindset coach. I'm also a clinical hypnotherapist and
six times number one best selling international author and artist.
(00:57):
I'm recognized for my work working with Fortune five hundred executives,
visionary leaders, and high performing entrepreneurs, guiding them to unlock influence,
align with purpose, and create lasting impact. That's what I do.
I have a unique blend of legal expertise, leadership strategy,
(01:20):
and transformational coaching. I help individuals and organizations alike rewire
their subconscious, release emotional weight, and elevate their relationship with money,
power and self worth and This is my radio show
Beyond Mindset Limits, and today we're talking an about amazing topic.
(01:45):
We're going to hit every single area of your life,
your identity, your relationships, your money, your health, your leadership,
your confidence, your purpose, and your ability to rise. Today
we are talking about the power of your environments. And
(02:06):
here is the truth I want to start with. Your
environment is either expanding you or it's editing you, so
let that land. Your environment is either calling out the strongest,
most powerful, most healed, most disciplined, most visionary version of you,
or it's quietly editing you down into a version that
(02:30):
it's easier to manage, easier to predict, easier to control,
easier to understand, and easier to keep familiar. And sometimes
that people around you they don't mean to hurt you.
Sometimes they love you, and sometimes they feed you. Sometimes
(02:50):
they've raised you, and sometimes they held you together when
life was falling apart. But love doesn't always eat equal expansion.
And I know this. Sometimes love can become a cage
where when it's attached to the version of you that
was wounded, dependent, afraid, broke, sick, lost, or surviving. And
(03:18):
sometimes you have to ask yourself, am I in an
environment that keeps speaking to my wounds, or am I
in an environment that keeps speaking to my future? Because
you cannot become your next level self in a very
old room. Some rooms were designed for survival, and some
(03:44):
rooms were designed for healing, some were designed for a season,
but not every room has the capacity to hold you
in your expansion. And I've had my reality in the
last couple of days, Gulitch. And that's the reason why
I'm sitting in a hotel room downtown Los Angeles. Because
(04:05):
one I'm a very congruent coach. I walk the talk,
and I talk the walk, and I speak what I say,
and I mean what I say and I say what
I mean. I do all of those things because I
just show you what's possible. So I live in integrity.
I live in authenticity. I just write permission slips for
(04:27):
you to show up in your bigness. And so because
I do that for you, I certainly do that for myself.
And I'm here today to talk about the power of
environment and how buying the ticket to get in the
room is everything. So let's start with this environment is programming.
(04:51):
I want to break this down in a way that's
simple but powerful. Your environment is just it's just not
where you live. Environment is the people you talk to
every day, the conversations you keep having, the beliefs that
are normalized around you, the way that people respond when
you dream bigger, the way that people treat your pain,
(05:16):
the way that people react when you start setting boundaries,
the way that people speak about money, the way that
people speak about health, the way that people speak about success,
the way that people speak about God and purpose and
discipline and leadership and responsibility and possibility. Your environment is
also your physical space, your home, your office, your car,
(05:40):
your desk, your calendar, your closet, your phone, your inbox,
your body, your nervous system. And I want you to
hear me clearly, your environment is always training you. It's
either training you to rise, or it's training you to remain,
(06:00):
training you to become more powerful, or it's training you
to stay small. It's either training you to think bigger
or it's training you to shrink before you even speak.
And this is why the Personal Development Space says you
are the average of the five people you spend the
(06:21):
most time with. So take a look at that right,
Look at your best friend, look at your father, look
at your wife or husband, look at your colleague. You
are the average of the five people you spend the
most time with. But I want to take this a
(06:41):
little deeper because I like depth. You're not just the
average of their income. You are the average of their standards.
You're the average of their self talk of their discipline.
You're the average of their emotional regulation. You're the average
of their excuses or their courage, their capacity to tell
(07:06):
the truth. Their relationship with money. Think about that. You're
the average of their relationship with money. You're the average
of their relationship with healing. And you're the average of
their ability to celebrate you without feeling threatened by you.
(07:27):
And that's the part most people miss, because you can
be around people who technically love you but can't hold
the size of who you are becoming. And when that happens,
they may not attract your dream directly. They may just
edit it. They may say are you sure? I hate
(07:50):
it when people ask me that, are you sure? Yes,
I know because I've fixed my relationship with money a
long time ago that I'm sure. I'm sure that money
loves speed, and I make decisions quickly. I'm sure every time,
And so these people ask, are you sure that seems
to be a little lot that you don't get your
(08:15):
hopes up? Who do you think you are? Are you
really being realistic? Why can't you just be happy with
what you have? This was the story of my freaking childhood.
My mother and father would say, you know what, Tisha,
we give you an inch, and you always want to
take a mile. It's never good enough. You're always wanting more.
(08:37):
And I was shamed in my family for wanting more,
for wanting to be bigger and dream bigger. I was
shamed for that. And my first relationship right out of
the gate, he was like, Oh, you're such a dreamer.
Can't you just stay in reality? You just dream way
too big. And I remember feeling shamed for that. And
(09:00):
I'm here to tell you right now that I'm here
to play a big game, and I know you are too.
This is a radio show called Beyond Mindset Limits. So
I'm going to take a moment to stop right here
and let you guys know that there's a book out
there that I wrote. The book is called Beyond Mindset Limits.
Now this is the book. It's the standard for CEOs
(09:24):
and executives who refuse to be overlooked, undervalued, or forgotten.
But actually you could just switch out the CEOs and
executives for you. It's the standard. If you refuse to
be overlooked, undervalued, or forgotten. This book is you for you.
Go out on Amazon today and get my book. It's
(09:45):
a number one best seller, of course it is because
my standards are high. I accept nothing less for myself
and for those who surround themselves with me. And it's
it's a place to start if you don't even have
a place to start. So go out and get my
(10:05):
book today. Beyond Mindset Limits. It's a companionship to this
radio show that I do every week. It's a permission
slip for you to show up in your bigness. And
I want you to know that the environment is everything.
So I want to give you a little teaching story
because I'm a teacher and a preacher and this is
(10:27):
what I do. I want to tell you the story,
and I'm going to change out the details because this
is not about exposing anyone. I'm not here to do that,
and in fact, I'm here to love people deeper than
they love themselves. This is about teaching a principle to
you today Okay, So I know this young person who
recently stepped into adulthood, right, And this person is bright
(10:51):
and capable.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Strong, full of possibility, full of potential, the kind of
person where you see something and then that if they
can't fully see it in themselves, you know you see
it in them.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Right. So, a few years ago, this young person had
something happened that interrupted a dream. There was a physical setback.
There was an injury, and that injury became the thing
everyone kept talking about. At first, it made sense. When
someone gets hurt, you care for them, you protect them,
(11:24):
you help them heal, you give them grace. But over
time something shifted the inner. The injury stopped being a
chapter and became an identity this story around. This young
person became poor kid, a hard life, difficult start, not
(11:48):
like everyone else, has limitations, has challenges, has a label,
has a reason why life might not fully open up.
And what started as compassion slowly became programming. Because every
environment has language, and the language in that environment kept
(12:10):
speaking to the wounded version of this young person instead
of the powerful version inside. But here's where it gets interesting.
This person was not helpless. This person could work, This
person could show up this person could carry the responsibility
and do the hard things, could contribute, had strength. So
(12:35):
the issue was not just setback. The issue was the
environment that kept making the setback the headline of the life.
And that is where so many, so many people get stuck.
And it's not that they're incapable, it's that everyone around
(12:57):
them keeps agreeing with the smallish, smallest version of them.
And when enough people agree with your limitation, you can
start mistaking that agreement for truth. That is why every
environment matters, because an old environment will keep calling you
back to an old identity, and if you're not careful,
(13:21):
you'll answer to that old identity. What environment are you
still calling home loyalty or family that may actually be
editing the strongest version of you? Where have the people
around you loved you through your pain but accidentally keep
(13:45):
you identifying with it? Who keeps benefiting from you staying wounded, limited, dependent,
or small? Ask yourself these questions and what would change
if you finally stepped into an environment that expected you
(14:06):
to rise right? I don't like mediocre. I'm here to
shine so bright and I want to be completely transparent.
And you know, if you followed me on this radio show.
I'm a neuro linguistic master practitioner, so words are everything
to me. I don't say I want to be honest
here because I'm honest all the time. I'm very congruent,
(14:30):
I'm very honest all the time. So I want to
be completely transparent with you. In the last couple of days,
my reality has glitched, and it has glitched so hard.
And that is why I am broadcasting live from a
hotel room in LA because I am upgrading myself to
(14:51):
the next best version of myself. And I want you
to watch this journey. I want you to go over
to all the platforms that we have out there, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok,
go to the platforms and watch this journey. I teach
and preach about beyond mindset limits because I believe in
the power of the room. And someone close to me
(15:14):
in the last couple of days said, what you're going
to another coaching seminar, What you're going to another you know,
coaching program. You don't need any more coaching. And it
wasn't about the coaching. It was about this radio show.
It was about the power of environment, the power of
(15:37):
the room. Because I know you're an average of the
five people that you hang around with. And you don't
have to be in my physical space. You don't have
to be my neighbor or my best friend to be lifted.
You can be in my digital space like you are
now following me on this radio show. So if you're
hearing me today, you are part me and I am
(16:00):
part you, and the environment is going to level me
the f up and to be completely transparent. When my
reality glitched, everything came hard at me, and I was
deciding if I was going to be in this room
this weekend, and I was deciding if I was going
to put my money where my mouth is right because
(16:21):
I know money. I'll fix my relationship with money A
long time ago. Was I going to invest We don't
spend money because if you spend time, you lose it.
You spend money, lose it. But was I going to
invest in myself yet again to get me to the
next level of who I dreamed I could be? So
my reality said, Tisha, how bad do you want it?
(16:45):
So everyone I loved it came hard, came hard at me.
And I'm going to talk about my dad because I
love him and he doesn't listen to my radio show,
which is great. But we had lunch together yesterday and
he said, you know, just be careful because your sister's
on her own journey, and you know, maybe you shouldn't
(17:07):
shine so bright. And I thought, whooh okay, and my
whole environment glitched my own father. Now here's what I know.
My father's old, and that is not a judgment because
I'm going to be fifty years old today, right, But
(17:27):
I know that he's programmed and indoctrinated by other things
that life has lived him along the way, and he
was just offering some guidance. I guess he was just
offering a sense of you know, direction, And so there's
no resentment in him telling me that yesterday. There's none
(17:47):
because I know he was heart centered and I know
he was coming from a space of love. But and
what happened was I thought, ooh okay. So I had
all of these things go down through my avatar, like Tisha, oh,
don't shine, don't shine too big because it might make
(18:10):
other people feel uncomfortable, like stay small, stay stay small,
like don't be the bright sunshiny star that you are.
And I was like woo. So I had the discovery
call for the room for the seminar that I'm going
to this weekend, And within that one hour from the
(18:32):
moment I talked and had the discovery call to the
moment I booked that one hour, things got wonky, and
so I knew within the fibers of my soul that
I was getting in that room. I was going to
invet invest yet again in my growth because I know
I'm the average of the five people I hang around with.
(18:54):
So I want to be in a room with billionaires.
I want to be the smallest person in the room
so I can be lifted and upgraded to the next
best version of myself. So if you have been in
the personal development and coaching space, you know this right
those who have it, let me break it down for you.
(19:17):
I will buy the ticket to get in the room
with the greats because I know they can only pull
me up from there. I know everybody in that room
is better than me, So I'm going to be better
just by being in that room. Being in the room,
being in that environment will level you up. Are you
keeping yourself small? Are you keeping yourself small because of
(19:40):
loyalty to others? An old environment will keep calling you
by an old identity, and I know this. Sometimes the
cage is not cruelty. Sometimes the cage is comfort. You
cannot become powerful in an environment that keeps rewarding your helplessness.
(20:04):
The people who love you may still be addicted to
the version of you. They know how to manage. And
your next level requires witnesses who can see your strength
before you're fully believed in it yourself. Right. I mean
you think about your you know your favorite teacher, Ask
(20:25):
yourself who was your favorite teacher? Right? And I remember
my favorite teacher was my third grade teacher, Miss Gainey,
and I loved her because the way she made me
feel about myself. She would tell me, Tisha, you can
do anything. Your smile lights up the room, your aura
lights of the room. You can do anything. And I
(20:46):
remember I loved her so much because how she made
me feel. Right, So she believed in me, and she
believed in me when my little third grade self couldn't
even believe in myself back then. Right. So I'm telling you,
and I'm talking to you today about the power of
your environment, and it's important. It's important to strategically place
(21:12):
yourself around people who are better than you, who want
the best for you. This is where we have to
tell the truth with love too. There's a difference between
support and there's a difference between enabling. Support says I
see that you're hurting, and I also see your strength.
(21:34):
Enabling says, you are hurt, so I'm not going to
expect anything from you. Support says I will help you heal,
but I will not help you hide. Enabling says, I
will organize the whole room around your wound. And this
is what happened to this person. This person had an injury,
(21:55):
and everyone said poor kid, instead of saying, okay, this
is injury. There's ways to get past this, this physical therapy,
there's ways mindset alone, And doctor Joe Despinza talks about
this all the time. He said he got hit by
a car and his he didn't have a single surgery.
(22:16):
His mindset alone helped heal his back. And I believe
in that. And again, whatever you believe, you're right right.
So if you believe it's all nonsense, it is. And
if you believe it's more than that or there might
be something to it, it is. So when you look
at support, and you look at it and enabling support
(22:39):
builds capacity. Enabling builds deficiency. Support honors your pain without
making it permanent. Right enabling keeps mailing everything into that wound,
mailing it back to keeping you stuck in that. And
(23:00):
this is just not families. This happens in companies. I
work with executives every day all day. This happens with CEOs.
This happens in marriages, It happens in friendships, It happens
in churches, it happens in boardrooms. And this happens in
(23:22):
legal cases as well. It does. It happens in legal cases.
It happens in coaching spaces, it happens in business partnerships.
Don't outshine me, don't shine too big. This happens anywhere
in environment benefits from you. Stay in the same because
sometimes people are not investing in your healing. They are
(23:44):
investing in your role the peacemaker, the helper, the one
who never says no, the one who stays broke, the
one who stays quiet. So the power of the room
is huge. I want you to think about that. And
we're going to take a minute to go to a
break and we come back. We're going to lay into
the legal lens of this a bit, and I'm going
(24:06):
to show you some other principles to help you live
in your bigness through the power of your environment.

(28:00):
So today we're talking about the power of environment, the
power of the room, and I want to dive in
here to the next segment, which is the legal lens. Now,
let me bring it into the legal side, because this
is where my brain goes immediately in the courtroom, environment matters.
People think the law is just about facts or evidence, documents,
(28:23):
testimony and procedures, and yes, all of that matters, but
there's another layer, and the legal environment can either empower
someone or intimidate them. A person can walk into a
courtroom already feeling small, already feeling unheard, already feeling like
nobody would believe them, specially in the anti family court.
(28:46):
I call it the anti family court because I don't
know if you guys know any of the family courtrooms.
I don't really think that they help families at all.
But that's my own personal opinion, and this is my
radio show, so I could say that. So it's great.
So from a legal lens, they could make you forget
(29:07):
your own truth. It can make you believe that you
don't have a voice. It can make people accept less
than what they deserve because they're overwhelmed by that room.
And this is why I care so deeply about helping
people understand their rights, their voice, their opinions, and their strategy.
(29:30):
We have rights, don't take a benefit. And that's a
whole another segment for those who know, no, you have
a right to vote, why would you ever need to register? Right?
So I'm going to talk about that segment too, but
that's for a future show. But today we're talking about
(29:53):
the power of the room, because the right environment can
change how our person shows up. Whenever no one feels prepared, supported,
organized and grounded, they stand differently, they speak differently, they
remember differently, They be an advocate for others differently. They
(30:15):
stop begging to be believed and start presenting the truth
with clarity. And that's environment. And I have seen this
in legal situations time and time again. When people are
surrounded by chaos, fear, intimidation, and confusion, they shrink. I've
been in the criminal court and I've watched where the
(30:37):
defendant has shrunk because they're so intimidated by the judge,
by the district attorney. They're so intimidated, and when they
are surrounded by structure and clarity, advocacy and truth and knowledge,
they start to rise. Because that's what happened to me.
(30:59):
I just pray. I'm like God, you know, and whatever
God means to you, I pray to God, Universe and Spirit. God.
You know. I'm in this courtroom right now, and I
need all hands on debt because we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but we wrestle against principalities. Right when
I started to pray and get the knowledge, I began
(31:22):
to rise. And this is why your environment is not
a side issue. It is central to your outcome. In
the courtroom, in the boardroom, in life, the room you
are in will either activate your authority or challenge your
(31:42):
ability to access it. So let's move on. I want
to talk about let's see, let's talk about it from
the publicist lens, right, So now let's talk about publicity.
As a publicist and a publisher. I've seen many people
with powerful star stories completely underestimate themselves because they are
(32:03):
surrounded by environments that never treated their voice as valuable.
They will say, who would even when I hear my story,
I'm not important enough or I don't know if I'm ready.
Other people are more qualified, Like I can't ever write
a book, and I'm like, are you kidding me? Everybody
as a story. This is why I'm a publisher. I
(32:26):
publish stories. I love stories. I write every single day
because I'm an author, and I investigate and I ask questions,
those good quality questions about other people because I am
I truly care about them, and everybody has a story,
because most people don't wake up one day and decide
(32:47):
their voice does not matter. They were trained, Maybe they
grew up in a room where being visible was dangerous.
Maybe they were mocked when they stood out. Maybe they
were only praised when they were useful. Maybe they were
told to be quiet, and that's important, right. I believe
whatever you've got in trouble for a as a kid
(33:10):
is actually your superpower. They always told me Tisha Maury Kane,
you know, sit down and shut up. Well, you know what,
I can't stand still and nor can I be quiet.
It's so funny. I sit here and I laugh at
myself because it really is my superpower, because I have
a voice for the voiceless I am a voice for
(33:35):
the voiceless, because when you can't talk, I'll just tell
you exactly how the cowait the cabbage. My older sister
is like this too. She has like I have a
little bit of a filter, but she has no filter.
She'll just tell you, hey, no, that's not the right
thing to be doing. Right. I'm a voice for you
when you don't believe that you have one. Maybe you
(33:56):
were rewarded for being humble in a way that actually
meant in visible. Like I see this with C suite
executives every day all day. Stay humble, don't be too fancy,
don't shine too big. You know, you're you're the vice president.
Stay small, you know, just kind of be humble in
the background. No, no, no, no, no, no, no no. Right,
(34:22):
this is identity work. Publishing is not just putting words
in a book. It's helping someone take up space. It's
helping someone say, my story matters, my voice matters, my
work matters, my wisdom matters, my legacy matters. Right, putting
yourself in the rooms where my legacy matters. Even I'm
(34:45):
currently writing a book for a company that has been
in business one hundred and seventeen years, here in California,
and even the executive the presidents of the company said
the book may be a little too long, and I thought, wow,
(35:05):
you know, he's the kindest, gentlest man I've ever met.
And everyone who talks about this man is congruent and
says that he's humble and he's kind. But he's thinking
that his legacy book is a little too long. I'm like,
are you kidding me right now? Like you have one
hundred and seventeen years to put in how you survived
(35:28):
all of the challenges in your company. We got to
put in your values and your vision and your grit.
Let's do that. And so he was on board by
the time I showed him yesterday what we have accomplished
together as a team to get his legacy out there,
because his legacy matters. And I know this deeply because
(35:49):
I do not just help people get seen. I help
them become safe enough inside themselves to be seen. And
this is environment. When someone steps into an environment where
their story is honored, their voice is refined, and their
message is elevated, and their purpose is taken seriously, they
(36:14):
begin to expand. They stop hiding behind. Some day, they
stop waiting for permission, and they stop shrinking their message
to make other people comfortable, and they begin to understand
that visibility is not vanity. Visibility is a responsibility. When
(36:36):
your story can help someone else, heal rise and remember
who the f they are. And let me repeat that,
because this is freaking profound. I hope you can feel
my energy through these radio channels, right, Like, it's your
freaking responsibility to get your story out there, specially when
(37:01):
it can help someone He'll rise and remember who the
f they are? Right once, I thought in the past,
and we'll talk about this on another radio show, like
okay sells with Sleazy until I reframed it in my
mind because I love reframing things. I reframed it in
my mind. I'm like, no, huh uh sells the service.
(37:23):
So every time I sell a beyond mindset session for
hypnotherapy to rewire and reprogram the subconscious mind, I am
serving them and their family and their family's family, right,
So you've got to reframe it. I have a responsibility
(37:44):
to sell. I have a responsibility to use my God
given gifts to help you rise into visibility so that
your message could empower someone else, And especially in the
trying times. Now let's talk about the power of the
(38:06):
room through coaching and the hypnotherapy lens. Now, let's bring
this into into full view, because this is where it
gets really deep. Your subconscious mind is shaped by repetition, emotion, authority,
and environment. What you heard over and over and over
(38:28):
became familiar. What you felt over and over felt normal.
What authority figures told you to become internal, right to
stay small? What your environment repeated became your identity. So
(38:51):
when someone says I am I'm just not confident, I
just I just don't know. I don't know what to do,
I don't immediately believe that. I ask who taught you
not to trust yourself? What environment punished your confidence? Where
(39:12):
did you learn that being powerful could cost you love?
Where did you learn that being visible was unsafe? Where
did you learn that wanting more made you selfish? Right?
I heard that growing up my whole entire life. Why
are you being selfish? Why do you want more? Can't
(39:32):
you just be satisfied with what you have? You have
a good running car, Why would you want the best car? Right?
Even today? Like seriously today, I mean currently in today's life,
I'm driving my dream car but there's always the next
best level, right, And so I went into this parking
(39:54):
lot and this guy was driving the Mercedes Bins convertible
that I want, that's in my peripheral and I looked
at him. I'm like, dude, you're driving my dream car.
And he goes, what what did you say? I said, dude,
you're driving my dream car. I said, I already have
a Mercedes and but this is my next level Mercedes.
He goes, well, you're a dream woman. Oh yes, I am.
(40:19):
And he goes, I'm just telling you right now, you
could have this if you really want it. And I said, hey,
thank you, and I winked at him, and I kept
on going. He put that in my peripheral. I put
that in my peripheral and then I put that into
full resolution. I'm like, this guy said I could have it.
He's driving my dream car, and I'm a dream woman.
How can I collapse timelines and get everything out of
(40:42):
this life that I want? How could I do that? Right?
So it was such a freaking gorgeous moment today, and
I was like, yeah, rock on, dude, you know, I
was just like cheerleading him all the way. Right. This
is why mindset is not about just affirmations alone. You
can am I worthy all day long, but if your
(41:03):
environment keeps treating you like you're not, your nervous system
is not going to believe that. From your environment. You
can say I am abundant. But if everything around you
speaks scarcity, judges wealth, fears investment, or normalizes struggle, your
subconscious is constantly receiving opposite messages. Right, I walked into
(41:26):
Seize Candy today. I love Sees Candy, and I'm like,
I've made it to this next level that I only
eat the best, and I believe that Sees Candy's the best.
Seas Candy made it through freaking the nineteen twenties depression,
and I think that Sees Candy is the best. And
I walked into the Seas Candy in LA and there
(41:47):
was a what was it like an heirloom gift tin,
and I'm like, oh, they have a tin. They have
a box that looks like the seas Candy bar, but
it's a ten that I immediately thought I need to
put my paintbrushes in. Right, I'm like, I need that ten.
I need that ten, And she goes, oh, ma'am, yes,
(42:11):
you could have that ten, but it's going to cost
you another eight dollars. O oh yeah, So like, don't
talk to me about eight dollars when I'm already investing
forty eight dollars in one pounds of chocolate. Like throw
in the freaking tin. Right, I'm not living in scarcity.
I'm not doing that anymore. You can say I'm powerful,
(42:34):
and if your environment keeps interrupting you, dismissing you, minimizing you,
right that lady and sees Candy is like, it's another
eight dollars. She was like minimizing me, What do you
mean into scarcity? She should have said, we'll be adding
eight dollars to your tab. I would have said, thank you. Cool.
(42:55):
That's where all at, right, because I normalize it. You
can say I'm powerful, but if your environment keeps you small.
This is why healing has to include environment, because the
nervous system needs evidence, it needs to feel I'm safe here,
I'm allowed to grow here, I'm allowed to be honest here.
(43:18):
I want more. I want to be seen, I want
to be successful, I want to be supported. And do
you know how many people outside or just one wrong
out when I say I'm going to be making more
and they're like, oooh what, Yeah, I'm here to impact
millions and make millions. And I could physically feel, because
I'm very empathic, people shrink to be small when I
(43:41):
say that. They're like, oh God, I would never say that.
And that's why I want to normalize this, right, money
is just energy. I want to normalize being in the
room that pulls you up and investing in your life
to get you to the next level. And sometimes the
most powerful intervention is not in another book, not in
(44:03):
another podcast, not in another seminar or another strategy. But
sometimes the most powerful intervention is changing the room and
the environment in which you're in. So let's move on.
You are the five people that you hang around, and
I talked about that. Let's go back to that idea.
(44:26):
You are the five people you spend the most of
your time with. People say this all the time, but
I want you to really audit it. Look at the
five people closest to you, not the five people you
admire online, not the five people you wish you were
closest to, but the real five, the people who have
(44:47):
access to your time, who have access to your energy,
your emotions, your decision making, those people, those people who
have access to your nervous system, your dreams, your money,
your conversations, identity. Now ask are they physically are they
physically and mentally expanding me? Or are they editing me?
(45:12):
Do they normalize health? Do they normalize movement, strength, energy, discipline?
Do they normalize care for your body? Or do they
normalize neglect, exhaustion, addiction, excuses or self abandonment. You know,
I once had a rock throw and hit my windshield
(45:35):
and it broke my windshield and the windshield you know,
life life to me. And I got busy, and I
hired the windshield guy to come to my work and
fix the windshield. And I was just you know, I'm
a people person and I was just asking good quality questions.
I'm like, hey, dude, can you tell me something. He goes, well,
I'm like, so, you're replacing my windshield today at my
(45:57):
work and he said yeah, And I said, my car
is like very clean, right. He goes, oh yeah, he goes,
this is one of the cleanest cars I've ever seen
in my life. I'm like, okay, I said, well, what's
your take on that? He goes, Okay, he goes, I'm
so glad that you're asking this question. My take is this,
Their car is like their home. He goes, how's your home?
Right now? I said, my home is heca clean? He goes,
(46:18):
exactly how you keep your cars, how you keep your home.
How you keep your home is how you keep your
mental mindset? Right? If you got a lot of clutter everywhere,
I wonder where your mind is cluttered? Right? If you
want the first step to making space is decluttering your office,
(46:39):
decluttering your space, decluttering your phone, your personal computer, cleaning
up your car, cleaning up those spaces, and what you'll
feel is that expansion. So I'm wondering if those five
people you're hanging around are emotionally expanding you or editing you?
Can you can they hold hard conversations? Can they celebrate
(47:03):
your wins? Can they respect your boundaries? Can they tell
you the truth without trying to control you? Or do
they pull you into guilt, obligation, chaos, resent it or
emotional survival? Ask yourself these questions, you know this way
I see. I was thinking about this the other day.
(47:24):
We have this rise of in the spiritual community, which
is great, you know, I'm oh and spiritual too, But
we have this rise in the spiritual community where people
are channeling these extra terrestrials and interdimensionals and channeling these
beings outside of ourselves, and I'm like, uh uh, that's
(47:44):
not what I'm doing. I sync up with Gus, I
channel I channel my higher self, I channel God. And
as soon as I shut my mouth, as soon as
I get quiet, I have all the answers. I just
have to get quiet. And for me, sometimes the world
gets so noisy. That's why I value my downtime. I
(48:08):
value my five am epic morning routine from five to
seven where nobody gets me but God. Right, and I pray,
and praying is talking to God. And then I meditate
and that's listening to God. And I go back there
and I sync up with God. And I don't channel
anybody but my higher self, the best version of me. Right.
(48:35):
Edit Edit the people around you, edit your mindset. Do
they call you higher? Do they remind you of who
you are? Do they help you stay connected to purpose
and faith and love and service and integrity? Right? I
was thinking about this today. You know, you know they
(48:58):
billionaires have got a bad rap. As they said that.
You know, billionaires are making money outside of integrity, and
I'm like, no, that's furthest from the truth. I work
with C suite executives every day, all day, and I
have been in the rooms of some heart centered people
that would never step outside of integrity, never step outside
(49:20):
of authenticity, and I'm seeing evidence of that. I'm like,
this is the new Earth. This is the rise of
creating billionaires who are very congruent and living in their authenticity.
So your environment is either expanding you or it's editing you.
(49:40):
So let's talk about when loyalty becomes the limit. This
is a big one. Sometimes we stay in environments too
long because we confuse loyalty with self abandonment. We say,
but that's my family, But they've always been there for me.
But I don't want to hurt anyone. I feel bad leaving,
(50:02):
but they need me, you say, all that garbage. You
can honor where you come from without letting it determine
where you're going. You can love people without letting them
lead your life. You can be grateful for a season
without staying there forever. You can have compassion for someone's
(50:22):
pain without allowing their pain to become the ceiling over
your life. You know this last weekend, I went to
Texas and I got to visit my sister in Texas,
and I love Texas, and you have your Texans listening.
My heart goes out to you because I love Texas.
I love Texas barbecue. I love Texas barbecue, and I
(50:42):
miss that here in California. But I'm telling you right now,
Texas is its own environment. California is its own environment.
When I went back to Texas, it's a slower life.
There's trees and fishing and boats and slow down. And
right now I'm in the middle of La. It is
(51:03):
busy and it is crazy good and it's fast paced,
and I think there's a time for it, all right.
It's just really getting clear on what you want. What
is it that you want. Look at your physical environment,
because your home is talking to you, your office is
(51:24):
talking to you, your cars talking to your closets talking
to you. It says you're overwhelmed, you're behind, You're not
in control right. It says that you tolerate disorder. Once
I started noodling out on my closet, I'm like, oh no,
these shoes are gonna be all staffed up nice. I'm
gonna put all my tank tops hanging on the right,
(51:46):
all my business suits to the left, all my dresses
in the middle. Once I organized all that, I felt
like ooh, my nervous system could regulate because my physical
environment was a product now of who I was becoming.
The boardroom, the executive environment, the company culture is an environment.
Leadership team is an environment. Meetings are an environment. Look
(52:09):
at all of that, right, So, what I want to
tell you today is the power of the room is huge.
A person's environment often becomes a physical reflection of their
inner standards, unresolved pain and tolerated patterns. And when a
(52:29):
young person is raised inside that environment, they can unconsciously
inherit the same limits unless someone helps them to see
it another way. You may not be broken. You may
just be planted in soil that cannot grow the next
best version of you. My name is Tisha Marie Kane,
