Speaker 1 (00:00):
Peyton, I'm gonna go to the Funny Bone tonight for
open mic night. I got new jokes. I gotta work
them out there. You go. I know you're not going,
but i'd say I'm not going to ask you to
go because you've got other things to do.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Pat, Yeah, I got real important things. I got it
going on over here.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Very busy man, very busy man. Uh So, let's see.
Governor Pilling broke out the veto pen today, Pilling veto's
bill defining snow and ice removal flood management as emergency
or in some areas, emergency uh management duties. I don't

(00:40):
even know what the hell that is. We remove snow
and ice. The city does it here in Omaha, and
they contract with other people to do it. So why
does it have to be an emergency management duty? I
have no idea what the details are. And then, uh, Peyton,
what else to be veto today?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
He vetoed Governor Pilling veto to bill that would exclude compensation,
salaries and wages from being disclosed by Nebraska's colleges and universities.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
All right, I'm sorry, I'm gonna try not to lose
my mind over this.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
But.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
We're getting killed in taxes and fees in this state.
And I keep hearing all these people. We gotta do
something about the brain drain. We gotta do something about
the brain drain. You know, you want to do something
about brain drain. You know the originally got brain drain
is because people with a brain realize, you know what,
I'm young, I'm smart, I'm good at what I do.

(01:43):
I'll go work somewhere else where. I can keep some
of my own money. That's what I'll do. What. Yeah,
so you're telling me these guys past a bill. Listen
to me, Listen to me closely. Just I want to
make sure I get this right. They passed a bill

(02:04):
while you and I see every time that unicamer goes
into session, and we always hear these guys harm for
rump rabble rabble, tax cuts, property tax cuts, property taxes
for rump rabble rabble. And then what do they pass
some stupid bill to protect all those snobs at public universities,
all those nuts in there, those tenured professors who just

(02:26):
sit there and just you know, like a king, like
a naked king on a throne. Yes, yes, you you
people are just stupid. You don't need guns you. People
are stupid. Boys can turn into girls. You are stupid.
I am an academic. So their salaries are paid with

(02:52):
your money, my money, and most important, patent's money. So
they pass a bill to hide it from you. What
a collection of booger eating morons that they mean, Shame
on them for even Shame on them for even taking

(03:13):
that up. And they wasted valuable time in the unicamera.
And I know you're listening. You wasted all that time
in the unicamera, puffing your chest out, peacocking around. Oh,
I'm here to make things. I care about the Nebraska citizen.
I want to make them. I want the I think
property taxis serious. We're gonna get serious about it. And

(03:35):
then what do you do you protect public salaries from
the public. I don't know about you. Sometimes you want
to look up the salary of some tenured professor who
just periodically sashets in there to conduct a class or two,
and then meanwhile come out publicly and demonize hard working people.

(03:59):
I mean, give me a break. You people suck. Take that.
That's what you are. That's the best thing that's come
out of that unicamer in a hundred years. That's it.
Boy does that irritate me that and thank goodness, Governor
Pillen just said, I don't care. We ain't doing that whack.

(04:22):
And if they override that, all boy, are we going
to have a fight. Yeah, what are you thinking of?
How did they I want to know, how did they
possibly decide? Yes, we have to waste our time trying
to hide from the taxpayer how much they're paying for stuff.

(04:43):
That is Ugh, that is so annoying. Oh oh, that
drives me crazy. I'm telling you, I'm gonna put a
dog on margarita machine in here if this keeps up,
because we're gonna have to start drinking during the show
to not lose our mind over this stuff. Good lord, Yeah,

(05:04):
don't treat on the job. But margaritas are pretty good. Yeah, well,
we'll have virgin Margarita's. Virgin Margarita is only we'll have
some of those. No, I mean, seriously, you know, how
do how does this happen? You know, these people come
to us every election cycle. I'm the greatest, I'm the smartest,
I know how to get I'm gonna put Nebraska on

(05:26):
the I'm gonna cut those property taxes. I'm gonna do this.
And then they don't do any of it. They can't
even get the legal not really legal medical marijuana crap
figured it out. How is that? You know what? Go
find some burnout from the nineties that sold weed through
high school and college and ask him how to do it. God,

(05:51):
that is the stupidest thing ever. I mean, look at
our elected officials from top to bottom are just imbeciles,
not all of them, but too many of them. Just
like today in Washington, DC, when the brave Republicans who

(06:12):
were supposedly so brave and so strong and so determined
sell out the president, sell out the massive number of
American voters that gave Donald Trump a landslide victory, a
mandate to stop letting illegal aliens move into America. And

(06:37):
what did they do today?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Why?

Speaker 1 (06:38):
You know, the Haitians are three hundred and fifty thousand
Haitians that we never heard of, you know, they maybe
they you know that we should just protect them and
locations are beautiful and wonderful people. But we are supposed
to be a nation of laws. And I'm sorry, I'm
so sick of these people coming around home. I'm here

(06:59):
when my budget I'm gonna blood. And then they don't
do anything they pass some stupid billy we think that
we'll hide all the salaries from these overpaid, bloated professors.
Sorry I said it. I mean give me a break.
Look what's what I'm serenity now? Serenity? Now? What's tuition

(07:24):
at the University of Nebraska? Right now? I wonder what
is it? Right? I mean, there's a billion young men
and women right now getting ready to graduate high school
and they're gonna go to college. And how many of
those beautiful, wonderful young men and young women who are
looking at the University of Nebraska or UNO? I mean,
we have look, we have great colleges in this state,

(07:46):
but we have nit wits in charge. But how many
kids right now are looking at college? What am I
gonna do for college? How many times do we got
to hear about the debt from college loans? Right? I mean,
we just had an administration that was ready to just
quote unquote forgive all those college loans, and that means
putting the giving you the bill? Right, So now you

(08:11):
want to hide their salaries so that maybe a guy
like me can hear of some blowhard professor teaching some
kind of goofy nonsense. And I can just, out of curiosity, go,
what the hell are we paying this jackass this year?
I mean, this is crazy. Here. We constantly hear, oh college,

(08:32):
it's just out to It's just it's just so expensive
for kids. It's so expensive to go to college. Okay, well,
maybe you should look at your budget and while we
get to look at it too, and maybe together we
can find ways to lower those college expenses. But why
would you do that, because you've got to pay all
those pseudo intellectual blowhards. Oh they just annoy me so much. Sorry,

(08:57):
I'm getting fired up, but.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
You and l just approved a five percent increase on tuition.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Well, hallelujah, way to go, Yeah, good for you, way
to go. Seriously, and man, I'm telling you, you go
to these guys go to college, and there's always somebody
right there. First of all, you get the American Express
people there, and the MasterCard people there, and all these
credit vendors that show up. Hey, now that you're in college,

(09:27):
I think you're responsible enough to get yourself a credit
card and the interest rates only ten billion percent. Hell
of a deal. Go ahead, good lord, it's so annoying.
I just snapped. Sorry, it just I mean, ah, why why? Ugh,

(09:53):
I'll take any member of the unicamer who wants to
call my show and explain this. I'm not going to
reach out. Why do you blow hards ont to call
my show and explain this to me? Why would you
waste all that time? Why would you waste all that time? Okay,
we we have criminals like for just like yesterday, you

(10:19):
got a lady who is obviously suffering from mental health
issues and she slices a three year old child's face
and then police officers have to end that threat once
and for all. And why was that lady walking around

(10:41):
because there was nowhere to put her. And you're worried
about protecting the salaries of the vaulted Polly, the ingeniuses
and academia at the University Nebraska system. We should probably
hide those. Oh yeah, I think that's a great idea.

(11:03):
And then we can say it was bipartisan, even though
it's the Unicamera, the greatest deliverertive body in the history
of all deliberative bodies, that's supposedly nonpartisan. Right. Ugh, you people,
you just uh you annoy me to the tenth power.
I'm gonna run around the block and work off all
this anger and then come back and still be mad.

(11:27):
Sometimes you got to talk about tangible issues. Tangible issues.
These are real, you can grab them, you can touch them,
And that unicamer is screwing it up again. Email comes in.
Let's see nitwits, indeed, including Jim pillin. All right, So
why is Jim Pilling a nitwit? If he's the one

(11:49):
that vetoed that stupid piece of legislation. That legislation would
have led to lawsuits. Guaranteed, that would have led the lawsuit? Now,
am I overreact? Hang on? You know what we should
ask the moonbat magic eight ball a new or one
of the new things here on the Chris Baker Radio Show.

(12:11):
Remember the moon Remember the eight ball. When you're a kid,
you'd have a question, to shake it and then it
would give you a little answer. Well, now we have
the moonbat magic eight ball. Let's let's shake it up
at the moonbat magic eight ball? Am I overreacting? Let's
shake it up and see.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
We need chance people. We love chance people. Chance la
blawn here.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I think the answer is no. I think I don't know. Uh,
I mean it man, this unicameral, I don't understand why
you know if if you're elected and that crap comes up.
How come nobody just stands up and says, why are
we wasting time with something so stupid? I mean, these people,

(12:56):
they just got to find some kind of something stupid. Oh,
let's this is very import to have debate on. There
are I have to do some hearings. We have to
figure this out, because you know, this could be a
really big deal. This is really a big problem. We
got to really look at this. Oh, you people, I'm
telling you right now, I'm just gonna you know what,
I'm just gonna get you. I'm gonna give you just
a full stinking scholarship. Men, do you find yourself lacking

(13:21):
what it takes to succeed in the bedroom? Do you
suffer from anxiety when you hear the term America? First?
Have you taken time off from work over a comment
posted on your timeline? Well, you are exactly the man
we're looking for. The butcher academy.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Can turn a beta soy boy, cried bully Midland like
you to the rugged, masculine, determined demand you were designed
to be.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Just want what's up?

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Academy can turn a snowflake into a strong, confident master
of your domain.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Don't take my word for it or graduates.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
I noticed my husband was becoming one of those femboys
you see swishing around town. First he got sentence shower gel.
Now he has six different types of lotion. And I
caught him crying watching the British Baking Show. If I
wanted to be married to a woman, I'd be a lesbian.
So I forced him into the butch Up Academy. Now

(14:22):
there's a man in this house, underwear on the floor,
drinking out of the milk carton and in the bedroom.
One word, Timer, Thanks butch Up Academy, the Butchup Academy.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
And no, I'm not giving you our web address. Find
it yourself. Chris Faker radio program, News Radio eleven ten KFBE.
I'm going to give a scholarship to people in the
Nebraska unicamer I mean, it's just the more I think
about it, the matter I'm getting. You're literally sitting around. Remember,
we should pass legislation to hide all those public salaries

(14:57):
from the people who pay them. Ugh emails coming in
right now, Chris, you don't know what you're talking about.
The University of Nebraska is a very valuable institution to
the state of Nebraska, and those who teach and those
who manage deserve every dime they are paid. Well, maybe

(15:23):
they do. I don't know. But we ought to be
able to look and see. Don't you think I do?
All right? Well, here's another one, Dear Chris. Why are
you screeching about this when you have vulnerable individuals who
can't even pay for college? That's what I'm talking about.

(15:44):
It's okay, I'm all right, I'm calling. I'm good. I'm good,
I'm good. Serenity now, Just I don't get it, Peyton,
I really don't
