(00:00):
Yeah, again they come out.She says it again, like no,
they're trying to. They're they're overhere harassing me, this and this,
and they're like, I mean,I think it's imagined how pencil was in
that in that jury room. Nohid, I got too much game online

(00:21):
wide, n't move up and they'regonna ride, you know. So,
So the DA ray he makes hisopening statements and the first witness that he
calls is the I think it wasthe gang expert of the ray first witness.

(00:43):
So he gets understand and he startstalking about the gang, and he
starts talking about, you know, the whole structure of the gang, and
that the gang is violent and theycommitted parnings and they do all these things
like and then he starts talking aboutme, but he has no he has
no histor do with me, right, So I'm telling my I'm telling my

(01:04):
lawyer. I was like, look, this guy does not know me like
that. He's never arrested me before, he has he has nothing on me,
like, he's never there's nose.Every time they pull you over,
they have to fill out in field. I think it's called the fire card,
fire card field, the insane report, right, So they got to

(01:26):
show Okay, we pulled this guyover, they got to write down your
name, They got to write downeverything. Right, So I'm telling my
lawyer and I lived. If thisguy doesn't have nothing on me, then,
you know, so ask him thesequestions. Ask him how many terms
has he ever arrested me? Askedhim how many times has he actually pulled
me over? And how many timesyou know, has he seen me in

(01:48):
the in the neighborhood, like becausethis guy Turner, like I said,
he wasn't around like in the latenineties, early two thousands, I don't
I don't remember him. But atthe same time, how I got locked
up in two thousand and so afterthat, you know, I don't know
what cops game. But in twothousand and four, you know, after
our head already got jumped out ofthe neighborhood and wasn't involved in anything,

(02:13):
that he's seen a couple of timesand he pulled me over. And like
I said, I didn't run. He's had no reason to my thing.
But he pulled me over a coupleof times and that was it. Those
are the only accounts we had.So my lad, this this dude does
not even do that he doesn't evenhe doesn't even like establish the fact that
that this gang expert had no kindof evidence to show that I'm even an

(02:37):
active GAG member, to show thatI've committed to any kind of times in
the past for the gang. Likehe has nothing. This gangers basically lets
him get up there and speak andand really has has nothing nothing else to
say, you know. So helet this guy speak, and you know,
he pounds a good one. LikeI said, he starts bringing up

(02:59):
he starts bringing up the Mexican mafiaand all this and that, and I'm
telling my longer, Wait a minute, why is this guy talking about Mexican
mafia, Like, I got nono such connection to Mexican mafia in any
type of a way. This hasnothing to do with the Mexican mafia.
You know the you know the gangexperts, and well they all answers to

(03:22):
the Mexican maffia. They all dothis, and they all do that,
and if if there's a snitch,then there's a green light and they're gonna
kill this guy and this and thisand that, right, which is all
bullshit because at the end of theday, there's millions of individuals for snitching.
You know that you can say snitchinglike getting on the stand and say,

(03:43):
hey, that's him, that's youknow what I mean right there.
It's happening all day every day,and these guys are not being murdered.
You guys are not being killed,These guys are not being retality against.
But this guy's making it seem like, oh, there's this hardcore organization that
just by you being label snakes, you're dead. You're automatically dead, and
there's no way around it, youknow. So these they said, he's

(04:04):
packing a good one to the jury, And I'm trying to tell my longer
that you need to you need tofight back, man, like you need
to you need to say something aboutthat like that that that don't make no
pep of sense. And and honestlythey're not even allowed to do that.
Later on down the line, youknow, running into a couple other guys

(04:26):
that have the same type of thing. They actually outlawed that. They say,
you can't do that, you can'tbring up the Mexican off, you
can't deliver that because there's no there'sno links to that. So how are
you going to bring this up?This is uh, what's it called?
I think it's called inflammatory basically, like trying to get the jury to get
you know, breasly, like scarethem. And it's just like a fair

(04:46):
tactic. Man. So they weren'tsupposed to do that, but they were
doing everything they could to make itseem like like I was this hardcore game
member, you know, but withoutevidence, without improof, but I was
actually part of the gang committing crimesfor the game and being in the hood
and getting arrested in Loove that stuff. There was nothing, And I try

(05:11):
to get him an order to bringup the evidence of me, you know,
working, having a full time job, graduating high school, calling to
college, you know. I tryto get character witnesses. But this guy
did not want to do nothing forme. He's like, no, you
don't got to do none of that. The um, the DA has to
prove your your guilty. We don'tgot to do nothing. I don't know
what you knew. We don't gotto do nothing. Like I have to

(05:33):
prove I'm innocent. They're not.I'm just gonna think I'm innocent. They
don't know. They're gonna think I'mguilty because of all this ship that the
d say. So I want toprove it, you know. But here's
whole things like no, you don'tgot to prove nothing. You don't gotta
prove nothing, and beyond the reasonabledoubt, you know, let them do
their thing and then we'll well we'lldo ours, and well we'll be all
right, we we're good, youknow. So the d you know,

(05:56):
he had to getting expert speak andthen he has he has the victim,
you understand, and the victim getsunderstand and he's he's basically saying no,
that I'm not the shooter, andthe das trying to delay. Well,
when you're a game member, aren'tyou aren't you afraid that it's by you

(06:16):
by being in court, that you'regonna be a target and they're gonna try
to kill you. And he's like, no, I'm not afraid. Like
so the victim is basically like pinagainst everything that he ain't saying, man,
you know, plasically calling him onhis bullshit. But at the end,
the DA defense is like, well, he's a gameber. He's not
going to cooperate, you know,he's not he's not gonna sit here and

(06:38):
say that this guy shot him becausethere's there's rules, and he's gonna get
killed, and the victim like,no, man, like I'm not.
I'm not scared, to be understand, I'm not scared to to appoint somebody
out. If he's shot me,he's shot me, And I don't want
to say he's shot me. ButI'm not gonna see here and lie.
I'm not gonna sit here and saythat this guy shot me when he didn't
shoot me. That's that's not cool, you know. And so I'm trying

(07:01):
to tell him my lawyer and Ilive the victim, he's saying these things,
and the deed's trying to make itseem like this guy is scared.
This guy's not scared. He hasno fearing and whatsoever. Like this guy
is still like basically living in thesame area. So if it was,
if he wasn't, if he wasscared, why would he still live there?
You know. So I'm telling thatthe lawyer like asked him all these

(07:25):
questions, and the fucking lawyer hedoesn't even ask him everything I asked him.
Ask you ask him no bullshit askquestions, you know, and doesn't
even really get to the point, you know it. Just looking at it,
looking back on it, I'm like, man, like this guy really
really was trying to fuck me over, Like there's no way around it,

(07:46):
you know, we just get itout, out right out and open,
no no, no care in theworld, not giving a fuck. After
the after the victim gets understand, they would get these officers again understand the
one that that was at the ambulance, right, so that one one of
them says, yeah, well theguy came. They brought back the suspect

(08:09):
and we put them in front ofthe ambulance and we shined the knights on
them. We opened up the doorsand we asked the victim, is that
him? And the victim says, you had him, that the motherfucker that
shot him, and that's alfuly testifiedto all this which is all a lie.
And there's another officer that did understand, which the gate I guess they

(08:30):
didn't really really think that this officerwas going to tell the truth. But
this officer did some stand and theyasked what did you see and the dude
said, well, we've seen I'veseen him. They put the guy in
the ambulance and they closed the doorsand then my noise, I will did
you ever see him open the doors? And like, no, I never
seen him open the doors. Soyou're saying that when the client, when

(08:52):
my client came, they didn't openthe doors. I didn't see him open
the doors. So this dude thesame basically like this is bullshit, like
Danniere open doors and they're pointing theknights on him. They never pointed him
out, you know. So thatofficer says that the other days and I
won't shit, I'm trying to cleanit up. I'm trying to clean it
up. And then he calls hecalls h the gun an expert, the

(09:15):
ballistics expert, and we're talking aboutthe bullet. You know, he's saying,
oh, hey, we'll live. Then we believe is from a bullet,
and we believe it could be fromforty ten millimeters or a forty millimeter.
What the bullet we don't know. There's no way for us to know
because we don't have the rest ofthe bullet. So this is just as

(09:37):
thinking, you know, And sothe days I won is it possible?
Is it possible that it's a fortyfour? And the dudes like, boll
anything's possible, you know, Yeah, it's possible, And then I won't.
Don't you think it's from forty four. I basically trying to tell the
dude, look, just say thatit's from the forty four. But the
guy's not saying that. The guyis basically saying that, look, man,

(09:58):
you're you're asking me to to comeup with the response when I don't
have all the evidence. I don'thave all the all the information, Like,
I can't do that. All Ican do is speculate, you know.
And they also found a shell piecingright at the in the street,
so that that brings up the shellpiecing. Well, what about the shell
piecing. There's a shell piecing here. Can't you can't you prove that this

(10:20):
little piece of fragment came from thisshell piecing, right, it's the same
and it They's like, no,I can't do that. This is an
apple, this is in the orange. I can't say that this is the
same thing. So it was kindof backfiring on. But mine attorney didn't
really take advantage of that. Sowe're in the middle. We're in the
beginning stages of this trial, youknow. And in the DA he already

(10:43):
put on he put on the victim, he put on the gay expert,
and he put on ballistics expert. The physical evidence that they found, which
was a little tiny piece of fragmentwhich they're saying was a bullet, you
know, but I don't know ifit was a bullet or not, but

(11:05):
it was a little tiny piece ofinside the truck floor boarding. So that
he's asking him, you know, can you tell us what this came from?
And experts like it live it couldpossibly be, you know, a
forty millimeter or a ten millimeter, but there's no way of knowing, you
know, And then the gigs like, well, is it possible that it

(11:28):
could be a forty four And theguy like, no, I can't tell
you that. You know, there'sthere's no way that this is an apple,
and this is an orange that Ican't compare to. After he gets
to that expert, and then hehas the officer that the saying the victim

(11:52):
identified me in an infield show up. So this officer gets on the stair
and he's talking about that he arrivedat the scene and there was two other
officers there that had pulled over thevictim. They had pulled them over,
they had dragged them out of thecar, they had laid them out on
the floor, and they were waitingfor the ambulance, and while they're waiting

(12:16):
for this ambulance, they're telling andthey're telling this guy, oh, you're
you're gonna die. You know,it looks all bad like that they're not
even trying to help this that they'renot they're not trying to do nothing for
this guy. They're just putting inhis headline, just say goodbye because you're
dead, you know, you know, because the victim typifies to this,
he says how these guys pretty muchtreated him and that they're trying to cover

(12:39):
them up with the sheet like basicallyit's a dumb dadda, you know,
not even trying to help him ornothing. So you know, they're sitting
there waiting for the emberance and it'staking forever. Even one of the other
witnesses had tipified that it took foreverfor the ambulance to get there. So
finally the embulance gets there and theyput them in the ambulance. So this

(13:01):
officer saying that when they pulled whenthe other officers pulled up with me in
the back seat, they opened upthe door and they pulled me out,
and that this officer shined the lighton me and he opened up the ambulance
doors, and he telled the linkedthem he is this him? Is this
the guy who shot you? Andthen he's seeing that the victim said,

(13:22):
yeah, let's him. Let's him. That's the motherfucker that shot me.
And then he closed the doors andthen the ambulance takes off. But this
is all a lie. This didnot occur, you know. This guy
never said it with me because therewas no They never opened up those ambulance
doors. And I was only therefor like two seconds from telling my lawyer,

(13:43):
you know, to ask him allthese questions to drop get him pop
in his locked you know. Sothe first thing is like, okay,
well how far away was you know, was my prayer? And how far
away was her foot amblers? Andthis guy saying it was about at least
twenty you know. And and thenhe's saying, okay, well what was

(14:03):
my career wearing? You know, like so at the time I didn't have
no shoot part that I have nothingright he's had my person. So he's
asked people how hause uh, youknow, what was the description given?
You know? And then he's like, oh, there was there was no
description, you know, So thisguy never they never even asked for a
description. They never even asked,Hey, what did this guy look like?

(14:26):
What what was he wearing like?According to them, you know,
they never asked, so they hadno clue. You know. Then my
lawyer, my lawyer tries to belike, okay, you got this guy
by himself right here, and you'retelling him, hey, we got the
guy. Let the guy. Letus know if Jim, you know,
so you're basically the canter and alreadyin simulating to him that he is that

(14:52):
he is the shooter. You know. So he's trying to he's trying to
you know, he's trying to getthis guy crossed up, trying to get
him caught up, you know. But honestly, I don't think it was
that good of a job. Man. I don't think he goes really like
hitting the point. So he onlyasked a few questions, that was it.
And even that was it. Hedidn't he didn't have no more questions.

(15:15):
He let it. He let itgo, you know. And in
my mind, I'm like, man, why why aren't this dude grilling him?
You know, like this is thisis the main guy, the main
reason why I'm in jail. Becausethis officer said that the victim pulled me,
me out, even though I hada lineup, and the victim didn't
pull me out, even though Iwent to the to the preliminary hearing,

(15:39):
the victim was there and he stilldidn't pull me out. He said,
no, that's not the guy whoshot me, you know. But everything's
resting on this officer's system, thisofficer alone, you know. And after
that there was another officer and hewas he had arrived after the fact.

(16:00):
Well know, this officer was theone that had that had pulled them over,
right, So this officer gets understandand this officer he made a statement
that he never saw the ambulance doorsget opened up. He never saw them

(16:21):
do the infield show off of them, of them shining the nine out on
me and all that. But hedoesn't make sense because there's only four officers
on the scene, right, soobviously they're all gonna have to see it.
Right. It's not it's not likethis big area with all kinds of
things. No, it's a littlestreet, right, So there's no way

(16:41):
that this officer could not have seenif it did happen. Right, So
this guy's understands saying, no,I don't I never saw that, right,
So he's basically kind of throwing hispartner under the bus, right,
He's he's going against what his partnerssaying, because you know, if he
really wanted to, he could havebeen right. No, yeah, yeah,
we did do that. We diddo a linemup and disteness, and

(17:03):
that he could have followed him toa t. You know, they fucking
rehearsed and got the store together. And but no, this dude didn't do
that. He said, no,I never saw that, you know.
So as he does that, youknow, I get a little bit of
hope, I'm like, man,you know, he's just gonna help him
out in my lord. You know, he goes and he asked some questions
as well, but it was poundlike basically wasn't even a lot of questions

(17:27):
the same thing, and they dismissit, like they dismissed him as a
witness. I think that was itfor them. You know, they only
only have like maybe five or sixwitnesses to follow the stand. So once
the DA rest his case, nowit's my term. You know, look,

(17:52):
tell the man no trouble. Idon't want to beach man. I
just want five big man like me. No need for the telephone high I
got too much getting online? Whowon't rule? The denim on the side,
ron't move. I bet they're gonnaride. No need for the telephone
hide nah, no need for theblues it big with my flight. I'm
cruising big chicken slide. No nosben better what y'all for the play?
And Juda says, don't ask them? Who would have? Says, I

(18:15):
bet they know where I'm moving.Then I bet I'll show we're into a
damn So the first thing my lorddoes is he calls the victim back,
you know at the days like wedon't mean, why are you coming to
the victim? You already had attemptto customs and him and all the neat
And then you know the lawyers thatwait a minute, you know that's my
ride. I could call him againnif ill onto. So the judge agrees,

(18:36):
He's like, no, he couldcall him again. So he calls
them, and you know he's askingthem more, more, more more,
trying to get more details out ofhim, and and basically like he said,
uh, the DA trying to makeit seem like this guy is a
hardcore game member, that there's noway that this guy's gonna testify and be

(18:59):
a snitch, because if he's asnitch, then he gets he gets green
lighted, and he's gonna get killed. So I'm telling my lawyer and I
look asking these kinds of questions becausewe need to establish that that's not true,
that that just because you're you cometo court and you're tell him something,

(19:19):
he doesn't mean that you're automatic he'sgonna die, and that you're you're
afraid that you're gonna get killed.Because every single day in Quart there's people
telling on other people, and thesepeople are not getting killed. So there's
all bogus bullshit that the day's tryingto put into the into the jury's learns
to get them scared, to getthem to think, oh, this is
a hardcore game member and he's he'sgot the ability to kill anybody at any

(19:44):
time, just you know what Imean, Like this bullshit. So the
victim gets understanding, he's like,no, I'm not afraid. He's like,
I'm not afraid. Like if thisguy shot me, then I'll get
up here and I'll say, hey, he shot me, but he didn't
shoot me, So why am Igonna get up here and say that he
shot me. He's like, that'sfucked up, like to put somebody in
that situation to send him to prison, and he didn't even do it.

(20:07):
So this guy, you know,he's trying to help me, like basically
saying, I know the saying him, if it was him, I got
no problemsoever getting up here saying it'shim. But it's not him, So
I'm not gonna do that, youknow. So my lawyer started asking,
Okay, well, how long haveyou lived in that area? And he
tells him, you know, he'she had lived there for like a year

(20:29):
already, and this trial is almosta year after the incident, right,
so this guy still lives there. So this guy's saying like, no,
I'm not afraid for my life. You know, I still live right there,
and I don't fear the gag becausethat's what they're trying to say,
that all the gang is gonna retaliateagainst him, you know that. So

(20:52):
this guy is afraid, he's afraidto speak, but the guys can't understand
saying no, that's not the truth. I'm not afraid at all. You
know, I'm here and the daythe day had said it before, I
am just by you being here, just by you being a court, doesn't
that put your life in injury?Doesn't that consci a snitch? And no

(21:14):
that I'm here and I'm not,I'm not afraid. I don't consider myself
a snitch. So when you're justtrying to, you know, bring all
that stuff right, Okay, soyou're not afraid, Okay, So tell
us, So what what what doyou remember like as far as the person
right that shot him? But thisguy's saying that he doesn't he doesn't know
what the guy was wearing like,He didn't see him. He didn't get

(21:37):
a good look because it was dark. And this guy's saying that he wears
glasses, he has prescription glasses.I think he said he's he's far sighted,
but I'm not sure how he's getthat mixed up. The far sighted
near sighted, but we basically hecan't see nothing that's far away from him.
So he said he didn't get hima good look at the guy's face.
He didn't know what the guy actuallylooked like, you know, So

(22:00):
he can't sit there and say, hey, this is the guy because he
doesn't remember what the guy looked like. He didn't get to see his face.
The kind of trying to establish allthis man like trying to get show
that it wasn't me, you know. So after the victim, my lord
calls. There was another guy therewith the victim. You know, he

(22:21):
was standing outside the truck, becausethe guy was inside his truck, sitting
in his truck when he got shot, and there was another guy outside of
the truck helping him part his truck. So this guy gets understand and he
says, he testifies saying that hesaw one person, the one person shoot

(22:44):
and he ran, he took offfronting when he's saying that he didn't see
the guy's face, you know, and this guy didn't give a description either,
So we're trying to get a descriptionout of him because in the police
report, one of the officers issaying that that this guy, the guy
that was outside, has said thatthe that the shooter was wearing a gray

(23:08):
sweatshirt, right, and me,I was wearing a blue jacket. And
you know, at the time Iwas working construct well, I was working
at a warehouse right, but rightbefore that, I was working at the
whites Coff construction. So because Iworked at the construction that had a blue
jacket that had reflectors so along myalong my sleeves. I had these reflectors,

(23:32):
right because I used to work atnight as well, so I had
that jacket and I was wearing thatjacket that night. So I was telling
my lord, like, that's that'ssomething that you don't forget like this,
it's easy to see that, likeyou know, you see the reflection,
you see the glimmery, like you'regonna remember that, you know. So
we're trying to get this guy toto to say what he supposedly told the

(23:56):
cops, right, but this guydoesn't really want to fame. He's like,
no, I don't I don't know. I didn't see anything that Just
as soon as as soon as Iheard the gun shot, I took off
running, you know, and hetook off. So he wasn't a whole
lot of help. It was.It was pretty it was pretty cool.
It was just a few questions andstuff, like the guy wasn't really trying
to talk. So after that this, uh, we end up getting them.

(24:23):
There's a there's a there's a witnessthat was that lived right on right
on Third Street. Her apartment, she had a balcony facing Third Street,
so she heard she had heard thesirens of officers, but she came out
to her balcony and she was endingher balcony, so she saw everything from

(24:45):
the very very beginning. She sawwhen the victim's truck got pulled over by
the officers. And she testifies that, you know, the officers hrew their
guns out and are telling them turningthe victim to get out the car,
but the victim wasn't getting him outof the car. The victim was was
telling him that he was injured. And so the costs approached the vehicle and

(25:10):
then they dragged the victim out. They threw him on the floor, laid
them on the floor, and hesaid that she said that she see him
like standing over here and topped tohim and she's saying it took forever for
the ambulance to come. So she'slike, yeah, and finally the ambulance
comes, you know, and shesaid she said that she's seen him like

(25:30):
he gets it, passed out onthe floor, you know. When then
when the ambulance came, she'd seenhim passed out. They picked them up,
they put him in the gurknee, they put him aside the ambulance doors,
and has had the ambulance and theyclosed the doors. She says that
they never opened those doors after theyclosed them the first time. They never
opened those doors. She sees whenthe police officers bring me to the scene.

(25:56):
She sees when they opened the doorand me, I kind of hop
out right and I take two littlehops. She testifies that, like,
yeah, I've seen him take liketwo little hops. He couldn't stand up,
and then he goes right back intothe car, close the boat and
they take off. So she testifiesthat that the concert line that there was
never in field show up. Thatnever happened, you know, So the

(26:22):
DA is basically like trying to tryingto make urmand back. Like. So
the only reason why this witness Kima Bow was because her husband was actually
in the county jail. He wasfighting uh also fighting a case of an
attempted murder. Uh. But thisguy right um, they had shot shot

(26:45):
up his car like uh they hitthey shot up his car with like assault
rifle, you know, so thathis whole car was straight up. They
were trying to kill this guy andhe ran over one of the guys that
were shooting him. So you know, he was sitting there fighting that case
even though he tried to kill him, and you know, for him to

(27:06):
get away, he ran the dudeover he was there for attempt to murder.
So we ended up meeting in thecounty and we're talking because he's from
the area, you know. Soyou're like, so you know that's that's
the number one thing when when you'rein the county jail, Like when you
introduce yourself, you say your nameand you say basically where you're from,

(27:29):
like the city you're from, andyou know where you kind of grew up.
So like, oh, yeah,I'm from Ronnebello, or from from
Mistela, or or from over here, from from the West Side or from
then you know what I'm saying,Like people tell each other where they're from.
Really, so you just gotta tellsme that, hey, man,
I grew up right there, likeI lived right there, and I can't
out, well, this is whatI'm busted for. He's like, oh,
what the hell, Like, hey, I remember that night man,

(27:52):
we were all on our balcony.Came and his wife. So he tells
me this, and he's like,I'm gonna have give me your lorder's in
full, and I'm gonna tell mywife to call him up. So she
did. But my lorder wasn't eventrying to get this person on her to
testify. Man like, this dudewas not even trying to like trying to

(28:15):
get her to come to court becausehe never followed up with her. He
didn't do nothing right, And well, luckily he's that guy told me like,
hey, man, your lorder, your lord's not even getting on my
girl. Like he's not even saynothing, you know. So he's like,
I told my girl to keep hittinghim up. So luckily, because
of her being persistent, she gotahold of his dude, and she was

(28:40):
able to come to court for me, you know. But other than that,
that lawyer would have tructed and wouldhave never called her as a witness.
You know. So she's there,right, and I said, she's
there. She's testifying to everything, you know. So now the now the
DIDs trying to make her look bad. She's like, well, the ded
and that wall isn't your husband andin jail at the moment. Isn't he

(29:00):
fighting a case right now? He'sin your husband a game member, so
basically trying to make her look manlike, oh, she's lying, you
know. So after that we tryto get I'm trying to tell my lawyer
to call to call the guy herhusband, you know. But he's like,

(29:22):
no, no, we don't wantto do that. That's gonna be
all bad. It's like, no, man, this guy's a witness.
This guy see that. I wanthim to come to court. Man,
I want him to see what hesaw. And I don't care if he's
a game member or what. Manlike that does not take away from from
what he saw, you know. But he refused. Man, if dude
would not, he would not callthis guy to testify, you know,

(29:45):
then then I wanted to get understand. And he's like, no, no,
no, we don't. We don'tget understand. Don't get understand.
Like you don't, you don't gottado that. It's just gonna it's just
gonna be all bad. And I'mlike, I'm not worried about that,
man, I'm not worried about whatthe Dean's gonna ask me. I'm not
worried about none of that, becauseI don't know. If I can't understand,

(30:06):
I'm gonna tell the truth. Andif you tell the truth, if
you're not gonna get caught up innothing. You know what I'm saying.
It's gonna come out every time. It's gonna be right, because that's the
truth. People that tell lies theyget caught up in their lives because they
forget their lives. They don't knowwhat they're talking about. So they're gonna
cross you up. Man, They'regonna cross you up. So that's what
he was worried about. But thisdude didn't believe in me from the dead

(30:26):
man, Like I got that rightaway from it, Like he didn't believe
me. He was like he didn'tgive it. He really didn't care.
Man. So even though I wastrying to testify, like he was like
no, no, no, andI fucked up. You know, I
regret it. I wish I wouldhave gotten miss stand. I wish I
would have testified on my behalf, you know because now you know, I

(30:48):
going back and thinking about it.You know, you infect that man,
you wish you would have spoke upfor yourself. I should have, man,
But I listened to this fucking dumbman's lawyer, so he didn't call
me. He calls, uh,we get we get an expert, right,
a ballistic expert. And this dudeis basically going against what the other

(31:11):
guy said. Like look, awhole with the whole, with the whole,
uh, with the whole bullet andall that, because they try to
make it seem like they try tochange it up and say that it would
it could be a forty four, you know, because they have found some
forty four bullets, so they tryto make it seem well, it must
be a forty four, you know. So these guys didn't understand the saying

(31:34):
and trying to go against what they'resaying. I look this what what you
originally said, or that it couldbe a temillimeter fortyimeter like that, that's
more accurate. All of a sudden, you guys want to change it all
because it's not what you what youwant, you know, so you want
to change it to what you want, and that you can't do that,

(31:55):
you know, this is what itis. So this guy testifies and then
um, I think that was it? Man, there was there was really
there was really no and told thefans know nothing like this guy really didn't
didn't have much, man, Andlike I said, if I wouldn't have
pushed him for that other witness, there would have been nothing. There would

(32:16):
have just been just the victim andthat one guy and then the expert and
that would have been it. Man. So now we're now we're in the
closing arguments. So you know, the DA gets up there first, and
the DA does his whole speech andhe's like, he's like, oh,

(32:37):
you guys need to find him guiltyand all. And he's like, even
if you don't believe that he isthe shooter, even if you don't think
that he shot the gun, andhe he he shot at this guy.
Well he was a driver, soso he should still come at them for
aiding in the betting because he wasdriving the car. So if it was

(33:00):
in him, then there was theother guy. So he's still guilty.
And then he also said, well, you guys need to find him guilty
no matter what, because you guysneed to send them send a sign to
do these gang members that you're notgonna take it no lawer. So even
if he's not guilty of this,he's guilty, he's guilty of something.

(33:20):
So you guys need to send thesign against these games. You know that
you're fighting back, that you're takingyour community back. And you know,
he did this whole big, bigspeech man, and then he even said,
oh, his lawyer, his lawyerdoesn't even have no defense, Like
his lawyer didn't even do nothing. His lawyer doesn't even believe he's innocent.
His lawyer's not even fighting for him, you know. And that she hit

(33:44):
me man, that she hit meout, like fuck, you know,
that's it's true. It's fucking bullshit. And his lawyer didn't be left before
me, you know. And thenmy mind and I'm like, shit,
if I was in the jury,I'll be believing everything in the DA saying
because his defense had nothing really, you know, you know, so after

(34:07):
his closing arguments, my lawder getson, Yeah, my lawyer's whole thing
was My lawyer's whole entire defense wasall. You can't you can't rely on
on the victim. You can't relyon on the victim. You can't rely
on on on this testimony. Andin my mind, I'm like, one

(34:29):
thing are you talking about that? She doesn't even make no sense. You
know, he's just saying, ohthe passers, and he said one thing,
and he comes court he says nothing. I'm like, that doesn't even
make any sense. Man, Likeyou should be saying like, yeah,
you should trust you should really haveon the victim because he's the victim.
He was the one that went through. Like he's just sitting here in the

(34:49):
court and saying that it wasn't him, that he's not the shooter, that
he never saw him to do that, so he's not gonna cessify it against
him. But no, he didn'tdo that. He just said, oh,
he's unreliable, And I'm like, how the fuck does that make any
sense? You know, And that'shis closing argument. Then that's it voted
deliberations. Now we're in deliberations, you know, and it's taking. It's

(35:16):
taken a while, you know. And they always say, hey, if
the longer it takes, the better, because that means that they're fighting,
that somebody's in there fighting for you. You know. So a day passes
no news, the second day passesno news, third day passes, they're

(35:36):
asking the jury has a question. So we all go into the courtroom,
like, okay, what's the question. The first question is can you read
back the testimony from the officer andfrom female witness, right, So they
want to hear that again. Theywant to hear the female saying that that

(35:58):
lineup never happened, that those doorsnever opened, And they also want to
hear the officer saying the same thingwhere he's saying he never saw those doors
open. So then they go backand they come back again with another question
and they're asking, well, howdo we determine if we should believe the
officer of who should believe to thevictim? You know, And then they

(36:22):
go back, and then the nextday they come again and the juror,
one of the jurors, she hasa complaint. She comes out and she's
telling the judge and she's like, she's telling the judge that all the other
jurors are trying to intimidate her, trying to force her to vote their way,

(36:47):
trying to say that she's a criminaland that she's letting outside influences determine
her vote, and you know, all this or so, she feels like
they're harassing her and are trying toforce her to vote guilty. That she
she she tells it does like, look, I'm doing exactly what you told
me to do. He told meto take the thanks in this case and

(37:12):
to come up with my own withmy own whether I whether I believe he's
guilty or not. And she's like, look this this da he talks a
good story, you know, buthe's not showing me. No everyboding,
everything he's saying is circumstantial. There'sno power, there's nothing here that there's
no gun, there's no eye witness, there's nothing for me to say that

(37:34):
this guy is guilty. He's like, She's like, well, why should
I believe the officers? You knowwhen the officers are can can are known
to lie and loan to be corruptivelistener. So it's like, I'm doing
what I'm supposed to be doing. And the judge the DA like, oh,
your honor, we need to removethis this jurord. This juror's now

(37:58):
following the instruction's like she's she's lettingoutside in fro like this gig is trying
hard to get this juror kicked off. But the judge is like, wait
a minute, No, she's doingwhat she's supposed to be doing. She's
not doing nothing wrong, you know, So I'm not going to kick her
off, So go back and deliberate. So again they go back to deliberations,

(38:19):
you know, and then again theycome out. She says it again,
like no, they're trying to they'realway here harassing me and this and
this and that, Like I mean, I think, just imagine how tense
it wasn't that in that jury room, you know, because at this time,
I think it was like right beforeThanksgiving or right during Thanksgiving. I
remember it was November twenty twenty secondor twenty three or twenty fourth, somewhere

(38:45):
around there. It was. Itwas right right at the time of Thanksgiving.
So I could already imagine all thesepeople they want to go home,
They don't want to be there. They probably had already made up their mind
from the very beginning, like ohthey do the game, remember them guilty?
Who cares? But there's the ladieslike, no, no, man,
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna dothat. Like I've heard all the

(39:07):
all the testimony, I heard allthe evidence, and I don't believe it.
So she's sticking to her ground, you know. So again, you
know, the d is trying tokick her off, and it's like,
no, I'm not keeping off.You know, go back to deliberate.
So now we're on the fifth day. You know, there's five days deliberations.

(39:28):
This is long, man, Likeyou're I'm in the tank all day
long. Like I say, weget like through in the morning, from
two in the morning to like eighto'clock to night. I'm in these tanks,
man, and so this ship isdreaming, but I still kind of
have hope. I'm like, man, it's good, it's good. You
know. It's taking long, likeI'm gonna get some good news, you

(39:50):
know. But on the fifth day, the d the das saying like,
oh, they let them keep going, let them keep going, let them
keep going, right, But thejudge is like, no, that's enough,
man, it's been fight days. They ain't gonna come up with the
United's position. I'm gonna call ita miss trial. And the Dad's like,
no, no, no, givehim some more time. Come on,
let's give him some more tournament. And there's like, nope, that's
it, man, mis trial. So I was here, I got a

(40:12):
hung true, how you hating myvibe? Why you wasting my time getting
hype on my line? Tell theman, I don't want feedback. I
just want to relax, brand newwith you tone. I need that brand
new hit, you know, likeleaning back, brand new bits I live
and we're back. Man. Younever gonna lie cusin get them on fighting.
I let him on like that waythey know we're gonna ride fig up
my life. I'm living on right. I'm nice, you know. I'm
gonna ride looking like Tricee. Noneed for the hype or fight or telephone

(40:36):

light. I don't want some tomove to Friday. I want
