about the book is the best book ever written, which
I really like. Wow, thank you so much. So, guys,
(02:43):
let me start the show today. I'm so excited about
this one. All right, guys, today we're gonna focus on
a real conversation that I had with the CEO. He
runs a twenty five million technology company with three hundred employees,
so li's for just for let's call him Frank.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Frank.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
So when I looked at him on zoom call we're
talking back and forth, he looked tired.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
We'n out.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Just just more physically emotionally beat up.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
You know.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And then Frank lean for it, he said, you know,
doctor him and I SA seen then closing new deals.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
The culture of my company is really toxic.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
And honestly, I don't think I should I should step
down as being CEO. I'm not a good leader. I'm
better working alone. But really I love is more finance.
I'd rather be the CFO. For the business to scale,
(03:48):
we need I need a strong leader, and I looked
at him. I said, you know, Frank, and it takes
a strong person to admit when you're not in the
right role. And that's exactly why you need the business MRI.
That is the gateway of growth. Because I told him,
(04:10):
I said it worked with many CEOs and many C suites.
Sometimes they shouldn't be in their position, but they stand
there because of ego. For you're telling me that this
is not your position. You just took it because your CEO.
You need to get a new one. I said, man, congratulations.
So here's what I did, was I said, Man? I said, Frank,
(04:31):
let me break down. Let me break down what we
call is the sixth logical steps of neuro Linguistic programming.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Right.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
It says, before I analyze any business, I start with
analyze the human systems behind it. Because business don't grow,
leaders do.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
So.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
At first, I told them, so the six steps is
the six levels.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Is Number one environment what surrounding you in your office?
Speaker 1 (05:02):
And the culture and the team dynamics, what behaviors, What
are they doing every day that that's driving or destroying
the momentum. I told him to take a mental thing
and to write this stuff down. I said, what skills
(05:23):
and tools or systems are missing. And I told him
beliefs and value And I says, what you believe about leadership,
money and success?
Speaker 2 (05:40):
And I said identity? Who are you?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Who do you think you are? Are you a leader?
Are you a visionary? Or in friend case he's not
a good CEO?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
And purpose?
Speaker 1 (05:54):
What's the mission behind the business and why that drive everything?
I told Franks these questions that most CEOs and most
business owners don't even ask themselves. A lot of times
they get inside business, are passionate about it, they jump
into it, but they don't know what's actually going on.
(06:14):
I said, well, these questions, then I will put a
frame around this to make sure that we actually taking place.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
And I said that these are the levels of misalign.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Your business become not working in the right way.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
That's why you have the toxic culture.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
We have burnout, we have missing cells, we have weak systems,
but they're not aligned, and the business become unstoppable. So
I said, but my outcome is to make everything aligne
so once you have a business as thrive and then
(06:58):
what I explain is to them.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
The MRI gateway of growth.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
That's why we actually created during the six hours of
that we actually give you. It's a deep dive into
into the symptoms of your business. So we focus on
we uncover the hidden profits. We assess the leadership and culture.
We analyze yourselves process. We examine your mental health. If
(07:31):
it's if you have addictions or any type, we focus
on it.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Do you have a burnout?
Speaker 1 (07:38):
We focus on how to actually rewire your system so
we can show you.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
How to become the best of the best.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
With my team, we have a combined one hundred and
fifty years of neuroscience and mental health helping leaders transform
confusion into clarity or what I say, confusion in the
cash and frustration and the focus. And I said, Frank,
this is why I created what I call is the
(08:09):
BSSM model. So I said, Frank, and I used to
work mental health, and when I was working at the
time back in two thousand and iche, we had to
do some for and that was pretty much diagnosis more
of the mental health charges that's going on, if it's
depression or bipolari, schizophrenic, the whole nine yards. The reason
(08:30):
why the couple reason, I didn't like the idea of
something for anything else. I don't want to label a
client or create that I didity and that's who you are.
There's a couple of things. I'm a little bit, but
I liked the model of it because it explained to
me what's going on. So when I did this for
this book and the business part of it, I liked
it so much. And the B stand for the business
(08:51):
and the foundation, the structure, the strategy, and how to
scale your business.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Your like scalability.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
So what I tell people I'm more of I'm not
the architecture of your business. I'm a civil engineer. I
look at the structure of the business. I look at
how you lay down the foundation. I do the nasty work.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
But when I do the nasty work the right way,
you got a stronger foundation. Does that make sense yes
or yes? Beautiful.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Then we focus on the symptoms of a business. Most
people don't hit the symptoms. They want to scale the
business and scale the business. But if you don't deal
it to symptoms, your business can't scale. So we focus
on first leadership. If you have a weak leadership, you
gotta have a weak business. I don't care if you
have a great product or service, anything else doesn't make
a difference.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Your leadership have to be skilled. We focus on the culture. Right.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
So the leadership chapter that was done by that was
Carl Scott. Carl he was he was my mentor and
Carl Scott, I was my mentor in mental health back
in the day.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
He got like fifty plus years experience of being a CEO,
a COE and.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
He pretty much what's the chapter on leadership, great phenomenal chapter,
the chapter on culture. I had uh a good friend
of mine, Uh Scott, a doctor Conway.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
That's the gentleman I told you about sixty five books.
So m a grand master. He's a pastor, you know,
and he's a lawyer, you know. So I say he
can sue you, he can beat you up, and he
can be and he can put.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
You in jail. Right.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
But the good thing about Scott is Scott walks his
talk and he used what we call the o'hanaway about
leadership about the culture, and the same o'hanoway. Salesforce use
the exact same process. So it's pretty jazzed about that.
So we focus on team building, the seven steps building
up ah a powerful team.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
And that's not not at least mental health.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
We focus on Okay, you know, we're gonna deal with
people who have mental health issues?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
How do you deal with them? What do you do?
What what takes place? Right? And we focus on listening
to me, is there any addictions going on?
Speaker 1 (10:53):
What's taking place, and what's the red flags and how
we can actually move forward. So we hit on the
symptoms pretty hard. But then we systemize your business. When
we systemize in three areas time management, we have to
have the right time sales. We have to work with
some companies. Some people are doing thirty thousand for sales.
Some people are doing five same products, same services, why
(11:14):
and not the right sales? And the other one is
educational marketing. We have you become the expert. When I
used to work for Tony Robinson shut homes back in
the day for about almost a decade, they used to
put on this thing called business Mastery, which they do
today still they'll have a thousand people come on and
spending fifteen thousand dollars for five days.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Now, you don't do that unless you are the expert. Right.
But the cool thing about it, out of those thousand people's.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Eighty percent of them, eighty percent of them want to
coaching our consultant. Why because they want to be educated.
They wanted to have the they want to have the edge.
They wanted to have some they want to have the
X factor. The X factor is they wanted some tools
and strategies to actually help them change the business.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
And last, but not least, we monetize. This is when we.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Uncover between five from between a half million four million dollars,
depends on how big your company is. Now, if your
company is like million or two, we can probably do
about a half million to a million. If your companies
you know, you know, ten twenty five to thirty million.
Of the company that we just talked about, you know,
we we found them with gobs of money. We found
them like, you know, over four million dollars, you know, easy, Right,
(12:28):
So it depends on what size your company is. But
I'm the minimum at least five hundred if you be
in the business for at least two years, right, so
so and we guarantee that, you know, so, this model
is not theory. This this is is tested and from
CEOs exactly of high growth entrepreneurs across the multiple industries.
(12:50):
And this was the same system that we used when
I was working for the Titans. Come to Titans, you know,
the CHET Holmes, Uh, Jay Abraham and the Tony Robbins
and stuff. You know these was pretty much covered by
the Tidans. Right, So here's what we do. It's gonna
break down what we're gonna find in the MRI. We're
to focus on what we call what I call profit stations.
(13:11):
You know how people say you need a multiple streams
of income, same concept. It's about a proversation inside your business.
How can we have eight or nine.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Different streams with income inside your business and we will
help you create that.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
That then covers about that about between a half million
to four million dollars right there, right, depends on how
big the companies. Then we focus on the leadership and
the culture, and we do a diagnosis of you know,
in the leadership part, if they're if they're a destructive,
if they're neutral, or if they're effective leadership. Everybody thinks
they're effective, but it's interesting when we go with the
(13:45):
assessment to figure out what a teams up. Then we
focus on the mental health, right, and then we focus
on the team building and we and then we measure
everything by the performance that we folcus on the life
cycle of a business.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Where are you at are you.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Could be in maturity stages ages personally, but your business
could be just started up, So it could be a startup,
or it could be in birth, it could be in
terrible toos trying to find their own identity.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
And we and we figure out where you guys are at. Right,
then we match the stages.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
What's your business with your personal a stage of growth?
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Right?
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Then we focus on what we call is the cogs. Right,
we focus on reducing the cots and most of the
times we can reduce it between fifteen and thirty three percent.
So if someone have merchant account shipping, they have insurance,
have we have over fifteen hundred items that we actually
look at so we can actually and we will help
you renegotiate the whole thing for you.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Pause, are you doing it?
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Some of you guys have these people who are your
friends for ten thousand years and they charge you four
or five six times much money. We take that, We
actually take what we're doing and we renegotiate and we
save you money.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Does our Does that make sense? Yes? Or yes? Beautiful?
And then I told Franca says, listen to me.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Once the uh wonders, once the MRI is completed, Well, well,
we'll create what we cause a profit funder and I
I t told you the we were renegotiate everything about it.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Your marching.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Your insurance could about fifteen hundred's categories expenses right normally
say between fifteen thirty three is percent. But then what
and then what we'll do with the savings that you
have out in most cases not to pay for culture.
So the cool thing about it is when you when
you go for all this stuff, you don't really have
(15:43):
to pay because why.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Because we do this stuff, cause we do the things.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
We do it for you, right cause with the savings
of that you get normally pays some culture that you
actually have. And when I told Frank this man he
laying back, He's like, oh my god, thank you.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
You know, he says, that's really cool. Right. But then
that is the power of the MRI. It's a win win.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
You gain clarity, you go from confidence, the cash flow,
your team gains alignment, your and then your business gain
as well. Within twelve months, we we normally double a company,
but depends on how big it is. You know, if
(16:29):
the companies you know, twenty five to thirty million dollars,
even if we put a you know, twenty to twenty
five PERCID in it, you know, twenty five to fifty
in the first year.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
That's really still great.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
If it's a bigger company, might take a little bit
longer time, twelve to eighteen months, right, But a lot
of times people are not doing stuff right, and people
not doing the right things right, and they're not tapping
inside that seat of greatness, you know. And that's why
I called the MRI the gateway of growth. And the
MRIs stand for money, revenue and and you innovation, right,
(17:07):
So here it goes, guys, here's the truth. Every month
you wait, the hidden profits are leaking out of your company.
That money could be funded your leadership team, your innovation,
your freedom. Don't keep leading in silence. The business MRI
(17:35):
is the first step to clarity, leadership, and unlimited business growth.
So you guys have if you guys interests, messages me,
contact me. Links are on the thing. If not, you
know the doctor John doctor johnalda dot com we can
actually talk. Then if you like this podcast, pass it
(17:59):
on the side. I passed on the five business owner.
I want to get this thing out out in the open.
And by the way, if you guys are parents, right,
what you guys are We do have a parenting teen
podcast as well. That podcast is pretty cool as well,
as we work on parenting issues and teen issues same
(18:22):
pretty much concept, storytellering, per se, give you feedback, give
you strategies and the whole nine yards. Right, So that's
so that podcast is called the Doctor's Corner. Well doctor
John nottle right, And and as you guys, you guys
are real as I've been in the Minto's foot for
thirty eight years with neuroscience the same time, and I
(18:43):
did business growth for the last thirty years. So the
business side, I focus on business, on business mastery meet neurosciences,
and I created a new science called neurow Business condition
that's been much how to grow all the all the companies.
For the family side, I created another program called Narrow
(19:05):
Family is Condition and where we have crazy is resource
as well.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
So listen to me. I'm jazzed. Thank you so much
for your time.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Passes along, guys, remember five stars until next time, take care, blessings,
bye for not
