La película, adaptación de un cortometraje del mismo título que estuvo nominado al Goya en 2023, cuenta la historia de una pareja en la que él es oyente y ella Sorda. Cuando la protagonista se queda embarazada, le asaltan no sólo los miedos que podría tener cualquier madre primeriza, sino tambien la duda de si el bebé nacerá oyente como su padre o sordo como ella.
