1Q: Dan Gilbert Makes a Change

Cavs lost embarrassing game to Lakers, with LA only able to continue play thanks to an obscure rule that let them have 5 men on court, though one had fouled out.

The next day, Dan Gilbert fired GM Chris Grant but kept Coach Mike Brown.

This is just another in a line of confusing statements by Gilbert since he’s been owner.

He ranted after Lebron left in 2010. He wrote a letter to the Commissioner trying to prevent the Chris Paul trade to the Lakers (saying every other team would just be the Washington Generals). Now he says he has confidence in these players and this Coach (who were acquired by Grant).

Don’t drink the water in Cleveland. We have two teams now that have been described as “toxic”.

2Q: Sochi and the Olympics

Why was Sochi awarded the games? They weren’t ready.

The city's preparedness is a sad state of affairs.

3Q: NorthEast Ohioans at the Olympics

4Q: Indians in arbitration

1st time Indians went to arbitration since 1991 (Greg Swindell and Jerry Browne).

Vinnie Pestano lost his case and will have to make “only” $975,000 this season.

Josh Tomlin is next on Friday. Tomlin is seeking $975,000, while the Indians are offering $800,000.

Michael Brantley is on Feb. 17 and Justin Masterson on Feb. 20.
