Speaker 5 (06:29):
Okay, thou hast saved my life, O Tarzan and the Apes.

There are few of the outer world who have ever

He uses that level to.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Slod the cave, not to make a call.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
What power is the ko chat garrow at this speed?

Speaker 5 (07:27):
At the end of these copper rails, on the rim
of tuan Backer there is a great stone. The most
ancient writings of our priests mentioned the stone. It has
been their scores of entires.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
And what name do you give to this great rock?

Speaker 5 (07:41):
It is called the stone which.

Speaker 6 (07:43):
Has the power to pull all I have been around
this world prencis.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
But they never chase hutch a stone.

Speaker 8 (07:50):
You have very likely hit upon the answer Larssen.

Speaker 14 (07:53):
This stone is not a dessert.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Probably it is a meteorite.

Speaker 10 (07:57):
We say, sat home what the Anglish calls a load stone.

Speaker 7 (08:02):
Mis carving sheeeese deny and is attracted by the magnetic
pull of that stone up there. Hakkiru breaks the car
to keep it from leaving rails. Is that not right, Hakiu?

Speaker 3 (08:12):
It is so a cantone, glistening in the sunlight like
some giant prehistoric silver colored beetle. The bulky conveyance rushes
up the smooth side of Kuenbaka at the breathtaking speed. Presently,
the outline of the great meteorites can be clearly seen
hundreds of tons of black rocks balanced on the rim
of the volcano. As they near the top, Hakiu pulls

(08:34):
back on the level with all his strength, slowly, as
if reluctant to stop. The huge car quivers. The clanking
wheels turns slow. The passive coach comes to a halt.
The Hesi Herians climb out, followed by Tarzan and his friends.

(08:56):
They skirt a huge meat right and approach the inner
rim of the volcano. Far below them, on the floor
of the crater of Tuenbaka lies the forbidden city of
our share.

Speaker 9 (09:07):
How beautiful lacky city.

Speaker 7 (09:11):
Of green bimon Magra.

Speaker 10 (09:13):
The vegetation the entire valley is as green green as
a flashing emerald.

Speaker 8 (09:18):
But the large building in the center of the city
Akiru that.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Ho Taizan is the sacred temple of mar Schu, father
of diamonds.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Oh Dutch bad.

Speaker 12 (09:28):
Do you see, dar?

Speaker 8 (09:29):
Know how perfectly the city is oriented.

Speaker 15 (09:32):
Each street runs exactly north and south or east and west.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
I share is the city of wisdom, of happiness, content.
But we tarry over long.

Speaker 11 (09:41):
Come follow me another car, This one takes us down
to the city.

Speaker 15 (09:46):
I suppose if the meteorite pulled us up, how will
this other car take us down against the pull of
the stone.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
You will learn presently at Anton.

Speaker 9 (09:54):
Look the area is completely encircling the low stone.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
And here comes an old fowl pushing a flat car.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
What is that on it? It's like the biggest piece
of crystal I ever saw.

Speaker 10 (10:05):
Begin to ah, my Tom, it is the answer to
your question. You see that must be a gigantic sheet
of non conducting quartz, or as Wolf says, chrystal placed.

Speaker 7 (10:16):
Between a meteorite and the car.

Speaker 10 (10:17):
The load stone cannot exert then its power if we
we coast down the inside of the crater.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Even so, and now enter the salute. We descend.

Speaker 8 (10:40):
With the speed of an arrow.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
The great carless burdens, slides down topper rail. All the
captive parties save towsands with their wooden benches to the
knuckles of their hands fit to top skin. A last
ear spilling shriek of the Kumsi breaks, and the journey

(11:01):
to the forbidden city of Mystery our share is ended.
Without a word of command from their leader. The white
plaid warriors form a hollow square around Tarzan and his companions.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Come Mo Tarzan and the apes through the Temple of
mar Shue.

Speaker 7 (11:20):
Wonderfully beautiful city.

Speaker 10 (11:22):
Indeed, button Mundie, may, where are they inhabitants? I see
no one in these streets.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
The populace must remain within their hose until you have
audienced with suiten of hessi hair.

Speaker 7 (11:33):
See those copper plates at the street intersections. Down above
each one is a small death head and mask.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
I saw those long ago. Won't these people know how
to carve anything else?

Speaker 11 (11:45):
I thought you were chans and paria, fine street, Donald,
I can't compare with.

Speaker 9 (11:49):
This the strange exhaustic trees, those ruling capital grass. Oh, yes, tas,
and it is.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
Wonderful these houses behind the walls, they are white marble.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
If wonder red graded.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
That temple bell coming to Ain't white marble it's black.
Black is the shades of Abado.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
And build in the shape of the pyramid, but bend
that on top of it.

Speaker 9 (12:10):
See how it shine looks like a great bull of
bernist Kop.

Speaker 10 (12:13):
It is just that magra exactly moved. But what its
object is I do not know.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
Tarzan of the Apes, I have made a vow to
aid thee, and so I shall sou ten the great

our share. We are sufficient unto ourselves. That is why
the few who know of us name I share the
forbidden city. Answer me with truth upon thy tongue. Come
ye here for plunder or solely in search of your friends.

Speaker 11 (12:41):
We came because we believed Helen Gregory and her brother
were here for no other reason.

Speaker 8 (12:46):
And Tarzan does not lie.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
It is well I shall intercede for ye at the
feet of Suten.

Speaker 16 (12:52):
Look at don't torch it at temple solid coppert They
must be twenty feet wide, and price is high.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Listen that paint sing.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Ought ye hear strangers slowly majestically the mighty copper doors
swing open, who by some unseen force louder swells the
minor primitive wail, a chant of many voices.

Speaker 14 (13:20):
Tarzan Andy's friends pause. They stare into the face of
hockey room.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
The blood drains from the Hezhelia Noble's countenance, leaving it
as if cast in.

Speaker 14 (13:29):
The mold of ivory.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
He turns slowly to meet the questioning gaze of Tarzan.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
It is the chant of death. Mahachu, the father of diamonds,
demandeth the sacrifice of human blood.

Speaker 12 (13:52):
What is it a table?

Speaker 5 (13:54):
The chant of death, o Tarzan. It is sung for
thee and thy companions, the offer to march Shoe at
the beginning of the moon. But because my life is nine,
I shall intercede for the and I friends with the
attefs to ten. Come follow me into the temple of
march Shoe.

Speaker 9 (14:12):
What is the matter with Wolf Tarzan? He steers into
space as watching something.

Speaker 11 (14:17):
Woo h oh oh, yeah yea toss that I I
am coming.

Speaker 9 (14:24):
Do Tan, How those great doors open before us?

Speaker 7 (14:28):
It must be done by machinery.

Speaker 10 (14:30):
Wait onm you hear that dull ratchet sound. No ten
men could move those massive doors. It's been spooky in here.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
Those little blue lamps don't give much light, even if
there been plenty of them.

Speaker 9 (14:44):
We are approaching any other creek to Ratan, I.

Speaker 5 (14:48):
Don't you hear strangers? You stand before the portal of
the Chamber of Heads and the throne of the attefs
to ten Shane. You let sima tabu tasten a gem
ah a. Strangers from the outer world await night pleasure.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
O av you hear Tom.

Speaker 10 (15:06):
He repeats in English what he says in his own tongue.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
He been talking to Sun.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
Run behind that door.

Speaker 12 (15:11):
No steady, all of you, this is no worse than
no pardar him.

Speaker 8 (15:17):
Enter the chamber.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
The Council of thirteen oklasan any.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yell as the pond restaurant's barrier slowly opens. The little
party let a hockey room crosses the threshold. Before them
spreads a vast chamber, illuminated by countless small golden lamps,
giving out a blue, eerie light. A forest of mighty
stone columns support a high, deeply shadowed ceiling. In the

(15:43):
center of this immense chamber, at the edge of a
deep pit, a large casket of white marble rests upon
the stone floor. Beyond the great pit is a great
black marble altar, supporting upon its top a glittering copper
knife on a raised platform against the far wall, and
reclimbing upon a high backed stone seat. A man, tall,

(16:06):
black haired, handsome watches the approach of Tarzan and his
friends with sinister.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Unwinking eyes.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Beside him sits a woman, cold, haughty, cruelly beautiful. At
a sign from haki Rou, the man and his companions
halt at the foot of the dais.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
Wakhi kai Katan haki Rou correct sheetuaki ah teh.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Because this man, who calls himself Tarzan of the Apes,
and these others speak only the language of Anglo Land.
I address the osu ten, and I Queen Tira, daughter
of the Sun.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
In their tongue tis well Hakrou. Whence come these strangers?
What seek they hear? Let him who is.

Speaker 11 (16:55):
Their leader speak speak o Tailand we come from the
jungles in search of friends, when we believe we're hell
captive and our share.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
He come here for the same purpose that others have come.
He covert my shoe, the father of diamond.

Speaker 8 (17:10):
Keep your father of diamonds. You're not interested in it.

Speaker 12 (17:14):
So.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
You think he shall be permitted to go. Hence from Ushair,
as he came of course, why not? May have the
Counsel of thirteen have other plans for you.

Speaker 11 (17:27):
If Brian Gregory and his sister Helen are not here,
then we'll go back to our own country.

Speaker 8 (17:31):
Sutan at top of.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
The Hessi hair alone commands in ushair. If it be
decreed that you return to the outer world, so ye
shall take them away.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
They are to be treated as prisoners, O su ten.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Say, rather as our guests go away with them?

Speaker 5 (17:53):
My word, Oh su ten is law.

Speaker 8 (17:56):
Come O Tarzan, lead on Oka R. We'll follow.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Well, Lieutenant, we've been in bad picts. This time things
don't look so good, but we are still alive and together.

Speaker 12 (18:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Sure, but for how long?

Speaker 9 (18:11):
Thing hidden?

Speaker 12 (18:11):
Be?

Speaker 9 (18:12):
Almost out of this chairry place? Did you see the
eyes of that woman at hand? Maybe my blood run cooled.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
In that chamber across the corridor. You shall await the
decree of Sutan in his council. I shall intercede for
THEE and I friends Otars.

Speaker 11 (18:29):
And I am not worrying about that. I'm thinking of
our lost friends. I cannot help THEE with them. But
here is thy chamber.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
Enter I turned soon and bring you word from the
console pace to the Otars and.

Speaker 12 (18:48):
Abien.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
At least we have not been separated, nor have our
weapons been taken from us.

Speaker 8 (18:54):
For a present.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
This ain't so pray so bad? Those stone benches.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
Around have alls been covered with shaft looking kings the first.

Speaker 8 (19:01):
And I suggest that we all lie down and rest
while we can.

Speaker 9 (19:04):
Are you not worried?

Speaker 12 (19:06):
Tsan?

Speaker 8 (19:07):
Worried? What about about?

Speaker 9 (19:09):
What will happen to us?

Speaker 11 (19:11):
It isn't time to worry, Margaret. They'll have to take
us out of here sometime. When they do, we'll make
a run for it.

Speaker 7 (19:20):
You are still willing to share with me and the
father of diamonds.

Speaker 12 (19:23):
That's what I'm here for.

Speaker 7 (19:25):
There is it? You saw the white casket beside the
pit in there? What else could be in such a casket?
It is their ceremonial chamber, that great hall. It must
be in there. The casket is the logical place for it.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
And how do you propose to get out of here
into that big hall?

Speaker 7 (19:43):
Lave that to me. I shall open the doors, and
I don't but do not go to sleep on a
better How do you know? Don't mind? How I know
by opening this door we'll probably wake in the others.
We must be outside with the door closed before they
can follow. What are we waiting for?

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Look Magra, Donald Larsten dead to the world.

Speaker 7 (20:05):
Already, I not get it over it asan he may
be a sleep, but not soundly enough.

Speaker 12 (20:12):
What about those.

Speaker 10 (20:14):
Apes a Kiro told us about, you know, the Guardian apes,
to be mixed with them.

Speaker 7 (20:20):
It is the chance we must take if we expect
to get the diamond. They are probably kept in the
pit beside the casket. We must stay clear of it.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Let's get started in if you know how to open
the doors.

Speaker 7 (20:32):
Wasting time, I think we can now no weapons other
than our pistols rifles will be in the way.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
Come cautiously, the two men leave their couches. They advance quickly,
silently to the bronze door. Tom examines the granite blocks
of the wall, presses lightly against one. The low clicking
sound which accompanies the movement of these strange barriers is
heard throughout the silent chamber. Larsen grumbles in his slumber.

(21:00):
Pome and Wolf stand tense watching the apparently soundly sleeping
ape man. As the heavy portal swings slowly open, they
step quickly out into the dimly lit corridor.

Speaker 14 (21:10):
Tom presses another stone and As.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
The heavy barrier closes behind them with a soft metallic clang,
Tarzan sits up, reaches over and lays a hand lightly
on Darnaul's shoulder.

Speaker 17 (21:20):
Eh kiss kiyoshh quiet, Come with me, Oh, don't do
but I no questions, no time now hurry, I am ready,
But I do not see Tom or will you will.

Speaker 12 (21:29):
In a moment. Stand away from the door.

Speaker 9 (21:33):
Shew kove sabine flowed.

Speaker 12 (21:35):
Come on, they're ahead of us. Wait. I must be
a stone out here to close.

Speaker 9 (21:41):
Ah, here it is, but we are leaving Margaret.

Speaker 17 (21:46):
All right, we'll be back before they wake up. A hurry,
revolving tome and move home and worth. Tom must have
known all the time how to open these doors. They
thought we were asleep, they let out. I watched Tom
open the door. Now they're somewhere in the council room
behind this big door.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
But what are you looking for?

Speaker 12 (22:02):
A wall stone lighter in color them?

Speaker 7 (22:04):
Here it is.

Speaker 12 (22:06):
There, they are. Yes, leave the door open. Come here
behind this s pillar. It's close enough.

Speaker 7 (22:14):
They are arguing, you.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
Have an understanding.

Speaker 7 (22:21):
Third No more, Mara and.

Speaker 12 (22:23):
I that's better. Now lift up the lid on that box.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
The diamond is there I get it healthy, it is
heavy together it then now.

Speaker 12 (22:36):
Humans too cold.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
But there's the diamond.

Speaker 7 (22:41):
Get the disk. The diamond is in the center under
that lid. Lay it on the floor and pry it
open with your gun barrel.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
With a golden disc on the floor between his knees,
Wolf pries impatiently at the slot like opening in its center.

Speaker 14 (22:54):
Tom, contemplating the.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Excited Germans path closed eyes, stands thoughtfully fingering the button
the gun that is here, with a low, insane laugh.
Wilf franchise savagely at the disc. Abruptly it flies open Instantly.
The vast chamber is flooded with an intense, blinding glare.
The eyes of the four men are glued to the
great glittering gem which lies embedded in the golden eye.

(23:17):
Helpless beneath the sway of some superhuman power that holds
them nerveless within its grip, they stand like graven images,
without power to speak or move. A huge shaggy head
appears above the rim of the pit. Behind the German,
small red, wicked eyes glitter evily in the white glare
of the diamond. A torsail, huge, long armed, short legged,

(23:38):
and covered with thick red hair clambers grotesquely over the
rim of the pit, jabbering guttily through thick, slabbering lips.
The monstrous ape reaches out a hairy arm and paw
and grasps wolf for the back of the net.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
The huge please startic Simian pulled the German to him.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Great yellow pangs bury themselves deep in his throat, holding
savagely the group.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Office wolf aside. The German's lifeless.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Body drops among the fabulous gin, puling off the unholy
brilliance of the diamond?

Speaker 14 (24:17):
What awful power was it?

Speaker 8 (24:19):
That hell the stars out.

Speaker 11 (24:20):
The glare of that diamond? As soon as both covered
it with his body, I could move. Then then he
let us see you, poor Donald, that he was.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Coming for you. The bewildered in a cast, the Frenchman
sees the horrible monster swayings for him. Tarzan's challenging cry
halty advancing route.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
For only a second.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
It's enough to leave man beat past Donal and play
himself on the path of the hideous beast. The monster's
gigantic bomb tarts out.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
For the man's throat.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Tarzan's left hand fast the hairy wrist holds the great
arm forward and down.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
He leaps close to the root's side.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
The guest tries to earned with him quick us light,
Tarzan's white man flashes up to bury his gillery knife
again and again deepen the mount inside, following with page
and pain. He leaps right hand rot to the wound
swift the thought Tarzan steps behind the brute, then leads
up his left arm and circles the huge neck.

Speaker 12 (25:19):
Leaning badly.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
The ape man's knife speaks to the hill in the
bull light throat.

Speaker 18 (25:25):
Ah, Tarzan, some monster? What an an audible food?

Speaker 8 (25:40):
Is not pretty easy?

Speaker 12 (25:41):
Met me, Tarzan? What can I say?

Speaker 11 (25:43):
But tell me what became up Tom? If you know
he has disappeared there? Yes, what a chance we have
of finding him?

Speaker 10 (25:49):
For a moon Sasara B and DP ceiling very difficult
in this this forest of color.

Speaker 11 (25:56):
I can see at least twenty corriters leading out from
this hall we Tarzan.

Speaker 10 (26:00):
All of them are in semi darkness. Alor we can
at least try. But what about wolves there and the diamond.

Speaker 8 (26:08):
I'll have to leave him and the diamond. Come on.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Which one shall we choose?

Speaker 11 (26:16):
They all look exactly alike, this one just in front
of U seems a little large better light than let's try.

Speaker 10 (26:22):
It, kudisnt Have you noticed tars down these strange blue light?

Speaker 12 (26:28):
These little lamps give off.

Speaker 8 (26:29):
Not particularly, but I wish there were more of them.

Speaker 7 (26:33):
Kute, kute.

Speaker 17 (26:36):
Somebody is coming, yes, and they're coming down this corridor.
There must be a sharp turn head there. See the
reflection against the walls, and there is not a single
place to hide so much so much as one's hand.

Speaker 12 (26:48):
We must go back now, good retreat. Now they'll get
to that then, before we can reach the console chamber.
It probably heard the noise we made and are coming
to investigate it.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Meanwhile, Tom, released from the unholy spell of the Diamond,
has gained the weird half light of a cross corridor.

Speaker 14 (27:22):
With the sense of being pursued.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
By the great slavery lipped brute, which, in one frightful
instant had torn the life from Wolf, he hurries deeper
and deeper into the fantastic showland. Presently he rounds a
bend in the corridor to come abruptly upon a pair
of bronze doors with a breath of relief. His quick
searching gaze locates the discolored stone in the wall and
believing he is about to re enter the quarters into

(27:45):
which the party had been placed by Hakeiru, he quickly
presses the stone. As the portals swing open, Tom's astonished
eyes behold a brilliantly lighted chamber furnished in barbaric magnificence.

Speaker 14 (27:58):
He pauses, uncertain, what the none of the outer world?

Speaker 12 (28:04):
I beg your pardon.

Speaker 13 (28:06):
Oh, comest thou here the chambers of Chara, Queen of
the hesse Hare.

Speaker 7 (28:10):
And daughter of the Son, Oh, daughter of the Son.
I believe I was.

Speaker 13 (28:15):
Ander them, and speak true? How comest thou here?

Speaker 7 (28:20):
I come from the chamber of the Great Diamond, where
I witnessed an attempted theft and its immediate punishment.

Speaker 13 (28:28):
Sayest thou death.

Speaker 7 (28:30):
Tarzan of the Apes, the French, Madano, and Wolf the
German attempted to steal the father of Diamonds. They compelled
me to accompany them against my will ha ha.

Speaker 13 (28:42):
And of the three, how many remain alive?

Speaker 7 (28:46):
Wolf is dead, killed by a horrible monster which climbed
out of the pit, and the others are alive. Light
Tarzan killed the guardian of the Diamond.

Speaker 13 (28:58):
Thou killed one of the talking apes.

Speaker 19 (29:02):
H verily this Tarzan must be a tower of strength,
so thought, after all, in a share to steal the father.

Speaker 7 (29:13):
Naw Queen, that I Helen Gregory, whom we believe to
be a nice share. Margret and I came here hoping
to find Brian Gregory, and this Tarzan. He donal Wolf
and Larson lied back there in the council chamber. They
are here after the diamond, and he must.

Speaker 13 (29:34):
Be powerful to then push a guardian ape. But tell me, stranger,
this Helen Gregory. Is she beautiful?

Speaker 7 (29:44):
She is start in love with her Helen Gregory. She
merely pays me well to aid her in her search.

Speaker 13 (29:52):
And the other woman she is indeed exceedingly beautiful.

Speaker 7 (29:57):
Hm Magra is like a door to me.

Speaker 13 (30:01):
Didst thou not see the eye of Sutan praising this
muggre when now it's in the Great Hall? What is
thy names?

Speaker 7 (30:09):
James, I am a tan tom.

Speaker 13 (30:12):
Thou art a chief of warriors, and I land I have.

Speaker 7 (30:14):
The name from my ancestors.

Speaker 13 (30:17):
Hearken Atantom. Whoever entereth the chamber of the Daughter of
the Sun, other than the king is life? This forfeit
to her wish and will I could have thee thrown
to the guardian ape.

Speaker 7 (30:31):
Yes, O, daughter of the Sun, you could do that,
and I shall unless I have met thy service. So
Tida listen, Thou.

Speaker 13 (30:45):
Shalt act as idea for me and all the transpires
between my companions, and perchance they are chief.

Speaker 7 (30:52):
It shall be an honor to serve thee, my queen.

Speaker 13 (30:56):
And if thou servicet me falsely, I shot pay with
my very life.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Back in the dim corridor, Tarzan and Dono cast about
for some sort of hiding place. The bound of the
approaching hesse Harrians is now distinct. They are flashing lights
near the bent of the corridor. Suddenly Tarzan grips Donald's arm. Look, Donald,
set in the wall there the shrine.

Speaker 7 (31:36):
You shall have what you see.

Speaker 12 (31:38):
But the roof above the shrine. It's as black as
night up there.

Speaker 10 (31:41):
But there is no way to climb, nothing to offer
a foot.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Wait, one mighty leap on Tarzan's fingers grasped the projecting
shrine roof. A rhythmic swing and pull, and the ape
man disappears a moment, and his muscular arms reach down
out of the shadows.

Speaker 20 (31:55):
So I'll catch Wait, shustnt I move here here? They
call it down lad with heads here, no dan do Darzan.
There must be a hundred of them, and they are

(32:15):
angry from this to their voices. Oh, if only I
could understand their speech.

Speaker 12 (32:28):
Well, they're gone, be on our way now here. I'll
let you down quick way. Lead back against the wall,
so I won't knop on you. Now, that's right back
to Bobrin Larson.

Speaker 10 (32:44):
Are you sure this is the route we took when
we followed home? And would must be that bend in
the quarter we just made. I'm sure our quarters are
on this hallway and not far. Oh that's poor wood,
what an cha?

Speaker 12 (32:58):
Yes, a mixture of bad and good too. Perry had
to go out that way.

Speaker 14 (33:04):
It was terry man.

Speaker 10 (33:07):
May be it is life, and now we must think
of our selven.

Speaker 11 (33:11):
Yes, of course, I'd like to know just what their
attempt at stealing the diamond will mean to us.

Speaker 7 (33:17):
We can wait and watch patiently. I don't like that.

Speaker 14 (33:23):
I don't like it. I tell you. If I've got
something to do, I want to do it and get
it over with.

Speaker 12 (33:28):
You are right.

Speaker 8 (33:30):
We'll have to wait for them to act.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Now.

Speaker 14 (33:32):
And this monsieur toned the attam.

Speaker 12 (33:36):
Where did he go?

Speaker 14 (33:38):
And where is he?

Speaker 10 (33:39):
Now?

Speaker 14 (33:41):
I simply cannot trust that man.

Speaker 8 (33:43):
I can't say that I do that. I can't see
how we'll do him any good to try to harm us.
We don't want the diamos to say truly not.

Speaker 10 (33:52):
But he will not try to get the gem by
research crewed metodsays did world.

Speaker 14 (33:57):
Nevertheless, he is the type who will stop.

Speaker 8 (34:00):
That's nothing.

Speaker 12 (34:00):
They don't know.

Speaker 14 (34:01):
That's our chamber. And can you look at the stone
which opens them?

Speaker 12 (34:05):
I think so?

Speaker 14 (34:05):
It's lighter in color.

Speaker 12 (34:07):
Yes, here it is.

Speaker 8 (34:12):
License a week this on that stone, don't know it closes.

Speaker 6 (34:15):
Thank your lord, you are Facti's hand.

Speaker 8 (34:17):
But what is it license? You are?

Speaker 6 (34:18):
Hey, they didn't have pace everything for you, and wondering
what happened to you? Follows now it's been maga.

Speaker 8 (34:26):
What the bus they took?

Speaker 6 (34:28):
She she been gone?

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Welcome back? Well, uh, our party got carried into a
whole other world painted by their vivid descriptions. Of course,
it's also a world in which not even Tarzan can
save Wolf from his own mistakes. Point Wolf's death fell

(34:52):
a bit overdue, if anything. I mean he had already
had multiple cliffhangers where his life was in danger, and
Tarzan bailed him out in the end. And I think
the thing with Wolf was that he never really seemed
to learn anything from his brushes with death, like how

(35:14):
his own greed or rash judgment nearly caused catastrophe and
he was totally unfazed by it, and so this was
pretty much inevitable. I did appreciate Tarzan saying that there
were good points and bad points to Wolf, although in
this radio serial, I don't think we heard any of

(35:36):
the good points. The effects on this program do continue
to be top notch for the era. I loved that
effect that they used for the Guardians. I mean, it
was chilling. I don't know how they made it, but
it really communicated a strangeness about the whole situation and

(35:58):
a real eeriness about these creatures. And again I continue
to be impressed we're getting this high quality of sound
effects and design from something that was broadcast ninety two
years ago. Well now it's time to thank our Patreon
