that you would never amount to anything. If you have felt this way or
heard those type of words, Iwant you to know that all of those
even though those feelings seem true,they are the lies of the enemy.
They are lies we have come tobelieve. Welcome to healing begins. I'm

going to talk to you today aboutthe power of one. The power of
one. I really believe that oneperson can make a big difference in life
today. You are not in significant, You are important. You are valuable.
You know, and Jeremiah five toone. God tells Jeremiah, before

I formed you in the womb,I knew you, and I set you
apart, and I anointed you asa prophet to the nation. You know,
God tells Jeremiah that he knew himeven before he was born and that
he had a plan for his life. You know, it's the same way
for us today too. Before wewere born, God knew about us,
(01:33):
He had a plan for our lives. And what this means is there are
no mistakes. You are not amistake. You are valuable to God.
Psalm one, nine, verse sixteensays, your eyes saw my onfarmed body.
All the days for me were writtenin your book before one of them
came to be. You know,when I think of this scripture, it's
amazing to think how God wrote abook and put our name in it,

and he wrote down all all wecould ever do for him, and he
put it away before we were evenborn. You know, it's amazing.
If you are alive today, stillliving, God has a plan for you.
It doesn't matter how old you are. It doesn't matter how young you
are. Many times people will feellike they've made so many mistakes that how

could God's plan ever be available forthem? Well, I got good news
for you. We serve a Godof the second chance, and he can
put you back on your feet andright on the right path again. And
not only God of the second chance, but God, how about a God
of the third, fourth, fifth, sixth. I don't know how many

times in my life God gave mea chance to do things differently. His
mercy is great, and his loveendurers forever, and he has an amazing
plan for all of our lives.You know what. And here's the thing
too, Just as God knows aboutyou before you were born and has a
plan the enemy knows about you too. You know. I've met many people

that knew they weren't wanted even inthe womb, that someone tried to kill
them, or or they weren't wanted, their birth wasn't wanted, or maybe
the circumstance of their birth was itdesirable. I have met people that have
borne as a result of rape.But I want you to know God has

a plan for that person. Eventhough the birth was not what we would
want. As far as the circumstances, that person or that child is still
valuable to God. And God lovesthat person and wants him to know.
Even though you were rejected by people, you are not rejected by God.

But you are loved by God,you know. And this is the reason
that is called the power of one. I'm going to make a statement,
and you tell tell me who saidthis I have a dream? Well you
know who said that? That wasMartin Luther King? Who said this,

Gorbachev tear down that wall? Wellyou know who that was. That was
Ronald Reagan. And yet you don'thave to be a Ronald Reagan to be
used by God. God uses ordinarypeople to do extraordinary things. You know,
if you can google this how manypeople will the average person impact and

effect with their life. The averagenumber is ten thousand. Wow, that's
just average. And so that's alot of people to have an effect.
And the reason I'm calling this thepower of One is that I believe many
times there are men and women thatgo through life and they never discover God's

purpose and plan for their life.I remember visiting the hospital, I think
it was a hospital in Calma Zooin my early days in the ministry,
and I remember talking to this gentlemanwho is dying in the critical care unit,
and he said to me, hesaid, Pastor Gale. He said,
you know, I lived my wholelife never doing what God designed me
(05:20):
to do because I was afraid.I did not want to leave my good
paying job. And he said,God wanted me to be a pastor,
but I decided to stay in thejob where I'm at. Do you think
God loves me and he'll have meback? I said, absolutely, he
loves you and he'll take you backnow. He never fulfilled his purpose,
(05:43):
but God never stopped loving him allthe days of his life. My point
is this, what if we alltook the time to discover why God created
us and what his purpose in planis for our life. Wow. I
believe one person can affect their city, can affect a nation, and can
(06:06):
impact the world. And so youlook at Billy Graham. I mean there's
a gentleman. I wonder who itwas that led Billy Graham to Christ.
Wow, that person will have abig reward in heaven because Billy Graham went
on to impact the entire world.You may not be Billy Graham, but
(06:28):
God has a plan and God wantsto use you, and you are important.
And I want to share with yousome points and I want to give
you that if you're trying to figureout your purpose and God the purpose that
God has for you in the plan, I think some of these some of
these points will help. Because justas when we're born, God knows who
(06:54):
we are, but Satan also knowswho we are. And John ten ten
says that the thief cometh to kill, steal, and destroy. But I've
come that you might have life andhave it more abundantly. So the minute
you're born or in the womb,Satan sets out to try to destroy your

life. I've heard about ladies whowas kicked in the womb when they were
pregnant, or people said really meanthings to them, or whatever the situation
is. I want to say Godis greater than your situation. So I
got some points that I want togo through that I think will help you
to begin discover your purpose for whyGod created you and why He put you

here. Point number one, gofor your own healing ministry at Spiritual Care.
You know, when you receive healingministry, you can go through the
pain of the past that has shapedyou today and get healing for that.
But you can also discover some ofthe lies that you come to believe about

yourself that have gotten you where youare today. And so don't be afraid

go and get healing from your past, it will propel you into your future

at spiritual your care consultants. Youcould get your prayer in person or virtual
and say why come in for prayer? Will come in and ask them to
pray for you, for God todirect your life for what he has.
Maybe they'll have a prophetic word foryou, or maybe they'll pray about something

that will confirm something that you've beenthinking in your heart. It's always good
to go for special prayer. Numberthree. Maybe you already know what he
wants you to do, but you'reafraid. You're afraid to take that step
of faith. No fear is falseevidence appearing real. I just want to

encourage you to take a step offaith, to step out and not realize
that when you step out, you'renot stepping alone. God is stepping with
you. Number four. Spend timeseeking the Lord in prayer, asking him
to reveal to you what he hasfor you. Jeremiah thirty three three says,

call to me, and I willanswer you and tell you great,
unsearchable things you do not know.And it's not uncommon for someone not to
know God's purpose for their life,or to feel like they're insignificant, not
worth anything. But I'm telling youyou're more valuable than gold or silver,
(10:26):
because you were made by the Lord, put on this planet for a reason
and a purpose. And maybe thisis the first time you've ever heard something
like that, but I'm telling youit's true. Number five, don't give
up, Matthew seven. Seven,Ask and it will be given you.
Seek and you will find. Knockand the door will be open to you.

This is a great scripture in theBible, but the way it reads
in the Greek is this, Keepon seeking, keep on asking, and
keep on knocking until your answer comes. Number six. Be patient. Don't
be in a hurry. This takestime. You know, we live in
a society where we all want thingstoday, or we all want things now.

We don't want to wait. Wedon't want to take the time to
be in a waiting time. Don'tbe in a hurry, Just wait on
the Lord. Number seven. You'renot too old. Many of the men
and women in the Bible were olderwhen God called him to do the things
that he did in their life.Anythink Moses and Joshua were around eighty And
(11:41):
if you're sixty seventy eighty, you'renot too old. You're just beginning.
How about that. There's no retirement. In the Kingdom of God, There's
always things the Lord will have youto do. There's always someone that needs
to be touched for his kingdom.Number eight, what are the desires of
(12:05):
your heart? Psalm thirty four seven. Take delight in the Lord, and
He will give you the desires ofyour heart. What is it that you
like to do? God created you, He put things in you. He
put those desires in you for inthe first place, God is it going
to call you to do something youdon't want to do. So take time,
(12:31):
don't worry, take it easy,walk by faith, not by sight,
and seek the Lord you know.Number nine is trust God to direct
your footsteps. Psalm thirty seven twentythree says, the steps of a good
man are ordered by the Lord,and he delighteth in his way. Trust
(12:54):
that God will direct your footsteps andyour thoughts each in every day. I
just want to say that so manytimes I have found myself in situations and
all of a sudden I realized weI was in the middle of a God
moment. It wasn't planned. Ididn't know I was going to be there,

But God directed my steps right intothe right area and I met the
right people he wanted me to meet, and number ten. If you're seeking
to know God's plan and purpose foryour life, and you feel like you
have a thought or something God wantsyou to do, it's always good to
(13:41):
seek wise counsel. Proverbs nineteen,verses twenty and twenty one says, listen
to advice and accept discipline, andat the end you will be counted among
the wise. Many are the plansin a person's heart, but it is
the Lord's purpose that prevails. Socall someone up who knows how to pray.

Talk to someone who is wise,and know God's word, and get
counsel. The other thing that Iwas thinking about today is timing when you're
going to go do something for theLord. Timing is everything. I remember
being in Pensacola out in the ocean, and I was with a guy named
Larry, and we were out theredoing body surfing, and it is really
(14:33):
important when a wave is coming tobe able to jump in that wave at
the right time. If you getin it at the right time, the
momentum of that wave will lead youall the way to the shore. But
if you jump in to fast,the wave will bury you. If you
jump too slow, it'll go it'llyou won't ride the momentum, you'll lose
(14:58):
it. And so many times inlife we can jump too quick and find
ourselves in a situation that isn't good. So it's good to seek wise counsel
and to ask God, what's thetiming of this? I feel like I
know that what you want me todo, but what is the timing of
(15:20):
it? I remember even at SpiritualCare. When we founded Spiritual Care,
doctor Carlson and I we had avision that one day we would have a
healing center, and that vision didn'ttake place until fifteen years down the road.
Now we got the healing center,and then we always had a vision
(15:41):
of working with children and horses.That took another fifteen years to come to
pass. And all the right piecesof the puzzle had to come to pass
for it to happen. You know, we had to have the Cowboy Church
of Hastings. We had to havethe thank God first ranch of Hacings,
(16:02):
and we had to have all thecowboys who are willing to bring their horses
together to the ranch to me.And then we had to have all the
children. And now we do cowboyday camps and we basically do it for
free because everybody is volunteering their time. So what I'm saying is timing is
(16:29):
everything that really pays to wait onthe Lord to know what his timing is
in the situation that you're that you'rein, so one person can affect an
entire community, can affect a nation, can affect the world. You are
(16:53):
important to God. The fact thathe took the time to knit you together
and your mother's womb is amazing.Psalm one thirty nine, verses thirteen and
fourteen says, for you created myinmost being, you knit me together in
my mother's womb. I praise youfor I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Your works are wonderful. I knowthat full well, seeing that God took
the time to be involved in yourcreation, in my creation in the womb,
I know that He has a planand a purpose for alives. And
I know that there's no one onthe face of this planet that is a

mistake. And you say, well, what about those people that have done
a lot of wrong, that havekilled people that have done all this stuff,
Well, you know what, whenGod created them, he didn't create
them bad. That was the enemyworking in life happening and choices that they
made that brought them where they aretoday. And today, more than ever,

we want people to discover what God'splan and purposes for their life,
because that will change the world.What if everybody found out why God created
them? And then what if everybodywent out and did that. What if
everybody stopped and didn't listen to thelives of the enemy, and if you
(18:29):
were told growing up you were worthless, you were no good, and you
would never amount to anything. Whatif everybody who heard those words rejected those
words and began to believe what Godhas said about them, That God loves
them, they are wanted, theyare accepted, they are a treasure.
I mean, just so much herethat we could do with this. And

so my basic encouragement today is Iwant you to discover who God created you
to be, and I'd like youto go out and do that, and
I know That's God's will for yourlife. And so I just want to
pray for those that are feeling downthat maybe you just don't feel like you're
(19:19):
worth anything. Lord, I prayfor those that are depressed and down who
feel like their life doesn't matter.Father, we know that's a lie of
the enemy, but we also knowthat's how they feel. And I pray
they would know today that they are, that they matter, that they would
hear your voice through my voice todayand would know Lord that they matter.

And I pray for those that justfeel lost, they feel like they've lost
their way. They're in the ditch, off the beaten path, They're not
where God wants them to be.Lord, this is a good day for
them to come back home. Andso I invite you today as I pray,
to pray this prayer and rededicate yourlife to Christ. Say, Jesus,

I know I'm a sinner. Iask you to forgive you of my
sins. Come into my heart andbe my savior. I rededicate my heart
and my life to you in Jesus'sname. Amen, and Lord, I
continue to pray for those that havejust prayed this prayer that you would fill

them with the Holy Spirit and helpthem Lord to find a great church to
attend where they can be a partof the body of Christ. And I
pray for those that are listening todaythat they would truly be able to go
out and to discover the purpose thatYou have for their life, and Lord,

I just thank you. I'm justthe Lord is laying on my heart
right now to pray for those thatare grieving. And Lord, I pray
for those that are grieving. Maybethey lost a child, maybe they lost
the loved and I don't know whatthe situation is, but I pray for
those that are grieving today. Lord, you said you are close to the

broken hearted, and you save thosethat are crust in spirit. And I
feel led by the Lord right nowto pray for those that have someone in
the military, and I pray forsafety for our troops that are out there
defending our freedom. Lord, youknow the family members who have someone that

is in another country in the military, serving and making sure that we can
remain free. And I pray thatyou would be with them right now,
and I pray that you would keepour military safe in the name of Jesus.
And I just pray that everyone wouldhave a good day to day and

that your presence would be with them, and that the realm would be filled
with the presence of the Lord,and so that you would encamp your angels
around them in Jesus' name. Ameant I just want to thank you for

Now we got the healing center,and then we always had a vision

of working with children and horses.That took another fifteen years to come to
pass. And all the right piecesof the puzzle had to come to pass
for it to happen. You know, we had to have the Cowboy Church
of Hastings. We had to havethe thank God first ranch of Hacings,
(16:02):
and we had to have all thecowboys who are willing to bring their horses
together to the ranch to me.And then we had to have all the
children. And now we do cowboyday camps and we basically do it for
free because everybody is volunteering their time. So what I'm saying is timing is
(16:29):
everything that really pays to wait onthe Lord to know what his timing is
in the situation that you're that you'rein, so one person can affect an
entire community, can affect a nation, can affect the world. You are
(16:53):
important to God. The fact thathe took the time to knit you together
and your mother's womb is amazing.Psalm one thirty nine, verses thirteen and
fourteen says, for you created myinmost being, you knit me together in
my mother's womb. I praise youfor I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
(17:18):
Your works are wonderful. I knowthat full well, seeing that God took
the time to be involved in yourcreation, in my creation in the womb,
I know that He has a planand a purpose for alives. And
I know that there's no one onthe face of this planet that is a
(17:42):
mistake. And you say, well, what about those people that have done
a lot of wrong, that havekilled people that have done all this stuff,
Well, you know what, whenGod created them, he didn't create
them bad. That was the enemyworking in life happening and choices that they
made that brought them where they aretoday. And today, more than ever,
(18:06):
we want people to discover what God'splan and purposes for their life,
because that will change the world.What if everybody found out why God created
them? And then what if everybodywent out and did that. What if
everybody stopped and didn't listen to thelives of the enemy, and if you
(18:29):
were told growing up you were worthless, you were no good, and you
would never amount to anything. Whatif everybody who heard those words rejected those
words and began to believe what Godhas said about them, That God loves
them, they are wanted, theyare accepted, they are a treasure.
I mean, just so much herethat we could do with this. And
(18:53):
so my basic encouragement today is Iwant you to discover who God created you
to be, and I'd like youto go out and do that, and
I know That's God's will for yourlife. And so I just want to
pray for those that are feeling downthat maybe you just don't feel like you're
(19:19):
worth anything. Lord, I prayfor those that are depressed and down who
feel like their life doesn't matter.Father, we know that's a lie of
the enemy, but we also knowthat's how they feel. And I pray
they would know today that they are, that they matter, that they would
hear your voice through my voice todayand would know Lord that they matter.
(19:44):
And I pray for those that justfeel lost, they feel like they've lost
their way. They're in the ditch, off the beaten path, They're not
where God wants them to be.Lord, this is a good day for
them to come back home. Andso I invite you today as I pray,
to pray this prayer and rededicate yourlife to Christ. Say, Jesus,
(20:10):
I know I'm a sinner. Iask you to forgive you of my
sins. Come into my heart andbe my savior. I rededicate my heart
and my life to you in Jesus'sname. Amen, and Lord, I
continue to pray for those that havejust prayed this prayer that you would fill
(20:32):
them with the Holy Spirit and helpthem Lord to find a great church to
attend where they can be a partof the body of Christ. And I
pray for those that are listening todaythat they would truly be able to go
out and to discover the purpose thatYou have for their life, and Lord,
(20:53):
I just thank you. I'm justthe Lord is laying on my heart
right now to pray for those thatare grieving. And Lord, I pray
for those that are grieving. Maybethey lost a child, maybe they lost
the loved and I don't know whatthe situation is, but I pray for
those that are grieving today. Lord, you said you are close to the
(21:17):
broken hearted, and you save thosethat are crust in spirit. And I
feel led by the Lord right nowto pray for those that have someone in
the military, and I pray forsafety for our troops that are out there
defending our freedom. Lord, youknow the family members who have someone that
(21:37):
is in another country in the military, serving and making sure that we can
remain free. And I pray thatyou would be with them right now,
and I pray that you would keepour military safe in the name of Jesus.
And I just pray that everyone wouldhave a good day to day and
(21:57):
that your presence would be with them, and that the realm would be filled
with the presence of the Lord,and so that you would encamp your angels
around them in Jesus' name. Ameant I just want to thank you for
