Il 5 gennaio 1962 la Polydor ha pubblicato in Gran Bretagna il brano My Bonnie di Tony Sheridan and The Beatles. Brian Epstein è diventato il manager dei Beatles il 24 gennaio 1962, anche se il contratto rivisto e valido con tutte le firme è datato 1 ottobre 1962.
