15 de abril de 2023. Alemania completa su plan de desnuclearización cerrando los últimos reactores de las centrales que quedaban operativas: Isar 2, Neckarwestheim 2 y Emsland. Debían haberse cerrado ya en diciembre de 2022. La crisis energética surgida como consecuencia de la invasión rusa posibilitó una moratoria de unos meses, el tiempo necesario para superar el invierno sin que los alemanes sufrieran cortes.
