Speaker 1 (00:00):
Every weekend we talk movies with Jason at the movie
so you don't have to waste your hard earn cash
on something you might not want to see in theaters
but wait till streaming.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So Jason, what's in theaters this weekend?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Yeah? Probably the one with the biggest Q score, as
they say, would be the new Springsteen Deliver Me from Nowhere.
That's about Bruce Springsteen putting together the album Nebraska. It's
played by Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. So you know,
big deal, big awards buzz. You know, reviews are pretty good,

(00:31):
but I wouldn't say they're great.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Oh really, because this is what I was really having
on my list this week. And I saw a video
on I think it was TikTok or Instagram where the
two of them, it was the guy from The Bear
and Bruce Springsteen ran into each other and was.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Like, welcome, it's you, and it's like it's you. It's
pretty cool. So what else we got? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Pretty cool? Okay. Also, you know it's October. We need
a horror movie, right, So we've got Shelby Shelby Oaks.
This is where a woman's sister goes missing and so
she wants to go find her, but then that leads
to yep, you guessed it, Unknown Evil. You know, hey,
it's October. We need horror movies. So never the worst thing.

(01:10):
Another pretty big movie in terms of it's getting a
lot of trailers, a lot of commercials, a lot of posters.
This is regretting you. This is based on a Colleen
Hoover book. She's the one that wrote It Stops with Us,
It Ends with Us, the one that's the Blake Lively
movie from last year. Yeah, so this is a good,

(01:30):
good young cast. I mean people that you probably know
would be like Alex and Williams, Date Franco, but it's
the Kinnigrates and Mason Beames. It's it's not getting great reviews,
but again, Colin Hoover is such a big deal and
It Ends with Us was just savaged by the critics
and was a huge hit. So you just never know here.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
So is that any for this weekend? I mean, do
we have anything good we should look forward to or no?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Well we have one more that's probably a pretty big
title going on Netflix today, House of Dynamite. It's got
a ton of people in it. I mean, the cap
is huge, Jidriselba, Rebecca Ferguson. There's a lot of people.
So this is about a missile is on its way
to America. We don't know how, why, who it's from,

(02:17):
and then that leads to chaos. I've seen it. It's
getting really good reviews. I didn't really like it. I
thought that it was kind of laughable in a lot
of places. So, I mean, it's on Netflix. You know
how that goes. You throw it on, maybe you enjoy it,
maybe you don't, but it's part of the service.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
All right, Well, this is why we do this. Every
single weekend.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
On the iHeartRadio app, you can check out Jason the
Movie's podcast, so you can go ahead and find out
if you should waste your time or.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Actually go to the theaters this weekend. So thanks a lot, Jason.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
All Right, you got it.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
