Speaker 1 (00:00):
Every weekend. We talked to Jason at the Movies because
well he's been in movies and TV shows and just
getting back from la doing something out there too. So
what's in theaters this weekend?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Jason, Yeah, We've actually got a pretty good selection of
things that are coming out this weekend. Probably the one
that's been promoted the most would be the new Running
Man movie. This is, of course, a remake of an
Arnold Swarzenegger movie from the eighties, which is based on
a Stephen King book. Supposedly, this one follows the book

(00:30):
closer than the eighties one did. I thought the eighties
one was pretty awesome, but I guess yeah, yeah, people
are saying it wasn't good. But anyway, we got Glenn
Powell and this one, who's pretty awesome too, getting some
good reviews. So that's probably going to be the big
movie of the weekend. But the other movie that really
I guess has some branding, has some history is the

(00:54):
third Now You See Me movie Now You see Me,
Now you don't.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
The Magic four horse or whatever they're called, the.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Four Horsemen magicians that also pull off heist, which is like, hey,
I love magic, I love heist. I love horses. Okay,
So I saw this one in advance, and about ten
minutes in I went, you know what, I don't think
I ever saw this second one, So there were a
few things I didn't quite know what they were talking about,
but overall I did have a good time for this.

(01:25):
If you take it for what it is, it's not
a good movie. It's just fun and light and stupid,
and it's not getting the best reviews. But if you've
seen the first two and you like him, or if
you're just kind of looking for something, you know, to
kick around this weekend, it's not the worst thing to pick.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Now. I was gonna say, that doesn't sound bad at all,
and that's totally in my lane. But there's what one
or two more this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
That are coming out. We've got one more. We've got
our you know, we have to have a horror movie
almost every weekend. So this one is the latest one
from Osgoode Perkins. He's the one that did Long Legs.
He's actually Anthony Herkin's son.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Dis Yeah, pretty cool, right, Yeah. So this is Tatiana Maglani,
who I do like her. She goes out to an
isolated cabin she secluded, but then uh oh, here comes
unspeakable evil, also getting pretty good reviews.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Well, I mean that's why we talked to you, because
we found out that there is one movie I'd like
to see this weekend, and it's not the scary one.
But you can always check out Jason at the Movie's
podcast with the iHeartRadio app every single weekend if you're
going to try and figure out if you want to
stay home and stream or go out to the theaters.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
