Living with ADHD
July 22, 2016•27 min
Melissa Hood lost 40 jobs in a 15-year period. In college, she was told she was stupid and to not strive for such high goals. Eventually, her friends encouraged her to see a doctor about an ADHD diagnosis. As an adult, she was diagnosed and placed on medication. During that time, she was able to learn how her brain operates and eventually go off meds and follow natural ways of adapting to her environment.
She's now in her Doctorate program and has written her book, Memoirs of an ADHD Mind.
Listen to how Melissa has worked hard to achieve her dreams, despite obstacles.
