Buckeyes fall at UCLA
Cavs run win streak to 7

From the WIMA Sports desk. The Ohio State Buckeyes began
their West Coast swing with a sixty nine to sixty
one loss at UCLA yesterday afternoon. We get a Buckeye
update with Stally Insurance. The Buckeyes shot just thirty two
percent from the floor, including six of twenty seven from three.
Bruce Thornton scored twenty one to lead Ohio State, who's

I think we've run up against two teams who speed
you up and forced into the crowds and really attacked
your dribble. You know, there were a lot of times
today the ball was you know, we got the ball
in a good spot and we missed the kickout opportunity
right because we've bobbled it or got hit or we
couldn't get the put back. What we've seen is we
got a little sped up at times. I felt like

our shot selection this game was better. It wasn't good
enough last game. That's been a factor, but it was
better today against the team who really limits possessions. They
really grind out and limit possessions. But probably the way
we took care of the ball, and I thought we
had some really good looks you know that we'll we'll

shooting with confidence, and the ball was moving way better

pretty hard to do that. So I thought that was
a good step forward.
