Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upcycling projects for tweens and teens. Everyone wonder how to
get your kids into more upcycling that doesn't feel like
work for you and for them. Here I found the
list of a good number of things that most tweens
and teens are likely to enjoy pretty much effortlessly. How

(00:21):
about using mintins maintained cans into many usable storage for
things like lip blows, mirrors, and hair clippings. By simply
upcycling these otherwise tossal way cans, they can not be
used to store those small treasures. But there are so
many treasures that can be made, like bowls made out

(00:43):
of magazine strips or even newspapers to create a structure
that looks like a bunch of plastic tubes that are
interconnected together. One of the crafts I saw was made
out of brown paperbags and it was an actual three
D star. But for me, one of my favorites is
using paper bags create an original gift wrap. You can

(01:06):
create it with the use of ribbons, markers, and other materials.
You can create character characters like a bear or Santa Claus.
If you can imagine it, it can be done. I
also saw a great deal of jewelry, jewelry made out
of up cycle things like soda tabs. Another uh sodo
tap creation that a team might easily, really easily and

(01:29):
really enjoy is using soda tabs to decorate their shoes.
This this one I found very impressive and that you
would have not known there were soda tabs. You would
think the front of the shoe is layered with some
kind of metal. I think something might like this might
inspire that future designer. Soda taps were all around when

(01:53):
it came to upcycling, and there was even a purse
made out of soda taps. There was also are made
out of a college of magazines. There were other items
like creating glitter shoes. They even have ways to make
your own luggage tags. But I see these as mostly

(02:13):
declarations and that there are so many changing guidelines we
travel and you have to make sure that they will
adhere really well if you're going to use them. Well
for now, remember that life is about possibilities, not impossibilities.
Till next time, stay well,
