Speaker 1 (04:42):
Let's talk this evening. We have two guests. Our first
guest is Kimmy Johnston Lindnesday, and Kimmy is a Air
Force VET, former ef EMS first responder. She's currently the
Field rep for Turning Porn Action Las Vegas and co

(05:02):
chair of Turning Point Action Faith Coalition. She's doing all
that while homeschooling her four children and declaring that Jesus
is Christ. Welcome, Kimmy, Hi, thank you so much for
having me. And then our next guest this evening is sorry.

(05:26):
Our next guest is Marlon Medina. He's an entrepreneur, marketing director,
and community leader. Marlin founded Golden Medina Services, a media
marketing agency. Marlin is also the gen Z chairman for
Turning Point Action Las Vegas. He also supports the mission
of the Stop the Traffic Foundation. Welcome Marlin, You're welcome,

(05:54):
so for both of you, because you're working for a
turning point. My question to you is did you get
to meet Charlie Kirk before he was killed? Okay, Kimmy,
I did.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
I met him in person the first time when we
did Freedom Night at Fervin's Calvary Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Morales,
and that was a lot of fun. For a few
months prior to him getting there, it was a deep
dive into studying basically all things Charlie Kirk and biblical citizenship.

(06:25):
And then I just a week and a half before
he passed, when I was in my orientation, I got
to meet him again at headquarters and that was pretty wonderful.
The first time he walked past, I wasn't expecting to
see this giant person I respect so much, so I
kind of choked when I saw him, was like, gosh,

(06:46):
there is And the second he came in and he
talked to the Vegas team myself in Guadaloupe, and then
we got to kind of fellowship a little bit there.
I was pretty pretty wonderful and blessed to have that opportunity.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Did do so how about you?

Speaker 6 (07:01):
So yeah, you know, I'll.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Say Charlie's height brought me off guard as well. How
tall was he? Or?

Speaker 5 (07:07):
I believe six four?

Speaker 6 (07:08):
He got really tall gentlemen. And the first time I
saw him was at an event that he had at
the Las Vegas Strip and there was a big convention
going on there, all things turning points. And I approached
my ass if I could take a photo with him,
and he was ever so graciously agreed, and it was
just dous a special moment because it got to tell me, Okay,
this is someone that is humble, he practices what he preaches.

(07:30):
He's there to talk with you a converse a few
I just loved the more I learned about turning point
action and turning point USA about what they did, the
more I wanted to get involved, but I didn't know
exactly how to get involved until then.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Okay, okay, so we're gonna go. We're gonna alternate the questions. So, Kimny,
before we even get to your question, you have four children.
What are their ages?

Speaker 5 (07:55):
Oh? So, yeah, we've got a fourteen year old. He's
going at fifteen almost twelve eight, and is about to
be one.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
And so you're doing homeschooling for three children. How is
that experience?

Speaker 5 (08:09):
It's fantastic. I love it. There's so much freedom in
it and it's such a struggle and fun. But everything
we do is geared towards educating our kids.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Right.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
So my son, my teenager, comes with me on these events.
We talk about what the First Amendment is, and homeschooling
is not just in the home. We take it outside too,
and we live out our faith in oh my gosh,
every aspect we can. And then any opportunity for a
field trip is fantastic. We take advantage of field trips
within our family, so we're always out learning and then

(08:41):
practicing what we preach. It's a lot of I love
homeschooling every parent. If you're able to, you should do it.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Get plugged in.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
There's a lot of support homeschool your kids, rescue them
from CCSD.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
So, Marlon and your bio, you state that you are
dedicated to shaping culture through media, faith and civic engagement.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
First.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Doesn't the mainstream media negatively shape culture? Right now?

Speaker 6 (09:07):
It most absolutely does At one point. I just think
that that's their entire mission behind it all, is just
to misshape us as badly as they can.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Okay, And so now you want to counter the mainstream media,
and so how are you going to do that?

Speaker 6 (09:21):
Yeah, well, you know I would just backtrack and say
I don't even want to. I have to because we
have no other option. And I think the way that
we do so is by being that counter protester that
exists online as well. We have to make sure that
it's a unified front. There are just so many sporadic
movements happening within the conservative movement. Someone has to try

(09:44):
to corral people. And I guess as far as gen
Z goes in Las Vegas, that's kind of my job
right now.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
So you've mentioned gen Z. I know we're baby boomers. Yeah, Well,
Garland likes to say he was born in the first
half of the twentieth century and I was born in
the second half, thank you. But anyhow, so what is
the gen Z? What is the age group for them?

Speaker 6 (10:10):
A great question. So gen Z starts as early as
nineteen ninety seven, so it would be ages twenty eight,
which I am. My birthday is December thirty first, nineteen
ninety six, so I'm technically a day too old to
be gen Z myself. And then it goes as young
as age. I believe age fourteen is the cutoff, so

(10:32):
that is our demographic. It's a wide range.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Is that twenty eleven?

Speaker 6 (10:36):
Then I can't do math, but yes, that's somewhere around that.
That sounds pretty about right.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Hey all right then, so getting back to the question,
how are you going to engage these gen z ers?
Is that what they're called?

Speaker 6 (10:52):
Yeah, you know, I think that the first way to
engage them is to be on the platforms that they
are on. And so that's why I am an advocate
of being boots on the ground, which is ironically because
it's mainly an online thing that we're working on, but
we have to be outside of echo chambers. As much
as I love to see what goes on in X
I love to see what goes on and rumble. I

(11:12):
can't be in there because that's not where the majority
of my audience is. I have to be in the
toxic chambers. I have to see what is going through
their mindset right, what exists in TikTok? What content are
they consuming? Because if I don't know what we're battling against,
I have no answer to that.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Okay, So, Kimmy, you are an Air Force vet. How
long did you serve?

Speaker 5 (11:34):
I am. I served for a total of six years.
I started in the Army National Guard in Arizona, and
then when that wasn't enough for me, I decided I
needed to go full time Air Force. Yes, I really
like airplanes. I've never got to be closer to the
flight line than just driving munitions across. But that I
love the Air Force. Well.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
I had opportunity to take a flying lesson, and I'll
tell you this, if I could afford it, I would
be taking the list. I would have had my license
by now.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
What's your favorite aircraft? Oh?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
No, no, it's just the feeling of being up in
the air. You know, every time I see a plane
or jet go via, I said, I'm just agreed. Living
that moment in my life, in my life where I
got to take off in the gym, I didn't want
to land, but taking off that was so exciting, and

(12:27):
then flying over the Red Rock. It's just anyone can
do that. You may take that opportunity to try to
take a lesson. At least.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
I was a young eagle in high school, so I
got to do a little cessna.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah that was that was it was smaller than a sessa, Yes, yes,
it was.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
But anyhow, so you were in the Air Force and
then you you have to what you were disjoined because.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Of a got injured during a training accident, not even
anything fun. Now my friends have war stories, and I
got hurt just into training exercise out here at Ellis
And then I honestly, I didn't know what to do
with myself, Like, if I'm not going to be in
the military and serve my country, what am I gonna do?
I want to serve my community. So I figured, oh
my gosh, I'm going to be in the fire Service.

(13:17):
So bad not built for the heat, I'm not. It's
built to carry grown men out of building. So that's
how I ended up falling in love with ems. I
get to wear the uniform. I get to be part
of a fur Oh my gosh, a servant leadership role
in the community. And I love medicine. Broken bones and
blood and guts is my jam.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (13:38):
It was so much fun.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
So how long were you first responding?

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Did that for justh I have seven years, and it
was one of the most rewarding things I ever did
in my life. I didn't want to give that up,
but I had to be a stay at home mom
so I could homeschool my kids because COVID entered the scene.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah, and so you definitely have a I'm going to
it's a service mentality because you want to serve your community,
your country.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
So yes, I love my country. Nine to eleven is
what did it for me. I was in high school
and I watched what happened in New York City and
I was, Oh, I was going to be the one
to go get bed launden and that's why I was
ROTC my full high school career and then Army National
Guard as soon as I turned seventeen, and I was
going to be it in the military forever. And so

(14:25):
if I can't serve my nation. I'm going to serve
my community and then we even the kids will do
push ups with us. And we have a very militant style,
a type personality, but we love our country.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Our next meeting of the Conservative Town Hall of North
Las Vegas is Thursday, December fourth, from eleven thirty to
one thirty at eighteen seventy West Craig Road, North Las Vegas.
We'll be hosting our third annual Christmas party and toy
drive for children in Clark County foster Care. Also a
shout out to our sponsor. One of our sponsors retired

(15:01):
with Tender, Colonel David Flipple, and he's running for a
congressional District four.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Okay, I just want our audience to know that we're collecting.
This is the third year that we will be collecting
toys for kids in foster care. And I have an
affinity towards children in foster care because in California, I
spent ten years representing parents in the Juvenile Dependency Court

(15:28):
and that's where if you don't know whether whether the
CPS comes in and removes the children from the home.
And then afterwards I said, well, the parents weren't really
a lot of them were not doing what they needed
to do to reunify with their children, and so I
decided I'll represent the children now. And that was more
rewarding because you know, it made it. It was a

(15:52):
definite that they would be taking care of in a
home that was loving, that really wanted them. A lot
of children were adopted it out, particularly if they were
under eighteen months old. And so that's my connection with
foster care. But anyhow, getting back to you, Marlon, you
have a marketing agency and your bio says you utilize

(16:17):
high impact storytelling as a marketing technique. Can you explain
that to our listeners please?

Speaker 6 (16:23):
Yeah, you know, I think marketing for me, it started
out as something very basic and fundamental, which is I
recently got married and this was back almost eight years ago, right,
I'm thinking, as a newlywed, what do I do to
provide for a living. I took an internship at a
mortgage company. I was doing marketing for them, and I

(16:43):
was accelerating at a pretty high level. I thought, you
know what, let's just start our own business, babe. That's
what we're going to do. And so that's what marketing
meant for me. It was simply a way to make
a living, and slowly and steadily started becoming something else.
It started becoming more mission driven, even so much to
the point where I started off a branch of my
agency that was specifically focused on political efforts, and so

(17:06):
the impact part of the marketing really took route once
I started developing the why. And I think if you're
a young person listening and you're saying, well, I'm too
young to have a why, don't worry. You'll get that
why eventually. I think life has a way of hitting you,
whether it's COVID or being overruled by a whole bunch
of leftists, crazy people, something will give you your why.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Callers, please call in. I know you're listening looking at
the forty nine or Panther game, and we have it
on here too, but you can turn the sound down
and you can call in with your question. Seven zero
two two two one seven two eight three. And so, Marlon,
we met last year when I was running for office.
I came to get a headshot done for you, and

(17:51):
you guys did great work. Your wife was the photographer. Yes,
that's great. And so how has that business grown since then?

Speaker 6 (17:59):
Yeah, it's been doing pretty spectacularly. I'm blessed to say so.
We've had a number of interactions with professional athletes, so
funny enough, I am not an NBA watcher, but we've
been working with quite a few NBA players, and we
hope to grow our relations with some soccer leagues as well.
So it's been a really amazing ride. It's it's quite

(18:21):
a fulfilling thing. Not quite as fulfilling as the work
I'm currently doing, but I still I love it, dearly.
It's it's my first baby that I ever had, was
my business.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Okay, So, Kimy, you're currently the TPA Action Field Rep
for Las Vegas Clark County. Just tell us about what
some of your duties are there.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Oh my goodness, it's so much fun. So organizing grassroots
warriors to stand boldly and pick up the mic, so
to speak, and take your values into the.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Oh, excuse me. We have a caller.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Hello, caller, Hello, Yes, it's doctor Howell Shaw here.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
How are you do you have? So you have a
question for our speak our guests this evening.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Hell absolutely absolutely well. First of all, I just want
to shout out to uh kimming in Tomorrowlin, I mean
they're they're just working really really hard right now, you know,
and we're all getting ready for next year. Next year
is can be big because you know, unfortunately, since it's

(19:34):
a non presidential election, we have to work twice as
hard to get the people out. But it's could be
something that we need to do. So thanks you too
for getting up there and you know, getting visibility that's
super super important.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
So thank you.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
So, how did you have a question or you just
wanted to make that comment and compliment.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Question is, yeah, the question is is what is TP
Action kind of thinking of doing to do these things
to get people motivated to get them out and you know,
showing up with their ballots and such in November.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Okay, well, hold on, we have another caller. Hold on
a caller.

Speaker 7 (20:21):
Hello, Hello, and is Brian.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Brian Hi, Brian helly, And what is your question?

Speaker 7 (20:30):
Yes, my question is on question six, something that's near
and dear in my heart. I'm a big pro life
person here in Nevada. And the question is, like, we
have such a monumental task because I know it passed
by nine hundred thousand to five hundred thousand, so how
can we as citizens here and being for a turning

(20:52):
point action being friends with turning for action. What can
we do to change that?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Okay, thank you for your question, Brian, and we'll have
kemmy address.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
Then awesome sas thank you sir for being a warrior
for life. So I would say one of our alliance partners,
if you know Melissa Clement with Nevada Right to Life,
they are raising up ambassadors. The training is available for
you to be able to speak to friends, families, neighbors,
whoever you need to speak to in order to share
with them what is actually on the ballot for question six.

(21:24):
And they are having a online training on December third
at six pm to seven pm and you can actually
go to Nevada Right to Life dot org to sign
up for that ambassador training. And this is important to
share with your friends, families, everybody, because this is a
conversation that is best we best win over those folks
that don't know what they're voting for when we have

(21:46):
those one on one conversations and to mobilize the vote
on this, I believe it's going to be the church
that will boldly explain because overwhelmingly they voted this for this.
In fact, I believe the statistics for evangelical Christians was
over seventy percent of church going Christians voted yes on this.
That's that's like an education issue, so we need to

(22:07):
talk about it.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Okay, thank you Brian for your question, and thank you
doctor Shaw. Are you still there? I am, thank you
God bless you too, Brian, doctor Shall. Did you have
a question. I know you wanted you were talking about
our guests working for a turning point, but did you

(22:28):
have an actual question?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Yes, the question was what are their plans for turning
point action in order to get those voters to the
ballot box in November of next year.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Okay, and thank you doctor Shaw for your question.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
Thank you very much, doctor Shaw. So doctor doctor Shaw,
you're part of this all you, sir, You and the
Faith Coalition and rounding up pastors to talk to them
boldly about what's going on and mobilizing the church. That's huge.
And then Marlin gen Z that's another demographic, so I'll
let him talk about his thank but turning point action

(23:08):
precinct leaders, because neighbors, this is how we win. We
talk to our neighbors. If we're going to love like
Christ loved, we need to talk to our neighbors, so
the Precinct Captain Development program, and then building out our
coalitions and just getting the message out and then activating,
go to the school board meetings, go to city hall,
talk about the issues, share what's educate, what does our

(23:30):
constitution mean? That's how we're going to be doing it.
Efforts and efforts like growing the coalitions and people like
Pastor Pastor Howell and Marlin that stepped up for such
a time as this, And.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
Then I think the best way to do so is
we have to build up the trust within the conservative youth.
Right now, we're at a schism where there is not
enough trust. Even those conservative youth that believed in our
cause enough to maybe sign up for a turning point
coalition membership, they still have a heavy amount of distrust

(24:02):
for other members in the conservative movement, other Republicans that
are rhinos or even those that claim to be mainline
Republicans or however you want to phrase it.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
So what's the mistrust and do you know what their
issues are that you can share with us?

Speaker 6 (24:16):
I think it's an execution thing. You have events where
people get elected into office, they promise one thing they
don't deliver, and gen Z is extremely mistrustful, and I
count myself in that I'm extremely mistrussful. So even when
we're doing these things, and to answer your question, doctor,
one of the things we want to do is make

(24:36):
sure that there is spaces where gen Z can speak
and not just be present, not just hand out cookies,
but actually have their opinions heard. There are many events
that are conservative events to where all they have gen
Z doing is handing out cookies, and we need that
a change.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
And you're listening to Talk with a Conservative.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Las Vegas's time for straight talk and real solutions.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
We're breaking down the issues that matter to you.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
From the strip to main street. We're keeping it real
for hard working.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Americans with no spend, just the truth.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Las Vegas and America.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
This is Talk with a Conservative, open conversation with intelligent explanation.

Speaker 8 (25:26):
Let's talk Talk with the Conservative Monday Night's at seven
pm with your host Call It and Patricia Brinley on

Speaker 1 (26:22):
You're tuned into talk with a Conservative for reason still
rules and free speech still matters.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Stay with us. More truth, more insight, and more straight
talk coming up next.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
And we have another caller. Hello caller, Hello, Yes, and
you are.

Speaker 9 (26:43):
My name is Travis.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Travis.

Speaker 9 (26:45):
Welcome, Travis, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
I have a quick question for I guess.

Speaker 9 (26:50):
Both of them. What kind of events are we looking
forward to to kind of get people hyped up for
the next election? For maybe Lombardo or just the governor race. Like,
what kind of events are kind of being set into
place where we can invite a lot of people and
get the word out.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Okay, Marlon, you want to start?

Speaker 6 (27:08):
Yeah, you know, I think a big one that we
have been discussing is a debate night. We want to
hear what our gen Z Las Vegas locals have to say.
We want to see how strong they are their opinions,
and once they have that opportunity to speak up, then
they'll want to provide service. Right, and if we expect
service from gen Z, we have to give them those
opportunities to feel heard, because when people feel heard, that's
when they want to take action.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
Kimmy, Oh, I'm so glad for that question. Thank you
so much. We have a series of kickoff events that
we're going to be starting in throughout Clark County beginning
in the new year. We're going to have you come
out and meet the coalition leaders, hear what they have
to say, what they've been doing, talk about our wins,
and we're going to energize this movement. We are Charlie Kirk,

(27:51):
and we are this is a force to be reckoned
with and super excited. We're before February, we're going to
have some amazing kickoff events and then throughout the year
we're talking rallies, town halls. It's going to be awesome.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Okay, thank you Travis for your call.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
You.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
So, Marlon was talking about gen Z. They do not
trust even though they voted in large numbers for President Trump.
Right now, they just do not trust the Republican Party.
And so I want you to explain a little bit
more to our listeners about why that this trust is

(28:33):
there with them.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (28:35):
I think when there is conversation that is divisive, and
I think that's the worst thing that can happen. As
much as I love President Trump, there are certain statements
that are just too divisive that pull people apart. For example,
you can be a conservative and still listen to Tucker Carlson.
You can be a conservative and still listen to Candas.
You can be a conservative and still like Thomas Massey.

(28:57):
You can do these things. However, when you create this
alienated space where it's either you are this side or
that side, or you're not a true conservative, it's much
like the the you know, Christian fallacy that we have.
Right if if you don't believe this. You're not a
real Christian. And I hate those kind of statements. So
I don't want this to be a space to where
we are so quick to exclude people where we are

(29:19):
already kind of you know, sparse in numbers because a
lot of people are closet conservatives. The last thing we
want is someone coming out of conservative and us pointing
the finger and saying you're not conservative enough. So I
think that's where there's a lot of trust that gen
Z wants to know if they will be considered conservative
enough to join the movement. And my overwhelming answer is yes,

(29:40):
let's work, let's talk. There's space for everyone.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
We're supposed to be the big tent party, and so
we should be welcoming of all different interpretations of what
a conservative is as long as it fits the core values.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Go ahead, thank you for listening. We're on seven O
two two seven eight three. You should be calling in
a reference that Kimmy made to biblical citizenship and so
everyone knows Doctor how Shaw teaches that class and also
Constitutional live along with Alex Slack. Now there are two
different classes or given the same class to different ways. Kimmy,

(30:18):
when you talked about that. Was that what you were
referring to.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Oh my goodness, yes, Biblical Citizenship with Rick Green. Fun fact,
Actually Pastor hal Shaw has an event, battle Born Freedom
Conference that's going to be taking place on January tenth,
nine am to six pm. The lineup is huge. Rick
Green is going to be there. He's the guy that
is head of Patriot Academy. You guys heard that story.

(30:42):
It's going to be a Bill Fetterer is going to
be there. Everyone should register for this event. It's a
taste of what Biblical citizenship is and sign up for
the course. There's six weeks, four weeks. There's even a
lunch hour course for Biblical Citizenship. But if you want
to get an incredible event with lots of constitution, lots
of education, Battle Born Freedom Conference Saturday, January tenth. It's

(31:06):
going to be at Calvary Red Rock. Of course, all
the good events are. There's pricing and I have a
website if I can share at the end at.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
The end, or we can do it later so as
everyone knows, Garland and I both took Biblical citizens and
we also took Constitution Alive with Alex Slack, and I
would just highly recommend that if you haven't taken any
of those courses before, this is a good time. And

(31:36):
even if you do have a slight knowledge of the Constitution,
this is takes a deep dive into it. It goes
into what the founders were thinking when they came up
with the Constitution. So I highly recommend that.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
And so everyone knows Doctor how Shaw has been on
our show before and he'll be coming out again.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
See will next month. Yes, so yeah, so let me
see where.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Are we and you can always call in a seven
o two two one seven eight three. I want to
give a shout out to our upcoming uh.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Uh town hall.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Town hall. That's it. Oh, one of those senior moments.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I'm not a general moment on air, please okay. So, also, Marlin,
you support the mission of Stop the Traffic Foundation. I
saw a little video you had on Facebook, and so
I want to make sure that we talk about human trafficking.
People don't realize that Las Vegas is one is like

(32:38):
the epicenter of it.

Speaker 6 (32:40):
Correct, Yeah, it's number two in the nation, and it's
such a shameful thing that we have to deal with.
But with all things, you know, Christ brings all things
to light. And while the Softer Traffic Organization is not
necessarily a Christian organization, all the founders, all the board members,
we are Christian. We are Conservatives. So if if the
cause of helping children is of any importance to your listeners,

(33:03):
please consider learning more about it. We will have a
care conference this December sixth, so look up the Stop
the Traffic Foundation and you can learn more there.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Okay, we have a question off of our x account.
How can young conative conservatives give specific solutions to economic
problems facing solving for the future. I'm sorry, I'll read
it again. I can't read this handwriting. How can young

(33:33):
conservatives give specific solutions to economic problems solving for the future?

Speaker 6 (33:40):
Marlon, Well, here's a solution that I was actually given.
So I am always receptive to what my gen Z
non constituents, but my gen Z people have to say,
and one of them actually proposed this, and according to
this is something that's currently being discussed about, is that
they're wanting to introduce a ninety credit degree and introducing

(34:06):
that into UNLV will be major the opportunity for people
to get their degrees faster and enter into the workforce faster,
and to not have to deal with the requirements of
having liberal arts classes, so that's one of the main things.
So they want to remove needing to have one hundred
and twenty credits by removing these electives that I would

(34:26):
call non essential. Sorry, if you're an art major, guess what.
I was also an artist in my yu Idaho where
I went, I was an illustration degree. But sorry, we
have to get people into the workforce. And so if
you want to talk about economic solutions, there's an idea
it's being discussed.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
I would highly recommend. If you haven't listened to Patrick
bet David, he just recently did a podcast where someone
also asked that question, because the home ownership is hard,
how is gen Z ever going to own a home?
And the message he had his talking point was incredible stocks,
it's equity, it's ownership and something if it's not going
to be in a house, because the average buying age

(35:06):
now is about forty years old in the US. Entrepreneurship
and investing in the company where you're working, and if
the company that you're working at doesn't have a stock
option for you to become invested, then it might be
time to move on and look for a place where
you can invest your growth and so you have skin
in the game. So maybe there's and I'm almost forty,

(35:28):
I'm almost a grown up, but we still have skin
in this game. And if home ownership is an issue,
then all right, let's invest in our companies, let's put
our money where our mouth is, and let's start moving
forward where I think small business owners gen Z's not lost.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
We got this.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
And then a lot of people prefer the condominium life,
and that's fantastic that I've been to a place recently.
It's almost like concierge all the time. People live at
Trump Tower. I didn't know they actually did that. So
I don't have to have five acres and a bunch
of horses to consider your self conservative. The other ways
that we can do this and be successful and have
a future with a hope.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
And besides college as it's a trade schools, so people
could go to absolutely very good futures and income and.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
Jobs that AI can't take over. We need plumbers, we
need electricians, We need people that go out and out
here hvac. They make a killing out there in the
summertime hvac. It hurts, it's a hard job, but we
do need the trade jobs. We need people that are
willing to be not just a piece of paper with
lots of fancy stuff on there. Like I almost got
my BSN and I was like, that's not for me.

(36:35):
I'm not going to do it because I don't like
computer work honestly, So get a skilled trade. That's what
I'm trying to get my son. Either we're going to
be a constitutional lawyer or we're going to work in
My father in law is a plumber, so let's let's
get them in a skilled trade like that. It'll have
a job for life.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Okay, And this is a question from our producer. My goodness,
corporate greed. I can't read what the other word, but but.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
Can make corporate greedy. So are we talking about people
sending jobs overseas because they want to.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Not pay No, I guess they meant more corporations they'll
do anything to get a buck, and then they'll know
their services go down, their products go down, just to
get the buck. And so I think that's what he means.

Speaker 5 (37:23):
Well, me as a consumer just means be smart about
where I'm spending my money. So if there's an if
there's a product that I really want, I mean, what
does the company represent. We vote with our dollar. Remember
Budweiser and when their values went sideways and we all said,
we just don't drink that beer anymore. We're gonna pick

(37:43):
a different I don't drink beer, but if I did,
that's how we do it. So if they're gonna be
greedy and buy into like ESG and DEI policies, find
do some homework.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Okay, so he clarified it. So he wants to know
what we're gonna do about Well, these corporations underpaying Americans,
but they still want low taxes. And so we saw
that with a lot of companies being rated by ICE.
You know, employees are illegals, and so this is a

(38:14):
job that could have gone to Americans. So Marlon, what
do you think about that?

Speaker 6 (38:17):
That is a fantastic question. And I actually received an
idea again from debate night at UNLV because we have
a lot of smart people here, which is limit the
ability for these corporations to outsource. I don't care if
it's cheaper to outsource. We have to put limits on it,
and we have to make incentives for people to want
to do those quote unquote undesirable jobs. If it only

(38:39):
pays a dollar an hour for an immigrant to pick strawberries.
Let's incentivize that and actually pay twenty dollars an hour
for them to pick strawberries. As for citizens to pick strawberries.
I know it's going to be a sacrifice, but it's
worth it because we are building back internally. We're making
America great again. We can't make America great again if
we keep outsourcing to other countries, special the other countries

(39:01):
that hate us.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
And so we have another caller on the line, caller.

Speaker 10 (39:05):
Hello, how's it going?

Speaker 1 (39:07):
Yes, and you are.

Speaker 10 (39:10):
Named texts from Arizona.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Then texts from Arizona. Hello, Ben, So what is your question?

Speaker 5 (39:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (39:18):
So my question is I know that the Democrats have
like full control of Nevada's legislature, and especially after like
twenty thirty, the sun Belt is going to be determining elections.
So my questions were the turning point. Lady, what's turning
point going to be doing to try to like completely
flip Nevada so that we can have full control over it.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
I'm so glad you asked that text from Arizona. Thank you,
Ben doors Win Wars That's how we're going to do this.
We're going to outpace the Democrats. We're going to go
talk to our neighbors and we're going to get those ballots.
That's how we do this. This is how we win.
Charlie Kirk's one of his last podcasts September first, he
talked about where do the grassroots go next, and it

(40:03):
was the whole thing was about precinct level work. It's
precinct level work. So that's what we're gonna do. We're
gonna build up the precinct with NCCRP. We're gonna we're
gonna activate every grassroot warriors and we're going to go
knock on those doors and we're gonna collect those ballots.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
And you're listening to talk with a conservative.

Speaker 11 (40:31):
Snyder's the Novata Stule Pub invitce you to play the

(40:52):

Nevada Style Pub at eighty four ten West in seventeen
fifty North Buffalo and Love Vegas, Bulevard and Windmills.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
I love it.

Speaker 10 (41:01):
Place.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
You're listening to Talk with a Conservative. Great tradition reads truth.
Thanks for joining us on Talk with a Conservative. Will
keeps standing for liberty, faith and family because America is
worth the fight.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
So Kimmy's going to complete her explanation of her opinion
on a corporate greed.

Speaker 5 (41:30):
Oh yeah, thank you so much. So this is an
important subject for all Americans. I think I'll keep it
really brief because I want to talk about Jesus. But
if you listen to the pastor johnaman Chuku, he just
recently ousted in Marjorie Taylor Green because she flipped she
was for mass deportation and then suddenly businesses and money

(41:52):
got in the way, so now she's kind of flipping
her position on it. So I think it's incredibly insulting
to our to need minority to think that they're not cable,
they don't deserve that wage, and there's not indentered servitude
in this country, so we need to pay a fair
wage for all jobs. Exactly. It's awesome.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
I love you American citizens.

Speaker 5 (42:11):
Yes, American citizens first. Yes, to wrap that up, Pastor
Johaman Chukhu should listen to him to he's that fantastic
insight on it.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Okay, So before we are in the show, I just
wanted both of you because you both brought it up
mentioned faith in your biles. So tell us how your
faith dictates your life. Marlon.

Speaker 6 (42:34):
I think faith has been my stronghold and many times
has been the only thing holding myself up. There are
challenges that we face in this life, and we have
to realize that even people like myself and Kimmy, we're
real people. Okay, We're not you know, these these statues
that are hired by turning point or something. You know,
we are real people, real challenges. And for me, uh,

(42:55):
there's been a number of personal challenges in my life
to where I know that my savior, Jesus Christ has
been the only thing keeping me up alongside with my wife,
who's also a pillar to me, and so I need
to pay that back. I know that the debt can
never be fully repaid because we are just humans. But
the only thing we can do is continue to spread
the Gospel and spread the word. And one of the

(43:17):
ways I do that is by this movement, so that
people can understand that it's okay to love God, so
that people never lose the opportunity to worship their God
because that is at risk. And so if we want
to be more christ Like, we must preserve this country
that allows us to worship Christ.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
And Kimmy, oh goodness, Jesus is everything. He's king. It's
the Holy Spirit. I wake up in the morning, I say,
where are we going? How are we doing this? Just Lord,
let it be you and not me. Let me lean
on your wisdom and not my own understanding, and just
full surrender. And it wasn't until I said I am
done trying to take the wheel and just rendered to

(44:00):
the Holy Spirit that life got wild. And I like
my white knuckle fun I tell you what, But they're
just walking with Christ. Is absolutely incredible. And this is
where you get to evangelize. Learning what the Constitution was
founded on learning how to fight for the unborn, fight
for those that are the widow, for the orphan. That
this is the lane that I'm in, and it just

(44:22):
so happens to be that electing the right officials does
the job. And if you read the book of Exodus,
oh my goodness, you thought Moses had it bad. He's
getting judges in there and representative officials for each tribe.
And I thought, what a beautiful way, Lord Jesus, that
you managed to implement government. And I'm glad to be
part of that. But he is king of the universe everything.

(44:45):
If it's not Christ's verse, I don't want no part
of it.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Well, before we end the show, Kimmy and Marlon, are
there any final thoughts, comments, or any events you want
our list? There's to know about.

Speaker 5 (45:03):
Vote. You know, if you have a neighbor that's not
registered to vote, get them registered to vote. We have
a battle to win. This is actually a battle. Need
to get registered. Please come to this event that Pastor
Howe is doing in January, the Battleborn Freedom Conference, and
then be on the lookout for turning Point Action kickoff
events throughout the county. This is a movement.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
You will not be stopped.

Speaker 5 (45:27):
Pick up the mic. Do not be afraid, be bold,
live fiercely, be bold and courageous.

Speaker 6 (45:35):
Marlyn I would say, follow gen Z Coalition. Follow us.
We are on all platforms, primarily on Instagram. It's gen
Z Underscore Vegas and you'll see that we're actually recruiting
for more coalition members. So if you like what you hear,
if you have any interest in making an impact in
your community, now is your opportunity right test your leadership.

(45:56):
If you don't like the leadership that's in Las Vegas,
if you don't like the conservative leadership that's in Las Vegas.
If you think you can do it better, then do
it better. Get out there. And for those that are
probably going to make an effort, those that are running
for office right now. If you need help from your
gen Z people, guess what you got to put in
the service. They want to see that you're working because
we're watching the internet. Doesn't forget if you sit around

(46:17):
all day just hoping for people to knock on their doors.
We're not going to knock on your doors if we
don't see that you are truly committed to making America
a great again.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
And I'd like to give a shout out for our sponsor,
retired Lieutenant Colonel David Pipple It's Center for a Congressions
District for.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
Thank you for your service. Kimmy and I want to
thank our guests Kimmy Johnson, Lindsay of Turning Point Action
Faith Coalition and Marlon Medena, chairman of gen Z for
Turning Point. Also, I want to thank our callers this evening,
Doctor hal Shaw, thank you, Brian, thank you, Travis, thank you,

(46:55):
and Bin Texts from Arizona, thank you so much for
calling in. And also we want to give a shout
out to seven seventy five Alive. It's going to be
alive in our studio next week as our guests and
we just want to thank them for their support. And
to you are listeners. You're the ones that make it

(47:19):
a priority to tune into TWACK every Monday evening. We
appreciate your support and encouragement. God bless you, and God
bless America.
