Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
In today's episode, we're going to continue taking a look
at Jennifer Aureos and her claims against Jeffrey Epstein's estate.
So let's get right back to it. Seventy eight. Plaintiff
was initially recruited under false pretenses and not informed that
(00:21):
she would be asked to perform massages sexual or otherwise.
Defendants enable Jeffrey Epstein to receive near daily massages from
young females, often miners, who were not experienced in massage.
Rather than receive regular body massages, Epstein was predictably sexually
abusing the young females in violation of Article one thirty
(00:44):
seventy nine. Additionally, employees of the various corporate defendants and
institutional defendants performed actions or in actions that further place victims,
including plaintiff, in danger of being sexually abused by Epstein
and assists in the concealment of his sexually abusive acts.
Number eighty defendants employed many recruiters of young females. The
(01:07):
nature of Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking venture and enterprise enabled
victims themselves to elevate their status to that of a
paid recruiter of other victims, an elevation only made possible
through the negligence of defendants. Eighty one. Recruiters were taught
by employees of defendant to inform targeted victims that Epstein
(01:28):
possessed extraordinary wealth, power, resources, and influence, and that he
was a philanthropist who would help female victims advanced their
careers and their lives. Eighty two. The collaboration from defendants
and the many employees fulfilled Epstein's conpulsive need for sex
with young females by praying on their personal, psychological, financial,
(01:50):
and related vulnerabilities. Defendants tactics included promising the victim's money, shelter, transportation, gifts, employment,
admission into educational institutions, educational tuition, protection, and other things
of value in exchange for sex and concealment of Jeffrey
Epstein's actions. Number eighty three. Jeffrey Epstein's sexual attraction to young,
(02:14):
often underage females dated back to at least the mid nineties,
and the number of victims increased substantially with the necessary
assistance from the defendants and the defendants employees. Number eighty
four defendants, at the direction of Epstein, were, in furtherance
of his demands, and, with help from assistance associates and
underlings and even other victims, recruited or procured dozens, if
(02:38):
not hundreds of young females, including miners, for the purpose
of Epstein's sexual gratification eighty five. Jeffrey Epstein and consequently
the defendants specifically targeted underprivileged, emotionally vulnerable, and or economically
disadvantaged young females to sexually molest and abuse eighty six. Additionally,
(03:01):
the institutional defendants, through its employees, informed young females that
Jeffrey was wealthy, well connected, and could either advance the
career or education of any young female. Eighty seven. Plaintiff
was among individuals identified by the United States Attorney's Office
for the Southern District of New York as victims of
(03:23):
Jeffrey Epstein and as co conspirators upon information and belief
whose testimony in part it intended to base its federal
prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein for his illegal conduct. Part number four.
Missarreos and the recruiter eighty eight child victim plaintiff Jennifer
ARREOs was subjected to the types of illegal sexual acts
(03:46):
detailed in the criminal indictment filed against Jeffrey Epstein by
the Southern District of New York eighty nine. Jeffrey Epstein
committed abhorrent acts of sexual abuse against plaintiff in two
thousand and one and tand TiO two when she was
only fourteen years old ninety Miss Areos was born in
Saint John's Hospital in Queens on February fifth, nineteen eighty seven.
(04:09):
Ninety one. She grew up poor and largely raised by
her mother, a single parent in Middle Village, Queens. Ninety two.
The loss of her father at twelve caused emotional vulnerability
and issues surrounding the lack of having a father figure
in her life. Ninety three. Miss Areos was a prime
target for grooming by a pedophile like Jeffrey Epstein ninety four.
(04:32):
In September of two thousand and one, at age fourteen,
Miss Areos entered high school. She attended a special public
high school for performing arts called Talent Unlimited High School,
where she majored in musical theater, singing, dancing, acting ninety five.
Its campus is within the Julia Richmond Education Complex along
(04:55):
with five other schools, Urban Academy, Vanguard High School P
two two six, M Junior High Annex, Ella Baker Elementary School,
and Manhattan International High School ninety six. Because Talent Unlimited
High School is a special high school for the performing arts,
students' audition to be accepted, the school had approximately five
(05:16):
hundred students ninety seven. During the first semester of Miss
Aureos freshman year of high school, while she was fourteen
years old, after school one day, she was approached by
a brunette woman who appeared to be in her early
twenties on the sidewalk in front of her school. The woman,
who we shall refer to as the recruiter, tried to
befriend her. Ninety eight. Upon information and belief, defendants Maxwell
(05:41):
Groff and Espinoza identified and hired the recruiter on behalf
of Jeffrey Epstein to procure underage girls from Talented Unlimited
High School and other schools, and oversaw the process that
led to the recruitment and grooming of missus Aureos ninety nine.
The recruiter as miss arets where she lived, where her
(06:01):
parents were if they were together, where she was born,
and where her parents wereked one hundred. The recruiter approached
miss Areos repeatedly over the course of a week or two,
offering to take her for lunches close by the school,
and during the meals would continue to ask her personal
questions about her life. One oh one. At some point
during this approximate two week period, the recruiter began to
(06:24):
speak about Jeffrey Epstein, almost as if he was her
uncle or a family friend. One O two. The recruiter
said that Epstein was a nice guy and that he
takes care of her and her family. The recruiter spoke
lowingly of Epstein, stating he is very wealthy and you
have to see his house. One O three. The recruiter
eventually said that she told Epstein about missus Areos, about
(06:46):
how pretty and smart she is, and about how she
recently lost her father to AIDS. One oh four. The
recruiter then told missus Areos that Epstein felt horrible about
the loss of her father and said that he wanted
to help her out out. The recruiter said that Epstein
is a caring guy, that he said she should not
be struggling, and that he wanted to be there fo
(07:08):
one oh five. The recruiter then said that she wanted
missus Areos to meet Epstein, that he knows a lot
of people in the acting and modeling world, and that
he could possibly help her and introduce her to the
right people for her career. The recruiter said Epstein wanted
to guide her. One o six, The recruiter said that
he was very caring, very wealthy, very successful, and someone
(07:30):
good to know. One oh seven. The recruiter said that
if missus Areos did not want to meet Epstein, she
did not have to, but doing so could benefit her.
The recruiter also enticed Miss Oreos by repeatedly saying how
Epstein's home is so beautiful and that it was right
here by missus Aureos school. One o eight. The recruiter
(07:51):
said that they could go by Epstein's house together one
oh nine. One day, the recruiter made plans with miss
Oreos to meet after school, to visit Atstein's home and
to meet them Part five. Epstein's sexual assault, battery and
rape of missus Aureos. One ten. Upon arrival at Epstein's
at ninety seventy one Street in New York, miss Areos
(08:13):
and the recruiter were greeted at the front door by
the maid, Miss Fontania, who brought them to the secretary,
Miss Groff, to wait. When Epstein came to greet them,
he appeared very welcoming, even humble. One to eleven. Inside
the front door, there were many security cameras pointing in
all directions on the little TVs. Miss ARREOs could actually
(08:34):
see herself on the camera walking inside. One twelve. Epstein
gave Miss Areos a tour of the first floor of
the house, but he did not show her the massage room,
not in the beginning. One thirteen. Instead, during the first
time at Epstein's New York residence, he showed her a
trophy room as she entered, filled with taxidermied animals he'd
allegedly hunted over the years. One fourteen. The room had
(08:58):
marble floors with the extremely high ceilings, mahogany wood with
deep reds, and was filled with exotic, even endangered animals,
including a giraffe and other rare specimens, including a stuffed tiger.
Their skins were covering parts of the floor with more
exotic animals one fifteen. As one might expect, Epstein's house
was massive when one walked in. The huge entry door
(09:22):
was in the middle of the city block, and upon
entry there was a set of marble stairs in the
entryway one sixteen. To the left there was Epstein's secretary
office with a waiting room couches and chairs. To the
right there was the trophy room filled with hunted animals.
There was also a kitchen on the same floor as
one cab. Walking forward, there was a spiral staircase with
(09:43):
a self portrait of Epstein on the wall, with a
young girl whom Epstein said he considered like a daughter.
One seventeen. On Miss Areo's first visit, she recalls she
and the recruiter waiting for Epstein and mis Groff's office,
where Miss gre Off was sitting behind the desk. Subsequently,
Miss Areos was offered cheese, crackers and wine in the
(10:05):
kitchen by Miss Fontania. In miss Grops and Miss Fontania's presence,
miss Areos identified that she was a freshman at the
local high school one eighteen. At this point Epstein showed
up to greet the girls and showed Miss Areos the
trophy room, of which appeared to be very proud of
one nineteen. At the end of the first visit, Miss
(10:26):
Areos recalls Epstein giving the recruiter a gift of a
digital camera. The recruiter then said to Miss Areos, you
see what I mean, He's such a nice guy. One
twenty Epstein then gave Miss Areos three hundred dollars in
cash on his first visit and said, here's a little
something to help you out. I take care of the
people I care about. One twenty one. He also told
(10:47):
Miss Areos that he was a big AIDS activist, which
meant a lot to Miss Areos at the time because
her father had recently passed away from the disease. One
twenty two. After an hour or two, Miss ARREOs and
the recruiter left together. One twenty three. Within a couple
of days, the recruiter reached out to Miss Areos and
said that she made a great impression on Epstein and
(11:09):
that he wanted to see her again. One twenty four.
At the time, Miss Aureos figured there was no harm,
as Epstein's house was only a couple of blocks from
her high school and at this point he had done
nothing to her to give her pause or cause for
her concern. One twenty five, So again the recruiter brought
ARREOs back to Epstein's New York residence after school one
(11:32):
twenty six. The second time Miss Areos went to Epstein's
New York residence, he gave Miss Areos the same camera
that he had previously given the recruiter on miss aureos
first visit to the home. One twenty seven. Miss Areos
visited Epstein's New York residence with the recruiter about once
or twice a week for the first month. Each time
(11:53):
Miss Aureos stayed between one and two hours, and at
the end of the stay, Epstein would either personally or
direct mississ Groff to give her three hundred in cash
and just say that he wanted to help her out,
while she and the recruiter would be served cheese, crackers
and wine by Miss Fontania. One twenty eight, miss Aarreos
openly discussed with Epstein in front of the recruiter, Miss Groff,
(12:15):
and Miss Fontania that she was a freshman at a
performing arts high school right down the street and that
her dream was to be an actress and the singer.
One twenty nine, after about a month of making these
visits to Epstein's New York residence, with the recruiter always
waiting with the recruiter in the Secretary's office, with Miss
Groff there at her desk. Miss Groff contacted Miss ARREOs
(12:37):
directly and scheduled arrangements for her visit to Epstein's home
alone for the first time, and gave Miss Aarreos instructions
for when she arrived. So, just to interject here once again,
how is it that Leslie Groff got off scott free?
How is it that Leslie Groff has never been brought
in and put under oath? Can somebody please explain that
to me? One point thirty. At this point, during miss
(13:00):
first visit alone, Epstein took Areos on the elevator for
the first time and showed her his massage room on
one of the upper floors one thirty one. The ceilings
of most of the rooms of the house were painted
with ornate murals, just like ancient Rome, Greece, and even
the Sistine Chapel. One thirty two. Upon showing Miss Areos
his massage room for the first time, Epstein said, I
(13:23):
want to show you something now. I love this room.
It's my favorite room in the house. One thirty three.
The massage room was on the smaller side compared to
the other rooms in the house. The ceiling was painted
to look like a blue sky with clouds and angels
to give the appearance that you were in heaven. Now,
think about how creepy that is. He has this whole
(13:44):
room set up in this kind of passive, calm manner,
but really, what's going on in this room is some
of the most monstrous bullshit that we've ever seen. One
thirty four, Epstein showed miss Areos the artwork in the
room and the massage table, stating that not too many
people know about this room. He then stated, you should
(14:04):
really be a model. You're beautiful. I bet your body
is incredible, and in order to help you with your
modeling career, I will need to see your body. One
thirty five. Epstein had a lot of paintings of nude
women on the walls. He even commented on one painting
of a nude woman with small breasts and brunette hair,
but you couldn't see her face clearly because she was
partially turned. That painting was right behind the massage table,
(14:27):
and he said how much the woman in the picture
looked like Miss Areos, then fourteen years old. One thirty six,
He said he liked girls with small breasts because they
were natural and real. He then complimented Miss Areos repeatedly
about her breast one thirty seven. He then told Miss
Areos again that she would do great in the modeling
industry and said that he had a lot of connections
(14:50):
in the modeling industry and that he could help her.
One thirty eight, still in the massage room, Jeffrey Epstein
quickly turned the encounter into a sexual encounter with a
then fourteen year old plaintiff, asking Miss Areos to take
off her top so he could see her body and frame,
which he insinuated he needed to do if he was
going to help her with her modeling career. He was
(15:12):
very complimentary. One thirty nine. Feeling uncomfortable and confused and
feeling trapped in Jeffrey Epstein's large mansion under the impression
that there was no feasible or safe means of escape,
Miss Aureos did as Epstein instructed. Epstein then immediately started
harmful forcibly physical touching and sexual exploitation of plaintiff, feeling
(15:34):
Miss Areo's breasts and rubbing her new shoulders. He then
asked her if she was good at giving massages, and
considering all the financial help that he had given her
family over the past month, insinuated that he would like one.
Epstein then walked out of the room, returned in a bathrobe.
He instructed Miss Areos to remove everything but her bottom
(15:56):
underwear and laid down on the massage table with only
a towel, in structing Miss Areos to proceed with a
back massage. Miss Areos recalls Epstein having a lot of
birthmarks and or freckles on his back. One forty one.
After massaging Epstein's back for about twenty to twenty five minutes,
Epstein suddenly turned over, removed his towel, and began masturbating
(16:18):
one forty two. Miss Areos, feeling uncomfortable and intimidated, stood
frozen to the side of the massage table as Epstein
ejaculated onto himself one forty three. Miss Areos recalls Epstein
having a lot of birthmarks and or freckles around his
genitilia area. One forty four. Epstein exposing his penis made
(16:39):
Miss Areos extremely nervous and uncomfortable, but she felt intimidated,
so she did as she was told. One forty five. Also,
Epstein insinuated that because of the money he gave her,
she owed him. Epstein says, I take care of you,
you take care of me. One forty six. He was
giving Miss Areos instructions and telling her what to do
the entire time. Epstein ultimately ejaculated on himself and then
(17:03):
it ended one forty seven. He said, this was amazing.
You're beautiful. I can't wait to see you again. I
will give you a call during the week and we'll
see each other again one forty eight. He also warned
Miss Areos not to tell anyone what had occurred or
about her visits to his home, something he would consistently
repeat to her and insist upon throughout the more than
(17:25):
one year of abusive sexual assault and battery, and eventual
forcible rape one forty nine. Miss Areos remembers after the
first sexual encounter with Epstein, he showed her a room
on the same floor as a massage room that he
said was designed to look like his favorite room at
the White House, which he called the Blue Room. It
was blue and had a distinct oval shape, and then
(17:47):
he showed her some more artwork his master bedroom with
a large jacuzzi and prosthetic breasts on the wall in
a bathroom that he could look at or play with.
While in the bathtub, one fifty plaintiff observed the opulence
of the mansion owned by defendant nine East and the
organization of defendant NS Incorporated, which collectively facilitated her further
(18:09):
cooperation with Jeffrey Epstein, culminating in New York penal law
section one thirty crimes being committed against her by Jeffrey Epstein.
All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up right there, and
in the next episode we'll pick up where we left off.
All of the information that goes with this episode can
be found in the description box. What's up, everyone, and
(18:31):
welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're
going to pick back up where we left off with
Jennifer Aureos and her claims against Jeffrey Epstein and the
Jeffrey Epstein estate. One fifty one Plaintiff was paid three
hundred cash before being escorted out of the mansion, all
with assistant from defendants. This payment was made to induce
(18:54):
plaintiff to conceal the activities of Epstein and to entice
her to return two. Going forward, sometimes Epstein would call
miss ARREOs directly, but primarily Miss Groff would call, email
and or page miss ARREOs, not necessarily in that order,
but they would speak on the phone and she would
give her instructions for her next sexual encounter with Epstein.
(19:17):
There were also two assistants of Epstein's that would call
miss Aarreos from Epstein's office to schedule these encounters, who,
like Miss Groff, would give miss ARREOs explicit instructions to
follow upon arrival. One of those assistants was Miss Espinoza,
whom miss Areos would see at the property after speaking
to one fifty three. Upon information and belief, Maxwell and
(19:41):
other staff of corporate defendants and institutional defendants would email
or page Miss ARREOs directly and or coordinate Epstein's schedule
with Miss Groff, Miss Espinoza, and Miss Fontania for these
sexual encounters to occur one fifty four. These sexual encounters
with Epstein, which of course were horribly abusive sexual assaults
(20:03):
of a child, became more aggressive and escalated. For example,
the second time it occurred, while Epstein started to masturbate,
he grabbed Miss Areo's breast hard without asking and this
time insisted that miss Areos rub his chest, arms, and legs,
and pinch his nipples, which he said was one of
the main things that turned him on sexually. One fifty five.
(20:25):
These encounters would continue on a weekly basis, once or
twice a week throughout the first and second semester of
miss aureos freshman year of high school, and through the
beginning of the first semester of her sophomore year of
high school. One fifty six. Three hundred dollars in cash
would be left for Miss Areos in a drawer in
the massage room, the same drawer each time, and as
(20:47):
Epstein left the room, he would state that he had
left something for her to help her family. At the time,
this was a lot of money to Miss Areos. One
fifty seven. Later on, this became routine where Epps's Stein
would have his maid, said Miss Areos upstairs to the
massage room. The maid would put towels and lotion out
and tell ARREOs to get changed in the bathroom. One
(21:10):
fifty eight. When one walked into the massage room, there
was the painting of a nude woman previously mentioned. To
the right, there was the massage table, and to the
right of the massage table, there was a bathroom, which
is where ARREOs would be directed to get changed one
fifty nine. Finally, one day, during the fall of her
sophomore year of high school, while she was fifteen years old,
(21:32):
she was giving Epstein a massage in her underwear, as
she had routinely been instructed to do, but this time,
instead of turning over to masturbate and fondle her breast
while she stood off to the side of the massage table,
Epstein became more aggressive with her and started touching her
vaginal area one sixty He said, why don't we do
it where you're on top of me massaging me and
(21:54):
take your underwear off one sixty one. Miss Areos said
to Epstein that this made her uncomfortable and she wanted
to stick with what they were doing before, but Epstein
ignored her and continued to engage in improper and illegal
sexual conduct one sixty two. Epstein responded that he loved
her and cared for was going to look out for
(22:15):
that it was okay, and that she should just climb
on top of him and try something different one sixty three.
Miss Areos felt completely intimidated and knowing that she had
no way out of the premises, did not know what
to do, so she just complied with Jeffrey Epstein's orders
and got on top of them one sixty four. Epstein
masturbated as he instructed Miss Areos to rub his chest
(22:38):
and pinch his nipples one sixty five. Then, suddenly, without
giving Miss Areos any notice, Epstein forced his penis, which
already had massage oils on it, inside her vagina and
proceeded to have sex with her while plaintiff resisted one
sixty six. Throughout the duration of the sexual encounter, ARREOs
was petrified and finding herself trapped in Jeffrey Epstein's large
(23:01):
mansion under the impression that there was no feasible or
safe means of escape, didn't know what to do, so
she just did as she was told. Epstein held her
tightly and forcibly raped her one sixty seven. On top
of this brutal rape, Epstein did not use a condom,
which substantially contributed to extreme emotional distress and the development
(23:23):
of a panic disorder, which was exasperated by the fact
that Miss Areos had recently lost her father to AIDS
one sixty eight. In addition to constituting illicit sex with
a minor, this was also a brutal rape one sixty nine.
Epstein's monstrous conduct cannot be understated. One seventy Epstein, after
(23:43):
raping Miss Areos, told her that she was amazing, that
she felt amazing, and that she did nothing wrong. One
seventy one. Miss Aureos was disgusted with Jeffrey Epstein and
herself at the time, and left his home soon afterwards,
never to return one seventy two. Afterwards, Jeffrey Epstein tried
to contact Miss Areos, but she ignored his calls one
(24:05):
seventy three. Epstein also tried to reach out to Miss
Areos in later years, but she did not take his calls.
One seventy four. Following the rape, Miss Areos refused to
go back to Talent Unlimited High School out of fear
of seeing Epstein, who lived just blocks away from her
high school, or seeing the recruiter again one seventy five.
(24:26):
At the time, Miss Areos told her mom the reason
was that she was being bullied at school, concealing from
her the truth involving Epstein, reflecting her extreme shame about
what she experienced and the intimidation she felt from Epstein.
One seventy six. Miss Areos, still fifteen years old at
the time, transferred to Forest Hills School in Queens by
(24:47):
her home to avoid any continued contact with Epstein and
the recruiter one seventy seven. Having left a special public
high school for performing arts that she had to audition
to get into to inste go to a regular high school,
cause Miss Areos to lose interest in school, drop out,
and give up on her career of being an actress, model,
(25:08):
and a singer. One seventy eight. All sexual acts were
performed by Jeffrey Epstein intentionally and for no legitimate purpose,
and for his own gratification when plaintiff was a minor
child less than seventeen years old. One seventy nine. The
intentional acts of Jeffrey Epstein against plaintiff constitute a sexual
offense as defined an Article one thirty one eight. Pursuing
(25:32):
to New York Penal Law one thirty dot five, a
person is deemed incapable of consent when she is less
than seventeen years old one eighty one. Jeffrey Epstein committed
sexual misconduct against plaintiff as defined in Section one thirty
dot twenty of NYPL inasmuch as Jeffrey Epstein engaged in
sexual intercourse with plaintiff without Plaintiff's consent. One eighty two.
(25:57):
Jeffrey Epstein committed rape in the third degree, as defined
in Section one thirty dot two five of NYPL inasmuch
as Jeffrey Epstein, being twenty one years old or more,
engaged in sexual intercourse with plaintiff who was less than
seventeen years old. One eighty three. Jeffrey Epstein committed rape
in the first degree as defined in NYPL Section one
(26:18):

sexual intercourse with plaintiff by forcible compulsion. One eight four.

abusing her for the purpose of gratifying his sexual desires.

plaintiff when he inserted a finger into the vagina of

sources confirmed on July twenty second, twenty nineteen, the very
same day that Epstein learned of the charges against him
by Miss Areos, he was found semi unconscious in his
cell of an apparent but unconfirmed suicide attempt, which led
to him being put on suicide watch. Now, that was
the time he had in the cell with Nicholas Tartaglioni,
(29:35):
and as you all know, I don't buy it. I
think that Tartaglioni attacked him, and until I see evidence
proving otherwise, that's a hill that I'm willing to die on.
The Department of Justice is only confirmed that Epstein was
put on suicide watch in July following an incident one.
If Epstein attempted to commit suicide upon learning of accusations
(29:57):
of rape of a fifteen year old child, it was
could certainly indicate a consciousness of guilt, as why would
Epstein want to take his own life unless accusations were
true and he realized that he faced up to twenty

Law one thirty to thirty five one ninety one. On
(30:17):
August eighth, twenty nineteen, Jeffrey Epstein responded to plaintiff's petition

Jeffrey Epstein died of an apparent suicide one ninety three.
