Hold on a second.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Also, our new reigning independent Grill Out for day, second time,
sixth time, six time. You know what dynasty has begun.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
It's only three three more times? Come on, you got
three more and you do it. Come on, it was
on purpose six time.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Come on, yes, Josh is our current. Yeah you know what,
you know what, Bucks? You? I got something to say
when you all decided to do that really stupid thing
here in Charleston.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah you're not frank outman.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, listen, Bucks, I was on your side for a
long time. I cheered for you when everybody was boooning
you in the Charleston Colisee and when you all decide
to play the back backstage footage. I even bought march
at that that said the Bucks.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
You're a Mark.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I am.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I am.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Also my uncle was also his name is Mark. One
of my uncle's name is Mark. So yeah, there's that Mark.
He really is, like legitimately, he is a Mark.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I knew a guy named Mark.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I know a couple of people named Mark.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I only knew two.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yeah, get done. But no, listen, Bucks, I was on
your side. I was I when everybody left you. When
everyone left you, Jeff Petty was there. I stayed, I
did not buy the shoes. I don't have that kind
of money. Sneak. Everyone said no to the Bucks.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Jeff Petty said, I will die on this hill that
they will never do anything to disappoint.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And not only lit only did they screw did they
screw swerve strictly, swerve strictly out of the world title.
That title screwed me out projections, well, your title because
his story was not ending here, it was not ending.

(03:28):
I thought, I was, I was, I was.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yes, disappointed and got at one point, yeah disappointed, I am,
I'm I'm incredibly disappointed.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Cries he takes his young books Teddy Bird, and he
cries the moon so on his young books, which is impressively.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
You saw him, it actually is. It broke his heart,
young bucks. But you know what, you know what no more, no,
no more, no more Kenny, the bucks of youth. What
Kenny said about them was right.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
What he said was right. What did he say?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
He said that pretty much say it with that. When
Kenny was not there, they were ruining a They are
ruining a w here that young book said. Is what
your friend Kenny O make I said about you. He's
your friend.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
He's Canadian. They don't say mean things.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Well, Uh, he's Canadian. Helling from North Carolina. Yeah, he's
from he lives in North Carolina right now.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
But he's from Canada. Yes, you see that young book.
You made a Canadian and say something mean? Yes, exactly
what type of person makes Canadians say mean things?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Gudians, the Bucks, the Bucks, a b dynasty has come
and gone. Adam Cole has captured his first aw title
with the tn T Championship is gone begun. He he was, well,
you know what, You're going to defend your title in
this show and the next show. Yeah, but Adam Cole
was the only that was the only title change for

(05:04):
the whole job. So yeah, Adam Cole, babe, and uh
that's coming from Josh colebe Yeah. Also our current reigning
and defending girl.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, we've already done that.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Let's get past.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, how many times? Talk about how many times?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Six?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Six?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
So yes, Josh does have to defend his title on
this episode. Man, I'm doing it, yes, and we are.
We will be doing WrestleMania forty one Predictions Night one
on this episode and then the next episode we will
be doing WrestleMania forty one Predictions night too.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
But also WWE Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yes, I was, I'm glad you're I was getting ready
to tee that up and I'm glad you well, here's
the thing.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I'm a I was told that I might have been
too hard on Talkboat.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Who told you you were too hard on talkboat? Nobody?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
You weren't hard enough, they said anything. I wasn't get
the shock Master enough hate tug Boat. The shock Master
is going into the Hall of Fame. Yeah before demolition.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, actually wild, but we do have the complete class
of twenty twenty five. Now, okay, the w class of
twenty twenty five seems to be satriple h is your
headline and will be inducted by Sean Michaels. Michelle McCool
will be inducted by her husband, The Undertaker. The Natural
Disasters will also be inducted, but we do not know
by whom. Probably Demolition, you know. Yeah, yeah, some fans

(06:34):
really wanting to see it be Jimmy Hart. I've heard
Cody Rhodes because uh Freddy, yeah, Uncle Fred. Oh okay, okay,
so yeah, that that one makes.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Sense, Yeah, because uh, when Cody saw the Shockmaster thing
happened from home. He was there with his friends, and
you know, Fred falls down and the head comes off,
and he's like, I.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Think that with the Uncle Fred, I love it that
Cody Cody does have like sort of dusty. He does
have the lift baby a little bit, a little bit,
not nearly as bad as Dusty had it. No, but
you know what I really want to hear, Cody, he
got a bathtyagle. Wait, do you get that? Baths If

(07:14):
you're listening to this right now? Number one, we would
love to interview you too. We want you to send
us in a video saying he's got a bicycle. He
got a bicycle? Yeah, yeah, continue the tradition.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
If I finished that motograph. No, I don't even care
about that. I just wanted to say, like, if we
ever got to interview Cody Rhoads, it would just be coldy.
I have one question. Can you say he's got.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
A bicycle in the dusty voice, but in the stardust voice?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah, pretending to be gold Dust? Yes, and also gold
Dust pretending to be who tug boat to.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Fame? And guess what, none of them are Ultimate Dragon,
That's true, none of them. Lex Luger will be inducted
by Diamond Dallas Page delightably.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Because they couldn't get stem.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah. That was a whole thing and a half. The
legacy Wing has returned for the first time since twenty
twenty one, with its inductees being Dori Funk Senior, Ivan Koloff,
and Kamala. This is a change from previous ceremonies that
had legacy inductees, as they previously never announced the inductees beforehand. Lastly,
this is a first for this year's WW. For this

(08:22):
year's Hall of Fame, WW will induct an Immortal Moment,
which will be a WrestleMania moment to be immortalized in
the WWE Hall of Fame. It wasn't the Immortal one, Nope.
That moment this year will be Stone Cold Steve Awson
versus Brett the Hitman Heart from WrestleMania thirteen and it
will be inducted by c Mpunk.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Do you think Sam Punk's the right person to do it?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Maybe? Maybe because he so shuret Ken Shamrock did induct himself.
You know, he's a referee for that.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I really do, honestly, I think Ken Shamrock should be
in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Yeah. I wonder if they're going to include him as
part of this. I doubt it. Yeah, yeah they should,
I mean I guess it, Just it depends on like
what talk how the talks have happened, if they've even happened,
because he was like, he wasn't an integral port in
that match. I mean, the the the final, you know,

(09:17):
the immortal picture is you know, Austin passing out from
the sharp shirt or he's bleeding and everything, and it's
Ken Shamrock that's calling it.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
It's by in bicycle shorts. But anyone could have been
the ref for that match, true, true, like it it.
Ken Shamrock, in my opinion, brought nothing to that match
except the fact that he was from the UFC.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, that was also in the UFC's infancy. Yeah. And
just the BIB yeah, and can't is it now? I
know Dan Severn was the nw A World's Heavyweight Champion
around that time, but what's it? Was it that Dan
Severn and Ken Shamrock? Are those the first two like
crossovers from M M A over and two professionals? I'm

(10:01):
just throwing us out there. This literally just popped in
my head.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
I hm.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
And also I have another question to follow up follow
up on this with the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
But we'll build this one in all of like professional wrestling,
because no, I would almost say Antonio yeah, yeah, yeah, But.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
For some reason, when I think Antonio and ok I
don't immediately think MMA. I know that there was that aspect,
and then then you know, in Japan, I think it
was in the early two thousands, around the nineties you
did have anokiism which almost killed New Japan because of
them bringing in MMA fighters and trying to do this
work shoot type thing, and it really backfired on them,

(10:42):
especially with the Eugen Nagata stuff.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
But no, if you're just talking about with like WWE
WWF at the time, then yeah, kensham Rock and Dane Severn.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Okay, that's that's yeah, Okay, that's I think that's where
I was sort of leaning with that, because now it
really doesn't seem like it's not really a big shocker
when a UFC fighter makes some type of crossover to WWE,
like it's it's not really it's not that big of
a deal these days, whereas I think, you know, back

(11:11):
in those days, but then again, it wasn't insane fancy.
I don't know, I was just spitballing a little bit. Yeah. Also,
speaking of the Hall of Fame, when are we going
to get an actual building for the Hall of Fame? Yeah, yeah,
I would like to visit it, yes, absolutely, like and
they have they have all the stuff in story.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I mean they keep doing the what the show where
they go out and buy old memorability. Oh yeah, but
what's the point of doing that if people can't come
and see it.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
That's very true.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
I feel like their headquarter, current headquarters building is big
enough to put it in there too.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Why not exactly? And I mean at the moment with
with TKO and everything, WW is sort of making money
hand over fist. Yeah, and you know they've like the
money has exploded for them. I think before they could
have built a building and housed the Hall of Fame there.
But I really think they can do it now.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
According to the Brick Flair, like back in twenty twenty,
before COVID happened, there were plans to build one somewhere
in like the Orlando area.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
So I don't know what's happening.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Put it down in Florida with performance center.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. That was getting righty. That's
gonna be my next question, like where where would where
should they put it? Like should they put it in Connecticut?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Should they put it in There's never any bad weather
in Florida.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah, you know, thankfully, But yeah, I was just I
as I was typing up the rundown earlier today, I
was sitting there thinking, I was like, we really do
not have a building for the House, the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I think where they should put it is Charleston, West Virginia.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yes it you cowards, do it. Lord knows we need
something here. Yeah, you know, we that happens. But speaking
of Florida, the Performance Center, all of that OVW, who
used to be the developmental for w Florida. No, they're
not in Florida, but they used to be the developmental

(13:03):
for WWE. The OVW, I correct me if I'm wrong.
As I was researching, this used to be known as
the Harvard of Wrestling because of just all the talent
they had go through there at one point with JOHNSONA Batista,
Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Shelton, Benjamin Brocklesung was in there.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
One who was Yeah, but it seems like people only
remember OVW for that class and then being a developmental true.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
True, but also had Jim Cornett running things down there,
and then they had Paul Hayman. Now it's El Snow.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
That's true, that's true. But OVW has been purchased. Okay,
it was announced this past week the OVW has been
purchased by Morley Sports Management Limited MSM, a sports organization
based out of Welles who also owned a Welsh football team,
a football club and for American fans that's soccer. Yeah,
that's weird. Yeah according to my lot of the football thing.

(14:00):
But in fact that Wales purchased them. Yeah, from my understandings,
had money. I mean the Welsh do oh Welsh? Yes,
we thought you were talking about Wales. No, you know,
like how when can drive Wales? Apparently the m s M,

(14:22):
the Morally Sports Management, they're they're trying to expand their
operations to not just include football for American fans soccer.
So they're really trying to just to spread that out
and to acquire more intellectual properties.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Big spread.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
It is from Wells to Ohio, Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Oh that's Kentucky.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Yeah, yeah, it's based out of a level But minority
owner Matt Jones, in an interview with w D wonder
you got wonder there you know what? Minority owner, thanks
for telling the audience that I don't know how the
spell Josh has a completely different word spell check. I
was just typing away man. The promotion will now be

(15:08):
known as the Minority wonder the promotion needed this quote.
It was getting hard to continue. They were just getting
by end quote. The move is not just about survival quote.
They MSM own a successful pro soccer team and they
have experience in sports. Their scheme centers on the academy
and getting the product to European TV markets. There's a

(15:30):
passion for wrestling throughout Europe, which is a correct that
end quote throughout Europe.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
I just don't understand why a Welsh company would want
to buy ov W. I mean, the European wrestling scene
is great in its own yes, so why not give that,
like those wrestlers, a bigger platform. I think it's great
to buy OVW and to help sustain them, but I
also think that the English wrestling scene has.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
A very high trying to monopolize. Maybe maybe they could,
I mean, they could be a temperatary. It also could
be they want to be in a market that's outside
of the Europe, outside of Europe, outside of the UK.
And also they may have I don't know what the
what the price was that they've just purchased eight of
twelve dollars maybe, I mean, but I don't know, but

(16:22):
not that, not that, Yeah, that's all you get. No,
I think like I think that does play. I don't
think it's twelve dollars. I think it's it's significantly more,
significantly more than twelve dollars Netflix give. Yeah, yeah, that's true.
That's true because like after the Netflix documentary, they did
have a spike in ticket sales. By the way, it's

(16:42):
very good. You don't watch it, Yeah, it's you know
what I have Netflix now, I definitely need to give
that a shot. And heels Okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I don't think Jeff would look good in heels.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Depends were talking about. I don't kind of yeah, with
my cowboy boots, I'm new boot goofing. But no, they
did have a spike in ticket sales after that, and
it did help them, but it's it was more of

(17:16):
a short term thing.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
It's not sustainable. No. I mean, if granted, I have
never been to an OVW show, I do not know
the caliber of entertainment they have there. I do know
that there's one person, Eric Darkstorm, who I used to
watch in whites Film and he was very entertaining to watch.
I do not know how he is now. He's originally

(17:37):
from the Huntington area. But if you do not have
a good production or a an acceptable level of production,
it doesn't matter how much publicity you get from the
get go. It's not sustainable at getting people to keep
coming back.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, I mean that's and honestly that right there where
And just because you and I have a very similar background, Jason,
that's yeah, that that plays until a lot of things.
If you have a good production, like for example, with
this show, if we did not put the production value
into it that we put into it, it doesn't matter
what we say. It doesn't matter what takes we have.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
If we will number one radio show in West Virginia
for professional wrestling.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yep, we are pretty only we're also the worst, by the.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Way, if we didn't have a quality mic, yes, and
it sounded terrible. People are going to listen to an
audio format.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
No, No, they're not.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
So if you don't have good quality, good production of
what you're seeing on your screen, it's hard to keep
coming back to it.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
It really is, it truly truly is. But yeah, I
I don't know this. I just thought this was interesting.
It really did just kind of come out of left field. Also,
I just like weird things in wrestling, and this is
this is got out there. At NJPW Wendy City Riot
Hiroshi tanah Hashi wrestled his last match Inndy Well, they're
in Yago known as the Windy City. He wrestled his

(19:03):
last match in the United States and in losing effort
to conuscate the Keshta, Tanahashi will retire after wrestling Wrestle
Kingdom twenty on January fourth, twenty twenty six. There has
been chatter from online wrestling fans though wanting John seen
it a face off against Hiroshi Tanahashi in New Japan.
I don't know what that happening. I don't know. I
know what you're getting. You're talking about the rock yeahs

(19:26):
continue continue. You have taketure with an MGPDW shirt on.
That's true, Like what are you doing? Rock? You just
you know, I mean, in this day and age with
professional wrestling, it could be anything. There is a possibility.
I would have loved to see it. I would love
to see John Cena go over go cross seas to
New Japan and just have a match with Hiroshi tanah

(19:47):
Hashi because their careers really parallel each other. They're both
they both were the face of their company when both
respective companies were not doing the best at that moment.
Some people even refer to Hiroshi Tanahashi as Japanese John Cena.
He does all the media for New for New Japan

(20:08):
as how John Cena has done all the media well
and tons of media, mind you, tons of media for WWE.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
I would be interested in seeing the reaction, the crowd
reaction that John Sena would have.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
In in Japan. Yeah, yeah, that would be that would
be something something interesting to see. But also I don't know,
And this is where I don't know, Josh, if this
is going to happen based on John Well, no, well
I don't. There might be that, but I don't know
how much influence they would have over that. I'm talking

(20:41):
about like John Cena's schedule anyway. I mean, who knows
how much he had to move around in order to
schedule out his last year in WWE. And that's yeah,
Air quotes never say never in professional wrestling, ain't that right,
Rick Flair? But yeah, so Hiroshi Tanahashi, Yeah, last match

(21:07):
in the United States. He spent like ten minutes after
the match high five and people and getting and doing
selfies and stuff. And you want to talk about being over,
that is called being over.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
So speaking of over, this segment is now over.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
It is yeah on this well, now we're going to
the next one.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
On this day in.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Wrestling history, April thirteenth, nineteen ninety the Tokyo Dome we
were just talking about, New Japan played host to a
rare card promoted co promoted by WWE and All Japan

(21:46):
Pro Wrestling, well all Japan, but yeah, yeah WWF at
the time. In the main event, Stan Hansen was defeated
by Hulk Hogan and other interesting matches. Andre the Giant
teamed with Giant Baba to defeat Demolition, who is not
in the Hall of Fame. They're not, but the chalk
Master is. Janrio Tenriu defeated much of Man, Randy Savage

(22:08):
and Brett Hart fought to a twenty minute draw with
Tiger Mask. I would have honestly loved to see that match.
See that. Ten Times Fast No No April thirteenth, nineteen
ninety seven, e CW Barely Legal, the promotion's first ever
pay per view took place at the fabled ECW Arena
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the main event, hardcore legendary Funk

(22:30):
defeated Raven to win the ECW Championship. In order to
qualify for the match, Funk had to defeat Stevie Richards
and The Sandman in a three way dance. Earlier on
the card, the eliminators John Cronus and Perry Saturn defeated
the Dudley Boys, Bubba Rat and Devon for the ECW
Tag Team Championship. In one of the most anticipated matches

(22:53):
in ECW history. Excuse me, in ECW history, Taz defeated
his nemesis Savage after months of not touching each other
even once. Yeah, they went through this whole thing for
months where they just wouldn't. I guess they would have interactions,
but there was no physical altercation between them untill we
had this.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Pay per view. You know, it wasn't always Bubba Ray.
It was bab Bah yeacause of his stutter gimmick.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
That's true. Yeah, there's also a lot of different Dudley's.
Some we can't say on the air.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Nope, No, Yeah, like Spike Dudley, he's actually doing pretty
good for himself.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
He is. Yeah, good for him, happy for him. No
injuries like no No could take a bump like no Weather.
Oh my god, he could also. Speaking of ECW, I
did not realize this was the twenty fifth anniversary of
this particular match. April thirteenth, two thousand, at a show
in Indianapolis, Indiana, a unique ECW championship match took place.

(23:52):
WWE star Superstar Taz defeated WCW wrestler Mike Awesome to
win the championship on an ECW show. The match came
about when Awesome signed for WCW Wow ECW champion and
technically still under ECW contract. Dropping the title in this
fashion was part of the negotiations to avoid legal action

(24:15):
incited by Paul Hammon and ECW.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
And thankfully, when Mike Ausain went to WCW, he was
never given a terrible gimmick such as that seventies guy
Mike Awesome or the fat chick thriller Mike Awesome. Yep,
thankfully they never did that to Mike Awesome.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Go watch Mike Ausame and Masato Tanaka at ACW One
Night Say in two thousand and five. Yeah, really do yeah, great,
magic brutal.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Remember that Deserve. It was that seventies guy Mike Awesome
who came to the ring in a bus designed like
the Partridge Family bus. I just saw that on Deadlock Pro.
He was also the Fat Chick thriller Mighty Costs Jesus.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
All right, we're gonna take a break rates there, and
when we come back, we have WrestleMania forty one Night
one Predictions.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Stay tuned.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
It's time for more of the grill Out. Here's Hollywood,
Jeff Petty. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen to the real line.
I'm your Hollywood Jeff Betty, and I'm joined by the
reflection of perfection jasonly Likens.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Drinking my wonderful West Virginia Sault and Maple Latte.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Oh, how is that that's good?

Speaker 2 (25:38):
It's really good?

Speaker 1 (25:39):
No, okay, nice, it's good. Also, our reigning and defending
Grill Out Predictions Champion. How many times? Six times? That's right,
Josh Cole, Bye bye, yeah, and he's getting ready to
defend his title. Yep, WrestleMania forty one Night one Predictions.
So we did do a little talking off the air.
Originally I was going to do this as two separate scorecards,

(26:00):
but after some deliberation, we're just going to combine that.
It's a mega card. Yes, and then the next card, well,
we have squirrels. Squirrel Oh I will I can confidently
say that, yes, they do. I could confidently say that
that is still shown around West Virginia State University. It's

(26:24):
really good. It is a rite of passage, and oh
it's so great. Prediction WrestleMania forty one one predictions. We
do have one bonus. We do have one bonus on here,

(26:45):
and that is who will be Randy Orton's opponent Bobby Blaze.
If it's Bubby Blaze, I'll mark out not no, no, no,
I can confidently say it will not be Ultimate Dragon.
You know, you know what's really said, Chad not on
this card.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
But it's sad. Yeah, You'll think someone would like his level,
he would know he would be on.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
You said they put this El Grandi Americano on there.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Well here, let me let me start it off. Okay,
so are these matches the rundown for the card or
are these just in order?

Speaker 1 (27:21):
I was gonna say they.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
I don't think these are in er not in the
only one that is one in order it will be
the main event other than not that's just yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Okay, So starting off, starting to have the champ Tiffany
Stratton Tiffy Time versus Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women's Championship. Jeff,
who do you have? And Stratton brother?

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Oh yeah, they did? You know what you do, work
yourself into a shooting and you're just shooting. After that,
I'm gonna say Stratton, I don't I don't know why.
I just wanted to because I think it will be
I think it will be Charlotte.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
But I'm going to Tiffany because I do not want
it to be Charlotte. I cannot vote Charlotte.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
I mean, I'll say with their segment that they did
on SmackDown the other night not correct. Well know, they
just did the parking thing. I'm talking about the yeah,
the segment. Yeah, when they went completely off scrap. If anything,
that segment alone added way more interest to this. Yes,

(28:27):
they really need cooked on that. Yeah. Yeah, Like Charlotte's
comeback was weak. Oh yeah, very weak.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Josh, I'm gonna have to go Tiffy Town to I
just don't want Charlotte winning, even though it feels like, yeah,
she probably do.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
I think Charlotte's good, I do, yeah, but I think
she's honestly also just kind of overdone.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Yeah, even though like and that really speaks to how
much she's been featured in the main event for the
women is she's been gone, she's been out of action,
gone for for a little bit. Now, yeah, comes back,
when's the Royal Rumble, immediately gets starting to the main event, and.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
People are like really, yeah, like that just yeah, that
kind of just I didn't want her to win the Rumble,
but I knew it was gonna happen. That's why I
picked her.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Anyways. Yeah, Gunter will be defending his world heavyweight title
against the main event, not in the main event against
jay Us. I'm going Gunter. It's got to be Gunter.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
It has to be Gunter. That's who I'm going with.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
I know I was gonna say. I know that they
just did the segment with Jimmy and and Gunter and
just you know, just beating the tar out of them
and everything, and yeah, they added a little bit of
interest to this match, but I still think it's going
to be Gunter.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
No, just because you have the crowd with you, for
one thing, for just Yeat doesn't mean you should have
that title. No, Gunter is better just and he's all
out better absolutely all. He's a better character. I think
he's a more believable character than someone who goes yeat.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Also, like.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
I've been a Gunther fan ever since he was called Vaulter,
like heops. Yeah, the chops are still nasty, yeah, I
mean he I will say this, Gunter's chops are like
Okada's drop kicks. They are just posh out, yes, but
I'm just saying like they are. They are poetry in motion,
and I think Gunter has some of the best chops

(30:29):
in the business that maybe ever in the business, same
as I feel about Okada's drop kick. Anyway, Josh, you.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Know, I have to agree with everything you guys say
is going through. He he needs, the way he deserves,
the way he's jay Us you're going USO, going USO.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Okay, and by the way, uh yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
The main event, I mean, everything they've been booking behind him,
it's going to be him.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
We may not like it, Okay, I don't want him
to lose, going through to lose, but yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
All right, Jade Cargo versus Naomi. Jimmy's going to cost him.
Jimmy's going to cost the match. Yeah, mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Well, I don't know, because I think Jimmy could come
out and it could cause another match between Jimmy and Jade.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
To where they will.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Five Star Classic of super Kicks yep, the super kick
on a Pole match, Jack.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Vaughn thatot slap. I'm going Naomi for this one, really, yes,
I'm why.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Before we get into that, we should say this is
a kind of a historical match. Is the first one
on one women's match without any kind of championship on
the line since like two thousand and six?

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Really? Yeah, when was the last one? You know? I
asked him too quickly. I don't remember which match it was,
but it was like mid two thousands. Wow. Okay.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
It also doesn't have any kind of stipulation applied to
it either. It's just a regular singles match, Okay. I
just I know that they're they've really been pushing Jade. Yeah,
but I've seen that they've repackaged Naomi and everything.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
I think I'm going to get some flak for this.
I think Naomi's better in the ring than Jade at
the moment. Okay, and I just if they're going to
go through all this repackaging with Naomi, I feel like
it would be all for nothing just to feed her
to Jade. That's that's my reasoning behind that. So what
you got, Jason, I'm.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Going Jade Cargo I am. I think they she was
a big signing that they did. They put a lot
of motion behind her. She ended up getting hurt. I
think we all knew that this match was going to happen,
that the turn was going to happen, that it would
end up being Jade and Naomi. Honestly, I'm not a

(32:44):
huge Naomi fan.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
You have mentioned that on the show before.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I like Jade. You know, she has a very impressive physique,
she has a impressive strength.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
She looks a lot better since she's come back to
where is Bianca Bellair in all of this? She's Night
to night two Women's world to them much Okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Yeah, so I'm going Corgil, Josh.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
I have to agree. I'm going to Cargill as well.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
It's because you like to pick a winner, yeah, as
he picked j.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Because he's gonna win bank on that.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
No, he can only win if he's in the main event.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Scoot in the main event of Saturday night's main event.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Okay, yes, so he's not gonna win, all right.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Next match for the World Tag Team Championship, the war Raiders,
Eric and Ivar will be defending their title against the
New Day of A Kingston and Xavier Woods.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
New Day.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Yeah, it's New Day. I just I to be completely
honest with you. I forgot the war Raiders were World
Tag Team Champions. I did too, Yeah, I did. Yeah,
And I think if you because WrestleMania itself is sort
of a reset for the next year. Everything culminates at WrestleMania. Yeah,
I think it would be smart to put the titles

(34:02):
because Jason and both just said it. We forgot that
war Raiders were World Tag Team champions. Put it on
the New Day. And they're a great tag team anyway.
They're a legendary tag team, future Hall of Famers, etcetera, etcetera.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
I'll be honest, I think the war Raiders need to
leave WWE yep, because they were so much better and
so much more free as war Machine out on the
Indies or in New Japan or anywhere they would go.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
And it we've and I know I've said this on
the show before it comes down to there are certain
people that thrive that can really make a name for
theirself in the WWE system, and I'm not and I'm
not disparaging it. No, and there's people who are better
outside of it.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
I don't think it helped that they came in and
they were given vikings, Yes, Like I think that really
hindered a lot of momentum that they could experience vikings.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
That's what the people want, you know.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
I think it just really hindered any momentum that they
were ever gonna have. And no matter how great they
are in the ring, I think they're a great team
in the ring. I think they can do amazing things
for their size. But they're just another team.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Yeah, in a way they are.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
There's nothing impressive about them in the lane of giants.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
They and they and and they're both not small, No, guys, No,
uh So, I wanted to agree with you, and I
love war Machine.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
So are you going with New Day? I am New Day, Josh.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
So.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
I remembered they were tag champs, but I've barely seen
anything of them since they've been tag.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
I think they've defended them one time.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Yeah, but it was actually gainst New Day too. I'm
gonna go New Day as well. Okay, I feel their
rain has been very lackluster.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Well and then with all the repackaging of New Day, you.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Know, yeah, I think that, I think, yeah, you're I
think you nailed on ahead with the repackaging of the
New Day. The next step, the next logical step for them,
They just they've were not they just turned on Biggie,
but they have gotten rid of that, they are moving on.
I think the next logical step is to put attacking
title on them. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
And and it's always only been Xavier, Kofe and Biggie
and then Biggie left, and it's always only been a
Xavier and Kofe.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
No one else was ever brought in.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Yeah, and I think that they never brought in anyone else,
not even for a very short time.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
No one else had ever been in. Oh yeah, yeah,
you know what, I know.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
What you're.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Completely forgot about.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Is gonna be going up against Jacob but to for
the wwe U United States Championship.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Jeff, it's gotta be Jacob. It's gotta be Jacob. He's
he is a machine. He is an animal. Like I've
seen video, Jeff, I've seen Listen, I've seen videos of
him online like legitimately being a.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Good guy playing piano.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
This really marking out for stuff.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
You haven't seen that. No, Yeah, like him just backstage
and arena, like you found a piano and just started
playing it. You know what.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
That's very it seems very much like him. But I've
seen him like straight up like help people put like
people who are disabled put their wheelchairs in their cars
and stuff. He seems like a great guy. But Jacob
Fatu the wrestler terrifying.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Jacob to the wrestler is the reason why they're in
the wheelchair. Jacob the person helps them get in yes
their car? Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Out of out of all of the Bloodline, I think
besides Roman and the Rock, Jacob fau is probably my
my third favorite in the Bloodline altogether. Yeah, he's put
a title on them. Let's do it. Let's do it, Jason,
what do you got?

Speaker 2 (37:49):
I think it's gonna be fat too, Okay, I think
this will be a you know, I'm just a stepping
stone to catapult him up higher, because he is what
everything they wanted Solo to be.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Exactly. You nailed that one, right, on the head. He yeah,
he is everything they wanted solo so to be. Gosh,
let me talk say yeah, yeah you know, is that
is that your first?

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (38:17):
The whole the whole program. Yeah, I think so. Usually
thrown a few out at the beginning when I just
save it for mister l A. Knight. That's true, that's true, Ramastereo.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
Versus I was gonna say they they came up short
last year without putting l A. Knight on the l
A WrestleMania. Now they got to feed him to the werewolf.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
So I think for this match, l A not versus
Jacob to Jacob bar two is gonna say good night
l A Night and it will be over. Baby.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
He's got a bathyicle. Baby, he's riding it out.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Baby.

Speaker 5 (38:51):
L A.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Knight's gonna be like a bathyicle, will be too.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
Tired, baby, Yeah yeah, baby.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
Oh boy. Raymisteria versus l America.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
Not Chad Ye should have been Chad Gable.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Should have been Chad Gable.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Really, I think this kind of plays back to Kurt
Angle and a Wig, like everyone knew who it was,
Like mister America, everyone knows who it is, but no
one knows that it's Chad Gable. It's not Chad Gable. Okay,
I'll tell you what they should do. Okay, really quick?

Speaker 1 (39:21):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
El Grande Americano versus Elgenerico.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Yes, they need to go to that orphanage in Mexico
and get Elegenerico to come come down to.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
The WrestleMania match that we want.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
What if Egenerica interferes in this match, it'd.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Be a conspiracy, that is true.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Maybe Sammy can try to get him on the card. Maybe,
I mean, Sammy's ain't if you're listening to this, but
I don't think you are.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Kids. Why are you play with your kids?

Speaker 1 (39:48):
Now? That's Heath.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
No, it doesn't, sam He's ain't.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
He does. But I'm just playing off of the Heath.
I got kids, gimmick Heath Heath. Yeah, he's got a bath,
that's sang. Yeah. Alter in America please versus El Grande Americano.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
So raymisterio versus El Grande Americano, Jeff, who do you
have and why Americano? Is it because he's made in America?

Speaker 1 (40:16):
No? I feel like it would do more for his career. No,
I think it's he's he's he's a young up and comer.
He is, uh, it's his Wrestlminga, Yes, exactly, it's his
WrestleMania debut. You know, REMISTERI is a legend, but his
legend doesn't proceed Ol Grande Americano. No, No, it doesn't,
It doesn't.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
Do you think that this will lead into a summer
slim mask versus.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
Mask match between Ray and El Grande Americano. Hmmm? Interesting,
that's an interesting thought.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Hey what you think about that?

Speaker 1 (40:51):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (40:51):
I guess it's my turn. Yeah, I'm also going to
Americano Americano. Okay, Oh Grande Americana. That means the Big America,
doesn't it? Yeah, the Big America, A large America. Jeff Quick, mirophone.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
America, Big America, Josh, here do you got Americano one?
Americanos gonna be big, all right.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Biggest match, the big leiest match. It's gonna be so bigly.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Golf of America, main event of Night one. What we
know for sure of Golf. What we know as for
sure is the Night one main event. Roman Rains versus
Sea in Punk with Paul Hamon in his corner versus
seth Rawlins Trouble Threat match.

Speaker 4 (41:43):
Does Haman turn on Punk and Roman inside with Rowlins.
I've seen it online.

Speaker 2 (41:49):
Jeff, who do you have? You know rains punk with
Hayman and Rowlins.

Speaker 4 (41:54):
Two of these men have actually won a main event.
One has never main invented nor has won because he's
never invented.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
And none of the four Ultimore Dragon, none of them
we can confidently confirm. I don't know that.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
I have done my research. They are not ultimate. Okay,
if Paul.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
Hayman, hold on, if Paul Haymen comes out with an
Ultimore Dragon mask and all of the belts, no, really,
it's just like a bunch of like toy WWE belts.
It was like.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Leather suit belts. That's all it is. He's just draped
in business casual.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Belts, looking like David's bridle.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Now, before you pick, okay, keep in mind that whenever
seth Rowlins was going to go and curb stump Paul Hayman,
he jumped in front of him and then bent down
and said, now you owe me a favor, which I
didn't entirely understand, because I mean, I understand what he's
saying is like, I didn't do this, so you owe
me a favor. So is it going to be that

(42:53):
Roman reigns and see him Punk with Paul Hayman lose
to a seth Rowlins with Paul Hamon.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
You know there. If there's one thing I know, Jason knows,
Josh knows, and all professional wrestling fans know about Paul Hamon,
pizza is tasty. Pizza is very tasty. If there's one
thing we all know about Paul Hamon can't be trusted
that he never found out brock Lessner when he turned
on him for Big Show. That's true, see him Punk two?

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Yes, when he turned on him for Curtis Axel.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Yeah, I kind of forgot about that one until just now.
Curtis Axel is a Paul Hamon guy. Really.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
Also, I think Curtis Axel a great worker. Just the
Michael McGillicutty thing didn't do him any favors.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
No, No, it's.

Speaker 2 (43:45):
Like Husky Harris.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Yeah, but at least like Wyatt could have he did
something with that afterwards, like not the Husky Harris, but
was able to evolve into Yeah, but Ray Wyatt wasn't like, no,
he was he was not gonna like yeah, not going on,
not going to.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Be team whenever they that was pretended to be Bray
Waatt and Matt Hardy. I thought it was hilarious. They
should have just kept that going. They should have, they
should have. But the Michael McGillicutty thing, it is the
age of McGill cutty was dumb.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
It was horrendous.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
Anyways, Roman reigns Team Punk with Paul Hamlins. Jeff, who
do you have? And why? We know Paul Hamon can't
be trusted. We also know other things about him, like
he likes to wear a suit that he does he.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Does, he does exact money. I don't think it's gonna
be Rains. I don't think it's gonna be punk. Yes,
I think it's gonna be Rolins. You think it's gonna
be shot Rollins. I thought you can't say that's fricking Rowland,
say he doesn't do that, because I hate that is.

(44:56):
He is a visionary, he isolary, he's the architect, but
he is Seth.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
He can ride a bithicle, baby. I don't know, just
imagine everybody can I just know so Seth Rawlins.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
I don't think. I don't think Seampunk is going to
win his first wrestleming main event debut. I don't, okay,
who takes the pin?

Speaker 2 (45:21):
You know what? We'll come back to that. I think
I'm going to agree with you. I think it's going
to be seth Rawlins. Okay, Josh, I can see it happening.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
I can see it happening.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
But but.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
He's about to pull the lead course so not so fast.

Speaker 4 (45:39):
I don't know something so fast. He's not very fast,
He's not.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
He's he has a fast wite. He's quick witted. He's
quick witted. Martin Fellow, I'm learning Swedish, by the way,
doesn't have anything to do with this conversation.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
But I just thought I would.

Speaker 4 (45:57):
Mention that what's going to happen is Rock Lesner is
gonna return and just destroy them all and let seth
Rowlands win.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
Okay, that's not happening. But you think seth Rowlans is
gonna win.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
Give it to I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (46:10):
Okay, So now let me ask who takes the who
takes the l on this? Who gets that pinfall or
that submission done to them?

Speaker 1 (46:19):
Punk Punk? It backfires on him. He Punk was trying
to play chess with this by getting Paul Hayman in
his corner for the favor, but all of that's going
to backfire on him when payment turns on not only
him but Roman and sides with Rolins. What do you think, Josh? Yeah, yeah, listen,

(46:40):
I'll tell you this.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
Okay, you heard it here first. Folks, if you're playing
chess and everyone else is playing checkers, you're playing the
wrong game and you're a moron. So yeah, it's I agree.
I think Punk is going to take the take the
fall on this one.

Speaker 1 (46:57):
So so all three of us in agreement, I think.

Speaker 2 (47:00):
So, yeah, I think so both ways on this.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
You heard it. You heard it here first. Well here's
something else that you could hear first.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
Baby, who is going to be Randall Keith Orton's opponent? Baby?

Speaker 1 (47:12):
That's and why is.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
It not Ultimore Dragon?

Speaker 1 (47:14):
Baby?

Speaker 2 (47:15):
That's who it should be?

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Ultimate O not Ultimo Dragon. We all got would.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
Always win because it's not Ultimate Dragon until the one
time that it will be.

Speaker 1 (47:26):
Yeah, that's true. You know is he still wrestling?

Speaker 2 (47:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Where's yeah?

Speaker 2 (47:31):
God in Japan? No, you should keep up with Ultimore Dragon. Loser.
Jesus also not Ultimo Dragon.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
That's true. I know Jesus is not Ultimate He's not.
He's not. They did tease solo, so CoA, just putting
it out there. I don't think it's gonna be so Cola.

Speaker 5 (47:47):
They tease solo, They put him in a solo match
one other one with solo, Hans Solo, great guy, Big
guy came up to me, tears in his eyes, said
it's gonna be me versus Randy Orton.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
Mhm, it's gonna be by.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
I opened up the waters and made that timber Lake flow.

Speaker 1 (48:12):
Terrible black or rus Day that.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
Yeah, you're you're getting a phone call, Jeff, I.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
Am'm getting a phone call Chicago.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Do I need to answer it again? We've done that before.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
No, No, ain't Chicago. I'm gonna say Ruse m m yep.
Could be russ because I think they're where they are
bringing allegedly whatever bringing him in. This would be smart
to just kind of just pull just throw him in
in there with Rain.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Randy m Randy yep.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Now if you bring in russive, do you have to
bring in a tank mm hmm for WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
No, I went out the tanks. Give him God's greatest entrance.
