What have you done? It was Josh Cole.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yeah, I am back.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
I was on a world tour. I tore my a
c O for this show, and I lost my title.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
I mean you're welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
We are we are in a conundrum with that.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
Yeah, you're welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Jason. I likens.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
The reflection of perfection greatness. Ladies and gentlemen, When you're good,

both of my knees feel fine.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
I hurt all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Yeah, it's a lie, like I I sneeze and I
pull my neck. Why am I getting old? Well, I
know why I'm getting old. It's because I'm still alive.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
But it happened.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
When When did I get old? Like, I know I'm
older than both of YouTube. Yesterday, That's what it was.
That's what did it yesterday.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
But yesterday, you know there is something that why are
you talking?
Speaker 4 (02:06):
It's not your show?
Speaker 6 (02:07):
It is my show is on the billboard.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Yeah whatever billboard. We don't have a billboard. We don't
got that kind of money.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
We don't have a sponsor. You we got a budget?
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
I pay to be here, Yes, yes he does. He
pays a toll to get here. Yeah. But yeah, no,
we we today. I forgot what I was even going
to say.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
You were going to talk about how great I am. No, No,
we have a conundrum.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
We do.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
We have a conundrum.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
You're welcome.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
So last week we made history. Oh well vacant made history.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Yeah last week IOUs title.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yes, Jason and I were on the show. Josh was
out of town.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
That it was a good show.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
We were not able to record on Sunday because Mother's
Day and everything, so our schedule and stuff got in
the way. Yes, and backlash was that night. Yes, Jason
and I were joking off the air last week. Hey
what if we tied? Josh lost the title?
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Now what are we going to do? And here we
are Jason and I tied, Josh lost the title.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Okay, so I think it should go to the taller
of the two?
Speaker 6 (03:27):
How tall are you?
Speaker 4 (03:29):
We could?
Speaker 1 (03:30):
We are not going to roa shambo.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
That What all I'm saying is.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
If you've never you've never heard rock paper scissors called rochambeau?
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Really really?
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah? Wow, you've heard it called rochambo?
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Have you? Jason? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (03:47):
Why is it called rochambo?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
You just have another way of saying it?
Speaker 6 (03:51):
Just like how was that another way of saying it.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
It's just a fun way to say it.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
I don't know. I don't know why it's called Why
do you have long hair?
Speaker 6 (03:59):
Because I'm man.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
I used to have long hair. Yeah, I actually had
a long hair when this show first started. All right,
so we're not going to do rock paper scissors. We're
not going to do sambo, even though Josh doesn't know
what ro schambo.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Okay, what if it just goes to the person who's
had the longest title ring? No, okay, what about the
person who had the first title ring? No? What about
the person who has the best hair.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
I mean, I'm right here, I have better hair than
both of you.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
No, you don't listen.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
I'll let my golden locks down right now.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
I don't want that much dangerous on the table.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
You go, go right ahead, goldy locks.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
All right, you're not in this conversation.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Just recent champion before Josh.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Jeff, I'm sorry, just turn his mic off. It doesn't
matter right now. Oh well, he actually I have power,
So no, we are not going to do that.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I have an idea.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
I still think we should do trivia. I yeah, you see,
he agrees only because you suggested that. I suggested it
back the first time we did the show, way back
when we were doing it in the broom closet standio.
That's the only reason why you were there.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
The broom closets, just sweeping it away.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Yeah, okay, So what's your idea, Jeff, I say it.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Double or nothing is next weekend, So our next episode
is going to be predictions as it is. Why don't
just you and I the only one? We are the
only two that do predictions. Josh is excluded because he
technically lost the title. Vacant has it now. Vacant is
now a one time grill Out Predictions champion. And I say,
(05:54):
because where we tied just you and I? Next week?
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Okay, what if we tie in wondering? Can we do trivia?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Hm?
Speaker 4 (06:05):
I mean we could do that if I think, Josh,
no matter what, maybe you get some trivia questions ready,
because if there's a chance that we may tie, there.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Is a chance. Because sometimes when we do predictions we
are pretty similar.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
On I would like to say that I would feel bad.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Would you like to know what the current card is
to see if you would tie?
Speaker 4 (06:31):
You really quick? Let me finish my thought and then
then you can talk. Yeah. Yes, I would like to
say that I would feel bad if Josh was not
involved in predictions. I would like to say that.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
No.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Anyways, Yes, that's right, you interrupted my joke. Okay, let's
hear the card.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
So get hangman, Paige and will Ausbury a Owenhart tournament.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Is that is that the final?
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (07:01):
That is the final for the men's.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Okay, okay, so is Paige, Yeah, Paige and Will Spray.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Final for the women's own Hart Cup tournament is Jamie
Heater Mercedes Moone Okay, a t W World Tag Team
title match, Hurt Syndicate versus the Sons of Texas which
is Dustin Roads and Semi Guevara Women's World Title match
to Tony Storm, Minish Rikawa Tag team match f t
R and versus Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness, and then
a stretcher match between Mark Briscoe and Ricochet. Uh it's
(07:29):
not on here, but there's also gonna be uh anarchy
in the arena between John Moxley's team and Swear Strickland's team.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
I feel like we're we are gonna pick similar on that,
but there's definitely gonna be a couple in there. We're
gonna pick different with. Yeah, there a chance for that, yes, Like,
so who do who do we got.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
In the women's final again, Jamie Hayter Mercedes Money.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
I feel like I'm gonna go hater on that one.
I'm not. That's that's not my final pick. That's just
what I'm no.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
I'm honestly kind of leaning that way because then it's
a way to get a loss on Monet without taking
the title.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Lass should also be noted that the winners of these
matches get a world title match at all.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
In mm hmmm mm hmmmm.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Ah yeah, I would still say Hater because then it
kind of builds into a feud between Monet and Hater
where you can have both titles going and Monet going
along the lines of, well, the only match I've ever
lost was against you, and she has she was she lost.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
Her JPW title.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
She was not in the fall, but she lost it. Okay,
three way.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
So.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
I'm definitely going Tony Storm in her match.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Oh yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
It's as much as I like Mina Sharrakawa's good jobs
to change that music back, yeah yeah, getting that that yeah,
getting that deaf rebel stuff out of here. Even though
it wasn't deaf reuble, it sounded like it. Yeah, dude,
it was very much around those around that. But that's
that is just my suggestion. And if we do tie
(09:13):
Josh has trivia questions, of.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Course, what if we put in something that will be
a tie breaker in these stipulat predictions, like like a bonus. Yeah,
some some kind of bonus thing. Hmmm, like how much
I'll come up with the question.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Like how many Pixie Stucks Tony Cohns having before the show?
Speaker 5 (09:32):
Yes, I'll come up with a question that I will
not ask until we get here.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Okay, Okay, I kind of like that, Yeah, Josh, So like,
is is the question going to be related to double
or nothing? Or is the question just going to be
wrestling in general?
Speaker 5 (09:49):
Like I will relate it to double or nothing in
some way?
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Yeah? What color is the shirt of the man who's
going to be center screen? Forth to the rest?
Speaker 5 (10:02):
Speaking of the colored shirt, green shirt guy was not
a backlash.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Was he not? No?
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Oh yeah, huh.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
I hope he feels better.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Yeah, imagine that. Yeah, maybe he couldn't afford the tickets. Yeah,
speaking of that, Speaking of that, WWE COO Mark Shapiro
spoke at the JP Morgan Annual Global Technology, Media and
Communications Conference. He spoke about the upside to WWE's ticket
pricing and the company cutting back on house shows. Quote,
(10:32):
we cut those house shows down to where to where
now we're doing two hundred events a year. We cut
them seventy five percent. The number of house shows that
we do. We feel that's a good place to be
and will continue to prune as we go through. WWE
has tremendous upside on global partnerships, tremendous upside on ticket pricing,
tremendous upside on site fees, dynamic pricing, yield management, all
(10:56):
areas were really focusing and pushing in on as it
related to live events. As you saw on our first quarter,
our margins significantly significantly expanded as it relates to WWE
live events. End quote, which it brings an overarching question,
an overarching commentary with this ticket pricing in general. Yeah,
(11:21):
it gets out of it's ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
It is.
Speaker 6 (11:24):
I shouldn't know.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
It's not specifically a WWE thing, but it is a
lot there.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
It is.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
It is because like the ticket pricing for like let's
talk about the super Bowl. Okay, the super Bowl. A
lot of times people will say, well, the crowd is
not that into it as as you would like a
regular NFL crowd, because a lot of it is people
who have a lot of money. They may not follow this.
This is more of a bucketless thing. Yeah, where I'm
(11:52):
making an appearance or something like that. You can also,
I think, make that same argument because I know there
were people that were complaining about WrestleMania's crowd this year
that that played into it, because there was a lot
of people who are just there for looks, for the appearance.
You know, a lot of influencers, people like I said,
people who have money. I do not like the idea
(12:16):
of the dynamic pricing stuff. And it's not just sports,
this is also concerts.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Now, what is dynamic pricing? Let's get that out there.
Speaker 6 (12:27):
Basically, the price that ticket goes up for the more
demand is there.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, so supplying demand, yes, yeah, that's.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
On ticket Master's side.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
That does that, I believe, Okay, yes, And I will
say also with ticket Master, I just had recently had
an I wouldn't okay, I have an issue with it.
I had bought tickets to a concert that Ivy and
I decided not to go to. I decided to sell
said tickets on ticket Master's website because I didn't want
(13:00):
to go through the hassle of dealing with somebody I
set the tickets for. You know, that way I could
somewhat break even with them. Ticket Master's like, no, we
need to take a commission out of this, and it's
like I don't know why. And it was not a
small commission either, Like I didn't even come close. I
think I lost all together one hundred and some dollars tickets.
(13:24):
I don't know, Like I understand, like I'm using your
website to sell this, but that does not go you know, yeah,
there's I know there's other ways to do this, but
I just and it's not just a Ticketmaster thing. I'm
just not a fan of that. Like that's not going
to make me want to do that again. Like that,
Like I'm just gonna go different route next time I
want to sell whatever tickets I'm trying to sell. And
(13:48):
also with this dynamic pricing, with this, I'm quite honestly
this overpricing of events, you shut out actual real hardcore
fans of this stuff who cannot afford these tickets.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Like those bleeds are wrestleman are like what eight hundred dollars?
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yea, y yeah exactly, Like what triple digits is one thing,
but almost a grand for nose bleeds. I'll just go
back to my house at that point.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Well, I think part of it is the people who
are making these decisions are the people who see that
amount of money as expendable income. Yes, it's just an
easy expenditure, when in fact it's not.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
No.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
And what happens sometimes is people will put like they're like,
I really want to knock this off my bucket list.
Like I think for the three of us here as
lifelong wrestling fans, Wrestleman is like a bucket list thing.
I'm not gonna go put it on, put every everything
on a credit card, and then spend the next five
years paying this credit card off for this one trip.
(14:56):
Well they're at home exactly. But there's some people that
are like, you know, I don't how many more chances
I have to do this. I'm gonna go ahead and
do that, which more power to you, but I'm not.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
I'm not doing forty thousand on summer Slam tickets. Yeah,
grant that does include a lot of stuff, but still yeah,
like and the's and.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
There's certain packages like that and I and I can
kind of in my head justify those a little bit.
But when those bleeder seats are north of five hundred dollars, yeah,
you got a big problem there.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
So I can't justify it, Like I can't justify any
of it. I would much rather get a group of
people together, rent out a cinema room at one of
the local cinemas, and just watch WrestleMania there be like, Okay,
it's going to be a few hundred dollars. Well, if
everyone chips in it comes down to like fifteen bucks
a person, I'll just watch it there. Yeah, And that
(15:49):
would be just as entertaining for me as it is
going to WrestleMania, because then I'm not having to fight
the traffic. Now. When I was younger, I wanted to
go to WrestleMania. I'm getting older. I don't want to
deal with people. I don't like people. That's very true
at all. I don't like people. I'm kind of right
there with you, especially Josh.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Little. Does everybody know Josh and Jason are.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Best friends off the air, No, we're not. I can't
stand the guy. I never talked to him. He invited
me to his bar Mitzvah.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
I said, no, Jesus, but no. You see how quickly
we get off track of around.
Speaker 6 (16:28):
I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
I understand, Like, no, well I don't. I don't understand
from this guy's point of view. Yeah, that's all it is. Yeah, Like,
and it's people that just do not they do not
understand the everyday life of the average person, the average Joe.
Like I looked up just just to humor myself. I
(16:51):
was like, all right, what are the tickets or tickets
right now going for on on double or nothing. Yeah,
nosebleeders are around forty fifty bucks. Now. Granted, like four
seats are around three four hundred dollars, but that's four
seats at a major pay per view, Like I expect
that exactly, But I don't expect two three grand to
(17:13):
sit mid level. Yeah, Like that's just that's insane.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Well, I mean you're also having to look at the
different size of the venues.
Speaker 6 (17:21):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
WWE for their big shows are going with massive venues,
massive stadiums. Yes, and so the nose bleeds there are
gonna be a lot higher than the nose bleeds for
double or nothing.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
That's true. That's but that that also does not justify
the price for it those No, no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
But it's like I'm just saying, you're gonna get a
better view at AW than you are at WWE, but
you're gonna pay so much more. Yes, I don't. I
don't get it except for mister crabs I money. Yeah,
I mean, that's why'd you do it? T k O money,
that's true, that's make your money back from buying you.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
You know you got a point there, Josh. Yeah, But yeah,
I just I don't. I don't get the idea of
of of that, of paying that amount for what for
that for tickets to go to go to anything, not
just WrestleMania, but the super Bowl, the World Series, the
NBA Finals, the NHA finals. I don't any type of concert,
(18:32):
Like I just I don't. I don't understand that. And
if I'm paying and Josh can probably back me up
on this because he did just come back from a festival.
If I'm paying triple digit north of five hundred dollars
in pricing, I'm hoping that it's a package for like
a four day event.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Yeah, it's actually pretty much what I paid for was
fo Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Yeah, all four days, so one hundred a day.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
Yeah, pretty much. It's like one hundreds bands. Yeah, yeah,
I could have played one hundred more guys second festival
in that I didn't realize it.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
At the time, but still no, but you can in
your mind you can justify that price with that. Yeah,
like you're getting bang for your buckler.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
It's like, Okay, Metallica played there two nights, two full
entire sets, Like going to one of their concerts is
five hundred on its own base. Yes, I got two
sets of that plus a bunch of other bands for
like four hundred.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah. No, which I'm a little jealous. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Well, I need to switch topics really quick. Okay, because
I did get an email relating to Ultimo Dragon. Okay,
we'll do this real quick, then we gotta do Yeah,
I'm sorry, wrestling history.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
You're good. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
I was asked if if these entities are in fact
Ultimo Dragon. Okay, uh, Spyro, No, that is a video
game dragon, not Ultimo Dragon. Moushoe again, No, that it
It was a Disney dragon. Uh not Ultimo Dragon. Toothless again,
animated dragon dragon Night. That is a Pokemon, not Ultimo Dragon.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Puff.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
That's a magic dragon, not Ultimo Dragon. Smog Nope, that's
from the Hobbit, not Ultimo Dragon. Trog Door Nope. That
was an animated uh bit from Strong Bad Home store Runner,
not Ultimo Dragon. And uh, let's see Magellan. No, that
(20:37):
is the dragon from Eureka's Secret Castle, Eureka's Window. But uh, nope,
in fact, not Ultimo Dragon, not even pro wrestlers, Uh,
just different types of dragons.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
So there you go.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
Yep, I'm glad we got that song real quick before
we get to.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
On this Day in Wrestling History? Uh, did your dissertation?
Did it pass the day?
Speaker 4 (20:59):
It did in fact pass? Okay, awesomectually, So I am
now doctor li Likens.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
And on that note, on this Day in Wrestling History.
May eighteenth, nineteen ninety seven, In the main event of
(21:26):
WCW Slam, Marie from Charlotte, North Carolina, Kevin Green, Rick Flair,
and Roddy Piper defeated the NWOS Kevin Nash, Scott Hall
and six with a six person tag match also a
yeah with also Stephen Regal defeated Ultimo Dragon.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
There you go. Who is in fact Ultimo Dragon?
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Yes, for the WCW World Television Championship.
Speaker 6 (21:53):
How many titles was he held at that time?
Speaker 4 (21:56):
I'm not sure, I'll be honest, I'm still trying to
find it. On the rundown where we are I see
it now?
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Yeah, it's towards the bottom. Dan Malenko retained the WCWU
United States Championship against JEWFJAUBLERI w T Jeff Jarrett Medusa
pinned Luna Vashon and the Steiner Brothers defeated the Dungeon
of Doom.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
So well right yep.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
May eighteenth, two thousand and two. This is a sad one.
The British Bulldog Davy Boy Smith passed away age thirty
nine in Invermire, Canada, from a heart attack. Smith was
best known for his appearance in the WWF as a
tag team and singles competitor, where he won a number
of singles and tag team titles. Smith's most notable career
(22:47):
highlights was winning the Intercontinental Championship from real life brother
in law Brett the Hitman Heart in front of eighty
thousand fans at Wembley State Original Wimbley Yes in England
in the main event of SummerSlam nineteen ninety two, which
many fans and critics regarded as one of the greatest
pure wrestling matches of all time. Smith was also the
inaugural WWF European Champion and holds the longless reign as
(23:11):
the title holder at two hundred and six days until
he dropped the title to Shawn Michaels at the UK
exclusive One Night Stand pay per view. Smith initially found
popularity with wrestling fans as part of the British Bulldog's
tag team, where he teamed up with his cousin, The
Dynamite Kid. The British Bulldog was inducted into the WWE
Hall of Fame in twenty twenty one by his wife,
(23:33):
Diana Smith Hart, and his two children, Harry and Georgia Smith.
May eighteenth, twenty fifteen, NXT champion Kevin Owens made his
WWE main roster debut when he answered John Cena's weekly
United States Championship Open Challenge. The match never takes place
(23:54):
as Owens attacks Sena to set up a non title
champion versus champion match at the fourth I mean WWE
Network Special Elimination Chamber.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
They had some great matches they did, they did.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
I always loved his uh what was it a Fisherman
supplex but from the top rope or whatever it's called,
sena or always does so that was the first time
I ever saw him do that move.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
That's amazing.
Speaker 1 (24:19):

ticket prices.
Speaker 1 (26:49):

And he's Marty Jeannetti, not Earl Heavener.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
And he's not Ultimate Dragon. Ok. I just running up
Earl Hevner, Heath Brock and arm Anderson, not Ultimate Dragon,
Carrie and Ricky Morton, the Brooklyn Brawler.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Yeah, we we do plan on being there.
Speaker 6 (30:17):
Yeah, do a live show there. I'm just joking.
Speaker 5 (30:21):
That'd be pretty cool too.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
It would be cool.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Maybe maybe we could do a Facebook live I'm just
talking about when we get there, maybe reactions.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
We'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
We're just we're just spittingballing right now. So yeah, no,
we are talking about a sw passion Beckley. Yes, we
are planning on being there, Yes, as of right now.
We were planning on being there last year, but a
bunch of stuff came up. Yes, so it happens. Life happens. Yes,
so brads of right now we will be there. But now,
(30:58):
all of the names I did read off, those are
different meet and greets that you can get. Prices do
vary amongst them. I think you can do like a
pre order type deal with them. Also, you can pre
order your tickets.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
So where where do you find all that at? But
where can you pre order meet and greet and pre
order tickets? And this is something that you should have
had ready, Jeff.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
Are you not on tech Gary Darman or their official
Facebook page? And I believe you can get the tickets
directly from the Raleigh Convention Center.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Did I ask you, Josh?
Speaker 1 (31:32):
No number Josh does help with information? Okay?
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Yeah, though it should be said, the meet and greet
itself is I guess part of your ticket price, and
then the other individual meet and greets are their own
ticket prices themselves.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
So do we have any idea how much those prices are?
Speaker 1 (31:52):
Tickets there's themselves. I look this morning. Reserve tickets are
around if you bother them off the website, they're around
thirty three ninety nine. That's reserved, but general mission is
like twenty five dollars roughly, So that's kind of yeah.
And then, like I said, meet and greets they do
(32:13):
very some of their prices, Yeah, some of them are
let me see, some of them are yeah, anywhere from
like forty to sixty dollars depending on what you want.
Some of them a little less, a little more whatever.
Like I said, it just it really just varies between
(32:35):
all of that. Let's see, I'll start wrestling WV. You
can also go to etics dot com. Let's see reserve
tickets right now, because you can go to etix dot com.
But this the link is on their Facebook page. Okay,
so you can go there. Reserve tickets are thirty three
(32:55):
ninety nine and general admission is twenty eight eighty four.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
So how how are you all wanting to do it?
You wanted to do reserve? Do you want to do GA?
I'm not sure?
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Maybe gay In all honesty.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
I mean I'd like to be right on the floor, though,
I'd like to be front row.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Yeah, you know, limit fifty tickets per order.
Speaker 6 (33:21):
We get fifty tickets.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Tickets.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Bell time is seven o'clock. Doors open at four pm.
Four the meet and greet. Okay, so about three hours
before bell time if you want to meet some of
the wrestlers that are going to be there, That is when.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
You need meet your favorites.
Speaker 1 (33:37):

Speaker 1 (33:52):

There's a QR code on the Facebook page and whatnot.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
I really thought you said you could get pictures with
the Beckley Convention s.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
You just go up to it.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
Hey, man, big fan, just put your hand. I'm on
a wall. I've been a fan of yours since you
were the Armory. Oh that's good.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
That's that's good. That's great. But yeah, so that's everything
with as W Bash and Beckley five. Like I said,
June seventh, at the Beckley Rawley Convention Center, bell time
at seven o'clock. Meet and greet will be when the
door's open at four o'clock.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
Also, this does not involve are you wanting to do
a meet and greet with anyone?
Speaker 6 (34:41):
No, not in particular.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
No, no really no, not even like Scottie Steiner. Oh
oh oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we can do something like that.
Would you think I was talking about no idea? No,
I'm not saying we set up a booth and do
a meet and no one wants to meet us.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
They're gonna take one look at us and like no.
Senate both promote and the words of the good Brothers nerds.
So we talked in the previous segment about backlashing our predictions. Yes,
we've settled that, we know what we're gonna do, we
know how we're gonna deal with that.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
It's not backlash.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Backlash predictions because this was what yes, yes, yes, because
John Cena, John crushed our truth dreams he did. How
dare you John Cena?
Speaker 4 (35:32):
That man is a national hero and the other one
is John Cena.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Yes, John Cena said he was going to ruin wrestling
and he has he has.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
How dare you John Cena. How dare you dare you?
Dare you do that to the young child of Our Truth?
Speaker 6 (35:48):
Yes, Jimmy.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
After John Cena retained his title at Backlash.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
During the Biggest Fane John Cena during the.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Post show press conference, Sena turned on Our Truth by
putting him through a table with and attitude adjustment. Our
Truth has challenged John Cener to a title match at
Saturday Night's main event on May twenty fourth. This past
Friday on SmackDown, Wade Bird interviewed Our Truth about his
upcoming match with John Cena. Our Truth said he did
not want to fight Sena, but he had to. But
(36:18):
if he had to, he would knock some sense back
into him. Take a listen to this. I don't want
to fight.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
John, but if I have to beat him back to
his senses, then I would do it. I'm gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
I already talked to Nick Oldis. It's said Saturday Night
main Event. Wait, John is the greatest of all time.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
But I remember my hero told me what faith is
then possible, never give up, And regardless of what happens
Saturday Night, I'm gonna walk out with my head he on,
because I'm gonna live by three words hustle, loyalty, and respect.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
That was up.
Speaker 4 (37:10):
So JOHNSONA crushed Our Truth strang did, which broke the
hearts of tens of people.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
Tens of millions of people. Our Truth is a national truth.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
He is.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
I remember watching Our Truth, you know.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
I actually had a conversation about Our Truth's earlier career
this week, and this particular person I was talking to
had no idea that Our Truth was in the WWF
in the early two thousand. Yeah, he was k quick
at that.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Time with the road Dog.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Yes, and he was yes. And that's the first African
American NWA World champion exactly. That's the one thing people
forget about ar Truth. And he is technically a former
world champion. He hasn't aged, No, he hasn't.
Speaker 6 (37:58):
How wait a minute, he's fifty three.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
He's fifty three years old.
Speaker 6 (38:02):
I'm just guessing.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Okay, okay, but.
Speaker 5 (38:04):
If I win, I get my title back.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
No, no, no, that's not happening.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
God, I like it more when you're not here that
Oh my god, he is fifty three. Wow. Wow, Josh's done.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
Josh, what do you?
Speaker 4 (38:21):
What are you on the weekends? Man? This show?
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Yeah? No, Our Truth yes, has not aged at all. Now,
if you watch like the promos of Our Truth in TNA,
it's of course it's Ron Killings. Yes, but the man
can cut a promo.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
Oh yeah, well, I mean he was all about the truth.
Speaker 6 (38:38):
He kills against John Cena.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
I agree that, you know, that would be very interesting,
Like he has to dust off Ron Killings, bring him back.
Speaker 4 (38:48):
I mean, he's he's slowed down a little bit, but
come on, he's fifty three years old. That's yeah, he's
still I think, still really impressive in the ring.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Absolutely, like it's still. It blows my mind that he is.
Speaker 4 (39:02):
Fifty three years old. Yes, like that really just throws
me up. He looks better at fifty three than I
have ever looked in my life. You know, I won't
speak for Jeff, but clearly the same goes for Jeff.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
That's very true. But I will say, listen, I just
recently hit thirty, and I know somebody who hit thirty
as well, and they look awful. Yeah, they also don't
know the camera zoom. Uh that's true.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
That's what the Z stands for.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
MPTZ.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
Thank you, Josh. I'm glad you could bring something in.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
And I wanted to dramon mons zoom zoom. When do
you think our Truth debuted and wrestling? Three? Wow? Not
even close?
Speaker 4 (39:48):
Well close, but not eighteen ninety three. That was close.
How he said, I thought you said eighteen ninety three.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
No, he's said Jesus Christ fifty three, nineteen ninety seven.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
Nineteen wow yeah, huh.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
March fifteenth, nineteen ninety seven is when our truth debuted
in wrestling?
Speaker 4 (40:09):
Where?
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Uh, let's see.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
Is he right? So this is guy show me Sacramento.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
No, not even closed. Where Steve Harvey when you need
this is coming from his Wikipedia page, Jackie Crockett.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
From Steve Harvey's No, from from from Our Truth. I
was wondering why we'd be talking about Steve Harvey's Wikipedia page.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
With wrestling, because it doesn't He's had some wrestlers on
the Feud Show.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Yeah, on the Feud Show. Yeah, the family of the
Feud with the Families.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Jackie Crockett of the National Wrestling Alliance met Killings at
a halfway house after killings release from prison and tried
to convince Killings to become a professional wrestler. By the way,
Killings is his legitimate last name. He was determined to
focus on his music. Killing spent two years working on
his music career and then contacted the Crockett once more
and expressed an interest in becoming a wrestler. Crockett, by
(41:08):
now the senior cameraman for World Championship Wrestling, took Killings
to several WCW and Pro Wrestling Federation events, introducing him
to wrestling personalities. Killings debuted in the Pro Wrestling Federation
in nineteen ninety seven as a manager and then spent
three years traveling and training with Manny Fernandez. In nineteen
ninety nine, he debuted in n Towa Wildside as k Crush,
(41:31):
where he was awarded the newly created NBA Wildside Television
Championship on December twelfth. In two thousand and two, he
wrestled for Extreme Pro Wrestling as kay Malik Shabbaz and
that's from nineteen ninety seven to two thousand and two
in his career. Huh good good on our truth, though ye,
(41:51):
turning his life around.
Speaker 4 (41:54):
Only to be destroyed by John Cena's actions. Yes, how
dare you?
Speaker 1 (41:59):
How dare you?
Speaker 4 (42:00):
JOHNSONA? You and your bald spot? Do you not see
what this man has it?
Speaker 5 (42:06):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (42:06):
Do you not see what this man has came back from. Yes,
he knows.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Hustle, loyalty, and respect.
Speaker 4 (42:13):
Those are three words that he knows. Yes he does,
he knows. John Cena, how dare you you?
Speaker 1 (42:23):
Man?
Speaker 4 (42:23):
You?
Speaker 1 (42:24):
But yes? How dare you? John Cena?
Speaker 4 (42:26):
How dare you? How dare you? How dare you?
Speaker 5 (42:30):
See?
Speaker 4 (42:31):
This man has been through everything. You are his childhood hero,
John Cena? How dare you do that?
Speaker 3 (42:39):
But?
Speaker 1 (42:39):
Yeah? So, John Cena, I don't know. How dare you?
Speaker 4 (42:43):
Man?
Speaker 1 (42:43):
How dare you wrestling? Josh?
Speaker 4 (42:46):
Do you want to throw in a.
Speaker 6 (42:49):
How dare you?
Speaker 4 (42:50):
How dare you? John Cena?
Speaker 1 (42:52):
By God, by God, by God?
Speaker 4 (42:55):
How dare you?
Speaker 6 (42:57):
There's no loyalty or respect there?
Speaker 1 (42:59):
There is not.
Speaker 4 (43:00):
The only hustle he does is to the rogaine isle
to cover up the bald spot.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
By God, that's true. That's true, John sta in your
bald spot?
Speaker 4 (43:11):
How dare you have a normal effect of testosterone to
where your hair starts falling out at your age? How
dare you? John Tannah.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Also wear a hat like the rest of us. He does,
That's what did it? John sana As I sit here
right now wearing a hat. Speaking of this past week' SmackDown. Yes,
Jeff Cobb, even though he made his debut at Backlash
as Jeff Cobb. As Jeff Cobb.
Speaker 4 (43:41):
Yeah, all all wrestling fans who are in the know
of Jeff.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
Cobb, well they actually said Jeff Cobb.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
Yeah, but they know that his name is Jeff Cobb
because that's who he is. It's not okay, so what
if it's Jeff Cobb. Now, if it was Vince McMahon,
they would have called him Corn Cob. Yeah, but so
it's no longer no relation to Kim Cobb. Yeah, it's
no longer Jeff Cobb. That's right, that's Goldberg and John
(44:10):
Cena and John Cena. So I'm gonna guess that they
have named him. Let's see, Jeff Cobb is now uh,
Tyson Danger.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
That's actually better what they gave him.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
The Samoan Dream, Tyson Danger. You know that he is
called the Hawaiian Hulk, the Hawaiian Hulk, Tyson Danger. No, No,
the Hawaiian Hulk Jeff Cobb. Oh okay, yeah, okay, that
was that was what he went by on the end, Okay.
So if that's what he went by, is it now
Tyson and Awahie No, is it Jeffah No, okay, it
(44:46):
has to be something good then, something better than Jeff Cobb.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
What is it? J C. Matteo.
Speaker 4 (44:51):
That is terrible?
Speaker 1 (44:53):
That is awful?
Speaker 4 (44:54):
That j C was Josh Cole Matteo's that.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
I you know, Chris, I know who wants it? Oh
yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
J C.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
Matteo is what his name is going to be? Now?
Speaker 4 (45:10):
That is up there with Cope. So Jeff Cobb Mateo.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
Yeah, Actually, I don't think it's bad as Cope.
Speaker 4 (45:17):
But no, it's not.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
I I don't think it's as bad as Cope.
Speaker 4 (45:22):
It's up there. I think Cope is worse.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Cope is worse. I'm not saying it's not worse than Cope,
but it's up there.
Speaker 4 (45:29):
I I think Cope is up there with the Booty Main.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
Bastian Burger.
Speaker 4 (45:35):
No, that would be ed Leslie the booty Main. I know,
I know, Okay, Bastian Booger No, because it with everything
about that was terrible, that's true. And that was just
because he was overweight and Vince was making fun of him.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
That's true. So but J C.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
Mateo, j C. Matteo, as I don't I don't know, Yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
Yeah, I'm not. No, there's no Jerry out on this.
I'm not a fan of that, Josh, what do you
think I think Tyson Danger sounds better than Jason, it.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
Does, I it just doesn't roll off the tongue.
Speaker 4 (46:12):
Will No.
Speaker 1 (46:13):
And as a fellow.
Speaker 4 (46:14):
Jeff, I'm not a fan of this. No, I think
they should have named him will Power. Yeah, that way,
he's will Power will Yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
No, because the jokes start writing themselves after a while.
But yeah no. Jeff Cobb debuted on SmackDown as j
and he is. He is going to be alongside Solo Solo,
Soca and Jacob Fatu.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
Of course he is. Why wouldn't he be ye putting
everyone in there. It's the new n w O. Everyone's
in it.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
The bloodline. Oh that's a. That's a. That's a headline
right there. The blood Line is the new n O.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
It is not the good either, No, not the original.
But back whenever Jeff Jarrett was in that, Brett Hart was,
they had like three different Yeah. Dusty Michael, Yeah, Dusty
Rhodes was in it back in w CW for no
reason whatsoever.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
But I will say, in Sean Michael's defense, it was
when they came to the ww F at the time,
so like he wasn't part of that half the roster
is an n w.
Speaker 5 (47:21):
O member and the other half was wolf Pack or
the l w O or the b w O or
the whatever other w O.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Wasn't I thought b w O was like exclusive to
e c W.
Speaker 4 (47:32):
No, it was it.
Speaker 5 (47:34):
I think it started there that came over to wh.
Speaker 6 (47:37):
Okay, I didn't know that.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
It kind of went wherever they did.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
Oh well, okay, that makes sense. I mean when you're
when when the one guy's name is Blue Meanie and
you're part of the Blue World Order, it kind of
goes in and yeah, yeah, it's kind of part of
your gimmick. Real quick, before we get to the main event.
I do have some sad news though, yes, which one.
I got a couple last week last Sunday a week
(48:04):
ago on May eleventh, that was announced that Sabu had
passed away. He was sixty years old. If you don't
know who Sabu is or this is your first time
hearing about him, I highly recommend watching him versus TAZ
in ECW. Also his tag matches with RVD in ECW
as well. There has not been a clear answer as
to what he passed from. But our thoughts are with
his family and the pro wrestling community, and we're going
(48:26):
to shift gears to the main event. It looks like
all the talking has been done. It's time for the
main event, and now we have the main event where
we go ahead and let you know what's your upcoming

n XT Battleground. Joe Hendry will defend the TNA World
Championship against NXT's Trick Williams and this will go head
(49:27):
to head against AEW double or nothing. Yeah, and we
will have predictions for that next week, right, yes, yes,
it will be just Jason and I. Yes, you already
lost Josh yep locally. Back on April fourth, Appalachi Jempionship
Wrestling was scheduled to return to Oak Hill Middle School
in Oakhill, West Virginia to present Payback, but due to
(49:52):
unforeseen circumstances, it had to be postponed, postponed. That's not
in quotations, no, no, but I wanted to do it.
That event will now be held this Friday, May twenty third.
