Speaker 1 (00:14):
Hey, it's Brian Freed, your inventor coach. Today we're diving
into one of the most exciting parts of the invention journey,
turning your idea into a physical prototype. Let's get started.
Once you've defined your idea and market, the next big
step is to get it out of your head into
your hands creating a prototype. A prototype is your first

(00:35):
real chance to see your idea in action and test
if it works. Now, don't get overwhelmed by thinking it
has to be perfect. A prototype is simply a working
or works like model, a rough draft if you will,
that helps you understand your product's form and function. You
can start small, taking apart things that already exist, three

(00:55):
D printing, or working with a low cost fabrication shop.
The goal is to learn, refine, and communicate your idea better.
From my experience, inventors who invest time in prototyping early
avoid costly mistakes down the road. It helps you spot
design flaws, improves your pitch to licensees or investors, and

(01:16):
builds your confidence. The best part about prototyping for me
is seeing what was in my head now something physical
in front of me. Keep in mind, prototyping doesn't have
to break the bank. There are affordable options and resources
out there, from local maker spaces to online services. Your
prototype is also a valuable tool to get feedback from

(01:39):
potential users. Show it around, get honest opinions, and be
ready to tweak based on what you learn. And remember,
a prototype is not the final product. It's a stepping stone,
a key part of your invention story. Inventors, this one's
for you. You've poured your heart and soul into your invention.

(02:00):
Now it's time to wear your passion with pride. Welcome
to inventor Mart, a shop made just for inventors like you,
featuring designs and merch crafted with your inventive spirit in mind.
From hoodies and t shirts to hats, tope bags, mugs,
and more, our collections let you showcase what you do
perfect for everyday where or as unique gifts for your

fellow innovators. Check out inventormar dot com and find your
new favorite hoodie, mug or accessory that says I invent.

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
