Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hey, everyone, have a great week.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hey Kelly, you want to guess the weather today?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Periods of rain, yeah, maybe a tornado. Yeah. God, it's
been wild so over it like you're hanging out and
you see like, oh, it's sunny and then in five
minutes it's dark and the wind and salt poor.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Weird all weekend where I was at the Tomato Festival.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Oh how did how was that?

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Actually it wasn't bad, okay.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Uh. Ever, Clear took the stage and the seventeen year
old came with me. The seventeen year old canceled all
of his plans just to go see everyone. Wow. Yeah,
And we were lucky enough that they did a little
meet and greet so he got a picture. And then
I was in the back of the field with the chairs.

(01:03):
He was up against the fence like he was all
the way up there.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
He's got two years of Sonic Temple under his belt.
That was probably nothing to get up there.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Well. And then I don't know who it was, but
one of the band members recognized him from the meet
and greet and gave him a guitar pick. He was
the third third best concert he's ever been to, according
to him. Really, Lincoln Park if Sonic Temple was number one,
tool at Sonic Temple was number two, and ever Clear
at Tomato Festivals number three.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
That's amazing. Oh he got as.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
They sounded all of sixty five.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Oh okay, and that was the third best concert he
was at his third concert.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
He goes, He goes, I know, yeah, they sounded a
little may but.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
The thing is, it's more than just how they sound.
It's a whole an experience as a.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Whole exactly right.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
He's got video and he's literally said he I feel bad.
I feel so bad for the people around me because
he was Savanria. He was screaming at the top of
his lungs and you get to hear it in the video.
It's hysterical. Yeah, but we left it rained a little bit,
and I'm sitting there in the chair just getting rained

(02:18):
on while he's up front. But thankfully it was only
periods of rain. Yeah, put on the drive home, absolute
torrential downpour. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely, saying then
yesterday afternoon, anyways, I'm just over it.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
We got a tornado warning and looking yesterday.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Oh well, Saturday night when we got home from the
Tomato Festival and sitting on the couch watch because I
didn't want to go to bed, and I'm like, I'm
sitting there on the couch watching a movie and he
comes downstairs and goes, you hear that? And I had
to pause the movie. Tonaris irens like four times on
Saturday night, put on the news and everything was east
of us, but.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Yeah, are we at the point?

Speaker 6 (02:59):
Now?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Where's here tornado siren?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
And You're like, eh, I didn't even get off the couch,
didn't move once I put on the news, and I
was like, well, because it wasn't raining by us, there
was no wind. And I was like, the ones.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I pay attention to which I have not gotten this
round are the ones that come over your phone, the
big likes rahming alert over your phone. That one those
we go to the basement for.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I'm in a I'm in a lot of trouble right now.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Oh okay.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
So my alarm went off this morning and it woke
Nora up, which happened sometimes, not all the time, and
she rolled over and we cuddled for two minutes before
I got out of bed, and somehow I did an
update on my phone over the weekend and somehow it

(03:50):
changed my alarm where now it plays?

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Oh what does it play?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Darn like here it plays a song, a really annoying song.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
And I went to sing it to her and I
swung over and my face hit her face.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Oh that is a rude, rude awakening.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
And we are less than three weeks away from the wedding.
And she goes, don't mess. Don't you gotta stay away. You can't.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
You can't come near my face right now.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Nothing no, nothing around the face.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
And I said, okay, And then I said, but imagine
if it's like the week of the wedding and I
don't even and you trip and fall and you just
like chip a tooth and you hit your eye, and now.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
She thinks she's cursed. And I'm in a lot of trouble.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah, I mean, we still don't know if she has
a bruise from what you did.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Might she might, Yeah, I'll find out in a couple
hours if she has a bruise. But she's so she goes,
I cannot believe you put that out into the ether.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I'm so bad at you right now.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
It's like one of those things when you get an
injury and you're like, oh, stay away from my elbow.
And then you're bumping into every time.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, she's not happy.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
With me right now.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Oh, she's gonna be bumping into everything with.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Her face everything. How are you, Kelly?

Speaker 4 (05:16):
How was your weekend?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
It was great? It was weird. The weather was weird,
but it was It was a great weekend. Got to
get out and do everything we wanted to do. Was
very lovely. Yeah, it's good. Sleep. I'm feeling great for
Monday morning.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Thank good, excellent, all right, I got some fishing in,
watched a lot of football.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
There you go. Well, let's get to it then. Busy
Monday morning, including Louder than Life tickets that we're going
to give you later this morning. But right now, let's
go with Blitz Morning Trivia Thick.

Speaker 7 (05:42):
Twenty five bucks to waterbeds and stuff to the first
person to text in the correct answer. Which character from
the Karate Kid and Cobra Chai franchise had to be
rescued from rising flood water floodwaters in his Tennessee home.
So this particular character, and y' all know who you
if you know anything about the Karate Kid franchise had

(06:02):
to be rescued, tell us which character it was?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
At eight or ninety nine seven. Oh, we'll give you
the gift card.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Alright, let's get that answer for a blizz borning excus
all right, wait, stop talking, turn this up? Who can everybody?

Speaker 8 (06:31):
You're the best, nothing's ever.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
He's the best. Okay, if it doesn't buff you up
on a Monday morning, I don't know what will answer,
go back to bed.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Franchise will Never Die? No, I have Cobra Kai's one
of the greatest series.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Well, that's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
I know the acting is terrible, it's awful, but.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
It sounds such a city. Would never want to visit
New York City because it sounds boring.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Yeah, we're getting into that later. Don't worry.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I didn't say it sounds for and I said maybe I'm.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Don't stop talking. We're getting into it later, all right.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
So the question was what character from the Karate Kid
franchise had to be rescued from his Tennessee home due
to rising floodwaters, and it was this guy.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Sweet the Lick.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
You have a problem with that.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
No, Mercy Martin Cove, who played John Crease, had to
be rescued.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I mean, has he.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Done anything besides playing John Crease?

Speaker 5 (07:33):
He was in Oh something. It was in a Rambo movie,
one of the ramp I think. I think Rambow, the second,
the second. First Rainbow was really first Blood, then the
second rank. Yeah he was in that, okay, Yeah. Other
than that, no, I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
So but uh yeah he's okay now you know they
they've reached him by boat.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yes, yeah, Crystal Plush from Lucas first one to text him.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
She's got twenty five bucks of water backs and stuff.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Then say, can't make it out on his own. Chuck
Norris would have made.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
It, yes, but he's Chuck Norris.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
I also take issue with something you said was that
Daniel LaRusso was the villain in the Karate Kid one
hun because he had He was talking to a girl
on a beach. That's all he did, and Johnny had
to come and kick his ass for that.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
And everything would have been done and over with if
Daniel LaRusso didn't keep egging him on. He's an ass.
Daniel LaRusso kept egging him on. Everything was said and done,
he got his ass kicked, You get your ass kicked,
leave it alone. But no, he kept coming back. All
they wanted to do was smoke a joint in the toilet.

Speaker 9 (08:46):
But no, before that they did it, Yes they did.
They kicked his ass on the beach. What did they
do after that? What did they do after they kicked
his ass on the beach?

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Well?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
He they bullieding? Did they bullied him?

Speaker 2 (09:04):
He kicked his ass on the beach and that was it.
What did they do after they kicked his ass on
the beach?

Speaker 6 (09:09):
What?

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Nothing?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
What did? What did they What did they have to
do other than that?

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Then it was said and done?

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Why is it said and done?

Speaker 4 (09:16):
You get your ass kicked, you go home?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, and he got. He learned how to fight, and
then he got.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Even after he egged them on. Okay, he got his
ass kicked again because he egged them on. If he
didn't put the hose over the toilet, they never would
have chased him. They never would have kicked his ass
on the fence.

Speaker 8 (09:35):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
It would have been said and done.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Now they bullim before that happened. Can we the field bullet?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Can we all agree that Cobra Kai saw Daniel Larisse
LaRusso just achieved full jag status like he was.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
The worst, the.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Worst.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Quit watching it. I couldn't take it anymore.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
That or just the worst person.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
He's a terrible character.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
I agree, total jerk, I agree.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
But I didn't.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
I didn't have that opinion until Cobra Kai. I didn't
think that about him in the original Karate Kid. I
didn't think it was the jerk there.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Johnny became the good guy then Cobra Kai.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Yes, and the crane kick was illegal. He didn't win
the tournament. He didn't win the tournament either. Crane kick
is illegal. You can't do that in the All City Championship,
All Valley, All Valley Championship.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Yes, so I didn't realize that.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Yeah, okay, it's an illegal move.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
And easily. But and not to mention Johnny, I'm sorry,
by the way, screw you. You're a terrible karate person.
If you can't block a crane kick, he had his
foot waiting for you. You can't put your hands up. Really.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I think that's why he became an alcoholic though in
later years, right, because he knew he should have been
able to.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Yes, it's funny you said that because in Karate Kid two,
when they went to Okinawa, he tried to do.

Speaker 9 (11:06):
The crazy that dude, he caught the.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
It's so simple to catch the foot he was dangling
it in front of your face. He was like, hey,
this is this is coming for you, just so you
know it's on the way.

Speaker 10 (11:22):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together, all right.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Our first story here. We've talked about this before. Do
you remember it was? It was probably about twenty years ago.
There was a story of a gentleman who was trying
to break into a house and he was trying to
do so through the sun roof. He got on the

(11:52):
roof of the house and he was trying to get
in through that little gap and he fell and he
fell on the kitchen counter, and the owners of the
home had left a kitchen knife on the kitchen counter
and he got stabbed in the leg by the knife.
And he sued the homeowners for leaving the knife out
insane and he won.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Well, we're not done yet.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Kenneth Voyles is a homeless man in Oregon and he
broke into a business the other day and the business
owner was still there. He didn't see the business owner
because the business owner wasn't back. But by the time
the business owner heard the broken window, the business owner
came out and business owner went behind the counter and
grabbed his gun and he shot Kenneth because Kenneth wasn't listening.

(12:42):
The business owner told Kenneth, get out of my store.
Get out of my store. Stop approaching me, get out
of my store. Don't come any closer, don't come any closer.
Bay them shot him. And now Kenneth is suing the
business owner for ten million dollars.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Oh my gosh, that is so obnoxious.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
How are you going to sue the business owner for
ten million dollars when you break into his business? That
doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Multi or you've warned multiple times and there is a
standard ground case to be made.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Right what state?

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Let me see, that's a good question. Let me find
out here, because if it's in Florida.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, or Ohio, because we've got around now.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Uh no, Oregon, I did say, Oregon.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Yeah, Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
I don't know, man, because you know it's that whole
You can only use the same amount of force back
at someone.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
If someone's approaching me and I tell them multiple times
to stop, You're you're.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Catching some lead.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
You might go to jail for that.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
That's true.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
I'm not I'm not saying it's right rightly.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
I know what the lawyers are going to argue.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Story number two takes place over the skies of Phoenix,
where two American airline jets.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
We're both coming in.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Here's the problem somehow, and I don't know how this happens.
Both commercial American Airlines airplanes had the same call signs.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Oh, I don't know how that happens.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
The air traffic controller is trying to talk to both planes.
How do you know which plane you're talking to? Thankfully,
the air traffic controller kept us cool. This is absolutely amazing.
Take a listen.

Speaker 6 (14:37):
Berga twenty four eighty two. If you're up bitter contact,
maintain nine on thousand.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Stall We checked in.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
But yeah, nineteen nine thousand makes twenty forty two.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
I think that we just took that for us by
America twenty forty two. We are six thousand climbing diners bells.
If you're on the arrival and eagle, you know what,
somebody else has your America twenty forty two on the arrival,
I need you to maintain one zero a thousand your
company same call sign out of sending to one zero thousand.

(15:06):
I've been working air traffic for twenty five years, I've
never seen the two aircraft pretty much verge with the
same call sign. That's pretty incredible. It could have been disasters,
but I'm glad it all worked out.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
All day.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I could not keep it together controller, I'd be like, oh.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Problem, Yeah, good for that guy, because that could have
been so bad.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Both on arrival coming from different directions.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
No, then I'm so glad. You know, back in the day,
Delta used to have controllers on their armrests. You could
plug your headphones in, and they had nine channels and
every channel was a different music station that they would
just play. But Chane was air traffic Control used to
be able to listen. I used to love that. Oh

(16:01):
I would Oh it was so cool. But could you
imagine being in your seat in you know, seventeen D
and they're like, okay, we got two plates with the
same they're both coming in worse that You're not so
breaking news, not some of the blitz. Kelly, what brought

(16:23):
up the conversation about going places?

Speaker 4 (16:27):
What were we talking to Detroit?

Speaker 8 (16:34):
Sorry I thought you were.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
I thought you were trying to remember.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
I'm sorry, that's all good, Kelly. What was the story
that brought up the boring conversation. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I think we were talking about how cool Detroit is,
and then we were talking about how it'd be the
same thing if somebody was coming to Columbus for a
concert or something. Right, it's a nice place to visit
if you've never been.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Exactly and things exact words were, yeah, but what are
you getting that you can't get anywhere else? And I
thought about it, and that nothing.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
There's nothing you can't get anywhere else besides a specific monument,
be it the Golden gate Bridge, the Joe Louis Fist
in Detroit, the Empire State Building, if you go to
New York. It's the same everywhere. And thing's like, yeah,

(17:44):
but what's special about it? And then Vic said, but
maybe I'm.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Boring yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, pretty boring.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Yeah, or I don't know if it's boring or a
Debbie Downer. It's one of the two. You've known him
longer than I have.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
I think that his interests lies somewhere else, not in right,
but in lakes right. Fishing, yeah, fishing and football, Like
if you offer like it's I mean, Ohio Stadium is
pretty iconic, yeah, right, it's a place to see for
a football fan, so I would.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Love to travel. I'll go to Dallas for a game.
I would go watch Ohio State play somewhere else. You know,
I would travel to different lakes to fish.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
But to just go to a city to eat at.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Their restaurants and walk around, it doesn't excite me.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Yeah, you said, there's like nothing really that excites you
about New York City, which which is fine. I don't
criticize you for it isn't what your thing is. Like,
I've wanted my husband to go to Las Vegas just
because it's something to see. It's wild to see it.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Yeah, everybody says to me Vegas, I have no desire.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Neither of us gamble and I didn't want to go either,
but I had to go for work, and I thought
this is worth seeing it is it is worth seeing this.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
It totally is New York. You don't gamble. Las Vegas
is worth.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yeah, New York City's worth.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
But again, the bustle doesn't excite you.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
The bustle, yeah, out and about the doing.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
What you're out and about doing what, just walking, enjoying life,
all things, going to a show, going to shows.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
That shows like like you talk about New York City.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
I would I would love to go see either The
Warriors or the Rocking Horror Picture Show on Broadway that
I would be into scene.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah, that's what it offers.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
But it's like the money I would spend to go
stay there for a weekend just to go to that
two hour show.

Speaker 8 (19:40):
Yeah, that's the point.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
I mean, honestly, you've never experienced anything like New York
City in terms of just looking up guy and all
the architecture and the people, and it is experience. But again,
if that doesn't interest you, there's no amount of us
trying to convince you that it's a great place it's
to interest you. You don't care about it.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
I don't. I mean, think about this. You know how
much I love football.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
I have no desire to go to the Pro Football
Hall of Fame and look at some football players shoes
that he wore when.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
He doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
But I agree with you. I My brother tells me
all the time when we go to New York, Oh,
you got to go to the Natural Museum of Art.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
You gotta go to the Google Hut, And no desire.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
I don't want to. I don't want to walk around
the museum seeing art. I want to be in the
center of it all and with people and the things.
I said, you've been to New York. Maybe that's it.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
I haven't been there, so maybe I just don't get it.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
Yeah, that's that's what I'm saying. Is that not not
having ever been to Las Vegas, you are missing something.
It is something to behold.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
It is.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
They hate gambling. You may not like to walk around,
you may not like the heat, but looking at what
is going on in Las Vegas is wild. It is
it is something to experience.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Even if you sit on the patio of one of
the many, many, multiple bars on the strip, just sit
on the patio at the last table along the strip
and just watch the equal walk by. You want entertainment,
you can spend an entire afternoon in one seat just

(21:19):
watching people walk by.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
I didn't spend a dime on gambling, and I was
in Vegas for three days and it was a blast.
I had so much fun.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
I spent seventy thousand dimes on gambling and still had
a good time.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
There's something that's like New York. There's something for everyone.
We love the museums, so I.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Can't fathom not wanting to see that. I can't fathom
not wanting to experience that and and see other things.

Speaker 8 (21:54):
Yeah, that's just so crazy to me.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
The I'm fine, I'm just here. I got I got
my boat, and I got my lakes, and I got
my fishing pole, and I'm gonna stay here now.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
I like a beach and a blue and you know,
with some blue water man. I love the Caribbean.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
I think it's a natural tendency for me to want
to defend why I think something's great. But you can't
do that. It's like there's an I almost feel offended
sometimes by you saying that sounds that doesn't sound good. Absolutely,
but you can't because it is not so something else's interest.

(22:31):
You're like, Okay, that's cool, you be you God bless yes,
but you.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Don't could you not want to? I don't, if for
nothing else, just to expand your horizons.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Like people who tell me, oh, you got to go
to a NASCAR race. No, I don't. Do you have
to go to it?

Speaker 4 (22:52):
That's true, that's true. You are right, you do you
boo boo. Now, let's three things you need to know
before you go.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Governor DeWine is offering state assistants in Perry, Muskingham, and
Morgan Counties following flooding yesterday. These areas saw additional heavy
rain over the weekend and being hit by multiple rounds
of severe storms over the last week. In Perry County,
New Lexington fire Chief Jim Fain says many residents needed
to be evacuated and about fifty people had to be
rescued by boat. Muskingham County was also hit by high

(23:23):
winds yesterday, with a man in his twenties killed by
a falling tree in Zanesville. Some areas of Columbus, including
German Village, were hit with flooding after heavy rain on Saturday.
Franklin County Domestic Relations in Juvenile Court closed today because
of water damage. You hit high water goose oh a
couple times.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Yeah. In fact, right inside of our subdivision. We were
coming home Saturday night from the Tomato festival and got
into our subdivision and I don't know the lighting or
what was going on, but I couldn't really see. It
came around a corner and it was like my car
got hit by a tidal wave. It came over the hood,

(24:03):
it came over the top of the car. I was scared.
I pulled into my driveway and I let the car
run for a minute because I was waiting for like
every light.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
I was waiting for the engine light. For everything I.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Thought I had I destroyed. Yeah, it was so bad, thankfully,
nothing but so much standing water.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Then in like twenty minutes, it's all gone. Yeah, it's
like weird. You hit it at the exact right time.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Yeah. Actress Hayden Panatiera's dead. Her father confirmed her death yesterday.
No cause of death was given. The thirty six year
old was known for her roles on the NBC sci
fi series Heroes, as well as Nashville and the Scream
horror franchise. She was very open about her struggles with
alcohol addiction and recovery, postpartum depression, and domestic violence. She

(24:51):
voluntarily gave full custody of her young daughter to her
ex fiance, boxer Vladimir Klitschko, back in twenty eighteen. Her
daughter's now eleven years old. No other details on her
death have been released. What a sad make it to
thirty six? That's it.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
They were supposed to save the cheerleader.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
They did not say the cheerleader. It's it's either od
or suicide one of the two. It's yeah, it's awful.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Nashville was a great show too.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Yeah. Well.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
On August first, all right, a blended family of seven
moved all of their belongings into their brand new rental
home in Spokane, Washington, and seven hours later they were
evacuated because of a wildfire in their new home burned
to the ground. Oh no, they didn't even spend one
night in this home. Everything they own burned. In fact,

(25:40):
they had a fireproof proof safe, supposed fireproof safe, completely burned,
everything inside destroyed. Now that makes me wonder because we
I have a fireproof like ything, and I'm like, this
is gonna save all a box? Is it fireproof? I
don't know. These people thought they had one. So all

(26:00):
their birth certificates, everything gone. It was a rental and
they said it was day one. They had not yet
set up renters insurance for themselves.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Uh, no, you do that before you move.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
So this has been just a little over two weeks ago.
They say that the community has been amazing, helping them
find a new place to rent, helping them replace necessities
to start over. But can you imagine that is the
worst luck in the world. Yeah, why those are your
three things?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
All right? We are just a couple weeks away from
college football. Cannot wait September well, actually September third, Thursday night,
but Saturday, September fifth, that's going to be the big
kickoff game.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
I saw this list on Facebook and.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
It cracks me up. The weirdest opponent every Big Ten
team has played. Now, granted these are all from eighteen two.
This is like when football first started, but still funny.
Illinois back in eighteen ninety two played Inglewood High School.

(27:13):
You probably shouldn't be playing a high school team.

Speaker 8 (27:16):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
University of Indiana played the Indiana.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Medics in the football game. Iowa played the Des Moines YMCA.
If you're a college football team, you shouldn't be playing
the YMCA. Maryland played the American U Chemical Warfare Service.
What hey, let's see. Michigan State played the Michigan School

(27:46):
for the Deaf? What you played the.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Michigan School for the Deaf?

Speaker 2 (27:52):
And football? How do they call their plays?

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Sign language? Did you see the replacements?

Speaker 6 (27:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:59):
The tight end was death.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yes. Minnesota played the boat Club. It's just called the
boat Club.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
It's like people who owned yachts or polos, probably shoes.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Nebraska played the Fort Omaha Balloon School.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Is that a clown school? It's got to be Did
you learn balloon arts?

Speaker 2 (28:21):
It's gotta be.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
In play football.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
That was in nineteen eighteen.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
In eighteen ninety nine, Northwestern played the Northwestern Dentists. In
nineteen twenty one, Oregon played Pearl Harbor.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
What I guess like members of the military, I guess.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Nineteen oh one, Penn State played Homestead Library and AC.
What's AC? I don't understand Homestead Library and AC air Conditioning. Yes,
that's what I was thinking.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Club. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Oh, that's probably it librarian academic clubs.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Where to go fix?

Speaker 2 (29:07):
I'm just guessing. Nineteen forty two, Purdue played Great Lakes Navy.
In nineteen fifty eight, Rutgers played Quantico Marines. In nineteen nineteen,
Ucla played the uss Idaho say rayed against the battleship.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
In nineteen oh.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Five, USC played Wittier State Correctional Facility.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Wow, it's just the longest yards. I say, that's whe
the idea for the movie.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Yeah. In eighteen ninety eight, Washington played pully Up Tribe
of Indians. In nineteen hundred, Wisconsin played Chicago Physicians and Surgeons.
In UH eighteen eighty five, Michigan played pennsil Head Aslar

(30:00):
Cricket Club, And in nineteen ninety I'm sorry, eighteen ninety
four Ohio State played the seventeenth Infantry Regimen.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
Okay, more so a lot of football against soldiers, a
lot of these giant soldiers.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
Yeah, it's like they're both going. You think you're toasted.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Oh, you're tough.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
Better than the Fort Omaha Balloon School.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
Oh man, maybe that was like balloons like that you
float in the.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Sky like a hot air balloon.

Speaker 8 (30:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
I couldn't remember the name of them, thank you. You
know the ones you float in the sky.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
You couldn't remember hot air bullet.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Nope, it just wouldn't come to mind early onset. Maybe
keep an eye out.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Amy, Texan is probably auxiliary club. I'll bet that's what
it was. A library and auxill right, is that like
a sewing.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Club or something.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
No, it's the it's for the backup librarians, the auxiliary librarians.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Kyle says, Oh issues where this opponent is still Michigan.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
That's weird.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Okay, sure, it's a Monday.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
A lot to do this week, so I had to
make sure I was well rested. Got in bed last night,
took a little extra gummy sleep hard, and unfortunately they
kicked in before I dozed off. So my mind started
to wander, and I wanted to share some of my
gummy thoughts with you this morning. This has been a
question that's been asked many times, but it really got

(31:27):
me for a little bit last night. If Cinderella's shoe
fit perfectly, how did it slip off?

Speaker 3 (31:36):
I've literally never thought of that in my life. That
is such a good question.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
It makes no sense.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
I've never had a perfectly fit shoe slip off while
I was running.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
It didn't fit perfectly. You've never thought about that?

Speaker 10 (31:51):
Never?

Speaker 3 (31:52):
What kind of gummies good ones?

Speaker 2 (31:56):
I thought about this last night. Do birds think air
wanes are like celebrities.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
I'm gonna look at.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
You, Wow, so shiny.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
You don't even have to flap your wings.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Everybody's just inside of you all the time.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Thought about this last night. I've never met a baby
named Karen. They're just like thirty six. That never one
baby Karen. No, they're just thirty six.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
As Yeah, that's stupid.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Haircut. Thought about this last night. Who said I love
you first? Like in history?

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Where did that come from?

Speaker 2 (32:45):
And follow up question, who is the first person to
say I love you? That didn't get it? And I love
you back?

Speaker 3 (32:53):
There's a question.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
You've heard all about this love thing and you made
this and you're like, I love you and then you
just see their back because they're turning around and walking away.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
Heartbreak.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
I thought about this last night before dozing off. If
you rip the wings off of a fly, is it
still a fly?

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Damn it?

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Stand? What is it? A stuck in place? A walk?
It's a walk. Finally, it's the last thing I thought
about before dozing off to La la land. At first
we learned to read, and then we read to learn, yes,

(33:49):
and then it.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Was just.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
To sleep, was my Guma thought them.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Last night.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Sitting on the couch yesterday morning, enjoying my coffee, and
I was doom scrolling and I came across a a
Facebook page and it I just I love it so much.
It's so dumb, but it had me in tears, cracking
up because someone animated famous singers and their lyrics into

(34:20):
doing other things.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
And again, it's really dumb.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Let me give you.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
Let me give you an example.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
This is Billy Idol trying to get his lawnmower going.

Speaker 6 (34:38):
Started.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Get start again, momone is a nasty to What if

(35:00):
almost gosh, what if Eddie Vedder was a zombie?

Speaker 4 (35:11):
What would that sound like?

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Line?

Speaker 1 (35:21):
That's what better walk into animated as a zombies?

Speaker 2 (35:32):
What if Maynard from Toole? What if Maynard was putting
together ikea furniture? Uh? What if? What if Chad Kroger

(35:59):
from Nick go Back was putting up a bunch of
sticky notes all over the place? Missusa, you remind me
that's it? Uh? Vig, this is for you. What if
what if Heavyeld? What if James was oh Hetfield, Yeah, Headyfield? Yeah?

(36:23):
What if? What if James from a Metallica was a
flight attendant.

Speaker 8 (36:31):
Light?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
They put him in an airplane and he's pointing.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
His hand light exit light.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Uh, Kelly, this one's for you, Wie Harry? Uh? What
if what if she was looking through a book of
Where's Waldo? Remember? Where's Waldo? What if Debbie Harriet was
flipping through Where's Waldo?

Speaker 3 (37:00):
One way or another, I'm gonna find you. I'm onna
get Jagger, Jagger jacket your one way another. I'm gonna
see you one way another. I want to find I'm
wanna get Jackie ticket tickets one way another, IM goanna
see you.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
And finally, Diamond Dave. All right, this one's unique. What
if Diamond Dave was actually a bag of micro microwave popcorn? Okay,
all right, by if you're looking to kill some time today, Oh.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
My god, jump on more and more of these.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Oh there's so many. Yeah, Oh, we're gonna We're gonna

The audio can come from anywhere. The only thing is
all of the audio comes from the same year. And
we're all gonna take a guest. The person closest is
gonna win. Okay, all right, all right, Anna, here we go.
Here is your clip for the time warp. Well round
here we called this here a little twin twin twin.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
I literally know zero of these first time ever.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
I know that I know the second one, and I
just can't it's not Green Day?

Speaker 4 (41:03):
It is Green Day? Is it Green Day?

Speaker 2 (41:05):
And that's great? Anna? All right, you heard the clips.
Your choice, do you want to go first or last?
I will go first. Okay, Oh Anna, what year did
all those clips come from?

Speaker 4 (41:29):
Five ninety five?

Speaker 2 (41:31):
Okay? Yeah? The only the only clip I know is
is green Day. That's off of Douchie, that's off of
their original album, which was about my senior year of
high school. So I'm going ninety four. I think you're
very close. Annah.

Speaker 3 (41:46):
Oh well, I'm just gonna go ahead and piggyback off
you guys, because I do know Green Day. I have
no idea what year it was. What are the other two?
Are you gonna tell us later?

Speaker 2 (41:57):
Tell?

Speaker 3 (41:58):
Gotcha? Well, I'll just say what we got. Ninety four,
ninety five, I'll say ninety six, all.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Right, ninety four ninety five, ninety six? Thick? Yes, what
the hell was that?

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Well?

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Round here we call this here a little twenty twin twin.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
That is Chris Tucker from the movie Friday.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
Oh that's fine.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
And yes, that is brain stew by green Day.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Huh way.

Speaker 5 (42:29):
The commercial of some such a theme from the TV
show Goosebumps.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Oh, no clue? Yes, all right, Well, if it's Friday,
then we're all right within the window. It might be
ninety three, though.

Speaker 5 (42:43):
Movie Friday, the Dukie album, and the TV show Goosebumps
all came out.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
In nineteen ninety five.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Anna, well done, Look at you?

Speaker 2 (42:55):
What gave it away? Anna? How did you know.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
Green Day?

Speaker 2 (43:01):
Okay, very good, smoking the doube, hanging out with friends,
and you have got yourself a pair of passes for
Louder than Life, Single Day, passes for Thursday, Iron Maiden,
and a whole bunch of other Mega Dads and a
whole bunch of other eighties rock icons that you're gonna
be headbanging to. Okay, yeah, buddy, we'll get you hooked up.

(43:25):
You hang out. One second night he had seven of
the Blitz Another day, another story about We're not there yet.
AI just isn't quite there. A mom is going viral
because she jumped online to share some information about her

(43:48):
middle schooler's workbook.

Speaker 4 (43:51):
She lives in Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Student went to school in middle school, came home with
the workbook, and as she was sitting down with her
middle school we're flipping through the book, she noticed smears. Uh,
they screwed up where Kentucky, Kentucky, and Tennessee are located.
Louisiana was written out as look on l O O

(44:19):
k O O n G. South Carolina was sourth kawanto
c U A N t O.

Speaker 4 (44:29):
The periodic table.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
In the workbook was just complete gibberish. The phases of
the moon were all wrong, barely legible, just complete gibberish.

Speaker 3 (44:42):
And a mom was the one who noticed this.

Speaker 4 (44:44):
Yes, gosh yes, Uh. They renamed Mercury.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
Mark you know our planets, uh, Mark and Vicki and Eric.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Sounds normals bluto, right right.

Speaker 2 (45:08):
Uh. She emailed the school saying, hey, you obviously put
together these workbooks through AI. It completely screwed up. The
school did nothing. She finally contacted a radio station WDRB
down there in Kentucky and talked about it, and then

(45:28):
the school came out with a with a a.

Speaker 4 (45:32):
Piece of information.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
They apologized and said, hey, to fix this, just rip
the pages out with mistakes on them. That's what they
told the families. Just rip the pages out. And by
the way, they had to pay an instructional fee and

(45:55):
they had to pay for the workbook. So you're shelling
out money an instructional fee just tacked on, and then
you had to pay for the workbook and it was
just riddled with errors.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
See what's the thing that I don't like. It's like,
we can all have some sympathy for wanting to put
something together quickly or whatever, and you use AI and
then these mistakes are found. But then to make people
sort of have to deal with your mistake instead of
just correcting it, throw them out. We'll publish a new
one and we'll get you a corrected one. You don't

(46:29):
have to pay for it.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
You would think you would say.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
Double down, but no and make everyone suffer.

Speaker 4 (46:35):
But no, we're going to stick with it.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
And then we're going to tell you, hey, just rip
the pages out that have mistakes on them.

Speaker 3 (46:42):
Okay, So now I have an empty book. I have
a front cover and that cover.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
And that's it. Got I got myself a nice little
uh folder file. Now, oh my gosh, we're just not
quite there yet.

Speaker 4 (46:55):
And now the three things you need to know before
you go.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
Court appearances today for two of the three people arrested
in Friday's murder of a fifty five year old Delaware
County woman. Twenty one year old did Jamius Payne and
twenty year old Christian Evans are expected to be charged
with murder today in Delaware County Common please Court. Tamala
Dutcher was shot early Friday morning in her home on

(47:21):
Bean Aller Road. She died several hours later at the hospital.
Also arrested is the victim's eighteen year old daughter, Brianna,
who was expected to be charged with felony obstruction of justice.
You know, of course typically you know how the internet
loves to jump and blame somebody for this without knowing
any of the details. So this is what happened with

(47:41):
this woman's husband who called nine one one and said,
somebody just ran out of my house. They shot my wife.
People were like, oh, yeah, okay, right, it's like you
all owe him a huge apology. Yeah it was not
so anyway, a very very tragic situation. Delaware County. A
man is dead and an officer involved shooting at Sharon
Woods Metro Park. The Genoa Township Police chief says that

(48:04):
officers followed a suspect into the park on Saturday afternoon
after getting a report of a sexual assault. The man
was armed and was confronted by police, prompting one officer
to shoot and kill the suspect. At the park and
people who were there were not allowed to leave. They
couldn't drive out, and then eventually were allowed to use

(48:25):
the sidewalks to drive out of the park. But Ohio
BCI has been called in to investigate the shooting Genoa
Township police are handling a separate investigation into the alleged
sexual assault. All right, So if you haven't heard about
what's happening aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, there is some
concern over crew morale, mental health, and living conditions after

(48:47):
a prolonged deployment at sea in the Middle East. They
have gone more than two hundred days without a port call,
and the longest that US ships are usually going without
a port calls thirty to forty five days period before
they can get off the ship. They can get supplies,
they can get rest, et cetera. So we're talking at
most forty five days. It's been more than two hundred days.

(49:09):
There are five thousand Navy sailors and marines aboard the ship,
and things are apparently so bad that there have been
multiple attempts by sailors to jump overboard. That's how desperate
things are now. The carrier has been supporting the US
war against Iran, and word is that the Lincoln is
now supposed to be replaced with another ship, and during

(49:31):
a recent visit from US Central Commander Admiral Brad Cooper,
he told them that they would be going home and
guess what. Morale is said to have improved. They're like,
thank god, we're getting off this ship. However, an exact
date for the Lincoln's return has not been announced, so
they're kind of hanging out there in limbo hoping to

(49:53):
be able to get off that ship.

Speaker 4 (49:56):
But two one hundreds.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
Yeah, more than two hundred days without a port call.
That's a lot to ask of somebody, so much. All right, three,
do you have just supplies for two hundred days? I
guess maybe you're getting boats bringing you up.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
But man, well, if boats can come out, why can't
this boat come in? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (50:19):
I don't know if it's about the war or not. Yeah.
Being ready to go, I don't know. Grade Yeah, exactly
me too. All right, that's it. Those are your three things.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Hey, Kelly, you and uh you and Charlie want to
head out and makes it up with with another cowboy
a little bit?

Speaker 3 (50:39):
God is an absolute negative. No, we stop at dinner.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Uh. If you want to uh switch things up a
little bit, do a little we know, swappy swappy, you're
little some some lovehoney dot Com has put out their
list of top ten best states for swingers. If you

(51:14):
want to head on over to uh Club Princeton and
do your thing. Well, let me tell you you're in
the right place, because uh the number one state, Florida
is the best state for swingers.

Speaker 3 (51:30):
Oh, of course, you know you've got the villages.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
I'm just gonna say, your head down to the village
is getting it all with everybody.

Speaker 3 (51:41):
Don't They have color coded golf carts for whatever you're into.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Yeah, that and a whole bunch of senior syphilis just
running wild all over.

Speaker 3 (51:52):
You got a clinic on every corner.

Speaker 2 (51:55):
Oh, I mean they already dribble out, but with the
sibil If you're not going to go to Florida, that's okay,
You're can head on down to Texas. That's the second
best state for swingers, followed by Georgia, which I wouldn't
think Georgia would be in the top ten, but they're
number three on the list. Nevada, Tennessee, California, Pennsylvania, New York,

(52:20):
Ohio coming in at number nine. Top ten.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
That's right, Nevada is just Vegas.

Speaker 2 (52:26):
Right pretty much? Yeah, I would think so, and then
followed by Michigan wrapping up the wrapping up the top
you did. However, if you want to mix it up
with people. You should not go to Delaware. That is
the worst possible place you can go, uh, followed by Nebraska, Montana, Hawaii.

Speaker 4 (52:50):
I would think they would be a little more free
love in Hawaii.

Speaker 3 (52:53):
They want ah there. Yeah, they don't put up with a.

Speaker 4 (52:57):
Lot tight legs too, apparently.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Idaho, North and South Dakota on the list, Vermont, New Hampshire,
and Rhode Island. So you're in luck. Like I said,
you don't have to go far. If you're here in Columbus,
you've got a couple options. But if you really want
to get it on, head on over to Florida and
do your thing it all. Yeah, hang up your upside

(53:23):
down pineapple.

Speaker 10 (53:25):
And just enjoy not so breaking news. The news already broke.
We're trying to put it back together.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
All right. Our first story takes us over to San Francisco,
where I don't even remember the story, but there was
a San Francisco store that decided to implement an AI manager.
They basically took all of the business rules and business

(53:57):
plans and typed it into AI and let AI take over.

Speaker 5 (54:01):
AI's HR yeah aihr yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
And in Labs said Thursday that Luna, the AI manager
of and In Market, an experimental retail store run entirely
by AI. It's not just AIHR, it's AI everything, run
the whole company, checking in, checking out business decisions, ordering everything. Okay, well,

(54:28):
AI just fired its first human employee. Now here's the thing.
It's not completely unfounded because and In Labs, who runs
the and in Market, asked Luna, the AI manager, to
search her memory for its policies and determine if the

(54:52):
workers working there were a good fit. So I pulled
up all the employee files and looked at different things.
And this employee that was let go arrived late seventeen
of their twenty three shifts that they worked. Now, so
they worked there for three weeks and they were late
for more than two weeks.

Speaker 3 (55:10):
No, you're not fit.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
So AI finally stepped up and was like, sorry, this
isn't working out. We're gonna have to let you go. Wow.

Speaker 3 (55:21):
Did they get like a robo call from an ail.

Speaker 5 (55:25):
That's a good question, Shave, I need to see you
in my office.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
Yeahyay, I need to see you in my office. Please.

Speaker 3 (55:37):
I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
Story Number two where does this story take place? Hold on,
I gotta, I gotta scroll down. And where did it go? Oh?
Here we go. This story takes place in. It doesn't
say yep, and said, however, this woman, if you've ever
dealt with HOA before, you might know how frustrating it

(56:06):
can be. You live out in the in the farmland, Kelly,
you don't deal with the h o A.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
I don't deal with then h o A.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
No.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
I have dealt with a neighborhood association, which is not
it is not an h OA. It is some sort
of a governing board associations. It was a neighborhood, Okay.
We had to pay dues, and they did tell you
like or you had to pay a one time due
when we moved in one time okay. But they would
tell you if you had like your large recreational vehicle

(56:38):
and your driveway like you've got, like you couldn't have
a boat.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
And your driveway.

Speaker 3 (56:42):
And I think that's pretty true for most.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
Like I saw one guy who got yelled at, and
so he put his boat in the backyard and he
had a big wooden uh double sided fence for his driveway,
and he painted the fence to look exactly like his boat.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
It was great. It looked like a driveway and door.
The gates were opened and the.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
Yeah, yeah, inch aways are the worst.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Yeah I never had one.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
Yeah, I haven't either.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
We have a civic association, but.

Speaker 8 (57:13):
It doesn't they're not crazy.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
Yeah, you can't have your garbage can sitting up. Well.
This woman kept getting charged forty five dollars a week
because she had a brown, dead bush outside of her condoct.

Speaker 4 (57:30):
Oh my gosh, what are you supposed to do?

Speaker 2 (57:33):
The bush died? What are you gonna do? Well? She
had a remedy to keep charging me for for this.

Speaker 8 (57:43):
Bush.

Speaker 4 (57:45):
We're gonna tax it today.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
It's not dead no more.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
Sounds like spray paint.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
Yep, that's exactly what it is.

Speaker 10 (57:53):
I don't know today.

Speaker 3 (57:57):
That's that's a problem solved.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Yep, problem solved. And everything was good to go. I mean,
what else do you do? I mean it's green now,
so you can't find me. You're gonna find me for
illegally using spray paint? Would do?

Speaker 3 (58:13):
I don't get any ideas.

Speaker 2 (58:14):
But you're not so breaking news, you know how? I
know we have it here. A lot of cities they'll
do the morning news. You know, five or six am,
and then they'll repeat the news every hour until nine,
maybe ten.

Speaker 4 (58:33):
And then at nine or ten.

Speaker 2 (58:35):
Almost every major city has got their own little local
Today show, sit around the table, talk about.

Speaker 3 (58:43):
Advertiser heavy Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Exactly, they've got They've got a few in Detroit. And
this took place last week as the three hosts were
sitting around talking and well, let me.

Speaker 11 (58:57):
Just play you the clip that is if you can
and if you can provide yourself with food and again
you're there. Now they're ice fishing because everything is frozen,
and you're looking for fat. And the beaver.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
The beaver is the beaver is the most sought after.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
It is.

Speaker 11 (59:18):
Ryan, would you do you think you could eat beaver?

Speaker 3 (59:22):
It's fat and then it's neat.

Speaker 4 (59:28):
All.

Speaker 3 (59:31):
Well, you can't eat disease animals. What about a mouse?

Speaker 2 (59:42):
Yeah? I don't know about this, but you're really funny.

Speaker 4 (59:48):
You are a really funny gal.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
Oh my good buddy, Ryan up on Good Day Detroit
could not keep it together. I mean, it's like us.

Speaker 3 (59:58):
Trying to talk about the beaver, Creek beaver and Bucky
s Feaver. Yeah, we're all talking beavers.

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
Absolutely nothing like a fatty beaver.

Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
Yeah, you can't eat a disease beaver.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
You cannot, that's the last thing you want to do.
But but a fatty beaver, that's some good eating right there.

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
So this is this is not like, this wasn't normal news.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
No, no, okay, no, this was their little nine Am.
They're all just sitting around the.

Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
Table folk having a chit chat.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
We always see it. My wife and I talk about
it all the time.

Speaker 5 (01:00:34):
And I know you guys have to notice when you
watch local news, the minute they go off script, away
from the teleprompter, things get really weird every single time.

Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Yeah, you just if they're reading the teleprompter, it's all good.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
They get done and they just start having a conversation
and it always gets really odd.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
No, this was just one of their little segments. And
uh yeah, they were talking about like surviving in the wild.
They were talking about the show Alone, which I haven't watched,
but you know, you're out and in the wild by yourself,
trying to survive, and sometimes you have to eat a
fatty beaverse. I love that she brought up. You know,

(01:01:16):
you can eat moose, but I mean, if you're gonna
have the fatty beaver, which part of the moose. You're
gonna eat obviously, the moose knuckle. I mean, that's the
only part that you should be putting in.

Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Your mouth, right, give you something to do for a while.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
It will, Oh yeah, And it's best if you find
like the biggest moose knuckle out there. You gotta you
gotta do it.

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
And again you're there.

Speaker 11 (01:01:47):
Now they're ice fishing because everything is frozen, and you're
looking for fat and the beaver. Yeah, the beaver is
the most sought after, said Ryan.

Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
Would you do you think you could eat beaver?

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
Yes, yes, I could keep what she's doing.

Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
But she keeps really enunciating beaver.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Out there. Oh yeah, really put it out.

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
There's all out there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
But I'll tell you what, if I got to survive,
I am showing on some beaver. I am gonna feel
you gotta live, live your life. Eat the beaver.

Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
Should put that on a T shirt.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Baby, some of the books. All right, Kelly, I want
to give you a scenario and see what you think
about it. Okay, you go to the doctor. You're sitting
there on the old butcher paper, yes, and you're telling
the doctor what's wrong. Let's say you've got a strange

(01:02:50):
abdominal pain. Okay, it's been persistent for three or four days,
and you're like, ah, something's not right. And so you
go to the doctor and you're sitting there on the
butcher paper and I was just like, okay, why are
you here? And you're like, this pain, it's sharp. It's
been about four days. It's kind of on the left
sides here, and and then you hear he's kind of

(01:03:14):
looking at you, but not really Yeah, and he's typing away,
uh huh.

Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
Because he's googling your symptoms.

Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
Yeah, chat GPT, Yeah what could this be?

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Yeah? How are you feeling about that?

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
I've already done that, by the way, head before I
reach the doctor's office, I've chatted GPT the heck out
of my symptoms, right.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
Argue you have, maybe Charlie has, maybe maybe your child
Tyler has for you think and they're like, you should
probably get a looked at.

Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
But your doctor, Yeah, here's the thing is I think
I probably know what's going on, and what I need
the doctor for is an order for some type of test.
Like that's the necessary thing. Okay, I'm assuming they don't
know everything that that's what they have that computer for.
Always I always think that they're probably, but I do

(01:04:04):
think that they're a lot smarter than I am.

Speaker 4 (01:04:06):
And and that's what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
I don't have a real issue with it, especially if
I'm going to the family practitioner, right, because they're not
a specialist. Yeah, they're a general the.

Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
Best guess without looking inside you, this is my best guess.
So what's going on. Let's get some further test and I.

Speaker 2 (01:04:27):
Would want I would want them to maybe google it
and look it up in case I need a specialist
of some sort, because you're not a specialist, and so
if you're going to get more information, I'm okay with
that eight ninety ninety seven. Oh, here's what.

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
I'd like, like, press around, do some like faux searching
for what it could be, and then step outside and google.

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
That's okay, don't do it in front of me. Yeah, okay,
that's fair. I know you're doing it.

Speaker 3 (01:04:57):
I know you're doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
But if it's not in my purview, and it's better.
Thank You've ever had a doctor google something right in
front of you before.

Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
Not in front of me?

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
No, I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:05:08):
Well, I don't know if they have. I've never seen them.

Speaker 6 (01:05:10):
Do.

Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
I always feel like mine, and I love my doctor.
She's the greatest. I absolutely love her. She's very personable
and I always figure she's charting what I'm saying, but
it never occurred to me that she might be.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Touching totally could be googling your embems.

Speaker 8 (01:05:25):
I've seen.

Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
I've seen where doctors have admitted to pulling up a
YouTube video just as a refresher.

Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
Absolutely not in front of you, No.

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
They just they've admitted doing that, and I do.

Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
And things change so much nowadays. We're always learning something new.
There's always new information out there, so you can't keep
up on everything. So if you're going to google, I
would rather you google than guess yes than be.

Speaker 5 (01:05:53):
Like And I feel like if the thing comes up
and it's some weird answer, the doctor's gonna go, no,
that can't be right, and he's gonna look further into it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Right, It's just whatever you gotta do to get to
the right answer. That's that's where with it too.

Speaker 3 (01:06:08):
I agree with you. I'm totally cool with that.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
I do remember one time a couple of years ago,
going and this. It clinched my buttole a little bit
because I was saying the symptoms and I heard this.

Speaker 4 (01:06:20):
Yeah, and then I heard oh, no, that's what you
don't want.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Like when they ask you, Vick, if you had sixty
seconds to live, what would you do?

Speaker 4 (01:06:40):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
The doctor comes out and says, think, if you have
sixty seconds to live, what would you do?

Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
I'm calling my wife and kids.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
You better do that now. Yeah, yeah, that's the worst answer. Yeah,
you better go ahead.

Speaker 1 (01:06:54):
Doctor said this. I'm down to thirty seven. So I
just wanted to love you, and I wish you could best.

Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
Bad news. You have two minutes to live. You say,
what's the bad news? I should have told you a
minute ago.

Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
Oh damn, that would be the worst.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
That would be bad.

Speaker 3 (01:07:11):
Yeah, I've got to call your love me. I got
a call. I'm calling Charlie. The same thing. If you
had a minute left, that's it, say goodbye.

Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
I was really mad. I was really mad at my
doctor when I thought he was going on YouTube to
watch like an updated video about like a surgery. Turns
out he was just watching Gray's Anatomy trying to get tips.

Speaker 4 (01:07:32):
And I was like, all right, this isn't working out.
Now the three things you need to know before you go.

Speaker 3 (01:07:40):
We are getting a little more information from TMZ and
page six about the death of actress Hayden Panaitiera. She
was apparently found dead by a friend inside a Greenville,
South Carolina home. EMS workers responded to a nine to
one to one call, and according to audio, it was
an overdose with an unresponsive female in cardiac arrest. Call
came in at about one fifty one pm yesterday. It's

(01:08:03):
not clear if the nine to one to one caller
was Hayden's on again, off again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, but
she did travel with him to Greenville, South Carolina the
day before. TMZ says paramedics attempted to resuscitate Hayden using
advanced cardiac life support. She was pronounced dead at the
scene at two thirty two pm. The coroner will perform

(01:08:23):
an autopsy today. So sad, it is really sad. Thirty
six years oldh.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
Gosh, Yeah, she went through some things.

Speaker 3 (01:08:34):
And with that boyfriend. Yeah, I guess it was on again,
off again when he wasn't in jail for punching her
in the face.

Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
He ain't not supposed to do that, right.

Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
Nick Reiner's request to access his trust fund to cover
court fees and commissary items has been blocked. We know
that Nick is being held on murder charges and the
stabbing deaths of his parents, Robin Michelle Reiner, and we
know that his initial attorney, Alan Jackson, quit because there
was zero money to be made. But Nick's parents set
up a trust fund for him when he was born

(01:09:04):
that's now worth more than one and a half million dollars.
So Nick's been trying to get that money.

Speaker 2 (01:09:09):
You don't get it if you kill your parents.

Speaker 3 (01:09:12):
Nick's been trying to get that money to pay for
an attorney and for commissary items like socks and hygiene products,
et cetera. But trustees have officially denied the request, citing
California's Slayer Statute, which says, under no circumstance can a
killer's inheritance be used for criminal defense costs. The problem
is he's innocent until proven guilty, so he's not yet

(01:09:34):
a killer. Oh, he's an accused killer. So basically, the
outcome of the criminal proceedings will determine whether Nick can
get this money. If he's found not guilty, he gets
the money.

Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
Okay, fine, yeah, fine, but it's it's frozen until you
go through the court case, right, you don't get it beforehand?
I get it. Yes, you are innocent until proven guilty.
He's an interest.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
You hold on to that money.

Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
Interesting thing about it is that half of this money
he was supposed to get at age thirty. He's thirty
two now, so he was not given half the money
he would he would have gotten before he killed his parents.
He was supposed to get half. So he's trying to
get that half that he was due before he murdered anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
Okay, But also if your parents set up this trust
fund for you and you aren't exactly a functioning member
of society, you also don't get the money. The parents
get to say, nah, we're not gonna give it to you.
You're not you're not quite there yet. You need you
need a little help, because we know what you're gonna
do with the money. You're gonna you're gonna put it

(01:10:38):
up your nose or shoot it in your arm. So no,
we're gonna hold onto this.

Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
So since they're gone, if he's found guilty, what happens
to that money?

Speaker 3 (01:10:47):
His siblings get it? Oh he's else yes, okay, yeah,
Well in the air France Lounge at Charles Degaull airport
in Paris. They have a very quirky, little cool feature.
It's a really nice sauna for passengers. So if you
have a long layover and you want to just chill
out or whatever, there's a private changing room, an enormous

(01:11:07):
walk in shower, a beautiful wood paneled sauna, large enough
for several people. Well, I should say they used to
have it until recently Air France closed the sauna permanently.
And you can probably guess why. The lounge manager says
passengers were quote doing things in there that they should
not have food, stuff in the showers and the sauna everywhere.

(01:11:28):
And here's what happened. Apparently the cleaning staff got so
sick of dealing with the aftermath of all this activity
they were like, we're not doing this anymore. This is disgusting,
it's a health hazard for us. So finally the airline
gave the order to shut it down. Now there is
still one functioning proper sauna at an airport. The only

(01:11:52):
place you can get one now is in the thin
Air Platinum wing at the Helsinki Airport. It's the only
major airport with a working sauna for passengers.

Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
If I had if I had a two hour three
hour layover, and they had a sauna at the airport.

Speaker 1 (01:12:09):
You do butt stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:12:10):
I'm so getting it on. Why wouldn't you You've been.

Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
Worn folks in Helsinki.

Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
Book in his next vacation, I.

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
Wait, I cannot wait. Honeymoon has been determined, all right,
No where we're going. Well, we had the lettuce and
then it moved on to halapenos, and now it's the eggs.
The FDA has just upgraded its recall of more than

(01:12:43):
one point six million cartons of eggs linked to potential
someone melt. Uh. The contamination is classified as a Class one,
which means that it's a situation in which there is
a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to

(01:13:04):
a volable product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
But what eggs?

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
How do I know? Let's see. The update comes from
the FDA. Started on July twenty fourth, ninety eight people
were infected with the outbreak of samnella across seventeen states.
Twenty five of them have been hospitalized, and now it
has been updated once again. The recall was first announced
by Midwest Poultry Services. It doesn't say exactly what eggs. Well, the.

Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
Carton coding is p DASH nineteen fifty.

Speaker 1 (01:13:51):
So a cartons have a code on it. I guess, okay, p.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
Dash nineteen fifty or zero eight four or zero ninety
six two if you want to remember that one. So
just keep an eye out or throw your eggs out
and start over again.

Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
Do you do you buy a specific brand or your
care You just grab eggs?

Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Yeah? I did grab Kroger eggs. Oh okay, I will say, however,
I get livid at Nora if she brings home anything
smaller than extra large eggs. They have to be extra
large or jumbo. I don't want. I don't want the
medium or large eggs. I need extra large better yet,
gimme jumbo eggs.

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
The hell? Kelly. It was several years ago.

Speaker 5 (01:14:35):
She was talking to me about like quality eggs, like
the brown ones, free range eggs, and I'm like, is
there can you really tell a difference? Oh my god?
I changed up and yes, definitely tell a difference. And
I buy the brand is a Happy egg Company, and
they're free range, and they're brown, and they're they're they're large,

(01:14:55):
but they're they're bigger than any large eggs I've ever
bought before you.

Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
You might want to look into those because you can
buy large, and I swear they're extra large if any
I'm a store.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
Well. The other interesting thing too is a lot of
people don't know this, but you crack your egg. You know,
the darker the yolk, the better the egg you're supposed
to have, like an orange yoke.

Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
But that was the biggest thing I noticed when I
first cracked that egg. It was dark, I mean almost orange.

Speaker 5 (01:15:22):
In the in the store brand eggs bright yellow, big differ,
and there's a big difference in the table.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
So keep an eye out for pe Dash nineteen fifty.
If you've got eggs in your fridge, you may want
to return them or just throw them out because they
were sold. Oh great, I just read this part. The
retailers include Kroger and Brookshire Grocery. Great. So the Kroger brand, well,

(01:15:50):
they say they were sold to Kroger, but I don't
know if they sell anything but Kroger eggs. I think
they have one other brand there, that's it. I think
they have one other brand. Plastic container.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Oh my god, that must be at least fifteen different
kinds of eggs. A giine eagle.

Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
Oh really. Yeah, Okay, Well maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'll
just grab the crowgrag.

Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
Don't think about it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
That's a total possibility. I'm in my own lane. When
I'm a grocery shop, I understand I keep an eye
out some of the blitz.

Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
Now, let's see if we can learn you something. Sit
up and pay attention.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Yeah, let's learn you some stuff on a Monday morning.
Make you a little bit smarter than you were when
you woke up today. Did you know seventy seven percent
of people preferred instant coffee over drip coffee in a
blind taste test.

Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
No way possible that that is disgusting.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
No, app there's no way.

Speaker 5 (01:16:43):
Unless I've only had the worst instant coffee every day
because it's horrid.

Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
All my mom used to drink was full Jersey instant coffee,
and when I used to go, oh, who likes that
the worst? Now maybe they like fancy instant coffee. But
there have been twelve presidents who were fluent in Latin.

(01:17:09):
That makes it the most common second language for presidents.
Interestingly enough, Greek is the second most popular, with eight presidents,
not nearly as prevalent. Now Obviously, the last president to
be fluent in another language was fdr. He was fluent
in French and German. Spoke three languages. Did you know
the first chocolate bar was made in eighteen forty seven.

(01:17:33):
Up unto that point, chocolate was just a drink. There
was no night eating of the chocolate that changed the world.

Speaker 4 (01:17:40):
Yeah, thank you Willie Walkin.

Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
Did you know Polaris the north star isn't the brightest
star in the sky. It's the forty ninth brightest really
star in the sky. Yeah, we always told the brightest
star and fall of plaifs going ahead north. And finally,
the veggie burgers were invented as at a roughly the
same time as hamburgers. They both show up in cookbooks

(01:18:06):
from the late eighteen hundreds. Yeah, we just didn't hear
a lot about veggie burgers until yeah, because they suck
all the tree hugg and hippies came out. Have a
veggie burger.

Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
Here are smashed some black beans together.

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
Enjoy.

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
There you go, learning some stuff on a Monday morning,
nine night seven of the Blitz
