that like tickle and it's a couple of those deep sneezes.
And once you do that, then your nose is just
like running. Well, it's funny. So she was telling me
we're kind of talking about the week, and she goes,
all right, So Thursday and Friday, I'm getting up with
you in the morning because I've got my early gym class.
(01:10):
I signed up for Thursday Friday, but not tomorrow. And
this was last night. As we're going to bed, he goes,
so don't wake me up tomorrow, but on Thursday or Friday,
you can give me a little nudge as you're getting
ready to leave. So I get up and go, and
of course I wake her up to we all we

mess and I felt awful sneezing in her ear and
sniffling and yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
What does you think about starton high school?
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Excited?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Excited?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, yeah, especially since now that he's gone, he met
his teachers, he did the walk through, all that kind
of stuff. Back coming up a little bit later, I
want to talk about there was a story of a
guy who remembers going to his freshman year and the
seniors sold him elevator tickets.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Ah, yeah, of course, oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
And of course there's no elevator at the school. I
didn't have that at my school, think I'll yeah, we'll
talk about it later. But the thing we had at
my school was you were going to get beat up
for not wearing the right shoes because you weren't like
a cool kid. And you know, I didn't go to
the best high school in the area. Pass or pool pass. Yeah,
and I just I had never I didn't think that
(02:29):
stuff actually happened. So we'll talk about that a little
bit later. We got to get the festhole. Of course.
We have got your one day passes for Saturday out
Louder than Life. We're going to do that coming up
about seven to fifty this morning, and that is going

Speaker 1 (02:52):

First episode was amazing good. Dragon wars are cool.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Dragon Wars.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Dragon Wars are really cool.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Sounds like the name of like a a thing you
would see at the fair where cars are fighting each other.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Dragon war, yeah, dragon.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Wars or like a drag race. Yeah, that's what it
would be. It would be a drag race. All right.
Well good, I'm glad you got a new show to watch.
Let's go with Bliz Morning Trivia.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Thick all right, twenty five bucks up for grabs to
the first person to text in the correct answer.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Twenty five bucks to waterbeds and stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
That is.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
Business Insider has ranked the best college towns in America.
You know, we're about to start college football season here.
Who is the number one college town in the entire
United States? First one to text that in at eight
hundred and eight to one ninety nine to seven zero,
we'll give you that gift card.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
All right, let's get that answer for Blized Morning Trivia,
all right.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Business Insider decided to rank the best college towns in America.
They focused on places where colleges helped drive the local economy.
Culture and lifestyle also factored in population and some other
well known college town rankings. And number one on the list,
some people did text in Ohio state, that is not it.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Unfortunately it was ann Arbor, Michigan.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
It always is is it really has been for years, No,
Kenny years and years.
Speaker 6 (04:16):
I did not know that.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Yeah, well that's the biggest party school. That's always the
number one, right, what are you doing? This is just
the best college town.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Oh sorry, yeah, yeah, how are you joined late?
Speaker 4 (04:35):
They are party, They party hard down there.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Oh, the best college town.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Okay, alright, we didn't.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
We weren't even the top twenty timp Arizona was second, Charlottesville,
Virginia third, Damesville and Tallahassee were fourth.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
In field.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
Okay, so John Morrison, Delaware first one to text in
the correct answer, scores twenty five bucks to waterbeds and stuff.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Although you know, obviously small in size compared to you know,
major cities. You want some good food. An Arbi's got
some great restaurants up there.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Honestly, if you know, Buckeye fans listening can take football
out of the equation.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
I've heard nothing but good things.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Oh yeah, Universe. I mean it's beautiful there, like I said,
the walkability and the food.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
It's just oh, it's still a little iffy on stepping
onto that ground for the first time.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
In my life. Here, absolutely, yeah, so weird.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
It's silly, isn't it. I'm gonna I'm gonna walk in Michigan.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
It took a lot for It took a lot for
Nord to convince me to go see Luke Homb's over
at Yeah. I was like, I might get struck by
lightning the second I walked through the door, and we'll
see what happens. Anyways, I saw this list. I thought
it was pretty good. I want to see how many
you can name out of this top ten. The list
is movies that single handedly revived an actors career, and
(05:56):
there's one that I can think of right off the bat,
probably one of the most popular. But they've got a
list of ten. See if you can think of any
of them. Pulp Fiction number Well, that is the most famous,
I would say of the list. It comes in at
number two, but it is probably the most famous. John
Travolta getting his career revitalized by pulp fiction without a doubt.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
I would say Robert Downey Jr.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
With iron Man number one. Yeah, number one on the list.
Robert done.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah, he took a dive there for a while.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Oh yeah, yeah. Although if you haven't seen Well, I'm
pretty sure Kiss Kiss Bang Bang came out before iron Man.
I might be wrong, but what a great movie. If
you haven't seen Kiss, Kiss, Bang Bang. I guess I
really never thought about this, but it's true because there
was a little bit of like TV acting in there,
with like moonlighting and things like that. But they give
(06:44):
a diehard credit for revitalizing Bruce Williss's career. Really yeah, yeah,
I know he had done some stuff, but yeah, that
moon lighting stuff.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
How about a wrestler?
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Oh, absolutely, for sure.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
It's number ten on the list, but it's on there. Yep.
I did not realize this. Airplane revitalized Leslie Nielsen's career.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
Oh really yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I guess he had taken a bit of a dive.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Him before Airplane.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Yeah, a lot of people had, that is true. And
I guess he was more of a serious actor too.
Oh really yeah before he took that role number eight
on the list. Marlon Brando and The Godfather gave him
a big boost this one. Absolutely Key Kwan Everything Everywhere,
All at once. Of course, he was short round in
the Indiana Jones movies went away for a long long
(07:32):
time and then won it won an Academy Award for
Everything Everywhere, All at Once. Sean Connery and the Untouchables.
I guess after the James Bond thing and kind of
went away for a little bit, had the late eighties
and came Bond spouncing back with that. I don't know
about this one. Keanu Reeves and John Wick Kanna Reeves
(07:53):
kind of had a good thing always.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Yeah, I don't he revived.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
And then finally this one, this is a pretty big
one too. If you did not really notice or pay attention,
Brendan Fraser in The Whale. That was a huge revival
for him and an amazing movie if you haven't seen it, Yeah,
he hadn't done anything for a while, long time. Yeah,
he stepped away for a long long time. So I
would watch every single movie on this list, and now
(08:22):
I might just have to. Well, diehards are given. I
watch it every year, but I'm gonna go back and
watch some of these for sure. Today I had some
of the blitz.
Speaker 7 (08:29):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together, all right.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Our first story takes us over to Indiana University and
Jake's Jackson Hahn was a nineteen year old or is
a nineteen year old student. For now, we'll see how
long that lasts. He is still a nineteen year old
student of Indiana University, and he wanted to head on over
to Applebee's. Sometimes you just need to eat good in
(08:59):
the neighborhood. That's right, you know, you know you can
get a good deal over there, just so some Southwest
egg rolls, maybe the three for fourteen ninety nine or
whatever special they're offering. Well, unfortunately, Jackson got frustrated with
the service. I guess it was taking a while, wasn't
getting his food promptly, bartender or server wasn't paying enough
(09:20):
attention to him, and so he decided to get up
and leave and then invented about it on his Instagram story.
And you know, I guess it's your prerogative. If you
want to leave a review for a place you didn't
have a great experience, you might not leave the best review.
What you probably shouldn't do is jump on the Instagram
story and say that you're gonna bomb the Applebee's because
(09:44):
of the poor service and long wait times. Because you know,
if you do put that on your Instagram story, it's
gonna get flagged by Meta, it's gonna get reported to
the FBI National Threat Operations Center. And they're gonna call
in local authorities, all of which took place. They then
evacuated the restaurants for safety concerns and searched the whole place. Thankfully,
(10:08):
there was no bomb, and upon tracking Jackson down, he
did admit to the post, saying, look, I'm just hungry, tired,
and upset that I hadn't gotten my food. It was
a stupid post and I wasn't serious. Yeah, well they
don't know that when you put that out on social media.
They take those threats kind of seriously. He did not
get a slap on the wrist. In fact, he is
facing one count of felony intimidation, which can carry up
(10:31):
to three years in prison.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
No words from Indiana University yet on whether or not
they're going to take any measures or if he's going
to remain a student there. Story number two, do you remember?
Speaker 2 (10:42):
It reminds me of that story about the home depot
where the guy told the people in the bathroom you
all need to get out of here because I'm fixing
the place up.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, I'm blowing place up.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
And they called in a bomb threat.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Sure enough, all he had to do was poop really
bad like Kelly and Crean.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Jeez, hey, that was a private.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Do we need call the authorities here at the radio
stationally's about to blow it up, just taker. Story number
two takes us over to New Zealand. Over in Auckland,
they have got themselves the New World Supermarket. That's like
(11:29):
their big chain over there. These are nice looking grocery stores.
Not only do they have the grocery store, but they
have parking garages next to the grocery store. Now, unfortunately,
you do have to pay to use the parking garage
and you're only allowed ninety minutes. I guess because of
some of these grocery stores in the allowed area. The
parking garages aren't that big, so they kind of want
(11:50):
you in and out. Well, a fifty four year old
woman went to the supermarket and unfortunately, while leaving her
car walking to the grocery store, she collapsed. She was
having some sort of heart issue, a heart issue serious
enough that her father yelled for help. People quickly came over.
They put up a private privacy screen, and a stranger
(12:13):
immediately took control and started performing chess compressions before the
emergency bus services could show up. Police did get there.
The ambulance arrived and the person who performed the chess
compressions actually saved her life. Paramedics said, yeah, you died.
You were dead. You had no pulse, we got no readings.
(12:35):
This person saved your life. Well, that person after paramedics
showed up, just kind of Homer simpsoned into a bush.
That person disappeared. So the woman's father, Keith Wilkinson, came
out and said, I don't know who you are a person,
but thank you so much. You saved my daughter's life.
You brought her back from literal death because of what
(12:58):
you did. Paramedics were able to take the woman to
the hospital where she was checked out and everything was okay.
In fact, because of the quick efforts of this person,
she was only in the hospital for about six hours.
They ran some tests found out that yeah, it was
kind of a freak little thing. She is on medication now,
(13:19):
but she's gonna be okay now. Unfortunately, six hours is
longer than ninety minutes, which if you remember, you're only
allowed to park your car for ninety minutes inside the
grocery store parking lot. So when they went back to
get her car, there was the eighty dollars ticket sitting
right there. Yeah, she got herself an eighty dollars breach
(13:41):
of notice because well, her car was in the parking
garage too long. They tried to reach out to a
Smart Compliance Management, the company that handles the parking garage,
and got a doctor's note. Literally got a doctor's note. Hey,
this person died, could you cut her a little slack?
(14:03):
And they did. They replied with a letter. Smart Compliance
Management has been contacted to provide fair and equal opportunity
for parking at this car park. This is why a
maximum stay time lit it applies. Customers are entitled to
ninety minutes of parking. Your vehicles parked for three hundred
and forty one minutes.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Having considered your appeal in detail, we have decided to
uphold the breach notice as we believe that it was
correctly issued in accordance with the turns and conditions advertised
within the area concerns it's cold. Due to the circumstances
resulting in the breach notice, we are able to reduce
this ticket to a thirty dollars administration.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Feeww, there's no administrating going on there, So she saved
fifty bucks for dying, but she still has to pay
thirty dollars the overpark.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yeah yeah, for overparting. Oh god yeah. Got loads of
companies trying to make that money. They're not so breaking.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
I think you can die and get out of this
fine happenings.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
I gotta give a quick shout out. Scott and Jaff
are friends over at Myers Jewelers. We were there yesterday
because we are now in the process of checking off
all the finalizing of things for the wedding as we
are what two weeks and two days, sixteen days away
from the wedding, and so you know, we paid off
(15:28):
the food vendor, the taco truck. We paid off the
selfie booth because we have a selfie selfie booth. We
got our little stands because we don't have a photographer.
We just have a QR code and we want everyone
to take pictures and everyone can just share it to
the shared.
Speaker 6 (15:44):
Album because a good idea.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
I'm telling you, so, we're going so cheap. I don't
want any of that, but yes, and I'm not paying
thousands of dollars for a photographer.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
It's an insane expense for something you rarely look at
into your wedding.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
And don't get me wrong, I think they're complete, valuable
and I'm not, you know, demonizing what they do is
just I that's not what I want to spend my
money on, because again, I don't need a big photo
album of a wedding pictures and forty seven stances on
a bridge. Oh just I want my friends taking pictures
and upload them to a file. But we did go
(16:18):
to Myyers Jewelers, and the one thing that I did
want to do was when my mom passed, she had
one ring that had some little little diamond nubbins chips, yeah,
little diamond chips in it, and I wanted to get
Nora's wedding band made out of the diamonds from that ring.
(16:38):
And Myyer's jewelers they do custom jewelry there, and so
I took the ring and they said, absolutely, we can
do that. And so what they do is they keep
They kept Nora's engagement ring because hers her diamond kind
of sits up a little bit, and so for the band,
they wanted to make it snug, they wanted to make
it kind of fit. The problem was her ring was
a unique shape, so the guy wouldn't get a proper
(17:01):
CAD design computer design to then show us what the
wedding band would look like. The only thing he could
do was make a mold. So they made a purple
plastic mold of what the band would look like. So
we went in yesterday to take a look at it.
Nor I did not like it at all.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Oh no, I'm so glad you got a chance to
sort of.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
And here's the thing. Well, and here's the thing. And
I must say this, I'm very proud of Nora for
what she did. It took a little little nudge, but
I'm very proud of her for saying no, because she
would never she would have been like, Okay, that's fine,
I'll take it. And Scott was like, no, if you
don't like it, we're not doing it. I don't care
(17:47):
that we made the mold. It's not that big of
a deal. I was the one, actually, I was like,
they worked so hard on this, they handmade you a
mold and you're turning them down. But then I said
absolutely not. If you don't like it, don't do it.
So we found a different band that we bought, and
then we're gonna use the diamonds from my mom to
make like little earrings or a necklace.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Or something like that. Nice.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, so at least we'll use the diamonds. But yeah,
shout out to them for what they did. I got
my wedding band. They bought the gold from the ring
from my mom, which actually paid for my redding band.
My wedding band was free.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Yeah, so oh that's cool.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
This is really happening.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
No, right, we want to turn back.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
We were talking about all that.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Yeah, we were talking about is it too late?
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Though it's not. It's never too late until after you'd
say your bouse to we signed.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Yeah, yeah, we got the marriage license officially.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, no, you're it's happening.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
It's all there.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
I'd say two thumbs up on this match. You guys
said match.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
We're definitely not playing that.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
What are you going to walk down the aisle to?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Actually we found it. You're gonna hate it, but we
found wed a wedding version of Hail to the Victors
that we're walking. There's an actual wedding version of it
walking down the aisles for that? Really?
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah, absolutely, violins.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I gotta I gotta pull it up now. Yeah, it's yeah,
it's funny because it's got a mix of that in there.
It's got the but it it ties into wait and
then yeah, it kind of mixes the two together. So yeah,
(19:40):
once again, shout out to Scott and Jeff and everyone
on mys Jeelis for what they did.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
So so kind nobody throws out at.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
No age, I mean you could.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
No, you can't do that, absolute no, you can.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Kind of you could do that, And then we're gonna
start a hailed cheer and then we can just go
back and for it.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
We will be out numbered. Oh oh come on, yeah that.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Really really no. Oh well let's see, so what five
six of you? Yeah, we're gonna be number seven of you,
and then there's well but here, but then we would
start and then I'd have a set of cousins that
would be like go green, go white. We'd be like
if you no one cares, like, no one cares? What state?
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Okay, So but the next day we're gonna go watch
the game at the sports bar.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Is it all right to wear buck eye gear in there?
We are there be other people wearing buck eye gear?
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Probably not? No, No, I think it'll be pretty uh
pretty empty in there.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
What if I yellow?
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Eh in there?
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Okay? I just wondered. I just want to make.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
Sure you know how like Philadelphia.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Is and when it comes to NFL game, so I bet.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
It's gonna be fairly empty, not nearly as busy it
would be if they're like one of the home teams
was playing, so but.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
That and they will show Buckeye game.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Yeah, okay, we'll put on it can be really weird
about this Michigan Ohio thing. Yeah, I think you are
being a little like sensitive, too sensitive, Like it's not a.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Big it's not that big of a deal, but none
of it bothers me. I just want to know, you
know before.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
That's like saying I can't go to the Buffalo Wild
Wings on Fifth Street and have them turn on the
Michigan game. They're gonna tell it's a business. They're gonna
turn on the Michigan game. And we know these people,
We've been going there for years, they're friends of ours.
So yeah, they'll do whatever. People really, a lot of
people do take it too seriously. Well them, they're stupid,
I am. If they take it that seriously, they're stupid.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
I don't disagree at all, and I will fist fight.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Anyone for you that says anything else. Until they put
on a gun. Then you're on your own and good luck.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
Now that would be.
Speaker 6 (21:49):
Over the top.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
It's all over the time. I know it is. Believe
I get it. I am.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
It's not me that's at the top. I'm worried about
other people being over the top.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Nothing to worry about like all So yeah again, finally,
thank you to myers. Shout out to them on several words.
Speaker 6 (22:05):
Now the three things you need to know before you go.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
A driver who came to a dead stop in the
middle of six seventy near the Neil Avenue exit on
Monday evening caused a huge crash, several close calls. O
Dot yesterday shared this video, which we've also I'm probably
everybody's seen it by now. It was all over social
media yesterday afternoon. The car stops on the freeway and
just sits there. Multiple other drivers were able to come
(22:32):
to a stop behind the car safely. Others were swerving
into the left and right lanes. Then a tanker has
to swerve to the right to avoid everything.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
That could have been so bad what was in the.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Tanker ghastly and then eventually somebody slams into the situation,
causing others to rear end the cars in front of them.
But of course the driver of the initial vehicle that
stopped just pulls away without damage, drives off. That person's
not been identified or cited yet. But the driver of
the car that wasn't able to stop in time and
(23:05):
started the chain reaction rear endings was cited for driving
without a license. Oh no, so that vehicle was impounded
and that person sent some trouble.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
But yeah, I heard that was should lose their license forever.
You have to do nothing but take the bus or
the Rebok Express. That is it.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
I can't figure out what's going on. If they were
missing an exit, they never took that exit because they
went driving off on six seven.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Well didn't you say it looked like a break check situation?
I thought, oh you did, Yeah, you said, okay, Yeah, was.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
This somebody who was angry and like break check to
a stop because the guy the person I don't know
was a guy or girl, but didn't move.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Yeah, they just sat there, sat there.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Just a very weird thing.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
And it's so weird to say again again, what yes?
How was there more than one report of something coming
to a complete stop on a highway?
Speaker 2 (23:57):
So crazy? Well, we're learning more about how this state
cocaine trafficking situation was brought down. Apparently, back in twenty
twenty four, investigators got a tip about a frat bro
named Thomas Robinson who went by the name t Rob.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Of course he did so.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
T Rob was apparently selling drugs through Snapchat and receiving
payment through Venmo.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Why would you keep a digital transaction a idiot?
Speaker 2 (24:23):
I don't know, man. Was it public? Could we see
all the transactions on the feed? But anyway, what is.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
The reason everyone's just putting snowflakes and straws.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
Yeah, yes, snow mountains, magic eight ball, yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Pill pill, pill pills. So agents stormed his bedroom in
twenty twenty four at the Delta Upsilon house, found all
kinds of drugs in their pills, a handgun. They arrested
him and since then, for the last two years, he's
been cooperating in the investigation, which, oh which led to
the arrest of thirteen others, including his own dad.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
Certain State's evidence on everybody hed better not go to jail.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Well, let's talk about this nutrigina situation. They are getting
hammered online since the death of actress Hayden Panetier. In
her memoir, which was released earlier this year, she said
that she had a contract with the face of Nutrigina
for about ten years. She appeared in numerous ad campaigns
until she was on a talk show. I think she
(25:30):
was on Live with Kelly and Michael at the time, Okay, okay,
and she ended up speaking about how she'd been treated
for a postpartum depression Hayden. Panaitier says that the company
informed her that she had violated a morality clause and
they were planning to drop her over this interview about
postpartum depression. Her attorney informed them that is illegal. You
(25:54):
can't do that. So they apparently honored the rest of
her year long contract and then did not renew and
so it was allegedly over this postpartum depression treatment. So
people are raging against Nutrigena on their socials. If you
check out any of their posts comment section, it's just
(26:15):
riddled with just criticism and anger and we're boycotting, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
I will say. The only I will say is they
the lawyer came out said you can't do that, and
they fulfilled the contract.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
They fulfilled the contract.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
If they then decided to move on to a new
face of Nutrigena.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
I mean, you can say that, but the pr of
it all is going to sink you. And Nutrigena hasn't
made a comment yet. I am assuming they're going to
be forced to here soon make some kind of comment
because there are thousands and thousands. They are getting ratioed
harder than anything I've seen lately.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
And not to mention, and again, I'm not picking on
a woman who has passed, but she obviously had other
issues besides postpartum depression. Did Nutrigena find out about drug
use and things like that?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Like, it's just the thing is the bullet train, and
you can't stop it by justifying your actions.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
The information is coming coming out at a terrible time.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Yeah, yes, yeah, that's right. All right, those are your
three things.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Well, everyone's talking about the data centers and they're popping
up everywhere. One of the biggest problems is the natural
resources that they use, mainly a lot of water because
they have to keep the servers from overheating, so there
have to plump a ton of water through these huge
data centers.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
And FYI, most all the neighbors are on wells, Like
we're on a well, so that really impacts the water table.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Yeah yeah, right, yeah, Well here's the deal. Beverage maker
Liquid Death has partnered with Garage Beer, another liquid maker
or drink maker, and Jason Kelcey of course, one of
the famous Kelsey brothers, and they have created a commercial
for a campaign to help out data centers. Well they
(28:10):
actually made a commercial. Take a listen.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Go ahead and have another garage beer or liquid dense
sparkling energy, then send your fee to the AI data
center of your choice.
Speaker 6 (28:31):
We need to make it easy with these collectible sea
level mugs.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
We are the world again.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Yes, they want us all to join together. Have yourself
a Liquid Death or a Garage Beer, fill that bladder
up and then empty it out and send it to
an AI data center so they can use it to
help cool their servers. In fact, if you jump online,
they are selling pee collecting mudd for eighteen dollars. Wow,
(29:03):
actually have sealable mugs that you can find now is okay?
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Can you get in trouble for creating a hazmat situation?
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Now? Does the whole thing sound like a joke, Well
it is. Obviously they do not want you sending over
They're your p But they have a whole website, liquidesk
dot com.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
Right there and you can really buy the mugs.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Yeah, eighteen dollars. It's it looks like a mason jar
with a lid with a handle and it says data
Center Coolant right on there.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Oh my gosh, I feel like that's so dangerous. I mean,
what are they going to get in trouble for that,
because people are going to do it. You know, you're
coolier data Center with this, you jags.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Now, here's the thing right below, right on the right,
on the section where you can click on buy the
Liquid Death Garage, Beer, data Center Coolant collector the mu
ugg that you can buy for eighteen dollars, which by
the way, is sold out right now. There is a button.
There's a button that says notify me when available. Directly
below that, it says mailing your p to AI data
(30:10):
centers has never been easier with these limited edition, resealable jars.
Just fill these and send your data center your choice.
Also works for drinking your favorite beverage as well. The
suits want us to tell you to please don't actually
send your pee, so they've done a disclaimer. They do
not want you to do it. If you decide to
(30:32):
do it, you might get in trouble. You're on your
own for that one, but they do provide a sealable
container for your data center coolant known as your pee.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
So enjoy jagued.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
It's a Wednesday, which means it's time to visit one
of our favorite websites. That would be Fesshole, where people
jump online andanomously admit things they've done. You can do
the same at eight hundred eight two one ninety nine seven.
Oh if you would like like this person who says
I don't like my neighbor. Each night I walked my
(31:11):
dog down our street, I paused outside their house and
turned their TV off through the front window with our
spare Universal remote. One afternoon, I came home to find
their TV out by the garbage. We now have a
new bedroom TV.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
They thought the TV was broken, so they just threw
it out.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Oh that is crazy. I've seen people do that. With
being able to connect to people's bluetooth and turn their
speakers on and off, yep, you could really cause some nabors.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
People found this one when vacuuming the porch. If my
children have not put their shoes onto the rack, then
I'd put them on separate random places. It hasn't altered
their behavior at all. They would rather spend an age
hunting for their shoes than take a few seconds to
put them on the rack. Those are my two boys.
(32:03):
I swear, I swear they would do that. They would
not learn. They would just hunt the house for their
shoes and continue to do it.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
That's enough consequence, right. If you want me to change you, really,
you have to make it very difficult to.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Start putting them on the roof. You go, I'm sorry
you remember when Walter White got angry and threw the
pizza on the op of the house. I'm just gonna
start chucking their shoes up on.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
You want a good gown, tie and laces, gouts, throw
them out my tree.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Yeah, this person admits that little quiver a nanosecond before
you sneeze is absolute heaven. I'm addicted. In fact, I'm
now finding ways to try and make myself sneeze several
times a day now, I agree. Let me tell you,
up until about a year ago, I always said sneezing
(32:48):
was tied for the second best feeling in the entire world.
We all know what number one is, and number two
was either Q tips in the ear or a good sneeze.
But now that I'm suffering from allergies, it's I'm kind
of over it.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
It makes me feel it upsets my internal balance because
I sneeze so much that every time I sneeze, it's
it like cuts a little piece of me away.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
I've gotten to that point. I've gotten to that point
where I'm kind of over it.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Oh I'm over it too. Oh I hate it.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
I don't want it anymore because now it's not just
a good sneeze. Now it's a sneeze or a couple
of them, followed by like a really stuffy nose.
Speaker 6 (33:32):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
And then look in the garbage camp this morning, there's
probably I've probably already blown me. I was seven times
this morning, like over it. This person admits I was
forty three years old when I learned that not tested
on animals was an animal's rights notice, not a warning
not to wash my dog with this particular shampoo because
(33:53):
they weren't sure how it could react with the dogs.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Oh that's funny. I can see getting confused by that
in a way. Make don't put this blush on your dog.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
It's nice.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
I've been tested on.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
Animals this person a minutes. My husband is obsessed with
World War two, so his idea of sexting usually involves
World War II. Somehow, his most recent one, I can't
wait to spend I can't wait to send my panzers
through your ardens. I love him, but his sting is terrible.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Pansiers, pam, I really wouldn't even understand that, right.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
I don't even know if I said those words correctly.
That's how stupid I am. I could be completely misreading
those World War two words.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
No half that whole sentence is. It needs to be
looked up in a dictionary.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
I can't wait to put my grenadea in your miscuile. No, dear,
here comes my bomb, my bombo.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Wait a minute, I think I could you go up
with any type of World War two reference that it doesn't
have to do with Nazis or Mussolini.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yeah, see, I would probably go. I would probably say.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
I'm gonna occupy your oh, occupy your friend. Should there
we go? Hey we're spitballing.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go straight d day
on your Normandy beach.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Now about to drop the big one.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Yeah, you call it a landing strip. I call it
a Hitler's dash. Oh finally, go too far?
Speaker 4 (35:40):
No more?
Speaker 1 (35:42):
They want to eat your crumpet, all right, never minds
moving on. Finally, this person says, why.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Do you bring strong bad into the pace?
Speaker 1 (35:50):
That's a good question. That's a good question. That was
my attempt at a German accent, and I went straight
strong Bad. It didn't work. All This person says, I
was inspired by Shirley Manson from Garbage, saying she had
pooped on a cheating boyfriend's breakfast cereal. So I wanted
to do the same. However I missed and I pooped
(36:11):
all over the floor. He still got what he deserves, though.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Either way, you got to clean it up.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Yeah, he got to clean it up.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Yeah, yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Is it glass table? Unusually Germany? Never mind, Now we're
going back to German World War two sexting. Okay, never
mind as your feshole. If you're looking to kill some time,
visit at work today.
Speaker 6 (36:31):
It's the morning Blitz.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
It's time rock and rumble Kelly versus Goose the Blitz

Rock and Rumble, one of us is nice enough to say,
you know what, you both get tickets. Well, unfortunately this
week we only have all a pair of tickets for
(37:18):
Louder than Life. So yeah, someone's gonna win and someone's
gonna lose. That's just the way it is.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Choose correctly, wisely, where's that from?
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Wise? Oh? H be in your favorite Indiana Jones and
the Last Crusade when they're picking the Holy Grails. Yes,
the Knight's the Knight, says choose wisely? Yeah, uh, blitz hi?
Who's this? Hello? Anybody there? Hello? I can hear you?
Speaker 6 (37:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Who or not? Blitz Hi? Who's this? Anthony? What's going on? Man?
How are we on a Wednesday? Too bad? Thanks? For
asking Anthony. You called in first? Your choice? Do you
want to be represented by Goose or Kelly? I'm going
with Tony or do you prefer Anthony? Do people call
(38:14):
you Tony?
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Anthony?
Speaker 1 (38:16):
Anthony?
Speaker 2 (38:16):
All right, Anthony, yeah Anthony? Okay, Okay, Kelly, I would
have known that had you chosen me. But I guess
you're screwed Tony Conger boots blae.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Who's that? I'm sorry? Jen? All right, Jen, you are
with Kelly today. We've got a battle of the section
going on. Jen, Anthony. You guys hang on one second.
Kelly and I are going to go head to head
here in a rock and rumble thick. What is today's
category TV themes? Boy? Okay, I'll play the theme. That's
(38:53):

Speaker 4 (38:54):
Okay, to get it?
Speaker 1 (38:55):
All right?
Speaker 4 (38:56):
How's Kelly?
Speaker 2 (38:57):
Not good?
Speaker 4 (38:57):
No?
Speaker 2 (38:58):
No, it's okay. I'm ready. Just get this over with.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Too much cream cheese?
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Yeah? Too much started making.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
It addled with cream cheese. Okay, let's go by.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
Here we go. First one, what.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
Was this.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
Good time?
Speaker 4 (39:25):
So bad?
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (39:28):
All right, here you go. Second one, mister.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
Damn, I was just about to say it, but you
got it? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (39:37):
All right?
Speaker 1 (39:39):
That wow?
Speaker 4 (39:43):
I was like, I look at it.
Speaker 5 (39:44):
Oh, goose has to get this, but I mean it
all knows. I was impressed, all right, General, General, I.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
Understand why you said, Alice, and I was. I heard
it all right? Next one, yes.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
One, here it's three to two, Kelly, Ready.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Last game jeopard? Oh no, of course not four now
one thousand dollars pram truth to tell, to tell the truth.
It's an old one.
Speaker 1 (40:28):
Yeah, mad game.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
It's older than all of the ones you've knowned it is.
It is a game show.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
I know that. Oh I'm gonna say it. You can't
say it, shut up, Kelly. The couple show, it's the
couple show. It's the couple show where they match up
that way, it's the couple Show. What is the name
(41:01):
of the couples?
Speaker 2 (41:02):
You got to answer questions about each other?
Speaker 1 (41:04):
That match game?
Speaker 2 (41:05):
No, what's.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
Come on?
Speaker 4 (41:11):
You're so close?
Speaker 1 (41:14):
The really web show, the wedding game.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
What's the one when they have the three guys and
the girl has to ask them questions.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
Oh my god, we helped each other on the did
you know were you just helping me? Or No? No?
Speaker 2 (41:31):
It was no, I really couldn't remember.
Speaker 4 (41:33):
Okay, No, she thought it was newly wet. Yeah, she
couldn't think of it until you said it.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Alright, she said, the three girls. That was right?
Speaker 4 (41:40):
All right, you ready for the next one. Yes, I'm
exhausted from that one.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
I ran out of show go make it a game
show because we ran out of game shows. Presserck is
about the only thing we didn't name.
Speaker 4 (41:50):
All right, here we go, Ready, baby, did.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
You have one w K pansin tonight? Whatever became of me?
Speaker 6 (42:04):
We are tied.
Speaker 4 (42:05):
Whoever gets this win? Ready?
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Oh I'm walking dead.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Thank you. It's such a good time.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
You want to have a good time.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Just get me a come.
Speaker 4 (42:26):
Ever a time for us to have two pair? This
would have been. That was a great competition, was.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
Jen?
Speaker 1 (42:34):
You got the tickets? Anthony? I failed you. I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
That's okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (42:39):
I mean granted, granted seven out of the nine were
before I was even born, but that's okay. Yeah, you
were tied anyways, Anthony.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
Thank incarration last time though, so oh.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Good, okay, good, I'm glad you got something. Thank you
so much, Anthony, Jen, congratulations you hang on one second
ninety ninety seven of the Blitz. Well Hilliard School is
back at it today. Step sons both. I would assume
there now for the first day of school, a senior
and a freshman. It's so crazy to think two high schoolers. Yeah, yeah,
(43:14):
it's just insane to me.
Speaker 4 (43:17):
But then you look at the empty refrigerator.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
All the time. Cannot unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
I mean when you had to resort eating at gogurt
for breakfast yesterday, which I thought was so funny and
there's a picture of it on our blitz Facebook page,
I thought, yeah, you are, You're suffering the effects of
teenage boys.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Which, by the way, was it gogurt. I had to
grab at sheet on Roberts Road on my drive to
work because we hadine nothing in the house that was
not a house goto that was this little pouch smoothie thing.
They added sheets and I was like, I just need something,
why because all my breakfast food is gone anyways, So yeah,
(43:59):
you know, obviously the senior has been through it senior year.
For the freshman, I texted him this morning and I said,
you know, welcome to high school. You know, this is it?
What are you going for? And luckily, you know, we moved. Obviously,
last year was their first year in Hilliard Schools and
anytime you go to a new school. So I'm glad
(44:19):
he got a year under his belt. He got into
eighth grade, met some friends. Didn't just jump into a
new high school. That could be a little bit more difficult,
you know, same thing with the older one. He didn't
jump into senior year and have to join all the
people that have gone to school forever and joined their
last year or high school together. He had his junior
year to make friends and things like that. So I
think they're gonna be okay. But I was reading something
(44:41):
online where someone was talking about back to school and
goes man, I remember my freshman year, I spent twenty
dollars buying elevator passes for two seniors. There was no
elevator in our school.
Speaker 4 (44:53):
Yeah that happened at Grove City, did it really? Yeah?
We had a in the commons, which.
Speaker 5 (44:58):
Is like the where everybody sits, like with the cafeteria
where everybody eats lunch and all that, and we've also
had study halls in there. There's a senior balcony, so
once you were a senior, you were allowed up on
the balcony to eat lunch, study hall, whatever.
Speaker 4 (45:12):
But when you're brand new to the school. You may
not know that, so we would they would sell passes to.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
The to the balcony.
Speaker 6 (45:18):
Balcony, yes, okay, and you got.
Speaker 5 (45:22):
You nowhere right see, got sit right back down.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
I see. I grew up on just a block north
of eight Mile. And you know, obviously Emile became famous
from the eminem movie. But eight Mile literally is the
dividing line between what is considered Detroit and all the
other suburbs, and so the school highway where I grew
up oak Park. Technically I was Oak Park Schools a
block north of the Detroit dividing line. So I didn't
(45:48):
grow up in the best neighborhood, let's just put it
that way. And the big thing for us through after
leaving eighth grade and going through the summer was you're
gonna get beat up for wearing the wrong shoes because
if you weren't a cool kid, then the seniors we're
gonna beat the crap out of you. So that's what
we walked into. We were there were no like pranks
about buying elevator passes or what was the other pool passes?
Speaker 2 (46:13):
That's yeah, I remember like that. And there are some
schools that have madatoriums. And pools. The sales did.
Speaker 1 (46:20):
Not right, And so I want to know because I
again I didn't, I didn't have any of that. What
was that? Was there anything that seniors did the freshmen?
Did you sell the elevator passes? Did you sell the
pool passes? That little uh prank or raz or initiation
(46:40):
ninety ninety seven?
Speaker 6 (46:41):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (46:42):
Because yeah, I didn't. I didn't have any of that.
A senior balcony, that's a good one. Yeah, that's that's
a did did anyone did the teachers say anything? Did
they're wor get around or was it just kind of
on the d l Oh?
Speaker 6 (46:58):
I know, I don't. I never heard about anybody getting
in trouble for it, Okay, you know.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
Because I imagine someone would could get in trouble.
Speaker 5 (47:06):
Oh yeah, I suppose if you bought one and found
out it was, you know, a prank, you could go
tell on the person. Yeah, are there a freshman? Are
you gonna go tell on a senior? I mean over
fifty cents?
Speaker 1 (47:17):
Probably not? Probably not? You probably don't want that hassle. Yeah,
did your school have one? Though?
Speaker 4 (47:24):
It's kind of like hazing, but non violent, right? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (47:27):
Exactly?
Speaker 2 (47:28):
You know, how about like a fake map of the school.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
That would be a good one. Oh, just put everything
like on backwards. Yeah, that's a real I like that.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
One always and complicated.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
Do up a little drawing, print a few off and
hand them to a selex few freshmen where they then
are just walking backwards throughout the entire school. Uh did
your school have its own little initiation rising for the freshmen?
Maney several blots slack.
Speaker 6 (48:01):
Now, all right, listen the three things you need to
know before you go.
Speaker 2 (48:07):
Officials have identified a man who shot and killed himself
during a confrontation with police at Sharon Woods Metro Park
on Saturday. Janoah townshiped police a twenty eight year old
Galen Pinchot shot himself after officers tried for forty five
minutes to get him to surrender. Police followed his vehicle
into the park after a woman reported that he sexually
assaulted her. The police chief says an officer fired a
(48:28):
shot at Pinchot budd he did take his own life.
Frank Beard, the drummer for Zizi Top for fifty six years,
has died. He was seventy seven years old. Beard was
on hospice care for an undislosed illness and died at
his ranch in Richmond, Texas, surrounded by families, actively playing
with the band until dropping off the tour early this
month due to health issues. His death leaves singer, guitarist
and Zezy Top founder Billy Gibbons is the only remaining
(48:50):
member from the band's most successful decades. Bassist singer Dusty
Hill died in twenty twenty one. Uber Eats partnering with
a drone company called Zipline, and his promise saying lightning
fast food delivery once it's up and running. They are
starting in Dallas and Houston by this year the end
of this year, and they say their goal is one
million drone deliveries per day by the end of twenty
(49:13):
twenty nine.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
Wow good.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
Ziplin's drones are expected to cut delivery times to five
to ten minutes and reach beyond dense cities. Right now,
ubers building software to decide which orders go by drone
and which will go with human couriers. Now, the interesting
part of the story is right now, Zipline, the drone company,
is focused on delivering medical supplies in countries like Rwanda,
(49:37):
but they're making a hard shift toward moving food and
retail goods for companies like Walmart and Chipotle and now
Uber where.
Speaker 1 (49:45):
They're going to make more money.
Speaker 6 (49:46):
Yeah, is that insane?
Speaker 4 (49:48):
Are we going to be expected to tip the drone?
Speaker 2 (49:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (49:54):
I bet there will be a tip spot.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
Probably.
Speaker 4 (49:56):
No, you're not gonna tip, not a drone.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
No, all right, those are your three things.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
I don't understand ninety percent of the words in this article.
But what I do understand is a nuclear power plant
had to manually shut itself down because three control rods
dropped into the reactor core. I've seen enough movies talking
about reactor cores and what happens when there's an issue
(50:30):
with the reactor core and it's not good. At nine
seven am Thursday, Unit one at mode one was out
one hundred percent power. When the manual procedure was conducted
by operators with Florida Power and Light. The trip was uncomplicated,
with all systems responding normally. Post trip operations stabilized the
(50:54):
plant in mode three to k heat is being removed
from discharging steam to the main condenser using the turbine
bypass valves and main feed water. Unit two was not affected. Wow, again,
no idea, what any of that means, have you.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
Seen the China Syndrome, the old movie with Jane Fonda. No,
I haven't, Jack Lemon. Oh it's really good.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
And yeah, does a deal with reactor core is overheating?
Speaker 5 (51:24):
It does.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Yeah, it's a nuclear power plant, California based. It's really good.
It's I think it's Michael Douglas's first movie. Okay, it's
really really good.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Control rods, which are movable components made from neutron absorbing materials,
are used in reactors to regulate the rate of nuclear fission.
When they go into the reactor core, they absorb enough
free neutrons to stop a chain reaction and the reactor
shuts down. This facility generates here. Let me give you
an idea of what could have happened due to this
(51:57):
nuclear power plant plant and the reaction are the reactor
core overheating. The facility generates approximately two gigawatts of emissions,
not quite the one point Jigawats needed to send the
Dlorian back in time, but it's still a lot. You
don't want that kind of nuclear power plant shutting down unexpectedly.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
I think that we have two planned nuclear power plants
being built soon in Ohio.
Speaker 1 (52:29):
Really, yeah, you do not know?
Speaker 2 (52:31):
That makes County and Pike County.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Okay, Well, so well here we go, just just to
let everyone know. Kind of as Doug said in Layman's terms,
everyone almost died. I mean, you don't.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
Well, you can't mess with the core. If there's anything
I know about a nuclear power plant, you can't mess
with the core.
Speaker 1 (52:48):
We do not have Batman ready to scoop that thing
up and fly it out over the ocean, so it
explodes out there and not right on top of us.
Speaker 4 (52:56):
Did you watch Chernobyl?
Speaker 1 (52:59):
No, I mean I know the story. I don't think.
I don't think you can still go to Chermobyl. You
might be right, I don't know anyways, As of right now,
crisis averted. But I guarantee is not going to be
the last time this happened.
Speaker 4 (53:15):
No, I won't, definitely won't.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
Will not be at all.
Speaker 7 (53:20):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
Our first story takes us over to Seattle. We just
had a story in the news. Kelly reported to you.
Was it yesterday someone stopped on six seventy or the
day before?
Speaker 2 (53:33):
Yes, it was some Monday night and then yesterday O
Dott released the video.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
Okay, Monday night, Yeah, someone came to a complete stop
right there on six seventy out of nowhere, and they
still haven't found the person. They stilln't have an explanation,
but it did cause a multiple car accident. The person
who stopped on six seventy was not involved in the accident.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
They pulled off right after everybody crashed behind him, right still.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
Looking for him. Well, not quite the same thing, but
you shouldn't be stopping in the middle of the road
like this man in Seattle who stopped on Aurora Avenue.
Although not really clear the reasoning behind it, they do
know why he stopped. That's because he was asleep behind
the wheel. He just he just passed out, and police
did get calls about a car blocking traffic. After multiple hanks,
(54:19):
people going around, a couple of missed rear endings, he
was then you know, promptly approached by police where they
found him asleep in the driver's wheel with a pistol
on his lap. Also on an issue. A lot of
things going on here, A lot of things going on.
Here's the problem. This gentleman was a felon, so he's
not supposed to have a weapon anyways. So he was
(54:41):
arrested on weapons related charges and they have not released information,
but it looks like some sort of intoxic kim was involved.
I mean, if you're asleep in the middle of the road,
and this was during the day, mind you, this was
not like three point thirty in the morning. This was
in the middle of the day.
Speaker 4 (54:58):
He got some stuff going on.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
He does have some stuff going on. Story number two
takes us over to New Orleans where police say a
victim was walking down the street, literally just walking down
the street when they were approached by another person. There
was a bit of a verbal argument and a little
bit of shoving going on before the two men dispersed
(55:22):
and went their ways, and that is when the victim
who was approached by the other man discovered that he
has sustained multiple stab wounds. He didn't know that he
was stabbed during the altercation took place around seven thirty am.
I can only assume that, you know, the shoving and
yelling really jacked up your adrenaline, and so you're just
(55:43):
not in that feeling pain moment.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
You hear that about people who've been stabbed, like they
didn't know until they had blood. They saw blood coming
out and they're like, what it must be an adrenaline thing.
Speaker 1 (55:54):
Thanksgiving morning, my father was shot on a bus in
Detroit again. I got on the bus Thanksgiving morning and
tried to rob the bus. He had a gun and
he pulled the gun on all the people on the bus,
and my dad stood up for some reason. I'm not
sure why. My dad was a massive man six three
two ninety in the big dude, and he had his
(56:15):
hands up. But I guess the guy got scared and
ran And when he ran, he kind of pulled the
trigger and he ran off the bus and my dad
went and sat down back in his seat. And then
the woman looks over and goes, uh, you're bleeding. And
he had got shot in both of his legs. One
bullet went through both one. This one bullet went in
(56:38):
his left thigh, it came out the side the inside,
went in the inside of his right leg and came
out the back of his right leg. Four bullet holes,
one bullet, no bones, no veins, no arteries. It was
like the JFK Magic bullet. Like they had no idea
how this bullet was just making left and right hand turns.
(56:58):
I used to help him clean his bullet holes.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
Oh really did he well, did he spend time in
the hospital or were they just very little bit just
will clean you up?
Speaker 1 (57:06):
And they were just to pull anything out, No little
nine millimeters hole, you know.
Speaker 4 (57:10):
He just a band aid on each holl four leg.
Speaker 6 (57:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:12):
So he used to sit on the toilet. I would
pour hydrogen peroxide. Yeah, ye, so again, I mean, you know, wow,
he said once he looked down. Once the woman pointed
it out, and he looked down, and then he felt
severe throbbing in his legs. But yeah, I had no
idea that. Uh anyways, Uh, police did not advise on
(57:33):
the victim's condition or have any other circumstances led to
what happened. It's still kind of just a mystery. But
he had not know your stab multiple times. Good lord
that you're not still breaking news. It's a Wednesday, so
let's get to blitz therapy. This comes from Linda. I
can't you know, it's a tough one. I kind of
(57:54):
have an idea how I feel about this. Let me
share her email with you. It says, uh, my daughter
is nineteen, tellme from college for the summer. She's getting
ready to head back with school starting back up. But
while at school last year, she met a man in
his thirties at a party and they've been dating for
about six months now, started towards the end of the
school year through the summer. Now, she told me she
(58:16):
had started seeing someone, but never mentioned his age. Now
she's home, he's coming over to our house to pick
her up on dates, and I don't like anything about it.
He's too old for I want to forbid this. I
feel like I should have some sort of power with
her being in my house and all, but my husband
says it's probably gonna backfire. Drives me crazy to know
(58:38):
someone that age is influencing her. Am I overreacting? Listen Linda,
I don't.
Speaker 4 (58:46):
Think you are Linda. Listen listen Linda.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
I don't know. I'm kind of on Linda's side on this.
I don't know. There's something about under twenty one that
irks me. I get it, eighteen, you're an adult. You
can move, you make your own decisions, you can get
your own checking account, you can live your own life.
Do it. But there's something about under twenty one. If
you're over twenty one, twenty two and twenty Okay, maybe,
(59:11):
but you'd get upwards of twenty five and especially thirty.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
Yeah, when you're at a college party, you're the weed
hook up, right, I mean in your thirties at a
college party.
Speaker 1 (59:21):
Yeah. And it doesn't necessarily say a college party. You
might be right. It could be any sort of get
together or a house party, family, you know, barbecue, friends
of our or whatever, could be a college party. But yeah,
it's just all in all again, aging nothing but a number.
Nora and I would be in this exact same situation
if we met, because I'd have been thirty and she'd
(59:43):
have been twenty. I mean, actually should say we wouldn't
be in the same situation because I never would have
done it, because that's just too much that that's if
you can't go to the bar with me, no, I
might as well give you a pacifier and send you
on way.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Yeah. I think Linda's feelings are one hundred percent on
the money. I would feel that way as a mom.
But the dad is right. You have to handle this
in the right way or you risk alienating your daughter
and maybe kind of forcing her toward this thirty something
plus also get to know the guy. Really, Hey, you
should do that if he's coming over to pick up
(01:00:23):
your daughter hang out, just try if you can, you know,
sort of put your feelings aside and try to get
to know this person that your daughter's into. You know,
it might really show you something about your daughter. Yes,
your daughter's nineteen, she's in college, she's meeting tons of guys.
Encourage a study abroad here pretty soon. I mean, there
(01:00:44):
are plenty of things you can do in an underhanded
way to you know, but she's going to meet somebody
who's in her own generation at some point here. I
mean there is a generational age gap. Yes, if it's
fifteen years even so, I would say, get to know
the guy, be kind and polite, Allow your daughter to
be nineteen. I would feel terrible about it as well.
(01:01:07):
It sucks, but I don't know what you can do
that's not going to impact your relationship with your daughter
in the long run.
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
Here's the other thing too. It does say in his thirties.
It doesn't say thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Yes, is hell, he's in his thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
So even thirty one, thirty two, that just seems that
seems like a lot blitz.
Speaker 6 (01:01:26):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
Who's this? Hello?
Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Hio's this? Hi? I was kind because I had a
couple of questions, Okay, are they pretending to an email
we're talking about for blitz therapy or just random questions?
Twelve and seven and a half inches.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
So I had one lotters in life tickets from you guys,
and I had a couple questions about that.
Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
Oh okay, Well, can you hang on one second and
I'll answer all your questions and just the moment.
Speaker 6 (01:02:01):
Yeah, you're good, Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
Yeah, hang on all right. Steak and potatoes, yeah, thick,
all right.
Speaker 5 (01:02:07):
So you're right, Kelly, they need to get to know him,
and you need to ask yourself about your daughter where
she's at, you know, mentally in her mature level. Because
my one of my absolute best friends lived this. His
daughter was twenty three. Okay, she's uh, she's mentally in maturity.
She was definitely above the people around her. She grew
(01:02:28):
up as a gymnast, so she was very disciplined, and
she became a personal trainer, so she was in the
gym all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:02:33):
So she met this guy in the gym.
Speaker 5 (01:02:35):
She was twenty three, he was forty one, and he
was a marine. So these are two people in amazing shape, right,
and so they started dating my best friend was about to.
Speaker 4 (01:02:46):
Lose his mind.
Speaker 5 (01:02:48):
And I'm like, well, you just got to get to
know him, don't don't push her away. So he did
and they kept dating. Today they are married. He treats
her like a queen. He has an amazing jobs.
Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
I'm not nearly as bad as forty three and twenty
six or forty.
Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
One twenty three. Yeah, that's much father place.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
That doesn't bother me as much as thirty one and nineteen.
Speaker 5 (01:03:11):
Right, But at nineteen and twenty three, you know, so
what I'm saying, what's her maturity level and what's he like?
Because now they've got a beautiful home, they've both got
great jobs, and he's got a grand baby, and then
he and her husband are good buddies now.
Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
So you just don't know for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
I know it's saying it can't happen. I'm saying it's
still creepy and there's still a question to be asked there,
and I yeeh, Like I said, I'm on the Linda's side.
Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
And I'm not saying that's that they're gonna go. They're
gonna end up the same way.
Speaker 5 (01:03:38):
But this goes back to Kelly's point, get to know
him and ask yourself about your own daughter.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
Yeah, you know, Sean says, I'm forty six. My girlfriend's
thirty four. However, my ex wife is forty nine and
I was twenty six. Age is nothing but a number
as long as it's legal.
Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
Hey, you know, I would agree. I'm kind of where
you are on this goose. Nineteen makes a huge difference.
If you're a thirty something, you're old man. What are
you doing with a nineteen year old? That's what I'm thinking,
is a mom. But this is going to play itself
out your daughter, your nineteen year old daughter is not
going to wind up with this guy.
Speaker 1 (01:04:10):
I agree, Blenna tie, who's this? Hello?
Speaker 8 (01:04:14):
Listen?
Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
Hey Jeff, you turn your radio down for me? Thanks
so much. Damn Jeff, what's up? Are you on Linda's
side here? Or no?
Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
Well, I'm forty four married to a twenty year old?
Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
So oh wow?
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
How did her parents feel about that?
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Her mom? Dad's not in the picture, but mom loves me.
Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
Okay, when when did you meet her?
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
Let's see this spring?
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
You met her this spring and you are now.
Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Married married in jill are wow?
Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
Okay, you wasted no time on this go and you
have there were no issues with the generational gap with
interest and thing like that.
Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Actually, I believe she's probably more mature than I am.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
Now, granted, women are naturally more mature than men. For sure,
Nora is one hundred percent more mature than I am.
But yeah, okay, hey, if it works for you. So,
how does it feel providing your minor with alcohol? Hey?
Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
In Ohio, a husband is legally allowed to buy his
wife alcohol.
Speaker 4 (01:05:27):
Is that right?
Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
If she's under twenty one?
Speaker 2 (01:05:28):
How about can she go to a bar with you?
You can and you can buy her alcohol at the
bar and that's fine. It doesn't im Wow, I.
Speaker 4 (01:05:37):
Did not know that it's legal.
Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
But oh, okay, okay, I do, yeah, okay, all right, Well,
I mean I wish you all the best. Thank you
so much for the info eight one ninety nine seven. Oh,
if you have been in this situation before, I want
to hear this. It just more on Linda side. Does
(01:06:01):
she have a reason to be leary about her nineteen
year old daughter dating someone in her thirties or where's
a little again? Like something about nineteen something about teenage?
Teenager age just seems a little too muche ninety eight seven.
The blitz. All right, we're just talking about this blitz
therapy and dating someone who is, you know, eleven, twelve
(01:06:23):
or maybe fifteen years you're you're.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
What is it your senior?
Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Yeah? I was trying to think of the younger word junior,
thank you, wow, and you know again not against age gaps.
It just seems like when someone is still a teenager,
that seems weird. Moving on to a different type of
relationship topic, Americans were surveyed and asked about cheating. They
(01:06:50):
surveyed Talker Research surveyed more in two thousand Americans, revealing
what is cheating beyond like, you know, obviously going out
and being physical with someone. These are all things that
are not necessarily physical touch but can still be considered cheating.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
We're not talking foot massage.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
No, we're not talking foot massage. And for me, of
the ten on the list, I would be pretty hurt
by about nine of these and consider it full blown cheating.
I don't know. Would I end a marriage over it?
I don't know, but it's gonna cause it's gonna cause some.
Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
Issues, just like on the verge of cheating.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
Well, let's start, we're gonna go, We're gonna start with
number ten. Thirty three percent of Americans think that sending
heart emojis or like an inside joke to someone in
a romantic way would be cheating, like a coworker or
a friend of the opposite sex. If you've got a
inside joke going, or you send heart emojis when responding
(01:07:56):
to things that could be considered cheating that one, Yeah,
maybe not.
Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
Do you do that all the time to everybody, no
matter who it is, send hard emojis and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
No, I don't do it to anyone, not you.
Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
I'm saying erson that you're calling this form of cheating.
Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
I guess if you do it to everyone, then maybe
not thirty three percent? Are you? Are you in the
in the thirty three percent? Killing? Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
I don't like any kind of special private exchange between
a married person and someone that they're working with. Okay,
I don't like it. I don't think it's cheating, but
I feel I don't think comfortable with it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
Are you do you consider cheating thing?
Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
I think it's inappropriate. Okay, I wouldn't call it cheating,
but I do think it's inappropriate.
Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
All right. Fantasy messaging such as like hey, what if
we were single.
Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
Nope, no, no, no way, you're asking for what are
you doing?
Speaker 4 (01:08:50):
You're trying to cheat?
Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
Yep? Yeah again that's number nine. And this is where
it starts. I'm like, no, h having a secret friendship
your partner does know about thirty.
Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
If it's secret, it's bad.
Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
Yeah, I agree. Uh. Secretly meeting someone one on one
thirty six percent of people think that's cheating. Only thirty
six Secretly meeting with someone one on one?
Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
Yeah, where is this going? Is going to one place?
Speaker 7 (01:09:17):
Why?
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
Yeah? Why would you be doing that? Number six on
the list, keeping in touch with an ex without telling
your partner? Thirty six percent of people think that's cheating.
Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
I don't like it. Again, secret continuing a relationship if
somebody you're supposedly broken up with, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Why continue? And if for some reason? Because I know
we'll get text messages that, oh I'm still friends with
my ex or you know. And again I'm not talking
co parenting. This is just like an XX.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
No, you're hedging your bets.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Yeah, that's weird. Or I'm friends with my with my
girlfriend's ex we go play golf together or whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:09:56):
I mean, you can have a relationship with your ex,
but if you're keeping it secret, it's cheating.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Yeah. Number five, deleting messages so your partner won't see them.
Thirty six percent of people think that's cheating. That's weird
again if it has to deal with anything like sending
heart emojis or what if we were single. If you're
planning a secret birthday party and you're deleting messages from friends,
(01:10:21):
that's one thing.
Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
If you're sending me gifts that sucking up my memory,
I'll probably deleting them and not telling my heart right right,
But I'm not mass deleting texts from somebody that is
there something that's not right going on there?
Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
Thirty seven percent of people think keeping someone in your
phone under a fake name is cheating.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
What are you doing?
Speaker 4 (01:10:45):
You're hiding stuff, you're keeping secrets.
Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
Uh, thirty seven percent. Again, this number seems very low.
Thirty seven percent of people think maintaining a dating app
profile just to look or to get validation, like people
hitting on you so you feel validated, you feel wanted,
is cheating again. You got the app that's just leading
to no good whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
I just call it it's pre cheating. You're planning to cheat.
It just hasn't happened yet.
Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
Now we get into the forty percentile. Forty percentile, forty
percent of Americans think talking with one person late into
the night while hiding it from your partner is cheating.
Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
Of course, it is. You're cheating. You're having some type of.
Speaker 1 (01:11:28):
Affair here and forty number one on the list keeping
an ongoing flirtatious text conversation with someone going yeah yeah.
I feel like I think all these numbers are are
too low. They're all like the thirtieth percentile.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
They've seem lost single people like trying to imagine what
it would be like in a relationship, because when you're
in a relationship, you do not want your partner doing
any of those things night again.
Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
If I know that Norah's got a couple guy friends,
guy friends that she's had before she met me, no
guy friend that I'm worried about. I know all these.
Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
People, you're not in her phone under a guy in
her phone texts it's you know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Well, in four years, she's never gone on like a
lunch date with any of these guys while she's back
in Detroit or anything. But they've been at group outings,
which is again, what friends do. So if let's say
one of these guys uh sends a text message and
to the group and she replies with a heart emoji,
(01:12:31):
I'm not gonna care about that. But seeing carrying out
a flirtatious conversation with one of these guys late in
the night, Yeah, that's gonna be a different story.
Speaker 5 (01:12:38):
There's no way, Paul says, My ex kept me in
her phone under a fake name because she told her
kids that I had died because she was cheating on me.
Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
Oh well, that's a totally different reason. Yeah. I don't
know where do you fall, because all of these to
me seem very questionable. I would not be happy about.
And I think nine out of ten of these I
would definitely fall under cheating for sure.
Speaker 6 (01:13:01):
Now the three things you need to know before you go.
Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
Columba City School's bus drivers are getting safety training head
of the new school year. Drivers and other staff attended
sessions led by the Ohio Department of Public Safety at
Whitstone High School yesterday. Training included scenarios involving a student
with a gun and a parent involved in a custody dispute.
Can you imagine the amount of parents in situations you
have to deal with as a bus driver. That has
(01:13:28):
got to be a harrowing job. You just can't prepare
fully for whatever you're going to face the school year.
Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
I I would find it difficult to fit to name
five other jobs worse than a school bus driver. I mean,
and I mean this in the way that I pay
them all the due respect. They're doing something I couldn't do.
I mean, personally, for me, I could not name five
worse jobs than being a school bus driver.
Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
No, just the things you have to navigate every day
and think about when you wake up on the wrong
side of the bed, I.
Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
Be in jail. Gosh, IY either be in jail or
a parent would want to fight me one of the two.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
There've got to be some crazy stories out there that
bus drivers have crazy stories all right. Ohio is the
first state in the nation to require public schools adopt
a formal policy governing the use of artificial intelligence. A
new state law requires districts to submit their own AI
guidelines this school year or adopt the policy created by
the Ohio Department of Education. The policies outline appropriate and
(01:14:32):
inappropriate uses of AI by students and staff, along with
enforcement and measures to prevent cheating. So along those lines,
open Ai has officially introduced chat GPT for teens, which
has a new safety safety guard, rails and features designed
to allow kids to use AI but prevent them from
(01:14:55):
emotionally bonding with the chat bot.
Speaker 1 (01:14:59):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:14:59):
The model stops chat GBT from using any type of
romantic language or suggesting that it's a feeling conscious entity
like it cannot imply that it's a real thing with
a soul. So that's number one.
Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
With the for your cap no cap, no cat? No
no cap would mean good? Yeah, cat know my feeling
for you have a cap like I can only go
so far? Oh yeah, okay, learn your cool words, Kelly,
feel like.
Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
That's the boomer definition of cap. Cat means lie. No
cat means no lie?
Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
What well cat you.
Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
Put no cap means no lie?
Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
Right the cat I put a cap on it?
Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
Yeah, that's just a regular Webster's dictionary.
Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
Finish, gotcha? Okay, I'm being I'm very very very old
right now, got it? Okay?
Speaker 4 (01:15:57):
Yeah, you're right, no lie or like for real?
Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
Uh So.
Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Chat GPT four teens is also designed to withhold sensitive
content related to self harm, eating disorder, sexual content and
other high risk topics. Chat GPT for Teens is also
able to detect when a teenager is trying to get
a quick answer on a school assignment, and instead helps
guide them through the problem step by step. Okay, okay,
(01:16:23):
so yeah, I guess mom and Dad, you can put
chatchipt for teens on their phone, but they're still going
to use their regular chat gypta.
Speaker 1 (01:16:30):
So basically all this is is kind of a worse
talking Google. Yeah, this is all you're doing is googling information, right,
It's taking out what makes AI AI, which is supposed
to be as personable as human as possible, to make
it as natural as possible. They're taking that out so
teens don't get feelings or addicted or whatever. So now
(01:16:50):
it's just Google.
Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
Have you seen the chat gypt commercials with the old
lady just talking back and forth, Yes, CHATGYBT, but she's
interrupting constantly, the old lady, she won't let the chat
GPT finish. And that's never like a dress, it's just
part of it to show how seamless I think the
check would be.
Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
There's a couple different versions of that. Now. I've seen
a couple versions where they're having kind of a normal
conversation with chatchpt because that's what they're trying to show
off now, this natural flowing conversation, and it still picks
up on even who you're talking over it, it still
picks up on what you're saying exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
Yeah, freaky all right, those are your three things.
Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
You know, we still have about four months until Avengers
Doomsday comes out with Doctor Doom and bringing back a
whole bunch of characters and involving a whole bunch of
MCU characters that's going to deal with the multiverse and
the multi timelines and the way things happen differently in
different universes. And for some reason, I feel like right
now we're kind of in a different universe. This might
not be the universe, this might not be Earth six
(01:17:49):
one six, which if you're a Marvel fan, you know
that Earth six one six is kind of like the
main Earth. And I don't know if we're on the
Main Earth right now. Because somehow, some way, some way,
shape or form, someone liked it enough in this universe
to nominate us for best Radio Station with the Columbus Dispatch.
So if you want to help out in this universe
field free to jump online and you can vote for us.
(01:18:13):
Because it's not happening in the end of the universe.
Speaker 5 (01:18:15):
I can tell you that nobody can be in like
different universes at the same time.
Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
Right. Well, that's the thing is you are. You're in
every universe. It's just different versions of yourself in different universes,
you know. So, yeah, whatever universe we're in right now,
this version of ourselves is getting nominated for best Radio Station.
Speaker 4 (01:18:34):
I don't know what to tell you.
Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
So if you want to tax vote to eight hundred
ninety ninety seven, Oh, you can do that, or you
can jump on the Columbus Dispatch website and vote for
us for a favorite web for favorite radio station. We
would we would be.
Speaker 4 (01:18:47):
It's awesome. Yeah, that is really incredible. Actually, it's always nice.
Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
Yes, I feel like if we win, I'm gonna have
to pull out the old Sally Field. Do you like me?
You really like me? Speaking of awards and multiple universes.
By the way, what year are we in right now?
Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
Twenty twenty six?
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Are you sure?
Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
Because here's today's headline. Madonna leads all nominations for MTV
Video Music Awards.
Speaker 4 (01:19:18):
What whatever?
Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
What year is this?
Speaker 4 (01:19:21):
Just because she decided to put out.
Speaker 5 (01:19:23):
An album, They're just gonna give it at all to her.
Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
How does Madonna lead the MTV Video Music Awards? Well,
first of all, why is the MTV station still doing
video music Awards? They don't play any videos anymore. I
don't know. And Madonna leads all the nominees.
Speaker 4 (01:19:43):
I mean, I don't even know if I heard one
any of her new songs.
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
Like one of the I mean, granted, I know it's
best New Artists, so these are all new artists. I
get it. But bellaquet Cortus, Magnus, Ferrell, Magnum, Malcolm to
Miles Smith's Sienna spiro Stella Lefty who hoo hoo hoo
hoo hoo who?
Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
Pop stars? Popping are pop and hip hop stars.
Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
For Best Collaboration, which Madonna is in the category for
Bring Your Love with Sabrina Carpenter. She's going against Pink
Panthers and Zara Larson, Shakira and Berner Boy, Tianna Taylor,
and Lucky Day. Lucky Day is the name of Martin
short from Three Amigos. Why is there an artist named
(01:20:33):
Lucky Day? We are the Three Amigos. She's also against clips,
pusha t and Malice and French Montana and Max b
who hoo hoo who and who? Now, Granted, I get it,
that is not my genre. This is not the music
I listen to now. But come on, that's just strange.
Speaker 4 (01:20:58):
Does this Bring Your Love with?
Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
Bring Your Love? Was Srina Carpenter. Yeah, I'm sure it's
a dance tune because Madonna's seventy five years old, still
trying to do dance music. But okay, are you trying
to play it? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:21:11):
I just I don't know what Madonna sounds like today. Yeah,
dancing around in all black, this dance techno stuff.
Speaker 8 (01:21:21):
Here, that's Sabrina very much Madonna song.
Speaker 4 (01:21:39):
Yes, Madonna's step.
Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
Well, welcome to twenty twenty six, where old things are
new again and Madonna leads the MTV Video Music or nominees. Now,
let's see if we can learn you something. Sit up
and pay attention. Alright, let's learn you of some stuff
(01:22:04):
on a Wednesday morning. Make you a little bit smarter
than you were when you woke up today, Like, did
you know there was a fifty four percent jump in
ukulele sales in twenty thirteen and the National Association of
Music merchants. Thinks it's because that's when videos and reels
and vines and youtubes all took off and people wanted
(01:22:25):
to play silly little ukulele songs in their videos.
Speaker 4 (01:22:28):
Yeah there was. Is there a name vander Wall or something?
Speaker 5 (01:22:32):
She won American Idol playing a ukulele and singing songs.
Speaker 4 (01:22:37):
She had made records after that. I don't know if
that was happened to be Maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
That I could be it too. Yeah. Uh, did you
know cheese is not one of the twenty seven ingredients
listed on the side of a can of cheese whiz.
I believe that it does list cheese cultures which is
used in processed cheese. But while I grew up on
cheese whizz, yeah, I did not get. I did not
have boxed macaroni and cheese until I was in college.
(01:23:03):
My mom always bought elbow macaroni and cheese wish. Oh
that's how she made macaroni and cheese O better. Oh,
box macaroni chees I wasn't sure. I'll give me the
cheese powder all days.
Speaker 4 (01:23:15):
I didn't know if that was really much different.
Speaker 1 (01:23:17):
Yeah, no, it's not as good, not as good. Did
you know the original piano was created by Bartolomewle Cristofori
in Italy in the early seventeen hundreds. It only had
fifty four keys, and it did not have the eighty
eight keys that we have on a piano today. It
only had fifty four. Did you know North America has
(01:23:37):
one carnivorous butterfly. It's called the harvester. The caterpillar doesn't
eat plants. It eats apids, which are little tiny bugs
that eat trees. Yeah. And finally, did you know the
UK had a ban on nunchucks in movies until nineteen
(01:23:59):
ninety nine. Fact and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles two The
Secret of the US in nineteen ninety one, they showed
one of the turtles using a string of sausage like
nunchucks instead of actual nunchucks they used just use sausage.
But how did they have the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
Did they not show the cartoon? Because you can't show
(01:24:19):
Michaelangelo without the nunchucks?
Speaker 4 (01:24:22):
So what about Enter the Dragon?
Speaker 1 (01:24:24):
Enter the Dragon? There's a lot of it.
Speaker 4 (01:24:25):
I mean, there's so many nunchucks scenes and enter the Dragon.
What do they do?
Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
They didn't show them or they cgied out the nunchucks.
That movie was destroyed if he did that. It was
really interesting when you watch Bruce Lee flip around some fish,
two fish tied together in the string. What's really silly.
Speaker 4 (01:24:45):
Gonna slapped somebody upside the head?
Speaker 1 (01:24:48):
I you know, I think I'd rather see that. I'd
rather see someone get slapped with the fishunchuck. Yeah, absolutely so.
They finally lifted the band in. Nunchucks are now allowed
in movies. Learning of Some Stuff on a Wednesday Morning
