Speaker 1 (00:03):
Have a great Friday, you motherf * * * er.
High of 82 today. Sunny skies. And, well, as of
right now, although there's no signs of it stopping, but
we have reached the, we've reached our three. Three in
three days with Peter Cullen. Come on!

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Okay, I didn't know who he was. I feel like
I at least need to know who the person is
before it counts as the third.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
We know who Optimus Prime is.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I know who Eeyore is.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Eeyore? Okay, that too.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
So, I guess, I guess we'll shoehorn him in there.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Man, no respect for him. My name is Optimus Prime.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Peter Cullen passed away at 85.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I mean, rest in peace. No offense. But it's got
to be a big three. We've got a big two.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
We've got a big two. Yes, I'm not putting him
on the same level as Dolly Parton, obviously. But he
meant a lot to a lot of people. Yeah, okay.
A lot of young boys' first time having an emotional
connection and crying was when Optimus Prime died in the
Transformers movie. Oh, okay. He turns gray. Man, man.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I guess I just have part of the culture to
know how important.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
I'm thankful for you, Goose.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I'm telling you.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I am so thankful for you.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
Because my wife makes fun of me for loving Transformers
all the time.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I used to love Transformers.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Absolutely, man.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Come on. Awesome. In fact, you need to pull up,
you got the, what's it called? Oh, what's the name
of the song? You Got the Power.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I've got the power.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Nope, not that one. What is it called? Hold on
one second.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
The Touch!

Speaker 1 (01:59):
That's what it's called. Look up The Touch by Stan Bush. Which,
by the way, if you want to hear a great
rendition of The Touch, watch Boogie Nights, because Mark Wahlberg
sings You've Got the Touch when he tries to make
a music career.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
It's a pretty good rendition of The Touch. But the
original by Stan Bush... You've got the touch.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You've got.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
The power.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Yeah!

Speaker 1 (02:34):
No, crank it up. This doesn't motivate you on a
Friday morning into your weekend.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
I don't know what will.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Just listen. This video is terrible.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Oh, yeah. You're nobody's fool.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Oh, just wait till the chorus drops. Here we go.
You got the touch! You got the power!

Speaker 7 (03:21):
When all hell's breaking loose, you'll be running in the
eye of the storm.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
When all hell's breaking loose, you're running in the eye
of the storm.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Come on!

Speaker 8 (03:33):
You got the motion.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Is this me?

Speaker 9 (03:38):
Going up?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
All right. I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Oh, the guitar show.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Let's go. If you ever enter an air guitar competition,
this could be the song that you do. I'm telling you.
How are you, Kelly, on a Friday?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I'm doing really well. Okay.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
You're better now.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Now that I heard that song.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Now that you heard that song.

Speaker 10 (04:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
You're pumped and ready to go for a Friday morning.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Is that Survivor? Sounds like Survivor.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
It does, doesn't it? Kind of a little bit. Yeah.
Or Europe, maybe.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Maybe.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
But, no, it's Stan Bush. The good old Stan Bush.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Another fella I've never heard of.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
How are you, Thick? I'm doing good. All is well? Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
I'm wondering why I didn't see you pulling in your
car today.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I'll tell you about that in an hour.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh, no.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I think the.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Did you wreck it between your house and Kroger, going
back and forth a million times? Did you keep forgetting groceries?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Not quite.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Okay. Not quite. I will tell you this, though. I'm
going to give you the full story in one hour.
All right. But the gods of the Rainbow Bridge had
their vengeance. Let me just... Let me put it that way.
Gods of the Rainbow Bridge.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I feel like you hit something now.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Gods of the Rainbow Bridge had the revenge. That's how
I feel is what's happening right now. That's my explanation
for what happened yesterday.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
The Gods of the Rainbow Bridge. were showing me who's boss, basically.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Is this an extension of a story you told yesterday?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Okie dokie.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yep, so we'll get into that in about an hour. Also,
I found this great list of questions, and I want
to do a little segment called, Would You Want to Know?
And so it's a series of questions, and it's basically,
would you want to know the answer to these questions,
which we'll get into coming up about 7.40 this morning.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Right now, let's go with Blitz Morning Trivia, Thick.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
All right, $ 25 up for grabs to waterbeds and stuff
if you're the first one to text in the correct answer.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Real simple. Tell us who the tallest rock star is.
That's it. The tallest rock star. The tallest rock star
is a member.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Of a rock band.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Now, my only question is, does this include.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Costumes and dress?

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Because if it does, obviously the members of Kiss and
their seven-foot boots automatically, their elevator shoes automatically make them
the tallest.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
I'll tell you now.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
It's not a member of Kiss. They don't wear costumes.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Okay. And it's a band we play.

Speaker 7 (06:22):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Okay. Awesome. The tallest rock star.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Who is it?

Speaker 6 (06:25):
First one to text it in at 800-821-9970.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
We'll give you the gift card.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
All right.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Let's get that answer for Blitz 20 Trivia Thick.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
All right. Well, the question was, tell us who the
tallest rock star is.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
And I was waiting for somebody to get the answer,
which I had as Chris Novoselic from Nirvana, who's 6'7.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah, it was an Ultimate Classic Rocker. Something came out
with a list.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah. And nobody was getting it. Nobody was getting it.
But everybody kept typing another name, and so I checked.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
And I went, well, the classic rock is wrong, because
Chris Novoselic is not.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
The tallest rock star.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
It is Peter Steele from Type O.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Negative, who is 6'8.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Oh, an inch taller.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Yes. All right.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
Because they listed Novoselic at 6'7, who beat out Mick
Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac, and Joey Ramone from the Rowans
by an inch.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
But it turns out... Peter Steele is the tallest rock star.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
You know, Blitz Nation will always come through when something
is not right. And I just got lots of Peter
Steele answers.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I'm like, well, let me check this out. Yeah, he's 6'8.
So that is the answer.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
And Bobby Gorsuch from Zanesville was the first of many
who knew that it was Peter Steele. So he gets
the 25 bucks to waterbeds and stuff. By the way,
typo negative. You remember the song Summer Breeze by Seals
and Crofts?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Yeah, they did a cover of that. Oh, wait, no,
I'm sorry, that's Summer Girl.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
They had to change it because Seals and Cross did
not like it.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
So they changed it to Summer Girl.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Still the same song.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
It is exactly the same.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
We played this for a minute. Okay. That's a pull
of the collar right there.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Stills and Crofts isn't the only one who thinks it's terrible.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
They did have a lot of other good rock songs.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Very big here.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I wanted to share with you, you know, obviously we
are still talking about Dolly as more information is coming
out and people are paying tributes. People all over the
place are singing I Will Always Love You. Chris Stapleton
was just in concert, and he paid tribute to Dolly
by playing the song during his show.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
That man can sing the phone book.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yep. Well, he's not the only one. Because someone else
decided to come out and share their version of I
Will Always Love You. Take a listen and see if
you can guess who this is.

Speaker 7 (09:08):
And I will always love you.

Speaker 8 (09:17):
Oh, God.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Now, here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
There's no Chris Stapleton.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
There's no Chris Stapleton. This person is an A-list star.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Big time actor not a musician obviously and you can
hear it right in the first second take a listen

(09:50):
here let me change the words to the song real
quick play it one more time Thick Okay, now I'm
going to change the words to the song to give
you a little clue, okay? Start it over again. And I.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Am Groot.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Why is Vin Diesel singing a song I don't understand?
It makes no sense why he would put this out.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
It's because your heart is insisting you honor Dolly. Okay.
You know, it's like he just doesn't want to say something.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Can I tell you another quick story that just came out?
Because Dolly's sister was obviously talking about her legacy and
what was going on. This is how amazing Dolly was,
because not only did we talk about her music and
her career, but her philanthropy as well and how much
she gave back. This is how much she gave back.
It wasn't well known that she was battling cancer. Very

(10:56):
few people knew that she was battling cancer, and that's
what ultimately took her. She was so selfless. She told
her doctors, give me every experimental drug you have so
I am a guinea pig. So hopefully this helps other
people dealing with cancer.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Down the line.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Because, you know, eventually, at some point, if you're going
to take medicine, it's been tested on humans. And they've
got to have people volunteer to do that. And she
stepped up and said, yes, give me the experimental drugs.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
That dolly, I swear.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
So we know.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
To the bitter end.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
To the very end. That's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
My gosh. I will say this, though, and I've had
this conversation with Nora before in that if I ever
get to the point of it's like terminal brain, whatever
it is, give me the experimental stuff. Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
For two reasons.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
One, what if it works?

Speaker 8 (11:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
And two, then yes, maybe you learn something out of
it because I'm not getting out of this thing alive anyways,
so what does it matter? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Oh, I hope I'm generous. I really do. I hope
that that is what.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Happens in my life. You're not sure when you get
there if.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
You're going to be like... Can you imagine the panic
of finding out you have a terminal illness that... You know,
you can choose to do the route of chemo or
radiation or whatever and really try to battle this thing.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Right.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Or you can choose the route of being.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
The experimental route, yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
And then they don't know all the side effects yet
and all of a sudden you grow like a third
arm and you're like, what the.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Okay, this one doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
And I think they exhaust all normal ways of dealing
with it. And then when you're done with those, they're like, hey,
do you want to try something? It's a last-ditch effort.
I think I'm being selfish the whole way, thinking, please,
please kill this thing.

Speaker 6 (12:50):
I'm hoping if I'm allowing you to use me as
a guinea pig, I don't have to pay you.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Usually you don't.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
So there's that.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
For experimental drugs, I think your insurance doesn't cover it,
but I think somebody pays for it.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Well, yeah, they get grants and the researchers and.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
That kind of stuff. Okay, so you just volunteer.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
I got you.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Well, that's good to know.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
So there's that.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
I mean, that way you don't drain, you know, because
if you're going to die, you don't want to leave
your family broke.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
So if you guys got some money. Right, right.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
So I'll take the chance with the experiment.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Here's an experimental drug. $ 500, 000 a pill.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Okay, I'll pass.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Never mind. But yeah, normally the experiment ones, sometimes they
even pay you for it. So, I don't know. Anyways,
good on you. How much?

Speaker 5 (13:36):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
If you're going to get to the top of the
mountain on your way up, people are going to try
and kick you down. It's a tale as old as time.
It doesn't matter who you are. If you are going
to be the best, the greatest, the biggest, there are
going to be people constantly trying to kick you down.
And then once you get up there, They're going to
try and kick you down even harder.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
They're going to come at you every.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Way, shape, and form.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
It's all support until you pass the halfway point. And
then it's like, oh, for the.

Speaker 7 (14:11):
Worst for that person.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Yes. And then when you basically become one of one,
they're really going to come after you in every way, shape,
or form. And that has happened yet again to a
one of one, Tom Brady. Unfortunately. You may not know this,
but Tom Brady, now that he's out of being an

(14:33):
actual football player, he's got his hands in a whole
bunch of different things. He's got his TB12 line and broadcasting.
His partial ownership of the Raiders. Partial ownership of the Raiders.
He also has a partial ownership in a business called
Card Vault. If you are into collecting cards and things
like that, you may have visited Card Vault in New
York City. That's what they do. They sell and trade

(14:56):
sports cards and things like that. Well, they just opened up.
another store in Palo Alto out there in California. Uh,
the card vault opened on August 15th and on the 23rd,
exactly eight days later, someone smashed the window, ran in,
stole about $ 12, 000 worth of merch.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Now here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Um, last year, the card vault in New York city
got robbed too. Someone smashed the window, ran in, grabbed
about $ 10, 000 worth of stuff. Uh, neither instance has anyone
been arrested yet. Tom bought the company, or half the company,
I should say, back in February 2025. So they're just
going to come after you any way they can. Now, $ 10, 000.

(15:38):
Tom can walk in there and just take it out
of his wallet and be like, here, I'll cover the losses.
Not a big deal. But still, it's a bummer.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Don't go robbing stores.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
You're violated.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
My business. You violated my business.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Have you guys ever been robbed?

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Um.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
No, I had my bike stolen when I was a
kid shortly after I got it as a birthday gift.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
That's exactly what happened to me.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
And it was a nice mongoose, silver, had the front
and back pegs. My parents went broke getting me this
for my birthday, and it was stolen just a couple
weeks later.

Speaker 6 (16:17):
Place we used to live years ago. Left the garage
open one night. My wife's car was unlocked in the garage.
And we came out and somebody had gotten into her car,
took two duffel bags out of the trunk.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
That had kids' clothes and snacks for sports practice and
nothing valuable at all.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Right.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Then we found the duffel bags behind the neighbor's garage.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
With the stuff missing?

Speaker 3 (16:41):
No.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
They dropped it.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
They ran out. Nothing here.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
They just tossed it.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Where are the guns?

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Right. Yeah. Well, we just had, yeah, just a couple
weeks ago, I came out to leave for work, and
both mine and Nora's car doors were open, and the
glove compartment was open.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
We had nothing in our cars.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Oh, thank goodness.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
But, yeah, they definitely ruffled through. A-holes.

Speaker 8 (17:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Story number two.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
We have talked many, many, many, many times about AI
and the advancements AI has made. But we've also shared
many stories with the line that we're not quite there yet.
AI can do a lot of things. It can't do everything.
And we're so not there yet. AI can't even handle
some simple tasks because there is a video floating around.

(17:28):
It doesn't say where this story comes from, but a
man has tried to ask his AI to help him
out with something.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
AI failed miserably.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Take a listen. Oh, you don't have the.
The horn? No.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Oh, grab the horn.

Speaker 6 (17:44):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
I thought I asked you to grab that. All right.
We'll wait for it to load up the audio here.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Sorry, man.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Yeah, no.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
It's cool. Okay, here we go.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Kelly, tell a joke.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
I got it.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (17:55):
There's a car driving at me, but my horn's not working.
Can you just make a honk noise?

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Honk, honk, honk.

Speaker 8 (18:03):
Don't just say honk. Make a car honk. No, just
make a honk noise at them.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Honk. Not a clown horn.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
What was that noise?

Speaker 1 (18:17):
A quick horn blast.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
No, it wasn't. It's your car honk. They're coming right
at me.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
AI does not know what a car horn sounds like.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Not quite there.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
That's how you do it. That would be good. Oh,
if AI came out with that one.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
Gary Busey.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Is it the Tesla where you can reprogram your car horn? Yes,
it is. Oh, I want that. I may go trade
in my car and buy a Tesla just for that
one feature. I want that. So bad now. That is

(19:02):
on my Christmas wish list. That's your Not So Breaking
News 997 of the Blitz. Well, if you've got nothing
going on this weekend and you're going to be sitting around.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
The house, you might need something to watch.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
And it was a few weeks ago that I ran
down a list of movies available on Tubi, which if
you don't know, if you've got any sort of like
Fire Stick or Roku, Tubi is one of the apps.
And Tubi is basically the land of misfit toys. It's
all the direct-to-video... B-rated type stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
It's like shopping at TJ Maxx. You gotta hunt, but
you can find something every now and again.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Exactly. So I found a guy on TikTok and he's
a huge Tubi fan. In fact, he has basically made
it his life mission to watch all the movies on Tubi.
And he has been nice enough to kind of share
his thoughts on the movie. So this will give you
an idea of something you might be able to watch

(20:07):
this weekend if you want to.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Now, Kelly, I'm going to play a little game with you, okay?

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Okay. I'm going to play you a clip, and it's
him naming the movie.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
All right.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
And then we're going to stop.

Speaker 7 (20:14):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
And then I want you to give your guess as
to what his movie review is on whether or not
he liked the movie or not.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (20:24):
All right.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
So the first movie he watched on Tubi was.

Speaker 11 (20:27):
Are These Horrible Movies Worth Watching? Bad CGI Gator.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Bad CGI Gator. It's right there in the name.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Bad CGI Gator is the name of the movie.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
I think he gave it two thumbs down. I think
that he can hardly tolerate this one.

Speaker 6 (20:41):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (20:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (20:45):
That was his reveal.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
It was a bad one.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
No, no.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Watch it. These are whether you should watch it.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Oh, this is a yeah or a nah.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (20:51):
Yay or nah.

Speaker 8 (20:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
This is should you watch it. Okay. Gotcha. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Watch it.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (20:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
All right.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Next movie.

Speaker 11 (20:58):
Noah's Shark.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Noah's Shark.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
That's a yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
You think it's a yeah?

Speaker 5 (21:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
Okay.

Speaker 11 (21:04):
No, this movie's ass.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
I have to do the opposite of what I think.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
What's your initial think is?

Speaker 2 (21:11):
What my initial thought is.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Next movie.

Speaker 11 (21:14):
Shark Exorcist.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Shark Exorcist.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
I want to say yes so bad. I can't not
say yes. Yes, watch it.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Sure. Why not?

Speaker 3 (21:25):
You know, it's a good review.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
It's like, yeah, sure. Why not? All right.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
What's the next Tubi movie?

Speaker 11 (21:30):
Zombievers.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Zombievers? Zombievers. Yeah, Zombievers.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
That's a no for me.

Speaker 11 (21:38):
Absolutely. This movie rocks.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
I think that might be on our list for this weekend.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Because Nora and I have a very slow weekend planned. Yeah.
Because we're gearing up. We're a week away from the wedding.
We've got nothing left.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
We've got to relax.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
We've got to relax. So I said, we're popping a
bunch of gummies and watching movies this weekend. So Zombievers
might be on the list. Yeah. What's next? The Velocipastor. Yes.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
I've heard of that one. That's 100% yes.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Yes.

Speaker 11 (22:03):
It's probably the greatest bad movie of all time.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Now, I have seen Velocipastor.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Oh, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
A 100%.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
You've got to watch it.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
100%.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
When the pastor.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Takes on the ninjas at the end of the movie
in what is a dinosaur costume 100% purchased from Spirit Halloween,
you know it's a good movie.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
All right. Next movie.

Speaker 11 (22:28):
Ouija Shark.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Ouija Shark.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Ouija Shark.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Gosh, I want to say yes.

Speaker 11 (22:33):
Unequivocally a yes.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Gotta watch Ouija Shark. Next movie. Cracoon. Cracoon.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Cracoon.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
This is like Cocaine Bear, but it's a cracked out raccoon.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Cracoon, yes. Cracoon.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
I'm going to say no on that one.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Absolutely.

Speaker 11 (22:48):
It's one of the funniest movies I think I've ever
watched in my life.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
This is what got me.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
When I saw this video, I'm like, we're watching Krakoon
this weekend 100%. Now I want to watch it. Yeah,
we're definitely watching it this weekend. All right, what's next?

Speaker 11 (23:02):
House Shark.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
House? House Shark.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
No, that's a no.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
That's a no?

Speaker 11 (23:07):
The shark has a gun, so yes.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
I mean, come on.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
You got to.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
The shark has a gun. All right, what's next? Birdemic. Birdemic. Birdemic, yes. No.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
No.

Speaker 8 (23:23):
No.

Speaker 11 (23:23):
Technically, no, but technically, yes, for how bad the clipart
birds are.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Clipart? Clipart.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
From what I understand, the birds don't even flap their wings.
They just kind of like.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
And they're flying around with a watermark over them?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yes, they're just kind of moving through the air with
no wing flappage. What's the next one?

Speaker 11 (23:42):
Attack of the Killer Donuts.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yes, 100% yes.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Attack of the Killer Donuts.

Speaker 11 (23:47):
No, this movie is poop from a butt.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
The only two she said no, or said yes to,
he said no. Poop from the butt, not good.

Speaker 11 (23:56):
Sharkula.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Sharkula.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah, why not?

Speaker 11 (24:01):
Technically no, but also yes because it has a bat shark.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
A bat shark.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Bat shark. A bat shark sounds like something that Adam
West would pull out of his utility belt in the
1966 Batman movie. I mean, he did have bat shark
repellent in that movie where he sprayed the shark that
was on his leg and the shark let go. Oh,
my gosh.

Speaker 11 (24:23):
The Pickleball Exorcist.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
The Pickleball Exorcist.

Speaker 6 (24:27):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
I feel like that's a yes.

Speaker 11 (24:30):
This one is very, very, very unfortunately... A yes.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Is that the last one? No, one more. One more?

Speaker 3 (24:37):
All right, what's the last one?

Speaker 11 (24:39):
And Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
I saw Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, and it was excellent.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
So when I.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
First heard this, I said, now they have to release
a sequel. You've got to have Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
team up with Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, and they have
to go after Dracula, the biggest vampire of them all.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
I say yes.

Speaker 7 (25:02):
That would be great.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
That would be amazing.

Speaker 11 (25:04):
This one is the definition of a yes.

Speaker 7 (25:08):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Yes. I think, I think Krakoon and Jesus Christ Vampire
Hunter are going to be the two movies we watch
this weekend. Okay.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
I want to see Krakoon now. That's only on Tubi.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
I'm just wondering, cause I only take like 10 MGs
to sleep or if like we're sitting on the couch.
I don't know how I would react to like 30 MGs,
but with this movie. I might just have to. Oh,
30 mg.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
You're going to be drooling 10 minutes in.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
That's my problem.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
I'm a little worried about my tolerance. I don't know
what my tolerance is.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
You could always smoke a couple bowls and then judge
where you're at and smoke another bowl.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
You know, you don't have to do gummies. You can
still just get high.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, that's true. I don't do that.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
You want a drink, Ellie?

Speaker 1 (25:52):
You need some? I think we still have some left. Oh, okay.
We'll pull out the six-footer, Kelly.

Speaker 6 (26:01):
What I wouldn't give to get high with Kelly Quinn
just one time. Just one time, please.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
I want her to smoke and then put on the
pants that she ordered yesterday that she showed us and
watch her walk around. Just high off record.

Speaker 8 (26:18):
Look at these pants!

Speaker 1 (26:20):
What did they do to these pants?

Speaker 2 (26:22):
I mean, Stone Cold Sober, those pants were wild, weren't they?

Speaker 1 (26:26):
They were crazy. They were perfectly fine, wide-leg pants that
people purchased, but they were just measured. Like, they were
tapered at the top instead of the bottom.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
It was so.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
The weirdest cut of a jean that could have fit
two of me in there. Although the waist did fit.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Right. The top foot were a size small.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
The rest was a size large.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I said they sold it in small, medium, and large.
And Thick goes, that's what you got. Starts at small,
goes medium.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
All the way to large. You went small-sh, medium, large-sh, medium.
It was so weird.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
And now, the three things you need to know before
you go.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
Well, everyone else is talking about it, so we might
as well here. You'll see something new at Ohio Stadium
when the Buckeyes start the season a week from tomorrow.
New on-field suites are located in front of the south stands.
Each of the new suites can hold 12 people, and
they cost $ 143, 000 a season. There are also 400 chairback
seats installed above those suites, and they are already sold

(27:28):
out at a cost of $ 6, 000 a year. Now, I
can't think of a worse way to actually watch a
game than an on-field suite in an end zone.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah, it's behind the end zone.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Like, sure.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Are you just there to party because you're not there
to watch a game?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Well, I mean, two quarters, you're going to get players
coming right at you. So if they throw this nice little,
you know, corner pass into the end zone, you're going
to be right there for it. But other than that,
when the play's on the other side of the field,
you're watching the Jumbotron.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
They have these in Dallas at AT & T Stadium,
but they go all the way around. So you could
be on the 50-yard line.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Yeah, no, I don't mind that.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
And when we went on the tour, I'm standing there going,
this would be amazing.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, that'd be great.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Okay, now, I haven't completely looked into this, but they
look kind of ratchety.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Well, I don't think they're complete yet.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Oh, is that it?

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Yeah, the picture I saw yesterday, basically right now they
look like hot boxes. They just like. They're just framed.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
It's like somebody pulled up to the back of their trailer,
backed it up, and then you're going to be sitting
in there.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
I'm sure they're going to deck them out.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
I'm just curious. I'm just curious about how this will
all work out. I'm sure it's going to be beautiful.
You're going to get your money's worth. It'll be worth
it in luxury.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
I'm absolutely positive about it. It'll be cool to be
on the field, but these are This is kind of
to show off.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
You're on the field.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
I got a cool suite on the field.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Because once in Dallas, you go up on top and
sit in a seat on top of the box.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
But even then, you're still not seeing the other end
of the field.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
No, but you're up higher.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
We sat for some years in a section that was
basically in the end zone by the block O seats.
And they're decent seats. You can see, but you're also up.
We were in A deck. So we're up a bit.
And you could see, but I still found myself watching
the Jumbotron most of the time.

Speaker 10 (29:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
No, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
If you're not between the 40 and the 40, like
on the club level or second level, in the first
row of the second level against the Bayonets. there, between
the 40 and the 40, I'd rather watch it at home.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
I hear you.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Maybe people buying these have their kids are the cheerleaders,
because that's what you're really going to get a good
view of.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
A lot of cheerleaders, yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Yeah, which is, that'd be fine. I don't know you
felt that way about the male cheerleaders. They are very good.

Speaker 7 (30:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
H-O.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
What? You're spelling it wrong, but okay.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
No, I'm not. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (30:16):
All right.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
The State Department says 90 Americans are missing after flash
flooding in Nepal.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
A U.S.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Official confirmed that three American citizens were safely rescued and
there are no reports of American deaths so far. The
death toll does continue to climb with at least 469
bodies recovered. And nearly a thousand people still missing. Jerry
Sandusky will be back in court next month. One of
his accusers is expected to recant his testimony against the

(30:42):
former Penn State assistant football coach who was convicted of
sexually abusing boys for more than a decade. A judge
has scheduled a hearing for September 8th. Sandusky is now
82 years old. He has been serving a decades-long prison
sentence after being convicted in 2012 of abusing boys. And
an accuser known as Victim 10 is now prepared to

(31:05):
tell the court and has signed a sworn affidavit that
Sandusky did not abuse him. Victim number 10 says that
prosecutors coached him in order to steer his testimony. He
says they told him that the trauma probably impacted his memory.
So it's okay to agree with certain details, even though

(31:28):
you don't remember them. Oh, that's what now. And he's
now an adult in his twenties. But he says, they
said it's, it's very common for sexual abuse victims to
not remember. So this is likely what happened. I've heard PTSD.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Things like the trauma that can, you can repress memories
and things like that. It's unfortunate. It's weird. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
And then a little piece of this is that his
estranged wife now, he's in his 20, maybe 24.

Speaker 10 (31:59):
Right.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
His estranged wife is the one who sort of brought
him through it and said, I don't think you were abused.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
And he kind of agreed with it and went back
and said he was going to testify. So this is interesting.
Those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
All right. Man. Can you pull up my little time
travel sound? Please, because I want to take a quick
trip back to, was it yesterday? Yeah, yesterday morning. Or no. Yeah,
yesterday morning I was telling you about Wednesday. Because on Wednesday,

(32:35):
let's take a little trip back in time. Wednesday I
told you how when I got home, we had a
tea time that Nora and I were going to go play.
But when I walked in, she was finishing up her
meeting and I found a chewed up something on the
floor from Birdie, our year and a half old dog.
And it turns out it was some sort of nasal
spray medicine, which upon looking up is extremely dangerous to dogs.

(33:01):
And I made the executive decision not to run Birdie
to the emergency vet ER because I don't have $ 2, 500
sitting around right now to do that.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
And she was acting fine.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
And she was acting fine.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
And so we made the executive decision to just go
golf and We came home to something terrible. We came
home to something terrible. I said, what am I going
to do? Well, apparently, the gods of the Rainbow Bridge, St. Bernardus, Labradorcus,
and Huskerion, they saw what happened and me not properly

(33:40):
taking care or watching out for my dog. And so
they all got together and said, okay, fine. So yesterday...
Nora had some errands to run and the 17 year
old is getting ready. When we come back, we're a
week away from the wedding. The following week, I'm taking
him to the DMV to get his permit. So I've

(34:01):
been taking him out driving a little bit in the
school parking lot. He's practicing parking in the spaces and
backing up and all that kind of stuff. And so
Nora said, you take my car, take him driving, get
some dinner. I'm going to take the younger one to
run some errands and we'll get some dinner and then
we'll meet back up. Whatever. Fine. So we go driving,

(34:21):
no problem. Buddy, what do you want for dinner? He goes,
Chipotle sounds great. I say, cool, Chipotle sounds great to me.
So we go to Chipotle, we get our burritos, and
we're leaving Chipotle. I check Nora's location, and it looks,
she's driving home, it looks like we're going to T-bone
each other right on Hilliard Rome and Roberts Road. We're
going to meet up right there. And then my phone rings.
As I'm looking at her location, my phone rings, and

(34:43):
it's her. It's Nora. And she goes, hey. Where are you?
I said, I'm coming up Hilliard, Rome. Looks like we're
going to merge right together. And she goes, yeah, no,
I'm about half a mile down the road here. Your
car just started powering down. Like I'm stepping on the gas.
So I pulled over in a parking lot. I said,

(35:04):
all right, I'll be right there. We were two minutes away.
I go, I'm either in the parking lot. Try and
start the car. no no no check engine light no
lights it would just wouldn't turn over it would start
and then it would just die like it would putter
and it would die so thankfully i've got um coverage

(35:25):
through my uh bank through my credit union they provide
free road service so i can just call up and
get a tow so i do that i fill out
the form i tell nora and the boys go home
there's no point to you to i'll have them tow
the car so i can drop it off and get
it repaired I said, give me my burrito. Give me
my drink. You guys go home while I wait. So

(35:46):
sure enough, I get the update. Tow truck's on the way. Great.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
I'm doom scrolling on my phone, watching TikTok, eating my Chipotle.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Don't eat Chipotle if you're not close to a bathroom
within the next 45 minutes or so. Because I'm sitting
in my car and all of a sudden it hits.
I have finished my burrito. We're now 15 minutes post
burrito time. waiting for the tow truck, and I'm just like, oh, no.

(36:16):
I start sweating. And then, you know, once the tow
truck gets there, they still have to hook it up.
They've got to take the pictures. That takes moments. Then
you've got to follow them over. So I call Nora,
and I'm like, they're here. You got to come pick
me up so we can follow them to drop the
car off. And I'm in Nora's car just sweating away.
And I know St. Bernardus, Labradukas, and Huskerion are all

(36:39):
watching me laughing their ass off right now. I run
into the Firestone before my car is unloaded. I don't
say anything to anyone. And unfortunately, this happened to be
the worst Firestone bathroom in the history of Firestone bathrooms.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
Was there a hole in the ground? Because you'll take
it at that point.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
It was close.

Speaker 8 (36:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
It was close. And let me, I don't know what
is going on internally, but. You crap a lot.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
I think you've had a particularly distressful gastric week.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
It has. I now know what the villagers of Pompeii
felt like as Mount Vesuvius was just raining hell upon them.
It was so angry.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
Did you see how I combined distressing and stressful to distressful?

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Yes, distressful.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
That explains it, though.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Doesn't it? There's so much going on.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
So were you, did everything, are you, you still have
underwear intact?

Speaker 3 (37:38):
I do.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Oh, yeah. No, everything is fine. But I pulled up
five minutes before they're closing. Oh, no. I mean, the
man is counting the cash out of the cash register
as I'm trying to check my car in.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
And you're like, I might need more than five minutes. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
So now my car is sitting there.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
The tow truck driver, who was a mechanic for like
40 years, goes, sounds like the gas pump. So it is?

Speaker 4 (38:02):
Fuel pump. Fuel pump.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Sounds like a fuel pump.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
Yeah, it could be.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
So a little Googlage, the $ 2, 500 I saved by not
taking Birdie to the vet. Oh, wow. A little Googlage through, uh, well, no,
it's not that much, but it's enough.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
Yeah. It's a final destination situation with your wallet.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
It's enough that I don't have because I've paid for
everything for the wedding.

Speaker 7 (38:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
It's enough where I'm like, how do you feel about.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
Keeping this here till, uh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Till payday. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
It's enough where I'm ready to call JG Wentworth.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
It's my money and I want it now. I need something.

Speaker 6 (38:43):
Oh, God.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Just.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Just.

Speaker 4 (38:47):
Like you cheated the money reaper or something?

Speaker 1 (38:50):
No, I cheated the gods of the Rainbow Bridge. I
cheated the dog gods for not properly taking care of
my dog, and they came down upon me, and they're like, fine,
we'll just get the money elsewhere.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
We'll hit you where it really hurts.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
You don't care about your dog? We'll hit you.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
Right in your automobiles. Right in your chargers. We're going
to kick you right in your chargers.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
Yep. So now I've got to wait for the phone
call this morning once they.

Speaker 4 (39:11):
With the number.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
Once they take a look.

Speaker 6 (39:14):
They're going to say all this stuff up front. You're
just like, just give me the number.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Yeah, right. Exactly. Just do it.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Give me a big time, Mom. Tell them you're on
the radio and you're getting married. And it's just to
be a really nice gift.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Someone get the ceo fire start on the line yeah
too sweet so i shared with you uh taking the
17 year old to practice driving before he takes his
uh test for his permit and begins that whole thing
and yesterday he was talking about you know i think
when i get a car I want to get one because,
you know, obviously my charger has got, like, the touchscreen.

(39:49):
Like most cars nowadays, the bigger screen and things like that.
No CD player in my car whatsoever. Like a lot
of cars nowadays, it's all Bluetooth, plug-in, things like that.
I think I want a car with a CD player
so I can burn my own CDs and put music
on it.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
I'm just like, okay.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Now, granted, I told them, I was like, you know,
cool and all, don't get me wrong, that's what we
grew up on, but... You get 13, 14 songs on
a CD, and then you've got to change CDs as
opposed to Bluetooth. You can have every song you ever
want right there on your phone. But there's something about
CDs with the young'uns now. They have seen a huge...
They saw a 16% increase in CD sales just in

(40:27):
the first half of 2026.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
That is unbelievable. What are we listening... I mean, I've
got a CD player in my car. That's how old
my car is.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
If I didn't have that car, I would have no
way to listen to a CD.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
But there's also a reason behind it as they did
the math. Because if you remember, it was about 10
years ago or so, vinyl really exploded again. People were
going to record stores again. They wanted old school vinyl.

Speaker 7 (40:52):
I get that.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
That's supposedly the most superior way to listen to music.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
And I agree.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
It is.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
However, here's the problem. Vinyl re-exploded so much. And material-wise,
it's expensive to make. That vinyl prices have shot through
the roof. So now younger generations are now getting CDs
instead of vinyl because they still want the physical album,
but they can't afford the vinyl because it got too

(41:19):
popular because of them. So now they have to switch
to CDs.

Speaker 6 (41:23):
So what we've done, we've gone all the way back
in time to vinyl and progressed.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Now we're back up to CDs.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
CDs, yes.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Did we skip cassettes?

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Cassettes are seeing an uptick, too. But that's more of
a nostalgic thing than the CD.

Speaker 4 (41:36):
There's nothing good about a cassette anymore.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
Yeah, I agree. We had a.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Couple of 8-tracks, just two. My dad had an 8-track
player when I was a kid. We had only two 8-tracks,
and I listened to those things all the time.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Yeah, it's almost kind of like, you know, having difficulties
based on your own success. Like you said, it got
so popular that vinyls just became too expensive, so now
you're looking at the younger generation getting CDs, so... If
your teenagers and such start asking for CDs, they're not alone.

Speaker 4 (42:07):
Where would he burn CDs? I mean, my computers don't
even come with CD-ROMs anymore.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
And I told him that. He asked if we had
a way to burn CDs, and I was like, no,
you don't have CD-ROMs on computers anymore.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
You can make a playlist on Spotify.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
Right, exactly.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
But where are you burning CDs?

Speaker 1 (42:22):
I mean, I still have a computer that will. Oh,
do you really?

Speaker 4 (42:24):
Yeah, it's an older computer, but it'll still burn CDs.
But I don't see them anymore.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
Well, there's Adam's hookup right there.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
That's it. Yep. We're going to have to come over.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Was it Adam?

Speaker 1 (42:34):
No, it was Brent.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
It was the older one.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yeah, we'll have to have him come visit. Jesus. Rent.
Charge him rent. It's like if you go to an
internet cafe. You've got to pay per minute. Right. So
you just charge him a little bit. He'd be good
to go. I saw this list of questions online. And they're,

(42:58):
I mean, I guess... Dark could be used to describe
what they are. But it's a very simple question. Would
you want to know?

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
800-821-9970. I need someone to join our scientific blitz panel.
You're going to join in on the survey. And basically,
it'll be a yes or no type question or yes
or no type answer. I'll ask you the question. And
then you'll join the survey in would you want to
know or not. Okay.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Because, Kelly, I think a lot of these you're probably
going to be a no on.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (43:34):
I think. I don't know. Some of you.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
Might be a yes.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
I'm kind of nosy. I like to know a lot
of stuff.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
True. But a lot of these questions are about you personally. Oh.
That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
Will it hurt my feelings?

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Some of these could.

Speaker 6 (43:50):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
Some of these could. It's it's literally information that you
would never know unless someone like stepped up and told you. Right.
I need to know this information. So let's get like
three people on our panel here.

Speaker 3 (44:06):
Thick Blitz.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Hi, who's this? Donnie.

Speaker 8 (44:10):
Donnie.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
All right, Donnie. Hang on one second. You're on our panel. Blitz. Hi,
who's this? Jesse. Jesse.

Speaker 3 (44:16):
All right, Jesse.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
Hang on one second. Let's get one more member of
our panel here. Blitz. Hi, who's this?

Speaker 6 (44:21):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (44:23):
Okay, bye. Never mind. We'll go with two people on
our panel. That's fine. Donnie and Jesse, you'll be on
our panel with myself, Kelly, and Thicke. First question. Would
you want to know how you're going to die, Kelly?

Speaker 2 (44:38):
Absolutely, yes.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
I want to know that.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
How you're going to die.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Yes. Okay, Thicke.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
I think so. I think so, yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:47):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (44:48):
I think.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Donnie, would you want to know how you're going to die?
Absolutely not. No.

Speaker 4 (44:55):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
What about you, Jesse? I'm very strongly with Kelly. Okay.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
Absolutely, yes.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
How I'm going to die, I'm going to go no.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
If I knew, then I'd know if I want to know.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Right, yes.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
That's the problem with that.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Okay. Here's another one, and a lot of people have
asked this question before.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
When you're going to die, the date you're going to die, Kelly.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
I'd rather know that than the manner. Yes, a hard yes.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
Hard yes.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
I want to know when and how.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
Okay. Both. Now, but what if you know the date
you're going to die, right? Right.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
And like a year beforehand, you get cancer.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Are you going to think, oh, this is how I
live for the next year. I'm going to die of cancer.
Not knowing, maybe, maybe you go into remission. And then
you get hit by a car.

Speaker 6 (45:42):
No, no, no. If you're going to give me the date,
it's got to be the date, no matter how it's
going to happen.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
No, I understand that.

Speaker 1 (45:47):
But on Get Cancer, you might assume this is what's
going to kill me.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
Oh, yeah, I see.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
But you get cancer a year or two years before
the date of your death.

Speaker 6 (45:56):
But if that happens, I'm not going to go through treatment.
I'm going to assume that's what's going to kill me,
and I'm just going to live as great as I
can until that date comes up.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
Okay, you're taking that chance because you might go into remission. Yeah,
but I'm still going to die on that date.

Speaker 2 (46:10):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 3 (46:13):
But you don't know the date.

Speaker 4 (46:15):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
You know the date, but what if you've got three
years and then the cancer, well, you would know when
the date.

Speaker 4 (46:22):
See, I know the date. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (46:24):
If I know that date when I get cancer and
it's a year, year and a half from now, well,
I'm not going to fight it.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
I'm just going to live.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
That means cancer can't take you early. You're just going
to live for the three years of cancer. Okay, that
kind of makes sense. Donnie, what do you think? The
date you're going to die? I'm a hard no. I
don't want to know. I don't want to wrap myself
in bubble wrap. Okay, yeah. Jesse, what do you think?
I absolutely want to know. Okay.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
I don't want to know the date either.

Speaker 4 (46:50):
But you don't have to wrap yourself in bubble wrap.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
You know you're going to die on this date.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
You can even take more chances.

Speaker 1 (46:56):
Right. I can do anything I want.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
All right.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Would you want to know who secretly hates you, Kelly? Yes.

Speaker 3 (47:03):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
I do want to know that.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Okay. Dick, you want to know who secretly hates you?

Speaker 4 (47:08):
I already know it's Kelly. All right. Man, these are tough.

Speaker 9 (47:13):
I know.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
No, I don't need that.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
That information does nothing for me.

Speaker 4 (47:17):
I don't need that.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
Donnie, you want to know who secretly hates you?

Speaker 7 (47:21):
I don't think it does me any good, no.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
All right, Jesse, you want to know who secretly hates you? Well, yes,
I do.

Speaker 4 (47:28):
Jesse and Kelly got it right in line.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
I think I might just because if someone's out there
faking it and I'm wasting time on them.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
That's the one thing.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
I don't want to waste any more time on them.
Let's see.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Why are you wasting time with me if you secretly
hate me? Right. Yeah. Do you want to know, going
along the lines, what your coworkers actually think about you, Kelly?

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Yes. I want to know all of this.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Okay. Nick?

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Especially if it's the people who like to flatter you,
but you know down below the surface. they might have
differing opinions than what they're expressing. I don't give it
that much thought because whatever, but I would like to know.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
I don't want mine exposed, but I want everybody else.

Speaker 4 (48:17):
We're talking about everybody in the building. Yep.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (48:20):
Yeah, sure. Why not?

Speaker 1 (48:21):
Okay. Donnie, you want to know?

Speaker 4 (48:23):
I'm still coming to work.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
Do you want to know if your coworkers, what your
coworkers actually think about you? I do. I do.

Speaker 3 (48:29):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (48:29):
Jesse, you want to know? Yep, they say knowledge is power,
so give it all.

Speaker 3 (48:34):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
Jesse wants to know everything. Oh, man, I'm torn. Because
I think I hold a little hate in my heart,
and if I know you don't like me, I'm going
to be mean back to you, and I don't want
to be that type of person.

Speaker 2 (48:47):
Who doesn't like you, though? I can't think of anybody.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Oh, yeah, there are lots of people. In this building?

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Oh, in this building?

Speaker 1 (48:52):
I don't know. You said everybody at work. You said coworkers.

Speaker 6 (48:54):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Nobody hates you.

Speaker 4 (48:56):
Nobody in this building hates you.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
I promise you that.

Speaker 10 (48:58):
All right.

Speaker 1 (48:59):
We've asked. We've asked. We checked in. We took a poll.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Yeah, we checked in to make sure.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Would you want to know what your life would look
like today if you married an ex?

Speaker 2 (49:13):
No, I don't want to know that. I know I'm
right where I should be, so I don't want to
follow any path at all. No alternative path. I don't
need to know that.

Speaker 4 (49:21):
I already know the hell it would be. No, thanks.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (49:25):
Donnie, you want to know what your life would be
like if you married an ex? Hell no. Jesse?

Speaker 5 (49:32):
You know what?

Speaker 6 (49:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (49:33):
I mean, it would be interesting to see how things
played out.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
I wouldn't change it, but let's find out. Okay. All right.
I'm with you, Kelly. Now that I'm a week away
from the wedding and I know I'm marrying who I'm
supposed to be marrying, I don't care about what the
other ones want.

Speaker 4 (49:46):
Not necessary.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
All right, last one.

Speaker 1 (49:48):
Would you want to know how much everyone you know
actually makes?

Speaker 2 (49:53):
Yes. I told you I am nosy. I want to
know that.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
All right.

Speaker 4 (49:58):
Without a doubt. Without a doubt.

Speaker 1 (50:01):
100%. Donnie, you want to know what everyone you know
actually makes? I'm nosy, too, so yeah, I got you. Okay. Jesse,
do you want to know?

Speaker 2 (50:10):
You know what?

Speaker 10 (50:10):
I'm going all in on the yes.

Speaker 4 (50:12):
I was going to say, he can't say no to that, right?

Speaker 1 (50:14):
See, I wouldn't. Really? Except for one person. I just
want to know what my brother's actual value is. Oh,
my gosh. Okay. I'm just so curious.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
I know what the internet says.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
To know what that number is.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Outside of my own husband, I've only ever shared my
salary with one human being in this world, and that
is Thick Rick.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
There's a weird thing that people have talked about, how
it was always hush-hush not to talk about money. But
then sometimes, as employees, you should because you've got bargaining
power against the bigwigs. But at the same time, you
might not. You might get upset that this person's making
more than you when you do more work or whatever
the case may be.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
That's a weird thin line.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Yeah, Fink and I had a situation here where we
all– you know full knowledge with full knowledge of management
knew what was going on and what was happening right we.

Speaker 10 (51:06):
All we both know each other right right i the
thing the thing you can join our club yeah the
thing that got me was back during covid when uh
because i've shared before my brother's a broadway producer one
of his shows is hamilton he brought hamilton to broadway
and then they signed a deal with disney plus and
during covid they put hamilton the recorded That's.

Speaker 1 (51:29):
The first time I saw it on Disney +.

Speaker 3 (51:31):
And they announced the dollar amount.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
When they wrote the article about it, they said how
much Disney paid for the rights for Hamilton to be
on Disney +. And I remember talking to my brother
about it. And he goes, yeah, they got that completely wrong.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
Okay, but did they get it.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
Wrong by shorting it or by two months? I want
to know which direction. Because it was a big number.
So is it bigger or smaller?

Speaker 3 (51:56):
I want to know.

Speaker 1 (51:57):
Anyways, Donnie, Jesse, thank you so much for joining our
little panel. And it looks like, Jesse, if Kelly ever
does get divorced, you guys are lined up. You guys
got the same.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Values and standards and thought processes.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
You guys have yourself a great weekend. We'll talk to
you later. It's 99.7 The Blitz.

Speaker 5 (52:17):
The three things you need to know before you go.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Two kids are accused of bringing a gun onto school
property in Whitehall. Police responded to Beachwood Elementary at about 12.30
yesterday afternoon after getting a report of the juveniles with
the firearm outside while students were on recess. A 14-year-old
and younger brother, or younger sibling rather, reportedly ran from
the school and were found at a nearby home after

(52:42):
officers got a search warrant. The gun was also recovered.
Juveniles facing counts including inducing panic and receiving stolen property.
Netflix is releasing nearly half an hour of the upcoming
Grand Theft Auto 6. The long-awaited latest edition of the
game comes out in November, but Netflix has released 27
minutes of in-game content in collaboration with Rockstar Games. The
game in its entirety will be released for Xbox and

(53:04):
PlayStation 5 on November 19th. Well, Twitter is up and
running again. Operation Bluebird, whose founders include ex-Twitter trademark counsel
Stephen Coates, has officially launched Twitter.Now. a social media network
that uses both X's original name and familiar bird logo.

(53:25):
Coats says Twitter.now is not an attempt to recreate the
old platform. They are building a different service, which is
social media, but they're going to be using an AI
system called Vera, V-E-R-A, which will check post claims and
show users the source to the claims. It will also
prohibit certain content like child exploitation and scams, but they

(53:45):
say there will be freedom of expression there. If you
want an early look, you've got to pay $ 20.

Speaker 4 (53:51):
Hard pass.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
I'm not paying $ 20. You can pay more if you
want certain perks, like an early shot at getting the
handle of your choice.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Do we need another social media site?

Speaker 2 (54:02):
No, we don't. I don't think so. I don't think so.
But people really, really hate Elon Musk and X, so
it may be an opportunity, I guess.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
The only thing I like is if they're going to attach...
an AI search or a Google search to the information
that you're claiming. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (54:19):
Great.

Speaker 1 (54:21):
Perfect. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (54:22):
Cause that's the one thing I don't get.

Speaker 1 (54:25):
I'm sick of social media for is.

Speaker 3 (54:30):
All the BS.

Speaker 1 (54:31):
So if you want to, you want to make a claim, fine.
Where's that information coming from? And if they're going to
do it automatically for you, perfect.

Speaker 11 (54:38):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (54:38):
I'm just surprised he didn't keep possession of the name.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Well, that's the funny thing is that, uh, Elon Musk, uh,
did sue Operation Bluebird last year, asked the court to
bar the launch of the platform. However, X did let
go of trademarks like Twitter and Tweet.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
They don't have trademarks on it anymore.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
You're going to let it go. That's your fault.

Speaker 4 (54:57):
I can't believe he let it go.

Speaker 6 (54:58):
I was shocked he ever changed it. You have this
name that's known all over the world, and he just
changed it.

Speaker 4 (55:03):
I was like, that's weird.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
All right. Those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (55:09):
You hear a good laugh, it's going to make you laugh.
That's the best part. Anytime you did stand up, you
get that one person in the audience. I've had it
a couple times where they got that cackle. It makes
your life so much easier because you tell a half
funny joke, the person cackles, and everyone else is laughing
at the person cackling. And I know for me, when

(55:31):
I really get going, I've got a cackle. I've got
a hyena laugh. It's just the truth of the matter.
But nothing compared to some of these people. Someone jumped
online and made a compilation of people laughing on the Internet.
And these are all the Internet's greatest laughs. Now, the
first one, I have heard this woman before. She has
gotten millions of views on her laugh. Sounds like a

(56:00):
baby crying. Oh, it wasn't. No. Oh, I was waiting
for the laugh. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (56:07):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 4 (56:07):
That's the one where you're laughing so hard you can't
get a breath.

Speaker 3 (56:10):
You can't get a breath in. It's just coming out.

Speaker 1 (56:12):
Right. Yeah. That is full force coming out of her lungs,
and she cannot breathe in. The next one. Take a listen.

Speaker 2 (56:21):
Dang, something came out, I think.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
That's what it sounds like.

Speaker 1 (56:29):
This person sounds like they smoked a full pack of
non-filter Paul Mauls and then heard a joke.

Speaker 3 (56:35):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 8 (56:37):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 4 (56:38):
That was phlegmy.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
Phlegmy. That sounds like it hurts afterwards. Yeah. That was
another great laugh. Oh, I love a wheeze.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
I love a good wheeze.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
A good wheeze.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Yeah. That sounds like you just turned on your garbage disposal.

Speaker 2 (57:00):
It's pretty wet.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
There's got to be a Florida woman, right?

Speaker 3 (57:08):
It kind of sounds like it.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
Another great laugh. Delicate laugh one more time. Hold on.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
I don't know what that is, man. But they're just
trying to give him a laugh and he's trying not to.
He said no.

Speaker 10 (57:27):
Delicate laugh one more time.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
I picture that as the laugh of some sort of
Pokemon character. Yeah. Yeah. What is that?

Speaker 3 (57:48):
Do we have another one?

Speaker 1 (57:49):
Oh, you've got several more. Oh, okay.

Speaker 4 (57:59):
Keep going.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
Wow. That sounds like the calling of a strange bird
you would hear in the Australian outback.

Speaker 10 (58:11):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (58:12):
I think by the fourth time I'm getting annoyed, though.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
You think so?

Speaker 2 (58:16):
Like three times I'm laughing, the fourth time I'm walking away.

Speaker 3 (58:21):
I can't take this anymore.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Oh my.

Speaker 9 (58:29):
Gosh.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
That sounds like you're trying to close like an old door,
but it's got a waddle to it.

Speaker 8 (58:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (58:46):
We got a couple more here.

Speaker 1 (58:47):
All right, keep going.

Speaker 8 (58:53):
What?

Speaker 4 (58:53):
A predator?

Speaker 3 (58:55):
That is someone's laugh.

Speaker 8 (58:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (58:57):
That is them trying to breathe in. Hit that one
more time.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
It sounds like a putt-putt, like golf ball, like circling
and then bouncing.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
In it's like yes yes it rattles around.

Speaker 5 (59:14):
The hole.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
Kind of or like maybe a roulette wheel that's kind.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Of yeah it's got the cheap uh divider as the
wheel goes around and it's slowing down There you go.

Speaker 8 (59:30):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
That is absolutely spinning.

Speaker 1 (59:31):
Like, you know what that is? That's the prize wheel
that every radio station took to the car remote when
you could win a koozie.

Speaker 10 (59:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
All right. Here we go. Oh, that's cute.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
That sounds like a baby.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
That started out like a witch and then switched to
a baby.

Speaker 6 (59:53):
That sounds like a really happy kid.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
That sounds like a happy kid. We got one more?

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
One more. All right.

Speaker 8 (01:00:04):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
What? That sounds like a clown horn. Like he's in
your face squeezing his little clown horn. Yeah. And they're
all laughing at the laugh.

Speaker 5 (01:00:22):
They're laughing at.

Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
The laugh, yeah. That sounds like you've got your.
Cling, cling on your left handlebar and your horn on
the right side of your handlebar on your bike.

Speaker 11 (01:00:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:00:37):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
What is happening physiologically in there to make that sound?

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
You're right. How do you go, I mean, to get
that laugh and then to back up a few where
you've got the wobbly door. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:00:54):
Well, that's not the wobbly door.

Speaker 8 (01:00:57):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
What is built into our DNA or our genetics that
we all have a different laugh? All you got to
do is jump online and just Google, like, best laugh compilation,
and you're going to get all of them in a row.
It's amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:01:25):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Oh, man. The stories, they just keep on coming. You know,
when you're looking for some food and you're discussing it
with your family, where should we go today? You know what?
I feel like some Steak and Shake. And when you
go to Steak and Shake, you're expecting to see some meat.

(01:01:56):
I mean... That's what you're going for.

Speaker 7 (01:01:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
And so it's just a matter of which meat you're
going to get because, well, let's take a trip down south. Yes,
we have ourselves a WTF. What the Florida? We head
down to Artivian Crummety. Artivian Crummety. Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:02:18):
I've never heard those sounds before.

Speaker 3 (01:02:21):
That's a name.

Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
Is that a town? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
No, it's a name. It's the name of a person.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Oh, okay. Artivian Crummety. Remedy.

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
Anyways, he was an employee, a 25-year-old employee at this
particular location. And his job at that particular time was
to be the runner. Because, you know, when you pull
up to some of these places now that make your
food fresh, you are going to then pull forward and
you're going to sit there and wait. And then they're

(01:02:51):
going to bring you your food. Yes. And that is
exactly what Ardivian Crummety's job was. A car hop, if
you will. And so, sure enough, that's what he did.
He brought out said meat to said car. Unfortunately, he
brought extra meat with him. That is because he was
unzipped and unfrawled right there at the car window. Oh, boy. Yeah,

(01:03:14):
you're not you're not supposed to be having your manhood
hanging out through your zipper when that happens.

Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
The woman did call the police.

Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
Her story was then backed up by restaurant surveillance cameras. Oh, boy.
And he was charged with indecent exposure. This is not
the first time, however, because just last week, a customer
at a Chick-fil-A in Florida had.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
The same thing happened.

Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
So I don't know what's going on with fast food
employees and why they are just deciding to serve up extras.
Where is the meat?

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
It's hot down there.

Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
It is hot down there, which makes it worse.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
And they did ask for meat.

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
They did ask for meat.

Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
If I'm an attorney, I'll take that case.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
Yeah, but usually when you order your combo meal, you
get either french fries, onion rings, cheese curds. You don't
get summer long balls. You don't want the old double cheeseburger,
double summer long balls, and Diet Coke. That's a bad combo.
Keep your meat in your pants or on the tray. Well, actually,
don't put it on the tray.

Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
That'd be bad.

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Story number two takes us nationwide. I am a fan
of Panda Express.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Oh, we're about to get a new one right by us.

Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Really? Yeah. We have one right there on Hilliard-Rumroad, right
at the corner.

Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
This is at Melville.

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
Oh, you're off.

Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
Okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
You know, you give me some Asian food, I'm good
to go.

Speaker 1 (01:04:41):
And if I'm not going full-blown to a Chinese food restaurant,
I think Panda Express.

Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
Black pepper chicken?

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
Absolutely love it. Mushroom chicken? So good. Here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
I guess there have been some people that have stepped
up and said that Panda Express really isn't authentic Chinese food.
So much so... that the CEO of Panda Express has
now come forward. And this is what he had to say.

Speaker 6 (01:05:08):
I take no offense at all.

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
You know, I don't know what authenticity is. There's so
many cuisines out there. Whatever sells, I'll just make that decision. Exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
And, you know, most Chinese restaurants aren't really that authentic.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
No, it's American Chinese food.

Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
I mean, is there soy sauce on it? And it's Chinese.

Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Kind of. Yeah. Andrew Chang is the CEO of Panda Express.
And he comes out and he goes, look, the customers decide.
If it's good and they're buying it, what is the problem?
And not to mention, if you're going to put your
own spin on a dish... That's what's true.

Speaker 4 (01:05:55):
It's the same with authentic Mexican.

Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
A lot of places aren't that authentic. No, not at all.
So basically, I love that the CEO of the company...
came out to the people saying Panda Express isn't authentic
Chinese food and basically verbally gave them the middle finger.

Speaker 6 (01:06:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
And your point, so what?

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
He goes, we'll let the customers decide. Are they buying it?
Are we making a profit? Right.

Speaker 3 (01:06:19):
Here's one. I care what they think.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Here's another.

Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
Not what you think.

Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
So I say, good for you, sir.

Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
Well, we are one week away from a really cool event,
and that would be Zucchini Fest is going down at
Fortress Hobots. And we are here with a couple of
special guests, including the mayor.

Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
Angela Kirk, how are you?

Speaker 7 (01:06:40):
I'm fabulous. Thank you guys for having me. I really
appreciate you letting us come in.

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Absolutely. How cool is it to run a town that
has its own fortress?

Speaker 7 (01:06:50):
Hey, our fortress, like I was telling you guys earlier,
it is the best-kept secret in town. Check it out.
It's really a huge sports arena for our little kids,
our youth. I mean, they feel like they're in the NFL,
so maybe if they never get there, they'll be like, hey,
that one time I remember I ran that touchdown on
that big screen over there. So it's fabulous.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
I will say this. A couple weeks ago, I think
we were on our way to Dayton, actually, and one
of the roads we took off, I don't know what
kind of installation it is.

Speaker 3 (01:07:18):
It's definitely government.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
I think it's weather related because it has those big
white domes that I've seen before. But it's fenced off
and it's concrete and it's tall. And Nora and I
got in a full-blown conversation that when and if the
zombie apocalypse happens, that's going to be the first place.
But place number two would be Fortress OVETS. Because that
thing is tall, it's metal, made out of all those
shipping containers. You're going to be saying, you've got a

(01:07:39):
bar so we can just drink and let the zombie
apocalypse pass.

Speaker 7 (01:07:42):
We'll just lock ourselves in and call it a day.

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Hang on, guys.

Speaker 7 (01:07:45):
Buckle up. But I need to get a dome, you
know what I mean? So if anybody wants to contribute
a dome over top of the fortress, please contact me
at OVETS.com. I'm just saying, yeah, it's cool.

Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
Now we are a week away. Zucchini Fest, always an
amazing time.

Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
What's going on this year?

Speaker 7 (01:07:59):
Well, we've got concerts as usual. We've got our courtyard
there at the Fortress. We have music starting Friday night.
We've got a huge car show that's going to happen
Friday night. Registrations start at 4 o'clock. Boots is doing that.
He does all this stuff. So he's a great guy
and has been a good partner for us. All the
proceeds to this one is going to go to Honor Flight.
Honor Flight, they are a wonderful group of people that

(01:08:20):
take all of our veterans to Washington, D.C. on a plane.
It funds everything. There's a lady named Beth who runs that.
Check them out. Make a donation if you can. But
we have music starting there that evening. So 8 o'clock,
he'll start giving out the awards. But we're going to
roll until like 11 o'clock that night with... Willie Nelson,
Mandela will start off, and then we have Clubber Lang
after them. Clubber's great.

Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
They're great, man.

Speaker 7 (01:08:41):
Then it's going to be a whole evening of that,
and then 11 o'clock, and then we start back over Saturday.
We start up in the morning with music all day
in the courtyard. We have the biggest festival that is
not a fair. How about that?

Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:08:53):
All the big rides, all the little rides we have.
Our vendors are crazy, like the best. Everybody has to
have something made with zucchini.

Speaker 1 (01:08:59):
It's Thursday.

Speaker 7 (01:09:00):
To be something on your menu out of your food
truck or your trailer that has zucchini in it that
is the rule so we have a food guide um
you know we got a couple country concerts coming too
i know you know we're looking for some rock bands
every now and again so if you guys got some
connections with some really fabulous popular people let us know
we'll we'll hook that up too um we have north
of nashville which is a local guy you know their
band is fabulous they're really good partners with us um

(01:09:21):
they will be playing on the stage opening up for
um kip moore and easton corbin that's a pretty big
deal and then sunday we have uh Appalachian Outlaw, I
don't know if you guys have heard of them, but
they are a fabulous band, too. They actually will open
up for like a little 90s kickback. We're doing Lone
Star and Little Texas.

Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
Maybe I'm amazed.

Speaker 6 (01:09:40):
Oh, man.

Speaker 7 (01:09:41):
I went down and seen them. I was telling them.
And we went down and seen them in Sevierville when
they were doing the bourbon. you know, the music festival
down there. And I told the guys, I'm like, hey,
I was like, I'm here. I'm the mayor of Obetz.
I'm paying you guys to come up. And, you know,
in September, I'm just seeing if you're worth the money.
They said, oh, we are. But they were, they were fabulous.
They threw some stuff in there. Like they did some
rock songs, did a little medley. They did a little

(01:10:02):
Phil Collins, which I was like, what in the world
is happening right now? This is not, they were fabulous.
So if you think they're just going to come out
and sing their 10 number one hits, they're going to
throw some other stuff in there.

Speaker 11 (01:10:11):
They're great guys.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
So I've been in Colorado for... Colorado. Columbus for 18...
I spent many years in Colorado. I've been in Columbus
for 18 months now. And I've seen a lot of
festivals being in radio for a long time. Like you said,
many bourbon fests, many food truck festivals. I've been a
part of a testicle festival before. Why... That's pretty ballsy.
It is.

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Why zucchini?

Speaker 7 (01:10:36):
Well, zucchini, many, many years ago, about 39 or more,
it has been the most plentiful... thing that has been
grown because we were a huge agricultural area for a
long time. So I did not pick the zucchini, obviously,
because I would have picked something else, but it's okay.

Speaker 6 (01:10:53):
Eggplant.

Speaker 7 (01:10:54):
Come into town, but I don't even like eggplant. Nobody
likes eggplant on purpose. Jeez Louise, that's a horrible, bitter
piece of, I don't even know what that is.

Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
But, ugh.

Speaker 7 (01:11:02):
Yeah, so it just happened. I mean, we don't know.
It was just part of the agriculture. Probably because they
had the tomato festival. They had the pumpkin show. They're like, hey,
check this out. We can grow zucchini here. So that's
kind of how we roll with it. We don't really
know the whole reason why. We've had people go, please
change this from a zucchini festival. I'm like, we can't now.
We're too deep in, man.

Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
Why don't you say 40th anniversary coming up next year?

Speaker 7 (01:11:23):
Next year. We're year 39 on this thing.

Speaker 1 (01:11:26):
Can't change that name now.

Speaker 7 (01:11:27):
Can't change it. What are we going to do? Like
a zucchini and... No, we can't. Zucchini and bourbon, I
don't know if that even goes together.

Speaker 4 (01:11:33):
Kelly would like to request the band Great White for
next year.

Speaker 7 (01:11:36):
You know, I've already had them.

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
You have? I have had them.

Speaker 7 (01:11:39):
And let me just tell you, he is still as
fabulous as you would hope he was.

Speaker 6 (01:11:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
Okay, well, it's time for a redo. He is.

Speaker 7 (01:11:46):
He was there.

Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
Maybe the 40th.

Speaker 7 (01:11:48):
Unfortunately, I believe that he may have gotten COVID the
day after he was there.

Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
Oh, really?

Speaker 7 (01:11:53):
He didn't get it from me because I haven't had that.
You know what I'm saying? I'm just telling you.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
Now, Mayor Angela Kirk here, getting ready for Zucchini Fest.
And to your left, you have your left-hand woman there.
Caitlin has joined us. We have learned that Caitlin... is
basically the PR manager. And just listening to Mayor Kirk
talk for the first time and meeting her for the
first time, Kaylin, how difficult is it to keep up
with Mayor Kirk? Because I don't think she's on anything,

(01:12:19):
but she kind of sounds like she's on something.

Speaker 7 (01:12:21):
I'm on life, baby.

Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
She brings the energy.

Speaker 9 (01:12:24):
She keeps me on my toes every day. It's like,
all right, what are we getting into today?

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:12:28):
She keeps it appropriate, though, so we're good. Yesterday, they
had me run like two and a half miles. I
did a bunch of videos for this upcoming thing. We've
got another worker who's doing all of our video stuff.
She's like, run here. I was like, listen, dude, I'm
going to be 59 years old next week. This running
thing is I'm past it, dude. I can jog. I
can walk quickly. This running thing, I've had enough of.

Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
We have said many, many times on the air, if
you ever see me running, run with me because something
awful is back the other way.

Speaker 7 (01:12:55):
I say, look, I will run. From someone who has
a gun. But if you've got a knife, I'm probably
going to fight you because it's not worth the run.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
It's not worth the run.

Speaker 7 (01:13:03):
It's not worth the run, man.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
I will tell you this.

Speaker 6 (01:13:05):
This might be the coolest mayor in Ohio. Last time,
you know, they do full throttle. We have full throttle
Thursday down at the Fortress. And when I was doing
it last month, when I was hosting the event, you
come walking up in your.

Speaker 4 (01:13:16):
ACDC shirt, fresh off the concert. Absolutely. With the horseshoe.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
You were there.

Speaker 7 (01:13:20):
Yeah, I ran into Ronnie Hunter down there, and she
just sent me some pictures of us together. We kind
of ran into each other after the concert. So, yeah, look,
I love all music.

Speaker 6 (01:13:28):
I am.

Speaker 7 (01:13:28):
And people are like, well, why are you only doing
the country? It's not that. I was telling them, like,
these big bands, they go out on these arena tours,
and they're making a gazillion dollars. Like, I can't pay
a gazillion dollars. We're a little small city. I mean,
we're on the move. Like, don't get me wrong. Like,
we're growing crazy, but... You can't pay $ 300, 000 for, you know,
Venezuela to show up at your door. You know what
I mean? And, you know, sometimes.

Speaker 4 (01:13:49):
I would hope he's not getting that much.

Speaker 7 (01:13:51):
Well, I mean, I guess we just all scream out
the lyrics for him.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
I'm just going to say that.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
Yes. That's a wrap.

Speaker 4 (01:13:58):
And you can also only get who's on tour at
the time.

Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
And, you know, it's routing. It's like, I love, like,
I'll tell you, the first year I was there, I
had Boyz II Men one night. We did the Kip
Winger thing. We did a whole, like, three thing of that.
We try to mix it up, but some years you can't.
And this is the second year in a row that
it's all country.

Speaker 8 (01:14:16):
Right.

Speaker 7 (01:14:16):
We tried to bring, you know, we had Vanilla Ice
one year, which was fabulous. That guy rocked the stage.
It was the best thing ever. He did a little
OHIO for us, and we got pictures. And then we
had Brantley Gilbert right after that. So we tried to
mix up as much as we can. Some years you can't.
And then I just tried to bring the best that
we got on tour, and that's what this is.

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
Well, if people want to get the rundown, because you
have got a lot of things going on for four days,
does the website have a list of who's playing what,
all the things?

Speaker 7 (01:14:41):
There's a whole schedule, obetszucchinifest.com or zucchinifest.com, obets.com. Anything that
says Obets in it will get you where you need
to be. Make sure you're looking at the current one,
because I think it probably still has our old stuff
on there, too.

Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Caitlin, shout it out.

Speaker 7 (01:14:52):
She is my Vanna White of this show tonight. Go ahead.

Speaker 9 (01:14:56):
Check out ZucchiniFest.com. We have a full food guide where
you can see, like, plan out your meals for the
weekend and see all the food vendors that will be there.

Speaker 7 (01:15:04):
How many food.

Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
Vendors are we talking out there? Can you go all
four days, three meals a day without repeating yourself? Yes.

Speaker 7 (01:15:12):
But you won't because you'll find your favorite and you'll
eat that two or three times, I promise.

Speaker 6 (01:15:16):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (01:15:17):
We have a page for our ground vendors, so you
can search and see any little shops you're looking for,
all of our rides information. And something we haven't talked
about is we have our Zucchini Fest Shandy. It's a
blueberry edition, so that's made by Noctera Brewing. So it's
called Golden 5 Blueberry Edition. It is a zucchini shandy

(01:15:38):
with a hint of blueberry in it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
It's exclusive for Zucchini Fest.

Speaker 7 (01:15:42):
You can only get it next weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:15:43):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:15:44):
So we have a lady here. Her name's Dewan. She's
with Craft Creation. She does all of our zucchini bread.
She bakes that in our kitchens over there. She's fabulous.
And this beer that they did is modeled after one
of her blueberry zucchini breads.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 7 (01:15:57):
So, yeah, she is a great lady. She does all that.
And she's like, oh, my God, imagine being a beer
that's inspired by your zucchini bread.

Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
How many loaves of zucchini bread does the official baker
of Zucchini Fest bake?

Speaker 7 (01:16:09):
Dude, I think she does like 4,000 loaves, doesn't she? Yeah,
something like that. I mean, it's crazy. And she doesn't
have a lot left over at the end of it either.
I mean, she's fabulous. She's a local, like she's a
cottage baker. So she used to do, she does all
her other stuff at her house. But we loan her
our kitchen, our senior center, and we had kind of
shut the whole thing down.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
Well, if you're doing 4,000 loaves, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:16:27):
You can't do that in your home kitchen.

Speaker 7 (01:16:28):
Dude, if you come by, so we're going to be
on with Cameron Fontana. Next Friday. So he'll come out
and check out the bread and stuff, too. So that's
going to be really, really, really early for a lot
of people.

Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
A lot of people.

Speaker 7 (01:16:40):
It's going to be a great show. You guys come out.
We'll be happy to host you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:44):
Well, we would love to. Unfortunately, all of us will
be gone. I get married a week from today. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:16:49):
That's what Emily said. She said you're getting married.

Speaker 1 (01:16:52):
I'm very sad we're going to miss Zucchini Fest this year.
We'll be back. Yes, they'll be back.

Speaker 7 (01:16:56):
Well, you're coming back anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:16:58):
I'll be back home Saturday.

Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:17:01):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
Saturday, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:17:02):
You just have to come out Saturday.

Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
We'll miss the kickoff. You guys can be there because
you'll be back.

Speaker 7 (01:17:06):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
All right. All right. Well, thank you so much, Mayor Kirk,
for coming in. Caitlin, thank you for putting up with
Mayor Kirk. And, yeah, Zucchini Fest kicks off a week
from this Friday. Obedzucchinifest.com is the website to get all
the information you need. And I cannot wait. Thank you
so much.

Speaker 7 (01:17:22):
Come out and see us. We'll see you.

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Thank you, guys. 997 The Blitz.

Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
And now, the three things you need to know before
you go is.

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
The National Weather Service has confirmed three more tornadoes from
the August 11th storms in central Ohio. One tornado hit
Upper Arlington, damaging trees and roofs. An EF1 tornado also
touched down in Columbus' Old Town East, causing structural damage.
And a tornado was confirmed in Plain City. Well, a
federal judge has approved the $ 72. 5 million settlement between Jeffrey

(01:17:51):
Epstein's victims and Bank of America. This is the third
financial institution to publicly reach such a settlement. The women
are suing collectively under the pseudonym Jane Doe, and they
have accused Bank of America of ignoring suspicious transactions by Epstein,
who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial. Bank
of America... agreed to settle the lawsuit while still insisting

(01:18:15):
it did not facilitate Epstein's sex trafficking crimes. The same
Jane Doe plaintiffs reached similar settlements with JPMorgan Chase and
Deutsche Bank. Jack Osborne says the script for the Ozzy
Osbourne biopic is finished and they're now moving forward with production.
Jack says they have an idea of who they want

(01:18:36):
to play Ozzy, but he's not allowed to say who
it is. Who could it be? Who would be a
good Aussie? I bet they're not going to pick a
huge star.

Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
No, probably not. Probably not.

Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
Who played him in the dirt?

Speaker 5 (01:18:51):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
Nobody.

Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
A nobody? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
And I love the dirt. In terms of music biopics,
I think the dirt is great. Ozzy, I think they
got the The person Noah, I don't.

Speaker 4 (01:19:10):
Tony Cavallaro.

Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
Okay, that wouldn't be someone.

Speaker 3 (01:19:12):
That Aussie, I would not pick.

Speaker 1 (01:19:14):
Okay. So, I don't know. That's a good question. I mean, also,
it depends on what part of his life are they covering.
You know? Are they doing... All early?

Speaker 2 (01:19:24):
Yeah, like the dolly show that's coming to Broadway, they
have three dollies. A young and then someone toward the middle.

Speaker 1 (01:19:32):
Is that true?

Speaker 2 (01:19:34):
Yeah. They have three dollies.

Speaker 1 (01:19:36):
They're stealing that directly from the Cher show.

Speaker 5 (01:19:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
The Cher show on Broadway had three Chers. They called
her Baby Something and Star.

Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
You'll have to see if the dolly one's similar.

Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
Oh, I can't believe they're doing that.

Speaker 6 (01:19:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:19:49):
I didn't know that. They're doing her whole life, so
they've got three different dollies. Yeah, so I wonder if
they'll do that for the Aussie one. All right, those
are your three things.

Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
Excuse me. You know, it's a Friday, so I have
to assume that you're already kind of hopefully pumped up
and ready for the weekend. However, I would say during
the week, all of us kind of hit an energy wall. Now,

(01:20:22):
our schedule is obviously a little bit different.

Speaker 6 (01:20:24):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
It's a well-known fact that at least four out of
five days I'm going home and taking a nap by
about 1130 noon, somewhere in there.

Speaker 3 (01:20:32):
But can you think of a time, Thick?

Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
You're not really a nap taker for the most part.
Can you think of a time during the day where
it kind of hits you and you all of a sudden,
you're like, oh, there it is. Yes. About what time
is that?

Speaker 4 (01:20:46):
Two o'clock.

Speaker 1 (01:20:47):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:20:47):
I'm sitting at my computer struggling to stay awake.

Speaker 3 (01:20:51):
Is that an odd thing at all?

Speaker 6 (01:20:52):
Because we eat at like 12.30, so now I've got
a belly, a full belly, and I'm sitting at the
computer going, oh my God, I've got to go get
a cup of coffee.

Speaker 4 (01:21:00):
It's the time I should be taking a nap.

Speaker 1 (01:21:02):
Right, yeah. Well, you're about right there, because a new
report found that the average American hits the wall at 2.48 p.m.
on a regular day. That's when you just start to
feel drained, and you're like, Man, if I could just
get a little siesta right in here.

Speaker 3 (01:21:23):
Or you need that pick-me-up.

Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
You need your afternoon snack to re-energize and get through
the rest of the day before you hit bed.

Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
But, yeah, 248.

Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
I would, I would, I would think that that would
be for sure the time where everything, cause yeah, lunch
is digested. You got your, you got your, your, you know,
insulin spike from your lunch.

Speaker 5 (01:21:42):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
And then it all kind of starts to fade off.
And about two 48, I can't tell you how many
times when I would do the morning show, but I
would also have like another job at the radio station
and I'd be at my computer.

Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
Right. Brutal man.

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
It is brutal. Trying to keep that head up. You know.
You can just feel it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:58):
And then what do I do? Oh, well, I can
go do some yard work or mow the lawn. That'll
keep me awake.

Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:22:03):
And it's like, I don't want.

Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
To do this. But then by, but then five, you
finish it by five or six.

Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
I'm dead.

Speaker 3 (01:22:07):
And you're dead tired.

Speaker 5 (01:22:08):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:22:08):
And then I get the shower.

Speaker 4 (01:22:10):
That wakes me up just long enough to stay up
until I go to bed.

Speaker 1 (01:22:12):
You get bad breath. Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (01:22:13):
So, yeah, you know it's coming.

Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
And if it's right around 248, you're right in line
with everyone else. Now, let's see if we can learn
you something. Sit up and pay attention. Yeah, let's learn
you some stuff on a Friday morning. Make you a
little bit smarter than you were when you woke up today.
Send you into the weekend with a deck full of
new knowledge. Like, did you know people who run marathons

(01:22:36):
finish the race about a half inch shorter than when
they started? Temporary effect of your back muscles tensing up
over the course of the race. That much? Yeah. Wow. Yeah,
between that and the constant impact, you're just kind of
compressing your back.

Speaker 4 (01:22:49):
Wow, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:22:51):
Did you know that Dr. Pepper promoted itself as a
hot drink for the winter of the 60s? In the 60s,
if you heat it up, it turns thicker, almost like
an apple cider kind of thing. I heard people enjoying
a little warm Dr. Pepper. That does not sound good
to me. Did you know Seeing Eye, if we're a
Seeing Eye dog, is trademarked by the first school to
train dogs for the blind, the Seeing Eye Incorporated.

Speaker 4 (01:23:13):
No kidding.

Speaker 1 (01:23:14):
Only dogs that were trained there can be called Seeing
Eye dogs.

Speaker 3 (01:23:17):
Oh, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:23:17):
The rest of them are supposed to be called Dog Guides.

Speaker 4 (01:23:20):
Did you know it was trained at that school?

Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
They're supposed to be, yeah. It's copyrighted. Did you know
that it's been 60 years since the Beatles have toured?
Tomorrow is actually the anniversary of their final show on
their final tour, August 29th, 1966. Now, some people do
say that a couple years later, whatever it was, they
did the rooftop tour. concert right but that wasn't a

(01:23:47):
tour that wasn't an official show that was kind of
a thing why oh why i.

Speaker 6 (01:23:52):
Wonder why they didn't tour more i mean because linen
linen was killed much later than.

Speaker 1 (01:23:57):
That yeah but he also did his own thing for
a while yeah he just never did anything else and
did you know finally the word poppycock it comes from
an old dutch word that means soft poop It's a
bunch of poppycock.

Speaker 4 (01:24:13):
Okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:24:14):
Yeah, I get it. There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:24:16):
