Speaker 1 (00:01):
A great Friday. You gonna try. Hopefully we'll stay mostly dry.
We do have a chance for some straight showers later
this afternoon, high of eighty two. More of the same
over the weekend. Few scattered showers here and there. Can
I tell you, I uh almost it ended up working out.

(00:22):
But I almost did something last night for the first time.
And I can't tell you how long. Cocaine. Not quite No,
it's a school night, buddy, come on twenty anymore. Uh No.
I almost completely ruined dinner, like one of those moments
where I actually technor and I was like, uh, you

(00:43):
may have to pick something up because I think I
just really yeah, because we were having uh salmon bowls
last night. He has some rice and some salmon, carrots
and jilipinos and honey. You know, you make your little
little poke bowls. And I normally wan of two ways.
I normally do salmon onlike the Blackstone, get a nice

(01:06):
little flat top seaer going. Lately, I've been cutting it
up into cubes and I'll throw it in the air fryer.
It's a little bit quicker, a little easier, less mess.
They come out pretty good. And I bought these salmon filets,
and I didn't want to cut them up. I was.
I wanted it quicker, so I was just gonna do
it in the pan. But I had enough salmon for

(01:27):
the four of us, so it took two pans to
make all the salmon filets. And I made this great
honey soy glaze, spicy honey soy glaze with the brown
sugar honey and the soy and the garlic and the seasonings,
and I spread it all over the salmon. And I
started by cooking it sauceside down instead of skidding side down.

(01:53):
And it took about, I don't know, less than ninety
seconds because my idiot brain and I know this sugar crystallizes.
Sugar burns. That's how you get the top of your
crember let. That's how you get the it burns. I flown,
babe of salmon. I went, you cut vegetables. I turned

(02:16):
back around. It's just black and smoky. And I was like, oh.
I tried to flip the salmon. Everything ripped. I was like,
oh god no. Thankfully I was able to like get
the the burnt layer off, and I saved the salmon
for the most part. But oh, I did I ignore
I was because she took Birdy to the dog park

(02:38):
while I was cooking dinner real quick, and I was like,
you might have to pick something up. And it's like
thirty five dollars of salmon down the train.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Because that's not how you're supposed to make black and salmon.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
No, that was not the right black and salmon at all.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Did you taste the burnt part? Because I love burn stuff,
love it. I that seems like it would be like
kind of okay, I.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Don't mind a crust, I don't mind the seer, but this.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Was black charcoal.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Okay, yeah this.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah, there were yeah, there were bits that were still good.
There were bits that were on the the crunchy, seared side,
but there was a good chunk of it that was
just literally caught on fire. Break your teeth. Yeah, it
was not good.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh, I'll ask Charlie when he does my burgers. Just
like they can be towards very almost black, right, I
don't care, jerky, that's what I like. My sister will
burn cookies and they're not black, but they're way too dark, right,
And I'm like, she saves.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
In formats and you're good.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I love them really.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Remember she's the one who only wants the edge of
the brownies, right, Yeah, yeah, I think it's overcooked.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
How are you on a Friday, Kelly?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I'm fine, Yeah, I'm fine. Yep, great, really good, looking
forward to a weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Hopefully it's not sound very convincing at all, not at all.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I almost launched off into something I'm thinking about, but
it's way it's boring, so never mind. It's about me
like always thinking about wanting to do ancestry dot com
because I don't know anything about my family history, and
then getting into it and saying I just don't care
that much. I don't care that much. That's what it
comes down to me.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
There have been a good handful of things where I'm like,
I really wish I want to kind of dona. I
don't want to spend the time. I don't care that much.
Yeah right.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
The money like it's nothing. It's like twenty five dollars
a month or something, and I'm like, eh, okay, yeah,
I mean it's not like I don't have twenty five dollars.
It's just like you.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Could also go to conspiracy route that if you do
the ancestry dot com or the twenty three and meters
that it's nothing except to gather your DNA information that
they are going to use for nefarious reasons.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
But I also don't need to know if I have
a half brother or sister out there. I don't care.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
There's that too. Yeah, you can find out that, you
can easily find out that.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
It's all a big headache when it comes down to it.
Pretty much whatever my family history will remain unknown to me.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
This person dead baby, dead baby, dead baby, dead baby,
dead baby. What was the show? Yeah? Think? How are
you on a Friday?

Speaker 5 (05:19):
I'm great man, Ready for a weekend. It's gonna be
nice weather today. Looking forward to uh kind of a
bachelor party?

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Is that this weekend?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah? I don't know if it's a bachelor party is
not the right word.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Whatever it is, I know it's gonna be fun.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
I was, you know, I was thinking about this this
morning because we were in talks with one of our salespeople,
and we've got clients we work with and stuff like that.
One of them happens to be Sirens. They're an advertiser
here on the station. We have a relationship with them,
and I am not a strip club fan. I don't

(05:56):
care about strip clubs staying here. But I was like, wow,
if Siren's real, they want me to come out or whatever,
you want to do a little cross promotion. Sure, I'll
go to the strip club for my bachelor party, which
is basically four people. This is not a bachelor party.
There's a bunch of middle aged men getting together to
have a nice steak dinner.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Hey, the hangover was just four guys.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Yeah, that's that's very true. And if anyone could turn
it into a hangover to me and Scott, you've been
definitely turn it into a hangover situation. But I did
tell her. I told her. I was like, I'm not
doing the whole bat because when you go to a
strip club for a bachelor but they get you on stage,
they rip your shirt, they dump stuff on you, and
I'm like, I'm I'm not doing that. I was thinking

(06:40):
about that in the shower. Yeah. I was like, sure,
I'll go get a lap dance or I'll get they
want to spank me with my belt one time? Okay, fine, Okay,
now that I might want to see, fine, whatever, but
you're not ripping my rooms. You're not ripping my clothes
and dumping stuff on me. That's not happening.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I've never been to the casino, so we're.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Gonna do that. Okay, we're gonna go to the Yeah,
we're gonna go to the casino. We're gonna have a
nice steak dinner.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
You don't know where you'll end up. Yeah, it'll be something.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
There's nothing seriously planning. So yes, I definitely am looking
forward to hanging out. But yeah, I don't know. Bachelor
parties the right to the right.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Oh wait, let us know on Monday whether you'd call
it a bachelor party.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Change might chanchangs might change. We have got a very
busy Friday, including your v IP weekend passes for Louder
than Life that we're gonna do it about eight forty
this morning, So if you have other plans, to make
sure you set the alarm on your phone to come
back for that. Also, I want to talk about silly

(07:43):
reasons to end a relationship and a very interesting question
about back to school and kindergarteners. We're gonna get into
this coming up a bout seven forty this morning. Right now,
let's talk Blitz morning trivia thick all.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
Right, twenty five bucks up for grabs, water beds, and
stuff if you're the first one to text in the
correct answer. The Pretty Reckless currently opening for ACDC on
their Power Up Tour. But the Pretty Reckless cannot play
an upcoming September eighth show in Saint Louis, so another
band decided to step up and open for ac DC
in their place.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Pretty big band? What band is it?

Speaker 5 (08:14):
First one to text it in at eight hundred nine seven, Oh,
one's a gift card.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Alright, let's get that answer for Blitz Morning Tribute Tigne.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
All right, the question was the Pretty Reckless opening for
ACDC on their Power Up tour, will not be able
to play the September eighth show in Saint Louis, So
another band has stepped in for ACDC to open up.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
What band is it?

Speaker 5 (08:38):
Can you imagine you have tickets to that show and
all of a sudden you find out the Foo Fighters
are opening for ac DC.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yeah, you know who is jumping up and down and
screaming out of excitement right now? Are all the third
party sellers? Oh? Yeah, right, they're like, oh, our tickets
just got worth crap.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
To Yeah, everyone, they're adjusting price is right now. I'm
sure Dave Grohl is beyond stoked. He said it was
so life changing to discover ACDC as a kid, and
all he ever wanted to do was live up to
their stage show. He said, this is literally a dream
come true. So if you want blood, you've got it.
Let there be rocks Saint Louis.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
Joseph McGall from Columbus first one to text and the
correct answers got the twenty five bucks to.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Waterbeds and stuff. I wanted to let you know so
you can plan accordingly. If you had any plans to
head over to California to get your unicorn, you can
just nix that now. You don't have to. You can
just put that on the back burner because unfortunately, oh wait, no,

(09:46):
I'm sorry. Let me rephrase. If you have plans to
go to California to get your unicorn, you can still
keep them on your calendar for now. I misread this
because al proposal that would ban the sale of unicorns
did not pass state legislator, even though they had heavy

(10:11):
bipartisan support from all kinds of people, including dozens of
animal welfare groups. The Ethics Over Aesthetics Act, which was
introduced last year, did not pass basically, the law was
banning the sale of genetically engineered designer pets. Two of

(10:36):
the pets and I use air quotes on that list
were glowing the dark bunnies and unicorns. That was kind
of the argument. Now, of course they're also talking about
like little chihanapoos or whatever, but they just don't want

(10:56):
animals genetically modified just for or purely apparent reasons rather
than health or welfare reasons. Yeah, because people have been
doing that lately. They're cross breathing different types of dogs,
any any doodle. Yes. Absolutely. One of the big concerns was,

(11:17):
I guess there was a company that was working on
gene editing technology which would make it possible for them
to genetically engineer rabbits through insertion of fluorescent afluorescent protein
gene which would then basically make glow in the dark.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
But you know, if we learned anything from the Island
of Doctor Moreau, the animals will turn around and kill you, yeah,
pretty quickly when you start messing with them like that.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
The Analyst site reports, which describe broader ambitions to develop
a variety of genetically engineered animals, including gold dark rabbits,
and other novel creatures as actual unicorns. So as of
right now, if you want to glow in the dark
money or unicorn, like I said, you can still leave
that on the calendar. As the bill has not passed,

(12:13):
it is going to be I guess reworked and re
talked about and revoted on. So not guaranteeing you're gonna
get your unicorn, but as of right now you can
at least leave it on your calendar.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together, all right.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
I normally don't do this for the not so breaking news,
but when you're this stupid, I just have to. I
told you yesterday about a guy who has been has
become known as blunt Man, and he has become very
popular at the gathering of the Juggalos as the guy
you go to if you want some queed. And unfortunately,

(12:55):
he was on his way to the gathering of the
Juggalos coming up up and he was pulled over one
hundred and forty some pounds of marijuana in his car.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
That's a lot of weak.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
He also had a whole bunch of psilocybin mushrooms, some
pills and to make matters worse. He had a sign
in his car when he was pulled over that said
weed for sale. Like, there's no question what you were doing,
which is why he was charged with intent to distribute
and a whole bunch of other charges. Well, to make

(13:28):
matters worse and to build the prosecutor's case even more,
they have now brought forward new evidence. Well, take a
listen to their new evidence.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Juggalos, what this is the Duke Voni Jane One happening
is Saint Clomp.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I'll say, you need to talk about.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Bluntman's famous one stop shop.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
At the gathering of the Juggalos. I'm gonna let all
y'all know that.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Blunt Man's famous one stop shop.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
Is where you need to go and cop the finest
weeds and paraphernalias.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
At the gathering of the Juggalos, you literally have the
band member coming out and be like, Hey, when you
want to buy weed, go visit.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
Blunt Many stuff weeds and paraphernalias.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Right, Yeah, I don't think the prosecution is gonna have
much trouble proving that this guy was about to sell drugs.
I mean, you gotta sign and you've got one of
the members of the band saying, hey, go get your
weed from this guy. Not good. Wow, we move on
from blunt Man onto Bongjlio. Cranford Township is in New

(14:32):
Jersey and they have had themselves some public forums and
township meetings where they've got open forum like a lot
of city councils do. If there's an issue on the docket,
as a member of the community, you were allowed to
come forward and you know, state your thoughts on the
whole thing. Well, this man did so at the city

(14:55):
township meeting dressed in a giant bong costume. He he this
is his second appearance. Now. He has spent his allotted
five minutes playing a music recording and towards the end
of the song, smoke started coming out of the top
of his costume. He then identified himself as bung Hoolio

(15:18):
and then went about his way. Obviously, they are talking
about bringing legalized marijuana to Crawford Township. He was then
followed by a speaker advocating for state cannabis dispensaries to
have accessible entrances. So they're very much on board with
the legalizing of weed in New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
It's a pretty good costume, see it.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yeah, oh nice, Yeah, Bong Holio. I mean it's if
you've got smoke coming off the top, you've put some
work into this. Yeah. I don't know where the smoke
is coming from and what fan system you're using, but
good for you. If you can build a costume with
a little smoke maker inside, you should probably, you know,

(16:02):
assert your efforts in other areas. You seem like a
smart man. You seem like quite the engineer if you
can put that together. So blunt Man and Bong Holio
bringing you you're not so breaking news this morning nine
nine seven of the Blitz. We have said for a
long time that no matter what you're into, you can
find your people on the world Wide Web. There's someone

(16:23):
out there for everyone, Like your group is out there.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah, and there's at least one Reddit sub for it.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Yeah, you're either can find a Reddit sub or a
Facebook group that you can join to talk with your
people's about whatever niche little thing you're into. The other
thing you can find on the world Wide Web is
not only any sort of group or any sort of
kink or whatever it is you're into. You can find
any sort of product online. Basically, anything you can think

(16:50):
of is online, and I was looking through some of
the strangest items that you can find online, and I
want to play around of should we keep it. I'm
gonna get give you an item and a just in
the description of said item, and let's all vote on
whether or not this is actually needed or we could
just destroy it and be done with it forever. Okay, okay.
Like the first one is the selfie toaster. This is

(17:12):
an item you can buy online, the selfie toaster. It's
a custom toaster that you order and basically what they
do is the coils inside the toaster. You send in
a picture and the coils are shaped like your face,
so when you make your toast, it burns an image
of your face onto the toast. So when you bring
the toast out, you've got your personalized toast. It's a

(17:33):
selfie toaster. Are you keeping this item? Kelling?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
I mean, I think it's really dumb, but I really
want my face burned into.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Could burn lots of things into it.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah, any picture you send in, but it's made for
it as a selfie toaster. So are you keeping the
selfie toaster thing?

Speaker 2 (17:55):
If somebody give it to me as a gift, I'm
not buying it.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Okay, Okay, I know you're putting of probably an explicit
picture in there and having it burned toast and then
giving it.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
What we do, I don't I know, I don't think so.
I think. I think I'm just gonna put a picture,
a beautiful picture of Nora on the toes, okay, because
I really want to butter her face, so that would
give me the opportunity to do so. Uh. Ostrich pillow.
It's a giant pillow that you actually put your entire
head inside to take a nap. Has an opening for

(18:29):
your nose and mouth and hands, and this designed to
block out light and distractions.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Nine.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
That's a good question. That's silly, that's just that's a
big old Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
I don't think so. I don't need my whole head cover,
but just this open.

Speaker 7 (18:48):
No.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
No, I'm good. I can fall asleep during the day
I need. I don't need a pitch black I got
a mask on. Yeah movement, yes, yeah, not needed. Uh.
Skizza pizza scissors Scissa, Sissa. So they're pizza scissors. Basically,
it's a giant pair of scissors specifically zioned to cut pizza.

(19:12):
The bottom blade, however, also works like a spatula, so
you cut the pizza and scoop it out.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
I love it. I love it. I hate using a
pizza what do you call it? Cutter? Pizza cutter? Those
round blades, I hate it. I do not like that.
I want these scissors slash spatulas.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Okay, yeah, ky I understand the roller cover hate terrible.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
I got a long blade.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Oh yeah, you need one of those.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
You put all these gadgets. You must have an enormous
kitchen because you've got the greatest gadgets for good size.
So nice.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
You have the big old pizza blade.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Yeah, so easy.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
If I were to, if I were to do it again,
when I build my outdoor kitchen and I put in
that brick pizza oven, I want to get basically just
like that. But I want a samurai sword.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Okay, so.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
We're getting a wood fired pizza like this. Next month
we're buying one, for sure. I think we need one
of those.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Now, who's got the cool.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Kitchen? It'll be out there.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
You're building the brick thing.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
I don't know what we're doing. We have no idea
what we're doing. We decided we're doing a wood fired
pizza Thanksgiving this year. Yes, wood fired pizza.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Oh absolutely, damn.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
Okay, well, let's go to Kelly's for thanks here's.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
One for you. This is available online Fundi's. Fundi's is
underwear for two. It's literally a giant pair of underwear
designed for two people to wear at the same time.
Four leg holes both people can climb in.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
For what purpose?

Speaker 1 (20:59):
I don't know. Does you want to be close to
your significant.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Other do that without fundies?

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Sure, it's just one of those novelty sex things.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Yeah, probably, you know. Are we gonna have sex in
the fundies? Right?

Speaker 2 (21:14):
It's just silly now, I know it's silly. No, we
don't need this.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Wait, but hold on, do you stand side by side
or are you facing each other? Hold on, I gotta google.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Like both your legs are in one hole and no,
there's four holes.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
But are you facing each other or are you facing
Is it like undis the long way? So you're staying.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Both facing the same let's see four other You are
facing each other?

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Novelty?

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Okay, gift, yep, there it is. So you're bump you're
bumping uglies, just standing right next to each other. Yeah, okay,
that can go. That's uh here we go. Another item
you can find online a motorized ice cream cone. Basically,
you hold onto this item, you up your ice cream
into it, but then you push a button and it
manually rotates, so you don't have to like turn the

(22:05):
cone when you want to leak your ice cream.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
We are so lazy.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yeah, someone actually invented technology to eliminate the exhausting labor
of rotating and ice cream.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Oh exhausting.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Yeah, I don't need that. I can go away. Let's
see the euro Club. This would be something that I,
you know, if I thought this was a good idea,
this is something I would buy. A golf club design
that you just pee right into the club while you're
playing golf. The handle contains a leakproof reservoir and comes
with a privacy towel, so you just hang it over

(22:39):
while you're holding your club and you can pee into it.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Okay, but doesn't that change your swing?

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Yes, that's going to change the weight. Yeah, it's going
to change the way to your club. And not to
mention it's going to change because the the the liquid
will move from one end of the shaft to the
other as you're swinging, So it's going to completely change.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Your swing and your pen.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah, there's your ping. It was created by a board
certified urologist, so I mean it's actually board certified. But
they do have these items that you can buy that
slide right into where one of your clubs go, and
it's hollow, and you can make your own drinks and
it looks like a driver and so when you pump it,
you've got drinks. Oh coming out of it. It's like

(23:20):
its own little tap basically, but peeing into a golf club, yeah,
that can go bye bye. Don't eat that. And finally,
the potty putter, a miniature putting green that fits around
your toilet so you can practice golf while you're pooping.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Oh, I love it.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
You're sitting down. It comes with golf balls, a little
cup of flags.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
You're sitting there and oh my god, I'm trying to
figure out ways to get off my phone. This sounds
like a good way to do.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Oh yeah, you can stay active. At least you've got
some sort of movement going on.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Calories wiring a skill.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
YEP four texted in and said, hey, hey, toast porn.
You guys just created a whole new genre toast port.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Yeah, you absolutely could get away with some toast porn
for sure.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Doug said, he's got a samurai sword you can have.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
I'll take it. I want a new pizza cutter, and
that's going to be a samurai sword for sure.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
Now, all right unless.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
The three things you need to know before you go.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
All lanes on seventy East and West near buck Eye
Lake in Lincoln County shutdown last night as floodwaters rose
in the area. It's unclear how long the closure will last,
but Odont says it will not reopen until crews can
inspect the roadway and determine it safe. The village of
buck Eye Lake issued a mandatory evacuation order last night
for everyone living west of seventy nine as the South

(24:39):
Fork Licking River was expected to reach a record height.
The order will remain in effect until eight pm tonight,
or until the mayor decides to lift it. Residents in
a Hebren mobile home community had to pack up their
belongings last night. The mayor of Hebron and Licking County
firefighters went door to door urging residents to leave ahead
of an expected higher peak. Everyone is accounted or After

(25:00):
flash floods yesterday wiped out two homeless camps in southeast Columbus.
More than one hundred firefighters responded near Gender Road as
fast moving water swept through camps along Black Lick Creek.
Two people were rescued. Five others initially reported missing, were
found safe. Firefighters also rescued a twelve year old boy
who was on his bicycle when he was swept off
a bridge at portmand Park in Canaw Winchester. Well as

(25:23):
we were hit with all that flooding yesterday, tens of
thousands of residents in northwest Indiana were living Day nine
with no power thanks to a massive storm on August
eleventh that took down trees and power lines there. Schools
in Gary, Indiana have been closed since then. They started
up I think August sixth, they went to the eleventh
and they have not been back. Residents have had to

(25:45):
turn to social media to find working Wi Fi, any
open laundromat that they can get to food, diapers, etc.
They've been told by their power company that full restoration
is not expected until Tuesday. The electrical infrastructure was just
about obliterated by one hundred mile an hour straight line winds.
Cruis are doing major repair work and full replacements on

(26:07):
nearly three hundred utility poles and forty four major transmission poles.
So they are in quite a bit of trouble there
in north west Indiana. How long were you out at
that time the deracho, Oh, eight eight days? That is
a lot. I've been out three days before and it
really tested my psychological makeup.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah absolutely, Oh it will yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Sure, man, it's crazy. So oh they get their power
on here soon. Those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
All right, We've had some crazy weather which has done
a ton of damage across the area. And you know,
if you own a home, you've got home insurance, and
if your basement floods and it's you know, extensive enough,
you're going to tap into that home insurance to get
water removed, drywall, redone, whatever the case. You've got your

(27:00):
car insurance in case you get in a car accident.
But I want to know for the businesses out there,
is there I mean, obviously you have business insurance, does
that cover everything? Or do you have to get specialized insurance?
Like I was talking about the Columbus Country Club, which
is completely flooded out. I mean it's so bad they're
not gonna be able to golf for a long time.

(27:21):
That's a lot of money lost. And how much permanent
damage is not permanent damage, but how much extensive damage
is done where they're gonna have to redo fair ways
and replant grass or dig up mud piles, or maybe
if the cart path, you know, the concrete car path
that winds through the golf course that you drive the

(27:42):
carts on, does that much water damage the asphalt get
underneath it, lift it? Are they gonna have to re
asphalt parts of it? Do they have insurance for that?
The other example I brought up was what do they
called arborus? The tree people? Like? Do they have house
damage insurance? Because the tree doesn't always fall the way
you think it's gonna fall.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
They have to, I mean, they have to be covered
to that, don't they.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Whenever I get flyers from those guys, it always says
insured and bonded.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Okay. So is it just overall just business insurance or
is it specific to ye?

Speaker 5 (28:19):
Well, I would imagine, you know, you buy insurance that
covers you know, liability, every all this stuff, and you have.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
To tell the insurance this is what I do.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
And I'm sure they have rates based on you know,
the accidents that happen in that business kind of thing, you.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Know, oh for sure. Uh So I'm trying to think
of other specialized businesses that have specific insurance.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
Do you know that they're multinational corporations and tour companies
by kidnap and ransom insurance, that's right, Yeah, in case
you're kidnapped, they'll pay off.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
You.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Hear about that in movies a lot. Yeah that I've
got kidnap insurance. Yes. Wow, let's see here.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
How about haunted houses. I bet they've got specialized insurance.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Okay, you scare someone to death.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Yeah, scare someone to death, or like one of your
workers gets like punched or you know, and like loses it.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
I know.

Speaker 5 (29:19):
We've had a couple of bass tournaments, like Blitz bass
fishing tournaments, okay, where we had to buy a specific
insurance policy just for the tournament.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Okay, I'm a cover like drowning, yeah, a fish hook
for that one.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah, just because they could sue you because it was
your the blitz bass fishing tournament. Right. I could see that.
I know when I had my entertainment company and I
was dejaying a lot of a lot of corporate events if
you were to go to like some mall or or hotel,
you had to have specialized event insurance just for that
specific event. Uh, anyone out there? Eight hunder If you

(29:58):
own a business, do you have to have a specialized
type of insurance for your business? Blitz?

Speaker 6 (30:03):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Who's this? Hi?

Speaker 8 (30:05):
This is Danielle. I work in a pharmacy, but this
is generally with all medicals businesses. We have insurance in
case of like medical malpractice, right, it basically makes sense
for that. But yeah, is that like.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
If you act if you accidentally give someone the wrong medication?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, what's the difference for pharmacists versus like doctors, Because
if you make a mistake as a doctor surgery something
like that, then medical malpractice. Is that the same for
pharmacists if you give like the wrong pills or make
a mistake that in that way shape or for him?

Speaker 9 (30:42):
I'm not sure because I'm just a technician, but I
know for the fact that medical officers have to have
insurance for that sort of thing, Like I know my
my where I work, I am insured for that sort
of that thing.

Speaker 8 (30:56):
But definitely medical officers have it too.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Yeah, absolutely well, I appreciate the call. Thank you. So much.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
There was a client who would hired Heidi Klume, the model,
to be there like spokesperson in this client ensured her
legs yes, for two point two million dollars, and the
client noted that one leg was valued slightly less due
to a small scar, so that leg, that leg they

(31:24):
paid lass.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Oh my god, blitz Hi, who's this Donnie? Donnie? Do
you have specialized or no specialized insurance for a type
of business?

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Well, when I had my window cleaning company, Higher Eyes
window Cleaning, you have to have a five million dollar umbrella.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
Inky, somebody died.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Because you were you like you were doing the high
rise buildings. You were way up there, way out there.
A five million dollar umbrella policy.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Yeah, I get it.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Wow, all right, I appreciate call. Thank you so much. Uh,
we got it. Who says, I drive a dump truck
and you would not believe the insurance my boss has
to have on these trucks. Is that like crush insurance
in case someone's in the back of the dump truck?

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Yeah, Mary says some parts of Florida they have to
pay FEMA for insurance in addition to their regular insurance.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Okay, Matt says, my band has to carry insurance just
in case someone gets hurt at our show. So it's
not just it's not just where you're playing, it's the
band actually, which I guess goes in line with back
when I was dejaying, having to carry insurance in case
someone you know, dance too hard or trips over a
court and they come after the location and you you

(32:34):
made me dance too hard. Sometime I'm gonna assue you
because I strained my back ninety nine seven. Oh, you've
got one specialize insurance. What's out there. I don't know
how I feel about this, maybe because I've never or
my family has never hidden or lost a vast amount

(32:56):
of money. But I'm kind of with you, Kelly on
the whole fine Keeper's thing. There's a construction worker in
Belgium and he was working on a building renovation and
his job was to go jackhammer this particular area, break
up the concrete and get things ready to be dug
up and renovate. Well, he struck gold literally as he

(33:18):
was jackhammering and digging, he found some gold coins and
they were all lined up in a row, thousands of
gold coins and about forty gold bars. Like when you're
thinking Fort Knox gold bars. These are big old gold bars.
Discovery was worth about ten million dollars. Worker who discovered it,

(33:40):
an eighteen year old part time student who was working
full time to pay for school going part time. Here's
the deal, doesn't get to keep it, and the circumstances
of the gold are a mystery. No one knows. Authorities
say they're trying to track down whose gold it was.
Was there any criminal? Was this some sort of like

(34:02):
gang related money, mafia related money, drug related money. Now
the building site was a former brewery, and these gold
pieces actually date back to like the nineteen sixties. It's
not like ancient gold bouyon or anything like that. So
they're saying it's pretty possible they might be able to
find out whose it is. I mean the nineteen sixties. Yeah,

(34:23):
you're talking sixty years ago. Whatever is the money legal? Now?
If it is, they say the construction worker may be
able to keep a finder's feet.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
Why, well, if you think about it, he doesn't own
the land. He was hired to work the land. It's
not like he's some private individual on his own property
digging up gold bars. True, he was employed by a
company working for whoever, owned this land, So who I
would say, whoever owns the land should give this kid
some money.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Well what if the person who owned the land bought it,
you know, forty years ago, bought it in the eighties.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Yeah, then.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
What if you can't find the owner of the goal?
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Yeah, where does it go now?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
The eighteen year old did admit he did consider keeping
the money. He said it's just simply too much. He
said it was a few thousand euros. I might have
kept it he has, but ten million. You simply can't
hide that.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Yeah, he's rights, he did the right thing. But I
do think he should be given something once it's all
sorted out.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
I say, there's a statute of limitation. You got six
months to find the owner. If not, I find his keepers,
I dug it up.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
I think they do that with wallets when you turn
them into the police station. If there's money in it,
it's like thirty or sixty days or something like that.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
If you just find if you find a bag of cash,
you know you're supposed to turn it in and then
if nobody claims it, then you get to keep it.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
But that's not that's not necessarily on private property. That's
the difference area.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Yeah, you know, if I'm digging, I'm at work and
I find ten million dollars, it's it's I'm really gonna
hope that the owner of the eight million dollars steps forward,
because I can't wait to give them back their five
million dollars.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
It's gonna be I mean, why did you hide three million?

Speaker 1 (36:16):
I don't understand. It's really strange. Why you would hide
a million dollars in the ground. I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
I would you should have put a little back. Yes,
here's what I look.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
I turned it in, look at it. But you get
you keep this over here?

Speaker 1 (36:28):
There's yeah, there's a lot. There's no way, come on,
get this big.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Who hides five hundred thousand dollars?

Speaker 1 (36:34):
I don't know. That's really strange. It seems like a
waste to bury a dollar. I don't know why you would. Whatever.
Have you back to school? I know? Uh I mentioned
my boys went back to school this week. I know
some schools went back last week. We've got a couple
of schools in the air that are that are starting
next week. And uh I saw this hypothetical put on

(36:57):
the internet. I wanted to bring it up because it's
thinking about it is just funny to me. The hypothetical
is you're in a classroom, your typical classroom. Yeah, you know,
the forty five feet by twenty feet. There's nothing in
the classroom. It's an empty classroom, and you're in the

(37:17):
dead center of the classroom. How many kindergarteners could you
beat up? Now? Okay, here's the scenario.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
I feel like I could beat up seventies kindergarteners more
than I could twenty twenty six kindergarteners.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Okay, well, here's the scenario. No weapons, No weapons. You've
got five kindergarteners coming at you from the door. They
come into the room, five at a time, every thirty seconds.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Okay, all right, And if you lay them out on
the ground and they get back up, they're still active.
They can still come back toward you.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
If they're knocked out cold, basically they disappear.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
Okay. If they get back up, then.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
They can continue attacking you. Yes, five at a time,
thirty second intervals, no weapon. How many kindergarteners are you
beating up?

Speaker 3 (38:13):
I'm trying to think. I think I could start out strong,
like I might be able to get through the first
couple of groups. But I tire quickly and a kindergartener doesn't.
Oh yeah, So there's where the differential lies.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
And that's kind of the big argument is the dog
pile effects. How many is it going to take before
there's enough kindergarteners that are gonna just dog pile on
top of you? Yeah, and that is that is.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
What do you think.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
I'm taking out a lot of kindergarteners.

Speaker 5 (38:47):
Remember the debate about one hundred men versus the Silverback gorilla.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Yeah, yeah, that's what's happening.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
That's what's happening.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
Yeah, taking them all out.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
Hey, you're the silver Back guerrilla and you're taking out
all the kindergarteners.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
I'm sorry, but yes.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Yeah, not me. I can see me getting tired after
about eight to ten.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
That would be my only concern. And thank you, we're
both We have both inhaled our fair share of things
legal and illegal, and eventually you're going to run out
of breath.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
So how long does this school on? I mean, how many?
How many sets of falls long.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
As you go? That's that's the question.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
How long can you go?

Speaker 1 (39:24):
How many kindergarteners do you think.

Speaker 5 (39:25):
I mean, if it's like endless, you know, then eventually, yeah,
you're gonna findly.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
But do you think a hundred you're taking care of?

Speaker 1 (39:32):
Definitely, carry asks a valid question. That's the valid question.
Boys or girls? Are both? I'm saying both.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
Oh all right, Now here's what I was referring to
is if you've seen an elementary school picture from the
sixties or seventies, those kids were skinny. We've got some
beefy children now, beefy chill.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
That was my question. What is the average kindergarten a
weigh thirty pounds? I don't know how much do you
weigh a five pounds? I guess because me this is
my scenario is whichever is the smallest of the five
of the group is the one I'm grabbing first, and
you're my personal baseball bat. Oh so you can use

(40:13):
a kid as a web Why not? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
You said no weapons?

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Yeah, no weapons in the room, no extra help.

Speaker 5 (40:20):
The average American five year old weighs forty pounds.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Forty pounds, Okay, what.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Are they weighing sixty five?

Speaker 1 (40:27):
I'm I'm yeah, I'm definitely I'm definitely chucking a few. Yeah,
I'm making it through many many rounds. Garrett says, I'm
wrecking at least seventy five okay, four one zero one
says I could take at least three hundred. See, I'm
I'm with you. It's gonna be it's gonna be way
up there. You're gonna keep tossing.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Of this pile. Yeah, pile's just gonna grow.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
Because because they got soft heads, you throw them against
the wall, they're knocked out cold.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
This is really morbid, I know, but.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
I read when I heard that question, I was like, oh,
I want to talk about this. I'm making it through
many many rounds. Uh, let's see. Is it to the death,
because that makes a difference. Not just put them to sleep. Yes,

(41:20):
once they're once they're sawing logs, then they just disappear
and they're gone.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Yeah. See this is what I was thinking.

Speaker 5 (41:25):
Frank says, these little kids today now are so soft.
You can hurt their feelings, make cry, You definitely take
out a lot. I was like, it's not necessarily even that,
it's just that they're they're gonna be slow and lazy.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
I think, yeah, but they're also all kinds of jacked
up on mountain dew. So these kids are on a
sugar high.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
How coordinated.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
And these kids also have ADHD. They're they're coming at
you with that extra ADHD strength, Like they're how coordinated
our five year olds, that's the other thing.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
Not very you're kind of slow with it too.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
Yeah, yeah, let's see. Oh, Garrett says, I'm taking at
least seventy five by the way, I work at a daycare.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
He's already sized.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
Yeah, he's thought about this, he already planned out this,
he's loving this conversation. He goes, he goes one more question,
and I'm kicking everyone's ass. That's all there is.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
Tory's right, she says, they bite, So there is that,
and they'll get your low. We'll get you.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
They'll get you a low they could.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Yeah, they're gonna get a chance to win.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Well, here's the thing. If you're if you're lunging at
one and another one comes from behind, especially if you have.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Some survivors from the previous round, I mean, you're going
to be getting surrounded at some point by little kids.
So they're gonna be able to get out and get
at you.

Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah. But even let's say there's let's say there's seven
of them, let's say two survive the previous assault, and
five more come in. You know, royal rumble.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
Style, you've got seven.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
I'm still taking on seven kindergarteners.

Speaker 5 (42:58):
I mean, how hard is it to knock out a
kindergarten with a one punch?

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (43:04):
See it's going to, yeah, knockdown punch.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
You're getting knocked out, yeah, easily.

Speaker 5 (43:09):
So you got to make one punch every six seconds, basically.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
I mean, Danielle's got a valid point. How many times
can you throw fifty pounds against the wall. I mean,
if you've ever used like a medicine ball or anything.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
Oh yeah, it's not.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
You can't even pick up a forty pound bag of salt.
I mean you're so that's it. Yeah, lasting, let's face it.
The first round comes in and I'm just like, I
surrender white flag already.

Speaker 5 (43:34):
You're waiting to You're looking for the smallest kid to
be the one you're gonna grab. He's a west Wing right, Yeah, yeah,
you know you're looking for that little twenty pound girl.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
But also, yeah, as you're that's still a lot, that's
still a lot of momentum.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Yeah, but you can take out more than one with that.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
You can you know, Spence's forehead to the nuts and
you're done. And He's right, how many foreheads are you
taking to the jump?

Speaker 1 (43:58):
That's true, I just don't you're going to get to it.
I'm putting my foot out. Yeah, when you're.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
Kicking one the others is the head button?

Speaker 5 (44:05):
Your your ned's kicking one while I'm punching another and another.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Yeah, I'm definitely I'm gripping. I'm gripping two by the
hair and just.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Together.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
Yeah, getting too detailed for my comfort.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
It's morbid. This is very, very morbid.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
Let's see. Donnie says, I'm not even kidding. I literally
think I could take out every kindergarten on the planet
five at a time.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
You know, I think you guys are overestimating what's happening here,
what your strength is going to be here.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Yes, Amy, I'm sorry you jumped in the middle of
this conversation. This is not a conversation. You just want
to turn on the radio. You're smashing kindergartener's heads together
like melons? What feel free to shoot the text eight
hundred nine ninety seven. Oh, how many kindergarteners are you
taking out? Five at a time? They're coming into a room,

(44:57):
no weapons, empty classroom. It's just like the octagon, the
squared circle, and you're in there.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Chris Johnson just said, you guys, that's it. That was
his text.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
That's the whole text. Eight. It's sever of the blitz.

Speaker 4 (45:14):
Now, all right, unless the three things you need to
know before you go.

Speaker 3 (45:20):
Wes Wexner has stepped down as chair of the Ohio
State University Wexner Medical Board. He hasn't attended a board
meeting in over a year, mid all the questions over
his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Wexner will stay on as
chair emeritus, but will no longer be a voting member.
He's expected to be replaced by CEO of m I Homes,
Robert Schottenstein. Meantime, Ohio State students and professors have submitted

(45:40):
to the university administration multiple requests to remove Wexner's name
from the Medical Center, the Wexner Center for the Arts,
and other facilities, and yesterday the university said it continues
to consider those requests well. Great news for the five
thousand sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln after nine months
spent almost entire at without a port stop they carry

(46:02):
her as finally left the Middle East for San Diego.
This is a thirteen thousand mile trip and could take
about five weeks to get back to San Diego. But
of course the tour there, The Lincoln's Tour drew some
criticism because of reports of supply shortages, plumbing problems, worsening

(46:23):
mental health among the crew, people jumping overboard, et cetera.
So the japan based at USS George Washington, has moved
in to take the Lincoln's place.

Speaker 1 (46:32):
Can't they get to land somewhere and jump on a
plane fly them back. Yeah, that's You've got big old
military planes that carry a whole bunch of people.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
Oh, I mean just let them off, go go somewhere
that's like inhabited. They can get a hot shower, a
few good meals under their belts, and flying.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
I'm home.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
I like that. I like that idea.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
Well.

Speaker 3 (46:59):
Back in June of twenty twenty four, so a little
more than two years ago, at a place called Oaks
Amusement Park in Oregon, twenty eight people riding the Atmosphere
ride froze as they were upside down. The ride just froze,
and it was about fifty feet in the air. The
riders hung there for twenty five minutes, upside down, screaming, vomiting, crying,

(47:25):
passing out. This was a bad situation. Then the ride
was finally able to be lowered to the ground. So
nine people have sued over this incident. Again, there were
twenty eight people on the ride. Only nine have sued.
Seven settled out of court, but two of the teenagers
took it before a judge to a jury trial, and
they were each awarded two hundred and seventy five thousand

(47:47):
dollars each. They were ages thirteen and fourteen at the
time of the incident, and they say that it caused
lasting physical issues and PTSD and they were not willing
to settle out of court, and they're going to get
paid for it. They say right now that the other
miners who were on the ride at the time can
still sue. But if you were an adult, the statute

(48:09):
of limitations as frong. Oh, so you missed your opportunity.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
But now, I've never been stuck upside down for twenty
five minutes before, and I'm not questioning you know that
they deserve you know, obviously something went awry, what lasting
physical issues do you have and what PTSD do you have?
Like you can no longer do you can no longer

(48:33):
do a handstand because you're scared of being upside down.

Speaker 3 (48:36):
I would have PTS. I would have night terrors after that.
Hanging upside down fifty feet in the air for twenty
five minutes, that is terrifying. You have to grant them
at least a small amount of PTSD. Right, Maybe it's
not two hundred and seventy five thousand dollars worth in
your opinion. I think it might be. But you've brought
roller coasters first.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Never go on another roller coaster the rest of my life.
What you do, I'm scared of. It'll get stuck.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
But when you are really in fear for your life,
legitimately think that you are going to die for twenty
five minutes, that's a long time to be in terror.

Speaker 5 (49:14):
That would be scary as hell. Hanging upside down. You
don't into your waiting, you don't know what's.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Going to happen.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Okay, twenty five minutes, annoying, painful, with all the blood
rushing your head, uncomfortable, absolutely feared for my life.

Speaker 5 (49:30):
No, No, there's obviously some malfunction going on.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
What if now, all of a sudden the things open.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
Yeah, that's home. You have to be thinking that way.
I would be all right, I'm worst case scenario in
this whole thing for twenty five minutes.

Speaker 7 (49:44):
I'd like that.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Oh, not on a if I got stuck on the
you know, the mean streak or whatever. It's your point.
I'm not I'm not thinking I'm dying. I'm not happy
about it, don't get me wrong.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
But PTSD Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Back at the beginning of August, Nora and I went
down to Cincinnati, and as we do pretty much anytime
we go out, we get in the car and usually
the first thing Nora says to me is, do you
want me to find parking? Gosher go on like parkways
or whatever and see the parking lots or the parking structures,
because usually get it for cheaper than just pulling up
to a parking structure will look charge you like twenty

(50:26):
bucks or whatever. You can get it for a little
bit of a discount of rate, So we always pre
favorite parking. Well. On Wednesday or Tuesday, I opened up
the mail and I had a letter from the parking
structure in Cincinnati, and it had a picture on my
license plate and it said you entered it this time,
but you did not exit at this time, so you

(50:47):
owed it twenty dollars and a sixty five dollars administration
fee or fine or whatever. So it was like an
eighty five dollars bill that showed up in the mail.
And I showed it to Nora, and I said, what
we do in Cincinnati? Wait, didn't we pay? And she goes, no,
I paid for parking and I said, oh, okay. She goes,
I'll take care of it. So I'm cooking dinner yesterday

(51:08):
and she plops down on the couch and she jumps
on the website that is on the piece of paper
and it says if you have a dispute, go here.
So she goes to the website and she's trying to
find the dispute button on the drop down menu. There's
no dispute button whatsoever. So she goes to search and
she searches the term dispute on the website. You need

(51:30):
to contact customer service. Try and call. She calls. They
direct her to the website again to the chat to
talk with someone. The chat directs her to the email
where she has to send in confirmation that she paid.
So sure enough, she pulls up the receipt on her phone,
which shows the time of entrance and the time we left.

(51:53):
And more importantly, there was some severe weather that day
in Cincinnati, so try wasn't moving. The show we were
at was delayed. I believe it was just a big
hot mess. So Norah emails customer service and says, I
prepaid for parking through park whiz see attached because she
attached the picture of the receipt, late getting to the

(52:16):
car due to severe storms and a tornado watch in
the area this day, Please remove fees. She gets response, I, Nora,
thank you for reaching out to us and providing that image.
I'd be happy to look into this for you to
ensure I provide the most accurate assistance regarding the change
or inquiry. Could you please provide a few more details. Specifically,
could you share the license plate number associated with the

(52:38):
vehicle and the approximate date of the visit. Once I
have this information, I will be able to review details
of your account and guide you towards the best solution. Well,
if you look at the receipt we send you, and
by the way, the picture you sent us of my
license plate, knowing we didn't leave on time. You already
have our license plate, and you already have the date

(52:58):
of the visit. It's all right there, so Nora replies,
it's all on the receipt I sent you. Please review it.
So then she gets a response back, Hi, Norah, I
apologize for the oversight. Thank you for pointing that out.
I have carefully reviewed the receipt provided. I understand you're
looking for a refund. Could you please confirm the amount
of your requestings so we can review your case properly.

(53:20):
Nora replies, I'm not looking for a refund. I'm looking
for the parking notice of eighty dollars to be removed.
I prepaid for parking already, so I don't need to
have an unpaid parking ticket out there or parking fine.
She gets a response from customer Service. Hi, Nora, thank
you for clarifying that you're looking to contest the parking

(53:41):
notice rather than request a refund. I understand how frustrating
it is to receive a notice when you believe you've
already prepaid for your session. To further your as, sister,
I need to confirm the license plate number the parking
location in the day and time your visit, and this
information is necessary for your team to investigate discrepancy, because
you please provide these details for me.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Now, she is in a hell there.

Speaker 1 (54:03):
Oh oh, my co replies, Hey, lady, all the informations
right there on everything I sent you. What more do
you need. She finally gets a response, Hey there, Nora,
not hi, Norah, That's what I said. Hey there, Nora,

(54:28):
thank you for your patience while we reviewed dispute. The
parking notice has been closed. No further action is needed.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
Escalate the tone.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
Good lord, I mean, come on, so we're debating us.
Is this AI or a stupid person? I think the
first five emails for AI, and then finally, hey there, Nora,
it's been taken human.

Speaker 3 (54:53):
It was escalated to a human being, so the AI
knew I got to get a real person to handle this.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
And then they step in. They read what was all said,
and then they went oh.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
They went through the six emails, which could have been
handled in one email with a human.

Speaker 3 (55:09):
Was this a city owned parking garage or a privately
owned parking You know, I'm.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Not sure that's a that's a valid question. Way Nora
did say we are no longer using was it metro parking?

Speaker 4 (55:25):
Oh? Metropolis?

Speaker 3 (55:27):
Oh they've got those here in town, yes, Metropolis parking garages. Yep,
they've got them downtown or at least one never using
them again, and they're going to find it.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
But yeah, I think it's privately owned. Yeah, they owned
parking garages all around and stuff.

Speaker 3 (55:39):
I feel like if you don't pay their little notice
and it's not any legal, they don't have any legal.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
Unless they send you to collections. I think they can
send you to.

Speaker 3 (55:49):
Collection, probably, Yeah, I don't. It's not a legal traffic citation, right,
it's just a fine.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
And I'm sure they've got find print somewhere that says
we can find you if you don't leave on time,
because I guess you were supposed to be off by
eleven pm, but the show we were at didn't start
till late because of everything else going on.

Speaker 5 (56:10):
How long did this whole process of her interacting take
you see, remember, Oh, definitely longer than that, Yeah, definitely
longer than I was just wonder what would it have
taken longer to sit on hold and wait for a
real person.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
Well, but there was no there was no one to
get a hold of that's the thing, go online, she tried.
They wouldn't do it because they want everything to hand
be handled. Hey, I know, right, So yeah, just be leary.
You're gonna be dealing with AI if you work with Metropolis.

Speaker 6 (56:41):
Not so breaking news. The news already broke. We're trying
to put it back together.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Let's see here. Excuse me. Our first story comes to
us from down south. Yes, we have ourselves at w TF.

Speaker 7 (56:57):
What that?

Speaker 1 (56:58):
Florida. A thirty year old man in Florida by the
name of Omar Solomon was arrested for speeding on the
interstate earlier this month. And yeah, he was. He was
flying man. He was going one hundred and seventeen miles
per hour in a seventy mile an hour zone. And
this is two forty five PM, this middle of the afternoon.
Not like this man was drunk or anything. He was
pulled over and he did try to explain himself to

(57:20):
the deputies as to why he was going what fifty
miles an hour over the speed limit. Basically that's because
he really had to use the bathroom. Oh, not guilty,
And we've all been there. Yes, when you got to go,
you gotta go now. I also understand this man's explanation
in that he was flying to try and get to

(57:41):
the Buckies' bathroom because BUCkies is known for really clean,
nice bathrooms.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
That's what I hear. Never had the pleasure.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
And I have been on you know, seventy South or
you know, heading down to or seventy five north back
to Detroit, and you get in some of these areas
where that little corner marathon is the only thing available,
I'm like, no, no, I'm waiting for the pilot or
I'm waiting for the flying jay, I'm waiting for that
truck stop because they take a little more concernicus of

(58:12):
their bathrooms than that corner marathon. So I get it.
You want a clean bathroom, so you're driving as fast
as possible to get to the bathroom. The only problem
with the argument is the closest BUCkies was about sixty
one miles away in Daytona Beach.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
Okay, now, to me, we have to go that bad.
If you were willing to drive sixty one mile.

Speaker 1 (58:36):
That's a bit of a stretch. He was charged with
reckless driving and super speeding. The Sheriff's office did come
out and say, well, we all love the clean bathroom
and the variety of tasty snacks and bugies. If you're
gonna use that as an excuse for speeding, you should
probably pick one that's a little bit closer to you.
There's no BUCkies within sixty miles. Don't use that that's
your excuse. Speaking of bathrooms, our second story, it takes

(59:00):
us to Wakshaw, Wisconsin, where a man walks into a mire.
It goes directly to the bathroom where another man is
using the restroom, and that is when the man who
walks in pulls out a knife. He holds the man
hostage in the bathroom. He actually calls the police letting

(59:21):
him know, Hey, I'm in the Meyer bathroom in Waukeshaw,
holding this man hostage in the bathroom. If you try
an attempt to come into the bathroom, I'm going to
kill this man. Of course, the police take this very seriously.
The hostage holder says, I want to speak to a
hostage negotiator right now, and don't try anything funny. So

(59:44):
the hostage negotiator gets on the line, and sure enough,
this man demanded multiple hypnotists to come into the bathroom. Okay,
Apparently through the nine to one one call. The dispatcher
could hear twenty one year old Anthony Leman, the gentleman
who walked into the bathroom holding a fifty nine year

(01:00:04):
old man at knife at knife point, demanding for him
to get down on the ground. At some point, the
Anthony Leman, the hostage shoulder, demanded that the fifty nine
year old take the glue he had and glue his
hands to the floor. I guess that's his way of,
you know, binding him. He didn't have rope or anything

(01:00:26):
to tie his hands up with, so he just wanted
him to glue his hands to the floor. Now, the
fifty nine year old refused to glue his hands to
the floor, and I guess Anthony Leman got a little
bit upset and turned his back, and that is when
he had a window. So the man the fifty nine
year old jumps up with. This guy was either a

(01:00:48):
father or a grandfather, because reports say he attacked Anthony
with his belt. So he did the flu like. He
got his belt out quick and started hitting Anthony with it.
He was able to escape the bathroom, and that is
when police did enter the bathroom and the mister Lehman,

(01:01:13):
the twenty one year old was able to get out,
worked his way around the police, pushed his way out
of the bathroom, and that is when a foot pursuit
continued through the Meyer.

Speaker 5 (01:01:23):
This guy seriously out the bathroom door right and there's
multiple police.

Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
I guess he was able to work his way out.
So now you've got a foot race through the aisles
of Meyer where then mister Leman did pull out the
knife he had and police were over it. So they
shot mister Lehman. They shot three times and he's gonna
be okay. However, mister Lemon is now missing a thumb.

(01:01:51):
Oh they shot his thumb off. Well, that's what you
can't be charging police with a knife. They're gonna shoot
at you and there's a chance that you're gonna lose
an appendage.

Speaker 3 (01:02:00):
Does it obliterate the thumb or was there a thumb
laying around?

Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
You know, it doesn't say he was taken to the
hospital with critical injuries.

Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
It's pretty bloody, I.

Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
Would have to assume. So, yeah, if you're blowing off
your thumb at the joint, that's going to cause a
bit of a mess. Uh. When taken to the hospital,
mister Lehman only had one question for the police. Was
I on the news?

Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Yeah, he's going to be spending a little time behind bars,
as he was charged with first degree reckless injury, false imprisonment,
making terrorist threats, and three counts a second degree reckless
and dangering safety. Don't go holding people hostage in a
myer bathroom. That's just a bad idea that you're not
so breaking news.

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
It's the Morning Blitz.

Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
It's time rock and rumble, Kelly Varsus Goose the Blitz.

gonna win and someone's gonna lose.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
We should make the two people go with each other.

Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
That might be awkward.

Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
New friends, there you are?

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
It would be awkward. Yeah, not to mention, I could
imagine some sort of legal trouble with that when someone
gets hurt or one person murders the other and then
oh yeah, we're on. We end up on it. We
end up on the Netflix documentary The Louder Than Life Murder.
They went Louder than Life. Only one of them came back.
I'm just sitting there clipping on the microphone. I don't

(01:04:06):
know if Thick said we should make them go together.
We got a body missing. I don't know what happens.
All right, let's get ourselves a couple of contestants here,

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):

Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
Okay, sure, Adam, you're the best.

Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
You're the best, You're the best.

Speaker 2 (01:04:55):

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):

But now it's Kelly Goose. All right, you're with me Kelly?
So uh, Adam, Oh thanks, Kelly. Adam's going with Kelly.
Kelly's going with Goose. It's just gonna be very confusing
the whole game. All Right, you guys, hang on while

(01:05:20):
we play thick. What are we playing today?

Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
All right? We are doing movie cast.

Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
I will name an actor and one of you, whoever's going,
it's their turn. You will tell me what the movie is.
If you are wrong, we will go to the other person.
I will name another actor in the movie cast, and
we will continue to back back and for okay, all right,
and then in each movie will change who goes first?

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
So who's going first?

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
This time?

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
I am you're going first? All right?

Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
I called it. I've always asked you and you've always
won the past few. I'm just calling it the executive
decision made. All right, you ready? Yes, Cameron Diaz something
about Mary.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Jeez, what other Cameron Diaz movie?

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):

Night and Day with the Tom Cruise. Yeah, yeah, I
guess that was Charlie's angels, both of them.

Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
Yeah, she's been in a few.

Speaker 2 (01:06:20):
All right, Kelly, Tom Hanks. That's a little more open,

That one's called. Oh no, no, there's no You can't
do that. You have to give me five minutes. Okay,
I'm picturing it and Rosie O'Donnell and Madonna. That's where

(01:07:10):
they have to give any more names, do I let's
see here we've got.

Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
Well, I don't know. We never said there was a limit.

Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
I can't think of the name of it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Are you kidding?

Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
I'm not kidding. Would I care about that?

Speaker 2 (01:07:27):
Yes, of course you would, so you give.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
I give.

Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
She was so mad she caught an attitude with you.
I'm not kidding. I know what I would tell you.

Speaker 5 (01:07:43):
Ahole, I'd say, ah.

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
I heard it was there.

Speaker 5 (01:07:50):

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):

the movie you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:08:17):
Well, don't give any clhints you might.

Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
It's a good movie too, it is.

Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
But it's a good movie like something. Is it the Something?

Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Yeah? It starts with the no. It doesn't know it doesn't, No,
it doesn't never mind, Christopher Walking, give you another.

Speaker 3 (01:08:39):
I don't know it.

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):

Speaker 3 (01:08:45):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
It's got ibm Stock and then Babe Ruth baseball cards.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
I cannot be more emphatic when I say I don't
watch movies. I could not be more emphatic about that.
But it's okay, I should.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
Know these you see you all the movies? No, Oh,
you never saw black? All right, Kelly, You're first this time.

Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
She doesn't watch movies. She was so emphatic about I'm.

Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
So emphatic about it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
John Travolta.

Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
I mean, I'm gonna have to go with my favorite,
Staying Alive.

Speaker 2 (01:09:23):
Uh, Goose.

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
Andy McDowell, Oh God, John Travolta and Andy McDowell. What
movie were they in together? Anny McDowell and John Travolta
were in Phenomenon?

Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
H Kelly William Hurt.

Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
I mean I can think of is Michael.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
I wouldn't have.

Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
It's not going to be a shutout. That's all I
care about. No, Adam. I am trying to.

Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
Wait for you though, all right, Goose. Julie Roberts.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
Mystic Pizza.

Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
I love that movie.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
Denzel Washington, Oh, I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (01:10:22):
It's a good one. It's a book turned to a movie.
Great movie by John Grisham.

Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
Such a oh by John Grisham. Pelican breathe, I did I.

Speaker 1 (01:10:33):
Gave it to him?

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Okay, I need your hints, all right, uh Goose.

Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Sharon Kelly, Oh, Kelly Sharon Stone.

Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
Sharon Stone was in and starring Sharon Stone in Sharon Stone. Oh,
what's that one where everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
Is she don't give don't guess details.

Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
Sharon Stone's in the movie. I don't know any Sharon
Stone movies. Oh no, no, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Gene Hackman, Gene Hackman and Sharon Ston.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
See. I was thinking Gene Hackman and and uh Geena
Davis action movie. But if it's Sharon Stone, I thought
you were gonna go Michael Douglas and I was gonna
say basic instinct. But if Gene, that's what I was
trying to think of, agast.

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
But with Gene Hackman, no clue, Kelly Russell Crowe. This
this cast is insane.

Speaker 3 (01:11:47):
Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe in uh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
Leonardo DiCaprio, Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the
Fourth Place you got if you this doesn't do it
on me? What's eating Gilbert Grape now?

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
Quicken the Dead?

Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
Oh yeah, okay, God, what a great movie. I remember that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
That was a good movie.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Man. I never saw it, but I know of it. Yeah, okay,
all right, okay, we're about down in here.

Speaker 2 (01:12:26):
Well let's stick with that guy, Leonardo DiCaprio, who's first here?

Speaker 5 (01:12:30):
Leonardo DiCaprio, my favorite inception, Jack Nicholson.

Speaker 3 (01:12:39):
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson star in See.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
I don't know, do I need to give another.

Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
Let's see? Uh? Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin Uh uh the
heavy set guy from Liar Liar, the black guy. Uh?
Also who else is in it? Uh? Anyways? This is
that imparted Matt Damon yeat Dale. I forgot about Damon
Martin Sheen.

Speaker 5 (01:13:15):
Yes, in another huge cast and.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
No matter what, we back it baby.

Speaker 7 (01:13:26):
Every time.

Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
Everybody hand they do what they Hey Kelly, Yeah, yes, Kelly,

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Yeah, he hung up behind you already, Kelly Butcher, he's
not even there anymore. He gave up on the third one.
He's like, yeah, this isn't working out, so he's gone.

Speaker 7 (01:14:35):
Kelly.

Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
You hang on. We're gonna get you those tickets. Congratulations.

Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
Now all right, the three things you need to know
before you go.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Three people are now facing aggravated murder charges in the
shooting death of fifty five year old Tamila Dutcher and
Delaware Couty. Her eighteen year old daughter, Brianna Dutcher, along
with Christian Evans and did Chanius Paine, have been indicted.
Investigator say Dutcher plotted the shooting with Evans, her boyfriend,
with help from his room eight pain. Federal drug agents
are now helping investigate how Hayden Pantier died in a

(01:15:05):
South Carolina apartment last week. The dea IS joined the
local police in Greenville County Cordner Coroner in the case
of her death, which followed an apparent cardiac arrest after
a possible overdose corneated a nine one one called. No
cause of death has been confirmed, and toxicology results could
take mod Sources say narcan was found at the scene. Nutrigina,

(01:15:26):
by the way, has come out and apologized for how
they handled the situation ten years ago when they did
not re sign her to a contract. Okay, don't Yeah,
it is sort of hot, don't try it. It doesn't feel pad.

Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
Your PR efforts of someone died ten years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
Come on, Well, everybody's canceling them because ten years ago
they didn't re sign Hayden Pantier after she spoke during
a talk show about her postpartum depression. They they did
not re sign her to another contract, and now that
she's dead, everybody wants to cancel them.

Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
Here's the thing. If you're going to boycott them for,
then boycott them the past ten years.

Speaker 3 (01:16:08):
They should have been boycotting right ten years. But anyway,
there's nothing neut Regina could have said that would have
made anybody feel better about this. They basically apologized and
said they understand that they made her feel unsupported during
that time. And uh yeah, So I think that they're
going to be donating to a community health organization that

(01:16:32):
deals with postparty or whatever, you know, the typical PR thing.
So a joint practice involving the Dallas Cowboys in New
Orleans Saints has cost the teams a combined one million dollars.
The NFL has find Dallas and New Orleans five hundred
thousand dollars each. After multiple fights broke out during Tuesday
session in California. One player reportedly slammed the ground, punches

(01:16:52):
were thrown, forcing play to be stopped several times. Both
head coaches say they talked about ending this session early,
but that ultimately decided just let let's let things play out.
See what happens.

Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
It's funny you said someone had got slammed to the
ground because nine seven one seven text in and said
the fight with Cowboys and Saints. The main guy doing
the damages, uh to Cowboys players was Scott Steiner's son. Yes,
the wrestler Scott Steiner. Because his son was so what
if he's the one who slam dude?

Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
He it was a full soupplex.

Speaker 5 (01:17:28):
Oh yeah, I mean picked him up and and it's
like that was I mean that's.

Speaker 1 (01:17:32):
A bit much.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
Yeah, you know, I like this stuff. And it happens that.

Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
It just happened yesterday at Giants and Dolphins. It happened
a huge bro.

Speaker 5 (01:17:40):
It happened with the Browns last week and you know,
you want that stuff to happen. But my favorite part
of this was there's a Buck eye on the Saints.
Chris o'lave the wide receiver, and there's a new buck
eye in Dallas. Caleb Downs Well, Downs was covering Lavas.

Speaker 1 (01:17:55):
It was great.

Speaker 5 (01:17:55):
I'm just focused on these two buck guys, and and
Chris caught a pass on him and he is Caleb
was upset.

Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
Two plays later, Caleb intercepted in front of him.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
It was great.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
Just how much of these two Buckeyes go at it.

Speaker 3 (01:18:06):
You know, why do they do the joint practices? Are
they like scrimmages?

Speaker 1 (01:18:09):
I yeah, light scrimmages.

Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
Yeah, dude, it's full on.

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
I mean, well I know that. I'm just saying it's
not a it's not a preseason game. No, it's just
against another team.

Speaker 5 (01:18:19):
Right, And they usually do these scrimmages right before they
play each other in a preseason game, which is why
I always laugh when people are like, well, they need
to get the starters in there longer, and I'm like, dude,
he just took eighty.

Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
Snaps and these two scrimmages the day before this game. Yeah, no,
they don't preseing game means nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:18:35):
All right, those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
Ninety ninety seven. Oh, play a little round of first
time Fridays. Are you doing something for the first time
this weekend that you've never done before? Because I learned
a little something something, but I did not know. Tomorrow night,
my buddy Scott's coming to town and we're doing a
little I guess what you can call bachelor party, as

(01:18:59):
today marks two weeks, fourteen days from the day that
Nora and I are getting married, and last weekend she
was up in Detroit hanging out with her friends. And
so tomorrow buddy Scott's coming to town and Thick, you're
gonna come with us? Yeah, nothing crazy as of well planned,
nothing crazy. You never know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (01:19:17):
Rre Earlier, you said there's only four of us, and
I'm like, there are only four of them in the
in the hangover, and I mean they ended up with
a tiger in their hotel room, so that belonged to
Mike Dyson, which I'm not a post.

Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
I'm not either, And if anyone can make the hangover happen,
it's you me. Yeah, that's true. But one of the
plans is we're gonna swing by the casino, and I
found out you have never been to the casino here.
Have you been to any casino? I was in the
one in Aruba, okay, but never here. No, how long

(01:19:50):
because you know well known fact I moved here eighteen
months ago or so? How long is Hollywood have been around?
Or Siota Downs?

Speaker 2 (01:19:59):
The cider down? Because yeah, oh side of Downs is
a horse trace the trip.

Speaker 1 (01:20:02):
They have a casino. Yeah, we're going to Hollywood, Yes,
we are, has a huge casino.

Speaker 5 (01:20:07):
I know, Okay, yeah, Hollywood casino. I got it's got
to be fifteen years at least.

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
I think.

Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
Now you're not a big gambler, So it's not like
you're going to be visiting the casino like, uh, nor
did I do?

Speaker 5 (01:20:20):
But to never go, I it just it's just one
of those things. I just you know, I've had a
couple opportunities. I know, we were there's some things we
were supposed to do with the station there that never happened.

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
Yeah, I just couldn't go.

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
But it's a good time.

Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
Yeah, I mean, I'm yeah, I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
They really look forward to do it up.

Speaker 5 (01:20:39):
So I've never bet on a crabs table I've played craps.

Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
I know how to play craps, okay, And that was
always that was something that always.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
Appeared to me. Where did you play crabs?

Speaker 5 (01:20:48):
Well, first off, my grandfather taught me to play craps
when I was a little kid.

Speaker 2 (01:20:51):
Oh okay, yeah, just with friends, you know. But I know,
I know how.

Speaker 5 (01:20:56):
You know what craps is, what you can't roll, what
you have to do to win around crabs. So that's
always appealed to me. I just kind of would like
to get on a craft table.

Speaker 1 (01:21:05):
Okay, well, well we can definitely play some Crabs and
you know you guys, I'll tell you this Crabs does.
Besides Baccarat, Crabs has the best odds to win.

Speaker 5 (01:21:17):
Yeah, I was looking at the table. I'm like, there's
fifteen to one on there. There's eight thirty to one odds.

Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
On this stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
I think when it comes to Crabs, the house advantage
is only at like one point two percent. It's it's
the lowest house advantage of any game.

Speaker 5 (01:21:31):
But I've also played a lot of poker, not in
a casino with chips and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:21:36):
I can play any like seven card stud, five card
stud draw hold them. All that I know how to
play everything.

Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
Okay, well we can definitely uh do that as well.
Blet tell you, who's this? What's up? Terry?

Speaker 7 (01:21:51):
Hey, I used to be a security manager at casino.
I'm telling you. Go into the high rollers. I know
it's a little bit more expensive and hit the machines
closest to the bathrooms.

Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
Okay, pro tip here, I might have to do that.
I might take a couple of spins in the high
roller room, hit the hit the slots closest to the bathroom.

Speaker 7 (01:22:12):
Yeah, the ones over by. I forget what it was.

Speaker 4 (01:22:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:22:17):
I used to see all the slot guys and talk
to them always, and they told me that you're gonna lose,
but there's certain ones you can hit on.

Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
So well, here's the thing though, they do you know, uh,
they just did it not that long ago, because uh,
Nora and I went on only two weeks ago, and
they moved our favorite machine because sometimes they'll rearrange the
casino floor and moved the slot machines around, and they
moved our favorite game. So I'm gonna I'm gonna search out.
I'm at least gonna do a couple of roles at
the slot machine in the high roller room closest to

(01:22:47):
the bathroom. Right, I appreciate the uh the invo. All right, man,
have a great weekend. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:22:55):
By the way, fourteen years ago, that's pretty close Hollywood opened, okay, twelve,
all right, Well I'm excited for a few to go.

Speaker 2 (01:23:03):
And they have seventeen hundred slot machines.

Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
Yeah that's all. I mean. They go all the way
to old school, I see. I like the big, the
big colorful ones with the big screens and the bonus
bonus bonus. Some people like Nora likes the three sevens
chili pepper, pull the handle and that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:23:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
I like the I want with the bonus, and I
want the computer screen, and I want the bonus round
and I want the extra game.

Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
You want to be entertained for sure?

Speaker 1 (01:23:31):
Uh. Eight ninety seven, first time Friday, zero six zero two,
going to the Great Bourbon Affair for the first time.
Have fun, don't visit Tess and Kurs. They're gonna be
out there.

Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
Sign will be out there.

Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
Yeah, yeah, good. Eight ninety nine seven. Oh, Now, let's
see if we can learn you something. Sit up and
pay attention. Yeah, let's learn you some stuff. On a
Friday morning, Send you into the weekend smarter than you
were when you woke up today. Like, did you know
the original Toy Story in nineteen ninety five was the
first feature length movie made entirely with computer imagery, no animation,

(01:24:06):
no drawings, just straight computer work. Did you know there's
been one Tinder match in Antarctica? An American scientist in
Antarctica used Tinder in twenty thirteen and found a female
scientist who was a forty five minute helicopter ride away.
They both swiped right, but she left Antarctica the next

(01:24:27):
day and they oh, no, after they met.

Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Oh, and that's gotta be the worst thing ever.

Speaker 1 (01:24:32):
I finally found someone of the twelve people I had
as an option, I finally met someone. Oh wait, you're leaving.

Speaker 5 (01:24:40):
Do you know we have a couple people listening to
us in Antarctica.

Speaker 1 (01:24:44):
Did not know that?

Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
That's pretty cool? I assume they're scientists.

Speaker 1 (01:24:47):
Yeah, I would think so. Did you know Sony was
producing and selling a Walkman with a cassette player until
twenty ten he could still head out and buy and
now you can buy him again. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
I know, everything that's old isn'tame.

Speaker 1 (01:24:59):
Yeah, but now they're like bluetooth, so they clip onto
your belt, but there's no string from headphone to cassette player.
He's just bluetooth. It's the If you're a sports fan,
this would have been crazy. Patrick Ewing almost went to
the University of North Carolina, where he would have been
teammates with Michael Jordan's. Wow, that would have been crazy,

(01:25:20):
But there was a huge KKK rally during his visit there,
so he went to Georgetown instead. Oh well, that'll definitely detrium.
And finally, if you're heading out this weekend date night,
maybe you're going to a nice restaurant and you're going
to order yourself the Chilean sea bass, which, if you

(01:25:40):
haven't had Chilean sea bass.

Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Jelish on the menu at the casino.

Speaker 4 (01:25:45):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (01:25:45):
Yeah, they were just looking at that menu. It's on.

Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
It's basically fish steak is what it is. It's amazing. However,
it is called Chilean sea bass here in America to
make it more appetizing. So we order it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:59):
Oh is that right?

Speaker 1 (01:25:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
Oh no, what are you gonna You're gonna ruin it?

Speaker 1 (01:26:02):
Well, I just don't want to sit down at a
really nice restaurant and go hi can I have the
Patagonian toothfish. Please.

Speaker 2 (01:26:08):
Patagonian toothfish.

Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
That's its official name, is the Patagonian toothfish.

Speaker 2 (01:26:13):
That is the official name of sea bats.

Speaker 1 (01:26:14):
But restaurants decided, you know what, we're gonna rename this
Chilean sea bats.

Speaker 5 (01:26:19):
That definitely sounds better. Oh, it sounds you know, mouth
watering is the other thing. You feel like they're gonna
get poked in the mouth.

Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
Yeah, I don't want to order a patagony and toothfish.
They bring out your plate with fishes like, guys, let's
go no.

Speaker 3 (01:26:35):
Diner.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
Okay, I'm pretty sure a patagony and toothfish last. Anyways,
learning some stuff on a Friday morning, I had some
of the blots
