Speaker 1 (00:04):
And 84% of Americans want the Save America Act!
Speaker 2 (00:12):
But anybody who follows this process closely knows that we
don't have the votes.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
You tried your best, and you failed miserably.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
The lesson is, never try.
Speaker 5 (00:21):
The proof that you mailed your ballot on or just
before election day, it's not just a postmark, you can
handwrite the date.
Speaker 6 (00:29):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (00:30):
And that.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
This is this horrible thing to say about. They will
remove 25 million people off the road. Ha ha ha
ha ha ha ha! Shut up!
Speaker 6 (00:39):
This is our Signal Storm podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
My friends, you can see it all over social media,
my social media platforms, the revelations. It's it's really rocking Washington.
It's really rocking the Republican Party, the part of the
Republican Party that's conservative and conservatives all over the country.
The admission, the out and out admission that the Republican
Party is actively seeking not to help conservatives win against
(01:33):
socialists in the midterm elections. It was started, of course,
by John Cornyn and his ilk. It was confirmed by
Senator Kennedy of Louisiana. He's not lying, folks, that the Republicans.
refuse to to back conservative Ken Paxton because they would
rather have James Tallarico in the Senate to, you know,
(01:57):
because they're more politically aligned in the Republican Party with
communists and socialists than they are with constitutional conservatives. That's
that's the implication going on. And Senator Kennedy confirmed there
is no money coming for Ken Paxton from the Republicans
to The Republicans only spent over $ 100 million to defeat conservatives.
(02:17):
They don't spend any money to defeat socialists and Marxists.
So that's where we are, folks. There are ramifications to
all of this, of course. The two-party system as something
that's legitimate is being revealed as the sham that it
has been. And it's in your face. You can't deny
(02:37):
it now that there is no such thing as a
competition of ideas anymore in Washington, D.C. It's all government
for the government, of the government, and by the government.
And they really do hate you people. in the United States,
they're voters. And it's now universal among both political parties.
There is no majority in Washington that believes in or
(03:00):
is working toward a government of, by, and for the people,
as was articulated by the first Republican president. So It's
it is quite revelatory. A lot of people are being
slapped upside the head with this reality. The Chris Salcedo
show and the Salcedo Storm podcast has known for years now,
(03:22):
but now it's just starting to sink in. Oh, my gosh.
They really are in it for themselves. We played the
soundbites from Senator Kennedy and yesterday and the soundbite from
Senator Kennedy and also told you the story about John
Cornyn jihad. John or Caliphate Cornyn, however he's referred to.
(03:43):
So what I'd like to illustrate today is how this
all seeps down into the pop culture.
Speaker 7 (03:49):
All right.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
So not standing against leftists has consequences. Now, who would
have thought that a guy like Bill Maher would end
up speaking more truth and common sense about our situation
than so-called Republican luminaries like John Cornyn and John Thune
and all the rest of them, the 24 fake Republicans
(04:13):
who now dominate the United States Senate. Not for long,
they're working very hard to give away their majority, folks,
to lose it to Democrats. And the problem is, folks,
There aren't Democrats to hand off to. The Democrats are
losing their primaries to socialists and to communists. And they're
the ones going to be taking over the United States
(04:35):
Senate and the United States House of Representatives. And, of course,
when communists and socialists, individuals who are committed to the
destruction of the United States of America, are actually in
our government, it's Katie bar the door.
Speaker 8 (04:47):
It's over.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
I mean, frankly. So, kids, here's Bill Maher showing more
common sense than Senator Kennedy, more common sense than John
Cornyn or John Thune or all the rest of those Johns.
Have a listen.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
Trump is so mad at Canada, he renamed Lake Ontario
Lake America. Now I got to buy a new globe again.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It's like the.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Fifth time it's happened.
Speaker 7 (05:21):
And liberals are very pissed at this. They say you
can't just go around renaming things to suit your political agenda.
Just ask any Latinx birthing person.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Equal opportunity offender Bill Maher has turned into. Not bad.
That's when comedy used to be, you know, what it
used to be when they were allowed. So Bill Maher
doing more to speak truth about what's really going on.
And you guys have been monitoring what's been going on
in the WNBA, right? The Women's National Basketball Association. Bunch
(06:01):
of women who don't know what women are. Well, somebody
made a parody about this, folks. And it was really,
really good. So I thought I would play it for
you so you could hear just how good. And basically,
the WNBA, folks. just like most woke idiots, they are
(06:21):
a caricature. And this parody displays just how big a caricature.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Okay, ladies, the committee leading and talking needs to define
what a woman is so we know who can play
in our league.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Can we just make this simple and if you're born
with a vagina, you're a woman?
Speaker 6 (06:34):
Don't be a bigot, Sophie.
Speaker 9 (06:36):
What about all the brave young women with penises?
Speaker 6 (06:38):
She's right. There are lots of brave young girls like
me with penises. You're not a woman, Enos. It's penis.
And what makes me any less of a woman than
you are?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
You think just because I have a beard and big
muscles and hairy balls I'm not as much of a
woman as you are? Well, I'm here to tell all
of you that I can drive just as bad, miss
just as many laps, and be just as dumb as
any of you.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
Hey, we're not dumb. So you can tell me what
the woman is then. Well, no.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Then I'll see you bitches next season. Now if you'll
excuse me, I'm going to go pee all over your
toilet seats.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Of course, the... Enos, penis, Cantor Freedom is the one
of the W, I'm sorry, the NBA player that wants
to join the WNBA to basically show how absurd this
league is. So that parody was absolutely brilliant. Oh, we're
not dumb. Oh, really? Can you tell me what a
(07:26):
woman is?
Speaker 4 (07:27):
No.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Then I'll see you bitches on the court. By the way,
speaking of court. Since Enos Cantor Freedom and Royce White
have been denied entrance into the WNBA, we're hearing that
there's going to be a lawsuit. WNBA is going to
be sued by these males because the league has not
(07:50):
defined itself as a league for women because they can't
define what a woman is. So if you don't let
Enos Cantor Freedom or Royce White in, you're going to
get sued. Oh, this is going to be great. I
cannot wait for this to take hold. Now, folks, I
want to give an example of what the establishment wants
(08:12):
us to do. The establishment Republicans who say, you know,
we should be able to support communists and socialists and
you Republican voters and you conservatives just vote for us anyway.
There's not a tinker's damn bit of difference between us
and socialist Marxist Democrats, although, you know, we will tell you,
we'll say it in rhetoric, but when we actually legislate,
(08:34):
we just pass all their left-wing crap and we do nothing,
we pass nothing that stands in the way of the
aforementioned left-wing crap. We don't correct anything. We're just there
to facilitate a continued downward spiral for the United States
under left-wing totalitarianism and socialism, right? So but we're supposed
(08:56):
to vote for them because we wouldn't want a Democrat
to get in there, folks. And I will say this
caveat before I get into to all of this, that
we should be voting for every single Republican. And then
demanding that they they give us the change that we
we have been voting for and demanding for many, many
moons now when they don't. We got a primary. They're
(09:16):
worthless asses. Get rid of them like we did yesterday.
John Cornyn. Get rid of them like we did Bill Cassidy.
Get rid of them like what we're about to do
with Tom Tillis, right? And praise God, in 2028, Thune, Murkowski,
and all the rest of them will be gone in
the primaries. And because I can tell you right now,
the conservative movement is fighting mad. And we are going to,
(09:40):
by hook or by crook, get in to those positions.
Individuals who will stand up for the Constitution and the
rule of law And who will oppose Democrats in real
and substantive ways. But, you know, the Republican Party is
kind of like right now, the Republican luminaries, these head honchos, they're.
kind of like jelly roll. They're like, we should be
(10:03):
able to work against you and your family and your
safety and security with our beloved socialist communist friends and
the Democrat Party. And you should vote for us anyway
and keep on giving us money and such. And that's
not the way it works. Here's jelly roll. You Jelly
Roll stepped onto the stage as a guest host for
Jimmy Kibble. Did I just say Kibble? I'm sorry, Jimmy Kibble,
(10:30):
not Kibble. A little Freudian slip there. Anyway, so Jelly
Roll steps onto the stage and he begins to tell
jokes about President Trump. I mean, it's not just the
good natured joke that you just heard from Bill Maher.
I mean, this was nasty stuff, making fun of President
Trump's penis size, calling him a fat pig. It was
(10:52):
just just really laid in to President Trump did Jelly Roll. Well,
President Trump's followers slash supporters didn't take too kindly to
To Jelly Roll's stance, because a lot of Jelly Roll's
fans and his income base happen to be Trump supporters.
(11:12):
So Jelly Roll is watching his career just go down
in flames as he reveals himself to be a left
wing lunatic. So he steps in front of the aforementioned
Jimmy Kimmel audience. And then, of course, he caters to
his brand new audience. Oh, please, please buy my records
because now I'm one of you because all the conservatives
are abandoning me. Listen to what he said, folks.
Speaker 6 (11:36):
My daddy always told me.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
It is.
Speaker 6 (11:46):
It is.
Speaker 10 (11:48):
It is never too late to do the right thing.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Never too late to do the right thing. He's crying.
over the millions and millions and millions of dollars just
going right out the window as people are burning his albums,
figuratively speaking, and never giving Jelly Roll a second.
Speaker 6 (12:04):
Look, folks.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
So he's teary-eyed over his colossal screw-up, and then he
decides to triple down on Stupid. Listen to the liberal crowd.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
He's crying.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
He's crying.
Speaker 10 (12:25):
So I'm going to try to do the right thing
right now because human dignity isn't Republican nor Democrat.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Human dignity. Now, what is he talking about? He's talking
about illegal immigration, folks. He's talking illegal immigration is a
form of human dignity. We must allow people to break
into our country. Terrorists, criminals, any no vetting whatsoever, you know,
to be illegal. to be real deep human beings. We've
(12:53):
got to put our own people at risk of death
and dying and crime so as to prove that we
are invested in human dignity. By the way, where was
the human dignity when Jelly Roll was making fun of
President Trump's penis or when he was calling him a
fat pig and other pejoratives?
Speaker 10 (13:13):
Compassion isn't left wing and mercy isn't right wing.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh, it's compassion and mercy. Compassion and mercy to allow
criminal illegal aliens to come in and kill our children, right?
Where's the compassion and mercy that Mr. Roll here has
for children who have been killed by illegal aliens who
should never have been here to begin with to do
the killing? Where is his human dignity? Where's his love
(13:37):
and his compassion for Americans?
Speaker 10 (13:39):
Pain and healing knows no partisanship. Hurting hearts are more
important than poll numbers and there are no boundaries or
borders for broken families.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Hurting hearts are more important than poll numbers. You mean
like the hearts of Americans who have either had their
loved ones taken on speakable crimes committed against them by
criminal illegal aliens that should never have been here to
begin with? Had their jobs taken? You mean that kind
of heart ache? That kind of hurt on somebody's heart?
(14:11):
Is that what you're talking about, Mr.
Speaker 10 (14:12):
Roll?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Somehow I think he was talking about Hurting the feelings
of criminal illegal aliens. That's what I thought he was
talking about.
Speaker 10 (14:23):
I am a man of second chances. I have joked
all week long on this show about how I'm a
convicted felon who was given the opportunity to change his life.
And the fact is, that wasn't a joke, y'all. This
country gave me room and a chance to become something
more than the biggest and worst mistake I ever made.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, and you repaid that country. for your second chance
by working to subvert the rule of law and to
say that here in America, and only in America, should
our borders be non-existent? Should criminal illegal aliens be allowed
to break into the United States with impunity? You know, folks,
they just deported Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo Yiannopoulos is a conservative
(15:05):
from Great Britain. He's gone now. But you know who's
still here? Abrego Garcia. Abrego Garcia is still here, this
gangbanger guy who allegedly beat up his hit, the mother
of his children, his girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Right.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Domestic abuse. That's who Democrats in jelly roll want in
our country, folks, because, you know, it's so compassionate.
Speaker 10 (15:28):
I got to build a life. I got to make music.
I got to take care of my family. I got
to stand on that stage that night and win a Grammy.
And that is the American dream.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Yeah, that's the American dream. You know, the kids who
were killed by criminal illegal aliens, the people who were
killed by criminal illegal aliens, the victims of criminal illegal aliens,
they're not going to be able to realize that American dream,
are they, Mr. Jelly Roll?
Speaker 6 (16:01):
Mr.
Speaker 2 (16:01):

Amber Duke. Let me properly introduce her to you folks.
She's the editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller. She's the author
of the insightful book, The Snowflakes Revolt, How Woke Millennials
Hijacked American Media. Lady, welcome.
Speaker 9 (20:01):
Hey, good morning, Chris.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Great to have you here. I have been discussing in
the previous hour more evidence that GOP power brokers are
trying to lose this election. You probably saw over the
weekend what Senator Kennedy said on the Karl Rove Never
Trump Network. You probably saw what what John Cornyn did
attacking Ken Paxton in a general election.
Speaker 6 (20:23):
Mr.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Republican John Cornyn attacking the Republican nominee in the general election.
To me, it's vindication. I'm not happy about it, but
it seems to be this uniparty that I've been describing
and telling folks about. It's real, is it not?
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Yeah. So what you're referring to, by the way, in
terms of that John Kennedy interview, was actually preempted by
an Axios story that dropped middle to late last week.
that talked about the fundraising apparatus for the Republican Party
that is super reluctant to spend any money for Ken Paxton.
Speaker 9 (20:56):
So I think you're exactly.
Speaker 6 (20:58):
Right, Chris.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
You really hit the nail on the head. This has
been brewing for some time, really since the runoff between
Cornyn and Paxton, where a lot of people were warning, well,
Ken Paxton's not as good at raising money, so what
are the campaign committees going to do? And it looks
like they are... Still figuring that out. At this point
(21:19):
in August, we're heading into September, just a month or two,
two months before the election. The NRSC has been sending
out fundraising emails for Ken Paxton. But the real fight
is between Senate Leadership Fund, which is the Mitch McConnell
associated super PAC.
Speaker 9 (21:37):
And then you have MAGA Inc., actually.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
The Trump-aligned organization. So these are the two groups that
are basically saying to each other, well, I don't want
to jump first, but if you decided to go ahead
and support Ken Paxton, then we would too. So they're
basically playing a game of chicken right now. And I
think the interesting thing in the coming days will be
uncovering why it is that MAGA Inc. in particular is
(22:04):
so reluctant to get involved.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Let's focus on Jihad John, Caliphate Cornyn, if we can
for a minute. Here's what he said. Of course, where
do fake Republicans go? They go to left-wing publications to
launch their attacks against conservatives. He went to the Texas Tribune,
which is an extreme left publication. Quote, here's what Mr.
Republican John Cornyn said of the Republican nominee for Senate
(22:28):
in Texas. Quote, Paxton's a poor campaigner. He's lazy and
doesn't raise money. And he basically is not offering a
very compelling case for his election. End quote. By the way,
it's all a specious lie. Number one. Number two, it's
this narrative coming out of Karl Rove being echoed by
the Karl Rove, never Trump network and left wingers in collusion.
(22:51):
The unit party that want to see James Tallarico take
over Texas just so they could say, see, I told you.
So the only good Republican to elect is one that
kisses Democrats butts.
Speaker 7 (23:00):
Am I wrong?
Speaker 9 (23:02):
Here's the way I look at it, too, Chris.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
If you were even if you believed all these things
were true, you really despise your opponent. You think that
they're that you would have been a much better choice
for Texas. Ultimately, you're on the same side, except Cornyn's
showing that perhaps they're not, but they are part of
the same party. It would be, in my opinion, much
(23:25):
more strategic and classy to after you lose the election,
simply just keep your mouth shut. Maybe even endorse the
guy if you're feeling especially generous that day. But I
think you're right to run to a left wing media
outlet and just trash someone who is actually vital to
holding Republican Senate majority seems extremely short sighted and petty.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Indeed. And here's evidence number two.
Speaker 6 (23:52):
Mr.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Cornyn is just showing us who he really is because
he has nothing else to lose.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Right.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
This is who he has been for 24 years, betraying conservatives.
betraying the country. Evidence number two, when Cornyn isn't attacking
conservatives like Paxton, he's attacking president Trump, uh, trumpeting he's,
he was trumpeting a new poll was Mr. Cornyn over
the weekend that finds president Trump's tariffs are unpopular in Texas,
especially among Hispanics because you know, the polls Amber are
(24:18):
so reliable.
Speaker 9 (24:21):
Yeah, super reliable. And I mean, here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
It doesn't really matter what the polls say to Cornyn
because he just kind of flip-flops with the wind. He
originally was very quiet about the SAVE Act. Then he
was like, well, I support it. And then as the
polls again showed that he was not performing well against
Ken Paxton, the runoff suddenly it was, well, maybe I
(24:44):
would get rid of the filibuster or do a talking
filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act. And it's the
same thing with immigration and amnesty. He was all for
amnesty five, six years ago. And then as soon as
it became clear that the groundswell of Trump's base was
wildly opposed to anything even resembling amnesty, now he claims
(25:06):
that he never supported it. So this is really par
for the course.
Speaker 10 (25:10):
Indeed.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Now, what we've seen the establishment doing, the establishment Republicans,
they're trying to blame those who oppose Marxist Democrats. In
real and substantive ways for the alleged impending loss for
Republicans in the midterms, right? They're going to try to
blame us. They're going to blame faulty candidates. Conservatism in
(25:32):
their mind is faulty, right? You must elect Republicans who
are genial with Democrats and allow Democrats to get their way.
And those are the only Republicans who should win. This
is going to be the narrative they're trying to solidify
right now. They're doing it over at Fox News. They're
doing it in the Karl Rove circles. They're doing it
in these establishment Republican circles, the uniparty circles. And I
(25:54):
don't think they ought to be able to get away
with it because really what the cause of this, the
cause of Republican losses will be their lack of productivity
and their lack of standing up against socialists and Marxist
Democrats in real and substantive ways. Am I wrong?
Speaker 1 (26:07):
I think the lack of productivity is so huge. And
Republicans should be spending every waking moment of this run
up to the midterms talking about affordability. And instead, they
just point fingers at the other side while they have
done nothing really to make the lives of everyday Americans
more affordable. That's the number one problem, I think, facing
(26:28):
Republicans' chances in November. But going back to your point
about candidate quality and the smears that are going to
come out, I just find that really funny because I
talk to a lot of people in Washington on a
daily basis. And just a month, maybe two months ago,
the people who are responsible for doling out money for
(26:48):
cutting ads were not saying that they were concerned about
candidate quality. In fact, they were actually bragging about what
an improvement they had made on candidate quality since 2022.
So that is a very curious turnabout.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Right. And folks, just for the record, I as a
conservative do not believe finding a Republican to cave on
major legislation to Democrats like Obamacare, like gun confiscation, like
open borders, fully funding all the corruption in Minnesota and
California and New York. I don't believe that is a
good Republican. I believe that you ought to elect Republicans
(27:27):
who believe in opposing Democrats in real and substantive ways,
protecting us from those socialists and Marxists. That's what a
That's what a good Republican ought to be doing. Amber
Duke is our guest, editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller, folks.
Have you found an answer to my question? The Republicans
were willing to spend $ 100 million to defeat a conservative
(27:49):
in Texas, but as you heard from Senator Kennedy, there
is no money they are appropriating now to oppose the
Marxists and the socialists in Texas in the general election.
Have you found a dollar figure that they are willing
to spend? No.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
So I will say this, a lot of the money
that was spent for Cornyn in the primary was from
outside donors as opposed to campaign committees. But at this point,
we're now looking at a must-win race, right? You have
only a handful of Senate seats that could flip in
order for Republicans to keep the Senate. And every day,
(28:24):
it seems like more races around the country are becoming
more precarious. North Carolina, Ohio, Georgia, certainly. Even Alaska and
Maine are going to be tough fights. I think Republicans
will pull it out, but it's not going.
Speaker 9 (28:37):
To be easy.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
And now you have Texas on the table because of
this dispute between the campaign committees, the establishment, and the
conservative AG. So this is going to get incredibly messy
for Republicans, and I definitely do agree. not envy anyone
who is involved in that fight because it's going to
(29:00):
get nasty.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
And I think it's a headline. I think it's a headline.
Republicans declare they're abandoning Texas in the general election. That's
what Senator Kennedy said. We've not allocated any money for Texas.
It's like, seriously?
Speaker 6 (29:12):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
That is the wrong signal, in my opinion, to be sending.
Let's get into some news. The U.S. State and Treasury
Departments announced this week that they've designated this Italy-based anonymous
tech collective a specially designated global terrorist. Say that three
times fast. They say AI Collective provides sophisticated tech tools
(29:35):
to a variety of far left actors, including websites, hosting
and blogging suites known as no blogs, mail services and
similar tech services to these inhuman leftist groups, these violent
and human leftist groups seeking the destruction of the United
States like, you know, Antifa and others. This is huge. No. No.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Yes, I have always been concerned about the rapid rise
of artificial intelligence and these new big tech companies that
are even usurping the size of the social media companies
and what it is that their founders believe and what
these tools are going to be used to accomplish. And
we've already seen the rise of flock cameras around the country,
(30:14):
which are warrantless spying tools. They're all over Texas, which
are powered by AI license plate readers. We have seen
people like Sam Altman and Dario Amadei, the founders of
OpenAI and Anthropic, talk about their philosophy of pure utilitarianism.
Speaker 9 (30:37):
So basically, if a AI.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Tool helps save 10 birds, but it kills one human,
then it was worth it because you technically saved more
than you killed. I mean, that is truly their ideology.
The people who are in charge in a lot of
these cases are incredibly scary. And so I am not
surprised at all to hear that leftists are going to
start taking advantage of this. Because a lot of the
(31:01):
views of these people are leftist. They just couch it
in something that sounds attractive on its face to conservatives.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Ugh. Damn, it's scary. And folks, the United States government
has compromised these servers. So right now, Antifa and all
these left-wing groups are scared out of their minds, which
is great. I'm glad these violent thugs are finally afraid
themselves as the U.S. government and the America First government
is working for us instead of for them. Meantime, Catherine
(31:31):
Herridge found some emails where his eminence, Dr. Fauci, appears
to have called for the destruction of public records. That's illegal.
You can't destroy government records. That's completely illegal. And he's
calling for this in these emails that were found. And
it's outside of the window that was protected by his
(31:53):
auto pen pardon, which I don't believe was legitimate to
begin with. Some are saying that the offenses have a
statute of limitations and he's done nothing to further that conspiracy.
So the statute of limitations ran out and that's why
they set that, that threshold because he broke the law
well before, you know, after the statute of limitations. So
(32:15):
that's why I wasn't included in the pardon. What are
you hearing about all this?
Speaker 1 (32:18):
I think that Republicans are basically trying to release as
much information as they can about Dr. Fauci to keep
him in the public conscience as sort of this, obviously this, this,
so-called scientist who upended human life in America. But I
(32:39):
haven't seen much movement, by the way, of actually holding
him accountable. Senator Rand Paul is one of the few
who has been talking about potential mechanisms for getting around
that pardon, what the loopholes might be if they could
get him on perjury or lying to Congress or something
to that effect. But very few others have been really
(33:02):
waving the flag like, yes, we need to actually hold
this guy accountable for what he did to the American people,
whether it was lying repeatedly, hiding his government communications that
we pay for. But I just, people are so frustrated
because they feel like, okay, we know he did another
bad thing.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Yes.
Speaker 9 (33:21):
What now? What's going to happen to him? Nothing.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Nothing.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
That's the problem that we started talking about, the political problem.
Republicans have dedicated, set us on a course of doing nothing,
which I guess is, if you have a choice between
advancing communism and socialism and doing nothing, I guess I
prefer doing nothing, but we've been asking for accountability. That's another,
another thing that's going to threaten the Republican majority is
they've not done anything because they've been scared out of
(33:46):
their minds of their good Democrat friends. Even after their
Democrat friends attack them directly, Arctic frost and crossfire hurricane
and all that. Taylor Swift, you are a woman and
you were a Christian. I believe I'm not speaking out
of turn when I tell folks that Taylor Swift is
a is, well, showing, I guess, brain power that she has.
(34:06):
LifeSite News reports that Swift says, quote, I'm a Christian
and people with real Christian values support abortion. It's what
she says. Now, look, I think she's doing Christian wrong,
but see, I'm a male. I'm told I can't talk
about these things. So you as a female, what do
you think?
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Sounds like James Taylor Rico.
Speaker 9 (34:26):
Am I right?
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (34:27):
That's so crazy.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
I mean, she has, she's obviously a very shallow person.
I mean, if you watch or read any of her
public statements, perhaps people recall her endorsement of Marsha Blackburn's
opponent in Tennessee, Phil Bredesen back in, gosh, I don't
even remember how long ago that was, maybe 2020.
Speaker 9 (34:48):
Or 2022 elections. She just sounds a little brain dead.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
And so I don't even think that she's thought through
what it means to be a pro-choice Christian. She just
knows that a lot of her fan base is Christian
and a lot of her fan base are progressive, you know,
feminists who are pro-choice. So she's like, I think I
can just. call myself a pro-choice christian and then i
get to keep both fan bases.
Speaker 8 (35:13):
Really yeah i i want to slaughter children in the
womb and i'm a christian okay fine taylor that's fine
mr kelsey don't get angry hey she was the one
who said stupid things last thing speaking of stupid things.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Jelly roll uh jelly rope he spent four nights on
on jimmy kimmel calling the president let's say it's good
on the list A fat pig joking about his penis size,
telling MAGA fans to delete his music if they didn't
like what he was saying. Then he cried on camera
as he lectured America about human dignity isn't Republican or Democrat.
(35:48):
There are no boundaries or borders for broken families, Jelly
Roll said. It's funny how he talks about human dignity
now that he's watching his fan base completely turn against
him and all the money flying out the door. But
he showed no human dignity to the president when he
was making his tasteless jokes, huh?
Speaker 1 (36:06):
This was basically the quickest turnaround of, oh my gosh,
it's the consequences of my actions that I've probably ever
seen before. This is the thing with these artists is
they don't seem they get all of this money and
this fame and they become so out of touch with
the people who put them there. And this is exactly
what's happening with Jelly Roll. Tons of rural MAGA folks
(36:29):
love his music. Same with Taylor Swift when she was
doing country music. She flip flopped a pop, became a liberal.
Jelly Roll is on TV insulting the president. It's the
quickest way to just blow up your reputation. And granted,
Taylor Swift made it out all right. But Jelly Roll
is not a global pop phenomenon. I think he's going
to have a harder time wiggling out of this one.
Speaker 6 (36:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
And ironically, but this syndrome that we just described with
Taylor Swift and Jelly Roll is what's afflicting the current
Republican leadership at this point. It all ties in together, folks,
pop culture, politics. It's all it's all part and parcel.

We, the people.
