Speaker 1 (00:04):
And 84% of Americans want the Save America Act!

Speaker 2 (00:12):
But anybody who follows this process closely knows that we
don't have the votes.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
You tried your best, and you failed miserably.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
The lesson is, never try.

Speaker 5 (00:21):
The proof that you mailed your ballot on or just
before election day, it's not just a postmark, you can
handwrite the date.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (00:30):
And that.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
This is this horrible thing to say about. They will
remove 25 million people off the road.

Speaker 7 (01:09):
It's Wednesday, day one of the RNC, folks, the first
midterm RNC convention in U.S.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
History.

Speaker 7 (01:17):
President Trump, of course, making that history as he typically does.
And so it's a very political week. You know, I've
got to be honest with you, and I think I've
talked on this with Sean on the show behind the show. But,
you know, I'm always a little leery of being too
focused on the politics, on government and kind of missing
the forest for the trees. and not making the connective

(01:40):
tissue as to why I do these things. It's not
just for politics. There's a principle behind all of it.
And there's a reason why. And frankly, folks, I want
America to get back to being America again. A healthy
supply chain, a healthy economy, freedom, liberty, where we hire

(02:01):
the most qualified people, we dot the I's and cross
the T's. I want to get there again. And I
don't want this nation crumbling again. under crippling, unrepayable debt,
which is exactly the trajectory, sadly, we are on. So
let's talk some politics, shall we? Here we have James
Talafreak's show. The first soundbite, he's sitting down with an

(02:25):
old colleague of mine, Jack Fink, who is probably one
of the more fair political reporters in the mainstream press.
He asks tough questions. Here, James Tallarico is caught in
massive hypocrisy. Listen.

Speaker 8 (02:41):
You shouldn't trust anything a politician says. You should look
at what a politician has done. Because the best indicator
of future behavior is past behavior. Ken Paxton has taken
nearly half a million dollars linked to the data center industry.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
So what?

Speaker 7 (02:55):
We need to win the data center battle. We need
data centers. We need to beat communist China. And we
know why James Tallarico doesn't He wants China to win
the AI battle. So he wants America to be out.
So he's killing data centers. He thinks that we're going
to he thinks somehow. No, he doesn't. There are people

(03:17):
out there who think somehow if we just don't develop
artificial intelligence, it'll go away and it's and it won't
be a factor. That's not how it works, kids. That's
not how it's going to work. It's kind of like
the nuclear arms race. We lose this. We lose all
the marbles, folks. So we have to keep up with
our competition so we don't lose. Now, James Telefreak show

(03:39):
is very much in it for communist China. He wants
them to win.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Why?

Speaker 7 (03:43):
Because James thinks just like the totalitarian communists in China do.

Speaker 8 (03:49):
And it's why he ignored residents in Hood County. when
they asked for his help as attorney general.

Speaker 7 (03:54):
Okay, wait a minute. First off, the attorney general cannot
do anything, cannot do anything about a data center. Data
centers are legal. They're not outlawed in Texas. So if
they're coming into a community and they're welcome into a community,
there's really nothing the attorney general can do. Do you
know who can do something about these things? That would be.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Politicians.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
That would be elected officials like you, James Telefreak Show.

Speaker 8 (04:21):
To pause data center construction in their community. He just
ghosted them. And that's because he's bought and paid for
by the data center industry. I don't take money from
data centers. I don't take money from the data center industry.
I don't take any money from corporate PACs.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
That's not true. That's absolutely not true. And Jack Fink
is about ready to call him on it.

Speaker 8 (04:38):
I am focused on serving Texans. And that means reining
in these big data center companies, making sure these data
centers are paying for their own energy and and not
jacking up utility bills across the state, recycling their water
so they're not exacerbating the water crisis in Texas. So
we need a senator who's going to fight for Texans.
We don't need a senator who's bought and paid for

(04:58):
by the data center industry.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Paxton and the Republicans push back. They call you a
hypocrite on this issue because they say billionaire Reid Hoffman
has donated $ 11. 5 million to the super PAC that's funding
your campaign. And he supports data centers. So what do
you say to that?

Speaker 7 (05:15):
Yeah. Oh, by the way, Reid Hoffman is also a
huge Epstein affiliated guy. I mean, they were thick as thieves. So, yes,
a guy affiliated with Jeffrey Epstein heavily is donating to
James Teller Freak Show's campaign. Of course, you all know
that James Teller Rico loves trans kids.

Speaker 8 (05:35):
I've never taken a donation from Reid Hoffman. I have
no control over what any super PAC does, whether they
are for me or against me or neutral.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
But they'll help you.

Speaker 8 (05:44):
Well, there's a lot of super PACs out there that
are claiming to support me or claiming to support the
Attorney General. All I legally have control over is what
I do in my campaign.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Yeah, but you didn't repudiate the Reid-Hoffman Donations. I mean,
tied with Jeffrey Epstein, I mean, all it would take
for you is, I don't want this super PAC taking
money from Reid Hoffman, and I don't want their ads.
I push back. I reject their support. But you didn't
do that, did you, James Tallarico?

Speaker 5 (06:15):
And Mr.

Speaker 7 (06:15):
Hoffman, of course, big into data centers. Not sure what
his angle is on that. It can't be pro-American. There's
just no way it can be pro-American. The guy's a
left-wing lunatic, so By the way, same interview, James Tallarico.
He will raise your taxes. My friends, I hope, I hope,
you know, you people in Texas and you people around

(06:35):
the rest of the country who may don't, maybe you
don't have anybody, uh, a big race in this midterm election.
And you might want to throw some support to stop
your taxes from going up because if James Tallarico is
the Senator of Texas, he will be voting every single
time to raise your taxes.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Uh, The Republicans have said, you know, you voted against
the banning the state income tax back in 2019. Why
did you do that?

Speaker 8 (07:04):
Because it's already banned.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
But this would have banned it permanently. It was there's
already a high bar.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
Yeah, this this this would have banned it. I think
it was a constitutional amendment, if memory serves. that said
there will never be any, we will not be stupid
enough in Texas to tax a desirable activity. Folks, making
money is a desirable activity. And we're not going to
be stupid enough to penalize people for doing something they

(07:30):
should want to do and be enthusiastic about doing, which
is making money. Earning an honest day's work, there's nothing
wrong with it, but James Tellafreak's show thinks that government
can spend your money better than you can, as does
everybody in his ilk. the leftists, the Marxists, the Democrats, they,
the ads folks are coming out. Uh, Ken Paxton, Ken

(07:52):
Paxton has had ton of ads, ton of ads coming out.
And he is, he has done a fantastic job of
recovering from his bout with, uh, with, uh, John Cornyn and, uh,
Now the money's starting to flow in, folks, and so
is the creative ads. So here is ad number one.

(08:16):
Have a listen to this.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
We've only got one Texas. If we lose our one Texas,
there's nowhere else to go. So I'm going to ask you,
dig in, pray, give what you can, and let's go
out and win this. God bless you.

Speaker 9 (08:31):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 7 (08:40):
Short but sweet, made for 30 seconds. Actually, it's only
23 seconds, so it's made to get your attention on
the Internet. Maybe quick TV ads, which will charge you
less for a less than 30-second ad. So that was
pretty good. Now here's Ken Paxton ads explode onto the
scene number two.

Speaker 8 (09:00):
God is non-binary.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
There are many more than two.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Biological sexes. In fact, there are six.

Speaker 8 (09:08):
It is now existential that we try to reduce our
meat consumption. The American flag is such a complicated symbol
for most of us. Prophetic voices like Jesus have helped
me reckon with my own whiteness, my own masculinity. Our
southern border should be like our front porch. There should
be a giant welcome mat out front. No need to

(09:28):
sit and cry over, you know, your whiteness or your masculinity.
They're going to call me a radical leftist.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Something that you love that's not family or friends.

Speaker 8 (09:38):
I love, I'm just saying this because it's on my mind,
the trans children.

Speaker 7 (09:44):
The Democrats have a weird, a weird cat today.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Low T.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
Tallarico, too.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Yep.

Speaker 7 (09:52):
Too radical for Texas, folks. I'll let him finish.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Hold on.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Low T. Tallarico.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
Yeah, I guess it just cut off right there. I'm
not sure why that did that. But anyway, here's number three, folks.

Speaker 9 (10:07):
Tired of paying more in taxes?

Speaker 7 (10:09):
Ken Paxton pushing his new plan to make living more
affordable for Texans.

Speaker 9 (10:14):
Paxton's plan? Doubling the child tax credit, big write-offs for
medical expenses, and a $ 50, 000 deduction for first-time homebuyers. James
Tallarico supported a trillion dollar tax hike, higher property taxes
and higher taxes on Social Security. Tallarico, higher taxes. Paxton,
lower taxes.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
A clear choice. MAGA Inc.

Speaker 9 (10:35):
Is responsible for the content of this advertising.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
Oh, yeah. President Trump coming in with 10 million dollars.
MAGA Inc. going all in. I hear Elon Musk is
pledging millions. And here we go, folks.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
CNN, I think.

Speaker 7 (10:51):
This is crazy that it's coming from CNN and not
the Karl Rove Never Trump Network, right? Karl Rove is
too busy jumping on Brian Kilmeade's radio show, both of
them trashing Ken Paxton, just like John Cornyn did. John
Cornyn basically green-lighting all the Republican, fake Republicans to come
out and start bashing those who actually oppose Democrats in

(11:15):
real and substantive ways. And CNN, I think, perfectly encapsulated
what the Senate race in Texas is and what it
will be. Listen to this.

Speaker 10 (11:26):
Is lagging behind James Tallarico. Well, Republicans need to focus
on Texas and they are focusing on Texas. But the
difference is Ken Paxton has a resource problem and James
Tallarico has a record problem. And one is fixable and
one isn't. At the end of the day, there's going
to be plenty of money for Ken Paxton. He's been
getting outspent dramatically the last several weeks by James Tallarico.
But that amount of money can introduce James Tallarico to
voters and But it's not going to be able to

(11:47):
actually hide the entire rhetoric that he had been utilizing previously.
Everything he'd been talking about from on issues around trans issues,
everything he'd been talking about, about aligning closer with the
progressive left. That's not going to sell for Texan voters.
I mean, say what you want about Ken Paxton. He's
been elected statewide three times. He just won a primary
by 27 points. The folks in Texas know him. I
think he's going to win pretty convincingly on election day

(12:09):
at the end of the day. Just need some resources.
Get there. I'm confident he will.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7 (12:13):
And the resources are coming in. Ten million from Trump,
as I said, reported 15 million coming in from Elon Musk.
That alone, that alone puts him on par with James
Talafreak showing the millions he's gotten from California just in
the last week, week and a half. Not to mention
all the stuff that Ken Paxton has been raising on
his own at multiple fundraisers and his tours around the

(12:35):
state of Texas. And other places around the country. And
I'm hearing that the Senate Republicans have been guilted into
actually not surrendering Texas. So quickly, folks, conservatives are rising
up and Americans are rising up to unite against James
Telefreak show. The extremists left John Cornyn and Karl Rove

(12:56):
and Brian Kilmeade and their anti conservative anti Paxton bent.

Bradley Jay is the politics editor at Breitbart News. for
joining Breitbart in 2023. He had a long career on
Capitol Hill, which, you know, didn't scar him forever, which
is a miracle in and of itself. Politics editor at
Breitbart News, Jay, plays a major role in shaping insider
coverage and narratives that you're not going to see anyplace
else other than Breitbart. What's going on, man? Welcome back.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
It's great to be with you. Always a pleasant Friday
to go on the show.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
There you go, man. Let's talk about some politics here
and the GOP's prospects just looking at it from 30,000
feet up, not all the fake polls, because in my lifetime,
I've never seen the polls get it more.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Wrong more often.

Speaker 7 (17:20):
But where in reality, from your vantage point, is the
Republican Party right now? As you see a civil war
on the Democrat side, and there's definitely one on the
Republican side.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Well, you talk about fake polls. Just this week, there
was that poll from Meridian Strategies, the company that is
now shut off its website, and it was found out
just over the past 24 hours that it was run
by a 21-year-old using AI, and it was entirely manufactured.
But I mean, that had an effect. And Chris is like,

(17:51):
you know this. You've been in and around the business.
All these pollsters, none of them want to be outliers anymore.
Even if they are confident in their methods and they
run a poll and it is an outlier, they'll freak
out and adjust it so that it's not because they
want to stay in the mainstream. I mean, the whole
industry is just a crock. You really can't tell much

(18:13):
from polls at all. But if you look at polls
right now across the nation, if you subscribe to polls, look, Republicans,
they kind of need to get it in gear, particularly
in the Senate, which I'm much more worried about. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:27):
Trafalgar and Rasmussen are usually the more dependable polls that
actually want to reflect public opinion and not shape it.

Speaker 8 (18:36):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (18:36):
I'm concerned about John Thune and his merry band of
pro Democrat Republicans dragging down the entire country, dragging down
the entire Republican ticket because of their lack of productivity.
And I'll get there in a minute. Byron Donald's, uh,
though secures the nomination in Florida and, uh, you know,

(18:58):
scandals are plaguing a lot of Republican campaigns, a lot
of Democrat campaigns too, let's be honest. But Byron Donalds,
what's your take on him?

Speaker 4 (19:08):
I like Byron.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
He's been a strong supporter of the president. He is
incredibly intelligent and can communicate well. And he's authentic. That's
something that is really rare with Republican politicians. Look, you
and I both interview him all the time. And Man,
it's so hard getting a Republican politician to talk about

(19:32):
something real. They just seize up and go to the
talking points and nobody wants to hear that. Come on, man.
Tell us something. Byron doesn't have that issue. He's been
a really effective messenger for the president. And if you
look at the turnout in Florida, it's amazing how if
you have Republicans. who actually are real and authentic and bold,

(19:54):
how you have voters turn out for him. And the
turnout in Florida was was great. If you look at
what is there, like a million and a half more
registered Republicans in Florida now than Democrats, which is I mean,
things have changed so quickly. But the percentage of registered
Republicans that showed out compared to registered Democrats in Florida

(20:16):
was much better than a lot of these other states.
And I think that a big reason for that is
that Byron Donalds was running for governor statewide.

Speaker 7 (20:24):
True enough. And you know what? You never have to
guess what Byron Donalds is thinking. He will tell you.
On the other side, this Francesca Hong person, who was
a Democrat, a communist, socialist, DSA and and they're marching
and they're taking over the Democrat Party hurt now correct
me if I'm wrong wasn't it her election that had

(20:46):
the missing thumb drives in it or was it somebody I.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Mean five missing drives yeah right yes but elections are
safe don't worry about it they're just conducted on a
technology that's so old that the federal government won't even
allow you to use it unbelievable.

Speaker 7 (21:02):
Right yeah so but again She was leading in every poll, folks.
She had a 99% chance of winning the election. You know,
Polly Market, all these ones saying that Ken Paxton is behind.
They were saying she had a 99% chance of winning,
and she got beat by a traditional Democrat who allegedly

(21:24):
is still an American. We don't know, but I think
the entire party's lost its mind. But what have you
been covering about Francesca Hong, the DSA march? and their
takeover of the entire Democrat establishment.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Well, it's interesting that polling company I had mentioned a
second ago, Meridian Strategies, one of the polls that it
had fraudulently produced was in Francesca Hong's race. It had
her well up by like 20, 25 points. And again,
these pollsters freak out. They think, well, this is legit.

(21:59):
They didn't know anything about Meridian Strategies, but they'd seen
it reported in news outlets. So they just assumed that
it was legit. So they started adjusting their polls to
match that. Francesca Hong didn't have a well-financed campaign. So
she wasn't running internals. So there wasn't good polling on that.
And all the conventional wisdom was wrong on that race.

(22:22):
But there was a lot of funny business in there.
The other progressive after candidate Mandela Barnes, lieutenant governor, after polling,
or excuse me, after early voting had already started, he
bowed out of the race. He said it was because
there was already a clear winner in the progressive lane,
but he also had some personal scandals. You had another
candidate who was in the top four, the more mainstream

(22:45):
establishment Democrat candidate get out of that race at the
last minute. The guy who eventually won, David Crowley, he
had dropped out of the race immediately. But because the
the Democrat governor, Tony Evers, asked him to get back in,
he got back in the race with just, I mean,
days like less than a month before Election Day. And

(23:06):
somehow there was this rush without him spent a lot
of money, rush of votes to him. A ton of
votes came in last minute. You mentioned the thumb drive
and he ended up winning by what, like thirty eight
hundred votes. There was a lot of funny business. And
it's interesting watching these progressives cry foul and say our
election was stolen when they did so much to try

(23:27):
to over the years say that that's not even a
real thing. It's remarkable.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7 (23:31):
But they can claim the elections are stolen. Democrats can
claim stolen elections and not get canceled, not get thrown
off their platforms. They get to do that all day long.
It's only when conservatives cry foul that we get silenced
oftentimes by the the very same people we work with.
Thank goodness that didn't happen here on The Voice of
Texas with me in this show. Then there's the victories

(23:54):
of the socialists. You know, we just saw this socialist
come out of nowhere with very little funding, beat Alexander Vindman. Oh,
say can you see, as Rush Limbaugh used to say
about Vindman. He was well-financed. I mean, we're talking tens
of millions of dollars from the mainstream Democrat Party. He

(24:15):
lost because he's a dweeb and the socialist wins, but
so did Abdul El-Sayed. So where does that mean to
you as we're mapping out where, and this is what
I say, that this gambit of establishing Republicans to turn
over the Congress to Democrats is so dangerous because the
Democrats who will be waiting will actually be socialists and communists.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Well, the Democrat party has been socialist for a while,
but now they're just having a lot more trouble hiding
it because their elected officials or these DSA candidates are
kind of boxing them in and exposing. If you look
at the actual agenda of a Chuck Schumer Democrat and
someone say like Angie Nixon, this radical who won the

(25:01):
Senate nomination for Democrats in Florida, there's really not a
lot of daylight between them. So Democrats are in a
pretty precarious position right now. But you talk about the
difference between Florida and Michigan. where Nixon won and then
El-Said won, respectively. In Florida, it was so delicious to

(25:21):
watch Alex Vindman lose. I'm not one who loves reveling
in other people's defeat. As you said earlier in the show,
you never say goodbye permanently. You never know what's going
to happen. Folks can lose a race, then come back
and rise even higher. Look at what happened to Donald
Trump in 2020 and then 2024. Vindman was riding so high.

(25:44):
He had contributed to the scheme, that false narrative that
helped get Trump impeached in the House. Trump got evicted
from the White House. Here's Vindman. He'd raised $ 16. 2 million
in the Senate race in Florida, and now he's the one.
A historic loss. What little polling was available in that

(26:05):
race had him up by 10, 15 points. He ended
up losing by 12. That is a historic loss. Alex
Vindman is a historic loser. He will have to carry
that around with him until I guess maybe he's going
to move back to Washington, D.C. and there's an empty
seat beside Adam Kinzinger on CNN that Alex Vindman can

(26:25):
fill on one of these just... nonsense, oh, orange man,
bad panels that they have. But it is amazingly delicious
to watch Vindman lose.

Speaker 7 (26:34):
I know those polls, man. I mean, he was up
by 10, 15 points and he loses by 12. Those
polls are so accurate, right? And then, well, El-Sayed, El-Sayed, look,
in my mind, this is the red-green alliance, the communists
and the jihadists teaming up. and with one goal, to
destroy the United States of America, and it is embodied

(26:56):
in Marxist-Mondani in New York, and that the victory of
this Abdul El-Sayed character.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Yeah, I mean, El-Sayed has run a relatively unconventional candidacy.
It's one that's becoming more popular in Democrat circles. I
think down in your state, remember when Beto run, he
just abandoned the center of didn't even try to win
over independents or swing voters. He was one of the

(27:23):
first who pioneered that campaign. I won't give credit to him.
I'll give credit to whatever consultants he hired, but who
tried to gin up the base of the Democrat Party,
which they saw is incredibly these radical types, and to
win with just overwhelming turnout from the base. That's increasingly
becoming the direction that Democrat campaigns are going because the

(27:45):
folks who are running and the folks who are winning
these primaries are these absolute radicals. And the Chuck Schumer types,
the folks who don't really have any real convictions but
have always hewed towards the side of where the money
is and where the Wall Street donations to Democrats come in,
they've had to react to that and they haven't done
that well. El-Said did struggle with certain pockets. I mean,

(28:08):
Haley Stevens, who he ran against, she spent, what, 60-something
million on that race between her and AIPAC and some
of the other groups who supported her. Notably, and this
is going to impact in Florida, every state is different.
Politics is still local, even as nationalized as it is.

(28:29):
Black voters overwhelmingly voted for Haley Stevens in Michigan instead
of El-Said. He's got a lot of work to do
to get black voters to show up when there's not
a black candidate on the ticket, and that's going to
be difficult for him. It's an opportunity for Mike Rogers
to poach black and maybe even Jewish voters in Michigan,

(28:53):
but that's going to be difficult.

Speaker 7 (28:54):
And if you see that story about black preachers now
who actually take their faith seriously, showing up and pushing
back on Sharia law in places like Michigan, they're not
pushing back here in Texas. The the left-wing black preachers
have abandoned Jesus Christ here in Texas to support the

(29:14):
radicalized Islamic socialist movement. But anyway, I digress. In some
other states, in other states, it's actually taking place where
these Christian black pastors are standing up saying, no, you're
not going to institute Sharia law in my town. Bradley
Jay is the politics editor at Breitbart News. Speaking of
my state, I am hoping you've got an answer to

(29:37):
my question. I've been asking this. My question is simple.
The GOP, the NRSC, which is dead to me, and
the establishment Republicans spent $ 100 million in the primary to
defeat a conservative in the state of Texas. His name
is Ken Paxton. I cannot get a dollar figure as

(29:58):
to how much they're willing to spend to defeat a
Marxist in James Tallarico. Do you know what that dollar
figure is? What are Republicans like Chris LaCivita and FP1 Strategies,
what are they willing to give to defeat a communist
and a socialist in the state of Texas?

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Chris, that dollar figure is very low, at least it
is right now. If you look at what the NRSC
has done in Texas, What little messaging they've done has
been to attack Tallarico as a socialist, just because that's
the kind of messaging that can transfer over to other states.
But so far, they haven't actually made any hard, serious

(30:39):
commitments to Ken Paxton. Ken Paxton's out there working his
tail off. He's a hard worker. He's bold. He would
be an amazing senator. And as J.D. Vance said earlier,
in a press briefing and an answer to Breitbart's White
House correspondent, Nick Gilbertson, he said, look, the White House

(31:00):
is no longer going to support any of these candidates
who get to Washington and forget who sent them there.
He said that in response to a question on if
Trump's then endorsement of Paxton was meant to send a
message in Texas and in other states as well, not
just to sitting senators, but anyone who might consider challenging
those sitting senators to but it's very clear that the

(31:23):
NRSC is not on board with that. The National Republican
Senatorial Committee is an incumbent protection racket. If you want
to advance Republican principles, conservative principles, if you want to
elect Republican conservative candidates, don't give any money to the NRSC.
Go out and find the candidate that you like and

(31:43):
give money to them directly. Look at Lisa Murkowski. Is
there any senator in America, Republican or Democrat, who has
been more effective in stopping the Trump agenda?

Speaker 9 (31:55):
No.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
She lost her primary in Alaska in 2010 to Joe Miller,
who bailed her out, who helped her overcome the will
of actual Republican voters in that state and mount an effective,
expensive write-in campaign, the NRSC. So they're not serious about
what voters care about. They're not even serious about what
Republican voters to care about. care about. They are all

(32:19):
about maintaining their tiny little small minded fiefdom. They don't
care anything about the Trump agenda. They don't care anything
about conservative voters.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
You were right.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
I'm glad that they are dead to you. They should
be dead to each and every one of your listeners
as well.

Speaker 7 (32:32):
And that leads me to my final question and what
we alluded to off the top. How much damage has
John Thune, Lisa Murkowski, by the way, Lisa Murkowski is
out there bitching and moaning and that somebody, that O'Keefe,
James O'Keefe was offered a ballot, her brother's ballot, exposing
how vulnerable and how crooked Alaska's elections are. And so

(32:53):
now she's pledging to prosecute James O'Keefe rather than fix
an absolutely corrupt voting system that she actually is responsible
for and keeps people like her elected. Anyway, I digress.
How much damage has John Thune, dear leader John Thune,
and Lisa Murkowski done to the Republican Party brand by

(33:15):
basically their lack of productivity, anything in the affirmative for
the American people and their deference. And let's just call
it what it is. It is what it is. Their
ass kissing of Democrats.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
It's difficult to say how much damage they've done because
they've really just continued the same trajectory that Mitch McConnell
had the Senate Republican conference on. However, with Trump's reelection
in 2024, the igniting of the base, it was an
opportunity to pivot and create a new Senate Republican conference
that was much more responsive to voters, much more responsive

(33:47):
to the people who actually sent them there. And unfortunately,
John Thune and his cabal of scheming senators just overwhelmingly failed.
I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt
in the early days. But I mean, as soon as
they passed the one big, beautiful bill in July of
last year, the Senate froze up. Yeah, they've confirmed some nominees. Fine.

(34:09):
But they really have not done much else at all.
And each and every one of them who is going
back home to their states and asking to be reelected.
We talked earlier about how Republican voter turnout is down,
except when you have someone strong at the top of
the ticket, like Byron Donalds, who running for governor and
said a Senate. Wish he was a senator myself. But

(34:33):
these Republican senators and the candidates who are running the
Senate for the first time for the GOP, how do
you tell a voter, yeah, you should interrupt your busy schedule,
register to vote, show up to vote with everything else
going on? What are you perpetuating? Just the same cycle
of Republican failure in Washington, D.C.? Yeah. There's really not

(34:55):
much to run on. And whose fault is that? It's
very clearly John Thune's. And if he complains one more
time about, oh, well, we don't have numbers. My guy,
you are the.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Leader, a leader.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
It is in your name.

Speaker 7 (35:09):
Lead them.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
And if you are incapable of leading, get out the way.
But I think that he needs to stop calling himself that.
We need a new name for the Republican majority leader
in the Senate because there's no leading going on.

Speaker 7 (35:20):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
And you know what?

Speaker 7 (35:21):
If you don't have the votes, have the vote anyway,
because when when a Republican votes against voting integrity, I
think the voters deserve to know that, John Thune. And
what's what's the matter with taking a vote, getting everybody
on the record?

Speaker 3 (35:35):
Oh, we don't want to do that.

Speaker 7 (35:36):
Because why? Because they want to continue to snow their
their electorate, which is not what government is supposed to
be about. Bradley Jay, everybody. Politics editor at Breitbart News. Buddy,
appreciate the time.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Hey, excited for the new show, Chris.

Speaker 7 (35:49):
Right, the show he's making reference to, folks, there. Mr. J,
we sat down with him just before we were starting
to go live on the Torch radio show, the Chris
Salcedo show on Torch radio. So that's what he was
congratulating us about. Congratulations, folks, for finding this Salcedo Storm podcast,
having a listen to what we do here. And if

(36:12):
you find us on Torch radio, all the better. And
remember this, a couple of things, actually, until we visit again.

Speaker 9 (36:18):
First.

Speaker 7 (36:19):
Pick up the book, The Rise of the Liberty-Loving Latino,
A New American Revolution. You can get it at Amazon.
And also remember this. A society's worth isn't measured by
how much power is stolen by government. A society's worth
is measured by how much power is reserved for you
and me. We the people. Keep fighting to save your
country out there, my friends, because it's worth it.
