Speaker 1 (00:04):
And 84% of Americans want the Save America Act!

Speaker 2 (00:12):
But anybody who follows this process closely knows that we
don't have the votes.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
You tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is,
never try.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
The proof that you mailed your ballot on or just
before election day, it's not just a postmark, you can
handwrite the date.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
And that.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
This is this horrible thing to say about.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
They will remove 25 million people off the road.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
midterm convention put on by the republicans and i think
the democrats basically i i think the democrats have done
this once before but i think it's the first time
for the republicans i think that's true anyway i thought
it'd be a good idea to catch up on some
of the things going on politically speaking since there's going

(01:35):
to be an increased coverage here, not only from us,
but from everybody out there in the media on what's
coming up as far as the elections, what's coming up
as far as the choices we're going to be having
here in the midterms, in the fall. And I think
we should start here. His name is Hassan Piker, folks.

(01:59):
This guy is the one getting all of these socialists
and these Marxists elected. He's... Well, he's experiencing some problems,
some performance issues, he says. Not with his performance on
his podcast. I mean, he's saying he's having performance issues

(02:21):
because he's getting so much pressure out there because he's
a jihadist and he's a Marxist. And, well, listen to
his own words. Caution. If you have virgin ears, you
may want to cover them.

Speaker 7 (02:37):
Listen to the doctor to get my annual yearly physical.
And the doctor was shocked because apparently I have very
low blood pressure and it was so low because I
was going to ask him, this was going to be like,
we're going to look at my testosterone levels. We're going
to see if I can get on TRT, all this stuff.

(02:58):
And the doctor literally was like, is my physician for
years at this point, he was like, dog, I can't
draw blood from you. And I was like, why? He's like,
because your blood pressure is so low that if I
draw blood from you right now, you will faint.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
So I'm just a little curious right now. What doctor
says dog? Hey, dog, you're going to faint if I
draw your blood because you're low pressure, man. I'm just, dog.
I would be asking some serious questions about my doctor. Anyway,
so as you can see, Hasan Piker, the embodiment of

(03:35):
the Red-Green Alliance, is out there. He's having some issues, folks,
some health issues.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
I said, what the fuck's going on? I'm like, you know,
I'm experiencing diminished performance in my weight lift. I'm experiencing, like,
I feel like I'm, you know, losing muscle mass.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
What is going on?

Speaker 7 (03:53):
Do I have cancer? What the hell is happening?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Okay, wait. He's experienced diminished performance. And it's weightlifting.

Speaker 8 (04:03):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
He had to clarify that. Okay, so let's just continue.

Speaker 7 (04:08):
I'm much more winded playing basketball than I ever was before.
Is it because I'm 35? Do I have low T?
I'm constantly fatigued. And he was like, do you travel
a lot? And I was like, yes. He's like, do
you have a lot of pressure and a lot of stress?
I was like, I'm sure you've seen the news.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
So yes.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
And then he was like, Okay. Do you drink a
lot of water? I was like, well, I hydrate. And
he's like, what does that mean? Like diet soda.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
I was like, okay.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
How many?

Speaker 7 (04:34):
And I was like, yeah, you know, like four cans.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
He was like, what?

Speaker 7 (04:36):
You know, after I consume two espresso shots in the
morning and then two big cold brews, he was like,
what the fuck are you doing?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Well, there's, there's the sun.

Speaker 7 (04:49):
What was your blood pressure?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (04:51):
I think it was like 90 and like 66 or something.
It was like something insane.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Something insane.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Kind of like you. So there's a son Piker folks
that that's who we're fighting. Uh, we Americans, uh, in
the next election and, and people who think just like,
just like he does. So I just wanted to give
a health update and folks, this is what passes for
a left-wing podcast. And, you know, uh, Doctors that say

(05:21):
dog and all that kind of nonsense. Anyhow, so now
that we've had a listen to the socialists and the Marxists,
let's listen to what's happening on the other side. A Republican,
Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, discussing some revelations that, well,
the Uniparty has put us in a really bad position
and there are several reasons why. Listen.

Speaker 9 (05:42):
To talk about today. Let me put it to you
this way. I think we made a terrible mistake in
this country. Not many years ago. under people that were
in charge at the time, especially at the end of
the Cold War. And that was the idea that the
ability to make things no longer mattered. It didn't matter
any longer where things were made. They were to be
made in the most efficient place at the lowest possible cost.

(06:04):
That meant more profits for the company, lower costs for
the consumers. And that was the way the world would work.
There was this fantasy, really, that the whole world would
become a free enterprise, democracies, and that everyone would look
like us. That ran into reality. the reality that that
is not how human events have ever worked, that the
nation state still does matter, nationalism is still real, national
borders still matter, and that countries are going to always

(06:26):
act in their best interest. But the result of it
is that it de-industrialized America. We lost our ability and
our capacity to make things. And not just big things,
not just the kinds of big machinery and things that
we normally identify with industry, but even some of the
most basic components that are necessary. that underpin economic life,
especially in the 21st century. And we woke up to

(06:48):
the reality just a few years ago that we are
suddenly as a nation dangerously dependent, dangerously dependent on other
nations for all sorts of things that we need, not
simply for our economic vibrancy, but in many cases for
our national security and our very survival as a prosperous
nation state. And so now we are involved in this
endeavor across the board. to try to reverse those mistakes.

(07:11):
And it will be the work of multiple administrations, but
it starts here and it starts now with this one
that is receiving attention at as high as levels. One
way is just the basic ingredients to go into all this,
and it's why you've seen such a focus on access
to not just critical minerals as raw material, but also
to the ability to process them. But the other has
to be the ability to actually make things once again.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, well, that's a problem, kids. And who is responsible
for offshoring all of our manufacturing? Who is responsible for
getting rid of all of our ability to make not
only stuff that's, as Marco was talking about, the stuff
that we would like to have, but stuff we need
to have. Microchips, medicines, and the like. Critical infrastructure. We've

(07:56):
offshored critical infrastructure. And you can thank the Uniparty, Republicans
and Democrats, for making that happen. Vice President J.D. Vance
talking about that.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Finance. I have nothing against the services industry. Obviously, these
are very, very critical parts of our economy. But there
was a principle that was out there, I think fundamentally
a lie that was out there, which is that the
Western economies would transition from being manufacturing economies into being
built around finance and services. And the reality is that
you need all of these things. You need, of course,

(08:30):
a healthy financial sector to get investments into the right industries,
into the right companies, to support the amazing entrepreneurs, some
of whom we have here today, But you cannot run
an economy entirely on services and finance. You have to
have a foundation, and that foundation is always going to
be making stuff. And that's, of course, what manufacturing is.

(08:51):
That principle has really underlined, I would say, all of
the Trump administration's economic policies. We are in the Donald J.
Trump Institute of Peace. And I think that the thing
that Donald Trump will be remembered for, rightfully, is that
he took America... from a bipartisan consensus that existed in Washington,

(09:12):
but not in the heartland of our country, that we
could have an economy without making enough of our own stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
And again, this is a consensus, bipartisan consensus that got
us into this, folks. And I think this is part
of the reason why there's been such a resistance to
America first, to President Trump, to the conservative revolution we've
been watching going on, courtesy of president Trump is that

(09:41):
a lot of people are making money off of us
and their good international friends were making tons of money
and they don't want to disrupt that. They don't want to,
they don't want to get in the way of that.
This is what is at stake. I believe in the
2026 election, it's a, it's pivotal folks that we allow
president trump to finish the job that we allow president

(10:02):
trump to continue to move on and and frankly that
america first succeeds president trump so we can have a
good solid 12 years of nothing but american recovery and
we need it after what the unit party has dished up.
To that end, President Trump is trying to set the tone.

(10:23):
A historic RNC, Republican National Convention, in an off year,
a non-presidential year. And it's coming to the great state
of Texas, a state that has a great business climate.
And that's the reason why so many people are coming here.
And we'll get into it coming up next on the
Salcedo Storm podcast. Are you still feeling the hangover from

(10:45):
the Beijing Biden economy? Not to mention the disease that
is socialized medicine and Obamacare making your wallet feel pretty crummy.
Let American medical plans relieve one burden, health insurance. American
Medical Plan specializes in under 65 health insurance plans that
have zero co-pays and no deductibles. You choose your doctors,
you choose your hospitals. These plans have nothing to do

(11:08):
with your income and are 30 to 60 percent less
than Obamacare. If you're paying too much for your own
health insurance, call American Medical Plans. You deserve better. They
will customize a plan managed and chosen by you, not
the government.

Speaker 5 (11:22):

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Dallas, Texas is where the RNC is descending. President Trump
will be here. JD Vance, uh, uh, Praise God. Senator
Ken Paxton, Senator-elect Ken Paxton, they're all descending on the
American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. And it is going
to be something for the ages, folks, because it's the

(14:37):
first time the Republicans have ever done one of these things,
a midterm convention. Let me bring on Zach Kraft. He
is the RNC's Dallas spokesman. He is a San Diego native,
like your liberty-loving Latino here. Lives in Washington, D.C. with
his wife, Caitlin, and his dog. Is it Lychee? Is
that how you pronounce the dog's name?

Speaker 5 (14:55):
That's close enough, Chris.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Well, how do you pronounce it? Because that's an interesting spelling.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
I mean, it's lychee or lychee.

Speaker 8 (15:02):
I think the fruit is pronounced lychee, but when we
adopted him, they called him lychee.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
So we kind of stuck with it. Got it.

Speaker 8 (15:08):
That is how we say it.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
All right.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Cool, man. Well, hey, welcome. I had no idea until
I saw your bio that you were from San Diego.
I came to Texas from San Diego in 2006 and
never looked back. As you know, our former home state
has been Completely taken over by Marxists and socialists. So
a different discussion for a different day. This gathering of

(15:30):
the RNC in a midterm year, it is historic, yes?

Speaker 5 (15:35):
Yes. Absolutely.

Speaker 8 (15:37):
This is the first time in history either party is
holding a midterm convention. And this Republican convention is so
critical because, as you mentioned, you know, the American people
really have a choice at the ballot box this November,
whether they want this country to look more like Texas
or if they want it to look like, you know,
our failed former home of California. And, you know, when

(15:57):
the people elected President Trump, you know, a couple of
years ago, they elected him to secure the border. They
elected him to deliver the largest middle class tax cut
in history. And they elected him to deliver safe communities.
But Democrats have made clear they are going to try
and undo all of that if they get control of Congress.
You know, right here in Texas, we've heard James Talrico
say he wants to abolish prisons and unleash dangerous criminals

(16:19):
into our communities. Like that is what is at stake
on the ballot this November. And during the next two
days here in Dallas, President Trump, J.D. Vance and all
the other great speakers are going to make that clear
to the American people.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Now, since it's a non-presidential year, this convention will be
different from the typical conventions that we see because there's
not going to be any official party business being done.
So what can folks expect to see?

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 8 (16:43):
There's going to be no actual party business on the
floor with delegates and talking about platforms. What you are
going to see is really just a direct-to-audience conversation.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Speaking from President Trump, J.D.

Speaker 8 (16:54):
Vance, I think we've got 109 great speakers, you know,
Ken Paxton, other, you know, candidates that are in tough
battleground races across this country will speak to the American people,
make the case. And you're also going to hear from
everyday Americans, you know, instead of just having, you know,
politicians come up here and talk about no taxes on tips,
you're going to hear from a bartender possibly who's going
to come up and say, you know, because President Trump

(17:15):
eliminated taxes on tips, they were able to burn home
an extra couple thousand dollars, you know, to support their family.
You might hear from a police officer who's going to say,
you know, because of no tax on overtime, I was
able to keep another couple hundred or a couple hundred dollars,
thousand dollars in their own pocket. And then you're also
just going to hear from angel families who are going
to say, you know, Republicans have secured the border and
protected this country. But don't forget what was going on

(17:37):
under Joe Biden when he was letting murderous, illegal aliens
into this country who killed American citizens. And we sadly
have far too many of these angel families who, you know,
they have lost loved ones to illegal aliens because Joe
Biden and the Democrats, you know, allowed open borders. So
it's just a reminder to the American people that, you know, yes,
President Trump has done such a good job securing the

(17:57):
border and keeping this country safe. But Democrats are so
eager to reopen the border and, you know, really just
allow millions of third world, you know, immigrants to pour
into this country again.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
We cannot let that happen.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Now, you mentioned some of the headlining speakers. Maybe give
me an example of a couple of more. And then
let me know what kind of feedback you're getting from
the biased press, the conventional media, ABC, NBC, CBS. Will
they be covering the RNC or will they be doing
what they've been doing to this president a lot, which

(18:30):
is trying to hide what he's been doing, trying to
hide what he's been saying, in particular when he makes
announcements of great import to the country? What kind of
media cooperation is the RNC getting?

Speaker 8 (18:41):
You know, a couple of the speakers I'd love to highlight,
I think obviously Ken Paxton, as you talked about at
the opening note, this might be the most important Senate
race in the country. between ken paxton and james talrico
here in texas i mean you just look at what
the two of them stand for i mean talrico thinks
they're six genders he wants you know kids to have
sex change surgeries abolish prisons like you just go down
the list it's not just insane it's scary so you

(19:03):
know ken paxton's gonna have a nice prime time spot
he's gonna be speaking he's gonna be talking about his
race why it's so important uh you're also gonna hear
from brandon gill you know he's an up-and-coming star in
the republican party you're gonna hear from You know, Mike Rogers,
you know, one of the Republican.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
Candidates in Michigan.

Speaker 8 (19:19):
You're going to hear from, you know, really just a
great group of candidates that are making the case for
what's on the ballot this year. But in terms of media,
I mean, we have an outstanding turnout so far for media.
You know, we anticipate that they're going to come and cover.
But ultimately, you know, it's about the programming. And that's
why we really are encouraging all the American people to
tune in. You'll have President Trump. delivering his keynote address

(19:40):
on Wednesday night. Vice President J.D. Vance will be delivering
his keynote address on Thursday night. And then following that,
President Trump will be delivering a special announcement to close
out the convention on Thursday. So we anticipate that major
media outlets will cover this because To be honest, President
Trump is just a ratings bonanza for them. As much
as they hate him, as much as they have Trump

(20:01):
derangement syndrome, when he's on TV, people tune in and
their ratings go crazy. So no matter how much the
fake news wants to say they hate Trump, secretly, they
love him.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Okay, I got you. Zach Kraft is our guest right now, folks.
He is the RNC's Dallas spokesperson. He's a San Diego
native and he lives in D.C. with his wife and
his dog. And so this convention, as we mentioned already, historic,
this is the first convention where the GOP... must grapple with, with, well,

(20:31):
an opposition party that is dedicated socialists and communists. Now
that aside from this being the first midterm convention to happen,
it's historic in the nature of the Republicans are facing
an anti-American political party in the Democrats, a full blown
declared anti-American party. Is there a real sense of that

(20:54):
at the Republican National Committee? Did they do they recognize
the nature of the other side fully?

Speaker 8 (21:00):
I would say, I mean, I think you look around,
there's just no, quote unquote, moderate Democrats anymore.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
The party has gone so far to the left.

Speaker 8 (21:07):
I mean, one on the issue of, you know, socialism,
you know, there's there's no room for moderates anymore. Every
single Democrat is openly embracing socialism, in some cases communism.
But then you just run down the list of, you know,
some of these other candidates. You know, we've got a
Democrat running in Iowa, Sarah Trump Garriott. She officiated a
satanic wedding and has criticized Christians for not embracing pagan witchcraft.

(21:29):
I mean, it's deranged. Then you go up to Michigan,
you know, you've got Abdul El-Said, and he pals around
with people who, you know, say America deserved 9-11. You know,
you come down... I don't know, you want to go
out to Colorado? We've got a great race out there
with Gabe Evans in Colorado's 8th district. The Democrat he's
running against is this crazy vegan individual who, I'm not

(21:51):
kidding when I say this, he believes in the animal
liberation movement. You should definitely look this up. They want
to take away cows from ranchers and send them to
sanctuaries and ban animal agriculture, which why that's so insane
is the district he's running in is the ranching hub
in the capital of Colorado. So it's like these, the
people Democrats are running, it's not just that they're so

(22:12):
far to the left. It's they're a threat to, you know,
our very way of life, whether it's here in Texas, Colorado, Iowa.
I mean, the Democrats have worked so far to the
left and you know, this, that's frankly why the States
just could not be hired for this midterms. It's not just,
you know, who disagrees on little issues. This is truly
about crazy versus common sense this November.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
No, true, true. It's, it's, it's, It's common sense versus communism,
in my humble opinion. And sometimes I think those who
call themselves Republicans in elected office don't have a real
sense or are trying to hide the reality of their
quote-unquote good Democrat friends, those who work inside the Senate

(22:52):
and inside the House. So let's talk about the themes
from the convention. It's a two-day convention. What kind of
themes will be covered today? More extensively, just give me
some examples of the topics we're going to hear talked about.

Speaker 8 (23:07):
Yeah, I think you'll start with some policy discussions like
the working families tax cuts and just highlight the economic
benefits to the American people of President Trump's agenda. We'll
certainly talk about the border. That's been central to President
Trump's political rise. The American people are frustrated with open borders,
and he was the only one truly listening at that time.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
So you'll certainly hear that.

Speaker 8 (23:27):
Obviously, we're coming up on the one-year anniversary of Charlie
Kirk's tragic assassination. So he was a dear friend to
President Trump and many people in this administration. So you're
certainly going to see him uh, be honored in a really,
you know, special way is what I would say. Um,
you know, he was an incredible individual who inspired so many,
it was taken far too soon. So you're going to
see him honored in a proper way. Obviously the end

(23:49):
of the week, you know, we're coming up on the
25th anniversary of nine 11, another solemn occasion.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
So you'll, you'll see that and our country will be honored.

Speaker 8 (23:57):
Um, so there'll be some, some solemn moments with those,
but you also see some, you know, some very high moments.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
It's the 250th anniversary of America this year.

Speaker 8 (24:04):
Um, And, you know, President Trump loves this country. He
loves the American people. So you'll see some nice, you know,
patriotic events with that. And then just really just closing
it out with highlighting the contrast between what Republicans are
for and what Democrats are for, because that ultimately is
the biggest message of this midterms and of this Republican
convention is the American people have a choice at the

(24:25):
ballot box. And we intend to make that extremely clear
this week during our two day conference. programming and just
show them, look, this is what Republicans believe. We want
to improve your lives. We want to keep your community safe.
We want to secure the border. We want to cut
your taxes. Democrats are not just against that. They want
to ban oil and gas. They want open borders. And
if they get any wick of power, they're going to

(24:46):
try and throw President Trump and his entire family in
jail again.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
We saw it happen the first time and we cannot
let that happen.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
It's crazy, though, the way you laid it all out
and the way we've been talking about it this morning.
I mean, you got a short work week as it
is because of Labor Day. So you got the Labor
Day Mondays out. Then you guys probably had still, you know,
you guys probably labored on Labor Day there at the RNC.
And then you've got, as you said, Charlie Kirk's assassination,
marking the assassination and honoring him. And again, he in

(25:17):
my mind is a victim of this communist, this communist cabal,
this left wing violent cabal that we're we're sadly being
burdened with in this country. You got the anniversary of 9-11.
You got the RNC going on. It's just an awful
lot going on. And I guess at the end of
the program that you over the over the two days.

(25:38):
When the American people digest what they just witnessed, what
is it that the RNC wants them to take away?
What do you want to leave the American people with
as a lasting impression, maybe from this point going into
the fall?

Speaker 8 (25:54):
You know, I can't emphasize enough just the contrast between
Republicans and Democrats and why this midterms could be the
most consequential midterm election of our lives. You know, like
we were pointing out, it's it's as you said it best.
It's it's common sense versus communism. You know, the Democrats,
they want to turn this country into a third world hellhole.
And frankly, it will destroy America. You know, as you

(26:16):
were mentioning, just the way Democrats responded when Charlie Kirk
was killed was one of the most disgusting things I've
ever seen in my life. You know, I mean, we've
seen in Texas with James Tallarico's mentor, you know, joke
that he wished president Trump was assassinated. Like this, the
Democrats have frankly just taken such a disgusting turn into craziness.
So we just really want to drive home the American people,

(26:38):
how critical it is, not only that they get out
to vote, but that they get their friends out to vote.
You know, we know you love president Trump. And if
you love president Trump, you know, you cannot sit at
home this election. The States are far too high, not
just for you, but.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
For this country. And so we want to make that
clear over this two day period.

Speaker 8 (26:55):
And really just remind everyone, you know, you turned out
to vote for President Trump two years ago. You turned
out to vote for him in 2016, 2020. We need
you one more time to get out to vote, support
President Trump, support Republicans.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
If you're in Texas, support Ken Paxton.

Speaker 8 (27:07):
You know, make sure these candidates get across the finish
line and Republicans maintain control of the House, maintain control
of the Senate.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
So President Trump has two more years, you.

Speaker 8 (27:15):
Know, to save this country, frankly, because if Democrats get
in control, you know, it's going to be scary.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
And I frankly don't know what they're going to do,
but it won't be good.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Very scary. Zach Kraft, everybody, is the RNC's Dallas spokesman.
He's on the ground. I hope to meet him and
shake his hand when we get out there to the
RNC on Wednesday and Thursday. Zach, thank you very much.
Appreciate the time.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
Hey, thanks.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
That puts a wrap on this Salcedo Storm podcast. Do
me a favor, kids. Visit a couple of websites, TexasScoreCard.com
and ChrisSalcedo.com. You'll get all the news and information about
the show, all the news and information that's fit to
print in the state of Texas. And, of course, big
in the state of Texas, the RNC visiting and all

(27:58):
of the excitement surrounding that. And also remember this until
we visit again, my friends. A society's worth isn't measured
by how much power is stolen by an out-of-control government.
A society's worth is measured by how much power is
reserved for you and me. We, the people. Keep fighting
to save your country, my friends, because it's worth it.
