#155 - Help for the Homeless, with Mel Berger (Wisdom Wednesday)
March 8, 2016•26 min
This week, I had the privilege of volunteering with the Emergency Shelter Partnership here in Westchester County, NY, giving a group of homeless people a place to sleep every night, and feeding them dinner, breakfast, and a bag lunch. I was inspired by the people who work for ESP and by the people they serve. Mel Berger is the founder of this program, and today on the show, he talks about how it got started, what it does, and why it's so important.
I hope this interview changes people's opinions and perspectives about the homeless, and I hope it inspires everyone listening to help someone in need in whatever way has meaning for them.
