Lord, and you know me.You know when I sit and when I
rise. You perceive my thoughts fromafar. You discern my going out and

my lying down. You are familiarwith all of my ways. Before a
word is on my tongue, youLord know it completely. You hem me
in behind and before, and youlay your hand upon me. Such knowledge

is too wonderful for me, toolofty for me to attain. Where can
I go from your spirit? Wherecan I flee from your presence? If
I go up to heavens, youare there. If I make my bed
in depth, you are there.If I rise on the wings of the

dawn, if I settle on thefar side of the sea, even there,
your hand will guide me. Yourright hand will hold me fast.
If I say surely, the darknesswill hide me, and the light become
night around me, even the darknesswill not be dark to you. The

For you created my inmost being,You knit me together in my mother's womb.

I know that full well. Myframe was not hidden from you when
I was made in that secret place. When I was wooing together in the

is the sum of them? WereI to count them, they would outnumber
the grains of the scent. WhenI am awake, I am still with

Your adversaries misuse your name. DoI not hate those who hate you?
Lord? And abhor those who arein rebellion against you? I have nothing
but hatred for them. I countthem as my enemies. Search me,

God, and know my heart.Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive wayin me, and lead me in a
way everlasting Verses twenty three to twentyfour. Is a prayer, Father God,

I come before you. You knowmy thoughts before a word is on
my tongue. You know it completely. You know when I sit, you
know when I rise, you perceivemy thoughts from afar. You have searched

me, Lord, and you knowme. Test me and my anxious thoughts.
If there's anything in me that isdispleasing to you, if there's anything
that is offensive in me, removeit far from me. Cleanse me of

all my unrighteousness, purge me,make me whiter than snow, and lead
me in the way of everlasting.That is what David is saying right here.
Search my god Lord, test meand know my anxious thoughts. If
there's anything displeasing in me, ifthere's anything offensive in me, remove it
