Da qualche giorno, sopra la testa di Pietro sembrava esserci una nuvola.
Non una nuvola vera, nel cielo.
Una nuvola dentro. Non aveva voglia di giocare.
Non aveva voglia di parlare.
Perfino il suo gelato preferito gli sembrava meno dolce. «Cos’hai?» gli chiese la mamma una sera. Pietro scrollò le spalle.
«Niente.» Ma non era vero. Aveva perso la gara di corsa a scuola.
Era arrivato ultimo.
E tutti avevano applaudito il vincitore. Nessuno aveva riso di lui.
Nessuno lo aveva preso in giro.
Ma dentro sentiva quella nuvola grigia. Il giorno dopo andò al parco con il nonno.
Si sedettero sull’erba.
Il cielo era pieno di nuvole bianche. «Vedi quelle?» chiese il nonno.
Pietro annuì...
