Speaker 2 (00:27):
Welcome to your astrological Energy. I'm your host, Carmen Turner's
Shot and this is a show about astrology, spirituality, and
mental health. And I'm really excited to talk about this week.
We just had a major astrological event happened yesterday on Saturday.

(00:48):
We had the planet Uranus went into Gemini, which it's
going to be there for about seven to eight years,
so a big transit that really we've been preparing for
this for a while. Astrologers have been trying to figure
out exactly what is going to happen. So we're going

(01:09):
to talk a little bit about that and Uranus and
Gemini historically and the energy of the week of April
twenty six through May third. We're going to be focusing
on just this coming week, but I want you to
know that this Uranus and Gemini is really going to

(01:31):
be felt today and onward. And the planet, the planet
Uranus is all about unexpected change and awakening, and it
can be shocking, it can be electric. It can kind
of force us to grow and to want to rebel

(01:52):
a little bit and break out of old ways of
doing things. It makes us want to change some than
very deeply. And so it's really amazing that Pluto has
been in Aquarius, which was a major historical astrological event
that happened in twenty twenty five. It went into to

(02:14):
Aquarius for good, I say for good for a long
long time, but it wasn't going to retrograde back into
Capricorn anymore. So last year Pluto made its home in Aquarius,
which is an AirSign, and Uranus is now at home
in Gemini in an AirSign. And you know, what I
feel this shows is that we can see the technology

(02:37):
boom happening in the world. AI and robots and all
these different technology inventions are just exploding and it's becoming big.
You know, there's a lot of ethical concerns about AI.
There's worries about you know, AI taking the place of

(02:57):
people in certain jobs. And I'm a professor of social
work as well, as a therapist and astrologer and taking
lots of AI training. I'm on an AI working group
and higher education and it is now the thing and
that we are required to incorporate AI assignments and teach

(03:22):
students how to use AI ethically. And that is really
this age of Aquarius. This Pluto and Aquarius major major
changes in the way we think and communicate, and same
with Uranus and Gemini. Gemini rules communication, It rules the
third house of how we travel, how we how we speak,

(03:45):
how we talk, how we share knowledge, how we teach journalism, publishing,
you know, all of those things. And I think Uranus
and Gemini for the next seven or eight years is
really going to affect the publishing world. I just think
that there's just so much that that it's going to change,
you know, how we write books, you know, how publishers

(04:08):
do things. And it's already kind of affecting authors. I wrote,
I wrote twelve books on astrology. And the interesting thing
about it is, you know, I wrote these books before
AI was even a thing, and now, you know, some
of these publishers are concerned and have warned authors not

(04:29):
to use AI to write. Of course, to write your book,
you should be writing your book creatively and independently, but
even to have it edit, just to have it edit
your manuscript, because when you upload your manuscript into AI,
it learns it and it takes all your your thoughts
and ideas and it can regurgitate it out. So you're

(04:52):
kind of giving away your your book and ideas before
it's even published. So there's just a lot of controversy
and is warnings. You know that a lot of authors
are getting emails from publishers, So the publishing world is
in a major change in transition with adapting to AI.
So is higher education, so is any kind of teaching field,

(05:15):
because we want students to learn, you know, to research
and use AI you know for certain things, but we
don't want them to be totally dependent and let AI
write their papers for them or do their assignments for them.
So there it really is an ethical issue, you know,
using AI ethically. There's also some concerns. You know, Aquarus

(05:36):
is very into the environment, very into humanitarian causes and
you know, taking care of the earth and innovation and
all these things. And Pluto and Aquarius is also bringing
some challenges with a with technology because it's happening so fast,
and it takes a lot of power and a lot

(05:58):
of water actually to run AI computers. And there's a
lot of controversy. You can see you people picketing, people marching,
people standing up against these AI data centers. I don't
know about you guys, but I live in the Midwest
in Illinois, and there's all these signs no data centers,
no data centers, and I'm like, what the heck's going on,

(06:19):
you know, and those data centers are a for AI.
I mean, this is really becoming a thing across the world.
And even the government has created AI and encouraging you know,
government employees and military members to use the approved government AI,
and it's just really becoming a thing. My husband works

(06:41):
at the VA Hospital and they are encouraging them to
use AI to write SOPs standard operating procedures and write
different policies and documents within the Veterans Affairs Hospital. So
there's just a lot of it's really because I'm a
part of our work and we have to I feel

(07:03):
we have to learn it or we're going to be
left behind in a way. But it's kind of like
it's forced change, and that's what we're feeling now, and
I feel like it's going to even get faster and
quicker with Uranus in Gemini, which happened on April twenty fifth.
So the rest of the week, let's see what plays out.
We'll talk about it each week, but I think a

(07:25):
lot of changes are going to happen and we're going
to see this in the world. So on May first,
we have a full moon in Scorpio. This is a
very you know, anticipated event. We always want to look
at full moons because they really help us to get

(07:46):
in touch with our emotions and to really you know,
let go and forgive. And the thing about a full
moon is it intensifies our emotions. You know. We talk
about this every month, how it brings up hidden things
and deep things within And depending on what sign the

(08:08):
moon the full moon is in, that's the energy that
we're going to be tested with. So during a full moon,
we really need to, you know, learn how to let
go and release and to you know, emotionally detox really
you know, like detox our emotions. My friend Sharyana Boyle,

(08:29):
she comes on once a month and we talk about
astrology and energy and she does cleansing different emotional detox
book series, and it is really about you have to
feel your emotions in order to move them into detox
them or to purge them, or to you know, forgive
or you know, journaling can help things like that. But

(08:53):
this full moon and Scorpio is going to be a
very intense full moon because we have so many planets
and aries right now. I know we talked about that
last week as well. We have you know, we had
Mars went into Aries, we have Mercury and Aries, we
have Saddurn areas of Neptune aaries. We have the Sun

(09:14):
did leave Aries, so it isn't Taurus, but we got
a lot of Aries still going on, which is is
you know, really the same energy as Scorpio. You know,
the ancient ruler of Aries and in Scorpio used to
be Pluto, I mean not Pluto, Mars, and Mars ruled
both Aries and Scorpio. And what happened was when we

(09:36):
discovered Pluto, Pluto then became the planet that was associated
with the sign Scorpio. And both Aries and Scorpio are
known to be passionate and intense. Where Aries is a
fire sign, Scorpio is a water sign that likes to
dive deep, so Scorpio is all about death, rebirth, information, regeneration, healing,

(10:04):
taking risk, diving deep, you know, into things that are uncomfortable,
things that are taboo, and it can bring up a
lot of uncomfortable emotions when we have a full moon
and Scorpio, because it's Scorpio is all about those darker

(10:24):
things in life, like jealousy and rage and hate and
power and control. And it's also about healing and trust
and loyalty and learning to trust, which can be hard
for Scorpios to truly trust someone at percent. So this
is really an intense full moon for everyone, and so

(10:46):
be gentle on yourselves, is my advice, because this energy
can be a little bit challenging. I find that the
full moon and Scorpio, or whenever the moon is in
Scorpio at all, have a really really tough couple of days.
I just feel kind of blaw and a little bit heavy,

(11:07):
and I feel a little bit irritable, like I don't
want to deal with any kind of conflict or drama
and I just want to be left alone, you know.
So it's important to watch those cycles of the moon
so you can see how you're feeling right and so
over the weekend. We're going to have a scorpio that
scorpio moon on May first through you know, through May second,

(11:28):
there through the third guys, so it's going to be
affecting us that weekend, and it's a good time to
to really let yourself feel, you know, even if it's uncomfortable,
and and do things that bring you peace. Do thing,
listen to music, go for a run, soak in a
hot tub, journal watch your favorite show, you know, cuddle

(11:51):
with your pet, whatever brings you some comfort during this
intense full moon. And the biggest thing is to let
yourself express and feel your emotion, because that's what the
full moon's trying to get us to do, is to release.
And sometimes people think that it's a weakness to show
emotion or to cry, and that can be a Scorpio

(12:12):
thing where they don't like to feel vulnerable and they
don't definitely don't want anyone to see them cry or
be vulnerable. But we all can heal. Tears are healing.
It's a way our body releases stress and things like that.
So let yourself have a good cry if you need to,
or a good yell, or go out in the woods

(12:35):
and scream if you want to, you know, whatever you
got to do to deal with this very intense full
moon that we're going to have on me first through
the weekend. Now the beginning of the week, guys, we're
going to feel very balanced and practical and logical and

(12:55):
really kind of crave peace and alone time. And then
when we get into that Scorpio moon, it's going to
be heavy and intensity coming up. So it's a big
shift between Virgo Libra moon into that Scorpio moon and
another main thing happening on May sewid we have this

(13:16):
the planet Mercury, the planet of communication, is going to
be going into Taurus. So this is actually a good
thing because Mercury has been in Aries and Aries is
all about being assertive, being honest, being truthful, being blunt,
but also a little bit assert a little bit too

(13:37):
impulsive and a little bit too assertive at times. They
can just you know, tell you how they feel. They
may you know, vent or be a little irritable. We've
been feeling that we've been feeling this urge to express
ourselves through our words, and there could be a lot
more conflict that we've been going through. I know a

(13:58):
lot of people told me they've had the arguments. They've
had people take things very personally on email and things
like that. It happened to me someone seemed okay, but
they were actually very upset with me that I had
to reschedule our appointment that I had with them, and
they said that they felt awful and hurt by what

(14:20):
by me saying that I was unable to do it.
You know, I wasn't feeling well, it's a long story anyway,
it was awful. They're very angry with me, and I
kept saying, it's all this aries energy. I've apologized. I've
wrote them again and they have not wrote me back,
so I figure, okay, I've done what I can do
to apologize. They misinterpreted my email. It wasn't a personal thing.

(14:43):
It was me and I couldn't do the consultation and
I needed to reschedule. But that kind of vibe is
what we've been going through, Like, wow, I didn't know
that they were so upset or I didn't mean to
make someone so upset, right, So there's been a lot
of that energy going on. And now Mercury is going
to go into Taurus and what that's gonna do. It's

(15:04):
gonna settle us down a little bit, and we're gonna
be a little bit more grounded and more peaceful and
more conscientious about what we say and what we speak
to others. And we're gonna be more like, want to
plan it, like think ahead and plan what we're gonna say.
That's Taurus, because Taurus likes to do things slow, slow,

(15:28):
baby steps, and Aries likes to do things quick, fast
and immediate. You know, they go on their gut instinct.
So we're gonna have a big shift in our thoughts,
in our mind, how we're thinking, how we're communicating starting
on May second. Guys, it's going to be more of
a slow approach and more of a peaceful desire to communicate.

(15:50):
And we may have our thoughts in mind turned more
on finances and you know, maybe worried about that, worried
about money, finance and all those things a little bit
more than we have been. And that's because Taurus rules
the money house, the second house in astrology, Taurus rules security, value,

(16:13):
the future. You know, having a roof over your head,
you know, it's about that comfort. And that's what we're
going to be thinking more about now that the planet
of Communication goes into Taurus, so I'm going to take
a short commercial break and we will be back to
talk about the astrology of April twenty sixth through May third. Hi,

(17:28):

com and book a consultation with me. Today, Welcome back
to your astrological energy. I'm your host, Carmen Turner's shot
and we're here talking about the astrological forecast of April
twenty six through May third, and the big energy that

(17:51):
we're going through really right now is the shift of
Uranness into Gemini. And this marks a seven year old
cycle as well as the full moon and Scorpio that
we're going to have this week.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
So I want to I want to tell you a
little bit about the importance of Uranus and Gemini. And
you probably can see this all over social media Instagram, Facebook,
Lots of astrologers are doing videos about this big event
of Uranus into Gemini, and that's because Uranus has to
do with radical change, upheaval, innovation. And the last couple

(18:30):
times in history that we had Uranus and Gemini we
had we had several wars, and so the same thing
could be said. When Pluto went into Aquarius, we had
a lot of change. And we are currently in the
in a war with Iran, and and that kind of

(18:52):
happened when Saturn and Neptune went into Aries and and Neptune,
you know, rules the sea and ocean, and we it's
highly a war with the Navy where we have a
lot of ships that are in that straight of harr
moves that we're apparently trying to block, and there's an
oil crisis and things like this are going on. This

(19:13):
is all this aris energy, aris rules, battle, war, conflict.
But now with gem Andi going into our Uranus going
into Gemini. This also has to do with technology and
unexpected things with this. And the last time that, the
last couple of times that Uranus was in Gemini, it

(19:35):
was you don't believe this, seventeen seventy four to seventeen
eighty two Uranus was in Gemini, and during that period
we had the American Revolutionary War, and this is also
you know, during the aligning with the Revolutionary colonial and

(19:57):
it led to the Declaration of Independence in seventeen seventy
six actually, which is interesting. And then eighteen fifty eight
to eighteen sixty six we had Uranus into Gemini and
it was there for American Civil War, which was like
eighteen sixty one to eighteen sixty five around then, and

(20:17):
the transit, you know, brought up tensions with you know,
all kinds of you know, the way that we we
lived in the United States. I mean that American Civil
War was a huge thing and for people's freedom and
their rights, and it really changed the United States in
a lot of ways. And then in nineteen forty one

(20:39):
to nineteen forty nine we had Uranus in Gemini and
when it went in there, shortly before that the US
entered World War Two, and that was following the Pearl
Harbor attack in December nineteen forty one, and that's after
that happened. After Uranus went into Gemini, guys, and it
remained in Gemini through the entire war and its aftermath.

(21:03):
And this brought many different technologies and social shifts to
the world. So these dates just really show the cycle
of Uranus. It's a seven year cycle and it's really
just bringing up.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
A lot of.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
A little bit of chaos and a little bit of
an uncertainty that has to do with with technology. You know,
Gemini is all about technology and fast, quick lightning speed.
You know. Uh, Gemini is ruled by its planetary ruler
is Mercury. Mercury is the quick messenger, you know, the

(21:42):
messenger of the gods. So anything that is you know,
quick and fast in email computers, you know, uh, typing words,
you know, AI robots, you know, all this stuff, and
so this just we're on a brand new seven year cycle.
So this isn't a exciting time and history guys, and
we're let's see what plays out the next year or so.

(22:05):
You know, each week we'll I'll highlight things that are
happening and we'll really look at it. You can find
out a lot of information about Uranus and Gemini twenty
twenty six online. There's a lot of a lot of predictions,
a lot of different philosophies about what this will bring
to the world. You know, some people are concerned about,

(22:27):
you know, are we going to end up in another
world war or what's gonna happen? Are we gonna have peace?
We could have peace. You know. Gemini is social and
friendly and intelligent and likes to travel and be on
the move. So negotiating is their thing. They're good at
They're good at negotiating, they're good at talking, and very intelligent.

(22:48):
So there's a lot of that energy that it can bring.
So I want to just share with you for those
of you that are interested, I'm teaching a course on
May tenth for the colleges like Studies, and it's all
about the Twelfth House and astrology, and the twelfth House
is associated with the sign Pisces, and it's about spirituality,

(23:11):
cosmic consciousness, finding our oneness with God, finding our spiritual path.
It's about astrology, psychic abilities, service to others, dreams, sleep, compassion, kindness, escapism, imagination,
artistic abilities. And when planets are in the Twelfth House

(23:32):
in your birth chart or when they transit the Twelfth
House in your birth chart, it's going to awaken your
spiritual gifts and your intuition and your gut instinct and
you could dream things that happen all these kind of things.
So I've done research for the past thirty years about
the Twelfth House and the Eighth House. But I'm teaching

(23:54):
an in depth three hour course on the Twelfth House.
I call it the Mysteries of the Twelfth House Fallen Angel,
and it's going to be a three hour course. You

go to my classes page and you'll see the May

sign up and join me to learn more about the
Twelfth House. If you have planets there, you definitely don't
want to miss this course. I share my research of
