This is a show about astrology, energy and emotions. I'm
really excited to share the astrological update every week with
you here on k MET. And we are discussing the
week of May seventeen through May twenty third. So an

important thing happened yesterday that we talked about last show,
which was a new moon in Taurus. So there was
a new moon in tour Us last yesterday. And this
new moon energy is really going to help us manifest
our goals and dreams and our desires, and it can

really connect us to what we value and financial security,
you know, not just money and finance, but also you
know what we really value as far as our work
and how we make our money and all of those
kind of things. So I don't know, I felt really
good yesterday on Saturday, May sixteen, and I think that
(01:36):
new moon energy is really going to help us all
connect to what we really desire and want to manifest
in our lives. So today, on May seventeen, Mercury, the
planet of communication, is going to enter its ruling sign Gemini.
So in astrology, Mercury is the planet of communication. It's
(01:59):
the planet of you know, variety and adaptability. It's social,
it's intellectual. It loves to talk, write, spread knowledge, spread information.
You know, Mercury is called the messenger, messenger of the gods,
so to speak. And Mercury rules two planets in astrology
(02:24):
out of the twelve. It rules Gemini and Virgo. And
so both of those signs are known to be intellectual,
to love, to analyze, to love to write, to love
to talk, communicate, and teach. So Mercury is going into Gemini,
which is going to be at home there and it's
ruler there. It's going to feel really good, and that

means we're going to be more talkative. You might feel
coming up here the next couple of weeks. You know
that Mercury is going to stay in Gemini, You're going
to feel you know, more social. You know, Gemini is
all about getting out there and connect with people, being flirtatious, friendly, witty, sarcastic.

I love Gemini energy. It's a little bit restless, it's
high energy, it can change at a moment's notice. It's
kind of all over the place. So our mind might
be that way as well. Lately that we just feel
very you know, just feeling very restless and kind of
like multitasking a lot. You know that that can be

really a thing that happens a lot when we have
all this Mercury Gemini energy going on. We're also coming
to the end of Taurus season, so the sun has
been in Taurus for most of the month and it's
really been a grounding thing. People are thinking a lot
(03:50):
more about their health, what they eat, their physical body,
how they connect to their body, how they rest, you know,
how they can connect to nature. And it's been a
very grounding energy of practicality, patience, calming, kind of a calming,

peaceful energy this month. Now Mercury going into Gemini is
going to liven things up for us this week, and
then we also have Mars, the planet of drive, passion, power, action, war, battle, conflict.
It's our passion and where we take action in our life.

Wherever Mars is is where you're going to be really
active in that area of life, in your birth chart
and for the whole world. Right now, Mars is going
to go into Taurus. So Mars has been in Aries,
and I don't know about you guys, but I have
been feeling it and it's been a very tense time.

It's like when Mars went into Aries, I ended up
getting sick, and I've had this really bad cold for
it's going on three weeks now, and I think it
has to do with Mar. You know, aries, rules the head.
So I think a lot of people I've been talking
to have had head colds, aries, rules, headaches, migraines. You know, sinuses.

Anything with the the face, the brain, the head is
associated with the sign aries. So Mars and Aries can
cause those kind of things to happen. So I'm still
recovering from a head cold.

You know, it's it's just been more of a everyone's
been a little bit more on edge. You know, a
lot of my clients and friends and family have told
me they've just felt kind of restless, kind of unsettled,
and just a little bit irritated and frustrated easily. They
just want to react. And that's because Mars has been
and it's ruler Aries, and so with it moving into Taurus,

we're gonna have a big shift this week. Guys. We're
gonna fill a lot more cautious, I would say, even
more mindful of what we say and do and what
we act on. We might be a little bit more slow.
You know, Aries is fast quick, so when Mars is
and Aries, it's even sped up even more. It's like

boom boom boom energy, very intense, high energy. And with
Mars going into an Earth sign Taurus, it's gonna stabilize
us a little bit. And I think we're gonna feel
more grounded this week. I'm looking forward to that. We're
gonna feel more calm and peaceful. Maybe wanna be a
little bit lazy. I don't know about you, guys, but

I have been super busy on the go since as
Mars was in Aries it was. My calendar is booked
up constantly working, and I'm really looking forward to having
some time to rest and be a little bit lazy.
So Taurus is known to like to relax. They like
to work hard, they like to make money, they like security, comfort,

but they also like to eat good food and cut
with a blanket and cuddle with their pet and just
kind of sit around their pajamas when they feel like
it and and just rest. So it's a good it's
a good balance. You know. They're earthy, they're sensual. So
I think that we're gonna, you know, want to do
the things we love to do. Have a nice meal,

watch our favorite show, listen to our favorite music, and
just get a little bit more connected to our artistic
and you know, grounded in a peaceful side. So I
think it's going to be a good thing. We might
be a little bit more concerned about money and finances,
you know, especially when Mars was in areas, I was
(07:39):
wanting to spend money a lot. I like to collect
Polish pottery. It's a hobby I started doing when I
was a military spouse and we lived in Germany for
a few years. Twice we were stationed over there, and
I go on these bus trips with the American military
spouses and we would shop for Polish pottery, mugs, plates,

you name it, and I'm obsessed. I still have a
lady from Poland that I shop from here in the
United States, and I would spend a little bit too much.
And now I'm like, oh, oh, Mars and Taurus is coming,
and i can see my credit card bills from last month,
and I'm like, I need to stop spending my money
and I need to save. So you may feel that
way too with Mars going into Taurus. If you had

a lot of expenses, or if you went on a
trip or vacation, now's the time you're going to have to,
you know, watch the finances a little bit and get
things paid off and be practical and responsible as a
Torus is. And on May eighteen, we have Venus, the
planet of love and relationships, and it's going into this
sign cancer and Venus is all about harmony, beauty, art, love, expression, affection,

and going into cancer. Cancer is the mother the nurture archetype,
and it's all about nurturing ourselves, nurturing others. Our home
and family is going to be of a focus. You know,
we might want to spend more time taking care of
those we love, our partner, our friends, our kids, our parents.

We're gonna want to nurture others. I think it's a
really positive energy and it's gonna be really cozy and
a little bit emotional because cancer is a water sign
and they're known to be very intuitive, and so you
might be more in tune and intuitive about what your
partner needs, what your family members need, and more focused

on that on starting May eighteen, while Venus is in

Mars going into Taurus as we were talking about before
the break, Mercury and Gemini this week, Venus and to
Cancer this week, and then the other big one that

we have on May twenty is the Sun we'll be
moving into Gemini. And so this is an amazing thing
here because we've been in this Tourus season, which is
a little bit more slow motion, making us you know,
work kind of get organized, get things done. You know,

tours is an Earth sign, so it's about you know,
making money, saving money, getting you know, slow going and
being patient to get work done. And now that the
Sun goes into Gemini, I find that during Gemini season,
we get we're more social. And that's because Gemini is
the twin. Okay, it's the twin. It's the communicator of

the zodiac. And I'm gonna tell you a little bit
about the sun, Signed Gemini. This is some excerpts from

is restless. Gemini energy is restless. Gemini is an air sign.
The rule by the planet Mercury, as we talked about
and Gemini is associated with the third house, and what

that means is, you know, the third house is all
about communication. It's all about how we speak, right. It's
also our elementary learning, like our early learning and and
elementary school, middle school, how we learn to read, write,
do math, you know, all those things. It's also short journeys.

The third house is about, you know, traveling around your neighborhood,
your neighbors, your hometown, your friends in the neighborhood. Also,
it's about moving around, you know, traveling around in the neighborhood.
It's also about siblings. So a lot of times, you know,
to see the relation relationship with your siblings, we look
at the third house and the sign Gemini all of

its traits rule that house. So you can see all
of the the similarities that Gemini the third House have
in common. You know, in astrology, each house has a sign,
one of the zodiac signs associated with it, and that's
where it gets. It's it's its area life that it rules.
And so I'm going to tell you some of the

Gemini energies that we're gonna be able to harness. Okay,
if everyone has all twelve signs in their birth chart,
as we talked about. So it's important to remember that
you know, Gemini is somewhere on your birth wheel and

you get that wheel, you can find where the sign
Gemini is. And Gemini looks like it's like two sticks
with like twins, the twins so they're like literally two
two eyes with a top on each. So it's the
twins of the zodiac. And this is the motto of Gemini.

As a Gemini can be indecisive and need to be
allowed to change my mind. I'm a free spirit and
I don't like to be tied down. I'm adaptable and
go with the flow. I am easily bored and need
a lot of mental stimulation. I'm a good conversationalist, and
that means more to me than physical affection or emotional displays.
I enjoy socializing and spending time with friends. Talking and

sharing ideas makes me happy. I can be restless and
enjoyed a track. I love to pursue hobbies and learn,
and so learning new things is big for Gemini. So
we're all gonna be feeling this need to be social
and and and on the go a little bit more
of a restless energy, you know. Gemini energy is energetic
and dependent. It's talkative, it's intelligent, it's indecisive because it's

it's always multitasking, you know. Gemini people can have fifty
things going on in their head and be on one computer,
texting on the other, have three computers up, you know,
and it can drive some people crazy, like Taurus is,
for instance, who they always tell me they like to
do one thing at a time. They can only do
one task at a time and then they can move

on to the next. Gemini is the opposite of that.
So we're coming out of Taurus season. We're going into
Gemini season, guys, So it's gonna be revvved up a
lot more action, a lot more socialization, a lot more
you know, being friendly, going out and connecting with people.
You know, this is a big time. You might feel
little bit more restless, you know when the sun goes

into Gemini on the on the twentieth And another way,
you know, to harness Gemi energy is just to stay
on the go and and Geminis are always seemed to
be in motion. They can get anxious, they can get
into gossip and gab and talking about all kinds of

different topics. And and I had a couple of friends
that were Gemini and the fun thing about it was
is that they would tell me, don't tell me any
secrets because I'll probably repeat it. And they were they
knew themselves, which I thought was great. And they would say,
you know, it's not that I I want to, you know, gossip,
(17:44):
It's just that I'm I love to connect with people.
And when I meet someone that knows someone I know
or knows my friends, I love to open up and share,
you know, what I know and share that information. And
so it's pretty interesting. And I just laughed because I
did have I've had a lot of Gemini friends in
my life that they they couldn't keep a secret. And
I knew that about them. I knew if I've told

them something, they're gonna repeat it. And so but I
loved it when I met at Gemini once that said, listen,
don't tell me anything, because if you don't want anyone
else to know, just make sure you tell me that
and I'll do my best. But they said, sometimes I
just it comes out and I forget and and so
that's the thing with them. They're they're easygoing, they're they're friendly,
they're firtacious, they're adaptable, you know, and with Gemini, you know,

we're meant to harness the mind. Gemini is ruled by
the planet Mercury we talked about, and it's quick. It
loves to speak, it loves to write, you know. It's
associated with television, radio, teaching, bringing knowledge down to a
basic level so everyone can understand it, right, and connecting
with others, social bonds, friendship, you know. They always say

that Geminis tend to marry someone that is a friend,
or they get into love relationships with people that start
out as their friend, which I always found very interesting. Right,
And so the rest of this week, the biggest thing
(19:13):
going on is what we already talked about, Mercury into
Gemini on the seventeenth, Mars and Taurus on the eighteenth,
Venus and cancer on the eighteenth as well, Sun into
Gemini on the twentieth. We have a first quarter moon
on May twenty third, So this is the week of
seventeenth through twenty third of May, just to give your
(19:35):
little heads up as far as the moon cycles go.
This week, on the eighteenth, the moon will you know,
the moon will go into cancer and then the moon
will go into cancer that Tuesday. It's in cancer Wednesday
until later that night the moon will go into Leo. Wednesday,
(19:58):
the twentieth Thursday, the moon is in Leo. So we're
gonna be a little bit more playful, flirtatious. Maybe want
to do something fun, do a hobby, go to a concert,
go out to eat, entertain some friends, you know, just
have some fun. Do something that's fun and getting outdoors,
maybe you know, going swimming, going to the lake, going hiking,
(20:20):
you and where. The first of the week, we might
be more of a homebody because the moon and cancer
is in its home there and it makes us very
connected to the home in our house. We may not
want to leave our house, you know, and we might
just want to stay home and cuddle and clean and
be in our home, cook at home, and then we're
gonna want to get out. By Friday, the twenty second,

we're gonna want to get out, maybe go out to
dinner and go shop and get out around people. And
then even into Saturday, the moon is still in Leo
until that day it goes into Virgos, So there's just
a lot of energy with the moon, you know, and
watch the cycles of the moon is is just so
important for everyone to do. And so this week, guys,

I'm excited. You know, a lot of big Mars and
Venus are the love planets, you know, they're changing signs,
Mercuries the communication planet, it's changing signs. So it really
is a big week and a shift of a lot
of energy for us that we're going to feel. And

the things we love to do. Have a nice meal,
(07:18):
watch our favorite show, listen to our favorite music, and
just get a little bit more connected to our artistic
and you know, grounded in a peaceful side. So I
think it's going to be a good thing. We might
be a little bit more concerned about money and finances,
you know, especially when Mars was in areas, I was
(07:39):
wanting to spend money a lot. I like to collect
Polish pottery. It's a hobby I started doing when I
was a military spouse and we lived in Germany for
a few years. Twice we were stationed over there, and
I go on these bus trips with the American military
spouses and we would shop for Polish pottery, mugs, plates,
(08:00):
you name it, and I'm obsessed. I still have a
lady from Poland that I shop from here in the
United States, and I would spend a little bit too much.
And now I'm like, oh, oh, Mars and Taurus is coming,
and i can see my credit card bills from last month,
and I'm like, I need to stop spending my money
and I need to save. So you may feel that
way too with Mars going into Taurus. If you had
(08:21):
a lot of expenses, or if you went on a
trip or vacation, now's the time you're going to have to,
you know, watch the finances a little bit and get
things paid off and be practical and responsible as a
Torus is. And on May eighteen, we have Venus, the
planet of love and relationships, and it's going into this
sign cancer and Venus is all about harmony, beauty, art, love, expression, affection,
(08:52):
and going into cancer. Cancer is the mother the nurture archetype,
and it's all about nurturing ourselves, nurturing others. Our home
and family is going to be of a focus. You know,
we might want to spend more time taking care of
those we love, our partner, our friends, our kids, our parents.

We're gonna want to nurture others. I think it's a
really positive energy and it's gonna be really cozy and
a little bit emotional because cancer is a water sign
and they're known to be very intuitive, and so you
might be more in tune and intuitive about what your
partner needs, what your family members need, and more focused

on that on starting May eighteen, while Venus is in

heads up. What about those energies. I'm really excited about
Mars going into Taurus as we were talking about before
the break, Mercury and Gemini this week, Venus and to
Cancer this week, and then the other big one that

we have on May twenty is the Sun we'll be
moving into Gemini. And so this is an amazing thing
here because we've been in this Tourus season, which is
a little bit more slow motion, making us you know,
work kind of get organized, get things done. You know,
(12:13):
tours is an Earth sign, so it's about you know,
making money, saving money, getting you know, slow going and
being patient to get work done. And now that the
Sun goes into Gemini, I find that during Gemini season,
we get we're more social. And that's because Gemini is
the twin. Okay, it's the twin. It's the communicator of
(12:37):
the zodiac. And I'm gonna tell you a little bit
about the sun, Signed Gemini. This is some excerpts from

is restless. Gemini energy is restless. Gemini is an air sign.
The rule by the planet Mercury, as we talked about
and Gemini is associated with the third house, and what
(13:21):
that means is, you know, the third house is all
about communication. It's all about how we speak, right. It's
also our elementary learning, like our early learning and and
elementary school, middle school, how we learn to read, write,
do math, you know, all those things. It's also short journeys.
(13:42):
The third house is about, you know, traveling around your neighborhood,
your neighbors, your hometown, your friends in the neighborhood. Also,
it's about moving around, you know, traveling around in the neighborhood.
It's also about siblings. So a lot of times, you know,
to see the relation relationship with your siblings, we look
at the third house and the sign Gemini all of
(14:06):
its traits rule that house. So you can see all
of the the similarities that Gemini the third House have
in common. You know, in astrology, each house has a sign,
one of the zodiac signs associated with it, and that's
where it gets. It's it's its area life that it rules.
And so I'm going to tell you some of the
(14:26):
Gemini energies that we're gonna be able to harness. Okay,
if everyone has all twelve signs in their birth chart,
as we talked about. So it's important to remember that
you know, Gemini is somewhere on your birth wheel and
if you want to get you know, a free birth

looks like, which is what I call it. And when
you get that wheel, you can find where the sign
Gemini is. And Gemini looks like it's like two sticks
with like twins, the twins so they're like literally two
two eyes with a top on each. So it's the
twins of the zodiac. And this is the motto of Gemini.

As a Gemini can be indecisive and need to be
allowed to change my mind. I'm a free spirit and
I don't like to be tied down. I'm adaptable and
go with the flow. I am easily bored and need
a lot of mental stimulation. I'm a good conversationalist, and
that means more to me than physical affection or emotional displays.
I enjoy socializing and spending time with friends. Talking and
(15:56):
sharing ideas makes me happy. I can be restless and
enjoyed a track. I love to pursue hobbies and learn,
and so learning new things is big for Gemini. So
we're all gonna be feeling this need to be social
and and and on the go a little bit more
of a restless energy, you know. Gemini energy is energetic
and dependent. It's talkative, it's intelligent, it's indecisive because it's
(16:21):
it's always multitasking, you know. Gemini people can have fifty
things going on in their head and be on one computer,
texting on the other, have three computers up, you know,
and it can drive some people crazy, like Taurus is,
for instance, who they always tell me they like to
do one thing at a time. They can only do
one task at a time and then they can move
(16:41):
on to the next. Gemini is the opposite of that.
So we're coming out of Taurus season. We're going into
Gemini season, guys, So it's gonna be revvved up a
lot more action, a lot more socialization, a lot more
you know, being friendly, going out and connecting with people.
You know, this is a big time. You might feel
little bit more restless, you know when the sun goes
(17:02):
into Gemini on the on the twentieth And another way,
you know, to harness Gemi energy is just to stay
on the go and and Geminis are always seemed to
be in motion. They can get anxious, they can get
into gossip and gab and talking about all kinds of
(17:23):
different topics. And and I had a couple of friends
that were Gemini and the fun thing about it was
is that they would tell me, don't tell me any
secrets because I'll probably repeat it. And they were they
knew themselves, which I thought was great. And they would say,
you know, it's not that I I want to, you know, gossip,
(17:44):
It's just that I'm I love to connect with people.
And when I meet someone that knows someone I know
or knows my friends, I love to open up and share,
you know, what I know and share that information. And
so it's pretty interesting. And I just laughed because I
did have I've had a lot of Gemini friends in
my life that they they couldn't keep a secret. And
I knew that about them. I knew if I've told
(18:05):
them something, they're gonna repeat it. And so but I
loved it when I met at Gemini once that said, listen,
don't tell me anything, because if you don't want anyone
else to know, just make sure you tell me that
and I'll do my best. But they said, sometimes I
just it comes out and I forget and and so
that's the thing with them. They're they're easygoing, they're they're friendly,
they're firtacious, they're adaptable, you know, and with Gemini, you know,
(18:30):
we're meant to harness the mind. Gemini is ruled by
the planet Mercury we talked about, and it's quick. It
loves to speak, it loves to write, you know. It's
associated with television, radio, teaching, bringing knowledge down to a
basic level so everyone can understand it, right, and connecting
with others, social bonds, friendship, you know. They always say
(18:52):
that Geminis tend to marry someone that is a friend,
or they get into love relationships with people that start
out as their friend, which I always found very interesting. Right,
And so the rest of this week, the biggest thing
(19:13):
going on is what we already talked about, Mercury into
Gemini on the seventeenth, Mars and Taurus on the eighteenth,
Venus and cancer on the eighteenth as well, Sun into
Gemini on the twentieth. We have a first quarter moon
on May twenty third, So this is the week of
seventeenth through twenty third of May, just to give your
(19:35):
little heads up as far as the moon cycles go.
This week, on the eighteenth, the moon will you know,
the moon will go into cancer and then the moon
will go into cancer that Tuesday. It's in cancer Wednesday
until later that night the moon will go into Leo. Wednesday,
(19:58):
the twentieth Thursday, the moon is in Leo. So we're
gonna be a little bit more playful, flirtatious. Maybe want
to do something fun, do a hobby, go to a concert,
go out to eat, entertain some friends, you know, just
have some fun. Do something that's fun and getting outdoors,
maybe you know, going swimming, going to the lake, going hiking,
(20:20):
you and where. The first of the week, we might
be more of a homebody because the moon and cancer
is in its home there and it makes us very
connected to the home in our house. We may not
want to leave our house, you know, and we might
just want to stay home and cuddle and clean and
be in our home, cook at home, and then we're
gonna want to get out. By Friday, the twenty second,
(20:42):
we're gonna want to get out, maybe go out to
dinner and go shop and get out around people. And
then even into Saturday, the moon is still in Leo
until that day it goes into Virgos, So there's just
a lot of energy with the moon, you know, and
watch the cycles of the moon is is just so
important for everyone to do. And so this week, guys,
(21:05):
I'm excited. You know, a lot of big Mars and
Venus are the love planets, you know, they're changing signs,
Mercuries the communication planet, it's changing signs. So it really
is a big week and a shift of a lot
of energy for us that we're going to feel. And
I'm one of the things I want to share with
