Speaker 2 (00:27):
Hi everyone, Welcome to your astrological Energy. I'm your host,
Carmen Turner Shot and this is a show about astrology,
energy and spirituality. And as you know, every week we're
here to give the astrological forecast and the energies impacting
you for the week. And it is May thirty first
through June sixth is the week we're looking at. And
(00:50):
today I'm excited to have a fellow astrologer and author
on the show with me, Linda Moon Rabbit Zaultnik. And
she is the author of an amazing book that's getting
ready to release soon. It's going to be out soon
and it's called Death Charts, an Astrological Tool for the Bereaved.
(01:11):
And she is a veteran astrologer, she's been in practice,
has done over two hundred sessions with grieving clients reading
charts and really has decades of experience to share. So
we're gonna talk a little bit about the energy this week,
and then we're going to get into her book and
her research and her experiences. So welcome, welcome Linda to
(01:32):
the show.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Thank you. It's a pleasure to be here with you.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Thank you. So, you know a lot of the listeners,
you know, they're they're new, you know, to astrology, or
they may not know astrology you know as well as
we do, but they know, you know that that it
affects them and they can fill the energies. And so
with the full moon today in sad you know, what's
your tips for those listening for this full moon energy
(01:59):
to tap in do it and how they might be feeling,
you know, emotionally and things like that.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Well, I feel like this is a very kind of light,
kind of bubbly, you know, maybe a little bit over
the top full moon after a series of full moons
that were kind of more on the heavy and dark side.
And so I live in Minnesota where the weather's gotten glorious,
and I think, well, go for a drive, read a
(02:28):
book by a lake, do something sagittarian, but have fun, laugh,
you know, be social with a Gemini and Sagittarius energy.
I looked at the full moon. I'm going to look
at it again, and I just thought, there isn't anything
troublesome about this full moon. You know, that's good.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
That's good. And you know, I find like the shift
from you know, the moon being in Scorpio was heavy
for people, you know, prior to today, and that can
kind of bring up things, like, you know, emotions. I
find that I'm really feeling kind of in a funk
whenever there is a a Scorpio moon. I don't know
(03:10):
what that is, but I just feel serious and kind
of heavy and kind of want to be by myself.
And that's kind of how it affects me. And and
I talk to everyone you know that you know, because
the moon shifts signs every two to three days, you know, emotionally,
we're gonna feel different, you know, and you know with
(03:31):
the full moon and Sage, I feel like it is
a lighter, happier Sage as you know or you know,
they're big into their beliefs, they're friendly, they're outgoing, they
are optimistic. So I always say tap into the optimism
and seeing the glass half full instead of half empty, right,
now in your life and work and the next couple
of days and kind of I find a full moon
(03:54):
is also a good time to connect with our emotions
and like, if we haven't been having fun and we're
not you know, being social, and we're not you know,
enjoying what we're doing, then this might be a good
time to reflect on that, you know.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
And there are so many planets still and areas which
is firework, Sagittarius, which is fire. So I just get
that feeling of activity, like, let's do something, Let's go somewhere,
let's get fired up about.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Something absolutely absolutely yeah, the you know, the ares energy,
you know, it was pretty intense past couple shows. I
saw it play out in the real world with the
stallium we had in Aries and we're still kind of
under this this umbrella. Is there any you know, other
(04:43):
things that you'd like to share with the audience to
think about astrologically right now that is affecting us, you
know world wide?
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Well, Venus is about to go into cancer on June second,
y that will shift communication and bring kind of more
emotional overtones into things that you know, when we're in
the Gemini season and Mercury's and Gemini. Things are kind
(05:14):
of heady, they're intellectual, they're a little detached. But cancer,
mercury and cancer, people can get their feelings hurt really easily.
There can be imagined rejections. There's a little bit of
that mercury and cancer that needs to take time to
process what's going on. And so I think, you know,
(05:38):
after June second, maybe be a little bit more aware
of people's sensitivities and you know, people won't just be
able to laugh things off quite so easily.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
I like that. Yeah, that is so true. And you know,
I don't really get into the asteroids much, you know
on the show, you know, since we have a lot
of you know, people just learning the basics. But you know,
I do, I do feel you know, I tell everybody
you know, Uranus is in Gemini, Pluto is an Aquarius,
(06:10):
and what a big thing that is affecting the world,
you know, and we're all kind of feeling this energy
with technology and AI and all these things happening quickly.
So but yeah that you know, this week, guys, you know,
we really gonna you know, not a ton going on,
(06:33):
but you know, watching those moon cycles, you know, after
the moon's in sad. You know it's gonna go into
Capricorn midweek. You may start feeling you know, more practical,
more responsible, maybe trying to get more organized. We're more
work focused. You might, you know, after the sad moon
full moon, you may be back to reality so to speak,
like I got to get back on track and go
(06:54):
to work, make money right, save, not spend. So you
might be feeling that way through the so as the
moon changes it, it will influence your emotions. And that's
really the thing I want to focus on with astrology
this week. And then I want to talk about Linda.
Let's talk about your upcoming book, you know, and how
(07:15):
you came to write it. I think it's such an
interesting topic that a lot of listeners will be interested in,
so we'd love to hear more about it.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
And so I have been practicing a practicing astrology for
almost thirty years. In two thousand and five, when my
identical twin was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and I knew
enough about astrology, transiting uranus was opposing our natal suns.
(07:45):
We were about to start into a Saturn return. Yeah,
I thought, oh, there's a separation coming.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
So I never really thought that I would become to
somebody who studied death hearts. But I was with her
when she died, and I had the good fortune of
kind of understanding once I heard the diagnosis that I
better do everything I could to spend as much time
(08:14):
together as possible. So along with grief therapy and along
with anything I could figure out that could help me heal,
I ran a chart. I was there when she died,
and I ran a chart for that day, time and place.
(08:35):
And it didn't make any sense to me for a
long time because I was just too sunk under the
feelings of it. Was as if I don't know how
to say this other than I died absolutely.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Together. We were in a single cell that split into
two exactly, And I knew it's so weird, Karmen, because
I knew that she would die, but there was no
way to prepare for how that would impact me. Absolutely,
So it was just I was just devastated. Wow wow.
But I kept looking at this chart for the daytime
(09:15):
and place, and it kept kind of little pieces of
it would make sense. And then maybe six or seven
years after she had passed, I realized that the south
note was on the ascendant and the death charge. Oh wow,
Oh the stealth. No, there's like a karma completion, isn't it. Yes, didn't.
(09:37):
I entertained the idea that maybe really she had come,
she had finished what she had come for, and I
was not ready for her to leave. But her time
was done. Wow, she had very, very intentionally said goodbye
to everybody in the last couple of weeks of her life. Wow,
she took care of everything.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah, and it was all set. She wented too hospice
and stopped eating and drinking. That ended her life. So
I started thinking about maybe astrology can help other people
who are grieving, and maybe this single chart for the
moment of some passing could have something to say. So
(10:21):
I sent on an email to thirty people in my
client I said I knew really well, and I said,
I'm going to give you a free reading about somebody
who died because I want to learn how it impacted you.
So I spent a couple of years studying with people
I knew really well, and one of the stories I
love to tell that was it completely blew my mind,
(10:42):
but it taught me something so important. So this was
someone who was in her forties and she had lost
her mom when she was in her thirties, and I
knew that it had been this very devastating blow for her.
So she came in and I had the time of death,
I had the date. I'd done all the work, and
she sat down and she started telling me the story
(11:05):
of her mom's diagnosis. Okay, you talked for thirty minutes
without stopping, and then I kind of it, say it
excuse me. I have a bunch of stuff prepared to
talk to about. Would you like to hear it? And
she said just a minute. And then she talked about
the second diagnosis, and she talked about her mom's sister
and this long, involved story, and when that was up,
(11:28):
I said, you know, sorry, we have to end now.
And she took a deep breath and she looked at
me and she said, you know, nobody's ever really listened
to the whole story of what I went through. And
my mom died, wow, very much.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Wow, that's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Well then I realized sometimes people just need someone to
hear them.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
It's flings, it is. I think it reminds me of
the Eighth House, you know, which is my passion, the
House of death, rebirth, transformation, and grief, loss, trauma, and
it's like phoenix energy. And the thing is, though it's taboo.
So with grief, you know, with loss, you know, sexuality
(12:11):
and death and dying. A lot of times people they
don't they just feel very uncomfortable with the topic unless
they have things in their birth chart like a lot
of Scorpio or a lot of Eighth House where they
live it, and they're like, they get it. And people
often just come up and share their lost stories with
Eighth House. People that used to happen to me. People
tell me my wake up, walk up to me the
(12:32):
grocery store, my mom died or my dad died, and
I would listen and I'm like, what is it about me?
And then that's when Astrawgy validated it's my stellium in
the Eighth House, my moon, everything Chiro and so you know,
I talk about that on the show a little bit.
But the thing is is that they need people. Unless
they're around people that understand or that give them a
(12:53):
chance to talk, people don't know what to say, so
they they pretend everything's okay, or they avoid the person
that's greeting.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, people will say to me, I don't want to
mention your sister because it might make you sad, and
I'm like, I'm sad all the time. Thank you. Yes,
now a Dade goes by when I don't think about her,
so you talking it keeps her alive. Yeah, it's hard
for people to understand that it is.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
So to train people, it's like we need some kind
of training and traum informed approach or whatever it is.
But you know, to know that it's okay to talk
about taboo things, and actually we want you to because
you know the hardest part. You know, I've lost a
lot of people. I lost my friend at sixteen from
accidental shooting. That's what kind of got me into strology.
(13:45):
And really that's pretty much what it did. And what
I realize is how everyone, you know, the funeral, everything happens,
and then everyone's you know, checking on you. But then
when the funeral is always like they move on with
life and you're still grieving and you're still in this
space and you're kind of alone, and and that's how
(14:08):
you know, and grievings a process. You know, it can
take it can take many you know, you don't just
go through the Klubler Ross cycles in order. I mean
they can be you know, take years for anger to
come or bargaining or you know, we all just go
through the different healing process in different ways, depend on
our personality, our birch art. So that's amazing. So so
(14:30):
you started looking, you started using astrology as a tool
to help people heal from grief and to process the
energy of really destiny. That's why I love astrology. It's
like like there's you know, you can see the transits
and how they trigger different life events. We know, and
we have research on that, and and so it's you've
(14:52):
been researching this, it's amazing, Like can you share this,
Like what are some similar patterns you see when you
do a death chart for a family member of someone?
Speaker 3 (15:02):
That is okay? So every single death chart that I've
done had a really specific eclipse. So I started studying
solar eclipses and that eighties I was really really lucky
that an astrologer in the Twin Cities where I live
(15:23):
was getting classes on eclipses. Nobody was talking about them
back then. There were no books about them. There was
nothing anyway, so there has to they're usually usually it's
it can be within three to four months of a
solar eclipse, and often the eclipse will either trigger a
needle pattern like I had someone today who had the
(15:48):
sun conjunct Pluto in Libra. Wow at the twenty eighth degree.
And when we have the solar eclipse I think was
in twenty twenty four or twenty nine arees Wow, her
mom died.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Right. But there also are always three or four outer
planet transits, so it isn't a singular thing. Sure, there's
a Saturn transit, there's a Pluto transit. There's all these
very usually within a few degrees. So the eclipse I
just give a four degree or episode. It's a very
(16:23):
small orb and then these outer planet transits. It's almost
as if everything in the birth chart is getting activated
to kind of throw the person into a transformational process.
And I would to say that people don't understand that
(16:44):
loss and grief are catalysts, and there's terrible, it's terrible,
it hurts, it's painful. Yes, And often when you have
honest conversations with people, they'll say, well, yeah, you know,
I lost my mom that. But then it was a
few years later and I really like came into my
own and I started working all this bloody bonde my life.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, they grew true.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
It's yeah, it's almost inevitable.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Well, I'm I'm loving this like I could. I've talked.
I want to talk to you all day. I'm gonna
take a quick commercial break and we will be we
will be right back. But this is amazing, fascinating. Thank
you so much for being on the show. So, uh,
listeners will be right back. You're listening to your astrological energy.

Welcome back to your astrological energy. If you've been tuning in,
I'm here with Linda. She has an amazing book coming
(18:41):
out about astrology, looking at death charts to help families
heal from grief and understand the moment of death, and
looking at astrology as a tool for helping people heal
and understand different aspects and energies. And we were just
talking about how it's so healing and that with death,
(19:04):
you know, that's kind of like with the Eighth House.
When there's a death, there's also it's also birth. So
it's like that regeneration or rebirth, which is something new
is born for that person. It could be resilience or
a new way of living life when you lose a love.
When you know, and I was going to share a
(19:26):
little story. My grandfather passed away in October. He was
ninety years old, and it was when everything the stallion
was in Scorpio, in my fourth house. And the weird
thing about it was he'd been doing fine. He was
an assisted living but the week before he passed away.
My grandmother, who's been a deceased since twenty fifteen. She
(19:49):
was my best friend, my grandma, she was in my dream.
She came in my dream and it was so vivid,
and I was holding a baby. This is why i'm
sharing this because it's an and I'm like, oh, and
she's looking at me, glowing. She looked great, and I'm like, grandma,
and she was emotional. She was laughing, you have a baby,
and the baby was con her nana or something. And
(20:09):
I wake up and I knew instantly something was gonna
happen to my grandpa. And it was just and that's
when I realized, you know, that symbolism of a baby
of art, it's like a new It completely changed my
entire family when he passed. We're still grieving, we're still
trying to figure out because he was such a big
(20:30):
part of our life for so long, and so I
wanted to share, kind of validate what you're saying, but yes,
tell us more. We got, We got. We got about
six minutes so tell us more that you want about
this book and your research. I'm loving this. This is great.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
So the book is divided into three parts. So the
first part is kind of a primer about the stages
of laws, and I reference David Kessler who worked with
Elizabeth Kogler Ross on developing the stage of loss, which
is finding meaning. Astrology is excellent at helping people find meaning. Absolutely,
(21:12):
So that's part one of the book. And then part
two of the book goes into a lot of the astrology,
so following transits of Saturn as they relate to death,
transits of Urinus, transits of Neptune, transits of Pluto, transits
of Chiron, and then the eclipses there's a whole section
on eclipses them. The last third of the book is
(21:36):
fourteen extremely detailed case studies.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Oh nice.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
And the case studies, to me, this is the real
magic of the book. Yeah, because you hear the story
of the survivor. This is what happened, this is when
it happened, even in some cases, this is what I
did to recover. And then there's a whole section on
this is you know, this is the death chart, this
(22:02):
is the by Will chart, This is the eclipse. This
is how it pertains to what happened at that time
and the changes the person went through, And so it's
a real kind of I think of it as a beginning.
I think this feel. My hope is that this will
start a bunch of astrologers being interested in using not
(22:28):
predicting death or you know, any of that stuff, but
really using the counseling part of astrology, this kind of
soul work for people who aren't grieving.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
It has I think, like all the starting points you need.
But people say to me all the time, well did
you do a solar art? Did you? No? I didn't
because it's too much. I did the birth chart, I
did the progression chart, I did the transits, the eclipses
that I pay attend to.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
It's enough, it's enough of a pattern. It's the start,
it's the start, and it's in it, in there, it's
that's the thing you know with something. To me, astrology
is sacred. It's it's a it's a sacred tool. It's
it's energy. There's so much to it, and and when
you know what you know, you know. It's like with
my eighth house, when I was doing my research today,
(23:23):
I know that these patterns exist with one sun moon
in the eighth for instance, where there's a connection to
death or loss of a love one at a young age, okay,
how that changes someone on a deep level and or
some type of you know, loss is always there. And
and they're like, well, we we need you to only
do charts that have stellions. This is what was asked
(23:46):
to me in my research. And I'm like, but you
don't have to have a stallion for this to this
is confirm.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
By real people.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
I mean, like you know, like for thirty years I asked,
it's yes, yes, or they find me because they saw
my book or whatever, and so I did that though
I did the stallion thing, and of course they answered
ninety eight percent time yes to all five patterns. But
the thing is, it's the same thing. What you're doing
shows significant research and it validates people's experiences, It validates
(24:18):
the energies, it validates the trend that what we know
about what happens when certain things happen in the sky.
So to me, it's amazing research you know that you're doing.
And as a social worker, I mean I would love
to work with you in the future. And do something
together because you know, I'm a trauma therapist, a trauma
(24:38):
and I'm a social worker, so I do EMDR. You know,
I do all kinds of things to help people heal
from grief and loss and trauma. And I love what
you're doing with it as a tool of helping people
that are grieving, not predicting death exactly. And that's what people,
you know, shy away from, you know, for ethic reasons.
(24:58):
But what you're doing is like need like there's not
a lot of astrologers out there that have the skills
or the training to do that. You know. To me,
it's psychological counseling and astrology. That's what I do. I
love it. I love what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
And so my twin was a psychotherapist, just completed her
training to be a psychoanalyst.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Oh that takes forever, yes, like a young young in training.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yes, yes, it's Oh good for her. What an amazing
We were coming at healing people from different perspectives, but
we're a book in that kind of healing.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
More so, tell everybody, We've got about two minutes real quick.
