Speaker 1 (00:00):
Anything happens to us.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Can you delete our browser history and throw away that
box under the bed.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I don't think you understand how to brave people are
the shoes he is coming up in just a few minutes.
What do you have on the way, dog?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I woke up this morning to see who won.

Speaker 5 (00:23):
The game last night for the NBA.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Yes, I think I. We were talking about DraftKings bets.
I was one that said nix. Yeah, we'll talk about
that game. And something that happened towards the I don't
know if it was towards the end, but I.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
Laughed out loud.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
You laughed out loud.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Very dangerous situation, and I don't.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Know why I laughed.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, I saw this on TV.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I wanted to say yes about that. Okay, we'll get
to that in just a minute. Jeffrey, what was you
you said right before the break? You what you had
a question or what was a comment?

Speaker 6 (00:55):
Was?

Speaker 7 (00:56):
Yeah, okay, remember how you we've talked about in the past,
how your phone.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Listens to you?

Speaker 6 (01:02):
Uh huh.

Speaker 7 (01:03):
And now I'm getting these like ass or like places
that would be willing to buy a car in any condition.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
They'll give you like whatever dollar value they can and.

Speaker 7 (01:11):
I'm saying to myself, I think maybe I might want
to ask Rover or Gugey about this, because he always
told me before I did something rash, and you criticized
me because I didn't come to you guys for at
least for advice or some guidance and whatnot. So that's
why I thought i'd bring that up.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
So you want to you're asking, Okay, I don't think
you're following. I'm just asking for like a little bit.
I understand clearvoyants here clairvoyance. Okay, all right, Number one,
I don't think your phone is listening to you. You
probably did a search. No, I didn't do a search
at all. It just came up random. I'm the main
Facebook timeline is where I spotted it. Well it Facebook

(01:50):
also knows what your cohorts are are looking at, and
people who will follow you or interact with you are
probably looking up cars for you and figuring out your
car situation, so that has something to do with it.
But you want to know whether you should sell your car.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
To one of those places? Yeah, I mean, like I
keep thinking of myself.

Speaker 7 (02:11):
I mean like I'm just like, what if it's a
I don't know if it's how legitimate that is, how
how honestly are or if it's a scam or whatever
the case may be, because he's the place I've never heard of.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, sure, so I don't have any issue with you.
So I don't know what these places are. But if
your car doesn't run anymore correct correct, so what good
is it going to do sitting in your parking lot.
You might as well get a few hundred bucks for it,
sell it to some sort of junk place, scrap place, whatever.
Now I'm no expert in how you can maximize your

(02:45):
money on that. I've never done that before, so somebody
I'm sure more qualified than me would be able to
tell you where you'd get your most bang for your buck.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
But that's yeah, so I have to sell the car,
which you know, I know I have to get rid
of it, but see if I can't get a little
bit of a bang for the buck.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Of course, yes, I have no issue with with you
doing that. I was went over to Dougie her side
of the table as I had to get a Kleenex
to blow my nose.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
You're so weird. I don't know why this bothers you
so much. Can you go into the trash talk to
about what you're going to do.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
So so I blow my nose and then I throw
the Kleenex into the trash can. And in the trash
can is a ziploc bag. She's holding it up here,
Hold it up there. It's a ziploc bag with hair
on it. A pretzel stick in there. Now, yesterday, yesterday,

(03:42):
this pretzel stick. She had a bunch of these, and
I ate a few of these out of the plastic bag.
And then I said, why did you throw that pretzel
stick away? She goes, I wasn't going to eat it.
I go, yeah, okay, but why'd you throw it away?
Because I wasn't going to eat it it? Now, this

(04:02):
is a person where money is no option at this point.
It's throwing away pretzel rods. One a good pretzel rod.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
So rover a. The rest of the pretzel rods. There
was one broken one left. His dirty hand was in there.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
That's germs rot.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
And I'm like, I'm not going to eat that last one.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
He's just really upset because he wanted to eat.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
There left more than one in there. So you did
it after me.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
I didn't eat. I didn't You.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Don't want to eat any after Rover touched it with his.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Broken I threw it away yesterday and he saw it
today and he's really he can't let it.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Coake wanted to eat it, eating it.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
It's it's you're really, how wasteful Doug he is pretzel rod?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
But that's for the.

Speaker 8 (04:47):
Next day, and ask him, Hey, there was one pretzel
rod left. I'm not going to eat it. Do you
perchance want it?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
It's not going to go bad? Like that's what I
don't want it.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
I don't I don't.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Want she must she throws stuff away like she's very,
very wasteful.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
You're very wasteful.

Speaker 9 (05:08):
You have to admit that that prenzel.

Speaker 8 (05:14):
People.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
I think you do need to eat it's to prove
that you're not. I generally, why not would you like
to bag? It's in a bag?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Right? It never was on the top of the trash.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Was on the top of the trash.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I did not want this. You have to prove that
you're not wasteful. This is it's already in the trash.
But it's not.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
It's in a bad No, it's in the tract it's
in a zipp now, well, now fingering it all up?
Now she throws out more food than anybody you've ever
met in your entire life.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, anytime we have left through her food. I was speaking.

Speaker 7 (05:47):
Sorry, I'm just I just want to say that anytime
we have leftover food, my wife will help me pack
it for my lunch. So do you want to thanks,
I'm good, I gotta. I got a fat salad waiting
for me for my lunch today.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
If opens up something and it's or if Dougie has
the amount of I'll just give you an example, the
amount of meat that she throws out. That's that's her
biggest throwing away lunch meat. Yes, she buys it the
day and she doesn't eat it that day, just in
the trash.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
What's today? Today is Thursday.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
So if I buy lunch meat today, eat it today,
I'll keep it Tomorrow, I'll throw it away Saturday.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, it'll be good for a couple of days. I
get nervous a couple. Dougie look at the expiration date
on the package. Will she gets it from the deli counter? Oh?
How long does that last? I'm not I don't know.
Secured meat, I'm sure forever.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Fresher than the stuff like the package stuff that's like
filled with all kinds of chemicals.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Sh'S what you're getting. It's still cured. It's a bunch
of salt at least five days.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
At least five days. Oh yeah, I never have for
as long as you've known me. I I know.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
It's that's what we're saying.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Your admitted that I.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Didn't throw that out because my finger was doesn't do.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
Doesn't eat it. It's one stick your head.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Put that in there and stuck on that trying to
get some of my d n A perfectly good ziploc bad.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Why aren't you using.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
Those dare you?

Speaker 3 (07:18):
What were I just it just seems the iron are
the It's just interesting to see how the other half lives.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
How do you live? Are you washing?

Speaker 6 (07:25):
That?

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Was?

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Reuse paper towelschool it all together.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
It's one of the sponges instead of toilet paper.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
He's just a toilet paper.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
He takes the two ply and separates it into one ply,
so he gets double the amount of toilet paper wipes.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Now throw away perfectly just. I find it to be.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Rolls gold No, not rolled gold snyders, Oh.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
The goods, the real.

Speaker 10 (07:55):
Good snider rods are pretty good. Well anyways, that I
threw that up. That was weird that you just throw
that out, because it's it's not like something that expires
or goes bad. I mean, I guess it would after
quite a long time. But anyway, all right, you're ridiculous.
I know you have unlimited funds. I don't know why
I'm trying to you need money? Do you need money

(08:16):
for your daughter's car?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
I need money. I don't make a lot of money, and.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
They're just thrown away a prencil perfectly good rods.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
Really, don't you worry about it?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Are you ready for the shoozy Dougie?

Speaker 5 (08:30):
You seem annoyed with me, Charlie.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
It's just it is. It is annoying. You throw away
a perfect well, you send me an insane video. That's
a very annoying an insane video and inshane video.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
I don't even know. There's no context given to the video.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
I don't know if what I'm seeing is what I saw,
I don't want and then she's throwing stuff away on
top of it. If what I saw is what is
actually happening, I don't know. If it's something she just
failed there's a funny joke, or if what I saw.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Is real, you are one of them.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
You want to play this video after the shot people
I've ever seen, I don't know what ninety talk time?
Are you ready for the.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Here we go, Da Shizzy.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
On Rovers Morning Glory.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Senate Republicans move forward yesterday with a seventy two seventy
two billion dollar reconciliation package to fund DHS immigration agencies
through twenty twenty nine, after they stripped out two provisions
that had threatened to sink it. So this Senate issue,
they're going to advance this bill that would fund DHS.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Okay, we're still talking about that, my gosh.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
All right.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
American Airline announced yesterday that they are temporarily suspending six
domestic routes in August and September. It's all because of
the soaring jet fuel costs that has been driven up
by the war. So four of the affected routes involve
flights out of lax and the airline said that none
of the cuts are permanent. They want to make that

(10:11):
very clear, these are not permanent and that customers on
impacted flights will be rebooked or offered refunds. Say, American
is not suspending any routes and definitely is part of
this adjustment. And they said jet fuel accounts for roughly
twenty five percent to thirty percent of airline operating costs,
and the ongoing straight of Hormeu's closure has pushed those
costs sharply up. So American expects that it jet fuel

(10:36):
bill to rise by more than four billion dollars.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
Once the Iran figured out that they can, you know,
they can find a way to control the straight over moves.
They knew they could that could adversely affect the economy
not here, but all over the.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
World, everywhere, and not only So that's how Iran is.

Speaker 7 (10:53):
So that's how this is how Iran is fighting an
asymmetrical method of warfare or economic warfare.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
But I have a friend who has owned a construction
company or a concrete company. Yes, he said, the amount
of the diesel, I mean the price of gas or
all of his trucks.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
He's like, it is like soul crushing.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
This company is about Like, I don't know how we
didn't see this coming with the Iran war. I'm not
I'm just saying it doesn't seem like this was fully
full thought out. And and then and then you'll hear
the they'll go, well, we have we make a bunch
of our own oil in the United States. We don't
need their oil. Okay, But that's not how the world works.

(11:39):
What happens is let's say that I'm producing oil right
here in the United States, okay, and then the oil
for the rest of the world gets cut off. What
do people in other countries? What do they need.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Oil? So what happens.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
What happens to the price of oil on the world.
It does what.

Speaker 7 (12:01):
Goes up because the command goes so because the.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Price goes up. So I'm making my oil right here
in Texas, and I can sell it to Jeffrey for
you know, sixty dollars a barrel, or I can sell
it to Taiwan for one hundred and fifty dollars a barrel.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Who do you think I'm going to sell it to.
You're gonna sell it to Taiwan because you get cars.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
Because everything any world, of any any country's economy, even
around the world, all economies were running one years of
thing supplying demand.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Since there's such an instationable demand for oil, that's has
causing the price to go up because.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
In the oil the supply is not there or it's
in short supply.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
And so there you go.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
What does that do when we sell our oil over there?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
What happens to the oil prices?

Speaker 11 (12:45):
Here?

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It goes up? Any go on there? All right?

Speaker 4 (12:48):
So, Ohio State University has agreed to pay one hundred
million dollars in damages to two hundred and seventy nine
former students who said a campus doctors sexually assaulted them
decades ago. Details of the settlement being finalized, but only
one of the former students who were part of the
five active federal lawsuits against the university did not sign
onto the agreement. The legal battle has been going on

(13:11):
since twenty eighteen, when a former wrestler named Mike Dicebado
came forward with allegations that doctor Richard Strauss sexually abused
him and hundreds of other male athletes under the guys.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
Of Physical Exams.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
You never watched their documentary, Oh, it's so heartbreaking.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Have we talked to the guy, the guy on the show?

Speaker 4 (13:33):
Yeah? So. Jim Jordan, the Republican congressman from Ohio and
former assistant wrestling coach, was among the former coaches that
did Disabado and other former OSU wrestlers accused of having
done nothing to stop the other.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
So I don't know how he didn't know. I think
he knew.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Yay, I think he did too, or at least he
hit roams about it.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Yeah, all right, last night you said you watched the
Knicks game.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
They ended up winning. They beat the Spurs so.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Much until like the last I don't know a few
minutes of the game, and it was like at halftime
it was very close.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I don't it might have even been tied, but real close.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
And the whole game was close, and then the Knicks
just it ran away with it in the end, totally
in the last two minutes. They just run away with it.
It's like San Antonio. I don't know what was going
on there. But yeah, so the s Mark Cuban upset
about us.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Well, he doesn't own either team, but Charlie thinks he does.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
New York beat San Antonio one oh five to ninety
five to win Game one. Game two will be tomorrow night.
And then this is what made me laugh. But it's
very dangerous. I think you have a video of it.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
All right, this is.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
What happened during the game. You said you saw this.

Speaker 5 (14:45):
When you played.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
It is.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
As well, yeah, the guy runs out onto the court
and takes a selfie. This in between or no, this
is in the middle of gameplay. They're literally throwing the
ball yet exactly take it all here watch this and
then they I guess they don't show it to you again.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
But yeah, and that was the replay. I was shocked
that they.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
First of all, it was a shot when the guy
did it originally you see it live, and they didn't
cut away immediately like they normally did, and so they
just let it and then the commentators are like, oh,
guy just ran out onto the court.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
We don't want that, blah blah blah.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
But they didn't cut away, and then they talk about it,
and then they show it in a replay, which they
never ever do because they don't want repeats to get
right out.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Ye out there after right now. A fan just ran
the floor selfie was one of the guys.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Yeah, I don't know, he keeps taking pictures.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Look at that.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Yeah, I mean it's funny, but.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
It's not it's scary.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
In the middle of the he wants to selfie with
wembin Yama or whatever.

Speaker 9 (16:02):
That guy was smiling was number one. Yeah, yeah, that's that.
That victim guy, and he's I don't know what to
make of that guy. I don't know if I like
I don't think I like that guy.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
Why is that?

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Well, he's the guy that when San Antonio was playing
Oklahoma City, they he whispered. It's at the end of
the game, and he whispers into these two dudes's ears
to do a hard foul on some of these guys,
so he like called them to just really blast into
uh a particular player for whatever reason. I don't know
why he did that. Maybe it was justified, maybe it wasn't.

(16:36):
But I thought that was a little bit strange. And
then I saw him in the game last night. He's
throwing elbows around. This guy's got these long ass arms.
I mean, he's he's really like gummy, yeah, and he
looks like he can just snap that guy right in half.
He's like a giant toothpick, just his legs. I can't
stop staring at this guy because he's so I don't
know how tall. This guy is super tall. Yeah, he's

(16:59):
really really tall. I don't know how tall he is,
but he's super tall. His arms go down to like
his ankles. I've never seen somebody with arms like this.
It's just it's just a weird looking dude. And his legs,
his legs have got to be as thick as my pinky.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
Are there any muscles on that?

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Not one muscle. He's a guy of no muscle.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
You should see this guy's legs. I mean, it's so
weird looking. But unlike most guys, like you've seen these
guys that are super tall like that, they can't shoot
three pointers, they can't move around real well, this guy
somehow is able to do it. With as big as
gangly as he is, he's able to he's able to

(17:40):
do it. But I don't know anything about that guy.
But I just something, I don't know. Something in that
last series was kind of rub me the wrong way
about this guy. Seven to three, Hayden says Jesus Christ
seven three seven three. Yeah, I just and I don't

(18:01):
know why. He told it was very obvious, very clear.
You can see, Charlie. You can probably find the video
of that from the last series where he he comes
out of the game there's like thirty seconds left.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
In the game or something, and he.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Tells it the two players coming in to commit hard
fouls on on a particular player or whatever.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
And then these guys they go out there and they.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Do exactly what the dude said and they blast this guy.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
I mean they just completely blast this guy. The other
bigs went in there heart foul.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, seems mac biambo and you saw just that that
blumbly foul to McCain was upgrading to watch.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
The guy just this guy's just as his back. Then
he just gets blasted. Conversation the game is, I don't know.
I don't really don't understand that. I don't know why
he said that, what led up to that. I have
no idea, But the guy I don't know, man. And
then the he celebrated after they made it. It's just
like he broke down, like I don't know.

Speaker 6 (19:06):
Man.

Speaker 5 (19:07):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
That's the Chizzy on Rovers Morning Glory on a bone. Uh.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Oh my god, this guy Joe Oh saying his arms
down to his ankles is a pretty fing racist thing
to say why there has nothing that are you for real?

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Look at the guys got them.

Speaker 5 (19:55):
Arms standing long?

Speaker 2 (19:57):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (19:58):
That has nothing to do with raight He.

Speaker 12 (20:00):
Has the world's longest arms. He's an awkward looking dude.
He's very awkward looking. These are some alien s arm
Can you see it?

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Look at you guess what's going on with that? That's
not a normal human.

Speaker 8 (20:17):
It reminds me a space gym and the Monstars. There's
one that's really.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Long and tall.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
That's the blue one.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Like that, I could just stand at half court and
just put the just put the ball right into the basket.

Speaker 5 (20:29):
Look at that wingspan.

Speaker 13 (20:34):
It's crazy. H Now, somebody says he's seven to four.
Who knows the guys The guy's tall, but he can
shoot like he was shooting three pointers last night.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Most of those guys are so awkward they most of
those guys are that big. They cannot even hit a
free throw, you know, but this dude seems to. But
it wasn't enough.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
It was not enough.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
But I I want his team to win over New
York because number one New York sports fans, New York
City sports fans, what I'm talking about, they're just such
a holes. They're so goddamn obnoxious. I mean, just oh,
give it a rest. What's going on in that game yesterday?
If you look at this, and maybe they mentioned this
in the broadcast. I was kind of watching it until

(21:21):
the second half. Like in the first half, I was
in the shower, so I had it on no volume,
just kind of watching it passively, so I wasn't listening
to the commentators. But here's if you look at this Smith,
if you just put up from my Yeah, what's going
on with all these different colored T shirts that they

(21:42):
have in the in the arena, so every section has
a different color. It's orange, it's pink, it's green, it's
I don't I have no idea what that is. It
looked terrible, looked really bad. I think that looks like garbage. No,
couldn't fine.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Well that's what my wife said, because she was we
were in bed watching this game. Yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
She goes, it must it's Pride month. Maybe it's for
Pride month, And I go, I don't think. So, it's
the end because it's the NBA Finals. Your team finally
is in the NBA Finals, and instead of having whatever
team thing to you know, have.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Everybody in the same color.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
That would look kind of cool, you know, for your
team all in black, it's a blackout or whatever you
have each It's just it's patchwork colors. It looked I
thought it looked terrible, probably why they ended up losing.
So distracting to the players out there.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
Spurs Fiesta colors.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Spurs Fiesta colors, what does that even make?

Speaker 4 (22:50):
The colors reflect the way the franchise operated during the
Greg Popovich years, orange turquoise occasion the playoffs with uniforms
to match, even while the team's colors remain black and silver,
a tribute to Fiesta San Antonio festival that has been Oh.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
They're old, okay, so there's sort of he says, it's
Spurs retro colors.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Here's their old or maybe an older nineteen.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
Eighty nine to two thousand and two.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
That's weird.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, that's not a good look in Jersey. Maybe just
forget about that one.

Speaker 5 (23:26):
That's weird.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Did you win the championship in that jersey? If he did, maybe,
but if he didn't, don't don't bring that. Don't bring
that back.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Yeah, the Spurs, they gave out three different types of
shirts on their Fiesta colors nights so then they oh,
and it matches. That's pretty cool. It matches all the
different where your seats are. That's the color of your shirt,
because the seats are those colors.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
You don't like that.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
I've got to take a break. Carlos in the Bronx,
the meat on Bronx. What do you got for me, Carlos, good.

Speaker 11 (24:04):
Mony, Robert, why you were a hater?

Speaker 1 (24:06):
You want me taking the room of the station?

Speaker 9 (24:10):
Get stations.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
See, that's exactly. This is exactly how New York people are.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
You know.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
It's it's just.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
They're so frigging obnoxious to a game.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
It's like they just and there's such loud mouths. Like
any sporting.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Events, they all have to like you watch that game
last night, there's like ten Knicks fans, and what do
they have to do? They have to like all clamor
to like be who can be the most over the
top obnoxious, trying to high five somebody eighteen rows behind, like.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Listen, exactly, Doozy, he's the hater.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Yeah, he needs to go back to his little condo,
knock himself up away from the world. Okay, you go back,
You go back to your three square front apartment in
the Bronx. They probably it's about eight hundred thousand.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
For four square feet.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm in your city. I'm in your city.

Speaker 9 (25:08):
We took over.

Speaker 11 (25:09):
We're gonna more nets are gonna come here, leave in Ohio,
and we're gonna play com beautiful. As a matter of fact,
America's beautiful.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
I love America, all right, Carlos, look into the future
of America the beautiful. Okay, thank you, Carlos. We'll be
right back on Roverish Morning, Glory. Charlie, you have a
video you wanted to play me or something. Okay, we'll
get to that time. We got to see this in
just a moment. We'll be right back heng on you.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
If these clowns can get ahead, so can you. Ver's mooting, Glody.

(25:58):
What is just a video that you wanted to play
for me, Charlie. I don't know what it is. There's
no explanation to it all I saw. Well, you describe
what you saw. If it's what I think it is.
Let me what are the worst decisions I've ever seen
in my life?

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Hey, you fire up r MGTV at Roverradio dot com
or with the Rover Radio app on your phone, your tablet,
or your TV.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
I'll eve you a minute to do that. I have
no idea. What's the video? Let me see here?

Speaker 3 (26:33):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
What does it start with? Charlie. I'll just play it that.
I don't want to say what it is kind of
kind of gives it away though. All right, it's just
giving you some time here to fire up RMG TV.
What am I looking at?

Speaker 6 (26:50):
Here we go?

Speaker 1 (26:52):
I don't know she sent this to me, So here
you go. Check out what we got? What do you
what do you see? Right off the bat? I see
the back of a jeep. It's a good looking jeep. Gorgeous.
Oh no, what does it say on the front? Rubicon

(27:13):
black and red? Yeah? And then inside the vehicle is
Dougie's daughter. What year? Now?

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Let me just okay, here's what's happening. Here's here's what
I think is happening in this video. And I don't
know for sure. There's no way that Dougie bought that
car for Gianna. Dougie would have bought that car. I
know Dougie very well. She bought that car for herself,

(27:53):
and she's going to give Gianna the current whatever she
drives with the twenty twenty two Jeep a grand chair.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Yeah, very nice.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Yes, that's what she's gonna give to Gianna. I know
how Duji is. Dougie thinks very selfish that that is.
Doug thinks that that's a car that chicks look hot
in for some reason.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
I know her so well and you don't know me.
You don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:22):
I don't think I've ever once thought, oh, you look
hot in this. I have always, for as long as
you've known me, wanted a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon whatever.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
All rubicon, it's a higher end Jeep's daughter. Yeah, I
want to explain it. What's a Rubicon compared to a Wrangler?

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Money?

Speaker 1 (28:48):
That's four door, right, huh, it's beautiful. I don't think it.
Does a Rubicon have to be four door?

Speaker 5 (28:53):
I think longer. I don't know if I've seen a
two door Rubicon.

Speaker 6 (28:58):
I think.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
So you're buying and you don't even know what it
means exactly? Do you need to?

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Did you see how hot that car was? It's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
It's okay.

Speaker 6 (29:07):
For or for you?

Speaker 4 (29:10):
Yesterday I went out to the dealership. I told you
that I was meeting my friend who I worked with
out by my house at the dealership. He moved out
to Amherst at this huge dealership family owned Sliman's and Amherst.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Talk to because they are amazing. If why that would
be if you got any sort of deal I can't
think of plug.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
I'm not kidding anything.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
What are you talking?

Speaker 5 (29:44):
So the guy helped me out.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
The my friends and we looked at a bunch of
different used cars and we were looking at Cherokees and compasses,
and then we found there's it's a huge dealership with
a ton of used cars.

Speaker 5 (30:04):
That Jeep was one of them.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Yeah, she's a talk slot and it.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Has ninety thousand miles on it, which isn't bad.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Right, I mean that's a lot. It's a lot. That
is a lot. So everything you said ninety thousand everything?
How cool? Well yeah, but you said you didn't want that.
But go ahead. She's an eighty. She is keep going.
I love it.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Yeah, this gets better and better. Yes, please, sixteen year
old getting a Jeep Rubicon. No, dude, she's going to
be the one driving.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
I do not have a new car.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
I do not have a new car. That grand Cheroke.
He's here today, I saw it, saying, so go on
finish your story ninety thousand miles year, what year?

Speaker 5 (30:53):
I actually don't even know. You go, she's the world's
dumbest person.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
I thought Jeffrey might be the world's dumbest person.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
When to cars, your actually open, I don't know. And
you're all about safety, safety, safety safe.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
It's a cage. You're in a steel cage.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
It's it's a jeep. Yeah, especially when you're young and
you're taking a curve. Yes, that thing, Yes, the other ones. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
So we went driving in it.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
She loves it so how much.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
Don't worry about it.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
No, that's all. It's just I have my guests written down.
She got whatever.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
And this is no offense to whatever dealership she's giving
a plug.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
Here's friend. It's her friend, gerald Off. I promise you she.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
Did, because they just do. If you're a dealer, no, no,
it's the deal if you if I had a car dealership,
I got that.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Guys.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
I don't think any means. I think she made a
dumb decision for a sixteen year old.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
That's probably I'm not convinced that that's for a sixteen
year old.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
Swear to god, I am not driving a Jeep Rubicon.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
So you're telling me that that's the car you bought
for your daughter. And that's the game plan.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Now you were saying, I'm not driving today, but she
her sixteenth birthday is coming up this week Sunday, Sunday,
So who's.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Going to drive what vehicle?

Speaker 5 (32:14):
I am driving my Grand Cherokee all the time, all
the time.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
It's my vehicle and your daughters from Sunday on. And
that's so the rubicon is her car. Why you do
not buy two cars? She can't be that stupid No,
oh my god, to buy two cars? Plain what you did?

(32:42):
Did they say they by matching cars? Would that be
a bundle so that she can be just like her daughter?
She might have got herself a brand new Grand Cherokee
and threw a rubicon in the mix?

Speaker 6 (32:52):
What did you do? What?

Speaker 1 (32:55):
What did you do?

Speaker 5 (32:56):
You moron?

Speaker 1 (32:57):
We just told Jeffrey, why would you do anything before
you call us to call you?

Speaker 4 (33:03):
Go ahead, a snitzer. You can put the picture up.
Oh there's Gia, hands up, she's so happy.

Speaker 6 (33:14):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (33:16):
That's that Gerald guy?

Speaker 2 (33:17):
And my daughter?

Speaker 5 (33:18):
She got a new jeep.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Talked about it, Yeah, were talking about it for like,
so wait, what is this?

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Like?

Speaker 1 (33:24):
What's that car?

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Behind her.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
What's this?

Speaker 5 (33:26):
That's Gianna's new car? Get the Rubicon.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
I couldn't get the Rubicon because I wanted something different.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
But what is this close? That's her new car?

Speaker 6 (33:40):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (33:41):
It is a used Jeep Compass. You're twenty two?

Speaker 1 (33:47):
How much?

Speaker 5 (33:48):
I'm not gonna tell you about going in today?

Speaker 1 (33:51):
What are you talking about? Why did you go home?

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Then?

Speaker 5 (33:54):
Why are you even going in today? To do the financing?
But I was able to get a good rate because
I so it's about my credit score.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
But how much?

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Not bad?

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Well less than the Rubicon? No? No, how much is
the cost of the car? Really? Okay?

Speaker 5 (34:10):
So hold on, you can talk me what my and
then that that what my credit score is?

Speaker 1 (34:15):
I don't care. How much is the car?

Speaker 5 (34:17):
Seven eighty?

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Ooh, that's not bado?

Speaker 5 (34:20):
How much is that?

Speaker 1 (34:21):
How much does you spend on this thing?

Speaker 5 (34:23):
I'm doing that today. We're going to go figure out numbers,
because nobody buys a.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Car without knowing how much in the car? Was it
twenty grand? It was about twenty about twenty I'm going
to do twenty four.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
No, I'm going to do cash.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
And that doesn't that has nothing to the purcise price
of the vehicles.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Twenty twenty, twenty twenty two, twenty two.

Speaker 5 (34:46):
Nine, twenty twenty two vehicle twenty thousand.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
So, so what.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Your daughter's very all right?

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Just to be clear, because everyone is now confused, the
most confusing way to tell.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Why would she?

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Yes, I knew that would bother you. I didn't realize
it would bother Charlie as much as it did.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Okay, so this room, you showed the video I love
wait for you that video. You didn't end up buying
that car. That's not Youanna's car. You didn't buy that
for yourself.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Not I want it, but I won't get that.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
So you didn't change your car either. No, I'm keeping
high one car was purchased. Just to make this clear,
only forty two compass.

Speaker 5 (35:27):
I'm going today to figure out the financing. Okay, So
a compass, which is she drove it on the highway
or on the state eight.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
How many miles does that car have the compass? Thirty
thirty thousand, Okay, because somebody sent me from that same dealership.
A twenty twenty two cheap compass looks exactly the same
sixteen seventeen thousand dollars, but it has one hundred and
seven thousand miles.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
No, this one was in the uh the detailing ben
He had just gotten it a couple of days ago,
so it was already wasn't in the lot yet.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
He's like, let me show you something. This it's cheaper,
like okay.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
M m okay, So I guess that's I guess that's
better than the real better. So I'll money down and
grand on a car.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
So I was saying, fifteen, how many miles does I
have on it?

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Thirty thirty okay, Yeah it's not I'm sure it has
thirty thousand, okay, because other people have just sent me
one for twenty six thousand, five hundred that they have
at the same dealership.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
No.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
Yeah, yeah, she was in that one. Yeah yeah, yeah,
she was in that one.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
And that was that one is a slightly different color gray,
but it's yes, she did get in that one.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
Mm.

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Chris is upset that you spent twenty thousand dollars on
a sixteen year old's first vehicle.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Okay, any warranty on this vehicle, dre's.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
I don't know find out today.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
It's so good.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
Uh, So I'll put money down and then.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Car dealership stay in business.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
I love that vehicle.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
So then did you guys, did she test drive this?

Speaker 9 (37:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (37:14):
I just said that she did.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Okay, so did drive her?

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Well?

Speaker 6 (37:16):
Good in it?

Speaker 5 (37:17):
She said she likes the breaking. It's got a lot
of safe features in it.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
So we've agreed that she is going to pay for
the insurance and she is paying gas.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
How's she going to pay that? She has no money?

Speaker 4 (37:31):
She has one of the moms has her set to
work and babysit, and she'll also.

Speaker 5 (37:38):
Work the donut truck.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
Never gonna happen, Okay, it just won't. I know how
kids are. It's the same thing as when you buy
them a pet. I'll take it out on a walk,
I'll clean up it spoop every day. That lasts approximately
four days before the kids like it's kind of cold out.
I don't want to take the dog out. It's just yeah,
that's okay. Well you paid twenty five.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
Oh no, no, I can't do twenty five.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
I'm telling you right now, why are you thinking that time?
Just because I'm looking at the cars, the available cars
that they have.

Speaker 5 (38:09):
It was not in the lot we did was one
we go we did go through.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Well, they tell you, they go, oh this is a
secret car.

Speaker 5 (38:15):
No you, he showed me the paperwork owner.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
The owner wants to drive this one, but I'll sell
it to you.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
No, he showed me his calendar.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
He just the person is from my area, worked from home,
didn't drive that much.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Now, the thirty thousand dollars cheap compass, this is twenty
twenty three, it's twenty five grand.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
Well, that one Gianna got in it had only like
eleven it's twenty five thousand. It had very few I
don't remember. We looked at so many, very few miles
on it. So that's why it was more expensive.

Speaker 8 (38:46):
Somebody just called and said that they actually changed the
engine between the twenty twenty two and the twenty twenty
three because they had so many problems with the engine.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Oh no, oh my god, Steve, you're on Rovery's Morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Good morning, Steve, Hey, good morning, thanks.

Speaker 11 (39:03):
I just bought a twenty twenty five cheap compass from
my fiance in December. It just got traded in last
week because it's terrible. I can tell you I paid
twenty five thousand for it. I have four thousand miles.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
If you drive it for a week.

Speaker 11 (39:21):
You'll find out things like, oh, the lights for where
your mirror is in the visor. They're there, but they're
not hooked up by Jeep to save money. Weird stuff.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
That's got a good car. That's all right.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
Actually, I'm sorry that you had an issue.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
I'm excited.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
Which one did you get you twenty twenty two or
at twenty twenty three to twenty twenty two?

Speaker 1 (39:42):
So she has the old engine? Model is that?

Speaker 5 (39:45):
I'm going to be fine.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
So what you're saying, Crystal, the old engine, the old
rotten engine. Huh stop it wait, that's what the listener said. Yeah,
I mean it.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
Relax.

Speaker 8 (39:57):
I can't say anything about Dougie and the car because
I'm a spoiled brat and I drove a very nice
Camaro which I wrecked, and then my stepdad bought us
a brand new Ford Focus after that paid for it
and we never had to make payments or anything. We
drove that car until it died, I mean a decade later.

(40:19):
But your first car you owned you wrecked. Yeah, well,
hopefully this is.

Speaker 5 (40:25):
A sports car. And I hydroplaned on some water entering
the highway.

Speaker 8 (40:28):
I was a dead stop, hit the gas a little
too hard and hydroplaned and hit a cement wall with it.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
But it was a Camaro. But I still I was.

Speaker 8 (40:39):
They bought us a brand new car after that, so
I cannot say anything about her spending whatever she wants
to on her daughter's car.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
How much are you putting down?

Speaker 5 (40:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Am I put so high right now?

Speaker 4 (40:54):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Yeah, it's a low interest rate.

Speaker 5 (40:55):
I don't know, because that's what we're going to do today.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
It looks like just I mean, just an estimate. You
look like four hundred and fifteen dollars a month. No, no,
what do you think?

Speaker 5 (41:04):
So if I put I don't know. I got to figure.

Speaker 4 (41:07):
See if you put a lot down, I put ten,
and then I own a car. I'll own that car.
And then if she well, after you make the payments. Yeah,
so if I owe ten thousand, I loan take a
loan on on ten thousand.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
Yeah, pay that over years. Yeah, you'll eventually own the car.
That'll be great if it's the car still exists. Okay,
I don't think you're not You're underestimated what a sixteen
year old.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Does a vehicle.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
The vehicle is gorgeous car.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
There's nothing wrong with the car.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
There's all kinds of features in it. That will keep
her safe. That's what I want, So call me crazy.
I will do whatever I need to do to keep
her saying.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
Company that somebody. I don't know how you say this
guy's name, he says. The twenty twenty two Jeep Compass
primarily suffers from engine stalling, excessive oil consumption, and severe
electrical gremlins tied to the engine control unit e CU
and auto start stop system. Many of these issues are
linked to the aging two point four Leader Tiger Shark engine,

(42:06):
which generates a disproportionately high number of powertrain complaints.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Oh has that auto stops at the light? It stops?

Speaker 5 (42:14):
It didn't do that when we drove it.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Can you turn it off permanently or only like per
traid don't know it didn't have that because they probably
got into the car turned it off, really because everyone
everyone hates that and it sounds annoying, but it's an
it's immediate pressed. The gas car goes. You don't even
notice it.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Now, you know it?

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Yeah, I drive it with it every day. Literally, I
thought you want to thank you. I thought the same
thing that you like, because when I hear cars do
it like that sucks. It has to take time to
press the gas and the car starts. It's immediate, TOUSI
do what I You guys can get all you want
out of money.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
So twenty grand does that include text, title.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
Everything, all every day, title registration and on I am set?

Speaker 1 (43:06):
