Speaker 2 (00:10):
No, Dougie, it's only gonna get work.

Speaker 1 (00:14):

sure they're good.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Screaming on Roverradio dot com. Rovers Morning Glory starts now,

(00:53):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
What's happening? It is Tuesday, July seventh, twenty twenty six.
Goodbarding gets Rover of glory. I'm Rover dog is here.
Good morning, sir, Charlie is here. Hi, Schnitzer is here,
Crystal is here. Hello, and mister and mister and well

(01:24):
nowhere to be seen. I saw him.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
I thought I heard him he's here because I looked
over thinking it was him, and I saw Rover's car
and I was like, does his car sound like that?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
And then I saw laroque behind you? Ah, but a
very loud car?

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yes it is?

Speaker 5 (01:42):
And all that car's working good? That's a good that's
a good vehicle. Probably only has a day or two couple,
but a motorcycle isn't there?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Now?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
What is his excuse going to be today? I can
tell you.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
But I was like, OK, I forget had my coffee now? Ah,
I gotta take aways Khalifa.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Now, no, he's in the suite. He's in here. What
could he possibly be there? Said it a couple of
times before. I don't know, doesn't make any sense, but
all right.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Well.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I know what you're saying. Oh and nanny did that too.
Oh there he is. Oh, oh, I should it's only
five minutes late. I was just getting my coffee. I
just didn't. I thought, I said, I had a few
more minutes. Why would you think that, did you? Let's
see your watch? Yeah, look at your watch time? What

(02:42):
does that say? Yeah? It is five nine? Why it's
not five fifty nine? Why is your watch shit for
five fifty nine? Why do you carry around an extra
device that tells the wrong time? I had no idea.
What time does it say on your phone? Right now?

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Six?

Speaker 7 (03:00):
Five?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (03:01):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I was kind of going by my uh watch. Put
your lunch in the refrigerator, Yes, I did.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
That's why he goes in there, and he's like, oh am,
I little grab a coffee.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Too, think guy's lady just wow, okay, Well I'm sorry
about being lad.

Speaker 8 (03:14):
So I still had time to uh because I remember
I was I remember I was also a couple of
minutes of late. Having to watch you park, So.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
That's rovers fault.

Speaker 9 (03:25):
So everybody else here got here on time except for
you because you had to watch me park.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Well, I don't wait for you to park to get
to park that big tanky yours. So how did he
get here on time? I was right behind.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Him and he was on time for the show.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
It's the worst excuse. Well whatever, dude, I'm here, So
let's let's do a show. Okay.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Thanks.

Speaker 9 (03:48):
Sky needs every minute he can on the air, because
you know, he needs as much time as possible to
get his three words in. If we start cutting five
minutes out of your appearance time, he'll be.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Down to what is he rollwards? Maybe one word per show.
There's an email about that time. Oh is there?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Okay, all right, let me get into your email. Remember
last week Jeffrey fixed his watch. Did you fix your
watch or did you not fix it? Pretend to fix it?
It's been fixed, yeah he did. But no, it's not
the correct time. It's not well, I.

Speaker 8 (04:17):
Can't help it if the time of clock's off by
five minutes, So you can't help it, he said it.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Why don't you set it to the correct time?

Speaker 9 (04:26):
I mean, I change it right now, do you think
he didn't actually set it last?

Speaker 1 (04:30):
We guess and he didn't because I don't know. I mean,
would have got to sink that fast now, I mean
that is pretty fast to its been a week depends
on the watch. I guess, okay, six or six? You
got it? The six or six?

Speaker 7 (04:42):
Yep?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Cool? Okay, all right, and then he's angry about it.
I'll get to your email here in just a moment.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
Our number is eight six six. Go well over eight
six six nine six seven six eighty three seven.

Speaker 9 (04:53):
That's how you reach the show. You can give us
a call at that number. You can text us at
that number that comes into the studio in real time.
And if you text the word menu to that number,
that gives you options to set your name, profile, picture, location,
so we can see who's texting us. That's helpful to us.
You can make a video call into the show. Text
the word menu to eight sixty six, yo, Rover. I'll

(05:14):
get to your email here. Let's see here, Tim writes,
I wanted to help you out with your Apple Watch.
First off, you do not need to say hey, Siri
win talking to your Apple Watch. You can simply lift
your wrist toward your face and give the command no
hey Siri needed uh and Apple out let's you just
say Siri instead of Hey Siri, depending on your settings,

(05:38):
so your phone may have been trying to understand the
command instead of your watch.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Go ahead, give it a try.

Speaker 9 (05:44):
Uh, Tim, I can tell you that that doesn't work
on my watch, even though the setting is actually set too.
Let's see here. Text Dougie, you're a bitch. No nothing,
absolutely nothing. See. I actually have that setting turned on

(06:04):
on my phone and it doesn't work.

Speaker 10 (06:07):
So once again, everything on the work on the phone
doesn't work, except for your counting of your mileage.

Speaker 9 (06:13):
GPS is different. But GPS is that's perfect. Why wouldn't
it be. I don't know, it's not. It's not connecting
to the internet for any of that stuff. Nothing else
is working. Everything else works just fine.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Text Charlie, you're a douche nothing. Let's see.

Speaker 9 (06:33):
Apple designed it that way so when you're in a
room with other Apple users or in a meeting, you
do not accidentally activate everyone else's SII. You can practically
whisper into the watch and it will still hear you.
Really okay, And I checked my settings, I have that turned.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
On, where all you have to do is lift up
your hand put it towards your face. It doesn't work,
Adam right, So, I think Charlie might be correct about
Rover not actually walking twenty six point two miles. Was
it set up as an outside walk as it was?
If so, you should be able to bring up the
workout data and see the map of your route. Sometimes

(07:12):
with the Apple Watch, it's taking your arm swings and
applying your estimated stride length and applying distance to it.
In other words, when you were being fed by B two,
you were still probably racking up steps in distance. I wasn't,
but I'm standing still lifting your arm to with your food.
You didn't have to lift his arm because she was

(07:32):
feeding them. Also, your stride probably shortened as you fatigued.
For example, when I'm at the gym working out, I
somehow wrack up a ton of steps and distance because
my arm is moving. I bet you can, actually, I
bet you only actually covered twenty miles. You should actually
trace the exact route on Google Maps. I bet it
comes up short. I'll bet you it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Why don't you just do it just to shut back up,
just to shut us up? I mean, why would you
let it's something like stay out there for years and
years and just end the.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Speculation easily, end it really quick. I mean, come on,
does that we.

Speaker 9 (08:10):
Need to dive a little deeper into this. Maybe maybe
we need to take a closer look.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
At this data.

Speaker 9 (08:18):
Patrick writes, you're over All you have to do is
share your workout that recorded the marathon walk with Charlie
to prove that you did the distance.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
It will show the entire route that was done.

Speaker 9 (08:27):
You're correct that the Apple Watch uses GPS, not steps.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Charlie is just a sore loser loser. I didn't do anything.
I'm not a winner or loser anything I've read. When
I searched this before I did the marathon walk, the
complaints that I saw from people were that Apple Watch
under reports the distance walked under report. That's great for you,

(08:53):
that'd be great for interesting. You did say you're going
to show us yesterday and then you never got around
to it for some reason.

Speaker 9 (08:59):
Jakey, good morning RMG crew. First off, I wanted to
congratulate Rover on completing the marathons. Secondly, I want to
say how funny it was on Monday's Aftermath listening to
cheating Charlie and Snitzer try to come up with any
possible way to disprove the accomplishment. Snitzer was using his
wormy little voice to agree with everything Charlie was saying.

(09:20):
Charlie needs the man up and admit that Rover is
the more dominant individual. Also, Rover doesn't need to go
out and show everyone that he can. But I think
after watching the marathon, Rover would have no trouble at
all with the bike kill. I think he could do
it with ease. And Charlie knows this as well. Yes,
he just needs to admit that I am right and
move on.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Yes, love you guys.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Let's do it today after the show, I'll get the bike,
We'll go up the hill.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Let's do that. Yeah, maybe I'll consider that at some
point in the future. Perhaps.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
I mean, it only took me ten years to walk
the marathon, so maybe at age sixty I can hop
on that bike and casually pedal my way up the
small incline.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Twelve percent grade. Mm hmm. Let's see here. Clorinda Rights.

Speaker 9 (10:14):
When I heard you read the list of accolades from nationals,
I was blown away. As a fellow dance mom, I
know that that those are amazing results, Rover. A full
convention scholarship is hundreds of dollars. Most studios require their
dancers to do at least a couple conventions, so this

(10:35):
is a big deal and a huge savings.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Great job, Gianna.

Speaker 9 (10:39):
Also, Dougie, you were in spirit the whole week on
the show because they mentioned nationals.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
I now stop.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
I know they can't take a show without me, or
a week of shows without me.

Speaker 11 (10:50):
I sent a picture to Snits. Oh you sent a
picture to snitz. Aw there is her reward. Oh that's
her scholarship. Zoom in on that, snitz What is it?
What's like the dollar.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Value of this?

Speaker 11 (11:03):
That's a full scholarship, A full scholarship.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Okay, well, congrats, thank you, because I do see. Uh.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
She also sent me. Did you send Snitzer or this
other picture that you sent me?

Speaker 1 (11:18):
What?

Speaker 5 (11:19):
No, let me see here? How can I let me
send this one to Snitzer? Stand by Snitzer?

Speaker 1 (11:32):
What did I send you?

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I send you pictures just to shut you the hell up,
to say that this is the kids work hard and
that you should be.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Proud of them, because all you do is bash.

Speaker 5 (11:45):
I don't bashash, I don't I don't bash bash I
sent Gianna a congratulatory text.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Mass told me last night, Oh is he ago? Did
you apply back? She goes yeah. Was there a conversation?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
He goes, no, of course not.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
What what are we going to talk about? Does he talk?

Speaker 5 (12:04):
What are you going to talk about with a sixteen
year old? I have, yes, exactly.

Speaker 9 (12:10):
So here's a How much did it cost you to
get all the way out there to Mystic Connecticut? You
had to fly from here to Boston? Then what you
rented a car?

Speaker 12 (12:21):
Car?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Rented a car that they gave me an upgrade because
there was a line of people and they gave me
an upgrade just to get me out. And it was
a brand new Volvo. It was beautiful. Have you ever
driven a Volvo?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
A Volvo? No?

Speaker 13 (12:40):
I have not.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah, it was insane. It was so smooth, all right,
and so let me see here. So then you you
got the rental car? Yeah? And what you had to
get a hotel? I the picture? You get it? What
I'm sorry you had to got a hotel? What do
you think that?

Speaker 9 (12:58):
What do you think that whole extended week and her
week trip cost her?

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Well, it's all those entrance fees, all those costumes, or
you're going total for the total total ten grand. I'm
gonna it was not ten grand. Two tickets.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yep, we both flew like two fifty each.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
I bet you did get a regular hotel room, probably
bigger hotel room, because you need costume, you need your trunk, whatever,
some sort of area where we're gonna.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Need this room and give her.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
So she says it's too fifty, But don't forget all
the bags you have to check on top of that,
because all those costumes, and I know he backlighte.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
She packed all her snacks with her. It's a good move.
All take a gas.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I carried the costumes on the plane because they could
not have them get lost.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
And people drove. So you didn't check any bags?

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Going out there, I checked one bag, but coming home
I didn't. I didn't have any bags checked. Everybody took
Where did they go? Everyone drove?

Speaker 5 (13:57):
So what do you think seventy five hundred? No, it's
gonna go a little us when you seventy five hundred not.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
I don't have seventy five hundred, not anymore. You don't.

Speaker 9 (14:04):
I don't think she's not She doesn't calculate things. This
is why her business is always you know, I'm not
sure you're make it? What do you you know? I
don't know how much do you make? What are your costs?
She has no clue. You don't have absolutely no idea
because all that stuff adds up and she doesn't realize it.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
So but she also, it's not seventy five hundred dollars immediately.
I mean this is spread out over like the past
five months, and she noticed it starts adding up seventy
five hundred. What's the picture. The picture is she did
score big bucks.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
So not only did she get this scholarship, okay, all right,
but she did get.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
A major award.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Here it is, this is five hundred dollars. This is
not for Gianna. This is for this dance studio. Her
one of the pieces that she was in was the
highest scoring piece of the entire one.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
She doesn't get that five hundred if you'd.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Let me finish, that goes to the studio. So for
our next competition, that credit goes to the next regional.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
So now we have now we have a less of
a fee. We don't have to pay.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
It's her last year of dance, let's say last year
she's going to do it. She wins again the five
hundred bucks, but.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
It's not her, it's her team. So that goes to THEO,
it goes to the studio. So then the next kids,
the next year will get that credit.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Damn if I would just I would take that check
into the bank and just try to cash them.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
It says the view between villages is the name of
the piece that won, Oh, it's the.

Speaker 9 (15:44):
Name of Oh. So they don't even put the name
of the dance studio on there.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
They send her a check the studio owner. You think
they actually send a check or do they just go,
we'll give you a credit what next year when you
purchase your crap.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I've seen both with different things that we've won. They've
sent money and.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
Then they the credit system is great. Yeah, it keeps
them coming back.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
You're gonna you're gonna have to go back to that.

Speaker 9 (16:07):
We're gonna give you a five hundred dollars credit to
something that's gonna cost your dance studio six thousand dollars
in enrollment fees, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
That is? That's great. We're gonna go back anyway.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
But the scholarship goes directly.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
To the dancer, so that she doesn't have to pay
for convention. You could come one weekend.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
I mean, does they have to explain the scholarship one
more time? Doesn't it's not for school, it's not for
this dance company. It's for something else.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
No, it's this dance company. Okay.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
So when she when you go back to the dance
company this next year, you don't have to pay for
the convention.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Oh okay, this convention, but just next year. Okay. And
conventions are normally dance.

Speaker 9 (16:51):
You have to pay for that. Considering you just told
me that the dance studio. That's why they got the
five hundred dollars check. And that goes towards the dance
studio paying for the convention.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
It goes for the whole dance, all the dances that
are there. So they'll split all of that up, so
that five hundred goes to say that you owe each
piece that you compete, you have to register and.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Pay Oh so each oh, so you have to pay
just to attend.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
I not have to just attend to compete each piece.
So if she does, it doesn't matter, you're not going
to Like branch is.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Different than not regionals and national not competing. It's not Yeah,
it's an all day school that you have to go
to stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Okay, all right, just Brian writes, you're over.

Speaker 9 (17:36):
I want to thank you guys for talking about Coleman's
mustard because I bought the powder on Amazon, and holy crap,
is that stuff amazing. I've only been using it by
mixing it with water to make the paste, but I've
literally just been making sandwiches or inventing reasons for myself
to mix up some I don't recommend corn on the cob,
but I will recommend popcorn. I have a question for

(17:58):
Charlie because he said he's used it as a dry rub.
The powder itself isn't strong, but the people that I
cook for wouldn't appreciate a nasal bomb.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
It is.

Speaker 9 (18:08):
It very intense when you use it as a dry rub.
Try to remember how I used it.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
Uh No, it wasn't too intense, but there's a little
there's it was there. I think I used it as
a binder before I put the rub on, So I
didn't use that as the rub. I used the liquid
Coleman's in the jar, put that on my whatever I
was making brisket or pulled pork or whatever. Then I
put the actual rub on. I didn't use the drypowder
as the rub Corey Wrights rover. Can you please ask

(18:40):
Charlie why he refuses to simply get an HD antennas
so we can watch local channels for free? He asked
Jeffrey the same thing dozens of times, but now he's
doing exactly the same thing.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Oh, I answer that question very simply.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
I have bought them before, and I don't get I
don't remember what channel. What did I trying to watch
before the brown and the game at the time? I
believe was on channel eight here and it didn't come in,
So that's why.

Speaker 9 (19:08):
Well, maybe you don't need the individual Maybe you need
a whole house antenna which is fifty dollars instead of
twenty dollars.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
What is that?

Speaker 9 (19:16):
This way you can watch national and sports events and
not bitch about it not being on air for free. Yes,
I know buying an antenna makes it technically not free,
but paying for streaming services makes those not free as well, so.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
I don't care. It's probably the antenna maybe.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
That goes outside your house up on the roof to
watch the Browns once a year. No, I'm good, and
the World Cup every four years. Don't it's not don't care.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
I did.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
I was able to watch the World Cup. I figured
it out for the last game we'll watch. If you
go to Peacock, you can watch the Telemundo version. You
won't be able to understand anything they're saying at all.
There's no idea and there's no way to change the
audio option. It's English or Span only and you cannot
change the audio to English.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Why I think the English thing you can change the audio?

Speaker 5 (20:07):
I think on purpose. I think I bet most times
you probably could change it. But I think that this
time they go no Fox one or whatever has it.
So I was able to watch What a time? That
That was fun? That was good watch glad I sat
down and watch that.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yef right, Holy yit, Dougie, way to go with your
draft Kinks picks. I wish I would have picked with you.
Oh what happened? Who did you pick? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
I remember I was not a patriot because I went
against the United States, but I knew Belgium.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Would be pissed. You picked Belgium?

Speaker 5 (20:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Oh, so did you hundred bucks? One hundred bucks? Would
they get you back? I don't remember. What's the slip
pay question. I don't know, snitch.

Speaker 9 (20:53):
Do you refresh my memory and put my bet and
slip here?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
See? Oh, you have a three picked parlor.

Speaker 9 (21:01):
I had Lukaku scoring a goal, and I seem to
remember watching the game last night that just before.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
The end of the game, with about a minute or
two left, he scored a goal.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
I could hear you cheering all the way from I
love your soapbod of Belgium got a goal. Now, uh,
the second one?

Speaker 9 (21:18):
The second one over two and a half goals? Now,
let me see here what was the score yesterday? Let's
see you watched that, right, du what I know?

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Four to one? That's over two and a half.

Speaker 7 (21:34):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
And then in the earlier game, Spain and Portugal played.
Let's see who won that?

Speaker 7 (21:40):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (21:41):
Ronaldo who plays for Portugal. He's out of the World Cup.
That means Spain one.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
So my one hundred dollars bet paid out four hundred
and thirty six dollars.

Speaker 9 (21:52):
Oh won the week. Download the Draftking Sports Happened. Use
the code r MG. If this idiot can do it,
so can you, o God Bill Wrights Rover, I love
the show. I have to comment on the soccer games
that you are infatuated with.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
I tried to watch it last night. It's eight fifty
five pm.

Speaker 9 (22:10):
They just broke for the half, even though the clock
said there was fifty six minutes left.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
I don't know what that What he means by that
the clock counts up, not down, by.

Speaker 9 (22:23):
The way that clock goes up and down on its own,
I don't understand that. I guess the thing that bothers
me the most is that these guys are the biggest
floppers I've ever seen in my life.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
It's like watching WWE. The slightest, little little hit. They
roll around on the ground in agony, grabbing the wrong
leg from the one that actually got hit.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
I don't know how you watched this. I don't understand it.
I'm glad it brings people in America together, but I'd
rather watch paint ry stay hydrated.

Speaker 9 (22:50):
Ps. What sport has a hydration break? Well, soccer doesn't
have it either, but they invented it for the World
Cup so they could get commercial breaks in because norm
soccer doesn't have commercial breaks. Yeah, the games yesterday were
not real exciting games. If you're watching those and the

(23:12):
USA game, they blew it. Basically, I knew it was
going to be tough for them because everyone thought that
they were going to do so great. And I think
they did have a shot potentially if they would have
played a great game, I think they could have could
have contended last night. But see, you're at the point
now where you're not playing the teams that suck. There's
a lot of teams that got in. You're not playing

(23:34):
those those teams that completely blow anymore. You're playing legitimate
teams now. And whoever won the game last night between
USA and Belgium would have to go on and face Spain.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
I mean, that's just it's impossible. They're not going to
win that.

Speaker 10 (23:51):
But was that guy in the game, the one he
got the red card? Yes he was, So it didn't help.
I guess it didn't help. No, Oh my god.

Speaker 9 (23:58):
It probably only would have been worse if they would
have gone without him. And that polistic guy that I
told you hasn't appeared. He hasn't a Diddley squad the
whole World Cup. He didn't do Dittley squad last night either,
and then he left with a with an injury. So
every commercial I see, they do it in a commercial,

(24:19):
I need to see him scoring some goals, not in
all these commercials and David Beckham? Could they put this
guy in any more commercials? Every literally, it doesn't matter
what the product is. Hi, I'm David Beckham for tamp
Ax like he is in every commercial.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
That's okay, He's famous. Is the only soccer player that that?

Speaker 9 (24:41):
Perhaps ten percent of Americans could see that and know
who that guy is?

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I'll bet only how many? What would you say?

Speaker 7 (24:49):
Now?

Speaker 9 (24:49):
Maybe because people have asked, but if you would have
shown a picture of David Beckham to a random American.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Six months ago? How many?

Speaker 9 (24:58):
What percentage do you think would know who guy is?
And he's pretty, he was married from Spice and oh,
I'd say at least fifty? Oh not fifty? Yeah, no, no,
let me look at him. Definitely not fifty.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Put a picture up.

Speaker 5 (25:14):
I would confuse him with the guy from Maroon five,
the guy Adam Levine. Yeah they both tattooed though, Yeah, yep,
I would I would know the difference.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Oh, come on, he doesn't look anything like he might not.
But I don't look at either of these guys often.
So if you will have.

Speaker 9 (25:30):
If he walked out his background on his computer, that
shirtless David Beckham is hot.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
If he walked out as the lead singer of Maroon five,
I'd be like, oh, okay, I wouldn't even notice it.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Will Pharah play drums for the Peppers?

Speaker 5 (25:46):
But isn't it Like the most famous soccer player in
America hasn't played in twenty years and he's not from America.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Like that's how Americans just don't care about soccer. Like everybody.

Speaker 9 (26:01):
I'm telling you, everybody they got If you're into soccer
and you're a soccer announcer or a commentator or whatever,
that was your time to shine because no one's gonna
care now until the war. Actually, even the next World
Cup people won't care either slightly. They'll follow Team USA
if they make it, but it's not being played in

(26:22):
the United States, so way less people are going to
care about it four years from now. All right, I've
got to take a break. Our number is eight sixty six, yo.
Rover will be right back.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Hang on. I don't think you understand how to brave
people are Charlie, I have some life advice for you.
Or Sean says, you need an outdoor antenna roughly twenty
five feet up from the ground. Jules says, you can

(27:00):
watch every World Cup soccer game live on TikTok. Just
follow the Fox channel took him out of the World Cup.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
And Hugh janis oh okay, sent a picture of his screen.

Speaker 9 (27:16):
Would you like to see this? You could watch the
World Cup on your TV. That way you don't have to,
you know, use TikTok.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
There, just look, he says, a little section there, World
Cup twenty twenty six. That's on his Oh that's a
VC bus V sir, that's on his VC box. Yes
it is. I can't believe you watched that. That's the
most boring thing I've ever seen ever. That was so
born last night. Soccer in general, it's such a boring.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Now you've missed from really great matches, the ones yesterday
not so great, not not really exciting to watch.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
You told me to watch this one and I went
out of my way and I had Spain versus Portugal
on word out of my mind.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
That was really boring. I was like, nobody he's watching. Yeah,
and then the then USA started it on all day
in between, and it was also Telemundo, So I don't
know what they're saying.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
I will say what's interesting is so I played the
sound effect. I thought this guy was just doing this
like once, oh every time, But it's actually this guy
this he would say it every time, he'd do it
three or four times, this exact voice everything to a team.
I was like, I thought, he's just really excited this

(28:30):
one time. That's why I'm the famous guy.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
I don't know what his name is, but he's known
for like some Spanish dude that well he goes off
and maybe they all do it now, but it was
definitely that guy exactly, and uh yeah, that was born.
That sucked. Well that I guess.

Speaker 9 (28:49):
It's not the most exciting sport, not not maybe not
as exciting as marathon walking. Now, yesterday Adam sentiment email.
I think I read it and he's like, yeah, I
agree with Charlie. You didn't You didn't really walk a marathon.
You need to if you recorded the workout on your

(29:09):
Apple Watch, you need to get to the data and
show everyone.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Well I didn't know this, but.

Speaker 9 (29:17):
Your Apple Watch you can actually export all of your
health data, including your workouts and your workout routes, and
the workout route file is in something called the GPX file. Now,
this GPX file I exported that and here indeed is

(29:37):
the let me see here, which is there's the route
that I took to that's the route that I took there. Wow,
throughout London to walk by twenty six point two miles
my marathon. And you can even you know, you can
go through. Uh oh, let me expand this, su let
me expand this. Okay, you started up here. Uh we

(30:00):
started at the green and yeah you can kind of
like go through and uh you can see.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Oh, look at all the elevation change by the way.
Oh hell yeah, it's going down elevation. No, no, it's
going up. It's going up up up the elevations. Dog
right here, I'll look at all this elevator up up.
I'll look at all this elevation at the end. Oh
my god, look at this all it's over and walking weird,

(30:30):
look at this. Let me go back to the beginning.
Let's see here. How do I Where is it? Where
can I?

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Can you exp me? I'd love to I'd love to
go over this. Can you send it to me?

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Yeah? Absolutely, I just said it right now. Oh wait,
hold on, I want to get into it. Oh oh,
what's a total list? Oh no, the thirty nine thousand
GPS points show a walking distance of twenty eight point
six four miles. Oh my goodness, what time? Uh? I

(31:04):
don't know what time? What do you mean for you?
Did you have a day and time on the bottom
left corner? I don't know what these times over here?
I'm passing.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
Did you stop to watch as soon as you got
to the bar? Did it count you going back home?

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Or no?

Speaker 6 (31:16):
No?

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Did I ambulance? I believe I I to stop the workout.
Let's see.

Speaker 9 (31:21):
It says I'm guessing eleven hours and nine minutes. So
the actual uh time was ten hours fifty seven minutes,
so it did get the extra thirty feet. I walked
into the pub, so uh, and then I did stop
the workout there eleven on high. Oh so yes, I
think uh, twenty eight point six four miles is said

(31:44):
that overel. Can I send that to you? Yeah, I'll
send you the file. I'd love to look.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
I'd love to pour over the numbers you can pour
over at all you will think I'm gonna pour over.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Hold on a second, just give me one. I think
that's second here? Oh no, if that pass.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Ultra marathon twenty eight point now on his head that's right.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
I have to get a new bumper sticker. I have
to get a new metal all of this.

Speaker 9 (32:11):
This is officially an ultra marathon.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
I don't have it in twenty eight point six y
four miles email yet I want to pour over the numbers.
Oh you can.

Speaker 9 (32:19):
You can put up to pour over the numbers. Let
me see here, I have to log into email. You
can pour over it all you want. It's just forensic.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
You.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
No, I'm going to I'm going to remeasure the distance
from Google.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Maps right there. It doesn't right now there.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
Google Maps, Apple Maps horrendous. Everybody knows that. So I'm
gonna use GPS's GPS. Now what you now what Charlie's
going to try. I know what his argument's going to be.
He's going to try to recreate the map specifically. Now,
if you let's say you have a one mile stretch,
all right, one mile road, straight road, and let's say

(33:00):
that you zigzag all the.

Speaker 9 (33:02):
Way down yep, that mile. Have you walked one mile
or have you walked longer than one mile? At the
end of it, you're walking distance. Did you walk one
mile or did you walk more than one mile? Everybody
would just say you walked one mile. Now they wouldn't
because you walked. If you zigzag an entire thing, that's oh,
that's you do it in every race I've ever seen

(33:22):
in my life.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
While you're right, mile, you're right. Every race I've ever
watched in my life. They usually take in the account
of zigzags the person does and if that's a further distance.
NASCAR famously does that. F one famously does that. Marathon's
famously taken account if the person went left or right
a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
They'd love to do total walking distance? Is this so?
It is? Of course this it is? That wouldn't it be.
It's a distance you move.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
It's a distance I did, and I'm twenty eight point
six four miles zigzag back and forth. That's not you
didn't do it, marathon, that's essoc. You're doing a lot
of that twenty eight point six four mile.

Speaker 9 (34:00):
Whether that was from point A to point B, whether
it was in circles, whatever, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
It's twenty eight point sixty four miles. It's interesting. I'll
send it to you. I keep saying that, but you
don't log into my email here, how do you? I
emailed it to myself, and then I logged out of
my email.

Speaker 5 (34:19):
Such a strange Jeffrey esque thing to do. It's what
I deleted it too.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
It's funny.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
The guy that should be talking and criticizing isn't Charlie.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
It's Jeffrey. Why he's an experienced walker.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
No, he's an experience Uh every liar Okay, geez, I
wasn't saying that the rover.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
I think he's just well, I think he's misguided. I
don't think he's a liar.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Oh, let's anythink I'm trying. I'm giving you the ball, Jeffrey.
I'm tossing you the ball to try to say anything.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
I'm just saying, I mean, you didn't say anything there
you got.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Did you get to the email that said pay him
a dollar and a word?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
You never read that one? No? I did not.

Speaker 9 (35:09):
Now I sent that email to Charlie. And then I'm
going to sign out of my email. So twenty eight
point six four miles walked over eleven hours, and he
can try to parse the data however he wants and go, oh, well.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
This d or the other blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 9 (35:26):
And you can actually go to this site here and
like I said, you can you can upload the you
can upload your GPS file going to and then you
can then you can just you know, you can recreate
the entire thing.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
You can see the elevator. There's nothing.

Speaker 9 (35:42):
Whatever Charlie comes up with is not going to be
more accurate than the raw data.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
It's just well, I'm just going to map it out.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
I want to map out the distance, like we've discussed,
and that's what I'm going to. Just look at a
gp X file. Never heard of the little dot is
going to Yeah you see the little dot. Yes, that's
net that is neat p X dutsy circles right there.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
Okay, yeah, oh.

Speaker 9 (36:02):
There's a lot of circle. Look if you go if
you go right right here. I walked around this is
the what was that the Saint Paul's cathedraler or whatever.
So I was in that area for quite a while
walking around and oh look at that elevation change.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (36:23):
If I was to attempt you know, I went up
seven hundred and twenty four feet during this marathon walk wow,
and down seven hundred and fifty nine feet.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Oh man, that is not flat?

Speaker 7 (36:34):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Almost one thousand feet of elevation.

Speaker 8 (36:39):
Yes, Jeffrey, I was gonna say, if I was to
attempt to walk a marathon here and here here in Ohio,
the main route that I would take you, I would
walk from like trailer walk from Lorraine to downtown Cleveland,
which I believe is that the equivaling distance of a
marathon may not be as long as distance as you.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Say you walked, but I would. I could take a
street shot row.

Speaker 8 (37:01):
I just walked straight up US Highway six all the
way to Lake Avenue up the Detroit downtown.

Speaker 9 (37:06):
Oh, we should go turn by turn maybe maybe on
the aftermath tomorrow you can actually said that yesterday.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Yeah, that's exactly what I said in the aftermath yesterday.
Let's see.

Speaker 9 (37:17):
Ian says, Charlie, if you walk ten feet forward and
then you walk ten feet backward, how far.

Speaker 5 (37:22):
Did you travel zero feet? What do you mean zero?
Really traveled zero? I've accomplished zero.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
You didn't travel twenty feet, negated ten feet. I don't
know what you're saying, Charlie, man in a race? Zero?
Yet you in a race, Charlie math like how marathons work?
You don't. Just you know, I'm right?

Speaker 2 (37:43):
And so if I go ten feet, if I run
ten feet ahead and then I run ten feet back.
That doesn't that doesn't mean I just want.

Speaker 5 (37:52):
An interesting part on this. They're just trying to find
I'm trying to find it. I'm just going to show
you this kind of stuff that's being added to it, and.

Speaker 9 (38:00):
I lost it to it. Uh, by the way, let's see.
Uh the crew says, I noticed that, Uh this, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Go ahead? What is this? What are you drawing? What
are you drawing?

Speaker 5 (38:13):
This is like a total of like tenth like five
ftre just wandering around and it's counting that.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
It's just absolutely I don't know where this was. Where
was this that was changing?

Speaker 5 (38:23):
That looks like oh says right there changing the guard. Okay,
so like it's counting this as a step forward like this,
What is this?

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Nothing that's a that's a step Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:36):
I got I guess that's what if that's how you
feel comfortable.

Speaker 9 (38:38):
That's just oh this is after Uh I know exactly
where that is. That's right next to Buckingham Palace. You
can watch us on the video. After we went to
Buckingham Palace. B two was doing, uh, getting something out
of the backpack, So I walked around in the park there.
You can watch the whole video.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
You can.

Speaker 9 (38:54):
You can sync it up with the video of where
that was. And he's really trying to zoom in.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
No, No, I'm just showing showing what this route is.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
By the way, so crossing back and forth like across
the street.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
It's not how marathons work. It's can you walk twenty
six miles? And I did?

Speaker 5 (39:12):
In fact, I walked eight point sixty four miles and
not with an aid, not with an aid falling around.

Speaker 9 (39:18):
Nobody said that she didn't take one step for me
in my total moving time. It shows here in this
GPX file. Out of the eleven hours, my total moving
time was ten hours. So I rested for a grand
total over that of one hour. So every time I

(39:39):
would stop or whatever that includes having to stop for
a red light or whatever you're doing.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
I love when I see this kind of walking in
a race. When I see a racer does something like this,
it's great. What is this, isn't it Jeffrey Matt walking around?

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Zoom I'll tell you that one zoom out and I
can tell you exactly where it is and where you
can look.

Speaker 9 (40:02):
Snack again. It was a pret a manger, so that
must be. That's me going into the store. That's me
walking around. Oh yeah, that's you can see that on
the you can see that on the video. That's where
I buy a banana. I go in and I buy
a banana.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Yeah, here's Jeffries, remember that.

Speaker 5 (40:30):
Driving around. That was one night of driving. By the way,
Jeffrey's just back and forth. I believe he was trying
to get He believed he was going to get into
some chicks pants, and instead she made him drive her
to a crack house or something. And then and then
said and then drive then go home and get money

(40:51):
to bring her at the crack house.

Speaker 9 (40:53):
Is that a fairly accurate statement from something like Parks Recollection.
Yeah's something I'd like to forget. Is that what happened?

Speaker 8 (41:01):
Yeah, that's something I prefer to forget it happened.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Then we have nothing to talk about if we forget
everything that we've done.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Yeah, Bruce says.

Speaker 9 (41:12):
Ask Charlie how many miles a day the soldiers that
are protecting tomb of the Unknown Soldier walk? In a day,
they walk a hundred feet, then turn one hundred and
eighty degrees and walk a hundred feet back for hours?
Do they do they not walk at all? It all
it gets to zero yeap, so they all walk on
marathon to day, but.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Possibly I don't know how far are they walk doing
that over the hours, but.

Speaker 8 (41:37):
Well too many do sentinels that guard you too, of
the unknown soldiers, They're only there for half an hour,
then they change the guard an hour and a half
an hour. I'm not sure what the case is, but
but they change the guard.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
I think I think every hour, every half hour. I'm
not sure how they do it.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
He's gone from half hour to hour to hour and
a half.

Speaker 5 (41:53):
Well, I'm just kidding, change the guard. Wind In Chicago,
you're on Rover's Morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
Good morning, Glinda, Yes, good morning.

Speaker 14 (42:04):
I was just calling in congratulations on your marathon, and
I was just telling I think that was crystal to answers.
I think Jeffrey is a handsome young man. I'm a
young black woman in Chicago. I listen to you out
every day. You make my day. I just love your show.

(42:25):
I've been listening for years.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
Well thank you now, Linda. When you say a young
black woman, now, Jeffrey loves older black women. You might
be a little too young for him. How old are.

Speaker 14 (42:36):
You well, I will be sixty five on my birthday
October to twelfth.

Speaker 1 (42:43):
Oh, it's a fine black woman in your wheelhouse. Jeffrey's perfect.

Speaker 5 (42:47):
Oh look he's blunting. He's actually blushing right now. If
you can watch it, he's washing.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Remember this. Thank you, Lindy. I very much appreciate that.

Speaker 14 (42:56):
I know you have a wife and you have your children,
but I just admire you.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
I admire all of you all on this show. I
just think you all just make it. Jeffrey, what were
you going to talk?

Speaker 8 (43:07):
I was gonna say that she's the only other woman
besides my wife that thinks I'm handsome. Most other women
don't think that you're a good looking guy.

Speaker 13 (43:15):
You know, you are looking muscles out, looking at those muscles.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
Of the old boy. He wasn't a married man.

Speaker 9 (43:23):
Yeah he's fa Yes he is, Linda, Well, maybe send
him a photo Jay dot Laroke at a T T
dot net if you can figure that email address out. Linda,
thank you, I appreciate Okay, bye, bye, she's sweet.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Let's see here. Oh man, we just flew through a
bunch of time there. I apologize.

Speaker 9 (43:51):
I went to I wanted to tell you the latest
update on something which I want to spend a whole
lot of it on it. But Cody around, Rovery's morning, Glory,
Good morning, Cody.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
What's up, Rover?

Speaker 7 (44:04):
How you feel like?

Speaker 1 (44:05):
Hey man, what's happening? Not much?

Speaker 13 (44:08):
I just got to get this Charlie math down.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
So I drive just a simple file.

Speaker 13 (44:13):
I work in Bay Village, so I drive five.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
Miles every day from Loraine to Bay.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Village, five miles there, five miles because I didn't drive
at all according to Charlie. Oh yeah, Charlie hasn't spent
one penny on gas money because he drives to work
every day, then he drives around and he ends up
back at home, so he didn't actually drive anywhere. Doing
this shouldn't count as movement. It's just a stupid It's
not movement. The marathon did kick What are you doing?

(44:42):
What are you doing now?

Speaker 5 (44:43):
If you walk a significant distance and walk back, like
I don't know, thirty feet and then walk back, yeah,
you're moving.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
She wasn't doing that. Not shuffling, not shuffling. You can
go back and watch that video. What's the whole fabric?

Speaker 4 (44:58):
The whole from the beginning three am until I was rooting.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Come on, we can do it. I was like, hopefully
you'll finish by two pieces.

Speaker 5 (45:06):
Of a fabricated file. Guess it was created today. I downloaded
it today. It's probably you. You downloaded it today, says
the date on the front. You changed the day. I
just created today right before you showed it.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
It's not created today today, Like I said. Anyways, I
don't get.

Speaker 9 (45:26):
Are explaining that you already thank you, Thank you, Cody.
I thank you for backing me up cheating Charlie in.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
There yet a real race. He was making his own path,
no matter what was going to be. Twenty six point two.
Can you walk twenty six miles?

Speaker 1 (45:42):
That's it? Yeah, he did. I did. I watched it.
I think we did get it for I'm never giving
him that he trained. He did it out of the
country at three in the morning, trained with a person
following him around.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
Which is a good thing because I didn't want him
to die.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
That what he said he could do. He said he
could get off the couch walk. I did that mile
train you did? Yes, you did. I went on two
walks trading. It's not getting up off of the.

Speaker 7 (46:14):
Train.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Yeah you're not. That's why the whole point was brought up.
You couldn't do it. You couldn't do it without being
exactly I would want to. I just have to.

Speaker 5 (46:26):
I just have to go into a store and buy
snacks or what you could have done that you chose
not to.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
You don't do that in regular marathons. You have some people,
there's volunteers.

Speaker 9 (46:35):
Who are those people didn't actually run a marathon? Because
there's a guy holding a cup of water and.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
I think you got to give it to them. That's
not what I do. How are you anything? I mean
the date of the fire created. I just want to
show you. Look, pull it up. I can't make it
any bigger. Traded July seventh. How do you do that?
While he was here? That's when he made That's when
you downloaded it, you idiot. I didn't download it then

(47:05):
you Yes, you did. I just send it to you. No,
I didn't roll What when did the email? I'll have
to look. I love out. I love the email. Log
back in.

Speaker 5 (47:16):
That's a normal thing to do me. I log in
and out of my email every email I get. I
log email. I'll get my email on the Oh let's
see here, I'm alrea able to get your emails so
fast All of a sudden because I'm looking on my
phone and here it is.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
Yes, Uh, this.

Speaker 9 (47:33):
Is six forty five AM is when it was sent
to Charlie. Oh that's weird, isn't what a what a
conspiracy that the file was created at six forty five
as is created downloadedious and I will give you that
that is suspicious. Uh, I've got to take a break.
Eight six six yo. Rover is our number. We do
have these shizzy coming up. What's on the way?

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Dog?

Speaker 2 (47:55):
There is some wild video that shows where a roof collapses.
What are the circumstances and where did it collapse? I'll
tell you the story, and you're gonna want to fire
up ARMGTV to see the video.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
Next will be right back, hang on, welcome back to
the show. That reminds you if these clowns can.

Speaker 15 (48:15):
Get ahead, so can you will?

Speaker 1 (48:21):
X Morning Glory, Fine Jersey coming out be in just
a moment. What do you have on the.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Way, Dudeh's some wild video about a roof collapsing, and
I'll give you the circumstances. Also a videos you want
to fire up RMGTV. You can always watch that for free.
Roverradio dot com. This is a crazy story. I'll have
free next.

Speaker 9 (48:49):
All right, we'll get to that in just a moment.
Do you go to church anymore, Dougie, No.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
I stopped at the pandemic. There was a church that
I would go to and I loved I just haven't gone,
not that much though.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
You didn't love it that much.

Speaker 6 (49:16):
No.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
After the pandemic, I kind of got scared.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
And then I just you're still scared now, yeah? No, okay, right,
So see, you didn't love it that much. You didn't
love it enough to go back to church. Okay. Well,
I was just wondering because I saw a story about
a guy who leads a church and he was very
upset with his members. So for something, I'll explain that
to you in just a minute. But first, are you

(49:41):
ready for the shizzy?

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Here we go on Rods Morning Glory.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Cuba's national electric grid has reportedly collapsed. That's according to
multiple reports, which cite the country's grid operator. They say
around ten million people are without power on the island
during the Caribbean summer heat. So you know how hot
it gets when you are here, imagine the Caribbean, how
hot that must be. So the grid operator, one of

(50:13):
the grid operators is providing power to some critical areas
like hospitals, and they're starting to restore more power across
the country, but they are dealing with all of this
days long power outages due to a degraded grid and
an oil blockade imposed by the US that has cut
off its fuel supply.

Speaker 9 (50:29):
When I was in London, I was still watching local TV. So,
like when I would watch the soccer games and stuff,
I'm watching it all on local TV because I'm on
a VPN on Apple TV and anyway, So I saw
a local news story where out where Jeffrey lives, they

(50:50):
just had power outages, like during that heat wave, and
they got they were just turning people's power off and
not because there was actually any outage.

Speaker 5 (51:00):
The demand was so high. They said, we just have
to turn off power for people, and they would just
turn off people's power for.

Speaker 1 (51:07):
The entire day. Isn't that normal, sweating their ass off outside.
I don't know if it's normal.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
I kind of say, we're gonna do some rolling power.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Out here they do.

Speaker 5 (51:16):
But yeah, I was watching this story and I was
just thinking to myself, I wonder how they determine where
those rolling outages are going to occur. They're probably not
doing the rolling outages. Oh that neighborhood where everyone has
five million dollar homes, they're not.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Having any rolling power outages, right is. I mean it
looked really miserable these.

Speaker 16 (51:39):
People speaking of that. Jeffrey, do you have air We
have a ceiling fans. I have a steiling fan in
my bedroom. He's got one in his bedroom.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
Who's he my son?

Speaker 8 (51:52):
I don't want to have a two bedroom apartment. And
then we have we have the air conditioning we had.
He put the air condition in his room, but he
keeps his door open. So it's combination having the windows open,
ceiling fan in the dining room, and you know, we
find ways.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
To stay cool.

Speaker 8 (52:06):
Anyways, the reason why we've had the outages, that I've
explained this before, is that for two reasons.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
One, your grid's being stressed out.

Speaker 8 (52:15):
Because they can't provide an electricity. Two of the grids
being outdated and it's needed needs to be updated.

Speaker 1 (52:20):
It needs to be upgraded. Basically, go on. See being
with the.

Speaker 8 (52:23):
Problem in Cuba there, as Dog said, the grid is
so deteriorated that they and the oil blockade from US,
they have not been able to upgrade their power grade
all right, go on do.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
Erica Kirk left a courtroom in Utah before graphic videos
of her husband Charlie Kirk's murder worship Boy Yeah. The
accused killer, Tyler Robinson, smiled during the hearing.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Really yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
Erica faced him for the first time, holding hands with
her mother in law while close friends and family supported her.
Robinson faced his trial and possibly the death penalty, and
videos of the shooting were owned to prove evidence. So
security was tight in the courtroom.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
Media was I mean, everyone's seen the video.

Speaker 5 (53:06):
I mean, you can restrict the media, you can have
tight security, but you know, everyone's actually seen it.

Speaker 9 (53:11):
I remember the day that that happened. People started sending
me this video within like two minutes of a happening.
Boom boom boom, boom boom. I start getting all these emails,
and I just can't imagine how horrible that would be
to have to relive something like that, you know, really,
and and I don't know, I know a lot of

(53:33):
people whatever this what's her name, Erica Kirk? A lot
of people hate on her. I don't know anything about her,
and they are, oh, she's a phony baloney. Maybe I
don't know, but did you imagine how difficult it would
be for somebody you lose your spouse.

Speaker 1 (53:48):
Let's just say, however, you lose them, it's tough to
move on. You want to move on with your life.
Maybe eventually you'll meet somebody else, you know whatever. Well,
when you have to, when you're in this situation and
a very public murder, and then you're going to have
a long protracted trial. Uh you're going there, you have

(54:10):
to go to the trial and all this. I mean,
it's just really difficult for her and seeing the person.

Speaker 9 (54:15):
That, oh murder, Yeah, oh, I'd want to once you
want to kill that person with your with your bare hands. Honestly,
I mean I know they you know they are oh
I mollento God and religion and whatever. Yeah, eye for
an eye, That's what I would say.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
I'd want. I'd want to kill somebody if they.

Speaker 8 (54:31):
If he's convicted, now that that's a that's very good
Possibily because of all the evidences against them, that and him,
he'll likely get his come up, and because he will
probably likely face the firing squad. Because I believe correct
me if I'm wrong. Utah is one of the few
states in the Union that still allow execution by firing squad.

Speaker 9 (54:48):
And that'd be interesting. He gets shot just like the
way he shot Charlie Kirk. They get to shoot him.

Speaker 5 (54:54):
And maybe instead of putting the target on there on
his heart, maybe they put it on his Or did
Charlie get shot in the neck right?

Speaker 1 (55:01):
Maybe they put it right there on his neck? All right?
Go on, Douji.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
There's a cruise ship carrying thousands of passengers had to
dock in Alaska yesterday despite being hit by its second
consecutive outbreak of a nasty stomach illness. The Ruby Princess
arrived in Alaska and Haines, Alaska after six crew members
and one passenger replaced in isolation with a cute gastronitis,
prompting the cruise ship to ramp up disinfecting measures and

(55:29):
coordinate health protocols now. The vessel departed San Francisco July
second after undergoing extensive deep clean following a much larger
outbreak on.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
Its previous previous voyage.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
So this is a little crazy because the latest outbreak
comes days after the same ship had a neurovirus outbreak.
One hundred and twenty five people on board got sick
from the Francisco to Alaska treadon, so they are trying
to clean that up. And then while I was out
last week, everyone kept saying, oh my god, there's the

(56:03):
douge diarrhea disease that's out there. Have you heard about this?
Oh my gosh. Apparently it's pretty bad. They're saying, the
some parasite cyclospora. It's contaminating raw fruits and veggies, causing
severe and prolonged diarrhea outbreaks. Michigan and New York have

(56:24):
seen a spike in cases. The CDC is reporting rising
cases nationwide, and they say this parasite is carried and
feces contaminated water sprayed on crops. You have to wash
produce thoroughly in order to prevent this. Cooking kills the parasite.
But symptoms include diarrhea, loss of appetite, and fever. And

(56:44):
the diarrhea is pretty bad, they're saying, so be very
careful with that. Microsoft is cutting about forty eight hundred jobs,
roughly two point one percent of its global workforce, with
its struggling Xbox gaming division hit the hardest. The companies
said yesterday that about sixteen hundred of the cuts are
in Xbox, with more expected later. That'll bring total gaming

(57:06):
job losses to around thirty two hundred this fiscal year,
or about a fifth of the Xbox.

Speaker 5 (57:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (57:12):
So I don't know much about Xbox gaming all this,
but I did read that they're completely getting rid of
I guess they bought a bunch of game studios years
ago and they're they're getting rid of those or shutting
them down. And they're really changing up stuff because they're
losing money. They're not making any money there, I guess.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
All right, some heavy rain caused part of a roof
to collapse. This is what happened at a BJ's Wholesale club.

Speaker 1 (57:39):
People to see my computer, snitch this this video here
is a no, you cannot see. Give me one second.
Let me reload here. This is a the BJ.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
This is at a BJ's wholesale club.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
And oh my god, what I'm trying to play?

Speaker 5 (57:53):
Okay, go ahead, No, we'll talk. Well I'm playing it.
It's called b roll okay, yeah, go ahead, right, Well,
there's no audio to this video. Here's old guy just
pulling his cart through the beachas and then the whole
Jesus A Mighty, the whole roof collapses and then it's
like a tsunami afterwards.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
Is there a water? Yeah? Oh man, what happened, dude?

Speaker 2 (58:17):
I just said it was heavy rain caused part of
the roof to collapse. First responders shut up, rushed to
this store.

Speaker 1 (58:25):
Look at that.

Speaker 9 (58:26):
I mean the water that must have been on the
roof then rushes in it. It takes do you know
how big these display tables are, how heavy those.

Speaker 1 (58:33):
Things are probably are. It's just completely This old dude
right there, he's the luckiest guy on the planet because
how he survived this. The roof collapses right next to him,
I mean feet away from what would you say, two feet.

Speaker 9 (58:53):
I think that's in the video. That's that's somebody who
recorded that. And then here, oh my goodness, look at
all the water going through here. Wow geez, So they
must have.

Speaker 1 (59:06):
This is bull I want my membership bag.

Speaker 7 (59:11):
God.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
Yeah, this is all up on talents and stuff. Yeah,
so they must have.

Speaker 5 (59:21):
I guess the water must have collected on the roof
and not been draining properly.

Speaker 13 (59:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
There were twenty seven people inside at the time, and
two who became partially trapped managed to free themselves and
get out safely with no injuries reported, which.

Speaker 1 (59:34):
Is a miracle. Where is this a Bejay's North or
New Jersey in I've never been to one of those,
but you're telling me. I mean, this seems like a
really big store. Yeah, it's like a Costco. Only twenty
seven people were in there.

Speaker 2 (59:46):
It was eleven there, eleven sixteen am.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
Still it happened twenty seven people. It doesn't seem like
a lot.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
Yeah, they said, surveillance video captured the moment which you
just saw.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
Oh hold on, is that is that go back? Uh?

Speaker 9 (01:00:04):
Is that water is that? Did it break the sprinkler lines?
And that's where the water's coming from? It does look
like at this point that's that looks like the sprinklers.
There's like four of them going off.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
Oh wow, so that's probably what's flooding the whole thing out.
But that initial water was just from the roof, the
one that swept the guy, you know, the tsunami with
the old guy. That guy is incredibly lucky.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
All right, I got that's a shizzy. On Rovers Morning Glory.

Speaker 9 (01:01:01):
So, Ducie, you said you're not going to church anymore
because you stopped during the pandemic. Now that was six
years ago, right, Pandemic's been.

Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
Over for a long long time.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
I might have gone to I might have been doing
like Christmas Eve and then Easter Sunday, and then those
two stopped. So I was going on Sundays and then
the pandemic, and then I might have gone here and there,
But then that has stopped for quite a few years.

Speaker 9 (01:01:34):
Well, this guy is His name is Josh McPherson. He's
the pastor at Grace City Church, wherever the hell that is,
and he's a little upset with his congregation. Now this
I don't know what kind of church this is, but
I guess this is a really big church. This dude

(01:01:56):
is in a flannel with a baseball cap on it. It's
one of those kind.

Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
Of churches play music. I don't know. Isn't that like
the weird thing you were going to?

Speaker 9 (01:02:03):
Like weird Dougie was going to like a mega church
and they'd have some surfer dude playing a guitar there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
And no, it was just like they they would just
teach you different things that were more relatable, and they
would do it through song, through stories.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
The preaching was just a little bit more laid back.

Speaker 9 (01:02:23):
I guess they have a group in this church. Now
the churches have to do. Nobody wants to go to
church basically, yeah, it is, well.

Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
That's in your opinion. Not a lot of people are
going to church. Okay.

Speaker 9 (01:02:34):
There's a story like a six months ago and it
was turned out to be complete fake news where somebody
had seated something in the media that they're like, oh
nohen gen Z is turning to church and record numbers.
Turns out fake news, absolutely not, and researchers were like, no, no,
we have all the data here. More people are not

(01:02:56):
going to church. I don't know where they're coming up
with this stuff. They're just pulling that right out of it,
asked whatever, the church foundation or whoever.

Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
I just couldn't imagine waking up on a Sunday early
to go to church. Ay, I just I just couldn't
imagine if somebody even suggested it to me.

Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
I don't even know what I would say.

Speaker 9 (01:03:11):
It was the greatest perhaps the greatest day of my
life was when I was a kid. You were forced
to go to church and your grandmother and mother, they go,
I don't want to go. You gotta know, And eventually,
I guess you put up a fight so many times
and you misbehave so many times that you get to
be I don't know if it was twelve thirteen, fourteen, fifteen,

(01:03:33):
somewhere in that range where they go if you don't
want to go, you don't have to go, and you go, wow,
you're gonna go to Hell, and you're like, oh, so
I'll sign up for Hell right now.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
But I at least I get to sleep in on
a Sunday. Yeah, Oh my god. It was absolute misery
going to church. I hated it. I hated too.

Speaker 8 (01:03:52):
That was me when I was a kid, When I
was a little kid and my dad was raised my well,
my mom was a Lutheran when she was growing up.
My dad was raised Catholic, and it's had Sonny was
the day I dreaded because that was the ones where
I had to get up and an o'clock in the
morning and get dressed and go to church. And you
know that kind of thing was kind of rammed down
my throat, you know when I.

Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
Was a kid. But as I got older and they
did really like you were part of that whole Catholic scandal. Yeah,
oh my, and they rammed it down your throat.

Speaker 8 (01:04:19):
And I was going to public schools, so I had
to go to am on every study I had to
go to like a what do you call uh you
you know you couldn't teach religion in public schools?

Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Was my father, Peter get a kneel down. Uh let
me if you let me finish, father, So they would
just Father Peter rammed it down your throat, no whatever
to get I'm just saying I would just force that.
That's my way saying. I was just supportsd to go
to church when I was a kid. AnyWho. But as
I got older, and then the first.

Speaker 8 (01:04:49):
Time I got I I went to a funeral and everything,
and I asked my parents, you know, what happened when
you die? And they said, oh, you know, you know,
at the end of the world, God, you know, go
up to heave them, blah blah blah. And I heard
all that, but I went to a funeral for a
friend's mother from high school, like back in the early nineties.

Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
Then I saw the inside of the grade. I saw
like the.

Speaker 8 (01:05:06):
Caskie being lowered into a concrete vault, burial vault. I
was like, in my whole view change, yeah, yeah, my
whole view just change and elaborating.

Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
Is so skeptical when they would have these stories and
you go really, and then you go, how do you know?
And they go, well, you just have to believe.

Speaker 9 (01:05:24):
Oh there's no proof, there's not even there's not even
a hint of proof to go no, no, I have
to believe anyway. So this guy is the pastor of
Grace City Church. I'm guessing these are one of maybe
not like a mega church, but one of these, like
I passed some Sometimes when I'm driving. Some of these
churches they put up these buildings, like these big steel buildings,

(01:05:46):
you know, and they kind of look like warehouses. And
sometimes you drive by in the parking lot is packed.

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
I go, what are people? What are they doing in there? Anyway,
so they have a contingent of of people there in
the church. You know, you have to appeal. Nobody wants
to go to church anymore. So they're trying to appeal.

Speaker 5 (01:06:07):
To like the manisphere, like all the manly dudes, the
alpha males, and they have something called stronger man, like
a contingent of the church.

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Are you a stronger man?

Speaker 5 (01:06:20):
Yeah, dude, I'm taking my protein and I'm worshiping God.

Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:06:25):
Anyways, Well, he's upset with some of these guys because
they're not doing something which is very, very important to
the church.

Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
Listen to this.

Speaker 17 (01:06:33):
Some of you have been claiming to follow Jesus for
years and years and years. You're coming to this church
and you don't give a dime or you tip God
when you remember to. And as God as my witness,
meant with all the love in my heart, you know
I love you.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
You know I love you.

Speaker 17 (01:06:48):
You may not like what I said, but you cannot
say I do not love you. If you're singers and
claiming to be a stronger man and wearing the gear
and you are not tithing to God through this church
and you're some alpha male that likes to look down
and all those gay sex men, just know that God
views you and those men as the same.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
You're as despicable as those gay guys.

Speaker 17 (01:07:13):
Because you're sitting you're here in your high alpha male horse.
Look at all these perverse out there having sex with men.
When he was hold from God, his tithe God viewsed
that man and you as one and the same. You're like,
are you trying to shame me one thousand percent? I'm
trying to shame you?

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Wow?

Speaker 17 (01:07:29):
Like, is that biblical? You've never read the book?

Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
Have you?

Speaker 17 (01:07:31):
Verse six, I say all this to shame you. That's
a verse in the Bible. It's literally inspired versus the Bible.
I say all this to shame you. Paul's like, don't
sit there and pretend to be a stronger man when
you have this blinding, damning sin of greed in your
life that you refuse.

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
To deal with. He shays that you have to give
first fruits. You know what first fruits is?

Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
No, but I'm guessing that you have to give your
the first before you spend on yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
You have to give the first amounts of money to.

Speaker 9 (01:08:12):
God, ten percent off the top. It's like paying an
agent ten percent of your income.

Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
You have to give right to that church. Otherwise you're
no good. You're just as bad as those those growdy
gays that you that you look at.

Speaker 5 (01:08:28):
You got mentioning when you're watching those gay guys, I
know you're just as bad as them, are you watching?

Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
You're in the gay section of Porno and you're watching
those gays. God hates you just as much as he
hates tab Ten percent, he says, that's an insane amount. Yeah,
that's the normal amount for Tiz. I know that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:08:48):
Anybody falls for that, any do if you're that stupid,
I don't know what you're doing with your life.

Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
What is you'd have to be an idiot? Ten percent?
I guess it depends on the church.

Speaker 10 (01:08:59):
I mean, I don't say mega church would be worthy
of that because they're wearing all this jewels and stuff
like that. But a community church in your community, I've
seen no problem doing money.

Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
How much How much does it church? Will they give
to the poor and stuff a lot of stuff for free?

Speaker 5 (01:09:16):
Do they get a lot of donations and they don't
pay any taxes? Every time there's like I think it's
in Texas somewhere. Every time it will be like a
natural disaster. They'll try to go to the church and
the guy won't let him in. Oh yeah, that's a
Joel Osting. He's like, no, no, dude, and they have
they have an arena.

Speaker 9 (01:09:34):
I think they bought like whatever wherever the basketball team
used to play, they bought that arena for their church
and like, no, no room for you here. You have
ten percent of your income, then maybe we'll let you in.

Speaker 7 (01:09:48):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (01:09:49):
He also is a shames people saying that there are
a lot of single women in this church and they
work three jobs and they give more than the stronger men,
the alpha males there walking around in their gear.

Speaker 5 (01:10:03):
They're a stronger man gear which the church sells. They're
slightly smarter. You'd have to be. That's straight up getting scammed.
That is so such a scammy thing. You immediately have
to give ten percent to a church, and I don't.

Speaker 9 (01:10:18):
Know how they do it now, but I remember when,
like when I was a kid, they would pass around
that little uh, the collection plate, the collection plate. I'm
guessing everything is probably digital now because they do they huh.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
And they have a tap to pay as well.

Speaker 1 (01:10:33):
Probably well.

Speaker 9 (01:10:35):
They would make you I always thought like it was
weird because they would make you put like they'd have
these little envelopes and you were supposed to write your
name on the envelope and then put it in there.

Speaker 5 (01:10:45):
To make sure think about it, because he somehow can't tell.
He can't see you at that point, so we want some.

Speaker 9 (01:10:50):
Yeah, wouldn't God know if you were tithing your ten percent?

Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Nope, the church has to know that. I didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:10:57):
I didn't really know this ten percent until later because
we have way to do that. But we'd put stuff
in the collection plate, but it wasn't ten percent.

Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
May says, my brother in law and sister in law
give twenty percent of their check to the church every week.

Speaker 5 (01:11:11):
How is that any different than like a Nigerian scammer. Yeah,
it's no different.

Speaker 9 (01:11:15):
And she says they're the most judgmental hypocrite people that
she knows.

Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
Maybe that they think that that justifies that they can
be because they're paying God, that they can be forgiven
for their.

Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
Being judgmental man. In their mind, it's a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
But what also, I don't like the message, and I've
heard it many times. If you don't pay, then God
won't love you. If you don't give me your money,
you won't go to heaven.

Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
God won't love you. God liked poor people, didn't they?

Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
And I see all these old people giving their money,
and that just breaks my heart because how much money
do you have to give?

Speaker 9 (01:11:50):
Well, it's rich coming from that guy Joel Ostein or
somebody who's like God, you have to pay more and
more and more. This dude has like eighteen role exisons.
He drives a role Royce. What does he contribute to
his own church? Do you think he gives twenty percent
of his income to his own church?

Speaker 1 (01:12:06):
And man, I know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
Who monitors all that cash that goes in?

Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
Nobody?

Speaker 9 (01:12:13):
Yeah, somebody, somebody works at the church. They have people
who work at the church, and they're gonna and those people.

Speaker 1 (01:12:20):
What's interesting is a lot of those people probably work
for free for the church. I don't know how much
money they're pulling in, but.

Speaker 8 (01:12:28):
I remember Phil Collins on actually makes fun of all
this stuff. Yeah call it's a song called Jesus He
Knows Me And basically Phil collins is parodying and making
fun of televangelids and how rich they get off off
of unsuspecting people.

Speaker 9 (01:12:40):
Eight six section, Yo Rover is our number. I've got
to take a quick break. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Hang on the chance of some isolated pop ups.

Speaker 5 (01:12:47):
Otherwise remaining dry, temperatures low seventies for this evening.

Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
Hey, it's Allan's top. It's bad.

Speaker 13 (01:12:54):
Do it?

Speaker 6 (01:12:54):
Do it?

Speaker 13 (01:12:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
Lencock show, now play it.

Speaker 18 (01:12:57):
It is nude Recreation Week. Will you be celebrating that?

Speaker 5 (01:13:02):
Uh no, Oh, come on, I don't think's going on
around here.

Speaker 18 (01:13:07):
Well, Woody and I are going to be doing some
naked parasailing out over the lake on the east side.

Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
Rocks so nice.

Speaker 18 (01:13:12):
That's why I'll send you some video that won't be
my thumb in the corner of the frame.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
Stop horrible.

Speaker 3 (01:13:22):
Weekday afternoons studying at two.

Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
Rover is emotionally constipated.

Speaker 15 (01:13:31):
That's a nice way of saying he doesn't give a
Rover's Morning Glorious.

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
In the Youngstown, Ohio, you're on Rovery's Morning Glory. Good morning,
Good morning guy. Oh you're all right.

Speaker 19 (01:13:53):
That original clip that you played was giving me righteous
gemstones vibes.

Speaker 13 (01:13:58):
I don't know if you guys are from earlier with that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:02):
I've never seen that. What is it on HBO or something?

Speaker 13 (01:14:06):
Yeah, it's on HBO.

Speaker 1 (01:14:07):
It's hilarious. I've never seen it, Crystal.

Speaker 13 (01:14:10):
I'm assuming that you've seen it.

Speaker 1 (01:14:12):
Oh, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 4 (01:14:13):
When the sun creates his own and he has a
very big body mill.

Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
Their guys and they're all about.

Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
Jesus and they even go to shows and they're showing
off their muscles and how Jesus has made them like stronger.

Speaker 1 (01:14:28):
And that's I guess the Stronger Man Church or whatever.

Speaker 12 (01:14:34):
What Crystal, you got to him that the guy in
the video calling like telling those guys you're.

Speaker 13 (01:14:40):
Just gay and the eyes of gone is.

Speaker 12 (01:14:44):
People that don't give any money. Doesn't that give you
like I don't want.

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
To spoil anything for anyone that hasn't seen it, But
doesn't that give.

Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
You like weird because it's the way it kind of ended.

Speaker 19 (01:14:56):
Oh yeah, that particular wink wink, okay, wink wink. That
hotel was absolutely amazing. I'm sure it's so good.

Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
So okay, so there was not highly recommend worshiping of
the One Eyed Bishop or something. Perhaps I see, all right,
all kinds.

Speaker 12 (01:15:17):
Of yeah, they're all kinds of It's crazy. I think
you would.

Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
Really like it, Robert, check it out, all right, Stee,
thank you, I appreciate it. Professor.

Speaker 5 (01:15:26):
You're on Rover this morning to good morning. There are
you doingay? What's happening?

Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (01:15:33):
I just my sister law.

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
And brother in law at a party.

Speaker 13 (01:15:36):
I just found out to think quit going to the.

Speaker 7 (01:15:38):
Church because they wanted thirteen percent of their paycheck that
monthly be paid.

Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Oh my god, weekly, wow? Weekly?

Speaker 13 (01:15:46):
He goes less?

Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
Now, yeah, no kidding. Somebody, Uh somebody said that they
Where is it? Uh?

Speaker 5 (01:15:53):
Here's the guy that says my wife and I wanted
to have our newborn daughter baptized in the same church
we got married in.

Speaker 1 (01:15:58):
They rejected us and said, you don't give us enough money. Ah,
we want to see you attending church more. So we
said screw them. To this day, they still send us
donation envelopes in the mail. We just throw them in
the trash.

Speaker 13 (01:16:13):
Fifty bucks to have my grandson baptized?

Speaker 1 (01:16:16):
How much?

Speaker 5 (01:16:17):
Two and fifty bucks? It is weird, Like I guess,
I never really thought about it. I didn't know there
was a price. I think they just that's a service
that they do for free. To chip in. Go for
it because we're doing it. But I need to get paid, sir. Really,
I didn't know.

Speaker 13 (01:16:32):
Ingest for donation. If you're not part of the parish
and paying, you're thirteen percent.

Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
I had no idea. You're kidding me, so, oh, all right, professor,
thank you. I appreciate it. Trimp.

Speaker 9 (01:16:43):
He says, Christianity on a net level is on a
on a local level, is a net positive. He says
mega churches are a problem, but no one disagrees with that,
but perhaps it is a net possible.

Speaker 1 (01:16:58):
I don't have anything against religion.

Speaker 13 (01:16:59):
It's just.

Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Just not for me.

Speaker 2 (01:17:02):
Really, do you think that that will change as you
get older?

Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (01:17:06):
The older you get, you keep bringing that up all
the time. You're like, oh, you have limited time, Oh
my god, you worry about that so much? Did Am
I going to get more religious? Maybe maybe you got
to head your bets right. I did see something. Somebody
sent me a video, or maybe I came across it.
I don't know if somebody sent it to me. But
it was this dude who went he went over to

(01:17:29):
England and he was I think Birmingham, England. And I
don't know anything about the guy who made the video.
He could be He seemed to be a Jewish guy,
I think, I don't know, but he was. It seemed
to be very anti Muslim, so I'm sure there's an
agenda there obviously, But he was the whole point of
this video. Was how Muslims have taken over England and

(01:17:57):
I don't I don't know. Maybe that's true, maybe it's not.
What but he was going around Birmingham, which I've never
been to, and he's like, we can't find anybody who's
not in one of those the burka or whatever those
things are called.

Speaker 1 (01:18:10):
Like, I mean, it was.

Speaker 9 (01:18:12):
Pretty I guess it was a startling change. They did
show you some photos of what it used to look
like just a twenty thirty forty years ago, and it
doesn't look like that anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
But anyways, he was talking to this guy.

Speaker 9 (01:18:27):
They're interviewing this dude, this old guy, and they're outside
of this mosque.

Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
And the.

Speaker 9 (01:18:35):
Interviewer goes, hey, so you know, I in this church
they're telling people that you should stone women to death,
that kill them. And the old guy goes, no, no, no, no,
no in this church. No they're not in this mosque.
No no, they're not saying that. He goes, no, they
they do.

Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
They I have a video of inside that mosque I'm
saying to stone women. And the old guy goes, that's no, no,
that's not true.

Speaker 9 (01:19:03):
I'd love to see that video because it's not happening
in that mosque in the interviewer goes, yeah, yeah, this
says like the guy's up there, and he says that
you have to bury them up to their up to
their head, you know, up to the neck, and then
you throw stones at their head and you kill them.
And the old guy goes, oh, oh, oh, you mean

(01:19:24):
like if they if they commit adultery.

Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
And the guy's like, yeah, yeah, that's what he was
talking about.

Speaker 5 (01:19:29):
He goes, oh, well, oh, if the woman does something wrong, yeah, yeah,
of course, but you know, we don't advocate stoning women
just to stone them, but if they do something.

Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
Wrong, then to stone them.

Speaker 9 (01:19:44):
Well, I don't know what they do to the men,
you know, you steal, you get your arm chopped off
or whatever. I don't know, but I just find that
to be very interesting that the guy's like, no, no,
that doesn't happen, and no, absolutely what a lie showed
me the video.

Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
Oh oh you didn't tell me that if a woman
cheats on her husband, oh oh of course, in that case,
you stone that bitch to death for.

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
Could you imagine that would be a horrible way to die?

Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
And I'm sure you watch videos of that before.

Speaker 9 (01:20:19):
I mean, I'm sure, yes, as a matter of fact,
I don't. I don't seek out any of those videos.
When you're younger, maybe you see stuff out here. Now,
if I see something on the internet, I go, I
don't need to see that. I've seen stuff like that.
I don't need to see that. But I do remember
them a video where they did exactly that.

Speaker 5 (01:20:38):
They like dig a hole, they stick a woman in there,
they bury them up, and then they all stand around
in a circle and they just they're like out in
the middle of the desert.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
They all just pick up these And I was thinking,
I remember when I was a little kid, I'd go
to Sunday school and they would talk about they would
talk about stoning people. I think, what, And I don't remember.

Speaker 9 (01:21:01):
I think they were trying to tell you that things
have changed from like ancient biblical times today, like we
don't stone people anymore. And I always thought, like, when
you stone somebody, I always thought you pick up like
a little piece of gravel, and like that's what you like,
you're throwing a pebble at him.

Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
No, No, when they stone somebody over there, they're picking up.
They're picking up. Yeah, it's like the size of this
computer mouse. They're picking up a big ass rockets, just
hurling it at somebody's knocking. Yeah, I couldn't believe it.
You know what else I can't believe?

Speaker 5 (01:21:39):
Now we've talked about this guy, and my lord, I'm
so sick of politics and everything. But this dude, this
grand Platner, he's running for Senate and Maine.

Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
He's a Democrat. This guy, how he has not dropped
out of this race. He has to drop out today,
He has to.

Speaker 9 (01:21:59):
This is the guy that had the big Nazi tattoo
on his chest and then came up with the ridiculous
excuse that he didn't know was a Nazi tattoo. It's
just it's just an absolute total lie. He's also the
same guy that has they uncovered a string of old
Reddit posts where he's disparagingly talking about everybody. Basically, there

(01:22:24):
was even one guy that's a US service member who
was involved in a firefight and I don't know, Afghanistan, Iraq, wherever,
getting shot at and and this grand Platner guy was
posting that that dude deserved to die because his tactics
are bad.

Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
This fat tubble lard.

Speaker 9 (01:22:41):
I'm paraphrasing here, but it's basically what he You know,
I'm not paraphra I'm not I'm not embellishing. I just
don't remember the exact quotes and all sorts of other stuff.
I mean, the guy's are real. This guy's a real scumbag.

Speaker 1 (01:22:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:22:56):
Well now his ex girlfriend, her name is Jenny Rasicott
r Aci Cot. She says that he raped her while
they were together. This was about five years ago, and
she made these accusations to Politico. She says that she

(01:23:21):
recalled this rape in detail. She says that he started
calling her. They had an on and off relationship, and
then one night she started he started calling her, texting
her and she's like, I'm in bed, I'm asleep, I
don't want to see you. This is back in twenty
twenty one, and he came over to her house even

(01:23:43):
though she said not to, and he entered her home
very drunk, and she says he wouldn't take no for
an answer, and then she says that he came up
the stairs, got on top of her while she was
on a couch. She kept saying no, no, no. She

(01:24:04):
says that she then broke away from him ran into
the bedroom. He was almost blackout drunk, she said that
he had non consensual sex with.

Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
Her, raped her. He he what's the word I could
use here?

Speaker 9 (01:24:20):
He completed, Yeah, he completed, she was not on birth control.
And then and then she she you know, of course
I had to go through whatever. Once she figured out
she wasn't pregnant. That she she's like, like a couple
of weeks later, she's like, you know, you're such a
bad guy.

Speaker 5 (01:24:41):
You know that was non consensual. So on and so forth.
He denies all of this. Now, I wonder where this
So he's running for senate. Now he had to go
through the whole Democratic primary thing and all this. So
this is a campaign that's been going on.

Speaker 1 (01:24:56):
For I don't know, a year or whatever.

Speaker 9 (01:25:00):
Why don't you bring this up before he becomes the
nominee for the Democrats?

Speaker 1 (01:25:05):
Would you?

Speaker 9 (01:25:06):
Wouldn't you throw this tidbit of information out there so
that you could save everyone in the state, like the
hassle of all of this.

Speaker 1 (01:25:15):
But that hassle isn't part of her experience.

Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
Her experience, she has to be able to come forward
with it on her terms. So maybe she wasn't ready to.
And then she finally had had a novel.

Speaker 1 (01:25:28):
She says she says one of the reasons I didn't
come forward sooner was the huge moral conflict that I
had between supporting his politics but not supporting him as
a person. I just want the truth out there.

Speaker 9 (01:25:41):
I just want people to have a whole scope of
who he is as a person. So essentially, what she's
saying is, I didn't come forward because I like the
guy's politics. He's a real creep, but I like his politics,
and I I, what wouldn't that be the first would

(01:26:01):
you go? This guy's not fit to be in office.
He's not fit to represent us in the state of Maine,
wouldn't you.

Speaker 2 (01:26:08):
I just can't imagine the United States. He might not
be fit as a human to be a good human,
but people like his politics.

Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
So that's what she's saying.

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
I don't like the guy, but I like what the
guy's politics are, and that's okay. If it was on
her terms, I don't have to respect that.

Speaker 9 (01:26:28):
Just this late in the game, and always, you know,
always go hmmm, I'm not She had emails.

Speaker 5 (01:26:34):
The political had emails of her talking to her therapists.
She was like emailing with your therapists back at the time,
saying what talking about how she got raped, So it's
not like something that she's just made up.

Speaker 1 (01:26:46):
Oh you're not saying that, are you? No? No, No,
I think I'm not saying you're saying that. It's funny,
you know that. I mean, it's not something that people
do question.

Speaker 9 (01:26:54):
Look, it's natural to question when somebody makes an allegation.
Everyone's like, oh, you have to drop out now, and like,
I don't know. Maybe maybe she's one hundred percent accurate.
I don't know, but I do find it curious that
when an accusation is lodged against a politician anywhere, that oh,
you have to drop out. Well, just a woman made
one allegation. I mean, who knows if it's a kook

(01:27:17):
or not. I'm not saying she is. I just who knows.
I'm just saying the earlier you got that information out
there and let people digest it, investigate it, so on
and so forth, the better. Now he's the nominee for
the Democrats, so it's a little late in the game
at this point.

Speaker 1 (01:27:32):
It's never too late in the game.

Speaker 9 (01:27:33):
Well, he has one week I think a week from Yeah,
I think on Monday or Tuesday or something. If he
that's the last day that they can replace him on
the ballot. So everyone's calling on this guy. The Nazi
tattoo we can look past. We can look past that.

Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
The wishing for the death of fellow American service members,
we can look past that.

Speaker 9 (01:28:02):
But the rape allegation. Help you have to drop out.
I just this guy is a scumbag. How he got
this far, I don't I don't know what a what
an absolute embarrassment it is that this guy is the
nominee for the Democrats had absolute embarrassment.

Speaker 1 (01:28:22):
She was going with Mitch McConnell. By the way, what's that?
Did you see? What's happening with Mitch McConnell. No, what's
happening with Mitch McConnell.

Speaker 5 (01:28:28):
Nobody's seen him for like two months after he had
a cardiac episode. Oh and there's a lot of speculation
he's brain dead, but they're not going to say anything.
Is he still going to vote? Well, I think to
some other guy votes for him. I think some other
guy goes around and votes for him sometimes.

Speaker 1 (01:28:45):
Really and they go, oh, no, no, this is what
Mitch wants us to vote for. Voting Well, not right now,
he's probably it's a little too Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:28:54):
So anyways, I guess there's something to do if they
can't announce that he's dead before August, because they could
have a special election. If they announced after August, then
they don't have to have a special election.

Speaker 1 (01:29:05):
So they're going to keep him alive.

Speaker 5 (01:29:07):
And kidding because his wife left, So he had this episode,
and I guess three days later, his wife just flew
to China. She has been back, and if your she
hasn't been back, she's still in China.

Speaker 1 (01:29:18):
Yeah. Are you sure? That's very unusual.

Speaker 5 (01:29:24):
And if your husband was having some sort of episode
he's going to come back from you would be by
his side, right.

Speaker 9 (01:29:32):
Yeah, not fly to China. Yeah, she's a I think
she's a former Transportation secretary for the United States. His
his wife, Elaine Chaw was her name. So she's in
China and he's in hospital. Yeah, oh that is.

Speaker 1 (01:29:48):
A little bit weird. Huh, Well, that would make sense.

Speaker 9 (01:29:53):
He's the guy that he orchestrated the whole thing where
you couldn't have the the vote for the Supreme Court nominee.
If you remember back in the day, it was like
a year left before the election, and he's like, no, no,
we can't vote on this until we have an election,
They're like, what do you mean this our nominee for
Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court. He's the person that

(01:30:15):
orchestrated the whole thing to say no, no, no, we're
not going to vote on this nomination until there's an election,
which dirty.

Speaker 1 (01:30:25):
But it would make sense that.

Speaker 5 (01:30:26):
Now they're again playing, even in death, playing dirty anyways.

Speaker 1 (01:30:32):
But this Platnir guy, what you know?

Speaker 9 (01:30:37):
And this just goes to show you that sometimes people
that get so wrapped up in their own politics and
they're like, I hate Trump, and I hate this, and
I'm a Democrat.

Speaker 1 (01:30:48):
We have to vote Democrat. Vote Democrat, vote Democrat.

Speaker 9 (01:30:51):
Even in the face of every I mean flashing red
lights and alerts about this guy, Like this dude is
not a great candidate. That doesn't matter. I fully support him,
still behind him. Stephen King from Maine says he still
yesterday says he still supports Grant Plattner. That's how nutty

(01:31:15):
Stephen King has become with politics. You support the Nazi
tattoo guy who's accused of right because you don't like
Donald Trump. You want to win the Senate, you want
to have the Democrats win the Senate. That's how much
you like. That's just that's insane to me. I would No.

Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
I don't know who's running on the Republican side. I
don't know, but if they're halfway, if they're halfway normal,
even if you don't agree with their politics, isn't it
better than the Nazi tattoo guy.

Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
Yeah, and the rapist Duji? You have the shizzy coming
up in just a moment. What's on the way?

Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
Doctors are issuing a warning over a toy that is
so crazy and popular.

Speaker 1 (01:31:59):
Right now they are having warning over.

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
Oh yeah, a lot of injuries because of this toy.

Speaker 1 (01:32:05):
I'll tell you what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:32:06):
You won't know it, but everybody else will know what
the toy is Rover and what the injuries are coming
up next will.

Speaker 5 (01:32:12):
Be right back on Rover's Morning Glory. Hang on, next
time you look at a.

Speaker 15 (01:32:17):
Paste up and wonder where all those tax deductions go,
just remember Jeffrey.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
Lo Rogue, you're example.

Speaker 15 (01:32:25):
It's Rover's Morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
Shus he is coming up in just a moment. What
do you have on the way?

Speaker 2 (01:32:34):
Do very popular toy that not only kids play with
but adults are obsessing over is causing doctors to warn
you about them.

Speaker 1 (01:32:44):
I'll tell you what some of the injuries are. Next,
wonder what they could be. Again, you won't know what
it is what.

Speaker 9 (01:32:50):
Everyone else will. Okay, all right, we'll get to that
in just a moment. Charlie, are you still riding your
mountain bike?

Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:33:03):
Yeah, well last time I rode it was Wednesday. What
are you?

Speaker 5 (01:33:09):
Are you trying to tackle a new hill or are
you No?

Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
No, I've up that hill around. No, I've been up
that hill. Bunch off that hill. Now it's now I'm
going out nastural trails till like where they go. I
thought that anybody's gonna know, but Loyal View. I went
to Royal View.

Speaker 5 (01:33:25):
I don't know what that is, six seven miles I think,
and the six seven six Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:33:32):
And it was hot. It was hot. It was like
eighty ninety degrees that day. And what is that? It's
a trail? Oh, it's a trail. Oh, it's like a
trail in the woods.

Speaker 5 (01:33:43):
If you're going over rocks and roots, you're going downhill,
you're going to.

Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
Park your car.

Speaker 5 (01:33:48):
You put that Oh yeah, probably, yeah, you parked the
car and then you're then you're in the woods and
you just it's a loop, and you're just going around
in it, right.

Speaker 1 (01:33:57):
So you don't actually wait a second. So it's a loop,
so you come back to where you started. You didn't
actually wait, so you didn't actually bicycle anything.

Speaker 5 (01:34:07):
Z one pedal backwards, one pedal forward, which I explained
over and over again. You're pretending not to understand. But
you know what you did. You know what you did?
You know these Have you.

Speaker 1 (01:34:19):
Gone up the hill smoothly?

Speaker 4 (01:34:21):
Because I thought that was the goal to do it
smooth with I swear the last video we saw you
were still trudging up the hill.

Speaker 1 (01:34:29):
I think you got. Then, I think you got You've
probably figured out those gears more now I know that
was a film myself doing that for I did it.

Speaker 5 (01:34:36):
I know I just did it once and I wanted
to show that I did it, and now I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:34:40):
We're not filming myself doing Has it gotten easier because
you figured out the gears? Obviously your probably your legs
are getting a little stronger, But yeah, I mean it's
definitely easier.

Speaker 5 (01:34:50):
For sure, it's way easier, just because my legs here
is let's see, let's see if you can well, here's
my ride.

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
Let's see there you go. Oh, third biggest climb of
my life. Wow.

Speaker 5 (01:35:09):
How does it know that you started the same thing
like you start a workout? You said Strava app.

Speaker 1 (01:35:14):
So here's there you go.

Speaker 5 (01:35:16):
Distance six point four to two, average speed five hour
and a half, moving.

Speaker 1 (01:35:22):
Time thousand, basically a thousand calories burned. I couldn't believe it.
When I was done.

Speaker 5 (01:35:26):
I was like, it felt painful, but like I didn't
realize you burned that much doing it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:30):
Yeah, I wondered how many calories I burned on the marathon.

Speaker 5 (01:35:33):
I'll tell you, will it if you go to the
I'm sure your workout thing will tell you if you
started a workout.

Speaker 1 (01:35:38):
I'm sure it'll give you the information. Because I actually
my time in London, I gained uh seven pounds. So
I was thinking, like, oh, I'm going to walk all
this way, I'm gonna lose lose weight.

Speaker 9 (01:35:49):
But I guess all the the goop that I'm drinking
and everything else. All right, I'll have to wear muscle mass.
You gained so much muscle mass?

Speaker 1 (01:35:58):
I don't think so, I don't think. So come out
to the hill, come the bike. No, I'm done with exercise.

Speaker 9 (01:36:06):
I'm done with exercise, don't do somebody somebody asked me
to go, oh, so are you going to start?

Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
Like now, are you gonna run a marathon? I said,
are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (01:36:14):
He did say that during a crack.

Speaker 1 (01:36:17):
Anybody could do could walk a marathon. Anybody.

Speaker 9 (01:36:21):
I'm telling you, if you as long as you have
two legs and you're not completely you know, you're not
eight thousand pounds or whatever, anybody could do it, just
put your mind to it. Running would literally kill me.
I think I don't know how anybody can physically do that.
I honestly, I don't know. My heart would explode, my
leg my knees would be.

Speaker 1 (01:36:42):
I don't think. I don't run five miles walking that
again like a couple months. No, I don't think so
next you don't feel like you should do that once
a year or something? Uh? It was to be honest
with you, it's a little easier than I thought it
would be. But no, I don't really have a mode
to do it. It was fun because I got to

(01:37:03):
see things I didn't.

Speaker 9 (01:37:04):
If you did it in a different city and you
got to just walk throughout maybe maybe I don't know.
I don't think so. I'm not really, I'm not itching
to do that again. Tuji, are you ready for the shizzy?

Speaker 1 (01:37:19):
Sure, here we go. It is shizzy. I'll rovers morning Glory.

Speaker 2 (01:37:23):
Before we left on break, do you remember us talking
about the earthquake that happened in Venezuela.

Speaker 1 (01:37:29):
Yes, oh, two, that happened back to back.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
So now we are at the death toll. It's reached
three thousand, five hundred and fifty five people hired.

Speaker 1 (01:37:40):
There's like fifty some thousand people that are missesing.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
So that says the search and rescue efforts are transitioning
obviously to recovery, so that number is expected to go up,
but they are still searching for all those people.

Speaker 7 (01:37:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:37:54):
So they pulled one guy out.

Speaker 9 (01:37:56):
I mean, this was so a while ago, but the
guy would have been buried like four or five days
and they pulled him out. He survived, but he might
have been the last guy they got out of there.

Speaker 2 (01:38:06):
So President Trump is building a permanent helipad at the
White House. Trump confirmed yesterday that the circular construction on
the south lawn of the White House will be a
Marine one landing spot. The permanent helipad is being built
because the latest version of the President's helicopter reportedly is
more likely to burn grass than the previous one. This
would be the latest renovation to the White House ground

(01:38:26):
spearheaded by the President, with other projects including demolishing the
east wing to build a ballroom and paving over the.

Speaker 5 (01:38:34):
Rose Garden Blockheed Martin is paying for the helipad too.
I mean, I don't know. Maybe that's good. You're not
paying for it. I'm not paying for it, but a
company is paying for it. I wonder what they want
in return. Okay, go on.

Speaker 2 (01:38:45):
My cousin he passed away a couple months ago, but
he was a huge collector of La Lique. It's like
that French luxury glass.

Speaker 7 (01:38:57):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:38:57):
Yes, she was really really deep into collecting it. Well,
there is a museum of Lalique and millions of dollars
worth of jewelry was stolen from that museum by a
crew of burglars and the gang of masked thiefs broken
in the museum.

Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
This is in northeastern France.

Speaker 2 (01:39:17):
It was around five thirty in the morning on Sunday
and roughly twenty pieces of jewelry were snatched from the museum.
After the burglars headed for the room and smashed open
six display cases. The loss is currently being assessed, but
could amount to several million euros, which is likely close
to four and a half million US.

Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
House museums are sort of easy targets. Well that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (01:39:41):
It's just months after the infamous jewel heist at the
Louver in Paris.

Speaker 5 (01:39:45):
But how do you sell this stuff? I don't think
you do. I think you melt it down. Like I
saw this story. This is glass, Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:39:54):
Well Lalik is a glass, but maybe they have other
stuff in it. So if it's jewelry cases, I saw
this story about this guy who he would he would
steal all this memorabilia from, like I don't know, all
these baseball museums and stuff he stole, Like who was it?
It was like, I don't know, some Yankee that had

(01:40:14):
seven World Series rings or something. I don't know who
it was.

Speaker 9 (01:40:18):
And he he stole the rings, these historical rings, and
then what does he do with them? He just melted
them down and sold them to like a pawn shop.
If he could believe that, like what comebag thing to do?

Speaker 2 (01:40:35):
So this museum, it features over six d and fifty
exceptional works of jewelry, crystal and perfume bottles.

Speaker 1 (01:40:42):
So they went in and got that day. I don't
know what you would do with that stuff exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
So, being a mom of a daughter who is sixteen
and also working with a lot of kids all different
ages at the dance studio, there is a popular toy
right now that you sometimes have a really difficult time finding.
It is a squishy toy. It's called needle and Squishy too.

Speaker 1 (01:41:10):
Now I've heard of this.

Speaker 2 (01:41:11):
Okay, okay, sometimes these are very difficult to find. They're
super popular, and they're brightly colored.

Speaker 1 (01:41:17):
It's just something that you squish.

Speaker 2 (01:41:19):
Yeah, and it's just kind of like a maybe a
sensory gadget for some people, but it just makes you
feel better. These are everywhere. You can squish them, stretching whatever.
But behind these needo toys what kids are doing. It's
this emerging pattern. They are putting them in the microwave
and they're finding people and they or they'll freeze them

(01:41:42):
and then they burst.

Speaker 1 (01:41:43):
And some of the pictures of these kids that.

Speaker 2 (01:41:44):
Have been hospitalized, they say that it takes just one second.

Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Oh, there's a poor little boy. We talked about this.
Watch a couple of videos.

Speaker 5 (01:41:53):
Yeah, those two girls they put one in remember and
the one girl runs off and one girl gets okay.

Speaker 2 (01:42:02):
So they're saying, definitely, these trends are picking up and
they're part of social media that they're saying, put them
in the microwave, and they have these warnings do not heat,
freeze or microwave.

Speaker 1 (01:42:14):
It may cause personal injury.

Speaker 2 (01:42:17):
So they are warning people parents, know what your kids
are doing with these needle toys. Researchers have made a
breakthrough that could one day help restore vision by using
lab grown stem cells to rebuild damaged blood vessels in
the retina. The work is still in the research stage,
but scientists are hopeful that this could one day prevent
or reverse vision loss.

Speaker 9 (01:42:38):
I think I'm gonna finally give in and get some
glasses at some point, because I don't want to have
those stupid rating glasses. I'm gonna do what JLR wants.
I think I'm gonna get no line. Yeah, I think
I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (01:42:56):
Maybe it's great, we'll see, because I it's difficult cannot read.
I have bifocals.

Speaker 2 (01:43:05):
I don't don't want I just have the readers. I
can't see anything anymore.

Speaker 9 (01:43:10):
Like it's either that or get that surgery that my
mom had. I just don't want to do that though.
I don't like I don't want somebody messing around with
my eyeballs with lasers and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:43:21):
They happened not lasick. They have a new thing. What
is that thing? Was?

Speaker 5 (01:43:25):
Wasn't somebody doing like super migraines you end up killing
yourself over that was a cop?

Speaker 1 (01:43:30):
Was that lasik? I think that was lasick that he
got and the pain was so bad that he ended
up committing suicide.

Speaker 2 (01:43:40):
And there was nothing they could do to help. Is
the pain from the eye surgery?

Speaker 1 (01:43:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (01:43:46):
I don't know, but my mom had this surgery. She
says that her what is it near vision? I think
is whatever nearsighted, whatever it is where you can't read,
you need reading glasses.

Speaker 1 (01:43:56):
She doesn't need reading glasses.

Speaker 5 (01:43:57):
Anymore, she says, since she said this surger, she says,
it's great, but.

Speaker 2 (01:44:03):
Make the eye doctor appointment.

Speaker 13 (01:44:05):
I don't go on.

Speaker 2 (01:44:07):
Thousands are packing the streets of Pamplona in Spain for
the annual running of the bulls. The centuries old tradition
is part of the Festival of San Fermin, which is
the town's patron Saint. Starting today, several bulls weighing more
than thirteen hundred pounds will be let loose through the
narrow streets of the Old Quarter, which behinds hundreds of
people will run for safety. Not everyone makes it, and

(01:44:30):
several are injured every year, and sixteen people have been
killed over the last one hundred years.

Speaker 1 (01:44:35):
The bulls will each will run each morning through July fourteen. Yeah,
and then they get into the bowling and then they
kill them. It's good. I like it when they.

Speaker 9 (01:44:45):
Run over people that are at that festival, torturing them. Basically, yeah,
I'm all for it.

Speaker 1 (01:44:52):
Go on.

Speaker 2 (01:44:53):
The US men's national team is out of the World
Cup after losing four to one to Belgium last night.

Speaker 1 (01:44:59):
This was not oh good boy. They were I mean
the first half they were absolutely pathetic.

Speaker 9 (01:45:04):
They did better in the second half, but look a
lot of people got swept up in the team USA stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:45:14):
They got out of the group stage, they won the
first knockout round game, and everyone's like, oh, they might
win the whole thing. They at this point and Belgium's
not even that great. They're just way better than the
US and the teams that are going to remain in
this now that still will be in it. They are
just far and away a million times better than the

(01:45:35):
United States. It's just it would be impossible for them
to work.

Speaker 2 (01:45:38):
So all three host nations are out of the World Cup.

Speaker 1 (01:45:42):
Everybody's out. Now.

Speaker 2 (01:45:43):
The games that are happening today, we have Argentina versus
Egypt that's at twelve eastern and then Switzerland versus Columbia
that's at four pm Eastern.

Speaker 1 (01:45:53):
So who do you have for those games? Well, I
think you have to go with You have to go
with Argentina, okay, and you have to go with Columbia. Okay,
we'll see what happens there you go. That's the Hizzy
on Rovers Morning Glory.

Speaker 15 (01:46:12):
Do people describe you as delusional, paranoid, dim witted or
just us straight up? Well, you'll fit in right here,
Color Texas.

Speaker 1 (01:46:22):
Show now one eight six six yo Rover. That's eight
six six nine six seven six eighty three seven. Speaking
of World Cup, So England played the day before yesterday
and they won, and one of the players that didn't
even play in the game hit a little bit of
a mishapp. I'll show you here in his second his

(01:46:42):
name as Jordan Henderson. If this happens to you after
the match, do you just quit the team? Do you
go home?

Speaker 9 (01:46:49):
Do you go send put me on a plane and
send me back to England. Because they're celebrating by playing
Wonderwall by Oasis. I guess they you know, they love
Oasis over there anyway, So they're playing this song and
this guy some of the players they're jumping over. You know,
they have those led boards along the side of the field. Well,

(01:47:12):
the players are jumping over those. I think they went
over and they were like waving to the crowd or whatever.
And then they're coming back onto the field jumping over
the board. And you'll see what happens to this guy here.

Speaker 1 (01:47:23):
It is he jumps over and I mean just I
think he broke his hand or wrist or something, or
maybe his entire arm. I don't know, but oh that's embarrassing.

Speaker 5 (01:47:43):
So they're all waving for like the medics to come
over and they're like, hey, you gotta well, let me
see what how did this guy do this?

Speaker 1 (01:47:51):
Exactly?

Speaker 5 (01:47:52):
So you see this guy jumps over whoever this player
is right here. He jumps over, no problem, puts one
hand and on top of the board.

Speaker 1 (01:48:01):
This guy.

Speaker 5 (01:48:03):
I mean, he just he puts two hands on the
board and he goes to like throw his feet over
and just oh, look look at his arm.

Speaker 1 (01:48:14):
Oh he broke his arm. Oh my god. There's no
doubt about that, is there. They won? Yeah, they won.

Speaker 9 (01:48:22):
Yeah, so it see out. Well, he wasn't even playing
the game. Oh go home, go home, Just go home.
If it happens on the field, yeah, no, you jumped over.
You weren't even playing. No, just go home over that
little led board.

Speaker 5 (01:48:40):
You can't show up to the next game in a cast,
just sitting there looking like an idiot.

Speaker 6 (01:48:45):
No.

Speaker 9 (01:48:47):
Uh yeah, so this guy, I don't know how you
do that exactly, just a freak accident. I actually feel
bad for the guy, you know, I don't know if
this is his I don't know if he's been to
the World Cup before.

Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
Maybe, who knows.

Speaker 9 (01:48:58):
But imagine you get there, you're doing the whole thing
for your country, and then you just and it's just
damn embarrassing too, isn't it? Because how many times have
people seen this video of you jumping over? Why did
they make them wear these little vest things? These are
those little vest things? Are these substitute players? What's the

(01:49:20):
point of that. Why why do you need the little vest?
What's that all about? You're on the sideline, but you're
on the sideline, you're not on the field. I don't
understand that.

Speaker 1 (01:49:35):
Anyway. So we'll see what happens with with.

Speaker 9 (01:49:38):
That guy or what is I don't have an update
as to his status. But right after the match they
were talking to Harry Kane, who was one of their players,
and he's like, yeah, no, no big deal, He's all right.
I don't think he had the full information there, because
it seems to me he was taken away while the
team was celebrating. They put this dude on a stretcher,
took him to the hospital. Hmm, I forgot to take

(01:50:02):
a break. Eight sixty six, yo, Rover is our number.
What are you doing with your teeth over there?

Speaker 1 (01:50:08):
What's that? What are you doing? I always make sure
my teeth throw okay, what do you What do you
mean to make sure your teeth? What throw?

Speaker 7 (01:50:14):
There?

Speaker 9 (01:50:15):
That's weird? She was like, she was pressing in on
her teeth. What are you? Yeah, why are you? What
are you testing for?

Speaker 1 (01:50:24):
Sometimes I do my chin? What do you mean? Your
body parts just aren't falling out? Just like, what are
you do that with your chin? What is that? What
is that accomplishing with your chin?

Speaker 7 (01:50:35):
Is this?

Speaker 1 (01:50:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:50:37):
I just as you get older, you just want to
make sure everything's there.

Speaker 1 (01:50:40):
I need to get some No, no, no, this is
not what she's doing. She's are you trying to firm
up that flappy, floppy turkey skin under your chin? That's
what you're hearing. That's what you heard. See how flappy
you are?

Speaker 9 (01:50:51):
Oh no, I don't have any floppy flappy skin yet.
Is this what you're doing? There's no brain, but is
this what you're doing? You're you're trying to smooth that out.
I always do this with my right and what is
that accomplished?

Speaker 1 (01:51:06):
I don't know. It's a quirk. I see people slapping
their you know, their face. What is that going to do? Really,
you're loosen it up because you just you're like, I know,
you gotta take a break. I worked like some clovicular
you're trying to look smax over there.

Speaker 2 (01:51:27):
I worked at a NBC affiliate for in sales selling
TV space in Rockford, Illinois before I gotten radio.

Speaker 1 (01:51:33):
I only worked there for like a month. I quit.

Speaker 2 (01:51:35):
I hated it, but anyway, there was a guy that
was the on air anchor, and he would do that
in his before he'd go live.

Speaker 1 (01:51:44):
He would be like tapping his chin.

Speaker 2 (01:51:46):
He'd be like ow ow ow and even make all
these weird sounds. And I laughed so hard, and they
escorted me out of the studio. They're like, you're not
allowed to laugh at the talent, like what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:51:56):
And don't he would do this because he's trying to.
He would just like one right out his jaw.

Speaker 9 (01:52:00):
Like, seriously, you're doing the news. I'm talking for four
hours a day. I'm not doing these stretches before we
come in and do the show. That's really strange.

Speaker 4 (01:52:09):
That's just pretty good. You're just not doing him in
front of us. That's what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (01:52:12):
In Crystals is in a car for ten minutes, put
her makeup on before she comes in. That's what I'm doing.
It's sitting in my car. All right, I've got to
take a break. Eight six six yo. Rover will be
right back. Hang out.

Speaker 15 (01:52:25):
The only thing worse than your annoying morning alarm clock.

Speaker 1 (01:52:29):
Sound boops are good morning glory. You're still here right
there in the middle. Speaking of Dougie, yes, t A,
he sent me stuff in the past. He he's a

(01:52:52):
big Dougie fan since sarcasm. No, no, no, I'm dead serious.
He always wants to to take you out on the
date and stuff. Man, his workstation at work is just
he has like a shrine to Douche. If you don't
believe anybody's crazy enough to do that. Yeah, he sent

(01:53:14):
me just a few minutes ago, he sent me a
picture of his computer workstation. He says Rover, this is
by far the best background of Dougie I have ever had. Hubba, Hubba,
I am a screen grab of Douge. Yeah, from today's show.

(01:53:39):
You're wearing that outfit right there, so he must have
just screen grabbed this, and it looks it kind of
looks like amazing. I mean, I don't know. It looks
like maybe she's praying, no, well, praying to the.

Speaker 4 (01:53:52):
Hot dog one eyed monster, eyes closed, head, tilted back
mouth a game.

Speaker 1 (01:54:03):
You're a gaper important sometimes have you ever seen they
go gaping?

Speaker 5 (01:54:09):
I go, what what is this exactly all about?

Speaker 1 (01:54:13):
And I guess some guys have a fetish where they're
you know, it could be it could be the front door,
it could be the back door. It could be whatever,
and apparently they just want to see how far can
I gape this thing open? And it's like, I know
what that means. That means, like just imagine.

Speaker 2 (01:54:32):
People, it's disgusting. I want to take a look inside.

Speaker 1 (01:54:36):
Like like that. Here's Johnny, remember they open up the car, like,
what was it? What's the movie? Sticking his head right
on there. Oh it was a door with an axe,
same thing. Whatever?

Speaker 5 (01:54:52):
Uh anyway, so he's very he's very turned on by
you right now.

Speaker 1 (01:55:00):
Thanks. And I guess I'm also speaking of douche. I
don't know what it is, but Crystal said, who was
it was a douche hater?

Speaker 4 (01:55:07):
Dave for ye, douge hater Dave seventy two, stop by
he he made us a little something.

Speaker 5 (01:55:12):
And it's sitting. I haven't looked at this. I have
no idea what this is. It's a I can tell
it's a board and it's sticky on the front because
I could feel it.

Speaker 1 (01:55:25):
Ugh, smell it, Hey give it with give it a
big sniff. Let's see here it is. This is what
is this? Douge hatered Dave seventy two number one?

Speaker 5 (01:55:43):
Fam, Oh my gosh, it's rovers morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (01:55:47):
It's a logo. It's our logo in the made it
into the wood and what is what is it is?
The two girls that are on the side of our logo?
Is it very long? Is that supposed to be Dougie
with their big What is that except one crystal?

Speaker 2 (01:56:04):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:56:05):
Is what it is? Beautiful? Good job?

Speaker 2 (01:56:08):
Do notice something is spelled wrong on there as well?

Speaker 1 (01:56:12):
Don't point it out. Let's see here. Oh yeah, Jeffrey,
jeff furry j ff e r y. I think it's beautiful, Dave.

Speaker 5 (01:56:26):
Yeah, yeah, I could put a little of uh, I
could put a little masking tape that I changed my
twenty six point two head to twenty eight point sixty
four the accurate mileage.

Speaker 9 (01:56:35):
We'll just put a little little masking tape over that.
The last couple of letters. We can fix that real fast.

Speaker 1 (01:56:40):
Yeah, it's fantastic. Did you smell it? Did you give
it a whiff? I did not. No, I don't want
why what does it smell it?

Speaker 4 (01:56:47):
It smells like a carton of cigarettes.

Speaker 2 (01:56:51):
It smells like cigarette smoke, big tie.

Speaker 4 (01:56:54):
Once I took it, I was like, whoa who I
could smell it immediately.

Speaker 2 (01:56:58):
Oh nice, we're you gonna hang that over in the studio.

Speaker 5 (01:57:01):
Yeah, maybe right right underneath your epstein or right above
in epstein. Yeah yeah, in the in the fire box,
the room with the best ventilation. So I want to
make sure you guys are safe in there. Don't aren't
breathing any contaminants.

Speaker 1 (01:57:15):
AM ready, Charlie in here. Let's see there's You know,
I was doing a lot of traveling over the past
few weeks.

Speaker 9 (01:57:24):
And and by the way, just before I even get
into that, very this was not very nice what Belgium
posted to the United States after they beat US four
to one. You know, they were very upset over that
the what's a balligain that player for Team USA overturning

(01:57:44):
that his red card suspension and being allowed to play,
And they were very very upset over that. And they
end up beating USA four to one. Anyways, and they
tweeted out overturned this. That's not very well. I think
Trump should see that. We might have to go at

(01:58:05):
to war with Belgium. Now do you see they did
the Trump dance too? No, I did not see that.
I don't know if they're doing it right. People are
claiming they're doing them. I don't think that's the Trump dance,
but it's the double jerk. It kind of looks like,

(01:58:25):
let's see uh oh. But I've been doing a lot
of traveling and I have a couple of travel stories
that I saw recently. Here is a guy. Now I
don't know the whole story behind this, but this was
at an airport terminal.

Speaker 1 (01:58:40):
This was in Man. What city was it in, I
don't remember, but apparently there were two teenage girls and
they were in line, traveling.

Speaker 9 (01:58:53):
I think by themselves, but I mean, who knows how
accurate this information is. And they were being very loud
and obnoxious and giggly, and you know how annoying that
can be. And some guy told them to shut up
or be quiet, and whoa. Some dude in line at

(01:59:13):
the airport did not take kindly to that, and he
got in the guy's face, and he's going to show
you what a manly man he is.

Speaker 1 (01:59:21):
Are you ready for Are you ready for this?

Speaker 7 (01:59:23):
Listen?

Speaker 1 (01:59:23):
Listen? Listen to this fired up guy. Talk to me
the way you talk to them. See what happens? How
man talk to me the way you talk to.

Speaker 7 (01:59:37):
The little girl.

Speaker 19 (01:59:39):
I don't give him.

Speaker 17 (01:59:41):
I think you're tired, you're a brow man.

Speaker 6 (01:59:44):
Deal with it.

Speaker 1 (01:59:45):
You're tired, it's your teenager.

Speaker 13 (01:59:47):
Let them creat if my person I'm traveling, you're giving
him a hard time, you think, get it out.

Speaker 1 (01:59:55):
Yeah, so that's the extent of the video there. What
a douche like? Who gets who does that? What is
this guy tried to prove how tough he is, But.

Speaker 2 (02:00:04):
He's calling you what did I'm sorry, what did the guy.

Speaker 1 (02:00:07):
Do that was annoyed?

Speaker 5 (02:00:08):
He was just annoyed with you had the teenage girls
and he told him to shut up, be quiet.

Speaker 2 (02:00:13):
Oh, I applaud the other guy for doing that. Their
teenage kids. That's what kids do. They're annoying. I live
with one.

Speaker 1 (02:00:19):
She annoys me every single day.

Speaker 9 (02:00:21):
Yeah, but you chose that we didn't. I think I
don't want to be annoyed by people all day long.

Speaker 2 (02:00:26):
But so you go to the airport, you're going to
see people, sorry that you're not in a bubble. That
guy is standing up for these kids.

Speaker 5 (02:00:32):
This guy, this guy is an incredible douche. This is
really for the sandals. I bet those girls mom was
hot as hell and that he that was his plan.

Speaker 9 (02:00:43):
Oh so you think he was trying to get into
the mom's pants.

Speaker 1 (02:00:46):
I still don't think it's right to tell a bunch
of girls to shut up.

Speaker 9 (02:00:49):
You know, if that even happened, who knows exactly what happened.
I'm just getting information here from this, you know whatever,
this article is here, but I don't think the full details.
But I mean they just honestly, that's abnormal behavior. I
don't think so in an airport to yell and scream
like that at somebody, even if you, even if you
don't like whatever the guy did, you just say that

(02:01:11):
to the guy right if you feel Look, I see
a lot of things on an almost daily basis, and
I go, I don't like that, but you know what.

Speaker 5 (02:01:19):
I keep my mouth shut. I'm not getting involved. It's
not my kid. What do I care?

Speaker 6 (02:01:24):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (02:01:25):
If you, if you feel the need to speak up,
wouldn't you just.

Speaker 1 (02:01:31):
Say it like a normal human being instead of trying
to be mister tough guy over here, like, Oh, what
a douche that guy is.

Speaker 2 (02:01:38):
I actually have no problem with it. I applaud him
for doing that standing up for those kids.

Speaker 5 (02:01:42):
Bone says, if anybody speaks disrespectful to my daughter, I'm
confronting them with the same way that man in the
video did yet.

Speaker 1 (02:01:48):
The thing is that's not that's not his daughter.

Speaker 2 (02:01:51):
But he's saying leave those kids, not his kids, none
of his business.

Speaker 1 (02:01:57):
It is his business. He's protecting the kids.

Speaker 5 (02:02:00):
Yeah, they'll figure stuff out. They'll figure they'll figure things out.

Speaker 2 (02:02:05):
They still just figured it out. They know not to
be obnoxious now that guy did them a favor.

Speaker 1 (02:02:11):
Uh could have gone the opposite way.

Speaker 4 (02:02:14):
Those girls could have said, oh did you think we
were obnoxious before?

Speaker 1 (02:02:17):
And we were just chatting now we will be no
way to do that.

Speaker 4 (02:02:23):
I was that kind of brat if somebody told me
something like that, I was definitely going to do the opposite.

Speaker 1 (02:02:28):
Or what you just said.

Speaker 5 (02:02:29):
Are you thinking when Charlie was a fourteen year old boy,
if somebody told him to be quiet, do you think
he would how do you think he would respond to that?

Speaker 1 (02:02:37):
Oh he'd become ten times worse. That was scary what
just happened. Heyl says. I think that video is like
a year old.

Speaker 5 (02:02:42):
I don't know, it might be, but I just saw
an article about it just Uh one was this when?

Speaker 1 (02:02:47):
Was this article just like a week a week ago? Yeah? Anyway,
So I don't know if that's an old video or not.

Speaker 5 (02:02:54):
But I'm just telling you, whatever the guy's doing, he's
a complete douche, absolute absolute douche, trying to act like
a tough guy.

Speaker 1 (02:03:04):
There, give me a break. Uh. And then another travel story.
Here's a woman. Tell me what you would do? Tell
me what would she doing?

Speaker 9 (02:03:13):
In this case, this woman was she had a vacation
to Where was she going? Turks and Cacos. Is that
how you pronounced that?

Speaker 1 (02:03:24):
Yeah, I would love to go there. I've never been there.
I bet you would love it.

Speaker 9 (02:03:27):
Turks and Cacos Islands, I think. Anyways, suld this woman
was getting ready to go on a trip to Turks
and Caicos with her twenty one year old daughter, and
they planned this trip and they were going there for
a specific purpose.

Speaker 1 (02:03:46):
I guess they had.

Speaker 9 (02:03:48):
Gone to this island in the past, like when the
girl was a kid, and now the hotel that they
stayed at was doing a grand reopening, and so they
were going to recreate photos from their past trip to
the island.

Speaker 1 (02:04:02):
I love that. Well, they got to the airport and
the twenty one year old daughter forgot her passport, so
her mom just gets on the plane without her daughter,
and it's like Hey, you're an idiot. You didn't bring
your passport. She goes on the trip by herself. The

(02:04:24):
mother does and leaves the twenty one year old daughter behind.
Why are you laughing at it? That's kind of a
dick move, but it's really funny.

Speaker 9 (02:04:33):
It's a total And then she writes, you know she's
a freelance journalist. Oh, then this might be because of
this story. Even happen to be honest with you, because.

Speaker 1 (02:04:42):
That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (02:04:43):
If she wasn't a what mom is going to do
that other than I got a strange story out of this,
which is a great story.

Speaker 9 (02:04:49):
She's like, well, it's a life. My daughter is always
very forgetful. And I had they were flying out of
New York, but she had left her Oh no, they were,
they were flying out of Boston, I guess, but she
left her passport in her apartment in New York City.

Speaker 1 (02:05:07):
Now that happens exactly.

Speaker 9 (02:05:09):
Uh, and so maybe they went from New York to Boston,
Boston to Turks and Caicos, and you can fly from
New York to Boston without a passport, so she must
have left her passport behind. The mother just still went
on without her, and she's like it was a life
lesson for my twenty one year old daughter.

Speaker 1 (02:05:23):
She's very forgetful, and uh, you know it was tied
to this grand opening event. Otherwise I would have rescheduled,
but it just wasn't a chance. Are you for real? This?

Speaker 9 (02:05:34):
This seems completely abnormal to me, Like if my wife
forgot her passport, you think I'm just.

Speaker 2 (02:05:40):
Gonna leave with as you would. That's a horrible exam guys,
are oh you would absolutely you can do an event.

Speaker 1 (02:05:51):
If there was an event that you were trying to
go to.

Speaker 5 (02:05:53):
A boys concert or concert and you're like, I bought tickets,
The tickets are for tonight, they're only playing one night.

Speaker 2 (02:06:00):
Yeah, go home, get your passport, fly out tonight either.
See you.

Speaker 1 (02:06:05):
Like that? You would spent all that money. At least
one of us should enjoy it, right, That's.

Speaker 2 (02:06:10):
What you would then tell yourself to justify that that's okay.

Speaker 1 (02:06:13):
But this, I just why wouldn't you Why wouldn't you
fly the following day? You'd be passed? You go, kat,
I can't believe how dumb you are for forgetting your
passport fly out? Why would you rebook both tickets? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:06:27):
No, you can fly out tomorrow, we can rebook your
ticket and I'm going now.

Speaker 1 (02:06:31):
Because I didn't forget my passport. I guess you were
only going for the weekend. And the twenty one year
old daughter never ended up getting to Turks and Caicos,
so she was just the mother was there by herself,
and she's like I was.

Speaker 5 (02:06:45):
It was a life lesson. My daughter is very forgetful
and she's forgotten everything.

Speaker 9 (02:06:51):
And I.

Speaker 5 (02:06:53):
Tried to stop myself because she's an adult now. Yes,
I only mentioned her. I only mentioned once to make
sure you have your passport. Maybe I should have Maybe
I should have reminded her again, But she's an adult now,
that's true. But I just find it weird that you
go on vacation without your twenty one year old daughter.
If you guys have planned this vacation together, even.

Speaker 4 (02:07:16):
With an adult, I would still ask you got your passport?
Rate you have your ID because we're going to the airport.
Once we get there, Yeah, you know you're out of
luck if we're there and you don't have those important
documents in hand.

Speaker 1 (02:07:26):
My wife is such a worry word about everything, and
so she'll ask, oh, you have our passports? Yeah, And
then I just say instinctively say yes because they're always
in my backpack, and then she gets me freaked out.
So then I have to like triple check, and I'm
on zipping the thing making sure I have the passports.

Speaker 2 (02:07:45):
And I do that too. I have to check, double check,
triple check.

Speaker 4 (02:07:49):
Have it in a place that I know is secure,
that it's not going to fall out or get lost.
But at the same time, I still need to visually
look at it. Even though I know it's there, I
need to do another look. I just got that real
ID yesterday. Oh yeah, I forgotten that my license was expiring,
my tags, so I spent part of my birthday at
the BMV.

Speaker 1 (02:08:07):
Oh inspiring yesterday.

Speaker 4 (02:08:09):
Yes yeah, And I was like, I'm such a procrastinator.
And then I wait, and I have to do this today.
You wear your birthday sash to the BnB in the picture.

Speaker 1 (02:08:19):
I no, I didn't.

Speaker 4 (02:08:22):
I didn't, but boy, I was like, man, it costs
so much on your birthday to get these things renewed.

Speaker 1 (02:08:28):
It was terrible. Does it cost you for the license?

Speaker 4 (02:08:32):
It was about thirty two dollars I think was the
license for four years for the real ID. And I
was like, not terrible. And then my tag was seventy five. Oh,
so you were hundred bucks on your birthday. Gone could
have been a steak dinner or something.

Speaker 9 (02:08:47):
Uji if you were if you were getting ready to
fly somewhere with your daughter, Yeah, and she and he
told her, Gia, do you have your passport?

Speaker 1 (02:08:56):
And then she forgot it when you got to the airport.
What do you do? You would leave her behind? I
don't believe I would, because.

Speaker 13 (02:09:04):
She is.

Speaker 2 (02:09:08):
You're trying to get them to remember things, and you're
trying to get them to be held accountable. Like we
have this Google calendar that we both submit things into,
and so she's got to be in charge of her
own schedules, so she put stuff in there, and I
feel like she's sometimes dumb, like sometimes she just is like,
oh yeah, okay, I don't know where I put this.

(02:09:30):
So the only way to teach them lessons, and again
she's only sixteen.

Speaker 1 (02:09:34):
Does anyone believe Ducie would believe Gianna behind if they
were going to know, somewhere in the Caribbean or something.
I don't believe you.

Speaker 5 (02:09:41):
Go all the time, or do you like going Atlantis
Atlantis Atlantis?

Speaker 1 (02:09:44):
She would go without Gianna?

Speaker 7 (02:09:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (02:09:45):
Or make her come the following day. I don't believe it.
You're such a liar.

Speaker 1 (02:09:49):
Twenty one, two sixteen right now.

Speaker 2 (02:09:53):
Maybe not sixteen, but at twenty one junior senior in college.

Speaker 1 (02:09:57):
Yeah, but bye.

Speaker 5 (02:09:58):
Do you think and she's like, oh, I have to
teach her how to do this and that. Do you
think that Dougie is teaching Gianna the absolute worst way
to do everything in life?

Speaker 7 (02:10:10):
No?

Speaker 9 (02:10:10):
No, I'm serious, because you have the most convoluted way
of doing things, in the most complicated, inefficient way of
doing work.

Speaker 1 (02:10:19):
Actually, pretty Smarry.

Speaker 9 (02:10:20):
We don't need to rehash the camplender contest at that
you completely botched every year. But are you teaching your
daughter the same bad habits, inefficiently doing things, putting things
into whatever calendar and all that.

Speaker 1 (02:10:38):
No, she doesn't, No, she doesn't. She's fine with that.

Speaker 2 (02:10:41):
She's also had to manage her homework like this whole
last year she had all these extra honest classes and
managing all of that with her schedule.

Speaker 1 (02:10:51):
And like, she's doing fine. She's doing way better than
I did. Crystal.

Speaker 9 (02:10:56):
Would you leave your daughter behind if you were flying
to let's say that I pay for you and your daughter.

Speaker 5 (02:11:03):
I don't know why I would do this. But maybe
we did a contest on the air and you want
a trip for two, you and your daughter to go to.

Speaker 9 (02:11:11):
Atlantis and the Bahamas, and you're leaving at two pm today.
You get to the airport and your daughter doesn't have
a passport.

Speaker 1 (02:11:21):
Oh, I forgot flight leaves in twenty minutes. What do
you do? Oh, I'd leave her.

Speaker 2 (02:11:28):
You would leave her for especially if somebody else paid
for the trip for us.

Speaker 4 (02:11:32):
And we are leaving. You already knew this has been planned.
You should have been prepared to come to the airport.
I'm an over preparer. I'm the person with the luggage
out the week of my trip. I'm putting things in
it little by little. I have a list. If you
haven't learned by now, especially going to all the dance
competitions and things, how to pack your bag and be

(02:11:52):
ready to go, that's on you. That's your fault. This
was a free trip. The first thing you should have
is the passport. It's the most important, besides your phone,
which probably has your ticket on it.

Speaker 9 (02:12:02):
Those you and your wife are flying to somewhere out
of the country now for a big Star Wars convention.
All right, Yeah, and it's a big whatever. You're gonna
meet Luke Skywalker or something.

Speaker 5 (02:12:21):
Okay, sweet, You get to the airport, you're excited to
go on this trip, and right as you get up
to the counter, flight leaves in forty five minutes or whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:12:32):
I don't know. You get up to the counter and
your wife has forgotten her passport. What do you do?
She doesn't have time to go get it. What do
you do? What's she forgot on purpose? Obviously because she
doesn't want to go with you. It's star wars.

Speaker 9 (02:12:44):
Think she's going to spend the week with her secret
boyfriend back here at home.

Speaker 10 (02:12:48):
Okay, yeah, I understand, But no, she doesn't go. I'm
not leaving without her.

Speaker 9 (02:12:52):
No, you would not go without Charlie.

Speaker 1 (02:12:56):
Same thing to you. Yeah, I wouldn't go without her.
He wouldn't say, well, just catch up with me tomorrow. No, No,
you're staying behind. You're changing both tickets at extra cost
because you could fly. He'd make courfect. She still has
to change or take get paid for it. Well, she
made the mistake, Yeah, okay, I would be. I wouldn't

(02:13:17):
be happy if we got there and I forgot something
she just left. Wouldn't you be pretty mad, of course, yeah,
absolutely so, no, I'd stay not happy, Dougie. What do
you have coming up in the Hizzy?

Speaker 2 (02:13:31):
Imagine going on vacation and fishing and you end up
losing your hand and.

Speaker 1 (02:13:37):
You're a little boy. How did he lose his hand?
I'll tell you the story coming up next. And is
a little boy. It's a little boy.

Speaker 2 (02:13:44):
Oh, a little boy who lost his hand, just fishing,
hanging out with his family.

Speaker 1 (02:13:48):
Okay, we'll be right back on Rover's morning. Glory. Hang on,
no matter where you are in the world, Remember.

Speaker 15 (02:13:57):
You're never far from another road. Was moaning glory, f
it's rovers moaning glory.

Speaker 1 (02:14:13):
Hizy is coming up in just a moment. What do
you have on the way?

Speaker 2 (02:14:15):
Do she just imagine hanging out with your family a
little vacation. You're eleven year old boy and you lose
your hand?

Speaker 1 (02:14:23):
What happened? How do you lose your hand on vacation?
I'll tell you the story next. All right, we'll get
to that in just a moment.

Speaker 9 (02:14:30):
Kim says, my sister left my mom at the airport
after my mom forgot her license. One big homie says,
Charlie left Nads at the airport at one.

Speaker 1 (02:14:41):
Time, as was drunk or something. Yeah, yeah, they were
at the board. We didn't know he was running on
till I was walking on the plane.

Speaker 5 (02:14:51):
There was a then they when they step in front
of him, because I was like, oh, all right, you're
leading the.

Speaker 9 (02:14:57):
Way and he's right behind you, and they step in between.

Speaker 1 (02:15:01):
See.

Speaker 5 (02:15:01):
I actually don't really remember because I was drunk too,
so I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:15:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:15:06):
He was going up to the gate agent and he
kept asking when's the when are we going to take off?
And we're telling him you got to shut up because
there's no plane.

Speaker 1 (02:15:15):
You could see out the window.

Speaker 5 (02:15:16):
The plane isn't there, so there's no point asking, ever,
why aren't we leaving? There's no plane that exists. Because
it was we were delayed like four hours or something.
So we went to we started going to the bar,
and then I just got out of hand. So yeah,
when I walked on, he just got stopped. I don't
know if he's in front of me or behind me.

(02:15:36):
I just complete, I don't know that guy.

Speaker 10 (02:15:39):
You guys were partying in the repartying over it with
everybody dancing and stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:15:43):
Is that the same? Oh yeah, oh, everybody.

Speaker 5 (02:15:46):
This was not a normal flight to New Orleans or something.

Speaker 1 (02:15:50):
It wasn't Marty girl. It was just, this is not
a normal flight.

Speaker 5 (02:15:53):
Everybody in the area openly drinking, getting lit there dancing.
When we got on the plane, this lady grabs the microphone,
not a worker, sings happy birthday to herself, older lady,
and starts giving me a lap dance, and just it's
a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:16:11):
I wa this was a legion.

Speaker 5 (02:16:14):
And I could not believe that they wouldn't let nads
on after that, because everybody had worse behavior than he did, No,
not worse, just his was so extreme.

Speaker 1 (02:16:24):
Have you want to see it?

Speaker 13 (02:16:26):
All?

Speaker 1 (02:16:26):
Right, let's see. We were getting ladies just like.

Speaker 9 (02:16:36):
Once twerking and then the lady sitting down is just
looking like, what is.

Speaker 1 (02:16:40):
Where am I? What's going on here? Unlike any other
plane I've ever been on. Fun time, it was speaking
of of airports just and I just am thinking of
this because I recently flew why and in most gates,
not every gate, every now and then you'll get a
good one.

Speaker 9 (02:17:00):
But most gates they get on that little microphone and
they start making announcements, and you go, I can't hear
this what's going on?

Speaker 1 (02:17:07):
Oh yes, no idea. You literally cannot understand what they're saying.
Here are they talking to? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:17:12):
And it's like and then of course everyone's like confused,
huh what what did they just say?

Speaker 1 (02:17:18):
Because they were giving us some.

Speaker 5 (02:17:19):
Announcements regarding we were in Philadelphia and they were making
some announcement about this, that and the other, and airspace
is closed in New York and here and there, and
so therefore.

Speaker 1 (02:17:33):
You and I couldn't understand. So then.

Speaker 9 (02:17:37):
I actually asked the lady. I go, what did you
What did you say a couple of minutes ago. She goes, oh, well,
you're just going to be getting there ten minutes later
because the the you're taking off at the same time,
but the airspace is closed, so you're taking a longer route.

Speaker 1 (02:17:51):
I go ten minutes. That's it. That's what we're worried about.
She goes, yeah, okay, uh.

Speaker 5 (02:17:58):
Jd Ron Rover's Morning Glory, Morning JD.

Speaker 1 (02:18:02):
Morning Rovers the oarbay. What's happening?

Speaker 7 (02:18:06):
So you and I had a rather large bet on
whether or not you could walk your marathon in twelve hours.
Now I'm willing to pay, but I know how you
are with gambling, and I trust Charlie. So Charlie, do
you admit that he actually did it? And then I'll pay.

Speaker 1 (02:18:28):
Oh yeah, Rover totally killed the marathon. Crap awesome. I
couldn't believe he did it. He overcame at first. What
do we bet? Like five thousand dollars?

Speaker 7 (02:18:39):
Right?

Speaker 1 (02:18:39):
Jd uh not quite that much. Don't make him pay it?
What do we bet? Do not make him pay it?

Speaker 7 (02:18:48):
Five bucks dollars?

Speaker 1 (02:18:51):
Don't make him pay it.

Speaker 9 (02:18:52):
We'll send it the Crystal and then send the Crystal,
will send it to me. That's actually did the one
guy did pay up.

Speaker 1 (02:18:57):
One guy actually did pay up. I give him credit.

Speaker 9 (02:19:00):
He put the money in ascrow and and then Crystal
forwarded me the money yesterday. I guess after after I
definitively won that bet.

Speaker 1 (02:19:10):
All right, I'll be awaiting your five dollars.

Speaker 13 (02:19:12):
Let me let me count, let me count my change.

Speaker 1 (02:19:16):
Yeah yeah, all right, thank you? Jdduji? Are you ready
for the issues?

Speaker 6 (02:19:25):
I am?

Speaker 1 (02:19:26):
Here we go, I'll roll this morning, Gloria.

Speaker 2 (02:19:31):
Federal judge is ruled that the man accused of planting
pipe bombs in Washington, DC ahead of the January sixth,
twenty twenty one capital attack is not protected by President
Trump's pardons of the rioter.

Speaker 5 (02:19:43):
It's interesting though, because they they they almost inadvertently.

Speaker 1 (02:19:49):
Like pardoned this guy.

Speaker 9 (02:19:50):
Yeah, many crimes committed at the Capitol that day, which
is they had a very wide, sweeping, sort of unprecedented.

Speaker 6 (02:19:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:19:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:19:58):
The judge denied motion to dismiss the charges against Brian
Cole Junior, whose lawyers argued that his actions were tied
to the same events. The judge said the pardons were
expressly limited to people already convicted of January sixth offenses,
and Cole was not charged until months after Trump issued Yep, that's.

Speaker 1 (02:20:19):
That is interesting.

Speaker 9 (02:20:20):
So your pardon for anything that happened on January sixth,
but only if you've already been charged.

Speaker 1 (02:20:27):
But if you charged after it, then you're not okay.

Speaker 2 (02:20:30):
Yeah. Cole was charged last year with transporting and trying
to use explosives, and prosecutors later added terrorism and weapons
of mass destruction charges. So the bombs placed near the
Republican and Democratic Party headquarters never went off.

Speaker 1 (02:20:44):
But were deemed viable. Cole pleaded not guilty to those charges.
It took them years to find those guy, which is
I think I mean they did get him.

Speaker 9 (02:20:53):
Yeah, so that's a positive. But the fact that it
took years scary seems to be.

Speaker 1 (02:20:59):
A little on you. Usually they couldn't find this guy,
and what was his motivation? What was his motive?

Speaker 9 (02:21:03):
Like, I remember when they arrested this guy, looked at him.
I got that he looks like a nerd Like, what's what's.

Speaker 1 (02:21:09):
Not what I actually do with it?

Speaker 5 (02:21:11):
No, it just wasn't whatever I expected, like some sort
of radical. It looked kind of like a from from
what I can remember, didn't. It just looks like kind
of like a regular dude, like a nerdy looking dude.

Speaker 1 (02:21:23):
All right, go on.

Speaker 2 (02:21:25):
It looks like the FBI has come forward and said
that US agencies have seized over six hundred drones near
FIFA World Cup venues and fan zones, which since the
start of the tournament back in June eleventh.

Speaker 1 (02:21:40):
What about these drones? Six hundred drones the FBI they've seen?

Speaker 2 (02:21:44):
Oh c yeah, I get On matchdays, all aircraft operations,
including drones, are prohibited within a radius of three nautical
miles and up to three thousand feet above ground level
around the stadiums, unless specifically authorized by air traffic controllers.
The FBI said drones have been seized from restricted airspace
across all eleven of the US host cities, So.

Speaker 1 (02:22:07):
That's a lot. How do they seize those? Are the
six hundred?

Speaker 9 (02:22:11):
They have some sort of device that cripples them. I mean,
I know they have anti drone technology that they that
they have. Are they like if the president is somewhere.
I saw a picture of some dude with this weird
looking thing and somebody told me it was anti I
think on the show they said it's anti drome and
anti DRONKHN.

Speaker 1 (02:22:29):
But how would you even seize that?

Speaker 2 (02:22:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:22:32):
That's a good point. How do you get them out
of the air? That's a lot or six hundred of them. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:22:37):
A bodybuilding champion and former Mister Universe has died at
only fifty seven years old. His rivals described him as
a legend of the sport. This is six time Spanish
bodybuilding champion Jose Antonio Hernandez Torres. He was not affectionately
as Jaka. Okay, he died just a month before his

(02:23:00):
fifty eighth birthday and they did not give a cause
of death.

Speaker 1 (02:23:04):
Weird because some of these dudes that you see they
look like, oh that you're so physically fit.

Speaker 9 (02:23:11):
You saw how muscular that guy was back in the day.
And they ended up dropping dead early because of what
they've done to their bodies with the steroids and their
heart and everything.

Speaker 2 (02:23:23):
A eleven year old boy out of Pennsylvania was fishing
on vacation with his families with his dad and this
was a trip at Nelson's Fish Camp in Marion County, Florida,
and Brody was about to release the fish back into
the water that he had just caught, and an alligator

(02:23:46):
which measured eight feet seven inches, clamped its teeth into
Brodie's hands, and the dad started freaking out, jumped into
the water on top of the alligator, tried to probably
open the alligator's mouth to get the hand out. The
gate rolled and that's what ultimately severed Brody's hand.

Speaker 1 (02:24:03):
Oh man, he lost his hand.

Speaker 2 (02:24:05):
Doctors desperately tried to save the hand before it was
later amputated.

Speaker 1 (02:24:09):
He was released from the hospital.

Speaker 2 (02:24:11):
The alligator involved in the attack was later killed by
Florida Wildlife.

Speaker 5 (02:24:14):
The alligator just saw like a fish there and it
was like I'll take that snack.

Speaker 1 (02:24:18):
Yeah, wow, no kid, Yeah, how.

Speaker 2 (02:24:20):
Crazy is that the dad jumped on the alligator tried
to get that thing.

Speaker 7 (02:24:25):
Dad.

Speaker 9 (02:24:25):
Maybe, like, if that didn't jump on the alligator, the
alligator wouldn't have done that death role.

Speaker 1 (02:24:30):
And thank god I a hand.

Speaker 2 (02:24:31):
That he did, so who knows what the alligator would
have done tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (02:24:36):
This is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (02:24:37):
Communities across the country will take part in a simultaneous
reading of the Declaration of Independence. The nationwide effort in
honor of America's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary will span
ninety five hundred miles and nine time zones to mark
the day that the document was first read aloud on
July eighth of seventeen seventy six.

Speaker 1 (02:24:56):
The event is run by American two fifty.

Speaker 2 (02:24:59):
We should have Jeffrey to mar read the Declaration of
Independence on it.

Speaker 1 (02:25:02):
They on the aftermath.

Speaker 2 (02:25:06):
This sounds kind of gross, but Pringles is in the news.

Speaker 1 (02:25:09):
I know that they are selling something that sounds gross.

Speaker 2 (02:25:15):
Flavored hot dog buns in Stringles can not a joke.
It's a limited edition stunt to celebrate National hot Dog Day,
which is next Wednesday. So Pringles is getting in on it,
and they announced that they'll be selling flavored hot dog buns.
The buns will have the flavors of their chips, and
the buns will come in can'ts, one bun per can't.
They're called Pringles Pop Dog Buns, limited edition line of

(02:25:39):
potato based hot dog buns infused with three flavors sour
creamin onion, barbecue, and honey mustard. So they're only available
through Pringles online marketplace once you popmarket dot com.

Speaker 5 (02:25:51):
They love Pringles over there in England. And I bought
two because I bought a can of Pringles and I go, this,
this can of prank must be stale. Sometimes wrong with
this can of Pringles. So I bought another one, same thing.

Speaker 1 (02:26:05):
Oh, they did different things, like I bought a bag
of Doritos there the o they're different.

Speaker 5 (02:26:12):
Something different, like they have less's healthier in some way.
Maybe it stepped in and maybe they didn't. They go,
we're gonna make you live longer. But things just don't
taste as good over there.

Speaker 1 (02:26:20):
I have to be honest, Like the Ritos they're using
more corn in the in the chip, like the chips
taste more like corn. Like we're probably using all.

Speaker 5 (02:26:31):
Sorts of weird artificial fillers and stuff. I should have
looked at the ingredients and seeing what the difference is,
because it's it's a pretty dramatic taste difference. In the pringles,
they just seem stale. I don't think they have enough preservatives.
I need extra preservatives in my pringles.

Speaker 2 (02:26:47):
And finally, Shakira has announced that the FIFA Global Citizen
Education Fund.

Speaker 1 (02:26:53):
She will be teaming up with them and.

Speaker 2 (02:26:55):
They will provide half a million dollars to help children
in Venezuela continue their education following the country's devastating earthquakes.

Speaker 5 (02:27:04):
These kids are like, finally an earthquake, I don't have
to go to school.

Speaker 1 (02:27:07):
Oh wait, Shakira is making me out. That sucks.

Speaker 2 (02:27:10):
She's gonna try to help them. She's proud to support
the initiative addressing those needs. The singer noted the funding
will help trusted local organizations get children back into classrooms,
support teachers, and restore access to learning.

Speaker 1 (02:27:25):
So I think that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (02:27:26):
There you go, that's the Shizzy on rovers Morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (02:27:32):
Let's starting intention to see the business profession.

Speaker 9 (02:27:39):
How did Shakira just I remember she had this song,
and then I think she had one other song that
you would know.

Speaker 1 (02:27:46):
How is she so big? Like she's performing at the
super Bowl and this and that, and then she she
has more than one song. Maybe in South America, it's
like the Spanish. It's like that guy who performed Bad Bonnie.
You're like, how is he so famous? No one knows,
No one Bad Bunny song.

Speaker 5 (02:28:03):
That was the worst halftime performance I've ever seen.

Speaker 1 (02:28:07):
He is the one song. He's huge.

Speaker 20 (02:28:08):
People know him just because you don't.

Speaker 1 (02:28:20):
Do you know this one? Yes?

Speaker 5 (02:28:22):
Yes, I do. Tell me if you're this guy who plays.
I don't know who this pitcher is exactly.

Speaker 9 (02:28:31):
I haven't been watching a lot of baseball, but this
guy pitches for the Marlins, and they were playing the
Athletics on Sunday, and this guy pitched the starting pitcher,
Yuri Perez.

Speaker 1 (02:28:48):
If I'm pronouncing his name right.

Speaker 9 (02:28:50):
He pitched ninety two pitches total through seven innings. He
was pitching a perfect game. Now, don't pitch count is
not exceptionally high by any stretch of the imagination. Through
seven innings, he's pitching a perfect game. That means no hits,

(02:29:11):
no walks, nobody's on has has reached the base. I
don't know how many people have pitched a perfect game
in the history of baseball. I'm sure Charlie can. His
little fingers can move pretty quickly and google that. How
many pitchers have pitched a perfect game? And major League
baseball history is the perfect game? Specifically, No, it means

(02:29:32):
every batter that comes up to the plate you get out.

Speaker 1 (02:29:36):
You have to nobody. No, you don't have to strike
him out. It could pop out, it could ook the
ground up. But nobody has reached base. Not one person
throughout the entire game has reached base, either through a
walk or a hit or anything. It hasn't happened a lot.
Says times.

Speaker 2 (02:29:51):
It's twenty four times.

Speaker 1 (02:29:53):
That's it. Yeah, that's what says.

Speaker 9 (02:29:56):
That's it, only twenty four times in the history of
Major League bay It's gotta be higher than that.

Speaker 1 (02:30:01):
That's a really hard thing. Only twenty four times. You're kidding, No,
it's got to be higher. I trust knits. Well, I
don't know, Charlie. What what do your fast fingers come
up with? Twenty four twenty four? That's crazy. That makes
it even more bro Those recent was twenty twenty three. Okay,
so this guy, he's thrown more than one. He pitches

(02:30:22):
seven perfect innings, and there's nine innings again more to
go nice, and they pull him out of the game.
Why they pull him out of the game because.

Speaker 9 (02:30:32):
Why because Baseball for whatever reason recently, and I don't know,
I haven't I didn't hear whatever explanation they gave. But
baseball now believes in the super low pitch counts. And
they're you know, you used to have a starting pitcher
that would go seven, eight, you know, innings, maybe even
pitch a complete game, but you would you normally get

(02:30:54):
like into at least six maybe seven innings. Now a pitcher,
the starting pitcher, he does like four innings and then
and they do like eighteen relievers to finish out the game.
Incredibly low pitch counts. They've got it in their head
that that's what you need to do. Maybe it's right,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:31:10):
In normal circumstances. Maybe yeah, sure, yeah, but there's in
a perfect game through seven innings, if you can get
six more batters out.

Speaker 9 (02:31:18):
He now becomes only the twenty fifth person in Major
League Baseball history.

Speaker 1 (02:31:23):
To pitch a perfect game. Now would he do it?

Speaker 9 (02:31:26):
Odds might be stacked against you because you've gone through
seven innings, you have two more to go. I'll bet
you it's I'll bet you a lot of people, a
lot more than twenty four have pitched seven perfect innings
and then they get into the eighth of the ninth
and they blow it, you know, unfortunately. But the fact
that they would take this guy out of the game,
shame on them.

Speaker 1 (02:31:46):
I shame on them.

Speaker 2 (02:31:47):
How do you not know that that was best for
the team. You have to trust the process of what
the coach needs.

Speaker 1 (02:31:52):
Knower for the team than having a guy on the
mound who hasn't let anybody get on base. He's pitching
a perfect game. How does he get any better? His
arms probably turning into mush. Not after ninety two pitches, No, no, no,
two pitchers. Ninety two ninety two pitches is not a
high pitch count. It's not it's not, no. No.

Speaker 9 (02:32:11):
If you were telling me he was at one hundred
and twenty one hundred and thirty pitches, you go, Okay,
maybe ninety two pitches through seven innings pitching a perfect game.

Speaker 1 (02:32:22):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (02:32:24):
I trust the coach. The coach knows more than you
or the player.

Speaker 9 (02:32:28):
It's interesting because they his replacement came in to start
the eighth inning and immediately gave up a leadoff walk
to end the perfect game. Then the next batter hit
a single to end the no hitter, So I believe
that they ended up. Did they win the game? I
don't remember.

Speaker 1 (02:32:49):
That's an important win. Heart of the story. You useduld
look and paragraph two, did they win or lose?

Speaker 9 (02:32:55):
Let's see here, it's probably a paragraph took. Let's see
the Marlins. Oh, they had a nine to lead. The
Marlins had. They almost ended up blowing it because in

(02:33:15):
the eighth the guy who came in they gave up.
He gave up five runs, and then in the ninth
inning they give it to another picture. He gave up
three runs, so they almost blew their nine oh lead,
It ended up nine to eight.

Speaker 2 (02:33:31):
But they also is it worth injuring the picture?

Speaker 9 (02:33:34):
The picture would have was his first game back after
an injury.

Speaker 1 (02:33:37):
Okay, forget that. Yeah, let the guy at least you
know what you have. You have somebody ready to go.
Once he walks, somebody or somebody gets a hit, you go, Okay,
you're out. But if you're pitching a perfect game, you
have to let the guy continue. You have to.

Speaker 9 (02:33:55):
If I were this picture and my coach, my manager
pulls me out after seven innings.

Speaker 5 (02:34:02):
I never played for that guy ever. Again, I purposely
throw games. I bet against myself on Kaoshi. I'm seriously
what an absolute shame that they did that to that guy.

Speaker 2 (02:34:15):
Can you say no, Ash, Can you say.

Speaker 1 (02:34:19):
No No, it's up to the manager. He goes, no,
you're out. You got to trust the manager. See what
would you do? You chest bump the manager. I'm not
leaving the Mimi. Yeah, has that happened before?

Speaker 9 (02:34:30):
I wonder, Well, I don't think the guy came out
to the mound, because this would have been in between innings.

Speaker 1 (02:34:34):
This guy completed seven innings.

Speaker 9 (02:34:36):
He goes back to the dugout and the manager goes, yeah,
you're out of the game.

Speaker 1 (02:34:40):
Now, that's when you that's when.

Speaker 9 (02:34:41):
You take your glove and you smack the manager in
the face.

Speaker 7 (02:34:44):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:34:44):
That probably saved him from injuring himself further like that
probably really helped salvage his health.

Speaker 4 (02:34:52):
The article I read so that they had planned on
him doing ninety pitches.

Speaker 2 (02:34:56):
Yeah you got the ninety two, okay, so what's the point.

Speaker 1 (02:34:58):
But they also didn't plan on him pitching a perfect
game or sout, so.

Speaker 2 (02:35:02):
What they knew?

Speaker 1 (02:35:05):
No, I think they did the right thing. Oh, man,
this guy will never have that opportunity ever again. Why
greats never know? This is like a once in a
lifetime thing. You're never going to be in this situation
ever again.

Speaker 9 (02:35:16):
Probably, that is incredibly, incredibly rare.

Speaker 1 (02:35:20):
Whenever a team has momentum is usually.

Speaker 4 (02:35:23):
When you don't go, you know what, we should stop
doing this, even just you walk in the marathon. Once
you stop that momentum, it's hard to gain it back.

Speaker 7 (02:35:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:35:31):
Once he gives up.

Speaker 5 (02:35:32):
One guy gets on a base, not even score base
the perfect game ever, you pull him, You go, all right, good,
we did a good try.

Speaker 1 (02:35:38):
Good job, you got up to ninety seven. But we
let you pitch.

Speaker 9 (02:35:42):
We were thinking ninety but ooh you threw seven more pitches,
Big deal.

Speaker 4 (02:35:45):
Ye wouldn't you just ask him, hey, how are you feeling?
Because obviously this is going well? Do you want to
stay up on the mound for a few more you know, batters?

Speaker 2 (02:35:53):
And wouldn't you at least communicate that way?

Speaker 9 (02:35:56):
It makes sense, one would think, one would think, But
I feel bad for this guy. Man, I didn't know
that it was that rare. Only twenty four times a
perfect game. Yeah, like so think of all the games
ever played in Major League Baseball history.

Speaker 5 (02:36:12):
Yeah, I don't know what that number is. I'm sure
some statistician has tell you the number. And this is
probably a little bit off, just whenever this was written.
But two hundred and forty three thousand games in only
twenty four perfect games.

Speaker 1 (02:36:27):
That's crazy.

Speaker 9 (02:36:28):
This guy does it through seven innings. Would he have
been able to complete the game a perfect game? Maybe not,
but at least you give him the shot.

Speaker 1 (02:36:37):
He was injured. He's going on in the history books,
but he was injured.

Speaker 9 (02:36:41):
Your ninety's fine, plussy, He's fine. It's weird how rare
it is. But then in twenty twelve, there's three of
them in that year. Oh wow, But then nothing since two?
Is that possible? Isn't that very strange?

Speaker 1 (02:36:53):
Who are the three? Philip Humber love him? Matt Caine
heard of it. Felix Hernandez, he's great. Three person games
had one year? Yeah, I got the list right here.
There you go.

Speaker 5 (02:37:05):
What was going on with that? So twenty twenty three
is the last one? Yeah, and then before that done
until twenty twenty twelve, three of them twenty ten, twenty ten, cuse.

Speaker 1 (02:37:19):
Nine, I just starts going back. That's insane. I didn't
know it was that rare. I knew it was rare,
but I thought it I thought it had been done
like two hundred times. Oh god, no, how could that
be doing. You're like, oh god, you have idea.

Speaker 2 (02:37:32):
I know a lot, man, I am a baseball fanatic.

Speaker 1 (02:37:36):
Stick with me, kid, I've got to take a break.
We'll be right back on Rovers Morning Glory. Hang on.

Speaker 15 (02:37:43):
The only show that manage is to unite both the left,
communists and the right. Gosh, they both think we're stupid.

Speaker 17 (02:37:51):
I don't know if you're acting stupid.

Speaker 1 (02:37:53):
Welcome back to Rovers Morning Glory.

Speaker 6 (02:37:55):
Most proud in history.

Speaker 5 (02:38:07):
The mailman Ben gave me a statistic here, something even
more rare than someone pitching a perfect game, and that
is for a team to score in every inning of
the game. He says that the Royals did it just

(02:38:27):
last night. Only twenty one teams have done it. He says, so,
only twenty one times that's been done in the history
of Major League Baseball.

Speaker 2 (02:38:38):
What does the pitching clock, door, pitching clock. If they
have the clock that measures the speed, isn't that put
a lot of.

Speaker 1 (02:38:51):
Pressure on the pitchers?

Speaker 7 (02:38:53):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (02:38:53):
The speed?

Speaker 2 (02:38:54):
Yeah, the speed of the ball, or how often they're
pitch clock?

Speaker 1 (02:38:57):
What's a pitch clock? That's a timer? So does that
put not a radar?

Speaker 7 (02:39:02):
Gum?

Speaker 2 (02:39:03):
Oh that's what I was taking. Remember I told you I.

Speaker 1 (02:39:06):
Know a lot about baseball. Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (02:39:08):
What is the Yeah hit in the head by one
that's a my bohead so big? What does that do
to the picture? Does that put a lot more a
lot more pressure on them?

Speaker 1 (02:39:18):
Spreads up the game? I don't know if it puts
any more pressure on them.

Speaker 2 (02:39:21):
So I feel like that would put a lot more
pressure on them, don't you. Yeah, it would. I know
a lot about sports.

Speaker 1 (02:39:29):
Yeah, yeah, anyway, See, he says the Royals just did
it last night only twenty one times. She says that
that's been done. I don't know. Maybe that's true. I
haven't looked that up yet.

Speaker 5 (02:39:39):
But you got to go to a game. I will
take your word for it. Keith Hodgkinus. You just sent
me an invite to come to a game.

Speaker 1 (02:39:46):
He did. Yeah, I heard a radio uh staff outing, Yeah,
that's good. I are SVP? Did you RSVP already? I
didn't see the invite. Crystal, yesterday was your birthday? Mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (02:40:00):
I know you went to renew your driver's license yesterday.
What else did you do for your birthday?

Speaker 1 (02:40:06):
Nothing?

Speaker 4 (02:40:06):
Really, Honestly, my daughter was with me over the weekend,
so she stayed until yesterday. So I went ran around,
did that license thing, and then I went and hung
out with her at home for a little bit, and
then had dessert with my boyfriend.

Speaker 9 (02:40:19):
With dessert with your boyfriend? What is that creepy looking smile?
And she just gave what does that mean? What is
dessert with your boys? Gave him some dessert?

Speaker 1 (02:40:29):
Ah? Okay, was he with you? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:40:33):
We were together last night.

Speaker 1 (02:40:34):
Ah. And what did he get you for your birthday?

Speaker 7 (02:40:38):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (02:40:39):
Nothing? Really, No, we didn't do anything like that. No,
no gifts ex shame. No, we got dessert, we got sweets.
We did honestly get like this. I need to figure
out how I can get my wife into this way.
No gifts are exchanged. Oh birthday, Yeah, you don't need anything.

Speaker 2 (02:40:56):
Yeah, but you've been together for a long time.

Speaker 1 (02:40:57):
But your boyfriend you just give me on your birthday. Hunt,
that's what I need.

Speaker 2 (02:41:02):
To get to be disappointed If I didn't get anything.

Speaker 1 (02:41:04):
On my birthday, were you disappointed? Did you expect something? No?
Why did you get him anything for his birthday?

Speaker 15 (02:41:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:41:13):
Some what I get him though, something small like hot
sauce or something like he loves hot sauce, and I
got him like a variety pack of hot sauce or something,
or a couple of little shirts like that.

Speaker 2 (02:41:25):
All over, not just the nipples.

Speaker 1 (02:41:31):
No, I didn't want anything like that.

Speaker 16 (02:41:33):
Not.

Speaker 4 (02:41:33):
I don't need anything extravagant. Just be extravagant is lovely
enough for me.

Speaker 1 (02:41:38):
Anything. Yeah, he could have gotten at the McDonald's. That's
not extravagant. Nice. I'm sure he's waiting for this weekend
just because that's also what I plan on celebrating.

Speaker 4 (02:41:51):
It being a Monday night, I really didn't plan on
doing anything on a Monday, so I was kind of
really hoping to celebrate this weekend more than anything.

Speaker 2 (02:41:58):
Do you have plans to I? I would like to.

Speaker 4 (02:42:00):
I just waiting on the weather to decide on what
I want to do for my birthday because if it's
crappy out then I need to find something indoors to do.

Speaker 1 (02:42:09):
So are you doing something with him?

Speaker 13 (02:42:11):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:42:11):
Well, do dinner. That's pretty much. I love to eat.
He knows that that's all you need to do. Get
me a good steak or some food and some sweets,
and I'm pretty happy.

Speaker 1 (02:42:20):
That's what he knew.

Speaker 4 (02:42:20):
I was happy with a krawfel yesterday from the sweet
spot ow like University Heights area.

Speaker 1 (02:42:26):
You're happy with? What a kraffel? What's that?

Speaker 4 (02:42:29):
It's a croissant pretty much put in a waffle iron.
It looks like a little waffle and then some cream
and strawberries and stuff on top, and some mango moose.

Speaker 1 (02:42:39):
So I was happy with a little dessert spread. Okay,
all right, Dugi, it doesn't sound like you did much.
You said yesterday. You didn't really do much for your
birthday either. No, I'm good. I don't your daughter gets
you anything? No, nothing, No.

Speaker 2 (02:42:55):
I know she has a car payment coming up, so
she I told her to say for.

Speaker 1 (02:43:00):
Money, and that would be a gift. Pay your first
car payment. That's not a gift. That's an obligation.

Speaker 5 (02:43:05):
No, No, that's an obligation, right, isn't working, isn't She's
supposed to pay for her own car.

Speaker 1 (02:43:10):
So that's that's not a gift to you. That's just
what she's supposed to do her own car.

Speaker 2 (02:43:13):
She's paid her first Listen, I don't know that one month.
I'll take what I can get because then she starts
back at training coming up.

Speaker 1 (02:43:24):
How much is it? It's like there's a lie. She's making.
That number due July nineteenth. So two hundred and fifty dollars,
that's it. That's a lot for a sixteen year old.

Speaker 2 (02:43:35):
Yes, it's the end of the world for a sixteen
year old.

Speaker 1 (02:43:37):
Yeah, she's got a babysitting she has to do. She's
doing it. What does a babysitting job pay these days?

Speaker 9 (02:43:44):
Like like when I was a little kid, I know,
like babysitters get paid five dollars an hour.

Speaker 1 (02:43:53):
What does a babysitter get paid today?

Speaker 4 (02:43:56):
Yeah, because when I got paid, it would wouldn't even
be like that.

Speaker 1 (02:43:59):
They just get me a little lump sum.

Speaker 4 (02:44:01):
Here's fifty bucks for being here, sure whatever, for many
hours of the night. But it would depend if the
mother paid me. The mom would pay me a little less,
if the dad paid me. He always paid me just
a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (02:44:13):
Why do you think that is? You know, dog? What
is a babysitter? I don't know. Well, is that what
your daughter is doing? Is that her job? Well?

Speaker 2 (02:44:27):
Yeah, but I don't dictate the price. She's new at it.
She doesn't have a certification. These are people that we know,
mom that sick.

Speaker 9 (02:44:36):
And you're claiming that you don't know how much money
she gets paid.

Speaker 1 (02:44:39):
The babysit.

Speaker 11 (02:44:41):
I can calculate, because any kid is going to go, oh,
they want to pay me fifty bucks or whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:44:49):
They you'd run it by she'd run it by you.

Speaker 2 (02:44:52):
No, she's just grateful to be working, and she loves
the kids, and she had fun.

Speaker 1 (02:44:57):
And what does she get paid? You must be able
to I mean, I don't should I do it once?
So far? Multiple times? She's done it three times? Three?
How long at a time? Different variations? Do math? Okay,
So it was how much did she get paid? How
many hours? Mike paid per hour?

Speaker 2 (02:45:17):
I'm not Mike. She just gets cash. Letting her be
an adult. It's for her to decide. And I she
went to the bank and put some cash in and
then she's got some cash on her and I mean,
I don't know what more do you?

Speaker 1 (02:45:30):
I think that's actually pretty good. You should be working
on the donut truck right this summer or no.

Speaker 2 (02:45:35):
A little bit, A little bit she gets mad because
I don't pay her.

Speaker 9 (02:45:39):
Don't let her deflect here. What does she make babysitting?
I know you must know this number? Why are you
pretend I don't know?

Speaker 2 (02:45:45):
One night she came home, I was already in bedd
and what did she have? One?

Speaker 1 (02:45:49):
I don't know. I didn't ask.

Speaker 2 (02:45:50):
I'm just glad that she has money coming in, so
I don't need to.

Speaker 1 (02:45:55):
Why do I need to say? What am I going
to tell? If that's not enough?

Speaker 2 (02:45:59):
Now?

Speaker 1 (02:46:00):
I'm glad that you if your daughter were babysitting somebody
when she was fifteen years old, she went to go babysit, Okay,
I not sixteen, big deal. She goes to babyshit When
she comes home, does she tell you? Or do you ask?
How much money did you make? Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:46:17):
For sure she either would tell me and I wouldn't
even have to ask, And if not, I would be like,
how much you make?

Speaker 21 (02:46:22):
Just out of curiosity? How much is word? I was
one of the time.

Speaker 1 (02:46:34):
So why did she get paid?

Speaker 2 (02:46:37):
No?

Speaker 1 (02:46:37):
Like she gets good much she gets You don't want
to say any Why do you know?

Speaker 2 (02:46:41):
I don't know what people get paid with the babysitting.

Speaker 1 (02:46:45):
I don't know what's normal, daid this one. We're asking?

Speaker 4 (02:46:48):
No family's paid different money? So you know, this family
might pay you one hundred, this family might pay you
seventy five, And she doesn't want to say that number on.

Speaker 1 (02:46:56):
Air because you can negotiate, or you want.

Speaker 2 (02:46:59):
To have that job and keep earning that seventy five.

Speaker 1 (02:47:01):
It's still good and she loves working for this family. Okay, okay,
So why does she get paid? I don't want to
save I don't know they listen, who cares they know
how much they paid. I'm not asking you for their
bank account number. I'm just asking how would they pay
their baby. It's not a stage secret.

Speaker 4 (02:47:19):
If it's a good rate, other families might go, we'll
pay that.

Speaker 1 (02:47:22):
Too, and now have five families she could work for.
Do you think she getting overpaid or underpaid if it
were up to you, well, I think it's actually perfect.

Speaker 5 (02:47:30):
I think it's overpaid. And that's why she does want
to say it. She was going to say the number,
then everybody's gonna call on and go, what the hell,
and then they're going to lower the rate. I think
is the problem.

Speaker 1 (02:47:40):
So she's trying not to shoot herself or Gianna in
the flood.

Speaker 2 (02:47:44):
Basically, it was with you fourteen dollars an hour.

Speaker 1 (02:47:49):
She's kidding. I don't.

Speaker 9 (02:47:50):
First, I don't trust your math. I don't, okay, But
why would you just tell us the number.

Speaker 1 (02:47:55):
I just did? You did nineteen? What's a total amount
that she was paid?

Speaker 6 (02:48:00):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (02:48:00):
I don't know. I know one time. If you don't know,
how are you calculating for dollars an hour?

Speaker 2 (02:48:06):
I know that one of the times I was in
bed when she came home, and then.

Speaker 1 (02:48:11):
The other one. I just calculated what did she get
paid for? The other one? Fourteen an hour? Why did
she get paid for the second night?

Speaker 2 (02:48:18):
That one was only a couple of hours?

Speaker 5 (02:48:20):
How many hours too? Twenty eight dollars?

Speaker 1 (02:48:24):
One? So that was that?

Speaker 2 (02:48:30):
Because that was that one was fifteen dollars twenty eight dollars,
and that was thirty bucks, and then the other one
was like fourteen bucks?

Speaker 1 (02:48:42):
So what waste dollars for? How long?

Speaker 7 (02:48:46):
For?

Speaker 1 (02:48:47):
As I said, so, what how did you say that
she gets fourteen dollars an hour if she was because
I count it's different times she told me. So they
just gave her how many bucks? How did you turn
into the biggest liar on the show? I actually don't
think I'm lying at all? Lying?

Speaker 2 (02:49:05):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (02:49:05):
Oh, can't you and lies all the time. This right,
I calculated. She also lied about the car. I forget
what she lied about what. I can't lie about your car,
whatever year it was.

Speaker 2 (02:49:18):
But I didn't know. I didn't ask. I bought a
used car price.

Speaker 5 (02:49:21):
She doesn't know the price. Lies a car and doesn't
know the price. What's the price?

Speaker 1 (02:49:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:49:29):
So one night she came home with twenty eight dollars
thirty bucks thirty and she worked for two hours.

Speaker 1 (02:49:35):
But somehow she's calculated.

Speaker 2 (02:49:37):
That in the other one was if I broke down
the hours she was given.

Speaker 1 (02:49:40):
Well, what's the other one that she was given seventy bucks?

Speaker 9 (02:49:43):
Seventy dollars five hours, Okay, that is fourteen.

Speaker 2 (02:49:48):
That's why I just calculated, and thirty. So she's got
over one hundred dollars that she got.

Speaker 1 (02:49:56):
That's too bad rate. She's a long hour. It's not low.
I think it's low. I don't know, man. I eighteen
dollars an hour, that's a lot. Yeah, but things tax
free inflation like it's insane.

Speaker 5 (02:50:09):
But you don't want McDonald's workers to get fifteen dollars
an hour.

Speaker 1 (02:50:12):
You complain about that?

Speaker 9 (02:50:14):
No, No, I'm just saying when everybody gets paid so much,
everything gets way more expensive. Yeah, I'm not saying whether
a baby should a sitter should keep got that it
was close.

Speaker 1 (02:50:25):
I'm not saying a babysitter should or should not get
paid fifteen dollars an hour. I'm just saying, I I
don't know, maybe that is the going rate seems a
little low because I know from my understanding, babysitters are
hard to find. Well, if you talk to somebody there, I.

Speaker 4 (02:50:45):
Was like, I can't find that macause you got to
find everybody toobody good.

Speaker 2 (02:50:48):
Yeah, that's of thing is if you like someone, you're
willing to pay whatever to keep them.

Speaker 4 (02:50:52):
I loved when I worked at the dance studio and
I had access to teenage girls because then they had
a relationship with my daughter and I could trust.

Speaker 1 (02:50:59):
Them and be like, can you come babysit?

Speaker 4 (02:51:01):
And that was nice because I could pay them a
decent rate to come over for a couple hours and
it was somebody I trusted. And that I think is
the problem with babysitters is you don't trust everybody, So
to find somebody that is capable is a pretty awesome thing.

Speaker 5 (02:51:15):
Well, these days, babysitter not like babysitters wherever. Like I
was a kid, I would have babysitters from time to time,
and it's not like they paid a whole lot of
attention to you. But these days, could you imagine what
a babysitter does. They just sit on on the phone.
They're on TikTok all day point to pay somebody for that.
How many kids does she watching a time? How many kids?

Speaker 1 (02:51:36):
Two? Two?

Speaker 5 (02:51:37):
She was getting ripped seven only done dollars per kid
per I've just looked at the average rates here hold on,
and she's.

Speaker 2 (02:51:46):
Okay, it's a great start. She has money coming in.
I think I'm pretty proud of her.

Speaker 1 (02:51:50):
Dave says, I game more for someone to watch my dog.

Speaker 5 (02:51:54):
Yeah, here's the average average rates. Okay, can you go
one kid twenty six dollars two Now we're gonna go Cleveland,
Ohio area and it's just eighteen to twenty.

Speaker 1 (02:52:06):
But wow, I.

Speaker 4 (02:52:07):
Wonder because my friends and nanny she's and she sticks
with a family for years and she helps raise those
kids and that's her.

Speaker 2 (02:52:14):
Full time job. Well, nanny's different, so I wonder how
much she makes.

Speaker 4 (02:52:17):
She's also she's taking the kids places, She's making sure
that they're I mean, she's doing a lot, almost like
a second mom in the house, helping even facilitate. Maybe
she's folding laundry or cleaning the house for the family.

Speaker 1 (02:52:29):
Panna's not doing any of that stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:52:31):
I'm like, so I would think she's making more of
this kind of money. No, nanny, that's way, that's too different.

Speaker 1 (02:52:37):
Does say teen sitter for an easy date night is
between fifteen and twenty dollars an hour? Says?

Speaker 9 (02:52:43):
Most babysitters by me charge eighteen to twenty dollars an hour.

Speaker 4 (02:52:48):
Well, we're not there yet. Are those adult babysitters or
teenage babysitters? She's I do think there's a difference.

Speaker 1 (02:52:54):
There as well.

Speaker 4 (02:52:55):
I don't know I would pay a teenage less money
than I would an adult.

Speaker 1 (02:52:58):
She's fine.

Speaker 2 (02:52:59):
She doesn't to be trying to negotiate prices unless she
ever see pr license.

Speaker 6 (02:53:04):
No.

Speaker 1 (02:53:04):
I already said, like, she's not that for success negotiating skills.

Speaker 2 (02:53:10):
I just want her to get a little bit of
money coming in.

Speaker 1 (02:53:12):
She's she's gonna be fine. Okay, all right, let's see here.
What do I have? Do I have food fighters tickets
to give away to again?

Speaker 5 (02:53:27):
What do you think I don't know you tell me yeah, okay, God,

Speaker 2 (02:54:04):

Speaker 13 (02:54:08):
What?

Speaker 2 (02:54:09):
I didn't get that? How's she going to watch herself?

Speaker 1 (02:54:12):

Speaker 9 (02:54:18):
