Speaker 1 (00:00):
The only show that manages to unite both the left
communists and the right dashas they both think we're stupid.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
I don't know if you're acting stupid. We'll get back
to Rover's Morning Glory.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Most crumpted history.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
These shoosy is coming up in just a moment. What
do you have on the way, Dug.

got doing this morning?
Speaker 6 (00:55):
I just want to, oh hey, I just want.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
To make you a quick comment on them.
Speaker 6 (01:00):
I think as wrong as Jimmy Haslam is running the show,
we're just not gonna be competitive, you know. I mean
you take a guy like Art Modell that you know organization,
and he knew how to get cowered.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
In here, and we were competitive. Well, man, I.
Speaker 7 (01:22):
Would assume has a competitive guy. He's a successful businessman.
I mean, I would assume he wants to win. I
just don't understand what's going on. They've made some incredibly
boneheaded moves. DeShawn Watson and then talking about Deshaun Watson.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Oh, he's our number one. He's gonna be great. What
give it up? Give it up?
Speaker 7 (01:42):
If you made the worst decision in the history of
the NFL, give it up.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Move.
Speaker 6 (01:49):
I mean, I mean, with this new stadium and stuff
like that.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I mean, you know, he's.
Speaker 6 (01:54):
Stop giving like, uh, I think he bought like a
soccer team or something like.
Speaker 7 (01:59):
That, and it's well, you think, off, I think he
owns the Columbus Crew, which is an MLS team, a
soccer team, but I mean the revenue for for for
an MLS team like that. I don't know what it
is Columbus Crew, but it's it's got a pale in
comparison by a million compared to NFL. And uh, you see,
(02:22):
your main priority should be your NFL team, and I'm
sure it is, but I don't know what the hell's
going on.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
I think I just it's it's sad. It's just sad.
That's what it boils down to. It's sad.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
And well, it just.
Speaker 6 (02:35):
Seems like you got all these other cities, like you know,
like like Pittsburgh, and and it's like you know, like
like like you know, Mike, Mike Tomlin he's never had
a losing season with what twenty years with the Steelers.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Well he's uh uh yeah, I guess. Look, I don't
know if he's ever had a losing maybe not. But look,
they there, the Browns just are not competitive.
Speaker 7 (03:02):
They I've lived here, trying to think. I moved here
in two thousand and three. I believe in that. Let's see,
so that's coming up on almost twenty five years. I
believe the Browns have been competitive in two, possibly three
of those years. I mean, yeah, three years they were,
(03:23):
they were good.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
But I'm trying to think past that.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
Yeah, the last time the Browns were actually competitive is
when Bernie cos Ours was our quarterback back in the
mid eighties.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Well, they went to the playoffs in twenty twenty.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
We're in the championship game. Three years in a row.
We have we'll never make it.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
To a chimp. Yeah, yeah, that's probably true.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
I mean, my goodness, we had a year where we
had zero wins, zero wins.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
How embarrassing is that? Dog? I approci yes, yes, go on.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
Quickly, it's just that make a real quick coming. There's
two even in my life that I never ever really
thought whatever really happened is one the Browns going only
sixteen and Donald Trump becoming president of the United States.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (04:10):
Well, there's two things that you couldn't see common.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I suppose Doug, thank you, I appreciate it. Douji. Are
you ready for the shizzy? Yeah, here we go, Kida Hizzy.
On rovers Morning Glory.
Speaker 4 (04:27):

at least six others were injured when they were caught
in the crossfire of a shootout between the Mexican military
and a cartel convoy near a tourist resort of San
Jose del Cabo. This was in Baja California. The incident
began around eleven pm when Mexican Army soldiers responded to
(04:48):

A twenty year old soldier and a twenty five year
old soldier were also wounded. Authority seized high caliber firearms,
a grenade launcher attached to a rifle, and then magazines
as well as technical Who's going to Mexico?
Speaker 7 (05:17):
Stop going? Don't lot of people go think about this.
They just got a grenade launcher from somebody. This guy's
driving around with a grenade launcher, and you want to
go on vacation there where people have grenade launchers.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Elsewhere.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Six people were shot and killed in a domestic shooting
spree across multiple locations in Muscatine, Iowa, yesterday afternoon, before
the gunman shot and killed himself when he was confronted
by police. The police chief, Anthony Keys, identified the suspect
as fifty two year old Ryan Willis McFarlane of Muscatine.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Officers first responded to a.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Home about twelve twelve in the afternoon after reports of
a shooting and then found four people dead inside. Varland
had already left by the time that they had arrived.
Detectives then learned that there were additional victims and subsequently
found two more men dead, one at a second residence
and one at a nearby business.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
So his officers were searching for McFarland.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
They located him on a trail along the Mississippi River,
and then when they made contact with him, he shot
and killed himself. He said McFarland has a criminal record,
but did not elaborate, and the names in the ages
of the victims have not been released and that should
be happening soon. Elsewhere out of Georgia, a bride and
(06:36):
groom were getting married and then they were going to
take a helicopter ride to celebrate after the wedding.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
The groom was nervous because it was foggy out.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Dave Fiji's his name, twenty five years old, was a
little nervous. They were set to leave the party by
chopper around nine point thirty PM to head to Atlanta
to start their honey Okay, foggy weather delayed the flight
after Fiji. Also, a pilot expressed concern over the conditions.
He said, I wouldn't fly, not a lot of visibility.
(07:11):
The couple and the pilot they all decided to fly,
and the pilot was hesitant as well.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
What do you think happened? Crash? Yeah, oh he died.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
The guy they didn't want to go, So the pilot
died and the room died.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
What about the bride?
Speaker 4 (07:28):
She made it out, no broken bones, nothing, So imagine
just getting married and your husband just dies.
Speaker 5 (07:35):
Oh yeah, isn't that awful, like an hour after you
just got married.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Yeah, she's what are you doing flying a helicopter at
night and then fogg?
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Well, people fly helicopters at night. You'll fly helicopter.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
Well, yeah, maybe I wouldn't either, but people do it
so and in fog, though, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
That's that. That's what got Kobe Bryant. Yeah, but it
wasn't at night, but it was the fog. Yeah, it
was the fog.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
So the NT, the National Transportation Safety Board, they have
opened an investigation.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Into the accident.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
Elsewhere, we have a New York City funeral home. They're
in hot water after the family finds a stranger in
their dad's coffin. So a New York City family wants
answers about what happened to their beloved father's body. Jose
Diez philipp who's eighty four years old, died recently, and
when his family arrived at the Washington Heights Wake to
(08:36):
say their final goodbyes, they encountered a stranger in his coffin.
It was a mass. Rg or tis Ortiz funeral home
insisted for hours that the unknown person was in fact
their father.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Oh that's him, Trasha, that's him. What you know, this
isn't funny. I'm sorry, I'm laughing.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
The funeral home said the mix up was caused by
getting two bodies with similar names at the Oh my god.
The juneral home has been in hot water with the
city previously after nearly fifty complaints from one agency about
the condition of the remains of loved ones and misrepresenting
or concealing the prices of services.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
I'm anti a lawsuit, but that might be a lawsuit
that I could get behind the year. Graving at a
funeral and they put the cash get up there, everyone,
they open it up and everyone comes up to pay
their respects.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's the wrong dude in there. That's pretty apest. And
then they're like, no, no, that's really Amp. That's her dad.
Don't worry. Oh man, that's that's something else entertainment news
for you.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
I'm not really a fan of Blake Lively. She just
needs to go away, and she's not. Just weeks after
settling her case, Blake is taking justin Baldani.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
I'm saying that right back to court.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Actually, it's the judge, Judge Lewis Lyman ordered the co
stars to court to deal with damages related to Baldani's
dismissed four hundred million defamation.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Lawsuit against Lively.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Lively's attorneys filed the request for for him to pay
legal fees and costs from that from all that case,
and the finally also seeks triple damages and punitive damages.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
So we're gonna but not really like we're going to
keep seeing it.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Still and then I know you're going to be super
excited about this Rover. It's official. Taylor Swift is part
of the Toy Story franchise. She wrote an original song
for the Toy Story five soundtrack.

it in theater. No least, they're just getting worse. Everyone
is getting a little worse than the one before. The
first one was perfect, and then all downhill from there.
I don't think, so, what do you mean, it's definitely
been downhill?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Oh I cried. They say this one is going to
be the most emotional.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
The most Okay, you can't. You can't disagree the first one.
It's the best, and that's the rest. I'm not saying
terrible in themselves. Four was terrible. They had the sport
that one speaking a movie, the Carnival.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
That he knows all this. I watched them all. I
saw it. But the Carnival one is not a good one.
I don't know what to tell you. You disagree.
Speaker 9 (11:39):
They should have ended it three three. The ending of
three was just.
Speaker 5 (11:44):
Toys away and a new persons gonna take him over
and boiler It is perfect and at the end of
the story goes all right, now we're done. And then

Oh, it was super fun.
Speaker 6 (13:56):
It was the highlight of the Guardian's game for us.
Speaker 10 (13:59):
We were super fun. But I just wanted to make
a comment about buying Gianna a car. When I was
sixteen or seventeen, my parents.
Speaker 6 (14:08):
Bought me a beater.
Speaker 10 (14:09):
It was like a nineteen ninety eight Accura. It broke
down constantly. But I will say they threatened me that
if I ever got a ticket, an accident, if I
drove crazy, anything like that, then my car was taken away.
I had to payper insurance, I had the paper gas,
I had to buy my own car ticket. Yes, and
I'm twenty eight now and I've never once had a ticket.
(14:31):
I've never been in an accident that was caused by me.
So I think it did me right by getting me
a car and doing nothing.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
So you're saying, dude, he's doing it all wrong by
buying Gianna.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Two nice of a car. She was a dealership, Yes, dealership.
I had a meeting. I had some dudes.
Speaker 7 (14:50):
You didn't buy it from up on blocks and some
dude's backyard.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
How did it go? This girl was very sweet by
the way, well, girl, Kylie. He was so cute.
Speaker 7 (15:02):
How obnoxious was Dougie at that at that game? Because
I know her gleaming?
Speaker 2 (15:08):
It was so funny, I believe.
Speaker 10 (15:12):
So excited I like spotted her in the crowd and
then immediately ran over and was like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
And then I had to call him my boyfriend.
Speaker 10 (15:18):
I just started listening within the last couple of months,
but my mom has always listened, my aunt's always listened
to one's always listened.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
So I was like, oh, I'm so excited that I
got to spot you.
Speaker 5 (15:27):
Well, it's hard to miss her with that giant hollo,
so uh, I.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Don't laugh that hart Kylie my god, thank you. I
thank you Kylie. Now what? Yeah? How did your meeting go?
Speaker 11 (15:42):

Speaker 7 (15:43):
You couldn't take Jeffrey to his fence company job because
she had a meeting at the dealership.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
I did.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
I spent some time with my friend Daryl, who was
taking care of me.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Did Yeah? When yesterday? What time in the afternoon?
Speaker 5 (15:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (15:59):
No?
Speaker 12 (15:59):
No, because I was on with it for like an
hour working on my computer that's still not fixed.
Speaker 7 (16:11):
So remember that. Remember she said that she had a
phone call at ten.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Am her mom today. Ever, nobody would ever use a
tragedy like something horrific is going through your mom as
an excuse to get out of.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Taking I had to push it back. So you didn't
do that either? What?
Speaker 7 (16:31):
No, So you couldn't take Jeffrey to his French company
John because of these two appointments, and you did do
either one of those appointments.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
How are you getting there? Crazy? I asked her to
take to pick him up this morning. Is I'm going
to do it? I'm going to be doing it. You
offered it. Well, you always.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Say call us, that's something you always say, Jeffery feel
safer with you, call us call us. I said, hey,
can you possibly pick him up this morning, so she
drives right by him.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
No, you're closer to him than I do. No, it's
ten minutes out of my way. It's ten minutes out
of my way.
Speaker 13 (17:00):

dealership go? What time was that?
Speaker 6 (17:48):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (17:49):
We were we spent about half hours?
Speaker 5 (17:52):

call with my mom. Okay, nobody's gonnay's gonna ask any
questions about that. Right then I have to meet at
the dealership at Tempary. My program is coming up. So okay,
those are all possible, possibly true. And then to say,
over and over and over again, Jeffrey just calls somebody.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Why did you walk call us?
Speaker 5 (19:05):
And then I said, here's a great opportunity for you

Speaker 7 (19:17):
That's right, You get a divorce from your wife, you
can come live with me.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
You can live upstairs.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
I have a hole up your stairs, and I have
a hole upstairs that's empty.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
You can come move in. Just divorce your wife.
Speaker 7 (19:31):
Tom our old phone screener divorces his wife and then
he's like, okay, when can I come over?
Speaker 5 (19:36):
And she she goes, oh no, you can't come to
mind all those kids and all those dogs.

the dogs. Remember I remember it very well.
Speaker 5 (19:48):

his wife, like, walks out on his wife.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
This is it, I'm getting a divorce. He leaves the house.
Speaker 7 (20:00):
He calls you up, expecting that you're gonna be able
to that. You're gonna say, come on over, I'll set
up the upstairs for you to sleep, and instead you go, oh,
you can't come here, jeff Why would you think you

don't get a load of money.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
He said that. I don't think he had to.
Speaker 7 (20:34):
Stop himself from saying that in front of me after
I just gave him twenty five dollars yesterday.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
Do you have money in your account?
Speaker 3 (20:41):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Oh yeah, I have a year. Yeah, I have money.

and then from there I walked home.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Okay. Oh, so you went there? Why didn't you just
drive it yesterday? I mean, were there? I just thought
I was there, I had the case just as you were.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
You were there, weren't just good? Obviously you can't drive
it to work. I'm not suggesting that. But today I
want to go back. Today's plan is to drive it
from there to your house. You were there with the car.
Why didn't just do that?
Speaker 2 (21:47):
Pause? Was just do it yesterday? I didn't think about it.

do this job. Job that's buying you a car anyway.
Speaker 15 (22:12):
So I'm actually I'm gonna my friend keeps gonna help me.
So if the car breaks down, we have I we
still have a way of we guess, so it's not
left in the avail of bro Keith has a tow truck. Yeah,
and if if that's not available for him to use,
we're just he's gonna take his one pickup truck.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
We're just gonna like push it if we have to.
Speaker 5 (22:30):
Oh, so he's gonna get behind you so he does
not have a tow truck. No, but either way, he's
gonna help me. He's gonna ask you weird. Now that
story changes. You guys have guys a tow truck. Yeah,
it's not available. H well he doesn't actually have one,
so available if he buys one today, yes, he will
(22:50):
bring it. If Charlie, you have a private jet, right,
so let's take it.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
To available today. We can take it if it's available,
hardly because I don't own one. It's not available, but
I will up.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
Everybody's coming up with a plan B in respect. Okay,
so you're just gonna push the kind of bumper card
around you.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Guy's totally got to be legal. You're going to push
the IF's If that's the case, he's gonna get behind you,
and he's gonna push behind me in case something does happen.
Speaker 15 (23:21):
Right, if I'm able to drive it, yes, he's gonna
stay behind me, just in case something does happen.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
Okay, watch the police blodder today. And then we came
up with a great plan for his car. Oh yeah,
this old car.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
What's that? Oh?
Speaker 5 (23:33):
I know somebody called in and had a great idea
that we should demolition derby.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Jefferson thought you were going to take it apart. I've
already done that. It hasn't even done.
Speaker 7 (23:45):
It's like they want a personalized license plate contest together.
You can't do that. It's yes, so this is much better.
This is Jeffery's going to drive his car in a
demolition derby. I think top Place is like seven hundred
and fifty bucks. Movie, doesn't do it, It's still be
fun just to watch him. You down for that, Jeffrey,
He agreed yesterday on the aftermath, Well no, I just
(24:07):
say I don went home and thought about it. Well,
the gamble is is if I don't win, I don't
get any money. So I'm completely at a loss. Okay,
so what if you don't what if do you Okay,
if you don't do it, do you have a chance
to get seven hundred and fifty dollars?
Speaker 2 (24:23):
The other chance? The other idea I came up with
that came up with.
Speaker 7 (24:26):
I'm just asking, if you don't do it, could you
get seven hundred fifty dollars?
Speaker 2 (24:30):
If I lose, I don't get it.
Speaker 7 (24:31):
If you don't participate, can you get seven undred fifty dollars?
If you do participate, do you have a shot at
getting seven undred fifty dollars.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
No, because I'm you do if you win, right.
Speaker 15 (24:44):
I was coming up with more of a compromise idea,
let me get quickly, okay.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Real quick. I was gonna say, take a car.
Speaker 15 (24:52):
Back to my place, and I was gonna I came
up with the idea, let's say about auctioning a car
off to somebody that wants.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
To use it in the Devilish Derby.
Speaker 15 (25:00):
I'll get the money from the sale, they get the
money if they win the derby, and it's a win
win situation and my car goes out in the blazing
glory either way.
Speaker 5 (25:08):
But nobody wants to see your car in the demolitions
you derby?
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Whose ideal is this? Oh, my friend Keith, do you
think he will you that idea?
Speaker 10 (25:18):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Yeah, I mean I thought it would be a nice
is now driving.
Speaker 5 (25:23):
He put his toe truck in the demolition derty funny?
Speaker 6 (25:29):
Yah?
Speaker 5 (25:34):
All right, well, Jeffrey, get to your second job, your friends.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Yeah yet, okay, taking your headphones off like it was waiting.
Speaker 15 (25:43):
No, No, I was just ready to get out of
here because I walk up to the gas station by
ninth and knock current by the ballpark and I get
my uber from there.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
It's a little cheese. Get it right here, get a seaper.
It's closer to work. You should order it right outside
of fifteen minutes. It's a ten minute walk. Fifteen minutes
you have extra cash rover Gate. How much could he
possibly be?
Speaker 7 (26:04):
Like twenty cents mored it's right around the corner.
Speaker 5 (26:09):
Can't be that m cost if you did it across
the street from the fence company, if you walk there,
funny laughing up guys laugh.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Like literally it's two blocks, Like just how do you
how do you know it's cheaper or even a prospect
right out front?
Speaker 15 (26:29):
Just this is the way I've always done it. Can
they change that? I'll pick up I'll pick up my
tall boy Pepsy to go with my lunch.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Okay, so that's why I wanted to do it.
Speaker 15 (26:37):
Yes, I can pick my tall boy, my tall boy
Pepsy to go with my lunch. Okay, my lunch today,
So ran got a I got a couple of hot
dogs AND's some meatballs low sodium.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
I understand.
Speaker 15 (26:48):
Okay, Well, the only it's the only thing I've it
will be the only thing I've eaten all days so far.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
So honestly, We'll be right back on roll for Morning Glory.
Hang up.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
This show always guarantee heman. Well, except for Jeffery.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
We're still trying to figure out what the hell he is.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
I'm just a regular guy that extraordinary job.
Speaker 11 (27:08):
Welcome back to rovers Morning Glory.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
I've been seeing some stories.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
They claimed that they didn't know what these guys were
up to, but now there's a theory is to what
they were doing.
Speaker 7 (27:37):
There was a video of seven guys coming up from
a sewer manhole in New York City. Now, the sewers
in New York City, they are combined rainwater runoff like
just from the streets and what you would think of
when you think of a sewer, just poop water right
out of a toilet just in there.
Speaker 5 (27:59):
Their mixing, yeah there, and that's what's down there. So
what are these seven guys doing. Here's video of this.
Let me see here. Here's here they are. You can
see a.
Speaker 7 (28:10):
Guy comes over, one dude comes up from the from
It looks like they've sped this up a little bit.
One guy comes up from the from the hole, then
another guy, then another guy, and another and another. They're
all coming out like rats. And then they this in
the middle of the night, that's like two o'clock in
the morning. They come up from the sewer. They then
(28:31):
get out of their clothes, which you can see they're
just on the sidewalk. They're taking out off the all
their poop covered clothes, and God only knows what else
is down there.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
They then put stuff into their car.
Speaker 7 (28:45):
I guess they change and then they put stuff into
their car, and then they eventually drive away. But there
was this video, and then there was another video of
a different group of guys coming up from the sewer
as well, and everyone's like, what are these guys doing?
Speaker 2 (29:01):
What are they up to? Now?
Speaker 7 (29:04):
I have a I don't know, but my immediate thought
was this could be something bad. These guys could be
planning some sort of terrorist attack or something. That's what
that's my initial No, that's my initial reaction.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
I think you just go exploring with the guys. Sometimes, Oh,
come on, dude, in poop water. Sometimes that's why they
have different clothes.
Speaker 5 (29:24):
It just go splunking or whatever's in poop water. Well,
there's not a lot of places to explore in New
York City the sewer system. Have you ever seen the
layer they had in teenage mant Ninja Turtles too.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
M I missed that one. Well, it's great. It was huge.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
If you got a if you had a pad down
there like that, it'd be worth crawling through the poop
water to get to that empty train station poop water.
Speaker 7 (29:47):
Did you see this documentary that was on I if
I was on Netflix or something. There was like a
big ball and I forget where it was, Rhode Island.
I think they built this giant mall and inside the
mall there was a a spot where it was just
an empty, oh, empty room like between somehow between whatever
the way the walls were made, they're a big empty
(30:10):
space was made and nobody knew it existed.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Except for this one guy.
Speaker 7 (30:15):
And they figured it out and then they just they
built an apartment in there and they lived in there.
Speaker 5 (30:19):
For years lived. I didn't watch it. I thought it
was more of like an art studio thing where they
were hanging out, but there were well they were hanging
out and people actually living there. He did on and off.
They'd lived there, they'd hang out there, the trailer in TV,
electricity everything.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Yeah, because you right, yeah, yeah, that's a cool. And
it went on for years.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
I used to go exploring through tubes, uh, pipes with
with my friends, but not in poop water tubes, Charlie.
It was a big sewer thing. We didn't know what
it was. I think growing up now a storm I
know that it's storm water, but the time we thought
it was just still kind of nasty because it's like, yeah,
all this stuff from the street is washing into there
and stuff. But when we were doing it, we were like,
(31:00):
I don't know, I'm trying that. We're probably sixteen seventeen.
We thought it was could be poop, but just didn
it didn't smell.
Speaker 7 (31:07):
But these these are these are adults, Charlie, that are
doing this. I mean you can see hereby I mean,
they look they don't look like kids, they don't look
like teenagers. They look like adults. And they all get
into their cars drive away and then in another article,
So this has been coming out over the past week,
these various videos of these dudes coming up from the sewer,
(31:28):
and now they're saying that it's not I'm wrong about this,
that it has nothing to do with terrorism. They're saying
that they're just searching for valuables down there, that they're searching.
Speaker 5 (31:40):
For gold, you know, rings, jewelry that people accidentally put
down the sink or whatever, flush down the toilet. Yeah,
they're looking for valuables. Gonb be dropping the street. Yeah,
it gets washed in there, yep. And I mean that's
no because it's mixed. It's poop water. Again, this is
(32:02):
this is not just storm run off. This is this
is poop water.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
And maybe that's what they're doing.
Speaker 7 (32:13):
But do you take that chance I'd find these I'd
find these guys. You must be able to track them
through surveillance video.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
It's illegal, right, it is.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
Yeah, it is illegal to go down there, But what
a way to make a living?
Speaker 9 (32:27):
Did they have any tools or any anything when they
come up or flashlights anything on them that would I.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Think that they had. Let me see here signify a
farious activities. Look here, I believe that they had. Yeah,
this guy has on.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
This guy has no he hasn't he has a thing
on his head, like the light on his head like
he saw a headlamp.
Speaker 14 (32:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah, but he's also wearing waiters, isn't he? They're doing
this for coins and random jewelry. You wouldn't because you
have to split it on with what ten how many guys.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Are there seven guys come up from this pole, the
chances are don't even find something low. Then when you do,
you have to split it seven ways. So what do
you think they're doing? They're not just exploring and poop water.
And this is why I say you got to find
these guys and gay sex could be Why would you
do gay sex in the suit where as opposed to a.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Motel room, they have wives and stuff.
Speaker 9 (33:23):
Maybe they like that kind of scat play.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Yeah, it's not scared of it.
Speaker 9 (33:29):
But they all do look like they're wearing waiters or
something like that. They're wearing overalls and then they have
ski masks on as well.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
I don't see that's sche mass.
Speaker 9 (33:39):
Some of them had black like it looked like they
were wearing something completely covering their faces.
Speaker 7 (33:43):
Maybe ask Yeah, they might smell for the fumes or something,
but I look a mud run.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
These guys can't do it in New York City. It's
very urban, so they don't get to do this kind
of poop water childie. It's not steal training like they're
kind of doing. Don't going on doing push up?
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Iron man?
Speaker 5 (34:01):
Yeah and iron oh Man. Big Frank says the sewer
would be perfect escape route.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
For a bank robbery.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
Whatever they're up to, it's got to be I I
agree with Charlie. They can't just be down there looking
for a ring with seven guys or.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Do you think's really down there?
Speaker 3 (34:21):
True?
Speaker 5 (34:21):
A lot, but you have to find it amongst endless
amounts of sewage. It's just there's no way that's gonna
pay off. Do they have a metal detector?
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Somebody wants to know. I don't know.
Speaker 7 (34:32):
It's it's hard to make out this. Yeah, the video
is it's not the best video.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
It's a video that someone took out their phone of
a screen, so it's not crystal clear.
Speaker 7 (34:42):
I don't see a metal detector here, But does anybody
would they get this? I guess shifted or something.
Speaker 9 (34:48):
Well, the first guy puts something down onto the sidewalk,
so I'm guessing at least one of them has equipment,
but it looks like it's very minimal.
Speaker 5 (34:57):
Whatever they're carrying. This guy's got like a little almost
like a purse. He puts that down. You think that's
his his loot, his booty from the sewer. Could you
do magnet fishing down there? Well, those guys just have
that big magnet. Throw it out that would work more
than just searching around. Yeah, through poop, through poop, but
(35:19):
I think you'd find a lot of just of course
that's gonna be not valuable metal down there. Yes, that's
why I also don't believe it's rings and jewels either,
because you're gonna put your hand in a thing of
turds and come up and be like, oh, I found
a piece of metal. Oh it's a popcan top, throw
that away. You're gonna be doing that the whole time.
The chance you're gonna find anything that's valuable it's low.
Speaker 7 (35:40):
Now Trace says there's a different news story because here's
here's the latest headline NYC manhole mold. People have plundered
sewer for lost treasures for decades, but now this person
says that a news story last night said that they're
exploring basements of old buildings and they're not doing any
thing against the law, so law.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Enforcement are not bothering them.
Speaker 7 (36:03):
I would assume it would be against the law if
I have a building and it has a basement and
you're down there exploring it. I didn't invite you to
explore my building. That would be against the law.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
You can't.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
Just that's why That's why I think it's just some
exploring going on in the shower.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
It's amazed down there.
Speaker 4 (36:23):
You ever see the don't they do like a news
story of the drug or the homeless people that live
underneath the mold people, mold people. Maybe it's like poop
mole people that live down there.
Speaker 9 (36:37):
I was thinking that was more in like La or
California and those big more rain runoff pipes where it's
not as.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Watch of Las Vegas mold people. Yeah, it Vegas Veus
mold people. I'm not aware of the laws. It's something
they're they're in a like some sort of rain runoff thing.
They're in a tunnel and some kind. But it seems
dry just because it's Las Vegas.
Speaker 5 (36:58):
I don't know when it actually because if it rains,
you just get flash floods. Those storm drains that they.
Speaker 7 (37:06):
Have basically big retention basins that they build all over
the place concrete, because they just fill up the ground
is so dry that when it.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
Does rain, it doesn't seem you can't soak into the
ground really, and so it just starts flowing. And I've
seen incredible flooding in Las Vegas. I remember the Imperial Palace.
I don't even know if that place still exists. But
they had a parking garage and the water would just
come down the parking garage the ramp like it looked
(37:39):
like a waterfall. And I've seen I've seen like out
by where I lived. There was a big retention basin
that they that they built, and there was always a
problem with flash flooding in Las Vegas. People would always
get swept away in their cars die.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Various things would happen to people.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
But yeah, there's a documentary Dark Days that is all
the tunnels underneath Manhattan, homeless people living there.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
It's crazy. These are giant tunnels, huge, it's gross. Here's
this mold. This guy's doing a whole thing on mold
people here is he's.
Speaker 14 (38:13):
A city officials beginning series flood tunnels would help alleviate
you know, where this is homeless people venture?
Speaker 2 (38:20):
I do not know.
Speaker 14 (38:21):
From the blistering Vegas weather today, that number sets it
around two thousands.
Speaker 5 (38:25):
See it's pretty dry, I mean it's very dry looking,
but they just to hang out down there. That looks
like in the background moll activities.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Do you say two thousand people are living there? Is
that what he's hadden.
Speaker 9 (38:40):
You started saying two thousand, two thousand people, what can
you go back?
Speaker 2 (38:45):
I want to hear what you It seems like a
lot of people.
Speaker 14 (38:49):
An opportunity with danger. Today we venture beneath Las Vegas
to talk to those that have been dubbed the mole
People to find out firsthand what life is like underground.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
A jack at this dude's wearing. It's just look untuned guitars.
Oh there's no eyeball. Well, this is one of the
mold people playing. This is the mole This is the
Mole Person concert. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (39:20):
Yeah, so they're probably just doing kind of mold people's things.
In New York, Connor Ron Rovery's Morning Glory, Good morning Connor,
Hey over yo yo, what's happening?
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Hey, So, Jeffery's car is a total loss and he's
having it towed back to his apartment.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
That's well, he's gonna he's gonna try and push it there.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
But some some guys his tow truck was unavailable today
because he doesn't actually have a tow truck, so they're
gonna push it.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
I'm neutral and pushed it all the way with another
car totally.
Speaker 5 (39:53):
I can relate to Jeffrey. Today, I am having a
truck being picked up from a scrap yard, and they're
paying me to come pick it up five hundred dollars soon.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
Why would so?
Speaker 7 (40:09):
Why would Jeffrey just have somebody come and pick it
up right from that that repair excuse me, right from
that repair shop where his car is broken down, never
to work again.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Just have him pick it up. Then he saves me
the hassle.
Speaker 7 (40:21):
He said, come come get it tomorrow from their repair shop.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
But look, there's a new guy in the towner seat
of his life. Keith.
Speaker 5 (40:28):
Yeah, whoever Keith is, and he does take advice. Now
I'm not saying Keith is giving him. I don't know
what kind of advice. I just know that whatever Keith
says now is that's gospel.
Speaker 7 (40:38):
That's what why Jeffrey wouldn't call us before he does
anything anything in life. I just don't understand. Like he
went out and he bought a new refrigerator. He lives
in an apartment where the refrigerator is already in the apartment.
Why would he go out and spend five hundred dollars.
He did call me about that, yeah, after hebut it. Yeah, yeah,
you have to do that before, like, my, hey, my
fridge is out. What should I do? I just I
(41:00):
don't know, but you know what he doesn't. I guess
he doesn't want our help, so be it. And look
he's getting by, seems to be going all right.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
So five hundred bucks are paying counter to pick up
his Jeffrey maybe could scrap that car pocket three four
hundred bucks or whatever.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Yeah, my boyfriend did that.
Speaker 9 (41:20):
When I first met him, he had he has like
three cars, and I was like, why do you have
this truck? It doesn't run, Just get rid of it
and why is it still just sitting in the driveway.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
And somebody came and he scrapped it. They came, they.
Speaker 9 (41:30):
Picked it up, paid him, and he didn't have to
do anything.
Speaker 5 (41:34):
Why did it require you to prompt them, like you
have a broken down truck outside, you should get rid
of that.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
No.
Speaker 9 (41:40):
I think he had the hopes that he used to
fix up cars and work on cars and stuff in
high school.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
That was his thing was they would soup up their cars.
Speaker 9 (41:47):
So I think he had just planned on one day,
I'll fix it and just have multiple vehicles.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
I was like, no, just get rid of it.
Speaker 5 (41:57):
Does anyone watch love Island. I don't really sure what
it's about. I used to I think it just hot
people on an island screwing. Yeah, okay, I see.
Speaker 9 (42:07):
Yeah, you have to find a you have to have
a meet to stay on the island, so you have
to be paired up, and if you're not paired up,
then you have to leave.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
You're kicked out of the island.
Speaker 5 (42:18):
So there's they reduce it by one every week or
something or whatever.
Speaker 9 (42:23):
Yeah, sometimes in the beginning of most reality shows they
kick off multiple people and.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Then yeah, it'll just be a couple here in there.
Speaker 7 (42:29):
I don't know much about this other than what I'm
reading here, but Love Island there is.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
I guess maybe it's not even on TV anymore. Maybe
it's on Peacock. Who says it's on Peacock.
Speaker 7 (42:39):
Love Island season eight had a contestant named Vesana Montgomery.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
She's been removed from.
Speaker 5 (42:47):
The show and they had to in the middle of
it be like she's no longer on the island or in.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
The hut or whatever they say.
Speaker 5 (42:55):
And that's because video surface of this twenty six year
old woman from Beaverton, Oregon.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Singing a song that contained the N word.
Speaker 7 (43:11):
That's right, video of her surface, not calling somebody the
N word, but video surfaced of her singing a song
with the N word as a lyric in the song,
and they've kicked her off the show. A source close
to the production says that the videos were privately owned
(43:34):
and that they were only made aware of these after
she had been announced as part of the season eight cast.
Now my question to you to anybody, is this, if
that is so offensive as a song lyric that you
have to kick this twenty six year old girl or
however old she is, off the show because she's.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
Singing along to the song lyric.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
What are we going to do to the artist who
actually performed that song that is so highly offensive They
should probably be run out of the country, and the
record label that put it on they should probably be
forced to shut down. I mean, this is really If
that's if this is true, I have a video.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
I have the video.
Speaker 5 (44:24):
Let me see here, all right, hold on, uh give.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Me a second half? Love Island. Here it is. I
haven't seen this. Maybe it's worse than it seems. But
if that's if.
Speaker 7 (44:40):
According to this, according to what I've just read, if
she's singing along to a I don't know whoever, whatever.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
Song it is, what song is it?
Speaker 5 (44:50):
I don't know, but it sounds like it might be
to me a Takashi six to nine song, which is
also interesting because he's not black, and so he sings
the N word in his songs and he's not black,
but he's still allowed to, you know, I mean.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
This is just this is insanity.
Speaker 7 (45:12):
That you would again, it would be totally different if
this woman, if a video surfaced, then she's you know,
if she gets into some argument and she's like, you
dumb N word, you know, to some black chick that
she's in a fight with or whatever, maybe maybe you
kick her off the show. But if you're singing along,
let me see what it is. Here, here it is,
let's let's listen.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
And then so she didn't she also just said it too. Yeah,
this is bad?
Speaker 7 (45:42):
Was it that also from the No, no, it's not
from the song. Okay, so this is singing. I honestly
can't even.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Understand whatever I would. I have no idea. What's actually
being said, much clearer than the unedited version. Okay, all right,
and then here she is. It looks different.
Speaker 5 (46:06):
She's in an arcade, all right, like in a driving
game that huh, all right, and what'd she say? Knock
knock nword knock knock, okay.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
And then laughing, They're all, that's not funny.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
Yeah, I mean all right, but the singing, it's not
just the singing, it's both of it.
Speaker 7 (46:27):
Yeah, but they're also one second long. It's hard to
know what the context is here or whatever.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
Does it matter what the context is?
Speaker 7 (46:34):
I just yeah, if somebody, if somebody's making a song
and they're using the N word, I think people should
be allowed to sing along to it.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
No, yeah, yeah, I do. I mean, if it's that offensive,
why is it on?
Speaker 4 (46:46):
The artist's choice doesn't mean you have to follow along
with it.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
So it's okay for no one's saying it's a great
thing to have artists go for it use the N
word every other lyric.
Speaker 5 (47:00):
This's just ridiculous. So anyway, she's been kicked off of
Love Island. You know it's going to be her big
break or whatever. I guess, and she's she's not on
there anymore. They'll have to have to have to go
it without. Vesana Montgomery eight sixty six yo.
Speaker 7 (47:24):
Rover is our number eight sixty six nine sixty seven
six eighty three seven.
Speaker 5 (47:29):
I see people on the phone here. I'll get to
that in just a minute. We'll get to the shizzy
when we come back right after this.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
Hang on
