Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, I slept in my cam was by I wore
the shirt though, slipping the shirt though, slept in the shirt.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Okay, all right, Kimo, what on camo pajama pants?

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, yeah, I think he's worn of those in the.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Works on the We're kind of few occasions.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah yeah, Danny writes, you're over. I love the show.
Congratulations on the completion of your ultra marathon. Two quick things,
number one, Happy birthday to Crystal and Dougie. I found
that birthdays tend to clump around certain days. My uncle, cousin,

(02:20):
two grandsons, and myself have birthdays June twenty fourth through
the twenty interest. That's passed already, so the most popular
month for birthdays is September, nine months after Christmas, and
nine months after September is June. Just wondering your.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Thoughts on Oh, I guess I never thought about that.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I well, huh, yeah, I guess I never. I have
never really thought about that. Let's see, here's somebody who
writes Rover Charlie Shure is missing out that Argentina game,
absolute madness. The Columbia game crazy. Also when Germany got eliminated, unbelievable.

(03:05):
Poor Charlie missing out on the World Cup. Yes, the games,
the two games yesterday. The second game Columbia that was
not much of a shootout that went into extra time
they still didn't score. That then went to penalty shootouts. That's,
of course very exciting. The Argentina game that was that

(03:27):
was that was that was pretty good. It's not just
me and nobody's watching this. In the show, thirty million
people watched the US men's national team, the highest the
highest number for a soccer game ever in the United States. Yeah,
I'm just stating on the show. On the show, nobody
else is watching these nobody, not one person. Ye. Also no, Yeah,

(03:48):
so we're up to we'll check it on next year
four years from now.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Oh, it's like the Olympics.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
That's right, Steve Right, can't wait. I can't believe Charlie's
being poor, lose or about your marathon. I didn't win
orse credit.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
I didn't win or lose. I never bet or did anything.
And I'm not the one that made the claim I
did nothing.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Charlie can't seem to separate the fact that, yes, an
organized marathon with hundreds of racers would have a start
and finish someone walking the equivalent of that distance just
on their own as a challenge, it's not going to
work like that. Mileage is mileage. You can walk one
mile in a circle twenty six times and guess what,
it's twenty six miles.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, that is true. That is true, like a big
It doesn't have to be crack.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
I would say, like you doing like a city block,
you could run that like however small that is, even
if it's a quarter mile, you could do that.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I don't know the math on that one hundred and
four times. I guess that would be a marathon for sure.
Why not an eighth of a mile then it could be.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
But I'd say, when you get down to the point
where you're just like stepping over sidewalk, going from one
sidewalk to another sidewalk, I go moving.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
It's kind of it's moving. I guess say, if you're
proud of yourself, be proud of yourself. I'm happy. I'm
happy that you're out of yourself. He's talking about going
from one side, walking from like just one pad sidewalk
pad to the other sidewalk pad just kind of jittering
your feet. You want to contact go for it to
the thirty nine thousand GPS points and I don't think
you can really see any of that. Hey, I'm not
taking away. And if you do, what is eddiequal? What

(05:17):
you're doing this to impress your feet? I don't. Still
it's still uh still distance. You did it. Good for you, dude,
Mike right yourself. I own a Vinyl decal company. I
want to send you a couple Ultra Marathon twenty eight
point sixty four stickers, just to annoy Charlie.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Where can I send them?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Oh? You put those in your car?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
All over? Yeah? Put some on your card, full wrap.
In fact, I'll put I'll give one to everybody a tattoo.
That's a good idea, be proud of it.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
In fact, my boss did twenty eight point six four.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yep. The fact that maybe everyone will start doing twenty
eight point sixty four from now. We'll call that the
Rover instead of a marathon. Oh I just I just
I just did a Rover.

Speaker 7 (05:58):
You just see a new maybe I saw a commercial
for a product the Rover. I know they have Rover
pet sitting. But have you seen rover coolers?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Rover coolers? I have not seen them.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Oh v r, I have not. I just saw commercial
and like.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Look at that and it's a cooler. Yeah, and what
does it do?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Cools?

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Things looks like an igloo ripoff? Oh no, huh yeah,
but it looks like I.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
Might have big wheels. Oh the dull wheeled. It's not
your grandma's cooler here it does? This is different? What
does it look like? It's ye What am I going
to do with that? What did I say? Oh no,
it's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't have you
ever seen those?

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I have not. Drive it yourself.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
There's a lot of that's much one. They look very expensive.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
What are we going to Yeah, ezer, who's going to
attach this to their bike and ride around like that?
That's insane.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
I think that's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
All right, let's look at this one. This is a
good size.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
Are very jeff for since Yetti exists. Coolers weren't expensive
before until Yedi existed. Two hundred and ninety nine dollars
down there.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
We'll pay that for a cooler that's on the cheaper end.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, Also, a YETI eight hundred dollars. Crazy, Keith rights
when discussing your journey through the streets of London. I
wish you would call it your twenty six point two
mile walk about it is more appropriate than calling it
a marathon. Well, it's the same distance, so it's the
same Keith. Actually it's an ultra marathon since I went

(07:33):
twenty eight point sixty four. Update your facts. Joe riotes
Charlie running his mouth about Rover doing his marathon. But
what about Charlie driving with a license plate? We know
he has the plate on his truck, but he drives
his girlfriend's car all the time. There should be a
license plate check every day to make sure he's driving
the truck with the plate, or he should give that

(07:54):
money back forty three and fourteen dollars.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I've seen the truck that go out go out in
the parking garage right now.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
It out there right now.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
I mean I don't see it today, but I have
seen it. When I leave, I'll see the truck, Epstein, if.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
You can find it amongst all the cars that aren't ours.
Where do you have to park on the top floor. Basically,
there's no rules anymore.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
It is willy nilly I've gotten I know.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
It's it's really it's I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
I'm crammed in. Who's ever park next to me? You
made a big mistake parking today. You will not be
able to get into your vehicle. You'll just you can't.
I don't know who's whose It is not happening. Aren't
you worried they're going to open their door right into yours?
And just being you're ye not happy about it? But
what else are we going to do? I want to
say that I got very lucky. I was able to

(08:44):
find a space on the floor that we normally park
on already, luck because those are all reserved for us.
Those are every single spot on the floor. Yeah, well,
the signs just disappear. The people are taking the signs off.
Is that it just they just fall off people?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah? But also people don't care.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
They don't care. That's what I've seen. Yeah, don't they start?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Why don't they start towing cars? Somebody has to tell
them that we can work like we care. They don't.
They do not. Have you seen what's going going on
around here? They do not have bigger.

Speaker 8 (09:19):
Fish to fry, And it is possible for cars to
be towed out of here because one day I was
leaving and saw a tow truck in front of me
leaving the garage with a car with a car, So
it is possible.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Yeah, start toelling people we know who the offenders are there.
There's one particular guy. He's always parking in our spots.
Brian writes, well, were you guys talking about Coleman's mustard?
Brought back memories. My mom used to use it for
a mustard paste or what is that? Put the mustard

(09:57):
as a paste on a rag and put it on
your chest to ease chest congestion.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Plaster aything.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
But it would give you second degree burns if you
left it houn longer than fifteen minutes. Wait, a second
mustard will give you burns. Thank you for unlocking a memory,
he says. Leo says, I'm sorry if I'm wrong, But
I didn't hear Charlie pipe in when Rover talked about

(10:26):
the guy running for Senate in Maine. But he talks
about Mitch McConnell possibly being dead or missing. I know
Charlie has a reputation of being a lefty, but come on, man,
the least you can say is, yeah, that's fed up.
Or I can't believe that guy hasn't dropped out. Again,
I'm sorry if I'm speaking out of turn, but you
are just seemed like mentioning Mitch McConnell right after what

(10:49):
Rover was talking about was a little bit of yeah,
but what if no? No, both. Well, I don't know
if Mitch McConnell's bad. I don't know. I can't blame
him for being brained dead.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
But then there's reports not some guy came out and
said he talked to him for twenty minutes yesterday, so
I'm not even sure if that's true.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
But yeah, I don't. I'm not pro the Nazi guy.
I've said that before. So you think he should grand
plattn or should drop out of the rest. He should
have dropped up months ago.

Speaker 7 (11:15):
Yeah, he still hasn't. He's gotten until five pm Monday
to drop out.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
He still has. It's only Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
Yeah, reading for.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
I mean, Jesus Christ. How this guy got this far
is mind boggling to me. But I don't know what
they're doing out there in May. Mom of three rights,
I'm a week behind, so forgive me. Listening to Rover
and Dougie argue about her daughter's dance, and I realize
the issue. I have three kids, all who have played

(11:44):
multiple sports each. What Dougie is saying is correct. I
know it sounds dumb because it is. That is the problem.
Dougi keeps trying to defend it instead of just admitting
it as stupid and a money grab. I don't know
exactly what you.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
Refer to that we got into last week about kids
doing sports and how wasteful it is. I disagree with that.
I will do whatever I can to make sure that I.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Oh, I think you're going to look back and you're
going to go I got taken, I got taken up
top on all this stance stuff. Absolutely, you're going to
realize you could go, Wow, that was a lot of money.
I didn't have to spend all that money on all
this crap the boy they were getting me every which way.
I'd have so much in savings right now. I'd have
so much for a future. I have so much for

(12:31):
Gia's education if I didn't blow it on all these
entry fees.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Johnny doesn't mean anything if you can't provide and be
happy for your kids and if they if you can't
create memories and have them turn into great people because
you're hoarding your money in a bank for.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
What for what?

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Well, people need to save money. That's part of the problem.
Nobody saves any money. Do you have any money?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I have money saved.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Oh yeah, Oh. I never want to hear you complain
about money ever.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Again, I don't miss.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Mitchell complaining about money.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
I work very hard, Yeah, she complains all the time.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
I am trying to do the best that I can.
And if I have to get another job to pay
for another entry fee, I will do it.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
That's what you don't understand.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Uh, you're over. We all know Dougie's kid isn't doing
squat for a job.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
This person's a big fan of mine.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
How much is she paid on her car? The answer
is a big fat zero.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
It's Doe the nineteen.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
She's out there running around at her new free car
while mommy pays for gas and insurance. By the way,
way to broadcast that your kid has an under the
table job, another helpless human being being has been born.
Wait till mom is not around anymore and she needs
fifty meds to get out of bed.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
This person hates my kid.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
By the way, I mean, what is she going to
report her taxes on her babysitting money. She's going to
report that in come I make command. But she did
get nobody does that.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
She did get She did get a callback from she
has an interview coming up.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
She started screaming because she had applied for a job
and we had just talked. I said, you got to
keep going, like say, hey, I sent this is what
we tell Jeffrey to tell his son, Hey, I just
I checking in. I haven't heard from you, blah blah blah.
I'd like to work there. She's like, it's okay, So
she didn't do that, Like okay, but nothing's going to

(14:31):
happen unless you are proactive. And she got an email yesterday.
She starts screaming. They want to set up a zoom
interview with her. So she's totally excited about that.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
She was going to get a job before Tomage gets
a job.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Is what you're telling Yes, what do you think about that?
More power to her.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Well, if she doesn't get this job, just ever keeps
submitting the resumes to the same place like.

Speaker 7 (14:57):
Ten times, maybe she could become I'm a piano player
at the place.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
He and Jeffrey goes to kidding anything.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
I don't know, just my.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
Son just likes to play music, you know, if it
can help him make the money. Hey, I mean be nice.
Like I said, wouldn't be interesting. I'd be exciting. If
he got to be one of Taylor Swiss musicians, I'd
be great. Oh yeah, my son, No, my son. Actually,
like when Taylor Swood was doing mostly purely country music,
that's when my son liked her. But when she started
transitioning to the pop error she uh, he lost interest.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Probably not good to try and get him a job
with her.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Then to say that he's well, I'm just saying, but still, hey,
who knows anything possible?

Speaker 2 (15:42):
And god forsaken mudball called earth so he could be
Taylor Swiss penist. No, nice, try, dude, So he just
told me, I said, keyboard player. That's right her, Taylor
Swiss penist.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
No you're trying.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
You're making reference to the male body part.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Penis.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
No, yes, No, nice, try dude, nice try.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Have you seen Taylor Swiss penis?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
All right? Michael writes, crystal exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point.
This girl is so annoying. Besides the fact that she
can't say teas she complains, she has no money, but

(16:31):
has the job of a child. What do you mean
she can't say teas well? Like, give me an example
of her not being able to.

Speaker 7 (16:38):
I thought she could say teas, but yeah, I do.
This person doesn't know what they're talking about. Oh, I
see yoursel bud something.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
I think that's what.

Speaker 8 (16:53):
That's the complaint that I blend them and don't pronounce
them enough.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Button button, let's see.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Then she gets with this boyfriend of hers who seems
like a total loser. He doesn't want to move in
with her, he doesn't help her with anything. Very sad
and no birthday present. Really, I couldn't wait to give
my girl her present. Shows how much you care. This
dude cares about himself more than he cares about her.
He's a total loser. He's either completely broke or is

(17:25):
money hungry, and it's more important than her. And that's
all I've got to say about that, Jeffrey. Is he
a total loser or does he love money more than you?

Speaker 3 (17:39):
No, he's one of those two. He is not a loser.

Speaker 8 (17:41):
We're both financially pretty much the same spot. Our mortgage
is the same, our bills are pretty much the same.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
I'm not expecting him.

Speaker 8 (17:51):
I wouldn't ever expect him to go above and beyond
because I know where I'm at. So him bringing me
deserts and knowing that I love sweets, that I would
enjoy that on my birthday, that honestly, and just spending
time together that means the world to me.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Look, Crystal's not complaining, she seems to she seems happy.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Can I just ask you, what's the deal with people
just being dicks?

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Like, welcome to the world.

Speaker 7 (18:21):
I know, But why why you gotta Why is it
so bad?

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Like your boyfriend loves to hate kids? A loser?

Speaker 8 (18:31):
Yeah, why, well it makes them feel better about themselves.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
That's just so lame and sad. Like, what are you
doing that to write?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
You hate on people more than anybody in this room?
Are you kidding me? One of the girls here at
work yesterday, are you coming to the bathroom because they
just want to go to the bathroom so they can
just bitch and moan about people all day.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
No, we don't see we don't see each other. I'm like,
oh I can't.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, And then when you do, all you do is
talk trash talk other people.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
It is not true. It is about you, Like try.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Charlie smiling right now he knows. He just doesn't want
to say because I don't. She Amy asked you to
go to the bathroom with her.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
No, I told her I had to go to the bathroom.
So she's like, go with you because she's.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Okay, And then he doesn't actually go to the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Had a couple of minutes.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
They're not talking to praises of anybody, like did you
see this? This is great? No, it's it's never happened.
All about everybody here, how stupid everyone is, how they
hate everyone.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
We talk about you, how stupid you are.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
But justin wrightes, I just took a photo of my
wife's laroque. Whost say cream? Whatever that is? Let me
see the picture. Let's see, ah.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Is that Jeffrey's side hustle?

Speaker 2 (19:56):
What is it? That's how the first wife's cream from Jeffreys? Oh?

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yep, Oh I get it now? Did you get that?

Speaker 4 (20:12):
I sort of get the joke, but I don't find
it really that amusing.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
It's really funny.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Is that post cream to where you put that on?

Speaker 3 (20:20):
Was it dry internally?

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Externally? I have no idea because I don't use such
a product.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Thank you very much, need some lubrication.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
You might need it depending on what you got going
on downstairs, and that the guy, if the guy you
get with his thing might need terrain following.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Radar needs what terrain following radarsening to fifteen years?

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Is that from a movie?

Speaker 2 (20:45):
I think so? No, No, from a stand up act,
I believe, gotcha. Well, no, it's not from a stand
up act.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Train following the radar happens to be a feature on
the one eleven that allows the aircraft to slipload the
enemy's radar and follow the counter of the terrain.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Then heavy bush. Yeah, but you didn't.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Yeah, of course, Charlie, very dense, heavy bush.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yes, that's what you said. You didn't come up with that.
Somebody else did on a stand up comedian came up
with that. You didn't come up with the radar.

Speaker 7 (21:15):
It's too funny for him to have done that by himself, Tug.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
You underestly made me so much too honest?

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (21:22):
I never tell me?

Speaker 4 (21:23):
I mean, like, well, you've talked, we've we've over the years.
I've been on the show almost sixteen years. We've talked
about your nether region.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
We've talked to you talked about it about you being funny?

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Why do people in each other?

Speaker 7 (21:38):
He's talking about my bush?

Speaker 3 (21:41):
You anytime you talk about it. I just that just
popped in my head. Talk about the certain just popped
in my head, and I said, talk about the cream,
talk about bush. He's the one that asked you about
your wife's No.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
That's a funny Seawan Wrights. There should be twenty five
players that have pitched a perfect game. Tiger's pitcher Armando
Guyrega pitched a perfect game, but a blown call on
the last out of the game ruined it for him.

(22:18):
Jim Joyce called a runner safe when he was one
and a half steps away from first base when the
ball entered the first baseman's glove. The worst call in
MLB history. I believe we've played that on the show
at some point, that terrible call. I think we've all right,
So maybe twenty four with an asterisk. Now you can

(22:39):
put that guy's name in there. He should have gotten it,
but he didn't. I guess that was before like that.
I guess he couldn't challenge anything. Whenever this happened or whatever.
I've got to take a break. Our number is eight
six to six Yo Rover eight, six, six, nine to six,
seven six, three to seven will be right back. Hang out. Well,

(23:03):
except for Jeffrey, We're still trying to figure out what
the hell he is.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
I'm just a regular guy that extraordinary job.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
Welcome back to rovers morning glory, Charlie.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
So you didn't fire up the VC box to watch
the World Cup yesterday? No, the once the US is out?
I mean, what do I care?

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Yeah, he's not watching the US. Do you think he's
gonna watch?

Speaker 2 (23:47):
I did watch the half, I don't know, fifteen minutes
for the US. Well, is that right? I mean, I
think Belgium scored in the first five ten minutes, and
then then the US tied it, and I think Belgium
scored again immediately after the right after them. I was like, oh,

(24:09):
there's one team that's clearly got are very good. Yeah,
and then what did they in? Four to one was
the final score on that. But yeah, you missed some
good games yesterday Argentina and Egypt played. Now I'm a
little torn on who I was rooting for. I like Messy.

(24:29):
He plays for Argentina. He's Argentinian. He also plays for
Inter Miami here in the United States, but for his
country he plays for Argentina and he was taken on Egypt,
so normally I would root for them. They won the
World Cup four years ago and that was a good
final game four years ago. But my first contractor at

(24:52):
bankruptcy Box is Argentinian, and so I just I and
he went to the World Cup and he's like a
huge soccer fan. So I just thought about that this
stuff was getting worked one four years ago, that's right, yeah,
and he said I can't I can't work right now
because I got to go to the left to the
World Cup. Yeah. He spent a month in cutter. It's

(25:13):
how long it's time for this thing that's done? Yeah yeah,
And so I just every time Argentina wins, I go
that guy's going to be so yeah. Yeah. So I'm
almost like maybe maybe should I. If they get to
the finals and then lose in spectacular fashion, that would
be great because I just don't want them to win
because that guy would be so happy if they won.

(25:35):
But I do like Messy and he was Egypt was
beating Argentina.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
They were a long shot to win.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Yep. So yeah, yesterday I watched this game. Egypt is up.
I don't know, probably it's a two nothing and they're
up into like that. I think it's the seventy ninth
minute of the match. Yeah, it's not a lot of
time left up to nothing, it's probably probably pretty unlikely
that Argentina will come back and win it. In the
span of twelve minutes, they score three goals and they

(26:07):
beat Egypt three to two.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
I had money saying DraftKings because I bet money on
Egypt to win again the long shot, and it was
exactly at that point and it said cash out now,
and I'm like, way, I'm not going to cash out
because Egypt's going to win.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Yeah, we cashed out.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
It was a well, yeah, how how much were they
offering for you to cash out?

Speaker 3 (26:30):
It was like twenty five bucks?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
And how much did you bet?

Speaker 3 (26:33):
I don't remember trying eight nine, I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
And then let's see Columbia and Switzerland played in the
second game yesterday and that was zero zero until they
went into extra time still zero zero. So they did
thirty minutes of extra time, nobody scores. Finally, they then
go into the penalty shootout and Switzerland ends up winning

(27:00):
that match. Yeah, I said I figured Columbia would win.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
But yeah, that's what you picked yesterday.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Yeah, at Argentina and Colombia were my picks for yes day.
I was right fifty.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Anything or no.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
But I just hope they don't kill. Colombia doesn't kill whoever.
They get to penalty shootouts and two of Colombia's guys
missed their kicks, and I just hope they don't kill
those guys.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
We mean, like really killed.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Oh yeah, that happened after a World Cup. I don't
know what year it was, something like maybe in the nineties.
This guy, this guy that was playing for Columbia. I
think they were even playing the United States. As a
matter of fact, I think I could be misremembering this,
So maybe like ninety four or what. I don't know

(27:49):
what year was, but Columbia versus the United States and
this guy, this guy that played for Columbia in front
of the goal, not the goalie, but he's kind of
and he's a defender in front of the goal. And
United States takes a shot and this guy deflected it
into his own goal. So then he gets back to

(28:10):
Colombia and within a couple of days he's shot and
killed and a shot like five times, and every time
the guy that shot him, just yells goal, no, yes,
goal shoots him again. Yeah. They think that it was

(28:31):
a hit put out by drug cartels. Yeah, killed the guy.
Now the rumor is that he was the guy who
shot him. I guess worked for a drug cartel and
they were apparently had a lot of money on the
Columbia game, and he killed this guy and retaliation for

(28:52):
scoring an own goal and and and making Colombia lose.
So I hope these guys. Hope these guys survive. They
don't mess around. I'm marry Columbia. It's it's it's no joke.
I've been to Columbia. Even just watching that match yesterday,
I go, man, why did I go to Columbia? That was?

(29:13):
That was? That was? That was stupid, because a lot
can go wrong in Colombia. And then I, I, let
me see if I can pull it up over here.
Tell me, tell me what kind of scam you guys
think this is. Let me see if I can recreate
this yet give me a second year. Okay, now all right?

(29:36):
So I said, so I know that England they went
through and they're playing in Miami on Saturday. And I
told BT two, you know how much she loves soccer.
She is a huge fan, a huge soccer fan, and
her birthdays her birthday's coming up anniversary. So instead of,
you know, obviously being smart like I am, instead of

(29:58):
celebrating two separate things, I combine that into birth versary.
That way, I only have to get one thing birth versary.
Sometimes I don't even do it in July when it
actually occurs, I go, we have to have fake birth
versary because I'm too busy or whatever. Anyway, so I
thought maybe this would be a great birth versary gift

(30:19):
for B two that we go to see England take
on Norway in Miami. And that's, you know, saves you
a little money. You don't have to pay for hotels
or anything. You got bankruptcy bus down there. I said,
let me see what tickets are. So I looked on
the resale sites and I go, okay, we're not Jesus Christ.

(30:41):
Look at this. If you don't do anything on this
stupid FIFA page, your time expires. Like it just do.
I have to go through the whole log in thing again.
Where are they playing at that new stadium they just built? No,
no hard rock stadium. It's where the football where the
Dolphins were Oh, okay, so that's close the right No,

(31:02):
not in the soccer stadium is closer the football I
mean basically the old soccer old soccer stadium, that's very far. Yeah,
but this is close. It's right in the middle of
Maybe no, it's still it's actually further the soccer the
new soccer stadium that they built, but that only seats
like twenty or twenty five thousand people. That's close. Hard
Rock Stadium is a little I mean, that's a little

(31:24):
bit of a haul for me. But anyway, so I
look at these tickets. I look at the resale sites,
and people want like for a decent you know, for
a close up ticket, they want like nine thousand dollars.
I go per ticket and I say, well, that's not
going to happen. So then I go to a FIFA
site and they say, we do have limited availability on tickets. So, oh,

(31:46):
for God's sake, they make us so unbelievably complicated with
all of this. Dumb Is this to stop scalpers? I guess?
Let me see here, doesn't want me type anything. Let's see,
did you see what's going on? It's stub hub. Well,
stub hub is getting a. I guess people are buying

(32:08):
World Cup tickets and then they just never get the tickets. Now,
I'm not sure why I think they it's because the
people selling them don't have the tickets. Oh well, I
thought in order to sell the tickets, don't you have
to somehow upload them to stub hub.

Speaker 6 (32:24):
I've never done it, so I don't know how any
of it works, but I you would think that's how
it works. But somehow people are just not getting the
tickets at all. They'll just be they'll be flying out somewhere,
they'll get to the World Cup. It's happening a lot
around the World Cup. They'll get there, and then the
tickets just go, well, we don't we don't have your tickets.
You don't have tickets.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Now, you've spent money on hotels, airfare, all this, and
your tickets are eight thousand dollars a pop. You get
there and then you don't actually have the tickets, and
maybe they'll refund you, but like, you just wasted days. Yeah,
I forget the You're not even upset. You're like, yay,
obviously you want the refund, but your biggest disappointment is
that you plan. I'm not even getting the refund. I
just assume we're getting a refund. So here's what they do.

(33:04):
So here's here's how they have these these seats. So
they have I know, this is sort of hard to see.
They have category one, two, three, whatever. They have this
front Category one. This means the lower bowl, first three rows.
What does this say right here? Can you can you
see here? Last minute sales? They don't have anything available
in the other categories. The category one is the best.

(33:26):
What does this say right here?

Speaker 3 (33:28):
From one seven.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Ninety dollars From one thousand, seven hundred ninety dollars. I go, oh,
you know what that that's expensive, but you know, maybe
maybe we do price. Yeah, but from seventeen ninety three rows,
first three rows. That's right, Yeah, not bad, that's good. Okay,
So I go, okay, let me get two tickets. Let
me add this to my cart. Oh, for god's sake,
it was to say now attentional error. It says error occurred.

(33:51):
Let's see add to cart. Oh my god, maybe I
have to turn off ad blocker. I don't even know
what this is. I think Charlie must have. Maybe that's
from Charlie. I don't have anyone. Yeah, yeah, I'm not
signed in. I made sure I was signed out yesterday.

Speaker 7 (34:07):
All the money that you have buying all these tickets,
oh my lord, I've been buying.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
I probably over the limit, Rover. I bought like eight tickets.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
So just try one and see if that works, just
to see if any.

Speaker 6 (34:20):
Yeah, maybe because you're getting pair you're trying to get
two seats next to each other.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Oh my god, it just doesn't work well. Anyways, I
can tell you what. Let me reload the page, let
me try it one more time. I can tell you
what ends up happening. There are no tickets available for
one thousand, seven and ninety dollars. You add these to
your cart and they're eight thousand bucks a pop. I
did you get zero? I go, I'm not paying sixteen
seven and then taxes on top of it. Was like

(34:44):
it was like nineteen thousand dollars. Can't you go for
two tickets? Who's paying that? Where is that coming from?
I don't think anybody is. Can you go staying outside
the stadium.

Speaker 6 (34:56):
Wait till kickoff or I don't know, wait till kickoff,
but you know, say out there an hour before then
go to whatever the resale website. People will see there's
tickets available, and you could just buy them right then.
I mean, you haven't placed other so it's like you're
out a bunch and if maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
If not, you're just at your place.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
But you could be right there and go, let's see
our tickets going down in price, and you're right outside
the the venue.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
You go got him, let's walk in. Possibly maybe because
I think by an hour before.

Speaker 6 (35:26):
Once they realize nobody's paying eight thousand dollars, those prices
are gonna drop.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Yeah, here's so if it won't, let me book the
best seat, but I can select my seat on a map. Here,
so here's front row section one, twenty eight and ninety
a ticket. They're only offering front row left yep, so
you can't go. And this is people were very upset
because they went and they bought their World Cup tickets
like months ago, and they had it broken down into category,

(35:53):
category one, two, three, and four, and you buy into
whatever you know, Category one is the best, category four
is the worst, different price levels, and then you buy
your tickets and then they will later give you your
seat assignment. Okay, well, so people did that, they get
their seats nobody's complaining. And then FIFA goes, oh, guess what,

(36:16):
we have a new category. It's called front category. Whoa
front category? That's what you're doing. You get one exactly.
And so then everyone was very upset that they go,
wait a second, we just got ripped off. Nobody is
so yeah, I mean it's a huge money grab, unbelievable
money grab. But I mean eighty six hundred dollars. But

(36:39):
that's the cheapest from FIFA. That's the cheapest resale ticket. Uh,
you're not obviously the best. You're just in the stadium.
Forget what I saw probably about five grand or something
for for the worst seat. Well, I don't know. I
didn't even look at that. I didn't look in Like
the nose believes, what if it's one hundred bucks, is

(37:00):
not going to be one hundred bucks. And to me,
it's not if it's going to be like a thousand bucks,
two thousand bucks whatever, I don't know. To me, it's
not worth it to be spend a thousand bucks to
be in a seat that you really can't see.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
I say, you do what I said, go down there
and the price will drop.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Right ris they're stating.

Speaker 7 (37:17):
There and you're there, so then you can just buy
it and then get in.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
See. I've thought about this before in the past because
into Miami, the soccer team there, they they see their
games never sell out, but they claim that they're sold out.
But then you look in the stands and you go,
nobody's there. What's going on? They have some sort of
I don't want to call it a scam. I don't
know what's going on exactly, but I've thought this same thing.
And I wasn't even going to go to a game,

(37:40):
but or I consider going to a game, and I go,
the tickets are too expensive there, come on, give me
a break. And I thought the same thing that Charlie did.
So I was at home and I pull up whatever,
take it up and to look and I go, okay,
now the game, like it's ten minutes to kick off,
must be cheaper. Nope, kickoff, Okay, Now, prices will go down. No,

(38:03):
they just never went down. You look at halftime, that
ticket for two thousand dollars is still two thousand dollars.
It's so I don't know what, dude, I don't know
what's going on. I can get you in the building
right now. Oh yeah, eighteen hundred bucks. Eighteen hundred put me,
uh this corner all the way back there? Yeah, oh yeah,

(38:25):
yeah yeah here eighteen hundred bucks apiece. We're two and
twenty six a month. It's a firm ridiculous. That's two
thousand dollars to sit in literally the last row. Two
thousand dollars per ticket. You're three rows in front of
the last I mean you can step up for another.
You can never get oxygen tank with you to go
sit in those seats. Is the stadium huge? Yeah, it's

(38:48):
a big it's a big football stadium. It's like an
NFL stadium. You can get right here. Three grand.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
That's not steal.

Speaker 7 (38:57):
But what ticket is this?

Speaker 3 (38:59):
This is not bad, that's a great view.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
That's a bad what what what does a seak seat? Geek? Okay, see,
I don't know. That makes me nervous as well. No, see,
actually going to get the tickets, legit, that's pretty good.
Right there you are on the What about what about
right next to their front row? Front row? Yeah? Six
thousand a piece.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
Holy hell?

Speaker 2 (39:20):
But three grand r three grand is too expense. I
mean three grand. When I saw seventeen ninety, I go,
that's expensive. But just to say that I went to
one World Cup game and to experience it.

Speaker 7 (39:33):
Said it was it was insane, it was so amazing.
He was so grateful.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Go just by yourself. But two doesn't want to go. Oh,
I could get like a single ticket. Yeah, hang out
by myself. Yeah he went by himself. Well, I know,
I don't think I would.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
People were really friendly and it was totally fine.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Let's look at single tickets. Here, I'm getting the map
few here.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
You're very chatty. You could become Yeah, you know me.
I love drink so much of English guys.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
Oh, he would love that I end up in the
Norwegian section and nobody would be able to speak with me.
I'd have to do that Viking row thing.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
You would love that camaraderie. I get the hat with
the whos and everything that's hot.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Let's see, here's forty six, says tickets for the last
Pink show in Cleveland. We're four hundred and fifty dollars
for weeks prior to the show. Day of the same
tickets dropped two one hundred and seventy five. Charlie's right,
wait until the day of Well maybe, but that's you're
taking a lot of risk because now I'm flying down there.

(40:34):
You do that all the time. You're not taking any risk.

Speaker 6 (40:35):
No, look at this front row, three thousand dollars, just
you by yourself, one ticket.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Oh what's the view over come on?

Speaker 2 (40:45):
Uh huh, that's not bad.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
That's a gift to your wife, not being.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Is you don't have to go. Yes, that's not a
bad idea. I think we both probably would enjoy that,
all right. I uh anyway, So.

Speaker 7 (41:02):
Any bets that he takes this break upcoming break and
he buys a ticket, I.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Bet you do.

Speaker 6 (41:08):
He won't do it right now, He'll wait. Oh he's
going The idea is in his brain, he is in
my brain. But I don't think it's going to leave
until he gets a ticket. But I think he's gonna wait.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
I don't know. My wife really does not want to
go at all. I mean she's not she she hates
going to those things. She does not like it. And
did you see that this? Let me see if I
can find out exactly. I meant to pull up the
original remarks. But so you know that Paraguay and France.
I'll get off the soccer stuff in a minute. But
you got to hear this story. Okay, so Paraguay or

(41:41):
Guhy however you pronounce it, and France played I don't
know what was it. I guess on Saturday, I think,
and France won one to nothing. I didn't watch the
game because I was flying, but I guess it was
kind of like a rough game. There's a lot of
It's just a lot of fowls and a lot of

(42:03):
back and forth and whatever. And so a guy that
plays for France Killian and Bappe, one of the best
soccer players in the world. After after they win, a
senator from Paraguay named Celeste A Maria. She went online
and just just started blasting him, calling him a well.

(42:26):
I don't know, they said. It was all these racist things.
She said, Do we have the original comments? Can anyone
find the original? I saw some yesterday. I don't have
them exactly.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
This is.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
I don't know where I saw those.

Speaker 6 (42:43):
But she basically said, he's an animal, he is a
transplant from some Cameroon.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
He's raised by chimpanzees. Oh geez, he's a black guy.
By the way, Just in case you yes, you don't
know the guy raised by chimpanzees. Yea, I saw. I
don't know where it's up. But yeah, so she that's
what she said. This is a senator from Paraguay and
uh so then everyone blasts her. They're like, what a racist?

(43:11):
So this embabe guy goes on and says that he
gets on social media and calls her a despicable woman
who is unworthy of office. Now, granted, if somebody calls
you your parents chimpanzees and whatever you're you're probably gonna be.
That's it. That's that seems to me a fair response.

Speaker 6 (43:31):
Instead of mother's milk, he sucked coconuts and the most
educated thing he heard were chimpanzees.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
I mean, that's something else, is it? Yeah? I also
believe that she said that he should have been slapped
by one of the other players. And I mean she
went on and on and on. I don't speak Spanish
or whatever the language they're speaking, but so I don't
know everything that she said, but it was pretty outrageous.
So anyways, so he responds and says that she's a

(44:00):
despicable woman, unearthy, unworthy of office. Well, that senator has
deleted her original racist tweets, but now she's upset with
Killian and Boppe again and she's demanding an apology from him.
She says, my posts were written in the heat of

(44:20):
the moment. My mixed race blood, the beautiful blend of
Indigenous and Spanish heritage that runs through my veins was boiling.
So you could tell here that she's like, Oh, I'm
not racist because I'm mixed race myself. I got away
mixed race blood racing through my veins. Later, I regretted
responding with the same insults that I myself have received

(44:42):
because I'm a poor Indigenous, mixed race person myself, because
I too have been looked down upon for being dark
skinned Latin American and as they call us Suducas, never
heard that word. I realized I was repeating the very
behavior that I despise, so I deleted the post. I

(45:06):
understand that it upset you because it was humiliating. Now
I expect you to do the same, withdraw your remarks
and apologize to me. I will not tolerate your aggression.
You have no idea who I am, and you have
no right to say that I am a despicable woman
unworthy of the office. I hold this is gender based violence,

(45:29):
plain and simple. It is political violence against a woman
who reached her position through the votes of her people.
Retract your remarks, honor your French citizenship, and apologize to me.
Otherwise I may begin legal proceedings on the grounds of
gender based violence. What this is a psychoe?

Speaker 3 (45:48):
Isn't that completely insane?

Speaker 2 (45:51):
So you call this guy a chimpanzee basically who sucked
on coconuts instead of mother's milk. And then and then
he says that you're a despicable woman, unworthy of office.

Speaker 6 (46:05):
And now you want to Oh my god, I've never
heard who has the right to say that.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Isn't that this is She kind of reminds me of
dot Nose, because Dougie does this kind of stuff where
she'll say or do something that's very offensive or just
aggravating and just yes, mean spirited, and then the person
will react and then she'll be like, what me, dude,

(46:34):
Isn't that insane that the senator is demanding an apology now?
And political violence against a woman? Wow, that is completely bonkers.
I don't know what's going on how they do things
over in Paris, but the Paris Prosecutor's office they say
that they have launched a probe after their national unit

(46:56):
for combating online hate, received a complaint from the French
Football Federation about this aggravated public insult from the Senator,
and then they've launched an investigation. Now what that investigation
could possibly come up with? This is somebody a different country.
What are you gonna do? What do you need to investigate?

(47:17):
Why are you waiting for your taxpayer money on that?
How stupid? But that's how they do it over there,
Like you say something insulting on social media and they'll
come and arrest you. Yeah, maybe they'll ban her from
France or whatever. But anyways, so she says that she
was angered by his arrogance and contempt and she just

(47:39):
doesn't like this killing him bape guy. But he's the
one that has to apologize to her. Now, I've got
to take a quick break, Dougie. Yeah, you have the
Shizzy coming up. What's on the way.

Speaker 7 (47:53):
I've got a lot of good news stories. I think
the gas prices might go off. I'm going to explain
to you why that might happen all. Also, I don't
know if you saw this story in midhound Manhattan.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Some evacuations had to occur. It's pretty scary. I'll tell
you those stories next

Speaker 2 (48:08):
