Speaker 1 (00:01):
Let's do the toads from Christine's cookie jar.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Job.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Christine, So, I wanted to catch you guys up on
my favorite things from last week that you may have missed,
Starting with Sublime. Sublime announced a multi city concert which
it's only two two cities it's happening in, and one

(00:42):
of those cities is fort Worth. What it's called Sublime
Agusta Festival. I like Sublime, Yes, thank you, that's what
it means. Sublime Agusta Festival happening at Panther Island Pavilion
May ninth.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I believe, Oh, is that when they do that?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Didn't they used to do? Is it called Fortress Fest
or something?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
They did?

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Is that?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
What? Isn't that what the Panther City Pavilion is? Or
am I mixing stuff?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I think?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I don't really know, Like Run the Jewels is played there.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Because I saw Father John Misty there, I don't think that.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Was Pether Island. I thought they did their own festival act,
so it's separate from this. I believe that's okay, okay cool.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
But these tickets are already on sale and right now
the only other band they've announced is slightly Stupid but
they're gonna announce more so right now. It's Slightly Stupid Sublime.
Those tickets are on sale now and again, I just
think it's really cool that they're only doing this in
two cities.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
And Fort Worth is one of them. The happiest I've
ever seen our old Friendshippy, who's the DJ for the
Mavericks and the Stars, is when I got him in
to see Slightly Stupid.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
God, he was so happy, and it's like, man, you
are so high. Have you liked the Devil's Letters? You
love Slightly Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
And Sublime. Something else you guys missed. Flee started his
own YouTube channel, oh and he posted one video immediately
and it's just him playing the trumpet.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
It's kind of weird.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
It's he's in a kitchen, he's playing trumpet and there's
this little toddler sitting there in their highchair just kind
of look at him like what are you doing? And
the song he does, I never would have guessed he'd
cover this song and he does a great job at it.
So I wanted to play it for you guys because
I thought you'd enjoy cool. And again, you're gonna hear
that baby in the background. While he's playing baby.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Oh oh Frank Ocean, Yes, beautiful melody.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
So he plays it really well. I had no idea
that he played trumpet.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
He played and I can't remember what song, but he
played trumpet on a James Addiction song on the Nothing
Shocking record, and I can't remember which one it was.
Got a three year old?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Oh so that's his kid.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Okay. A really good way though, to get a baby
to sleep is to play at Frank Ocean on the trumpet. Yeah,
right in their face. Every in those all those doctor
Spock books, I'll tell you all that Flee is as
sixty three. His wife's fifty. Oh I would have thought
like twenty four. Yeah what his wife? Yeah, No, he's dong,
she's fifty.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Song is probably twenty four.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Anyway, he posted another video today. It's at Flea Official
if you want to follow his YouTube channel, I don't
think followers. But also apparently he's working on a trumpet
solo album as well.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Oh he's gotten full.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, that's probably him just promoting that and getting ahead
of it.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
It's Flee the Andre three thousand of the rock world. Yeah,
two one four seven eight, Please let the general know
two one four, seven, eight seven.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
One of them and then last but not least. I
figured this would be a really good Christmas gift if
you need some Christmas gift ideas.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Guns Roses announced a huge tour last week as well.
Let's go, and they are coming to Arlington. They're playing
Global Live Field at September ninth.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
September ninth, Global Life. All right, so Ben needs to
hit up John Daniels uh huh and find out if
he can get tickets to that show. Yeah, yeah, that's uh.
That is that like money grab thing or are they like, hey,
get together, new album coming? Always wonder that type of thing.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
They did just drop some two new songs with that
as well.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
They're so hard to keep up with what they're doing
and not doing.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
You know, Slash is always doing these side projects. So
I think they're just like, hey, Slash, you had time
to come back to Guns Roses for a.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Minute and let me see if I can find my hat?
Sure man? All right, yeah, very good, Christina, thank you.
I might follow that dong tube channel that Lee is doing.
That sounds really good, all right? Coming up next? Cooper
Flag said an NBA record on Saturday. What was it
we'll tell you right here on the Eagle

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
