Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody. Tuesday edition of The Clay Travis and
Buck Sexton Show kicks off right now. Guilty, Guilty, guilty,
all three counts. This is Buck. By the way, Clay
is having a day of a tour in colleges with
one of his boys, so hopefully having a great time
seeing some good schools. He'll be back with us tomorrow.

(00:21):
So it is me at the helm. I have the
can and boy, oh boy, is it quite a day.
Hunter Biden, all three counts found guilty. I did call
this one, as you know, because you listen and you
hear what I say on the air. I knew there
was no way around this the moment that and there's
other news stories we'll get to as well, which I'll

(00:42):
line up in a second. But I want to dive
right into the Hunter Biden situation, just because this has
been a long time coming and meaning any semblance of
justice in the Hunter Biden fiasco, although I will tell
you this is a tiny console of justice. Really it
should be much much more. I'll get into that. But

(01:05):
I knew that they were in trouble here. I knew
they were in trouble when the defense was essentially maybe
Hunter you know, wasn't high when he checked the form
or something. That's that's not a thing. As I said
on the on the error, I think it was yesterday.
If that was a if that was a reasonable defense

(01:27):
for Hunter, it would nullify the entire law. Now, as
a quick aside, I actually don't like this law. And
i'm because I believe in principle and honesty. I don't
like this law. I don't think that people in states where,
for example, they have a medical marijuana and they have
legalized it at the state level, you're still in violation
of federal law. And there's it's a mess. Okay, the

(01:49):
law is a mess. It needs to be cleaned up.
Put that aside, though, Why am I telling you that
this is just a little bit, a little bit of
justice for the situation here. The most egregious crime that
Hunter Biden has committed as a matter of statute, but

(02:11):
more importantly, the one that matters to all of us,
isn't checking some form about his buying of a handgun
years ago. I frankly don't care. The law is the
law they tell us. They certainly told us that about Trump.
So this is what the system is supposed to produce
under this circumstance a guilty verdict. The facts were not

(02:34):
in dispute. This is very obvious, but the most the
most egregious thing that Hunter Biden has done is money
laundering to hide the selling out of his country to
foreign interests through the promise of access to his father

(02:56):
than the vice president and now the president. That's what
really should upset the American people the most, and that
is why the media won't touch it. There won't be
any prosecution under that. The tax case, which I believe
is set to start September fifth in Los Angeles or
Los Angeles County, that's just a personal matter for Hunter

(03:18):
Biden not paying taxes. Again, a very straightforward case. The
facts are not in dispute. Did he file? Did he pay? No?
No illegal can't do that, So what really remains in dispute?
I know they are allegations, but when the facts aren't
in dispute, they're just going to try to plead. I think, well,
I don't know if they'll take a plea bargain, but

(03:40):
they're going to try to plead. If they take it
all the way to trial, that Hunter is a mess.
That Hunter is a sad individual. And they want to
play the sympathy card. So many thoughts come up during this,
But first I don't want us to lose sight of
the fact that this is still incredibly lenient. Overall. Hunter

(04:03):
Biden's treatment is incredibly lenient because a decision was made
to sit on the most serious charges such that the
statute of limitations would run, and they tried to make
this whole thing go away. But the way in which
they did it would have so made a mockery of
the court. And we discussed this at length here, Clay

(04:23):
and I did on air. They tried to plead to
one thing and then throw the gun charge into that
plea without really addressing it on an addendum page. I mean,
it was so slimy. With all of this. Though Hunter
Biden is still has still been treated with kid gloves.

(04:44):
He has been able to get away with breaking laws
and honestly selling out his country for years. Right, you
don't just take money from Chinese communist backed business interests,
millions of dollars of it, you know, because because what?
Because why? We also know that Joe Biden had a

(05:07):
very bizarre habit of keeping classified information that he knew
was classified on hind who does that? What's the motivation
for that? I know he thinks he's above the law,
and Joe Biden has been above the law up to
this point and that may continue. Unfortunately, why would he
risk violations of the Espionage Act classifyed information? I used

(05:31):
to read it eight hours a day basically, or all
day long when I was in the CIA. Usually not
that interesting, and it also erodes over time, meaning it's
far less interesting and sensitive as years go by. So
why is it that Joe Biden would keep that? I
don't have the answer, but I just would note. You
have a son who is taking millions of dollars from

(05:52):
our primary adversary, and you have the dad taking classified
home and being reckless with it. And the only defense
for him is my brain doesn't work so good because
I'm too old. And the defense for a hunter Biden
is my brain doesn't work so good because I'm an addict.
And we're seeing a pattern here, right, We're seeing that

(06:13):
there isn't actually any accountability. There isn't justice being done.
This is at a bare minimum what the system would
have to turn out this guilty verdict or else. The
whole thing is a joke. Or else. We're at a
point where nothing, you know, nothing matters in the justice system,
like you know, it's just all pure politics. Now, there's

(06:34):
no This couldn't have been a more obvious, open and
shut case. The fact that Hunter even took it to
trial is indicative, I think of what the political necessities
are for the Democrat Party. I'm sure he talked to
his dad about this, or there was discussions with some
of Joe's handlers. Has to be a sympathy call, has
to be a sympathy case, and that's what they've been saying.

(06:56):
And I've even seen some commentators who are you Democrats
or left of centered types are saying, Oh, but I'm
just so sad for Hunter. I'm so sad for you know,
what he's going through here in the whole case. And
I sit here and I say, where was all this
sympathy from any of these commentators, from any of these

(07:16):
Democrat reporters or anchors or politicians for nonviolent January sixth
offenders whose lives were ruined, who were put in solitary confinement,
who had federal judges while they were in solitary confinement
in one case, claim that the reason they had to

(07:36):
be held in solitary was that they were still a
threat of insurrection against the Republic. Some middle aged woman
with a fanny pack on who took a selfie inside
the Capitol because things got a little too rowdy that
day was a threat to overthrow the government by herself
if she was let out, Or a guy under the
same situation, same circumstances. Where was the sympathy for them?

(08:01):
You know, this is where I have to say it
becomes a more difficult proposition sometimes as an American, as
a Conservative, as a Christian, as a human being, of course,
I want to have sympathy for people who are in
difficult situations. I try to always bring a sympathetic mind
to this show. But the other side of the political

(08:23):
spectrum has decided that this is the ground upon which
the fight will be waged. Law fair. They are using
the law as a weapon against their political adversaries. So
if we don't insist that the same is done in
response to even the most fleeting, ephemeral, minor violation of statute,

(08:49):
how are we ever going to be able to bring
this country back to sanity in the justice system. If
they can continue to get away with everything and we
are forced to defend everything. How are we able to
reach any kind of truce, if you will, a legal
truce going forward? Now the only way that this can

(09:12):
get better, and it is going to get worse, I
will have you note before it gets better, I will
take I'll take calls on this today. I think this
is going to be part of the rationale very possibly
for more severely punishing Trump. Don't think that this just
passes unnoticed. Now it's going to be see Hunter Biden

(09:34):
is convicted and he faces judgment. I made the prediction
on the show that he would be convicted. I also
made the prediction on the show that he will be
subject to home confinement and drug treatment. I don't think
Hunter Biden spends one single day in a prison cell.
Not one. And of course we'll discuss this too. But

(09:57):
the notion that Joe it is not going to pardon
his son is laughable, right, I mean it's laughable. Everyone
knows that, even the Democrats, no one in the commentariat
who has an IQ that is, you know, well above
room temperature thinks that Joe Biden isn't going to pardon
his son. Of course, he's going to pardon his son.

(10:18):
But they're hoping that it'll be after the election, and
who will care. Right, whether Joe wins or loses, going
to pardon him, who will care won't make any difference.
It'll be like so many other things Democrats tell you
that will never happen. I swear, how could you that'll
never yet happened, That it was a good thing that
had happened. It's one of their favorite games to play.
It's one of the things unfortunately they do so well.

(10:40):
So well, I can tell you that the right verdict
was reached here. This is part of a much larger battle.
Let's be honest. We still have the sentencing of Donald
Trump coming up. We still do not have Hunter Biden
receiving any kind of real punishment yet, we don't know.
I think it will be quite light. I could be wrong.

(11:01):
We don't have Hunter Biden facing the music though, for
what is as I said, most damaging and most serious
and most politically volatile, which is the selling of access
to his dad to foreign nations. Now I know they'll say, well,
access pedaling, that's not illegal. Actually, Foreign Agent Registration Act

(11:22):
is illegal, and it used to be not a big deal.
But going back to law, fair going back to fighting
fire with fire. They decided that when it came to
Paul Manifort and others, that Pharaoh was a very serious crime. Well,
those are the rules now, right, That's what's going on.

(11:42):
We can all of a sudden have a unilateral enforcement
of a law or a one sided enforcement of that law.
Hunter Biden certainly violated Pharaoh. They've let the statute limitations
run out on that. And he was certainly selling access.
Remember he wasn't selling access to Switzerland, and he wasn't
selling access to Costa Rica. It's not like this is

(12:04):
some country that just wanted to get a photo op
with Biden, maybe for one of their ministers or something.
He was selling access to our biggest adversary, to the
one who's trying to push our policies and directions that
weaken us and that make them more able to compete
with us economically and yes, eventually militarily. And he did

(12:27):
it to the tune of millions and millions of dollars,
and his dad knew about it. And this is why
when we talk about the Biden crime family, now a
matter of records, there is crime in that family convicted.
When we talk about the Biden crime family. It is
important to remember the full scope of what they have done,

(12:51):
the depth of the betrayal of the American people, and
the way this is playing out in the court is
important to follow closely, and we should be prepared. We
are going to take more hits on our side from
this too. The Democrats are ferociously insane when it comes
to Trump, as you are well aware, and they can
justify anything in their minds if it means that Trump

(13:15):
won't win and Republicans will suffer. But the full scale
of Biden's betrayal of this country is something that will
become easier for us to talk about now that we
see their lies. But Hundre did nothing wrong. Joe Biden
said that, of course that was a lie. Hunter Biden
committed no crimes. Of course that was a lie, lies

(13:36):
upon lies the whole time. That means that there'll be
more pressure I think on Biden going forward. And I
got to tell you, how do we think it looks
on that debate stage in a few weeks when Trump
gets to say, your son is a felon, but we
all know that he should be serving a prison sentence
for selling out the country. With you Joe Biden helping

(13:59):
him do. So that's where this needs to go, and
that's where I think the Democrats recognize they've got a
big problem. Let's take your calls on this one. If
you have additional thoughts, you agree or disagree with that
of my predictions on the Hunter Biden verdict, want to
hear from you eight hundred two eighty two two eight
eight two. And you know, when you discover a company
providing a service at a price point that makes you smile,

(14:21):
it's a home run. When you discover that same company
also aligns with your values, well, that's a grand slam
for me. Puretalk is that company. Switch your cell phone
service to pure Talk and you'll be saving fifty or
sixty dollars a month without sacrificing an equality. How do
I know this? I'm a Puretalk customer, have been for years.
I flip open my well, I flip open It's like
we're in the nineties. I click on my phone and

(14:44):
I look at it, and you know what it says
top right at the screen. Puretalk. That's who I use
from my main phone day in and day out. Pure
Talk uses a percentage by the way of your already
very low monthly rate to do good with the money
that you're giving them for organizations like America's Warrior Partnership.
This organization has helped more than sixty thousand veterans in
the past twenty years. They provide access to housing, food,

(15:06):
employment introductions, and so much more to help veterans. So
you're supporting a company that believes in the same America
that you do. You're getting a better price than you
will anywhere else, better customer service than you will anywhere else,
and you're supporting America's Warrior Partnership, which does critical things
for our veterans with plans from just twenty dollars a
month on the nationwide five G network. Pure Talk is

(15:28):
an obvious choice. They're all US based. Customer service team
makes it super easy to make the switch. Dial Pound
two five zero, say Clay and Buck at pure Talk's
US customer service team will help you make the switch.
That's Pound two five zero and say Clay and Buck.
Today play Travis and Buck Sexton telling it like it is.

(15:48):
Find them on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you
get your podcasts. Welcome back in team to Clay and Buck.
I'm gonna be taking you through a whole range of topics.
Today on the show got more on the border, including
some audio from majorcas that should just, i don't know,

(16:08):
make make your head explode. We'll play that in a
little bit. Rolling Stone had some leftist activists going after
the spouse of a Supreme Court justice with a secret
recording undercover audio. They call it secretly recording a private
conversation with a person that said nothing that was untoward.

(16:29):
And the Libs are all just freaking out about it.
But pressuring the spouses of Supreme Court justices. This is
not a new thing, but it is ramping up, and
we will discuss why the left, you know, does it
right ever do this. If any person on the right said, oh,
I'm going to go out, you know, pressure, I should
say the spouse of and and give me any of

(16:49):
the Libs on the Supreme Court, I said, that's the
We don't come on, that's just gross. Well, they do
it all the time, their news organizations. I'm not just
talking about whackos walking around, including the who have protested
at the homes of Supreme Court justices, all Democrats, all
Biden voters, and then the extreme lunatic who said he
was wanted to assassinate a Supreme Court justice, and that

(17:11):
guy was fortunately arrested. But there's a reason that Democrats
are so agitated about the Supreme Court right now, and
it's not a new reason, but events are making it
something higher up on their radar, you could say. So
we'll get into some of that coming a little bit.

(17:32):
Plus more on Donald Trump's classified documents case. One element
of the case thrown out. I'll update you there. They've
released the mugshot of Rudy Giuliani. The law fair happening
all over the place that's in Arizona. We'll discuss that too.
So there's a lot going on today and I look
forward to diving into more of it here. In just

(17:53):
a moment. Government employees, I've got a discount destination just
for you. Gov dot com is specifically set up to
welcome federal, state, county, and city employees. This online shopping
site offers fantastic deals from thousands of brands. It's free
and easy to join, so if you're current or former military,
law enforcement, a firefighter, teacher, or government service employee, you

(18:17):
qualify discounts on incredible brands like more Tex Optics, Oakley Yetti,
Garmin ray Band. Perry and I have our ray bands.
In fact, I got some recently, some Oakley's that kind
of like, well, look like the wraparounds a little bit.
He says. You know, hey, Buck, it's not nineteen ninety five.
I say, honey, I look cool. And I got a
thirty percent discount. What's up? Save up to forty percent

(18:38):
on apparel, footwear, jewelry, all kinds of stuff go to
gov x dot com. Plus they donate a portion of
every single order to nonprofits that serve military and first
responder communities. See if you qualify govgovx dot com, use
code buck. That's goovx dot com. Use code buck. Welcome
back in teams to Clay en Buck eight hundred and
two A two two eight A two. Let's talk about

(19:00):
the Hunter Biden guilty verdict on all three counts. They
always do this, facing twenty five years in prison. I mean,
he's not gonna get twenty five years in prison. I
don't think he's gonna get a year in prison. That
is possible. That would be the if the judge nor
Aka in the case decides that no special treatment. Hunter

(19:21):
probably gets six to twelve months somewhere minimum security, you know,
and that's that's what would but he won't serve it
because Joe Biden will pardon him. Have they set the sentence?
And yet guys do they say that today? I assume
they have them forgetting what it is, but they're probably
going to try to delay and appeal. And like I said,
Hunter's not my belief, my prediction, Hunter Biden will not

(19:43):
spend a single day in a cell, which if we're
going to live in the law is the law of society.
People have served time in prison for this. And I
know it's not to my benefit to say this right now,
but I disagree with this law. I do, but the
way it is, you know, as written. I also disagree
with taking away nonviolent felons Second Amendment rights. You know,

(20:05):
I don't think if somebody did it now people, that's fine.
They're people in the riot who don't agree with me
on this one. But you know, if you're a doctor
who is over billing Medicare or something twenty years ago,
you can't have a shotgun to protect your home or
a handgun to protect your home. I don't I mean
know what I mean, I don't see that anyway that's
what the law says right now, any felony whatsoever right now.
The Supreme Court, I think, is actually looking at the

(20:28):
domestic abuse component of firearms purchasing, where you have to say,
I think you've never been convicted or I might even
say arrested. I have to check. I'm not as deep
on this, but I did I have seen something. I'm
just going off a memory. Supreme Court is looking into
the domestic violence component of whether you can own a
firearm anyway, because that's also on the form which I've

(20:51):
obviously filled out many times, Like anyone who owns a
gun has anyone wants to, you know, own a gun
and not get it in a shady way. Joe, I
know there can be private sales. Don't start yelling at me.
But in general, if you go to a gun store,
you go to an FFL. That's how you're gonna buy it.
Let's see where are we on the Hunter Biden verdict.
Oh yes, the pardon components. I will say this was

(21:15):
a funny moment because there was a CNN panel and
they were all, you know, well, hunter Hunter Biden. Even
if this was before the conviction, this was yesterday. But
even if he's convicted. Joe Biden has given his word
that he would never stoop to pardon his own son,
and to his credit, he you know, he hates Trump,

(21:38):
he's a never Trumper. But Jonah Goldberg is like, you guys,
are you guys are kidding right, He's definitely good. He's
definitely gonna pardon his son. Played three.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
We don't know if Hunter Biden is actually going to
be found guilty. I think he will. We don't know
even if he's done guilty, whether he will go get
a real prison sentence in this or in a subsequent
tax case. If he does get a real prison sentence,
despite your endearing faith in Joe Biden's word, Joe Biden
will pardon his son to spare him a prison sentence
after the election, one way or the other.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Correct, Like, I don't know if Jonah Goldberg is taking bets.
You know, I'm I'm on the Jonah Goldberg side of
this wager because obviously Hunter Biden he's gonna get pardoned
by his dad. And again, because I'm not a leftist,
I'm not a commie. I will speak to you honestly
if I were Joe Biden and my son were going

(22:28):
to go to prison for this, I'd be like, no, sorry,
that's not happening. That's not happening. I'm not allowing that.
You know, family first, you know, murder, rape, something horrible,
you know someone. I think you've got to pay your
debt to society, regardless of familial bonds. But this now,
he's gonna pardon him. He's gonna pardon him, So that's
for sure. The timeline, though, gets very interesting here. And

(22:50):
now let's get into a little more of the political
implications of all this. Oh, I know, I see you
already with your emails coming my way and your your
tweets and your Facebook message is about see, they're gonna
replace Joe Biden. How much deeper in my bunker can
I get? They are not replacing Joe Biden. The only

(23:11):
way Biden is not the nominee is if Kamala Harris
is the nominee. And that wouldn't be some crazy change.
He's the vice president and he's super old, so and
something could happen. Right, that's it. There's no I'm quadrupling
down on my Joe Biden, or rather it'll be a
Biden Harris ticket. Biden Harris will be the ticket because

(23:34):
there's no mechanism to get rid of him. The other
part of this is the way that this will be
framed in the media. They're going to say, from now
until the election, even Joe Biden's son faces justice. Now see,
I already started off telling you that's not even true
because they let all the serious stuff lapse. You know

(23:57):
what I mean. Imagine if they had capone on murder
and on racketeering and all those things that although well
there's no statue limitations on murder ands on these things.
But let's just say they let all that slide, knowing
they could get them, and they only got them on
the tax evasion. You'd say, well, why didn't they get
them on the big stuff they had hunter on all
the other stuff. They let all that slide on purpose.

(24:18):
It's not because they could only get the small thing,
the gun charge. It's that they're letting the other stuff go.
I know there's a trial for taxes in Los Angeles,
but I think in that one he's also unlikely to
face any kind of a prison carceral sentence. That's the
term that the anti anti law and order people tend

(24:39):
to use. A carceral sentence because mass incarceration, of course,
as we know, was something that we were all supposed
to be really upset about. And then we started to
undo quote mass incarceration, and then cities got a lot
more violent and there were blm riots and all this
bad stuff happened, and many more people were killed, raped, murdered,
you know, bad things. Okay, back to the politics of
this for Biden. Uh, they're gonna they're gonna say even

(25:03):
Biden's son faces justice from now the election. They're not
trying to convince you. They're not trying to get you
to believe that, because you know, we're listening to the show,
you know. But they think that maybe they can play
the sympathy card. They think they can play the he's
an addict, his son, you know, Joe Biden's son is
an addict sad situation. But even his son, he will

(25:26):
allow to face the justice system unaided, and they think
maybe some on the fence voters might be swayed by this.
So I don't believe any of these prognostications that this
will damage Joe Biden politically from now to the election.
It's not gonna happen. This isn't some Oh my gosh,

(25:49):
this is the moment we've been waiting for.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Now.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Hunter is facing maybe you know, house arrest, mendatory drug tree,
even something like that. Maybe he gets three months in
a minimum security you know, minimum security facility. I've known
some guys who got jammed up. That's what they used
to call the NYPD for I got jammed up, jammed
up on insider trading stuff in the past. I've known

(26:12):
one or two guys who got jammed up on that.
You know, you don't go to You go to federal prison,
but you don't go to like, you know, it's not
like super Max in Colorado or something. So maybe, you know,
he would go to a minimum security facility somewhere for
a few months. I don't know. But he's not gonna happen.
Why because his dad's gonna pardon him. And so this
is why there won't be any real political hit to

(26:32):
Biden on this issue. It's just not gonna happen. They
already have their narrative in place. In fact, if anything,
they view this as a as a accelerant to the
law fair against Trump. And I still believe, you know,
Clay and I see this one, see this one differently.
I still believe they're going to try to at least
start the J six trib before the election. I know

(26:55):
it should be impossible. I know the Supreme Court can
weigh in. Look at what they have done so far,
Look at the speed, look at the holding of four
criminal indictments and trials until the election year, look at
the way they have abused the system. If there is
any possibility that they can get that trial going before

(27:16):
even if it doesn't finish before the election, they will
do so. This is why the timing, the timing of
Hunter Biden's sentencing, it's so interesting. I asked the team
they pulled this up because, yeah, the judge says, at
the end, I was busy tweeting away, no Hunter Biden
guilty on all counts one hundred and twenty days following verdict.

(27:38):
It'll be mid October. It'll be about mid October. Oh,
you mean the sentencing will come right before the election? Probably?
Who wants to bet that that will? Somehow? If Hunter
Biden has to claim he has appendicitis, if he you know,
there are ways, and it's not just for jury duty, right,
there are ways that people can delay them. Not the

(28:01):
lay jury duty service. I'm just saying there are ways
that people can hold off on this. If I'm Hunter Biden,
I say, I have my lawyers go well, I mean,
I don't know what they can legally, I'm not a lawyer,
but whatever they can do to delay, they will delay
because they know that even if Joe Biden has to
pardon him, you know, like November eighth or something, you know,

(28:24):
right after the election, a few days after the election,
that's what he'll do. So to me, this has almost
no political people are gonna say, oh, but the sentencing
will happen. Well, even if he gets sentenced, I don't
think they're going to remand him into custody, So they
probably will say, your sentence will start at some future date.
And if that's the case, plenty of time to get

(28:46):
a pardon from Daddy, which is what's going to happen.
So it's not a big moment I think in the
election cycle in terms of swang minds, this is not oh,
Joe Biden can't run because if anything, I think that
this creates Let me remind everyone, what is the one

(29:06):
fallback that Joe Biden throughout his entire life in politics?
The one fallback that he has always been able to
turn to in the most just uh exploitative way, family
tragedy for political gain. Car accident with his wife, talked

(29:28):
about it, lied about it, actually said that it was
a drunk driver. It was not, but would always, you know,
bring that up and sympathy. Oh he's just like he suffered,
He's just like me. I want to help him. I
want to vote for him. Lost His son, Bo Biden,
by all accounts a very good man. I didn't know him,
but said that that was the reason he was running
for president. That and then later the Charlottesville, which he
lied about. I also don't believe. It's just my belief.

(29:51):
I don't believe Bo Biden told him that he has
to run for president and that was That's but that's
the story. My point is. And also Joe Biden always
telling veterans that his son died in a rock, which
he didn't. But that is the fallback, the ultimate fallback
that Joe Biden has used for political advantage for longer
than I've been alive, about as long as I've been alive,

(30:13):
which is I think how long his career in politics
has stretched. So get ready for that, you know, when
Trump tries to confront him on the stage about the
Biden crime family. You will hear the words addiction from
Joe Biden. You will hear I love my son. He's
an addict that you know. If he loved his son
as much as he professes to, maybe he would have

(30:33):
allowed there to be consequences earlier on. Maybe he wouldn't
have had his cronies in the state of Delaware constantly
covering up for this guy. Never mind, whatever the Secret
Service is actually known about Hunter Biden as Secret Service protection.
Think about that one for a second, right, It's crazy.
So this is this is where we are, my friends.

(30:58):
This election cycle is going to get a whole lot nasty,
which I know can feel like, how is that possible?
Wait and see. Online identity theft is a silent crime.
You have no idea when you've become a victim, but
you do learn about it when a cyber hacker starts
using your info to make purchases, robbing you and ruining
your credit. It's important to understand how cybercrime and identity

(31:20):
theft are affecting our lives, just like it's important you
learn how to protect yourself. Becoming a LifeLock member helps
you defend yourself and your identity. They're online security systems
monitor millions of transactions every day looking for evidence of wrongdoing.
When LifeLock spots something amiss, they're in touch with you
with a text, or an email or a call. I've

(31:41):
been the recipient of these. They're very helpful. I've been
a LifeLock customer myself for gosh five six years now.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Welcome back into Clay an Buck I gotta talk a
lot today because Play is visiting colleges with his son,
a very exciting time in his life. He'll be back
with us tomorrow, of course. But Crockett Coffee keeps me
fueled and going back. In fact, I got a Crockett
T shirt on here. Oh there, you can see it
if you're watching us on the VIP livestream. Go to

(32:48):
Crocket Coffee dot com. Please subscribe. Why the coffee is
absolutely delicious. We're building a company really at your building. Actually,
this is a company that all of you are building
by becoming our subscribers. We're gonna have more and more
products coming out. We're gonna be doing you know, apparel
and gear and all kinds of awesome stuff. Uh. And
we give ten percent of the profits to if you

(33:08):
know about businesses, you know about margins, you know, you
know if you sell something for ten dollars, you might
only make two dollars on it, right, So we give
ten percent of the profits to a Tunnel to Towers foundation.
So we're doing good with that money as well. I
wish I could say if you sell ten dollars a coffee,
you make ten dollars. No, you a lot of businesses.
You know, maybe you have like a twenty percent, thirty

(33:31):
percent margin if it's good. Summer restaurant margins can be
like five percent less than that. Apparel margins very very
go go over watch you know, shark Tank. And someone's like,
I have a you know, a new T shirt business
I'm want to launch. They're like, you're you know, your
margin is gonna be like two percent. You're never gonna
make any money anyway. So you are building this great
coffee company though, Crockotcoffee dot com, and uh yeah, we're

(33:52):
gonna be selling the mugs soon too. Look at that
cool logo. It's amazing. Let's take some of your calls.
Mark in Savannah, I always say this one of my
favorite cities in America. What's going on? Mark?

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Hey guy, I think Biden's definitely gonna drop out. I
think if Trump.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Holds his cool, Biden's gonna lose the you know, the debate.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
I don't think there's any doubt about it.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
And I noticed Bill.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
O'Reilly is starting to push now Hillary to take his place.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
All right, Well, let me first of all, Mark, thank
you for calling in. Let me address everything you've said.
It's you know, you see it one way. I see
it a little differently, which is fine. We don't know.
Right when we're making predictions. Everyone's opinions are are at
least somewhat valid. Some are more val than others, maybe,
but somewhat valid. We'll have Uncle Bill on to talk
about this, I think, Team, why don't we reach out

(34:44):
to Uncle Bill? When Clay gets back, we'll have him
on and we'll talk to him about this, because I
do think it's interesting. The Hillary replacement to me, is
a far more likely scenario, even though it's incredibly unlikely.
That makes sense. I think it's not going to happen.
I think you're at a one percent chance of a
replacement of a candidate here where it's not Joe and

(35:05):
it's not Kamala. However, Hillary instead of Michelle Obama. That's
a much easier case to be made to me. If
you're talking about the effectively impossible switch, which I think
you know, switch move they're gonna make, which I don't
believe is gonna happen. I'm also gonna tell you this
and mark it down if you know. If I'm wrong,
I'll always come down and tell you I'm wrong. But

(35:25):
like how often am I wrong team. Let's really think
about this one. Joe is going to perform well enough
on that debate stage that everyone who's a Democrat is
going to say, see, he's great. He's still got his fastball.
His ball that is throwing is fast. Why don't you
think his fastball. That's what they're gonna say. They're gonna
be like a little hysterical about it, but that's what

(35:46):
they're going to say. By the way, we got an
episode of Uncle Bill in our podcast feed today. A
great time to tell you. Bill A. Riley's show is
in the Clay and Buck feed today and so we're
just sort of spreading the love, sharing the news of
what Bill's doing. So go check that one out. A
couple of things coming. One of my oldest and closest

(36:06):
friends has written a phenomenal World War two book that'll
be the third hour of the program. My friend Nathan Connestero.
We'll tell you some old stories back in the day. Yes,
we know each other from the government day, and he'll
be with us. The Mighty Move is his book that's
in the third hour. But I really hope you'll stick
around or join us for that one because I read it,

(36:27):
and it's just a great memoir of the Pacific theater
from the perspective of a carrier aircraft care. We'll discuss that,
but also coming up here you have to hear what
DHS Secretary of may Orcus is saying about the border
and what they're doing to set up ease of illegal
entry from foreign countries. Basically, i'll explain it's a little

(36:50):
more detailed than that, but you'll see

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
