the Boys. This is episode three, one hundred and thirty seven.
As always, we are presented by the greatest sportsbook at
all of America, and that is Fandle. This Saturday, July nineteenth,
that's going down in New Orleans, and usually Will Compton
and I we stay together, we stay together, but not
(02:27):
this time. This time we're a house divided, aren't we.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
The The app is going to have a Team Taylor
and Team Will on the Poorier Holloway fight. If you
click Team Will either one. Whoever you click on, you're
going to get a fifty percent profit boost on that fight.
I'm with Poorier, I'll Max.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Holloway Maxel and I will say this for those of
you feel like this is gonna be like the Bust
and Bull, It's not. You can't go wrong with two
of these fighters in the main event, both outstanding individuals.
The reason why I took Halloway is you go back
to the Gaegee fight. He's uh, he ran that entire
fight and still had the nats to stand there in
(03:07):
the middle of the octagon, point out it for the
last twelve and a half seconds and then knock his
bitch ass out. No dish. I'm actually I did. I did,
but I was I was getting excited. I was getting
excited because the episode three three seven boys back. I
just got back from Canada. I'm feeling free right now.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
You're all over the place.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Bro. Yeah, I've been in a lot of spots. Wait, uh, yep, Ope,
Fandel is offering a fifty percent profit boost token uh
and then we'll go down and say, yep we hit that.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
All right, all goes down This Saturday, I did the
Fandel now claim your fifty percent profit boost on UFC
three eighteen.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
And this is Poier's last fight. This is it the
last one. His homesteaf I be elected for And who
I want. I'm like, I'm thinking, you kind of want
you want to go out well, you want to go
out well farewell fight?
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah, yep, yeah, respect both fighters though respecting to be fun.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Should never call get you a bitch ass too. That
was not cool. That was not cool in there, And
part of me feels like he's gonna see it, and
I gotta look, you know, behind myself at all times.
Many I was just kidding. I was just kidding. I
was just having a fun time on the show.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
What was it like celebrating America on foreign soil in Canada?
Speaker 1 (04:23):
I saw your dad, So.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I didn't say what it was it like, I just said, what.
Speaker 6 (04:28):
Did I say?
Speaker 1 (04:29):
I said, it's absolutely sickening that you were in Canada?
On America's birthday, two right one away from the big
two fifty for let's give America ren aplause for America now.
I will say all of my wife's family listens to
the show. Her dad every week text me about the show.
(04:49):
So I always have to tread lightly when I talk
about our beautiful brothers up north. I have to tread
lightly of what I what I'm going to say. But
was I looking for my my spot for the future
fifty first state? Yes, I was checking it out. I
know maybe, Hey, that currency that exchange right now is
pretty good. Let me get a property up there and
then we'll switch that thing over the fifty first and
(05:10):
then your boy, you know, I'm making a nice little investment. Also,
my daughter's birthday was in the Filiskip round A plus
for win. She turned eight. We went camping and although
I was in Canada, I spent my daughter's birthday on
a boat with the tunes playing and eagles, bald eagles
in the air. My wife took photos which I will
(05:31):
send to you, Shirm, so you can put it on
for this episode for everybody to see, so it'll be
very beautiful, very American. It was a very American birthday
in Canada.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Do you guys get something?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
I don't like this. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
No.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
I already feel bad because I know Chuck Chuck Gallagher
is watching this. Go on, this son of a bitch
right now.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
The guys jock like fireworks, Like does that take place?
Speaker 1 (05:57):
No, there's a fireband many he No, No, I don't
like any fireworks.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Wake up in the morning.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I did announce to everybody at the campsite that it
was America's birthday. I did play courtesy the Red, White
and Blue by Tobey Keith. I had Toby Keith playing
throughout the entire day. And I let my daughters know
we might be in Canada, but you are one American.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
What they say, you know, they like.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Right now, they're in the phase of one of them
will take mommy side, then we'll take daddy's side. And uh,
at that point they I was a little rough on
than the night before for bedtime, so they took mommy side,
both of them.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
So that's tough.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
That was tough. It's been tough. I think we just grilled.
I don't know whatever Miss Tanna made. She grilled from
chicken little something. It wasn't your traditional Fourth of July JP,
if that's what you're searching for. They wouldn't baked beans,
you know. But I did have some chicken. Did you
grow meat? Huh?
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Did you grow some red meat and say this is
grass fed beef from American soil?
Speaker 1 (06:58):
No? No, I see what's happening here. Got a full
bus today? Huh? No, No, we're just twenty four hour fastning.
I want to catch you while I'm down right now.
Jack too, he celebrated outside the country. He did. He
did celebrate outside the country when it's the first thing
he did when he got back, though, was put up
a flagpole, correct, And that's beautiful. What's that? You have
(07:22):
a home in Canada? Brother? We say an apartment there?
Did you? Don't don't even read that. Don't even read
what Shrum's bitch ass just put on.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
I wasn't gonna I wasn't gonna ask the question did
he have t and crumpets? I was going to say,
did you happen to pack like an American flag? And
then when it's the fourth you just start waving it
you know I'm not and go to each each cat
you see and just softly whispered them in their ear. Hey,
you got potential there, and they just say, what are
you talking about? You're like to be an American.
Speaker 6 (07:55):
Here's the idea.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
When you guys are fifty first, you got a lot
of great potential.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
I will say, I feel like Canada's pretty split on
the fifty first thing.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Oh you you were.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
You're pulling around every Canadian I talked to you, and
they figure I'm American. There's always like a what's it? Like, Hey,
how do you feel about the fifty first thing? A
lot of them are like fuck him. The other other
people are like, yeah, let's do it. Let's get like
Taylor's family is fifty to fifty.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
You put out your hand in shake, pull him in.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Will tight.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
That's what I do.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I'm not a big planner. Well you know that I'm
not a planner. I uh. I did probably the most
American thing you can do. I went out to Vegas
right before the fourth of July. I was a capitalist.
I took the casino's money and I dipped all right.
I crossed the border so they couldn't find me, and
(08:45):
I bent the need of my wife and hung out
with her in Canada. Because what any good man does do.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
They have any celebration during the during July.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yeah, they got like Canada Day. What day is that
July first?
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Uh that's uh, that's in July first.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
I don't know what they're celebrating though, But what do
they do? Like we're still I believe there's still like
under the crown, under the thumb of the crown, there's
still like uh a sister country to the UK.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
M hmmm. So what do they have to celebrate on July?
I guess Canada to day? But do they do anything.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Like America celebrates America? Right, we go and hey, this
is our day. We're independent, We're now independent, We're by ourselves.
Kenda is like just kind of living in the basement
being like, yeah, I'm an adult now, so I'm gonna
i have my own name. You know what's happening. But
what's happening here? I'm being nasty. I'm being nasty because
of you. Whoa, whoa, because you start, you start the
(09:44):
episode about this, and then I finished talking and you
go back to asking me a questions. Well I'm curious,
I'm going there next week, my net. I'm a little
backed up right now, And it's not your fault. I
wasn't ready. I wasn't prepared. When I just got off
a flight, we were we talking abou out what's going on.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Here's what I'm curious is like on Canada Day, do
they have like traditions that are taking place on I.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Didn't see one. I didn't see one. Yeah, there's just
Canada Day. Like on Canada Day, I was in Calgary,
which is like the probably the more most patriotic profits
they have, and I didn't see a whole lot going on.
I didn't see any fireworks. I saw a couple of flags,
but nothing that really screamed to me patriotism.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
Yeah, I'm excited to get out there next week.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yeah, what were you headed to? Nice? You're gonna love it,
Lake Louise, Lake Louise, I love it, dude. It's awesome.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
We're gonna tour around. I don't know the spots, but
all the photos I see it looks.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Just after screens after screensaver. The beauty of that side
of the country is really all I know. Is is
really second and none. You can't beat that. That's a
hard view to beat.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Right there.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
You're seeing Are you seeing that hotel that's right on
that lake?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
I believe.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
So it's like the little Castle.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
I hope. I don't know if it's the castle.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
I think it is the Castle.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
I remember when we were at the Cardinal game and
we were talking to uh, Mitch, shout out the boy, Mitch,
but he was like, oh, you're staying on this hotel
like it's the it's the spot.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What is it fucking place called?
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Right? Yeah? Oh, Nicholas Hallett.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Oh, nikky baby, bringing the kids.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Yeah, we'll be out there all the kiddhs. He's already.
Even when I was back on for the fourth he
pulled me aside. He's like, hey, either of us getting
a little dust up with the kids, we gotta be allies.
If you see me, if you see me starting to
lose composure, I need you to just come you step in.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Nick said that to you. Yeah, that is a heads up, dad,
play Yeah, very heady dad, wow, Because a lot of
time you see somebody else's kid losing their ship and
you're in a little trip with them, kind of just
back up right, Yeah he starts losing and you're kind
of laying back like that's pretty crazy. That's good to you,
and say that that's awesome. Yeah, yeah, that's this dude.
(11:57):
We stayed there one year. It's beautiful. I don't know
if that's a spot that's where you're staying, that's where
you're saying. I think that's like there's like that and
Motil eights and bamf. I think that's the that's the
only place you can really stand. He hit the gondol
up the mountain, have a little dinner up there. You
see a lot of bears. So I haven't seen a bear, dude.
(12:20):
But when I was camping every time, every night when
we'd finish, like cleaning up and stuff like that, Miss
Tanna was very clear like you need to go take
that to the trash and go put that somewhere else
because the bears will come. But I've never seen a bear,
but everyone's very aware that bears are a fucked.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Nick joined a Facebook group that they just talk about
their experiences with bears, and he's like, we're gonna see
some bears. There's a lot of them. Got to watch
our back, dude.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
I think Nick might be top five du Just the
preparation of this guy to you need those man, you
need warriors around you. I have not seen a bear
I love to see a bear from a distance in
a safe area, but I would love to get my
eyes a bear.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Yeah, or cougar. I love that that pool right there,
Bam pass tea and crumpets be What are crumpets?
Speaker 1 (13:09):
I think it's like dry like pastries, like pastries that
you sit out for like forty eight hours in your
mouth gets and then you use the tea to wash
it down. I'll tell you what I was in Victoria
Island one time. Victoria Island just off you take a
little ferry from uh Vancouver, and there's this nice hilaria
and there's a place of like a castle, s kind
(13:31):
of a spot that I had tea and crumpets at
very nice. Okay, crumpets, you know, tea. But the experience
itself is really.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
What it's like in movies or shows when it's like
a detective comes up and come on in. They'll make
you some tea. I feel like tea is a vibe,
but I've just never been a tea guy.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Put a little milk or something. The idea of having
having high tea with somebody sounds like a nice time.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Yeah are these? Yeah? Yeah? Nothing?
Speaker 1 (13:59):
It was a stupid hey, no, no dumb questions in Canada. Uh,
I've no. I think Taylor's been camping, dude. I was
camping and then I was back. I was camping, and
then I went back to my mother in law's apartment.
When I go to Canada, I stay in my mother
in law's apartment. It's like sixteen hundred square feet and
(14:20):
it's ma tailing both of our kids and her mom's
two bedrooms. We just were basically camping the whole time.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
I saw the video where you're like doing were you
working on a roof?
Speaker 1 (14:30):
I wasn't doing shit.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
You're just you're just hanging.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Yeah, that was Quinn's. That was Quinn's roof, okay, and
you're just there for the support. I was there to
hang and this guy named Jesse was doing the roof
and I just wanted to stand on the roof.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
Got you.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
But it took a night. It was a nice little view.
So I said, let me get this video a little something,
little something up there by the way. Bit big moves
with Quinn this this trip, Yeah, big moves. You know
how I feel about Quinn And he went camping. I
wasn't fired about him coming camping, and at the end
of camping. I look at Taylor and I go, god,
damn it. I really enjoyed my time with Quinn and
(15:04):
then to talk to me about I'm not ready, We're
not ready, and then I hit him up. I was like,
all right, we're back, We're back, and then sell me again.
He's like, hey, we're boys now. He's like yeah, but
don't say it out loud. It's like, okay. We kind
of hooked up and was like, hey, you talking to
so and so. It's like, you know, she's tight, she's cool,
but she's not. So we're kind of in that part
right now. But I don't want to be Facebook official yet,
right I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with Quinn though, so
(15:28):
overall it was a nice it was It's been a
nice trip. I go back in two days, so I'll
be back up there ripping.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
We missed ship at UFC fight night.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Dude, how awesome was that?
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Dude? It was sick man.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
The video of what's his name pulling his pants down,
then all the boys. I was I had bad this
morning when I woke up and saw that, Like.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Damn, did you did you happen to stay up and
watch that fight? No, I went to sleep sleep Derek Lewis,
you know, he's like a fan favorite. I thought the
fight would stop too soon, like they should have let
it keep going.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
I saw that the post. Also, Yeah, after it happened, I'm.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Like looking because I'm like, you know, I had some
money on the other cat, the big Brazilian, because Clay
was like, Brazilian is gonna knock him out.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
In the first row, Clay, he's dishing out some more
UFC advice. Yeah, Clay was there. Clay was there. We
invited him.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
But he's like a uh my brother. He got it
hooked up with a different with a different section in
a suite like behind us, and he saw us once
he saw us go in those first two rows, He's like, oh,
why don't you suck won't you suck up one hundred
data somewhere with those seats.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
He's like, he.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Goes always comes. I'm just jealous. I'm just jealous. I
like look back and he's like waving, I'm flipping them off.
That is awesome. But so I'm like losing my mind
because the Brazilian gets up like he you know, Derek Lewis,
he pings him, he binks and he falls down. It
looks like it was gonna be over, but he wasn't
finishing him. And the big Brazilian he's like getting up
(16:57):
and he's like still with it. They end up stopping
the fight call the short. I'm like losing my mind.
I'm looking over at a Hunter and like.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Hey, that's bullshit, that's bullshit. I see Dana like one's
going nuts. Yeah, dude, was there? Okay, every UFC fight
I go.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
To, it's quiet.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
At one point I hear Steve will do it, go
don't fuck up my parlne screaming, screaming. I know that
was Will Compton.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
You'd hear guys during uh, during a couple of fights
do something. Everybody's around laughing, but everyone's losing the mind.
It's great for the sport. When that Derek Lewis has
came back in, he binks somebody and he's like, you
know he's known for his post fight shenanigans. He's like
he's he's fake pissing on his corner, on the opponent's corner,
(17:45):
like a dog pisses on him, takes off his pants,
he's just in his boxers. He's thrown out his gloves.
To the crowd everywhere. He's throwing his shorts, takes out
his cup, throws his cup, and he's like pointing, pointing
down checks like show your dude. But he comes over
and obviously he moves the crowd and everyone's just losing
it because he's just so just mooning the crowd like
(18:08):
it was right at y'all and wonder Boy Wonder Boy
fights questionable question.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
I know I did see. I think I saw your
tweet JP, so I went and searched, and I just
saw that everyone thinks he should have won.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Yeah, people were like, you know, there's a lot of
people in the comments saying like it's like a control
and damage matter and this and that. I don't know.
I thought wonder Boy did enough and put on a
hell of a show to like win the fight. But
after the second round, wonder Boy, you know, probably loses
the first round, I think, and then the second round.
I mean, he's he's banging this dude up, like at
(18:42):
the end he could have possibly finished him, like if
there's probably ten fifteen more seconds left really and him
on the ground or what he was he was on
the ground and he was like wobbling with everybody's like,
you know, go go, go, like finish him, and he
has the whole crowd because wonder Boy's like a fan favorite,
so everybody's like chaing us A and wonder Boy like
all this stuff. And the round ends and he's like
(19:04):
walking back and he like noticed the crew sitting there,
like either when he got in the ring or right
before the fight started. But he's like walking back over
after the second round and we're all staying up, let's go,
and he looks at JP and gives him a wink.
Speaker 8 (19:18):
Fucking I was trying to think too, between that and
Mike's moment with the point because it's hometown.
Speaker 7 (19:23):
I gotta go with the with the wink.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
At your wedding like he's.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
A bro dude. The fact that he's in the middle
of a fight too, Like right, if we're gonna really
split hairs here, Mike's before the fight, he looks at
you and gives you the wing.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
He's coming off of a juicy round and it's not
like everybody saying no, we just taking the bar ourselves,
like let's go, because he's walking straight at us. That's
where then is He like looks at JP and gives
a wink and.
Speaker 8 (19:47):
Were just there was the top five. Oh yeah, come on,
come on eight six four. You just know that you
could it could be one hundred thousand people in the crowd.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
He winks.
Speaker 7 (19:56):
You can tell it's coming.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Everyone's like he's winking at you. Everybody.
Speaker 8 (20:01):
Coach Bontello is going crazy. Yeah, he was there, Life
and Life. Will probably was that moment.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
An awesome crew in Nashville. It was everybody in Nashville there.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
And sitting sitting right next to uh Luke Combs.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Oh yeah, would you do you say? What's up to Luke?
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Yeah? Oh yeah, the homie. Yeah, I'm bro. We gotta
get you on the bus.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
He got yeah, he I can't wait to hear some
high school stories for you.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yeah. A lot of Titans players were there. Jack was
fired up where he was sitting.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
So how was the seating arrangement? Looked like you has
were all together in those first couple of rows.
Speaker 9 (20:38):
Yeah, it was Will Charrows sitting JP and then me,
Garrett Atlantis and my buddy Tyler.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
You can tell Jack got after it at the fight.
Yea was just like Jack, Oh for real, oh bro mannerisms.
Everything that was like in the elevator. He says something,
just kisses his fingers and points points this guy, and
I was like, this dude is Jack two point.
Speaker 6 (21:01):
U.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah, I haven't lost my boy a year and a half.
Speaker 9 (21:05):
But when Derek Cluis showed his ass, I literally I
couldn't help myself. He's really he's doing it for everyone.
He's trying to bring Mooning back. But Will Levis was
sitting like directly behind me, and I'm filming it and
it was like he really did moon our section. And
when I was filming it, it was so perfectly framed
(21:26):
that Will just grabs my shoulders.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
She's like, let's go, let's fucking go. Maybe maybe it
Will is cool. I don't know Will so much on
one individual. Dude, Will is a good dude.
Speaker 9 (21:41):
All it was like him, Chig and Jason, but they
were they were cracking us up, just like saying ridiculous
ship the whole fight, and like just it just looks
like kids, just like yeah, because dude, the fact that
Wonderfully is forty two years old.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Bridgetone showed out like all Nashville was there. It was
packed all the way up to the rafters.
Speaker 7 (22:12):
Slept on moment two with Derek. He sold out right
sold out.
Speaker 8 (22:15):
Yeah, but bringing his wife, the fact that she's in
the octagon is hilarious. Crazy, and then him getting the
call from Trump.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yeah, USA, and that so was that DC being like,
who do you want next? He was like, well, it's
been two weeks a.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Lot of ground, that ground and bound.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Dude. He is so funny to that fight, Like my
whole algorithm was just all about him.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Yeah, and what they say to like when he was like,
why did you taunt or like piss Yeah, and He's like,
I mean I don't know what they're saying, but I
know they've been talking.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
He was like, that's so I don't know what they're saying.
Speaker 7 (22:54):
And then Nate the Train, the Nashville's own Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Bro, that was that was so fun of me. He
got banked.
Speaker 7 (23:02):
But this dude, what's his last name, like land Wher
or something.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Yeah, Nate the train there. You know, before the fight,
JP's like this dude is a psychopath. Tony V's like, hey,
this dude's crazy. He's like a hometown guy. He's from Clarksville. Yeah, Nate,
He's how long is he.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Okay? All right?
Speaker 3 (23:19):
And uh, he's going to getst this young French cat.
The French cat was good, but Nate like has his
moments like he's just kind of standing in the batter's box.
He'll get banked and it's like his head doesn't move
and his head just stays there to get swing again.
But all of Bridgestone is like d see and then
the USA chance Tennessee because the dude's from France, and bro,
(23:40):
he was such an entertainer. Like afterwards, like the fight
kind of stops for a second, He's like what the fuck,
and Nate tries to start talking to him. Then he
goes to the crowd and he's like hyping all round.
Everyone's just yes, bro, everyone's getting juiced. He goes to
the uh, he goes to the corner. He's getting the
crowd hyped up again going into the third round, and
I want to say he was like taunting him in
the middle of the third dude.
Speaker 8 (24:00):
Yeah, well, right when the third round starts, he just
full charges at the dude overhand whiffs with because he's
like getting the crowd pumped and everybody's just screaming for it.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
And then he starts getting pieced Oh he's still getting
pieced up.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Yeah, it was damn. I think until the end hearing
are talking about I think I'm watching it. It was electric.
Speaker 8 (24:28):
The whole night was just great vibe fights, Like, even
though things didn't go how we wanted him to, every
single fight delivered.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
But this dude being being the hometown kid, everybody was
juice and he like, you know, it was a close fight,
and the dude, the French dude was tattooing him in
the side of the leg in the first round, like
down here on his calf, and you could see everything
welting up like massively.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
It was real time.
Speaker 7 (24:50):
Oh yeah, you see, dude, that cut that down to
the bone, he said.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
On his Instagram.
Speaker 8 (24:58):
And he was still throwing kicks with it still. He's
as savage forty two years old.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
You think you feel it when you're in the middle
of a fight.
Speaker 7 (25:04):
You can't, right, no way, in bro way.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
All I know is Nate's waking up today and that
leg is got to be killing him. I mean, it
was welding number when the first round, that's how quick
it will start to swell.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
It's crazy stuff. It's like, oh my god, these fighters
fight the way they do and then every whenever you
see them after the fight in the locker room area.
They're always on crutches always, and we will.
Speaker 7 (25:28):
Struggles with a dap up from Paul swan one.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
No talk about how I get injured.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
The injury.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
Yeah, that's crazy, just from my dad about getting answer.
Speaker 8 (25:38):
I'm like, fuck the wrist is They're built so different, dude,
Look at that.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
It's been a few weeks.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
My back is making a lot of them.
Speaker 10 (25:47):
Really.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Yeah, I've just done having had a couple O Listen,
I've been. I'm not gonna too my own horn, but
i've been. I've been dialed for the last couple of weeks.
Have you I've been dialed for the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
I haven't done shit, got some I.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
Got my food regimented. Oh yeah, yeah, I've been dialed
on my workouts except for a couple of days. Except
for a couple of days. Those days come after staying
up too late playing PUBG.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Talk to me about PUBG because I did just fly
in and we're doing this thing in the next couple
of days. I don't know if we can talk about
what we're doing the next couple of days. But I'm
home alone and I love the goon with my boys.
I love the goon with my boys. I know one
of our boys has a new baby. Congratulations, surem, but
(26:36):
what's that sleep schedule?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Like sum brings the juice, He's always ready to go.
He hit me up last Friday. Wasn't expecting it and
he said he was talking about, Hey, can we go
over some of the performance review stuff? And I was like,
he's like, you know around like you know before better
or something like that. I'm thinking, what, like we got
to do this on a Friday night and he's like,
(26:58):
you know, whether it's nine, nine thirty, whatever works for you.
And I'm like, well, what do you want to go over?
And he was like, I want to go over what
George Bull's talking about, which is a spot on the
map where you land and he starts giving some jargon
about puff g. I started laughing, like, oh, you're getting
that itch. You want to played it? And I was like,
I can play tonight. It's like I want to stay
up late though, because I stayed up late on was
(27:19):
it Wednesday, Tuesday? Wednesday one of those week yeah or
one of the yeah, one of those days. And we
stayed up till one and I woke up the next morning,
pissed off at myself because we stayed up till one
because you know, it's like you're you know, Shermsey. He
doesn't know what day it is, he doesn't know what
time it is, like the dude just they're operating and.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
He's physical here right now, but behind his eyes. Yeah,
I think we all well we have been there.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Yeah, and you know, you know at nighttime too, like
he had like where he's takeing the what eleven pm
and two am feedings?
Speaker 11 (27:49):
Yeah, yeah, I'm usually in bed by like three thirty four.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yeah, and he's like rocked up, ready to go at
like the latest part of the night. Yeah. And so
we're playing a little bit. Sherman's up getting on. We're juice.
So we up later than we should.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Later you should in the middle of the week on
the school not me though, not me.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
The problem is, and I don't want to point the
finger at a two or three week year old, but
she fucks up the vibe in the middle of the
storm coming Scarlett, sooner hold it on her, let her know.
Speaker 11 (28:23):
That he's working, and we do. We have great talks,
and I hold her up, I you know, get her
close to the screen. I'm kind of telling her, Hey,
we're gonna get on with uncle Will. This is what
we're doing. Yeah, we're putting leading people's faces.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
So you've got to be a good girl.
Speaker 11 (28:35):
We're gonna at the screen, right at the screen because
they can't see too far.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Yeah, that's away from the screen, so they can see
everything that's going on exactly.
Speaker 11 (28:45):
But uh, the the tactic right now is when is
a changing or a feed time, and we happen to
be mid game, I will drop in the very middle
of the map. Guess that the circle is going to
generate in the middle of the map, lay down behind
a rock, and then I'm off to the races. I
go change, I go feed. I'm back in like fifteen twenty.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
He's dead. No, I'm a lot. No, you die in
the storm falls. We died that match.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
On Friday.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Hold on, just real quick, I just got it.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
I got it.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Tast get real quick, real quick.
Speaker 11 (29:21):
Shout out for a minute.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
On those late nights. What are you drinking to stay up?
Form energy? Well, guess what form Jury delivers best in
class case with natural flavors and zero sugar.
Speaker 6 (29:29):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Form Energy has natural caffeine derived from green Tea form
comes a variety of flavors, Screaming Freedom, Grape smashed, Blue Blitz,
and orange furry Perrick. For those who put the work
in form Energy, we do the work form Energy. By
the way, fucks nice, It fucks dude. Yes, it is delicious, nutritious.
(29:50):
It's fun to be around. You take a little bit
you put in there, you're having a hard day, You're
back up, you feel a whole lot better.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Oh yeah, whatever flavor it is, I'm thinking grape and
orange right now. Like that. It's great soda joints. It's
taste phenomen Blue.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Boy at the Blue One, I kind of like that.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Very branding's obviously sick. Yeah you got Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
The Screaming Eagle is the best branding by far, but
the Blue Blitz might be my favorite. On the taste Blitz.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Form Energy Fox Now on Friday, when he hits me up,
I'm like, you know, we char and I had already
watched Stick are the most recent episode of Stick Love
Stick by the way, if you're if you have Apple
Plus or Apple TV, Stick is a great show.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
I've never met a human being who has. You're literally
a Monday through Sunday guy with a TV show. What's
on tonight?
Speaker 3 (30:37):
We've gotten through. Department Q is phenomenal. Okay, Department Q
is amazing. I'm in a mistake. What do you say
about old Department QUE? And we're up to date on
Stick So we watched one episode a week. The only
downside is like twenty to thirty minutes long. Wow.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
So we had already we live such opposite lives right now, dude,
we live such opposite lives.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
So on Friday we kind of had an open evening
because we knew we had date coming on Saturday. And
what I was thinking funny enough on shows. I was
gonna go upstairs and watch is it Landman? Yeah? Landman?
I watched the first episode of that. I think I'd
be into Landman. By the way. I love the callbacks
with Billy Bob Thornton, just being being in Landman and
(31:17):
being in a yeah, being in Friday at lights. But
it's uh Permian Perman. Yeah, yeah, being in the town
city of Permian because he was the head coach.
Speaker 11 (31:30):
Yeah Permian.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Yeah, he's in Odessa, Texas. I just I love the
full connecting with Billy Bob Thornton. However, I was gonna
go upstairs and rip a couple episodes, because that's one
where it's like more stress. It's like Yellowstone but with
Texas Oil. Charles not as much into that, so that's
like a me show. So I was gonna go up
and do that. I get that call from Sherman, the
performance review thing. That was probably around eight thirty, and
I asked sure him. I'm like, hey, listen, it sounds
(31:54):
like you're ready to operate. I'm ready to operate too.
You get in an early night, get in a couple
good hours. He seemed down down bro. Yeah. An hour later,
I'm like, hey, bro, when you when you get on.
I turn on the game and I'm I'm just playing
by myself. I'm playing like fours by myself. Jared couldn't.
He was getting ready for brunch that the boys had.
Jared hosted a brunch on Saturday. And see that.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
I saw that Jared's house. Fucks. I saw that picture. Jay,
that's fucking the boys.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Had a brunch with the gun. You get that?
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Where do you get that?
Speaker 3 (32:27):
And so Jared's like, you know, it's it's not a
zero percent chance that I'll get on, but I might
be able to get on later. So it's just me playing.
I'm braining on my coopies. You can't trust Cooper, can't
trust coop get on. So I'm like take a breath,
and I'm like, all right, I can play the game.
It's gonna be a thirty forty five play a couple hours.
Don't want the same situation I did the other night.
Now nine thirty yearrolls around. I shoot Sherman text like
(32:49):
a are are you getting on? Like I've just been
playing by myself. Shriman gets on. I'm sol feeling. I'm sorry.
I've been doing X, Y and Z. I'll be on
in ten minutes. Twenty five minutes, goes by, play another game.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Take Street, click tee. Shrimp s it'd sorry, yeah, yeah,
two months ago. He wasn't gonna say sorry anymore. Hold on,
you said you weren't gonna say sorry anymore. I'm sorry.
You said you actually said a text like twenty minutes ago.
So my apologies about the ad rates damn it.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
And shrim gets on and you know you hear little
Scarlett in the background. He's got to do a couple
of things. He's not really there on the game. I'm
basically playing by myself for two hours and then I
get to where I'm like, hey, I might have one more.
We drop out, we get killed, we get slaughtered. So
I'm like, all right, I can't go out like that.
I gotta do one more.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Yes, it's coming around what ten o'clock or wait, eleven o'clock.
So I'm like, this is.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
My last one, no qualms about it. I'm playing, we're
playing the last game. We're vibing. I'm like, hey, I
need you to do something like you You've been fucking
nonexistent this entire night, and I have a bad vibe
going on in my brain at this point.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Yeah, you're looking at Sherman in a bad light when
you close your eyes and you think about that. Yes, yes, okay.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
And so we're in this last game around eleven pm.
Who gets on discord you're a demon?
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Oh can't get off now?
Speaker 3 (34:02):
And Sureham just starts laughing, and I'm like, god Dune.
He's like, if you guys are going to get off, like,
we can just get off. I was like, I'll play
one more. One turns into six. It's I think we
got off around midnight, twelve thirty. Again, what text you?
She's like, hey, we got her any morning, you better
(34:23):
get downstairs. At some point, I'm like, I'm coming, I'm coming.
We play another game, gets slaughtered. I go in the bedroom.
Roue sleeping in the bed. I get in, I like,
take my mouth shut. Roue kind of like wakes up,
looks over. I mean she goes Dad's funny, then goes
back to sleep. But wake up the next morning and
it's just you're you know, you got a little zombie mentality.
And again it's just like we're playing, but we're not
(34:44):
playing right, And.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Better come with some last yes camaraderie, some.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Good time with the chicken dinner.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Yeah, got l if you're gonna say that late gott
eat and Shurem's a good player. He just hasn't He
just he's been non existent.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
Man.
Speaker 11 (35:01):
Yeah, a lot of distractions going on. I need to
I need to focus more on the game.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Truly, he does, Truly, I told him, aton't. I put
Scarlett on the headset like, I've got to talk to
her because she is bullshitting right now.
Speaker 11 (35:13):
She she'll do the same where she's starts moving around here,
we go, what's that about.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
It's a whole thing.
Speaker 11 (35:20):
They do it like every three hours, but we're getting
it taken care of. I'm gonna lock in more to
the video game. I can promise you that one.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
So we would be excited to play. I would like
to play.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
So yeah, we're It's not like the greatest vibe when
PUBG pops in my mind. Got you.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
But let's just hypothetically speaking Sunday, like a day like today. Right,
your boy just got off a plane. We're all excited
to see each other. Big hugs, big davs, big bear hugs.
Happen your word's not mine. We go home. You're gonna
drop me home after this because I don't want to
uber right, because we're besties.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
It possibly depends on what time it is.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Okay, I'm gonna be but yeah, but yeah, yeah, but
then we're gonna and.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Then maybe right now on a Sunday.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Maybe we get I get home, I eat, I don't
eat it. Who knows if this fast is gonna keep up?
And then you got we text and maybe we play
one dinner, go to bed, big day. Tomorrow, could you
some laughs?
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Could you some sleep? Could you some laughs?
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Then sleep because tomorrow, dude, you know, tomorrow we're gonna thrive.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
But it's two days in a row, and.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
People people it is, but it's gonna be a day
and a half. Are we allowed to talk about what
we're doing. Yes, we know what we're doing.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Can I say national commercial? Sure, we're doing a national commercial.
We're doing a national commercial for the next two days.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Let's say Fandel. We're doing a national commercial for Fandel.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
Yeah. The concept is awesome productions like in a movie,
Like we're gonna be operating all day. We are gonna
need our z's. Here is where I'm optimistic. Okay, because
you're solo dolo, you can play as early as you
can play, right, And usually it's like for whatever reason,
Jared Demon he's got a couple, he's got a pup
at home. It operates like he operates with the kid.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
He's like, I'm probably geting around nine thirty. I'm like
nine thirty, bro.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
When we're in Vegas, somehow dogs came up. I'm playing cards.
I'm a little stressed out. I look over. He's showing
a random guy photos. This is when we got him
right here, all this, but he's not in the bed,
but she lets him on the bed. I know he's
sleeping on the bed right now. He's just showing photos. Oh,
I'm like, Jared camera, what are we doing? What are
we doing out here? Yeah, but Jared's gotta he's that's
(37:37):
Bill Burr has a joke about.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
That, right.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
He talks about people who have dogs and don't have kids,
and they say dogs and kids are the same thing.
They're not the fucking same thing. That being said, I
would love to play early tonight. So you're committing to
earlier tonight.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
I'm not committing. It sounds like y'are I'm not committing.
This sounds soft commit.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
I would hate for the viewer to be watching the
show to find out that you didn't play with your friend.
I would hate for that.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
I understand. Okay, I understand. I said I'm optimistic. I
am optimistic.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
What time is bedtime in the Compton household.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Probably in between like seven and eight, depends on what viber'
is on. What depends on that wave of that three
year old right now.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
That's everything that matters. Yeah, when you're are you walking
down the stairs round eight? Are you walking out of
the bedroom at eight or is it more like eight
thirty nine?
Speaker 3 (38:20):
It depends on never nine, but at the latest eight thirty. Okay,
I will say I had both the kiddos last week
and I got them both down in between seven and eight.
It's different.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
It's different with that.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Yeah, you know how it is like you send the
older one, you send a ruin like a mission, like, hey,
I gotta put Scottie to bed. Here's what we need
you to do. You got ten more minutes of your show.
Whenever it turns off. You don't have to tell dadda
the show's over. Don't need it. You don't need to
yell it to me. I trust you. You turn off
the show and you can go upstairs and start putting
your PJS on. She turns off the show after ten
more minutes once it ends.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Which is impressive. My kids would never She's like.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
The show and I'm like, great job, and I'm like,
now you go get your PJS on. She goes and
puts her pull up PJS on all by herself. So
that way, so many steps are done towards just brush
your hair, brush your teeth. We read a book, go
to bed right. And I was walking out at eight
o'clock and I was fired the fuck.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Up that is. That's one of those things, man, where
you just you can't run your night.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Sometimes when you are I'm sure you feel the same way.
When you are solo, you almost execute it a little
bit smoother because it just depends on where Ruth's head's at,
Like if she's wanting to negotiate with me or one
dad or one mom, or she's in there with mama.
Sometimes it's way harder with mama. Put her down to
where she'll keep her up until Charles not walking out
to probably like eight twenty or something like that. Or
she's just being a mess, like say, Charles's doing Scotty
(39:35):
and I'm doing Rue. She just wants to keep going.
I want to say good night Scotti, Like, dude, stay quiet,
go in there, give her hugging a kiss, and get
back over your head. And it's just like a whole
song dance.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
It's a whole thing. Can I give you a little
suggestion if you ever solo dolo again, running that thing,
tell Rue get Rue ready first, all ready for bed,
put her in her bed and be like, honey, it'd
be a good example for your sister. Show her how
good you lay down. I'll be back in your affter
Scott to sleep. Eight times out of ten dude, she's
already asleep eight times at a ten.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
Boys, because it's always smart for the dads out there listening.
It's always smart when you're like, hey, you use the
whole show them how it's done.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Show them how it's done.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
Yes, I got he's up here right now. That's my
number one playbook with you. Right now, Yah, was done.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
I need to show good leadership for your sister.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
You're an example. She's gonna watch you. Whatever you do,
that's what she's gonna mimic right now. If you're if
she if you're screaming, she's gonna start screaming. She's your
age and you're a little bit older, and you're like,
what the hell is going on?
Speaker 1 (40:28):
You showed her how to do that? Was you see that.
She's gonna learn from her sister. What's gonna happen mind.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
Games, manipulation every day.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
So it's all about brother, That's what it's all about.
But sure you're doing good. Great. How are you sleeping?
How's baby sleeping?
Speaker 11 (40:45):
I do I sleep? So she's been doing great. During
the night shift. Night shift is super easy, as you
can tell. I can kind of multitask with the video
games going on. Uh, she's a big eater. She started
out at like one and a half ounces, moved up
to now she's kind of dabbling with two and a half.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Wow.
Speaker 11 (41:02):
Wow Wow, great sleeper. She's shit's like crazy, I gotta
do like multiple wardrobe changes, multiple diaper changes.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
But I'm having fun, dude.
Speaker 11 (41:13):
It was really the only hard part was getting onto
the sleep schedule that.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
I'm on now, if that makes sense.
Speaker 11 (41:19):
Yeah, But now that I'm on it, I'm fully like, Okay,
I'm up till four am. And then on days where
like I'm coming in, uh try and wake up like
eight eight thirty to record.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
But it's doable.
Speaker 11 (41:33):
It's doable with form energy, of course.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
Yeah, always a form energy. Now is Miss Carla working tonight?
Speaker 11 (41:39):
She's not. We did we gotta get Carla. We've had
Carla one time and she's the best. Shout out, no
free shout out Carla.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
Yeah, shout out Miss Carla. She rips, she rips, she's
all time. She's all time. Great dude, congratulations having a
kid once again. Thank you what we got here?
Speaker 3 (42:00):
Go over lines on the games?
Speaker 11 (42:01):
Yeah, like y'all could go over lines for your commercial
tomorrow like tonight, like.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
On you know, on the game.
Speaker 11 (42:07):
That way, you're you're working, you're getting important stuff done.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
I say we have a hard cap at ten thirty,
given that you're walking out, Yeah, for sure, given that
you're walking out of eight. Now if you walk at
eight thirty, you push that to eleven.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
I've had such a conversation with myself, being so disappointed
about these late nights that I've started telling myself, all right,
nine nine, yeah, nine thirty, like get in bed, will
right read? Nine thirty shows off. Everything's off, no matter
(42:43):
what it is. Sweetheart, we got a posit it at
night thirty. We've been wanting to get more sleep, were
getting more sleep, getting more sleep. But I will negotiate
with myself about these thirty.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
We're gonna do ten. Hey you get if you if
I get it takes a seven forty five. Hey, we
did it. We pulled it off the impos possible. We
call it ten. Let's call it ten. But it'll all
be based on that text I get from you, and
I'm trusting you, trusting I just need you to promise
the text.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Okay, hang on, hang on, hang on. I've been much
better texting.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
That that. Listen. I'm not I'm not interested in arguing today,
but I'm interested. Yeah, you've been great, You've been awesome.
You've been awesome, You've been awesome. But I'm trusting you
to text. Yeah, texta go out and when you text,
I'll get on the sticks. I'm gonna go home. As
soon as I go home, I'm gonna i'm gonna update.
(43:39):
I'm gonna move my chair over in the main cave,
put it right in the front because my eyes are
eyes are so bad, and so I'm gonna get real
close to the screen.
Speaker 3 (43:44):
I'm gonna wait.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
Okay, let's sit there.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Here's my promise to you, because I'm just a soft
commit tonight, okay, tonight or tomorrow further, I'm just that's
that's That's where I'm at.
Speaker 7 (43:59):
Is that too?
Speaker 1 (43:59):
So tomorrow, No, not tonight or tomorrow one or the other.
Speaker 7 (44:03):
You will be there tonight.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
I know no one wants to do this. But by
the way, I just say, twenty four hours on my past.
Let me see here, Tuesday's call time is earlier than
Monday's time. Wow, oh wow.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
Yeah, that's okay. Knowing that the hard cap is going
to be ten thirties, like I.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
Didn't commit to that. I committed that tonight.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
I commit that tonight.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
One second. Just gotta check what my flight is. Just
gotta check what my flight is. Back to back to
what's it called?
Speaker 3 (44:33):
You're wanting to throw out Tuesday evening?
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Okay, yeah, I flight at a fifteen am.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
I can make that work on Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
On Wednesday, so Tuesday evening, sleep on the plane, sleep
on the plane vibes. Yeah, but I can give you
ten even on Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
We feel good about that.
Speaker 3 (44:48):
Yeah, I feel like we're in a great spot.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
You don't do it favor pop that roaad. Let's do
a spiny let's do a spicy tear talk dude, you
feel morning? Kind of yeah, kind of yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:05):
The boys are sponsored by Row ro looking to get

row ad, we are going to do a spicy row
tear talk, and the spicy tear talk is going to
be horny as foods.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
To eat on a date on date night, On date night,
booty cheeks, let's get clapping, boys.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
You want to go first?
Speaker 1 (46:09):
A second? You want to go first? A second?
Speaker 3 (46:16):
Last?
Speaker 1 (46:16):
Okay, second, maybe they're always back there have some ideas, Yeah,
feel free to jump in because I gotta. I got
a little. When obviously you think about horny foods, the
only thing that comes to mind is oysters, right, yes,
of course, right, it's the first. So then I had
to like dig in my brain a little bit, looked
up what I literally googled for foods that make you horny,
you know, because I couldn't spell aff dziak and I
(46:37):
was in the uber, and I didn't want to do
the microphone thing where I go after dziak and might
be like, what the fuck is this guy up to?
So for that reason, I was put in foods that
make you horny. Turns out no foods actually make you horny.
There's just other foods that can manipulate other things in
your blah blah blah blah. So I took a different round.
When you're in a date and you're thinking yourself, we're
gonna squish tonight, We're gonna get after a little bit.
I don't why I'm looking g in the eyes right now,
(46:58):
but when we're getting afterways, you don't want to be
too full. So pizza, barbecue, gorging yourself Mexican. You don't
want Mexican steak, even steakhouses don't do it. So my
Tier three is gonna go to something you can eat
a bunch of and in forty five minutes feel like
you're hunger again, and that is sushi.
Speaker 3 (47:20):
Sushi's a quick, easy one.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
You're gonna your stomach's gonna be full by the time
you're on that drive home, You're like, I could have
a snack, and that's a perfect amount of food for
you to get a little something something in the bedroom.
My Tier two is gonna go to oysters. We all
know it is the afrod easy I can have those.
I have a bad taste in my mouth with the
oysters ever since New Orleans when we were there and
we all got food poisoning. It's fantastic. It helps set
(47:43):
the tone. I think when everybody when you're on a
date and both of you have oysters, we all know
what's about to go down. But there's a reason why
it's not my number two. Because we're talking about foods
that make you horny, and what makes you more horny
than my tier one. When your significant other comes home
to a home cooked meal, that is my tier one.
Speaker 3 (48:03):
Tier one's home cooked meal.
Speaker 1 (48:04):
Two ones home cooked meal. Now we know I don't cook,
but for the sake of the tear, talk right, put
that in the veins. Put that in the veins. Come home.
You got an apron on, no shirt underneath chopping some money.
If you did cook a home cooking, I could cook
(48:27):
well what I mean cereal?
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
What I mean if I called Jason be like, hey,
what do I make? I probably make a smash burger? Yeah,
actually I can fucking cook, can't I? I can't just.
Speaker 3 (48:39):
Have you could have Ja Jason make the food and
then you're just like she's walking in, You're pulling it
out of the oven in the apron.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
Yeah, yeah, shadow Jason, who's also in Canada.
Speaker 7 (48:49):
Right now?
Speaker 1 (48:50):
All right, I read when you guys are great, thank you. Yeah,
it's in your it's in your hand.
Speaker 3 (48:59):
You have to go now, horny.
Speaker 12 (49:04):
Hyphenated, sign me up, hungry, hungry, hungry.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
I'm gonna go with fishy. Oh whoa one word.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
That's fine. We'll be able to figure out.
Speaker 3 (49:24):
That gives a bad vibe.
Speaker 1 (49:26):
A yucky boy right there. Wow wow, bro versatile versatile slurp. Oh,
we're all a little uncomfortable on this bus.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
I really liked the home cooked meal, thank you, because
that that would land you know what good horny, I'll say,
staying light, staying on the cleaner side. Greek, some Mediterranean,
(50:06):
keep it light, keep it clean, not a lot of butter,
not a lot of oils. Fresh. My tier two is
going to be tapas. You take into a nice little
tapas spot. I feel like there's a been a good
little vibe there. You've got cocktails, you got tapas. You
can share a little bit. You do have to stay
a little conscious of what they're bringing out, but tapas
is a good vibe to set up the rest of
the night.
Speaker 1 (50:26):
Is that tapas? That's a curry thing? Rightas that come out? Okay? Uncultured?
Speaker 3 (50:37):
My tier one, Skip the dinner, Skip the dinner. Yeah,
fasting fast and he just dive right in. Bro, we
really want to go to dinner. We know what, we
know what's about. I'm here now, the sparks fifteen minutes ago.
(50:58):
I ain't got time for dinner dinner here, So I'm
gonna say t your one, skip you know what the
move is, what you want first?
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Then dinner, Let's get let's get let's let's figure.
Speaker 3 (51:10):
You can recharge.
Speaker 1 (51:11):
Yeah with food. Now you're getting Mexican. Now you're getting pizza.
Now you're getting barbecue, because you know you are barbecue.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
You're at your horniest when you're hungry, are you? Yeah?
But when you leave, look it up.
Speaker 1 (51:26):
I don't think that's my bad. I just kind of
spin on you a little bit. Getting horny uh, horny.
I don't think that's it, but look it up. I
think I think horny makes your horny. I think that's true.
Horny is like a like a it's just a particle
in the air.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
I don't think like being hungry makes your horny. I'm
just saying, like, you can get your hornies when you're hungry,
you start eating food, You're gonna have a full tummy.
You have to wait a little bit for the digest,
get a few farts up, maybe hit the two John.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this,
going off of your this when you are let's say
Charlet takes both the kids, she goes out of town.
You're okay, hold on, let's say eat Charlie, thanks the kids,
she goes out of town. You know, you have the
whole entire house to yourself. You know at one point
it's going to be you some some lip candles and
getting after it a little bit. You can eat first,
(52:12):
you can eat after after you line. I'm with that, Yeah,
I think I'm I think that too.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
Eat after you're at home alone, dude, like you're the
horning is will just come like come.
Speaker 7 (52:26):
Up, start them.
Speaker 3 (52:27):
It's not like you're it's not like you're you're not
feeling anything, and you're just thinking, okay, if I beat
the old boy later, do I want to do it
before dinner or after dinner? Like you're just kind of
sitting there watching TV and next thing you know, you're horning. Yeah,
and then you're also thinking, I am hungry. So this
makes sense. So you take care of them right there
on the couch. Now you tap when you're eating your food,
(52:47):
you're tapping. You're also tapping in the to the refractory period,
which is the recharge up, the recharge to go around too.
If you are interested, if you're going to yes, So
going into your plan, whether it's like hey let's take
a business before we go to dinner, you're taking care
of business, you're going to dinner, you also have those
moments to recharge a little bit. And then if you're
battling the old boy, like say you don't got the
(53:08):
you got a little bit of an E D problem,
then you're able to throw in the road sparks around two.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Will never get his play, No, no, he wrapped it
back around to the sh I never give play. Don't
don't let don't let him get you going.
Speaker 3 (53:26):
He's just that's more of a like Charles in Trouble.
When I get home, I think, I think you're right.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
I take you back what I said.
Speaker 3 (53:37):
I think you're right.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
I think I think think about think about when you've
already thought it. I've always just said I thought about it.
Speaker 3 (53:42):
You're right. Think about the times we travel. I don't
know your personal business, but everyone, I assume you've gotten
pretty charged up before we went out to get food.
When you're just you're you're in the hotel room, probably
when you were watching tires a little bit or not watchings,
saying you were pretty charged up, and when you know,
when we had to go and get b dubs, he
(54:04):
was like, I had to take care of the.
Speaker 1 (54:05):
Old boy before. Yeah, you're probably hungry. Yeah, and then
we ate.
Speaker 3 (54:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
No, you're right. Once again, I agree with you.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
Just think about it, think about it next time. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:17):
Yeah, I'm gonna text you just make I'm hungry. Yeah,
get to the hotel moment. I'm hungry.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
You all right?
Speaker 1 (54:25):
How we feel? Boys?
Speaker 3 (54:26):
Huh, horny, We are a good deal.
Speaker 1 (54:30):
I missed you, dudes. I fucking missed you guys, especially
last night seeing all that starting up as I'm closing
my eyes, I see the walk out. You're starting to
walk out. I'm like, God, I wish I was with them.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
It was fun, dude, that the Nashville showed out like
it just being a fight night. Bruce Buffer all the like,
everybody there, everybody's performing. It was a good vibe. The
crowd was awesome because you had, like, you know, you
had a couple of local boys. You got the USA chance.
But it was And also, shout out the Raiders fans.
I felt like there were Raiders fans there for whatever reason.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
Theywhere, They're everywhere.
Speaker 3 (54:59):
They're obviously he fired up for the for the brock
Bauers episode. But shout out the Raiders fans. We're shown
out at you.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
We have this episode to bring you True Classic. If
you guys have watched the Lost Vegas vlog Jared's first
time in Vegas. We went out to the True Classic
store that is in the mall over there by the strip.
We found two lucky customers. Told them how you get
one minute, pay out whatever you want, grab it and go.
One guy understood the asignment. The other guy did not.
But the guy who understood the assignment, I guarantee he
(55:25):
is so much happier in his closet. I'm wearing Tru
Classic right now, Taylor. It's a little stained. So I
also wore it yesterday and I spilled some stuff on me,
and then I woke up this morning for an early
flight put it on. Still fits great, still fits phenomenal.
That's what True Classic does. Grabs all the right areas,
gives you a little for that fluff in the middle.
If you got it, which we all kind of do.
We all want to do a little bit better. But
True Classics you don't have to put in as much
(55:47):
hard work as you already look great with it on
Boys and Girls. You can find True Classic on Amazon
and Costco, Sam's Club and Target nationwide, or online at
true Classic dot com, Forward, slash busted, Look good, feel good,
play good. Let's get back the episode before we get
out of here. Your boy suit just retired.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
He did, he did, finally laid the gloves down.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
Give me a fond memory of your boy and a doplicantsuit.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
A fond memory. Oh, give me a memory, I would say,
my personal fond memory.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
I want to hear a memory about you guys in
the car and him pulling over.
Speaker 3 (56:21):
Yeah. So I was, you know, you know me the
boy asking, yeah, asking about Canada, like you know, we
were I think a week removed. He was on a
bye week. That was this MOE when he's out in Detroit.
We were both in maybe it was the off season,
but we were both in Nebraska. We were driving to
the airport to drop him off, and I was kind of,
you know, jabbing him about the Aaron Rodgers situation where
(56:44):
he was stomping on Aaron Rodgers. And then after the
game he's saying that he didn't like God got the
man upstairs knows what happened, and so I'm like, hey,
I like suss so the man upstairs, like we can
both agree that you stomped on him, and he just
like turns back and look and he's like he didn't
(57:04):
want to play about it. He just turns and looks
and goes, we can pull the car over and I
can show you what I meant if you want to
do that. And I was like, oh, no, no, listen,
we don't have to talk about it anymore, man upstairs,
but I would love to talk to him about this
story when he when he comes.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
On the ball, when he finally comes in the bus. Yeah,
as if we don't have enough Nebraska fans.
Speaker 3 (57:26):
When I was a red shirt freshman, we were in
the middle of I want to say, is the Texas
game when they beat us with the second left when
they kicked the field goal. But I was in on
one drive because they were backed up, so we were
in base package. So I happened to be in on
like a couple of plays that game. And he looked
he looked back at me one time, like I'm like thinking, Okay,
(57:48):
I think I have the eight or not. I'm thinking,
I'm like I got the E gap on this one,
all right, just a gap? All right? They're in the
I formation, you know, I'm a young buck head spinning
like I'm out there faster the championship. Yeah, and he
like looks back, Hey, I'm taking the A gap, you
go be. And I'm just thinking, man, that is fucking
because he was I mean the Heisman mark Ingram was
walking around with his Heisman trophy right now. Yeah, like
that dude could have single handedly like he should have
(58:10):
won the Heisman that year and what was it, eight
nine eight? Like that dude, he was a bad fucking
dude with that Nebraskan on the side of his helmet.
I'm like, yeah, and Detroit too.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
He only him, I want to say only what.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
Warren Sapp has been ranked in the top five of
the top three in Heisman vote in Heisman voting for
like a defensive tackle, Like Sue was that dude, Like, yeah,
he did it all, but that was one of the
coolest memories. Like like playing with him is like him
turned around being Sue and he's like, I'm taking the
a gap here you go, you go becap And I'm
just like, yes, sir.
Speaker 1 (58:43):
And he's saying that while the offensive line is already
lined up.
Speaker 3 (58:45):
You're like while they're lining up, and he like looks
back to me, He's like, Hey, I'm gonna do this.
You just fit off being go bet gap.
Speaker 1 (58:50):
When you first when you're a young buck and one
of those that like that's not what that's not what
we're supposed to do. He said Baker. He said Baker, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (58:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (58:59):
Anytime, like you get an older guy when you're first
in college and they like say something to you to
like change something up, you feel so extra cool.
Speaker 3 (59:07):
Yeah, you really do.
Speaker 1 (59:08):
But we're really out here just playing some backyard ball.
Speaker 3 (59:10):
Aren't we body.
Speaker 1 (59:11):
I'm like, shut the fuck and Sue like he was
real tight with my roommate Alonzo Whaley.
Speaker 3 (59:15):
Zo Whaley and Zoe was my age. So Zoe was young.
I was young, and so I didn't like Sue and
I were boys like that, But Sue was always the
cat in the hallway and in the locker room that
I would play up like we're boys, you know what
I mean? Yeah, Sue, what's something, man? It was good
to see you over the weekend. He like comes and
picked Zoe up or something like that, and then like
if somebody's around, I like tap him like you know,
(59:37):
me and Sue like we're boys. And he just called
me like a bitch or he called me like something.
He would like to grade me in front of everybody. Yeah,
you know, I always play how we do it?
Speaker 1 (59:45):
That's like that's my guy.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
Haven't missed the beat.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
That's how we do it. He was his last year
to his nine.
Speaker 3 (59:54):
Yeah, okay, all right.
Speaker 1 (59:56):
I heard a story about him in a Bowl game
one time when they I do like the banquet dinner
and though the center was asked, how do you feel
about going against Sue tomorrow? And He's like, eh, I'm
not too worried about it. And I guess like the
whole Nebraska team like looked back and was like, oh, fuck,
he's in for a long day and he took the
guy out of the game in the first quarter. Were
you a part of the team then, I was part
of the team.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
Girl told that story on the pod.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
But I also saw a clip recently.
Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Clip.
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
I think it was from Busting with the Boys, you
know what, it was our clip? Yeah, so I think
I did hear a story.
Speaker 3 (01:00:30):
Hey, we have our brains. Our brain's fleeting, fleeting, dude,
but yeah, it's worse with time. I don't remember if
Sue like injured him and he was out in the
first quarter, but I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Sue was that dude. Sue is a bad man.
Speaker 3 (01:00:42):
And you kind of like he carried himself like a
pro like in college, you know what I mean. Yeah,
kind of kept to himself.
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
I want to say he operated that way while he's
in the league, because he's somebody that would always He's
always like, uh talking to Levante because they both played
on the Bucks together. Lavonte would tell me like after practice,
before they go into to defensive meetings or to review film, whatever,
it is Sue's always on like business calls, Like you know,
he has like a board where like Warren buffets on it,
(01:01:08):
like this is a dude who operated. I want to
say he got his engineering degree in Nebraska. But he
was always he was always playing the game within the game,
like setting himself up on the outside. All that stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
Good for him. Yeah, I never had any real runnings
with him because by the time I was in the league,
he was in the Dolphins, and I think I played
him a couple of times maybe maybe just like a
handful of snaps, But I don't really have anything that
would be like, oh, exciting for the viewer. Yeah, but
obviously a hell of a talent.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
He was dog bro.
Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
I haven't thirteens. You know how many Pro Bowls did
he get?
Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
I mean he was in Detroit those first four years.
Crazy like I want to say when they took uh
and look, Jerald McCoy is a hell of a player,
But I want to say he got drafted ahead of Sue.
Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
I think cooy has made a bunch of a bunch
of pro bo.
Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
Did Sue go three overall? Second, second overall? Okay, so
never mind, he did get picked out of jermal Cord,
but it was between like him and Jerald coming out
and it was just, dude, it's just a no brainer.
The way the way Sue was bro like he I
remember we were playing against Virginia Tech. It was on
my birthday and he was doing something I want to say.
(01:02:24):
He was like, you know, he would kind of have
moments where he just plays on his own. He like
does his own thing, and Coach bo is pissed about
how he's playing because he's freelancing a little too much,
and he like looks down the sideline and he's like, Carl,
get him out of the fucking game. I don't want
him in there. Get him out of the fucking game.
And Carl like looks at it, and he was like,
I need him. He has to be on the field.
(01:02:45):
He stayed and play on it. Obviously he stayed on
the field, but Sue was like, uh yeah, I mean
that he's he's fucking him.
Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
He's fuck him, he's him.
Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
Crowd would have erupt who They did it in the NFL,
but Memorial Stadium was always rocking. He like put this
Colorado quarterback like six feet under after he picked the
ball off Alex Hendry BEng this fifty eight yarder. We
go up on Colorado loudest I ever heard of Memorial
Stadium when I was there, and that next drive, Colorado
is going on a drive to like come back and
(01:03:16):
like win the game, and Sue ends up maybe tipping
it and picking it off, but picks it off. The
quarterback is the coach's son, I believe at the time,
and he goes to try and tackle Sue, and Sue
just fucking this reaches back, reaches back from his ancestry
and just puts him in the fucking ground.
Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
Bro puts him in.
Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
Look at that photo and crowd is going fucking bizaring crazy, crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
Bro, look at this guy. He is losing his mind.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
But he's a legend. He's a legend. He's a legend.
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
What you got clump?
Speaker 6 (01:03:53):
Uh.
Speaker 13 (01:03:53):
We haven't got to talk yet, but there may be
a rumor that he will officially be on the bus.
Speaker 3 (01:03:59):
Just throw it out there. I threw out to him
in my tweet and he he sunned me.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Oh he sunned me. That's tough, he said, But I
feel like that's him, that's you guys, just thing, Yeah,
that's us. So he did he knows he remembers the
old time he goes, maybe one day appreciated kid, that's you, guys,
that's us.
Speaker 3 (01:04:24):
Yeah you have that's a relationship.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
Oh exclamation point though, Yeah, so you knows enthusiasm in
that tweet. Man, love you, love you, Sue. I'm kind
of scared to have him on the bus.
Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
Honestly, he's intimidating.
Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
Do you think we should should we have him on
the bus?
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
I think it'd be fun.
Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Yeah, fun.
Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Our stress would be up, like my heart would be
up the whole time. But yeah, I think it'd be
a good time. I'm scared to ask him, but they
were Rogers saying again, but maybe no, No, I'll ask him.
I'll ask him, and then if he starts to act
him sort away by will me ask that. I'll just
kind of.
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
If anyone's getting there, ask me. It's gonna be real.
The bus looks my writerer going, yeah, dude, legend, good
for him, go big Red. Also Josh Payton, huh, he.
Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
Says he's getting close.
Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
He and I I feel like a lot of the
national landscape. When he broke down Nebraska's schedule this year,
I won one hundred.
Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
Agree. I didn't hear him break down schedule. I just
saw those clips on three was it jd Y?
Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
I saw J said ten and two, Yeah, nine and three.
He broke down every single game, wins and losses, and
I watched it. I was like, could not agree more.
That's that is what that's our ceiling. That's what we need.
We need that seven and five right. It's a smaller
gap this year, boys, but if we can hit nine
and three the next year, who knows what's gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
I don't know why you say we are in Michigan's
your squad, bro.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Yeah, dude, but I rove for Nebraska every single week
other than September twenty.
Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
But I'm saying, like South Carolina Tennessee nine four one,
I will be I will fucking hate Nebraska after that, Dude,
I go big red because I know.
Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
My boy do the same for me. No, and go Cox,
go Cox, go all the team says, fucking fifteen of them, dude,
root for all of them football. I love football, dude.
So yeah, but I think you guys, I think this
is exactly how your schedule go. Don't sleep on Penn State, though,
I feel like you guy should sneak Pen state.
Speaker 3 (01:06:38):
And maybe we're we're focused on week one. We got
Cincinnati August twenty eight, one game.
Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
At focus on that. Yeah, and hey, gotta feel nice
looking at them. Put the wind calm in that last
game of the year.
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
Yeah, look, media, everybody's gonna have. Everybody's gonna have their things,
like you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Know, right right August twenty eighth. Yeah, hey, good, good
to the episode.
Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
Yeah, bours, what you got nothing you want to No? No, no,

(01:08:35):
for one so far every.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
Year he's been in the NFL, he's been the best.
Speaker 3 (01:08:38):
The most receptions of a tight end and rookie his
history yards two I think so yeah, yeah, most yards
for a rookie and history. Absolutely know we have an
absolute dog on the bus. He's welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
Brock Bauers, the pride of the Georgia Bulldogs, the Prime.
Speaker 3 (01:08:59):
I mean they got a lot of you see.
Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
You try to be a little humble Touay. Yeah, I
think so. It's like, you know exactly how many yards
you got last?
Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
But he's nothing but humble, nothing but humble.
Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
It's gonna be one of those podcasts you said there
and you're like, man, this kid really understands professional football already.
Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
Yeah, he is a pro. He's he is a true pro.
Take off your head, show the camera how much of
a pro you are.
Speaker 8 (01:09:21):
That?
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Yeah, we were.
Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
We were set to give you an award last night.
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Yeah, Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (01:09:27):
But when Taylor Swift went out there, it was kind
of like, hey, let's kind of scrap the award show. Yeah,
follow up, you want.
Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
To tell I wish I had the car with me
so I should have kept it framed for it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
It was hairline to Talent Ratio. Yeah, please come out
on stage.
Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Trophy for you, presented by Bud Light and everything. What dude,
I'm looking over the sheet It says Napa, California. Yeah,
you are the opposite of whatever I would see out
of Napa, California, just a gritty guy getting on the field.
Had the opportun to watch you in college for a game,
and what are we doing that? But what are they?
(01:10:04):
What's the water like in that? Like you have a
good football team out there.
Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
After it that they used to be good and then
kind of like really regressed the last couple of years. Actually,
sophomore year we went and ten didn't win a game
my sophomore year somehow, you know, we tried to pick
it up, pick it up junior year and yeah, not
very good football out there.
Speaker 3 (01:10:24):
What junior year? What was your record?
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
We were like, we were like seven and three.
Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Big turnaround from in ten.
Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Yeah, yeah, huge, huge, Yeah when did when.
Speaker 1 (01:10:33):
Did colleges start coming out? Look at your dad is
textbook high school photo right.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Like junior year we all have, we all have.
Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
You can find one of will Compton right now. No, no,
I finally one of Will Compton, and I want to
go and find me. Also, I think of three in
my head of myself. But hey, there's a good feeling
when they pop those photos. Hey, we want so and
so wants to get a photo shoot of you. NAPA
NAPA Regional wants to do an article on you know,
and we'll get some photo.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
The top left was a that was a high school
recruiting I thought that was a bit. No, that was
not a bit.
Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
Look at that.
Speaker 3 (01:11:10):
I mean that's just a rivals photo right there.
Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
Notre Dame hoodie on you.
Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
I wanted to go to Notre Dame so badly back then.
Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
What was so you're an awful football team?
Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
Oh yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
The Georgia Bulldogs.
Speaker 3 (01:11:23):
What position were you playing since you guys were so bad? Like,
were you, you know, play everywhere?
Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
Yeah? Freshman year I started. I was a triple option quarterback.
That was fun. Fresh That was freshman year. I played
JV a little bit, and then like sophomore junior year,
I played receiver, running back, defense, return kicks, kind of
a little bit of everything. So it was fun.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Yeah what defensive back? No?
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
At the end, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:11:49):
A photo of me, I got my my brain got
wiped for a second. That is so you're a guy
that was just on the field the whole time. Like
you when the game started, you stepped inside the white
lines and you didn't come out until after the sixteen minutes.
Speaker 6 (01:12:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Yeah, I've never been like that. Exhausted after football game
except for in high school. Highchool was like the most
exhausting thing ever not come on the field.
Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
What do you think when you see a guy like
Travis Hunter.
Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
I mean, I don't know how he does it. Really,
it's like going both ways, like doing high school it
sucked and I can't it didn't suck. It was awesome,
but like just conditioning wise, like yeah, I mean in
such good shape, I don't know how he does it. Yeah,
it's crazy, especially with that like taking some place off.
Speaker 3 (01:12:23):
Yeah. Yeah, in high school, you kind of hate if
I'm not involved in this when you're kind of a
little easier on the backside, right right, yeah, right here,
let me just let me just chill, chill for a moment.
Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
The uh so, you guys are seven and three, and
when is the recruiting start for you? Because you're all
over the field. Yeah, how you getting recruited for a
d N or any of these other positions at all? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
Actually, Notre Dame recruiting me as an outside linebacker.
Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
That's gotta hurts.
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
I ended up getting off of from Notre Dame, but
it was late. It was late. I felt like a pity,
like the second yeah, second fiddle, they're like, hey, if
this guy doesn't commit at the Army Game, then we'll
have a scholarship for you. And they offered me as
a fullback first. So it was it was not what
I what I wanted because I was you.
Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
Need to be a full back growing up, you needed
to be a full back. I was.
Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
I was. Listen, I toted the rock.
Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
Now I understand. I think you know he was.
Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
He was All State full but a.
Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
Was a half back. You look up the old table
against Poplar Bluff back in O seven. I had about
three hundred total yards of offense in the first half
and didn't you know, didn't have to go in the
second half. That was between both running back in wide
RESI four touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
Notre Dame offers you. Linebacker Will Compton was not considered
an elite athlete.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
In the traditional sense.
Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
Yeah, just I think that just whatever was highlighted right
there is a perfect.
Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
We had toughness intelligence, Yeah, carved out a roll through
toughness intelligence.
Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
Yes, absolutely, That's why he made the Old White team.
Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
That's why I forgot to say that in his intro. Yeah,
that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
It's your baby too. I could when he got drafted
when he was having the year he was having. It
was he was a shoe in in the middle of
the year, like this.
Speaker 1 (01:14:21):
Is you got hurt right away, but he's still in it.
Speaker 3 (01:14:24):
Yes, some great milk in that rookie class. Good he
gets some good quality milks, a whole milk.
Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
Outside. What are their teams were you looking at? Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
Uh yeah, Michigan offered me. It was, Uh, I don't know,
I don't really like lik it up there. Really, I
don't know. It wasn't really my vibe.
Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
And then why wasn't it your vibe?
Speaker 2 (01:14:50):
I don't know, not.
Speaker 3 (01:14:53):
Really.
Speaker 2 (01:14:54):
It didn't really like the cold. I went there and
it was like snow and stuff. I was like, I
don't know, Yeah, Californ what everybody's built for it?
Speaker 5 (01:15:01):
Man?
Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
You know, every recruiter was pumped to go to NAPO,
go do a.
Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
Couple of wine tastings. Next day. They're loaded trying to
recruit it right. Coaches in there every single week. Who
was who was it coming down to? Was Georgia always
kind of the lead dog.
Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
It was kind of like Georgia and Washington University of Washington,
no ship. Yeah, I don't know. It was just because
it was kind of a little bit closer to home,
and I mean, there have some decent tight ends coming
through and I really like the coaching staff there. So
it was kind of like toss up. But like I
was kind of way in my offtion, I was like,
I don't really know if I'm be in Seattle, see
Like I was like, I don't know if I'm house.
(01:15:39):
I want to go to somewhere.
Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
Like they have a cool game day atmosphere to.
Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
Sit with the boatsailgating.
Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
Their stadium's loud for not like holding you know what
I mean, Like eighty one hundred thousand fans Northwest.
Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
For whatever reason, like does football games and they're unique
but loud and cool.
Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
Culture Washington goes hard.
Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
Washington Oregon, I mean that Seahawks, that whole area goes crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
Not the USC.
Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
I didn't really want to be in l A either.
It's kind of, you know, kind of no, no.
Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
An l A guy. No guy is not an l
A guy.
Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
No not.
Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
It's a lot different. I feel like I feel like
no one in southern California are way different than each other.
Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
Definitely, without a doubt. Definitely.
Speaker 3 (01:16:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
And then Georgia the Dogs. Yeah, when did we commit
to them?
Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Man, I think I was going into my was it
going into my junior year of high school? I think
I committed committed early? Yeah, yeah, pretty early.
Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:16:36):
You stay committed pretty hardcore throughout both years. Like it
feels like nowadays in high school you commit early, like
it doesn't matter until the dotted line is signed. Like,
were you ever a little fickle or did you waiver
it all like during your two years in high school? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
You know, I mean you're I was going so far
away from home. I was like, do I really want
to do that? And then I was like it seemed
like the best choice me And I was like, i't'
just go do it and see what happens. It's not permanent,
so I might as well go do something different.
Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
Yeah, you're sitting in a new era being able to like,
if it doesn't work out, you can just go back
home pretty fast if you want.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
Yeah, yeah, you can always on the transferport is like
so crazy now it's like you can hop out. When Ever,
when you're at.
Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
Georgia from a leadership standpoint, when guys are like not
getting their way and they're kind of pouting about it,
so they're just gonna leave, how are you having those
conversations with other players. You're like, hey, listen, you do
your time here. Obviously, like Georgia Alabama, those are two
schools like five star for five star for five star
comes in and a lot of guys don't play to
their senior year, but once they play the senior year,
they're getting drafted in the top three rounds. Are you
like having these conversations with these guys or you're just
(01:17:35):
kind of like, hey, you're either about it you're not
getting it off.
Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
Yeah. I feel like that's kind of a tough thing now,
is like really staying committed to one team and like
really sticking out and trying to get developed. But I
think coach Kirby Smart does really good job like kind
of weeding through people and know one who's really like
about it and really committed to the Like I mean,
just like recruiting wise, I feel like your recruits good dudes.
Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
So were you part of the nil era when you
first got there? All right?
Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
It was like right after my it was like right
during my freshman year when it's kicked off.
Speaker 3 (01:18:02):
I bet that was a wild huh.
Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
Yeah, Well, like no one knew how like anything worked,
So it was like kind of just chaos the first year,
and I mean it's still it's even worse now with
all the collective stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
So yeah, no, when it was first happening, are you
what conversations are taking place, like with the family or
did you even have an agent at the time? Are
you like, should I get an agent? This feels kind
of weird, like who do I talk? Do I talk
to my coaches? I don't know what they're on board
with Nils. It was probably, uh, it was probably a
little awkward at times when it was first happening.
Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
Yeah, no, it was. It was definitely weird, like no
one knew how to really navigate it and everything. And
JT Daniels, our quarterback that transferred from you know, seeing
came into Georgia actually introduced me to his marketing guy
saying something for me, and I've I've been with him
ever since.
Speaker 3 (01:18:45):
Oh that's that's love. That's awesome. Oh yeah, get the
first one and kind of stick with them. Yeah, when
you were thinking about going across country, did you have
did you have like a did you have a girlfriend
back home that you were thinking of, like, ah, you know,
going all the way across because you're right, like going
all the way across country to live somewhere else for
four years. You're thinking it is like a pretty scary
thing for a teenager just graduating high school.
Speaker 2 (01:19:07):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I'm gonna. I had my girlfriend
back home, and I mean we're still together now. Actually
she's still we've been together for like five years, five
six years.
Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
No, she's awesome. And she ended up going to Tennessee
actually from California, which is kind of funny. Yeah, so
it's kind of a round rivalry. Yeah, that kind of
that kind of sucks, but but it was great having like,
i mean close enough.
Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
Now, was she pulling for Georgia when Georgia Tennessee.
Speaker 14 (01:19:34):
Played, she had she had the nineteen jersey on Okay, yea,
she was getting kind of yelled at by her friends,
but you know yeah, yeah, yeah wild So she older
younger than you, she's like six months younger than six months,
same class or she's the.
Speaker 2 (01:19:52):
Same class, same class class.
Speaker 1 (01:19:53):
So when you guys were doing the long distance thing,
was it was it difficult to any points? So are
you guys pretty pretty solid about communication sharing all that?
Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
I mean it was tough, yeah, yeah, she uh no,
it was definitely a little tough, you know. Yeah, different schools,
especially when we're playing together, getting dms like oh, like
you know, like your girlfriends like out here with all
like the fraends and stuff like yeah, man, I'm getting
a like DM. Yeah, but like Tennessee fans like trying
to like get in your head and stuff and like
(01:20:24):
two boys yeah before and she's getting the same things.
Like your boyfriend like sucks, like he's like I don't know, like.
Speaker 3 (01:20:31):
These sororities run.
Speaker 7 (01:20:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:20:33):
Yeah, it's supposed to be its only animal too.
Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
Athens was a cool spot when we went out.
Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
Yeah, it seemed like a nice area. We never really
got to go out in the area, but but.
Speaker 3 (01:20:41):
How the downtown area is kind of like right there
outside of the stadium, it seems like Greek life goes
really hard there.
Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
Are we when we were there.
Speaker 3 (01:20:48):
Like spring Spring Tour, No, we went to the South
that's right, That's when they placed, so they were all
out getting after it. That was when that was when
Brock was on the He was like questionable to play
because I want to say he was injured. I don't
even know if you you played that much during that
game because we had to pull over in was it. Yeah,
(01:21:08):
in Tennessee before we crossed the line.
Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
To put in a big conversations playing this week because
it I mean JP in the back. He's a big
South Carolina guy. He goes like, so JP's given us
all the reasons in the world while South Carolina's gonna
upset Georgia.
Speaker 13 (01:21:23):
Yeah, we had.
Speaker 2 (01:21:27):
Yeah a hamster.
Speaker 1 (01:21:28):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
I was like kind of battle that the first half
of the year.
Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
Yeah, that was a close game.
Speaker 8 (01:21:33):
Oh my, yeah we had him because then we had
somebody get hurt too. Oh your receiver, Yeah, yes, get
got hurt. Yeah, because he scored in the first play
or like on our first drive, and then we're like, okay,
we might actually we might.
Speaker 7 (01:21:50):
Upset Nation is here. It wasn't the It was his foot.
Speaker 3 (01:21:53):
Was it Juice Wells his first gat.
Speaker 7 (01:21:55):
It was got hurt.
Speaker 3 (01:21:56):
Juice was hurt. He like re injured himself.
Speaker 7 (01:21:59):
Oh my god. We were sitting up.
Speaker 1 (01:22:01):
There comes in.
Speaker 7 (01:22:05):
It's just we cannot tackle him to save our lives.
Speaker 3 (01:22:08):
Guy and the bulldog. The defense was just getting after
rather chance.
Speaker 8 (01:22:13):
But when we were in Georgia, I was telling him
last night everybody. He was the first name out of
everyone's mouth. About like how good of a dude Brock
Bowers was, how honored they were that he was a
Georgia Bulldog.
Speaker 1 (01:22:23):
So yeah, we we were up in a suite with
a bunch of big and they were telling us like,
this team would be nothing without the leadership of Brock Powers.
These boys wouldn't have any at all, talking about how
you were like a top Knox guy. The only community
like that.
Speaker 2 (01:22:40):
I mean, I mean we have we have some great
dudes on that team. I mean yeah, junior year, I
mean our defense was solid, Like we have some solid
dudes in the defense, like Malachi and Javon and Bullard
and gosh who else Smile and Kamori and everyone. So
I mean everyone's in lad too. We helped out last Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:23:04):
So was it?
Speaker 1 (01:23:06):
It says on the sheet here forty one drafted players
in two years, two national championships.
Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
Yeah, disgusting.
Speaker 3 (01:23:11):
What was it like going into a locker room like that,
Like you know, growing up in Napa, you're going over
You're going over to the South.
Speaker 2 (01:23:17):
Yeah, it was definitely complete. It was completely different.
Speaker 3 (01:23:20):
Yes, like what the fuck?
Speaker 2 (01:23:22):
Yeah, it was definitely a complete like one a from
what I've been used to doing.
Speaker 3 (01:23:25):
But it was.
Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
It was awesome. I loved it, like going there and
practicing like my first spring camp and and like fall
camp and everything.
Speaker 1 (01:23:31):
It was.
Speaker 2 (01:23:32):
I mean, I think our whole defense was like first
second rounders like it was. It was crazy. Yeah, it
was absolutely nuts.
Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
Did you ever did you ever get your dick knocked
in by those boys?
Speaker 2 (01:23:41):
Yeah? Every day every day during fall like yeah, every
day during the fall camp. It was all I was
just getting my ass.
Speaker 3 (01:23:46):
Who on the squad just hit you the hardest. I remember,
like play with some grown men now, Trayvon Walker.
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
He uh boy, big boy. Yeah, he had something like
up his wrist so he used to I think he
had like carbon fire. I were like risk like risk
praises and stuff. He'd get them all tape and stuff.
So he'd be like he'd be out there and just clubbing,
just clubbing people. So I'd try to block me like
club my arms, like I'm in My arms are so
beat up. And then I had like go wrap back
(01:24:12):
on him one day and I like tripped over someone's
foot and I started falling and he just leveled me.
It was so bad.
Speaker 3 (01:24:20):
I like how he put his insurance policy. Now, you know,
I kind of tripped on somebody. Yeah, you know, all
the boys are going crazy. It's like, come on, I tripped.
Speaker 1 (01:24:31):
You know, if you're not confident eno to say outs,
you whisper to your boys like you can see I
tripp when you first when you first get to Georgia,
is there like a come to Jesus workout where they
basically trying to weed out the week. I don't know
about Nebraska, but at Michigan, the first day I got there,
they got all like we were with the team for
the first time and we did this insane workout and
the head string coach before we even went to run,
(01:24:51):
I was like almost in a full body cramp and
he's like, welcome to Michigan. How do you like my
dick in your mouth?
Speaker 6 (01:24:57):
Run?
Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
And I was thinking to myself, I Am not going
to make it here anything like that.
Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
I mean every Friday they just try to kill us.
I mean we never had anything like crazy like that,
not quite like that, but uh, they definitely try to
kill us. I swear.
Speaker 3 (01:25:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
It was those team runs and like even like the
practice like fall camp was just insane.
Speaker 1 (01:25:19):
It was wild.
Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Yeah, that's pretty crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
What was it like playing for Kirby smart on the
outside that you hear the stories how tough he can be, Like,
do you have a you have a good Kirby Smart story,
Kirby Smart story, there's a might have just ripped into you?
Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
Yeah, oh yeah, I mean he rips into someone every
single day, like every you gotta have your head and spouse.
He has like a loud mic. He goes around and
it goes throughout the whole whole practice field and he's
he's like, give me on the complete opposite side of
the field and he'll call you out like you'll be like,
how is he even seeing right now? And it's and
it's pretty funny because he's like cussing people out and
there's like, I mean, you could hear it if you
go and stand outside, and there's like churches and stuff
(01:25:53):
across the streets. So we're like we always like, i
mean there's churches, like in session across the street and
he's out here cussing people out in the field. It's
pretty funny.
Speaker 3 (01:26:01):
Then Bo Bo, would you know? That was kind of
like the where Twitter was kind of popping off. Yeah,
and Bo was so mad because he didn't want guys
to have Twitter. And we would go back and forth
on why we should be able to have it and keep
it and stuff and and bo Uh. One time, this
letter came across his desk, or this tweet came across
his desk by Big Tobes forty eight, and after practice,
(01:26:24):
Bow like takes a sheet and he reads this tweet
out loud and it's like, you know, he brings me
into his office in the morning. He's like, this is
what you guys want. And I'm like trying to tell
him that these are song lyrics. He's like, I don't
give a fuck what they are with the lyrics, he
reads it out loud. At the end of practice, he's like, Lamborghini,
Mercy your chick, she's so thirsty. I'm in my two seat,
(01:26:45):
Lambeau with your girl. She's trying to jerk me Big
Tobes forty eight And everyone starts laughing. But Bo was
you know, he was pissed off and he just starts
ripping into Tobes and I forget where Tobes is from.
Coach bo was notorious like, I'll ship your ass back
to Georgia or wherever you're from. And uh, yeah, So
that was that was a that's that's a fond memory
(01:27:07):
to look back on and just remember you're sitting there
like damn oh boys, getting Tobes is getting ripped into
right now, jay.
Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
Z lyrics isn't crazy? Like the difference of when you're
getting recruited by these coaches and how they're sweet. They're
they're jerking you the whole time, tell you how great
you all you're amazing, We're going to use you like this,
and now like you're at X, Y and Z and
then a minute you sent on the dotted line and
walk in the door. They're basically like, all ship your
ass back in Arizona to keep fucking around. Yeah, people
(01:27:35):
get fired because the way you're acting right now.
Speaker 3 (01:27:37):
We were up like twenty eight seven or twenty eight
fourteen on Colorado and at the end of the game,
Alfonso Dinner. He's uh, he ended up getting drafted, but
he was an awesome corner out of Georgia, but he
was kind of, you know, kind of lazy on covering
this route and they threw a deep and ended up scoring.
But we had the game in the bag. The game
was over. But Bo comes in the locker room after
the game is over and fucking comes in and everybody's
(01:27:59):
kind of high five and the game out there, shit
like that. Bo comes in and he's looking around and
he goes over to Alfonso and grabs him. Look at
that motherfucker, dude, he's the man. Grabs the man, grabs him,
grabs him by the chest and puts him against the locker.
You ever fucking half ass a route like that again? Oh,
ship your ass back to Georgia. Rochelle, Georgia.
Speaker 1 (01:28:23):
Everybody's from Georgia.
Speaker 3 (01:28:24):
Yeah, yeah, they'll ship you back to Georgia. Is the
memory that is just always ingrained in my brain because
I was like standing right there, so I don't even
know if Tobes is from Georgia. But that's like a
PTSD moment where you're like, oh, fuck, you gotta finish
out the game. We had the game in the bag.
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
That reminds me of like Nick Saban Alabama Notre Dame
when they're just destroying Notre Dame and the center and
I can't remember who the quarterback was. They're like basically
getting an argument and Nick Saban's in the corner, all
five five of them just going fucking nuts. It's like
you you're three minutes away from win the nast tramp.
You're up by thirty and just order the bomb voice.
(01:29:01):
It's a little much. Kirby's got Kirby's that way, isn't he.
Speaker 2 (01:29:04):
Yeah, he'll get after.
Speaker 3 (01:29:05):
You standards the standard like at all times, even if
you're winning the game and somebody funcks up or a
backup or something, it seems like he's like in their ass.
Speaker 2 (01:29:12):
Yeah, it gets pretty nuts in the sideline, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
He's kind of statut of those ways way man. Yeah
with uh, I mean Alabama, Kirby came from that tree,
from the Nick sape and tree. Was it a little
different when you guys played them? Obviously you're playing Alabama,
you tell Kirby's a little tight, like I'm playing my
dad this week.
Speaker 3 (01:29:32):
I mean they hit I mean his there, they they
got over him, they got they got their ass.
Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
Yeah. But still it's like Sam's got fifty of them.
Speaker 3 (01:29:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
I mean that was the only team I ever lost
in college with Alabama twice and both in two SEC championships.
So that's just kind of tough. It was kind of tough.
Speaker 1 (01:29:50):
You don't know what it's like.
Speaker 3 (01:29:50):
The hurt.
Speaker 1 (01:29:53):
Yeah, we didn't make a bowl game. My freshman year. Yeah,
you lost two games in college.
Speaker 3 (01:29:59):
Yeah, oh, you only lost two games in college?
Speaker 2 (01:30:03):
Yeah, the two games we lost, Yeah, that's pretty crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:30:10):
I was just thinking, like, you know, lost Tobama twice.
I'm stuck on the Georgia versus Bama. And then you
said that, I'm like, oh, you only lost in college?
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
Yeah, what are those two losses? Like in the locker room?
Speaker 3 (01:30:22):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:30:23):
Man, the first one was rough, because I mean especial
when you guys still made the playoffs, right, Yeah, it
was a fourteen playoff and we were like we're like, man, like,
we're we we had this great year. We went undefeated,
and then we lose this last game. We're in the out,
like we're in the out, and then we ended up
sliding into the four spot I think, and lighting and
three three or four, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:30:42):
Yeah, I know you got lined up against Michigan.
Speaker 2 (01:30:44):
Yeah yeah, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:30:44):
That was not fun for me. Yeah to watch that.
Speaker 2 (01:30:49):
Yeah, that was a that was a fun game for us, though.
Speaker 1 (01:30:53):
Well, he is nervous. He is nervous playing the big
bad Blue.
Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
You know, a little like a little bit just because uh,
we were just coming off that lost to Alabama. That's
the championship game. But I think it kind of helped
because everyone was a little bit pissed off and everyone
wanted to I wanted to beat their ass, So you did, Yeah,
getting the.
Speaker 1 (01:31:12):
Natty, getting the natty in that. What's how is Kirby
handling in the locker room? You take a loss? You
guys are not sure, Hey, we had an opportunity to
national championship here, we might be kicked, we might bump
down to five. We don't know how this whole whoever
the council is, the illuminati of college football, how they're
going to handle it? Well, how's he handling after when
you guys walking that locker room for losing Alabama?
Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
I mean he tried to. I mean there's not much
you can say. Everyone everyone's in a shitty mood. Everyone
knows we lost. Everyone's like like, what can we do better?
And we're just like, all right, we'll go watch the film,
we'll go see what the committee wants to do, and
we'll see if we're in the playoffs as not. There's
nothing we can do about it now. He's like, all
the all the stuff's done, you can't do anything about it.
Speaker 1 (01:31:48):
Now, handled it with grace, He wasn't like chewing asses
right there.
Speaker 2 (01:31:51):
Yeah no, I mean everyone's in such like a terrible mood.
It was like there's no reason to go and rip
someone's ass, and you know you're already down, and I
mean it was like everything's down, is done. We gotta
see what we gotta do next.
Speaker 3 (01:32:04):
I feel like this few speeches he does have out there,
they're always like very level headed, Like I feel like
he's able to motivate you guys in a moment when
you guys might you you might not be knowing what
to expect when he walks in the locker room. It
feels like he's always got kind of the right thing
to say.
Speaker 2 (01:32:19):
Yeah consistently, Yeah, no, Yeah, he's always super consistent. I
mean he'll definitely rip you, but like you'll know, like
deep down he only wants the best few and he
knows that I'll get the best out of you.
Speaker 1 (01:32:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:32:30):
So yeah, I definitely he's definitely, like, I mean, a
great coach on Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:32:35):
I love him.
Speaker 1 (01:32:36):
He's got will much champ to go to psycho for
him to is that what this with this notice for
right here?
Speaker 2 (01:32:41):
Oh I don't know. The Florida halftime.
Speaker 1 (01:32:44):
Yeah, so Shermore up a little note here. Was he
in the locker room during the elaked Florida rant?
Speaker 2 (01:32:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Yeah, what's the context in that rock filmed?
Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
We? Yeah, yeah, I know, yeah. I remember. It was
my freshman year and it was like right before half,
like it was like it was like three to it
was like three to seven or like three to three
or something like that, and all of a sudden, our
defense goes and we get we get like a funber
recovery on like the five yard line, we score and
(01:33:16):
then like it was like a twenty one point swing
or something like like with two minutes left in the
first half. So it was pretty crazy. And he comes
in the locker room all fired up and then that
that's that's when the when the little thing got leaked
in the halftime, we pulled that up.
Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
It's just a sea.
Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
It's pretty good, No, it's fire.
Speaker 8 (01:33:33):
It's like when you're getting ready for college football and
the season to start. This is a video you would
turn on and be like just to get juice for
college where.
Speaker 3 (01:33:41):
He talks about like one moment at a time, or
he kind of talk.
Speaker 7 (01:33:44):
That was the national championship or the playoff.
Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
You know, I think that. I think that was a
national chip. I think I know which one you're talking about. Yeah,
the Florida one was. It was funny. I remember that
getting leaked and everyone was kind of like a little
bit nervous.
Speaker 1 (01:33:58):
Like, who leaked? Are you a rumored that it was
a player?
Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
I doubt it?
Speaker 15 (01:34:05):
All right, I can't alright, go ahead, play it, okay,
don't have you Tube premium.
Speaker 3 (01:34:23):
I mean, don't help us at all. Hey, yeah, hainted
up here, Yeah, pass it up here, that's.
Speaker 5 (01:34:27):
Here, long.
Speaker 10 (01:34:42):
Money here.
Speaker 16 (01:34:59):
He you know.
Speaker 6 (01:35:20):
We take their hearts by pounding on their ass?
Speaker 3 (01:35:36):
Is wrong with the today?
Speaker 2 (01:35:39):
Was that the whole thing?
Speaker 17 (01:35:40):
Remember there's a crazy Yeah he gets crazy at the end,
but he goes nuts at the end. Well, I mean
you can tell he's just juiced himself up right there.
Take those motherfuckers himself into that speech.
Speaker 1 (01:35:52):
Yeah that is wild.
Speaker 3 (01:35:56):
I know you too, you you know, you know Brock
just on a knee drink.
Speaker 1 (01:36:00):
Yes, sure, yes, sir, all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:36:06):
I die for this million yeah right now?
Speaker 1 (01:36:09):
You right there, and there is when you knew he
made the right choice to go to the University of Georgia.
Speaker 3 (01:36:13):
Yeah, yeah, draft experience, draft experience, I talk about the
draft experience. You were obviously a highly touted cat coming out.
You went, you go twelve overall to the Raiders to
Silver and Black, awesome place to play. What was the
What was the draft experience like for you?
Speaker 2 (01:36:31):
It was interesting? I mean I was I was coming
off an ankle during my junior year, so like that
last call on train was a little bit ify because
I come out I had my ankle and I was like,
I need to rehabit for like a month, so I
didn't do anything, and I go to train for like
the forty and I'm going like tweak my hands fe
I'm like, oh gosh, just sucks. So I'm like, can't
do anything to combine, can't Like I'm like, I'm just
(01:36:51):
gonna knock and do anything.
Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
Are you nervous that you're gonna come off as like
injury prones that you take your handy?
Speaker 2 (01:36:56):
Yeah, I was a little nervous because that, And then
I was like, I'm in a fine but uh, there's
always like those thoughts because you're never sure, yeah what
everyone's thinking. But yeah, it was actually kind of funny
that I feel like it's always like the team you
least expect, expect to pick you like, I don't know.
I didn't talk to him aton, I talked to other
teams a lot more. And then all of a sudden,
like I'm sitting there on draft night and I get
(01:37:18):
a call. I'm like, me and my agent are talking
and we're like, we're not Las Vegas wasn't like in
the picture. Really. We were kind of thinking about the
picks ahead, like uh, like, I mean I thought maybe
like the Saints of the Colts my my draft me
because they had like because the Raiders were thirteenth and
then the I think the Saints were fourteenth, and then
(01:37:38):
the Colts were fifteenth, and then I was like we
kind of moved past the Raiders, and all of a sudden,
I call. It was like Lost Vegas to that. I'm like,
so I picked this up and he's like, oh yeah,
pick it up.
Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
I'm like, okay, I should I picked this up.
Speaker 2 (01:37:48):
I was freaking out.
Speaker 1 (01:37:50):
Yeah, Michael, yeah, yeah, yeah, back back.
Speaker 3 (01:37:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:37:55):
Mike's the man though, he's awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:37:56):
You said the Saints, the two teams, Saints of the Culture,
the two teams that you were like, oh, this is
probably where all go.
Speaker 2 (01:38:01):
Yeah, well, because we got past the Broncos pick at twelve,
and then it's like the Raiders, and then it was
Saints and Colts.
Speaker 1 (01:38:08):
Any doubt keep in your mind when the Bronco was
passed up.
Speaker 2 (01:38:11):
I'm in a little bit because I knew that was
kind of like a possibility. But I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
When you're when you're having these how many how many
Top thirty visits? Did you have?
Speaker 2 (01:38:23):
Just three?
Speaker 1 (01:38:24):
Okay? Three? Easy lightlift for you?
Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
Yeah? Yeah, and who are those three? I went to Chicago,
the Jets and the Chargers.
Speaker 1 (01:38:32):
Of those three, we were like, it would be cool
to go here here, Like if you had to rate those.
Speaker 3 (01:38:36):
Three experiences, definitely, I mean, I guess Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 1 (01:38:42):
Yeah, but Jet Chicago and the Chargers, like Chargers have
never been looked at as a great franchise. Maybe they're
in La Chicago's like.
Speaker 3 (01:38:52):
The Chargers voice had some fun tight ends though.
Speaker 1 (01:38:55):
You got Herbert, got Herbert and got Harball Yeah Harball, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:39:00):
But you just and then living in San Diego.
Speaker 1 (01:39:03):
That hasn't been I think.
Speaker 3 (01:39:07):
When it came off my when it came off my tone.
Speaker 1 (01:39:12):
Yeah, but those those three were you're like, oh, this
would be an awesome place to go to would you like,
were you just look at the Chargers you're yeah, I
don't necessarily want to be in l A.
Speaker 2 (01:39:19):
But it'd be cool to be back home in California. Yeah,
that was definitely cool. I mean I was definitely thinking
about it. I was like, the weather would be awesome obviously,
and it would be nice to, you know, be that
close to home. But I wasn't really I wouldn't really
be looking forward like the California Texas obviously. Yeah, you
get you're definitely yeah, yeah, yeah, then like Chicago was
(01:39:40):
was all right, I'm not really like I said, I
don't really like to cold that much. I don't know
how much i'd enjoy that. And same with the Jets.
Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
Yeah you're a weather guy, yeah, big weather. Probably those
are the two things that get your goat.
Speaker 2 (01:39:54):
Huh yeah pretty much. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:39:55):
If he free agency, then cold weather teams are gonna
have to They're gonna have to pay premium, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (01:40:00):
Seems like you technically went to the best place for you. Yeah,
from a warm climate, no state income tax, close to home,
close to home.
Speaker 2 (01:40:07):
Yeah, it's kind of crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:40:08):
Everybody wants to come see you.
Speaker 2 (01:40:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know it kind of worked
out for the best pretty much.
Speaker 3 (01:40:13):

(01:40:35):
and clean. Dude Wipes the goat of cleaning your keyster.
Available on Amazon and at Walmart nationwide. Dude Wipes best
clean pants down. Oh, I thought i'd have one. I
thought i'd have one. I really want to do a
press JP.
Speaker 1 (01:40:54):
Back to the episode, you don't seem like a guy
that is distracted very easily from the main thing. But
being a rookie in Las Vegas, Nevada, Yeah, it's You've
got to see some of your boys just kind of
falling to a temptation a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:41:07):
Yeah, gosh, I can't really. It really wasn't too bad.
Speaker 7 (01:41:13):
Really, I mean we.
Speaker 2 (01:41:15):
Maybe some dudes did a little bit, but uh, for
the most part. I feel like most of the rookies
last year were pretty like calm and like pretty about
football because I think everyone's just kind of like when
you need to make when you to stay on the team,
and because you only one shot at it, so everyone's
kind of like freaking out and it doesn't really want
to do anything too crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:41:31):
It's kind of what we talked about earlier before we
got on the bus. I brob, you're just a guy
that like understands like how long this this thing is
not gonna last forever? And you see, like a dude,
it's trying to make the most of it is you
put Are you putting an unreasonable expectation on yourself going
into your rookie year being the first round draft pick,
trying to you know, raise a franchise back up? Everyone's
kind of been like this kid's gonna.
Speaker 3 (01:41:51):
Stay with us.
Speaker 1 (01:41:52):
Do you feel any of that pressure?
Speaker 2 (01:41:54):
I mean, I mean you see all the media stuff
and you're like, oh, man, like I mean getting lam
if you're not doing good, and then everyone loves you
when you're doing great. So it's kind of it's kind
of funny how that goes. But uh, I mean I
had no clouds getna do. I came into practice, I
was like, I mean, you everyone's getting paid to play,
So I mean, you lose some reps, you win something,
(01:42:14):
and sometimes I'm out there, I'm like, man, I suck
like I'm not winning. I'm not winning these reps. I
suck like I should be winning. So that kind of
like puts them down in my mind. But I feel
like sometimes like the doubt kind of fuel fuel me to,
you know, do better and like work harder. So it
kind of it kind of helps a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:42:30):
What was the biggest thing for you, like going into
an OTAs, like that was the biggest change from college football?
Speaker 3 (01:42:36):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:42:36):
Man, I'd say the practices are just way different and
like kinda it's just way different because in college I
feel like the coaches are trying to push you so
hard and because that they have to, and then in
the in the NFL, they're kind of like, either you
do it or you're gonna get cut, Like we don't
really care that much. We have we can have your
replacement here tomorrow. So it's kind of like a different
(01:42:56):
mindset out of the coaches and the players. So it's
it's pretty It's a lot is it like an intensity
of practice thing. Yeah, that too.
Speaker 3 (01:43:03):
I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:43:05):
There's I mean that you get way more reps in college.
I mean you point o, uh but yeah, I mean
I remember I was I would be dying after fall
camp at at Georgia, like, I mean, they worked us
to the bone and uh but I mean in the NFL,
you you only take so many reps, but they're like
full speed, so it's kind of like a different workload.
Speaker 3 (01:43:23):
I feel like when you're you're talking earlier, like sometimes
you're down yourself in practice, like, man, I should win
this rep? Are you thinking you should win every rep
against Max Crosby when you.
Speaker 2 (01:43:33):
Have to block, I mean, I'm gonna try. But he's tough. Dude,
He's tough. He's tough to block.
Speaker 3 (01:43:38):
He's a savage and down door.
Speaker 2 (01:43:40):
Yeah, oh dude, he jumps around. He like even at
practice he'll I mean I swear he looks at our,
at our like that what we're doing, and he like
dissects or what we're lined up in and I mean
it's nuts, Like he takes everything so seriously and it's
it's so awesome to like see him work.
Speaker 3 (01:43:57):
I think it was this past season, like during training camp,
they to remove them from practice so that way the
offense could clunction a little bit better.
Speaker 2 (01:44:04):
Yeah, like in like run game and stuff, it was
a little it was a little dice sometimes because he'd
be jumping around, jumping in the sea gap, like running
the edge, like he get in the backfield so fast
it's not even.
Speaker 3 (01:44:14):
And you're thinking he's got the script, like this is bullshit.
Speaker 2 (01:44:16):
Oh yeah. Sometimes the defense is looking the script.
Speaker 3 (01:44:20):
That's such. That's a real thing.
Speaker 1 (01:44:23):
If you go to the equipment room, there's a script,
the offensive script that will have the plays on there.
And I always catch defensive guys looking and being like, okay,
these three parts are passes, are runs.
Speaker 3 (01:44:32):
But it probably it's it's the same on the other
side too.
Speaker 1 (01:44:35):
Do you feel like when it's a when it's a
scripted day, the defense always does better all of a
sudden the coach, Hey, you know what, put the ball
on the ground. All of a sudden, the offense is Yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (01:44:45):
Always a little better. I think it's a little bit better.
Speaker 1 (01:44:48):
Yeah, all right, Crosby is a cheater. That's the clip
right there.
Speaker 3 (01:44:55):
It's hey, what have got to come in and learn
from too? Though, Like as far as just habits as
at being a pro. Like this dude is twenty four
to seven locked in the ball in their early out
late like seriously, Like that's a good VET to come
into and basically see how the game works.
Speaker 2 (01:45:10):
Yeah. No, it's pretty crazy because I remember we were
like the rookie stuff. They have us do so much
extra stuff like rookie wise, like you know, during ot
and stuff. Yeah, I remember that having coming on like Friday,
and like Friday's like the off day for the Vets.
He'd be in there same time, like five thirty six am,
just getting his work out in, getting his rehabit. So
it's pretty crazy his work ethic.
Speaker 3 (01:45:31):
He's a grinder, bro. Yeah, he's a fucking grinder for anything.
What was your rookie year? Like, as far as you know,
you you you only played for coach Pierce for one year. Now,
you've went through coaching change obviously, something you're not used
to coming from a place like Georgia. You only lose
two games in your entire career, and all of a sudden,
you're playing for the Raiders and you guys are having
the year that you're having something that you're not used to.
(01:45:54):
Coach gets fired at the end of the year. But
what were the vibes like throughout the season from your
lens being a rookie, just trying to keep your head
on a swivel.
Speaker 2 (01:46:02):
Yeah, I know it was tough because, uh I me,
when we come in, we go, we go too and
two to start the year and then we lost. We
lost ten games straight right in the middle of the year,
So that was it was definitely, that was That was
the longest like ten weeks ever. It was awful. But
you know, everyone, I feel like we have some great
dudes on the team, so that that kind of helped
helped kind of keep going eat week to week, I mean,
(01:46:24):
because the dudes were all still in it and try
to win games. Yeah, helps a little bit, but it
still sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:46:30):
When did you guys kind of feel that ap might
be on his way out?
Speaker 2 (01:46:37):
I mean it was I don't know. It was kind
of hard to say because, uh, I mean, all the
guy I seemed to like him, and he I thought
he was. I thought he was he was a good
coach and uh.
Speaker 3 (01:46:45):
I mean he was an interim head. He was an
interim head coach hired like definitely, the players were all
for him.
Speaker 1 (01:46:50):
The Raiders were dealing with that for a couple of
years though, because your boy, besides he was interim head
coach and everyone was clamoring to keep him. He ends
up not staying, and then the second time with a p.
Speaker 3 (01:46:59):
Yeah, then a then McDaniels gets canned. Mark ap takes over.
Kind of emulates the same kind of thing that Basaci did,
so all the the fan base and everybody's there again like, hey,
we have another interim head coach that just that just
ad hell of a job, like, don't fuck this up
the second time around. He obviously had a short leash,
(01:47:21):
but you know how, it's just like you get in
the season, you go in a ten game losing streak,
locker room starts talking a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:47:28):
He's probably just like this is this is just a
game over your rookie year, Like there's a whole bunch
of shit going on. Yeah, and you're really just trying
to keep your head above water. The whole time. You
kept your head above water better than everybody else. But
it is one of those things where every every week
you like learning something new about yourself. You're playing a
new team, these are new jerseys that you grew up
watching you like, how sick is this? We're playing whoever,
(01:47:50):
it doesn't matter the Jets. That's like, yeah, the team
is not great, but like I get to play the
Jets this week. And so all this bullshit noise is
kind of going on about AP You're probably never being like,
how do I just continue to keep elevating myself?
Speaker 2 (01:48:02):
Yeah the whole time? Oh man, Yeah, I don't know.
I think. I mean, like I said, all the dude,
all the dudes were pretty good. Dude, it's an awful video.
We had the rookie dance off. How'd you do You're
about to see? It was electric?
Speaker 3 (01:48:16):
He was nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:48:18):
Yeah, I hate stuff like that. Yeah, getting up like singing,
like singing in front of the group.
Speaker 3 (01:48:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:48:25):
Yeah, all the guys are like, all right, yeah, we're getting.
Speaker 3 (01:48:34):
It just starts.
Speaker 2 (01:48:35):
Everyone's shaking their head. You know, you just got to
commit and do it.
Speaker 3 (01:48:40):
And yeah, I don't know, yeah do you guys? Is
the man?
Speaker 1 (01:48:44):
Isn't He's the man?
Speaker 3 (01:48:46):
Bro? Oh, I don't know, there it is?
Speaker 2 (01:48:51):
Yeah, thank god you went first, right, Yeah, I've been
awful going a second.
Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
Yeah, that's been tough. That is that is wild. So
at what point are you thinking to yourself, Oh, I
might set a record for receiving yards. I might be
able to kind of break some records as a rookie
tight end. And then I mean you're fast forward to here.
You like you're sitting in the same room with George Kittle,
Travis Kelsey, Greg Olson, like these legends and they you
have a better record than them in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (01:49:21):
It's crazy. Yeah, it's exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
It's insane. Actually, I mean I was. I was trying
the hardest not to think about it, but at the
same time, when you see everything, like you know, you're
getting tagged and stuff, and you're like, oh man, he
might he might like break these records stuff, And like,
I mean, it's pretty crazy. I've seeing all that and like,
looking back on it's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (01:49:38):
I guess play fantasy football, No, I don't. He just
drafts himself this year.
Speaker 1 (01:49:47):
He understands you got to get into fantasy football. It's
it's a lot of fun. Was that Did that ever
happen to you this year? Will you get the fantasy
football tweet like you let my team down?
Speaker 3 (01:49:59):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:49:59):
Yeah, yeah, I'd have like a I had like a
really good week and then the next week I'd like
I mean, like, let's going maybe like six or seven
fantasy points, and people will be like, like I traded
for him and now he sucks, Like what is happening
and all that stuff. I'm like, I'm like, I don't care.
I don't can't control some stuff that happens.
Speaker 3 (01:50:16):
People some quality stuff for cat like you. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:50:19):
Yeah, that's how people get upset because when their guys
have a better year and it's you the.
Speaker 3 (01:50:23):
Way the we brought crushes it. That's a cat you're
trading two pieces for. Yeah, so when you get him
on the squad, you're expecting some results, especially.
Speaker 1 (01:50:30):
On the team of the limit limited amount of resources.
It's like this is really their weapon.
Speaker 2 (01:50:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:50:34):
And usually trade like that that happens. It's usually during
a make or break part of the year. Yeah, So
I can understand the fans at this, oh s.
Speaker 1 (01:50:43):
Saying Will gave me smoke for drafting him in our
Workley fantasy for draft. Is that true?
Speaker 3 (01:50:49):
Is that true?
Speaker 2 (01:50:49):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (01:50:52):
I remember something I did but the show. But for
the show, I said it was Will.
Speaker 1 (01:50:59):
When you look back at your body of work from
this past year, what's like one thing in your mind
that like six outs you that you have to work
on to elevate your game even more.
Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
I mean it's hard to say. I mean I just
like to, Like I said, I'm just really big in
to like win every single rep and like trying to
do that in off season, like during OTAs, I'm trying
to do that, and it just like it pissed me
off when I don't do that. So it just kind
of pushed me to get better in every single facet,
I think, because I feel like there's not one thing
that I did like great, but not one thing I'd
like super super bad. So I'm just trying to elevate
(01:51:31):
everything really.
Speaker 1 (01:51:31):
Yeah, yeah, Steady, stay in the course. Yeah, your run
game's about your run game, your fits. Who were going
to those?
Speaker 2 (01:51:38):
It all those pretty smor o, Yeah, no, we got
we got to work on those for sure. Yeah, we're
gonna get better. We're gonna get better.
Speaker 1 (01:51:42):
You a big gap scheme guy or like an outside
zone type of guy.
Speaker 3 (01:51:45):
What do you like more?
Speaker 2 (01:51:47):
I don't know. I think outside zone get him running
a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:51:50):
Yeah, the outside zone is definitely.
Speaker 2 (01:51:52):
Yeah, it definitely makes it a little a little easier
to block some of those bigger guys, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (01:51:56):
Yeah, I mean when you got if you're in a
gap scheme and you have a six up on you
on your own, you know, the tackle was not there
to help you. That's a that's a tall order, yeah,
for you to take in and have to handle for
a play coming right.
Speaker 2 (01:52:05):
Especially because I'm not I'm not the biggest guy, and
they're always they're always outweighed me by East Mount Usually
we got here, we got a little This is you
playing Scout team defense team linebacker.
Speaker 3 (01:52:16):
Very nice?
Speaker 1 (01:52:17):
Oh yeah, I thought you were tight end right there.
About his run fit, his hands were wide. Helm needs
to be a little more outside. He's got to stretch
that guy a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (01:52:25):
How is it with Pete Carroll? Oh he's been awesome,
pretty iconic. Oh yeah, no, he brings the juice. Yeah,
he's awesome. He uh, I mean we're having to shoot
offs in the team room like tem meeting and everything,
and uh at practice out there on the ground wrestling dudes.
It's it's pretty funny.
Speaker 3 (01:52:39):
I saw him in like the bubble little bubble thing.
Speaker 2 (01:52:42):
They brought the hamster ball out. Yeah, yeah, that was
pretty funny.
Speaker 1 (01:52:46):
His energy is unmastered. He's in his seventies right, Yeah. Yeah,
he's in his seventies. He was at USC when I
was in nice school and I remember going to like
a junior camp. It was an all star junior camp
and I saw him and I was like, coach Carol,
great to meet you. Put my hand out. He like
slashsed my hand out of the way and gives me
a hug. And I was seeing to myself, please fucking
off for me. I'll come in on the spot right
(01:53:07):
Like he just has the juice, dude, he has it all.
And you hear everywhere he goes, like we had clay
On and he was talking about all the Shenanigans that
took place. Then people in Seattle are seeing the same things.
And now you're seeing the hamster ball and all the rest,
and like when does this guy slow down?
Speaker 3 (01:53:22):
Yeah, cause you.
Speaker 1 (01:53:23):
Gotta after the year year you guys had last year,
getting the running back you just got, you gotta feel
pretty optimistic about going into the season and a deadly division.
Speaker 3 (01:53:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:53:31):
No, I'm excited. I'm excited. I feel like we added
some some good pieces and everything, and uh like the
new some of the new coaching staff too, that they've
been they've been awesome. So I'm excited to see what happens.
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:53:41):
How is it with the Asha Genty. He seems like
he's going to be a beast.
Speaker 2 (01:53:44):
Yeah, No, I think he will be. I think he
will be. He Uh, I mean he has all the
stuff you need. I mean Washington Boys State last year.
I was like, dude, I always hoping he had won
the Heisman. I was really hoping for him. But uh,
YEH know, he's awesome. He's an awesome dude too.
Speaker 3 (01:53:57):
What's the cultural difference with between AP and Coach Carroll? Yeah,
with the success that Coach Carroll's had, you know he's had,
like he's got history as well. You Dan Quinn came
from his tree and you just hear about the way
that these guys build culture. What have you seen difference
wise between those two?
Speaker 2 (01:54:17):
Oh, man, I mean that they're uh, they're pretty different.
I'd say, uh. I feel like coach Coach Carroll's doing
a really good job kind of pulling everyone together and
kind of getting everyone more involved with the team and
his big themes competitions, Like every day after practice we'll
be doing like that. We're doing like a like a
tip off, like a tip drill, like a basketball tip
off and everything, like bringing two dudes out, so it's
(01:54:37):
it's always fun and then but no, ap, he was awesome.
He was a Drew players coach. He uh, I mean yeah,
he was always working with us and everything.
Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
So yeah, yeah, being a former linebacker probably tough.
Speaker 2 (01:54:48):
Nos. Oh yeah, yeah, he we got after him.
Speaker 3 (01:54:51):
Yeah, yeah, that was awesome with coach Carroll in there,
like a different theme every day. Maybe that'll come in season,
but yeah, here's whether it's like turn over Tuesday, like
he's always got some theme every day.
Speaker 2 (01:55:02):
Yeah, I think I've heard about that. I think he
does do that during during the year.
Speaker 3 (01:55:05):
During camp competition Wednesday. Yeah, yeah, he mentioned that a
couple of times. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:55:10):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:55:11):
He seems like a lot of fun. Man. He still
rocked the Monarchs. He's still rocking the Monarchs.
Speaker 1 (01:55:18):
Those looks like JP shoes right there, he said, right there,
they kind of look very similar. You gotta have a
hell of a deal if he's under that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:55:32):
Oh yeah, Chip Kelly's out there.
Speaker 1 (01:55:34):
That's there was a there was a right, there was
a big news story that came out of the O
T Did you hear about it? For the Raiders Ashton Genty.
Chip Kelly said, as Genty is not allowed to have
his stand up stance, he's gotta earn it.
Speaker 2 (01:55:49):
You Actually, well, it was.
Speaker 1 (01:55:51):
More like like we are football players, are an athletic
stance and if you're standing up, we don't want that,
And so Genty was like, I guess quota being like,
I guess I got to earn having my senses. He's
got that iconic just kind of like stand there, which
I think is so badass. Yeah, just being to stand
there just run for eighty.
Speaker 2 (01:56:08):
Yeah did you. I love the title on it too.
It's like we're not doing the the uniforms do go
so hard?
Speaker 3 (01:56:17):
Yeah, bro, what's it like playing for the Silver and Black?
Speaker 2 (01:56:20):
It's just awesome. I mean growing I grew up in Napa, so, uh,
like we were pretty close to Oakland. Obviously we're like
an hour away, I think, so there are a lot
of Oakland fans like growing up where I was and everything.
So now the fans are awesome though. They're the best. Yeah,
they're the best.
Speaker 3 (01:56:37):
It's like Halloween every week and the way everybody there. Yeah,
the stadium is nuts too.
Speaker 2 (01:56:42):
Yeah, now the stadium is super nice. Uh, but it's
like it's such a destination city that like other fans
like pick a game in the calendar, they're always gonna
go to Vegas. Like, so it's kinda we get a
lot more away fans than I think other teams do usually.
Speaker 3 (01:56:55):
So you're saying you need a you're saying it right now,
you need a stronger home crowd.
Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
They show up, They show up. But uh, but it
definitely we definitely draw some way crowds for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:57:07):
Just being being in Vegas in that stadium isou was
crazy at the at the Oakland Stadium.
Speaker 1 (01:57:13):
I don't know which side of which end zone it was,
but like in the fourth quarter it would be like
a cloud of smoke and you basically getting contact. Yeah,
all the people smoke.
Speaker 3 (01:57:21):
Do you guys have that?
Speaker 1 (01:57:22):
Is there one side of the stadium that's like I'm
definitely a little bit cooked right now.
Speaker 2 (01:57:26):
I know we don't really have it on the field.
They must I don't know they must have.
Speaker 3 (01:57:32):
I don't know what they do, because I've definitely smoked
from the field in Oakland.
Speaker 1 (01:57:35):
Yeah, yeah, because Oakland went hard with hard.
Speaker 2 (01:57:38):
Remember I went to two games in Oakland when I
was young, and I remember it was pretty nuts, like
just that smell, like, oh god, you.
Speaker 1 (01:57:47):
Stay close the whole time we took like the bar
and black and gray face Priant. Yeah, he's just happy
to be there, so fucking hard for the brand.
Speaker 3 (01:58:00):
Who's who was an opponent you were most excited to play,
like going into the NFL. Man, we're kind of like
sitting out there and you're like, man, this is sick.
Speaker 14 (01:58:10):
No.
Speaker 3 (01:58:10):
Yeah, well, the.
Speaker 2 (01:58:11):
First real game is when we played like like the
first Railer season games when we played the Chargers, and
I remember my first play and I had to wrap
back and go blok khalil Mack. And I remember like
I was like, damn, that's pretty sick. Like I grew
up like no, like watching him and everything. Man, Yeah, yeah,
I remember. I kind of like I kind of missed
(01:58:32):
him little bit. I might have got like maybe like
a tiny piece of him. He hes like he said
something like that was soft or something like that. I
was like, I was like, yes, sir, sorry, trying to
block you. I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:58:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:58:43):
And he explaining against his old team too. You know
those guys always have a chip on their shoulder.
Speaker 2 (01:58:47):
Yeah, when they played their old team.
Speaker 1 (01:58:50):
Obviously, this is tight end tighten you week. There's a
lot of like legendary tight ends here. When you were
growing up and figured out that you're going to be
a tight end, this is gonna be the position that
you're to make a home with. What are some guys
you modeled your game after it that you looked up to?
Speaker 2 (01:59:02):
No, man, I say in high school, I mean watching
Kittle and Kelsey, like they've been around a while and
watched I watched them throughout high school, like it was.
It was. It's pretty cool to get to know them
and kind of be a part of this now. But
like growing up when I was a little I love
watching Gronk. He was I never watched him. It was awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:59:20):
Is it fun having him out there yesterday?
Speaker 2 (01:59:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:59:23):
He's so funny, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:59:24):
Yeah, he's awesome. He's awesome. He's exactly what you see
on Yeah, on everything. It's funny.
Speaker 1 (01:59:29):
What was it was? What was it like for you
meeting Kelsey, Kittle and Gronk, Like, yeah, it's a little
star struck.
Speaker 2 (01:59:36):
Oh yeah for sure. Yeah. I was a little like
freaking out at first. I don't know, I don't know.
I was like because I grew up, grew up watching him.
Speaker 3 (01:59:42):
I was like it while too to have the year
that you had and you're essentially like a peer. Yeah them,
Like your game is like you know, I'm slow to
say like on their level, but just from last year,
you're like on that level.
Speaker 1 (01:59:56):
Yeah, from last year technically is better than them.
Speaker 3 (01:59:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:59:59):
Yeah, just about your body of work.
Speaker 3 (02:00:01):
But ain't that nuts, dude? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:00:03):
No, it's insane to think about, like growing up Washington
really looking up to him and kind of being not
being like just one of the guys. Now, it's kind
of It's pretty crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:00:12):
If you could take one thing from Kelsey, Kittle and
uh Gronk, was one thing you take from each of
them to elevate your game?
Speaker 2 (02:00:20):
Uh, Kittle probably, I mean he's got the tanasty when
he's blocking, I mean he's nasty, and uh he's a
really good blocker, I think, and just effort wise to downfield.
He's awesome to watch play. And then Kelsey just getting open,
feeling voids and that's that's all. I mean, he's he
does such a good job of that. It's like feeling
open space and just getting open. And then Gronk, I
(02:00:42):
mean like running running after the cash. It's it's pretty
fun to watch him.
Speaker 1 (02:00:47):
Yeah, he's a yeah, he's having him on and just
he's just a bro.
Speaker 3 (02:00:52):
Yeah, he is awesome to be around. There was oh
breaking down his yack where Yeah, I feel like that film. Yeah,
so funny. It was like how you teach yack right,
don't get tackled in the room. Yeah, like the meeting room,
you guys going where you all introduce yourself and everybody
(02:01:13):
kind of goes over a different topic. Gronk went up
and was talking about yak and they would have film
pulled up on it. You can't just stand up there
and you know, he would just like make a comment
start laughing. He's like, you know, second effort.
Speaker 8 (02:01:28):
He's like, he's like I was on the stydeline, so
I used my left arm to stiff arm him and
I just saw the next guy and I duked him.
Speaker 7 (02:01:38):
It was a touchdown. I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (02:01:42):
Gro like write that.
Speaker 1 (02:01:43):
Down stiff arm and some guys those are just built
so different.
Speaker 3 (02:01:53):
What had to be tough you we were talking about
the night last night. Boys love to stay out late,
but you kind of capt it off after the concert.
Gotta be tough turning that down.
Speaker 2 (02:02:02):
Yeah, Yeah, No, I mean one hung out for a
little bit. I don't know, let's get tired, you know.
Speaker 3 (02:02:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:02:09):
I'm not like you know, I'm not like the most
like outgoing person. I'm not gonna be going up to everyone,
you know. I'm kind of more reserved. So I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:02:19):
Yeah, you were you rocking a cowboy last night?
Speaker 2 (02:02:21):
No, I actually wasn't.
Speaker 1 (02:02:22):
I was.
Speaker 2 (02:02:23):
I didn't really have room in my bag to pack
any jeans or boots or anything, so I just kind
of wore shorts and hookas.
Speaker 1 (02:02:32):
He's coming to work, Yeah, coming to work.
Speaker 3 (02:02:34):
What are we thinking with the future of of your hair?
You're thinking? Oh, you know, you're thinking you're gonna let
it go. At some point, you're gonna go, you know,
Kirk Cousins, some of these guys who go to Turkey, Yeah,
get the I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:02:48):
Anything's kind of up in the air. I don't know,
figure it out soon.
Speaker 3 (02:02:52):
Yeah. I don't know you that well, but I feel like,
you know, as as as one of the boys. Yeah,
you're gonna have to make a decision. You know, some
of these posts photos, it's tough. You're representing a white squad.
Speaker 1 (02:03:03):
Yeah, I kind of mess with it. I kind of
mess with it, keeping what you should do phys physy
look like you should probably do the plug thing at
a later day. Three four years, that boy ride for
a little bit and maybe even like buy in and
do the full cul de sac like that and keep
it and just be like this guy is years.
Speaker 7 (02:03:26):
There's a brand behind it somewhere.
Speaker 13 (02:03:28):
There's a brand behind you know, the could de sack
look like you just go look the brand a little Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:03:40):
No, you know what I mean this?
Speaker 1 (02:03:41):
Yeah, yeah, the better Franklin can I can I see
the again?
Speaker 2 (02:03:45):
Oh yeah, some before he's got to own it, you know,
I don't know what happen like, it's just kind of like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:03:50):
I think you I think you take the light the
parts where it's light. You just shave that part off
and keep whatever's left. You talk about so you talk about, yeah,
this is one of the best tight ends in the
league with that kind of cow three looks like.
Speaker 1 (02:04:06):
It's good kids, all fucking ball twenty four. That could
be a fun little move.
Speaker 2 (02:04:11):
Yeah, so you're gonna do it. We'll see, We'll see.
Speaker 3 (02:04:16):
I don't know, dude, you have to Yeah, you rock
that cut. Yeah, and after every game, before you do interviews,
you just have to have just a simple polo on
or you think like a like a T shirt with
like the T shirt, you can mix it up.
Speaker 1 (02:04:30):
I like that. Yeah, I think I like the idea
of going a little more redneck with it, like just
kind of own it. Like this guy just shows up
on Sunday.
Speaker 7 (02:04:38):
I wander renfro gets back in the league this year too.
This would be a nice little duo.
Speaker 1 (02:04:42):
Yeah, you guys should be in a couple of shampoo
commercials together. If they don't want to advertise about that, maybe.
Speaker 7 (02:04:50):
It's like the Rocks shampoo brand. Yeah he has all right, Yeah, what.
Speaker 1 (02:04:55):
Are you doing a lot of opportunity with that hair,
A lot of opportunity. Oh yeah, when did it start
to what did you notice? Was it your sophomore high school?
Speaker 2 (02:05:04):
Yeah, I mean pretty close. I don't know, was it
really well, the thing, the thing that I actually think
happened was was it everyone had a diet, Like I
don't know, I don't really know if this closip like
basically everyone bleached their head like in uh, like sophoming
your high school, Like we were doing really bad in
football and everyone was like, oh, like the sophomore has
got to bleach their bleacher head yellow, and I was like, okay, sure,
(02:05:25):
I like burnt Miley Scalp And I was like, I
think that might have been What did it? I don't know,
could be completely off. Could it be a natural thing,
but you never know, could just be a natural thing.
Speaker 1 (02:05:33):
What do you do here, firm?
Speaker 5 (02:05:36):
Give him a mullet?
Speaker 1 (02:05:39):
Yeah, let's see that.
Speaker 7 (02:05:40):
Yeah, I like to the corn bread cowboy.
Speaker 10 (02:05:42):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (02:05:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:05:45):
God, if you weren't doing football, what do you think
you'd be into? What would you what would you be
doing with construction?
Speaker 15 (02:05:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:05:52):
Mom, And that's that's what my dad. That's what my
dad kind of does. I mean, I was thinking like
firefighter or something.
Speaker 1 (02:05:58):
Yeah, something like that.
Speaker 2 (02:05:59):
Yeah, of a firefighter. I think I like that, just
you know, hanging out and then working, you would.
Speaker 3 (02:06:11):
Working.
Speaker 2 (02:06:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:06:12):
Ye what did you go to school for.
Speaker 2 (02:06:16):
Business? Real estate? Okay?
Speaker 3 (02:06:18):
Yeah? Did you get your degree? Yeah? I did.
Speaker 2 (02:06:19):
I went back. I went back in the off season.
Actually that's lost office. Yeah, that's all I was doing
this off season. Did you walk? Yeah? My mom had
me walk. Yeah, my mom one one that I had
to do it for my mom.
Speaker 1 (02:06:30):
I had to do it for my mom. Yeah, unfortunately
for your mom. You never have to use that degree, all.
Speaker 3 (02:06:36):
Right, knock on wood though, no doubt though out there.
If you had your ideal career length, what would it be.
Speaker 2 (02:06:46):
That's tough to say. I'm gonna just gonna ride it
till it's till it's over with. I don't know. I mean,
first to me, tough like some dudes, like they said
they know one to stop. I think that's gonna be tough. Yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:06:58):
I don't know. Did you end up getting that Ai
going s.
Speaker 1 (02:07:04):
That's the thing about the wife on this bus.
Speaker 3 (02:07:06):
Yeah, it struggles sometimes. You have expectations, expectations for this
coming season.
Speaker 2 (02:07:14):
I mean it's playing to win some more games.
Speaker 3 (02:07:16):
Yeah, we'll see division dude, it is a tough divisions.
Speaker 2 (02:07:20):
Yeah, there's some there's some good players in that.
Speaker 3 (02:07:22):
You guys got better, a lot to be excited about.
But you just also think about Denver.
Speaker 1 (02:07:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:07:29):
Yeah, the Chiefs again, they're pissed off San Diego Chargers.
Speaker 1 (02:07:34):
They're getting better.
Speaker 2 (02:07:35):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:07:39):
Herbert Horrball, Yeah, it was crazy.
Speaker 2 (02:07:42):
It was crazy to turn on they had though, like
from because the year before, like they did, they they
weren't very good in the division. Were they.
Speaker 6 (02:07:51):
That?
Speaker 3 (02:07:51):
When they make the coat that. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:07:54):
Yeah, hardball came in.
Speaker 1 (02:07:56):
It shows you man, Yeah, for sure, a great culture
guy hit him with butt Like question to you, so
you understand that obviously anyone would do anything for a
butt light? Yeah, what's one thing that you would do
anything for?
Speaker 2 (02:08:11):
I can't say family, one thing I do anything for?
Oh gosh, could be anything.
Speaker 1 (02:08:20):
Anything like Clay Matthews said, win the lottery. Steve Vanella said,
make a documentary. He wouldn't tell us the topic we
were off camera. Some I will make this documentary.
Speaker 2 (02:08:32):
At one point in my life, the first thing I
thought of is like, no, I seen like if you
know steak dinners, I want to steak dinner, steak.
Speaker 3 (02:08:42):
Do anything for a steak dinner.
Speaker 1 (02:08:45):
Dinner, Like if you want to get a steak for
every single meal?
Speaker 2 (02:08:49):
Yeah, I don't know. That was the first in my mind.
Speaker 7 (02:08:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:08:52):
Gold jacket loading loading keep it said, the kiss method.
Speaker 3 (02:09:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:09:01):
I wonder if there's a futures in FanDuel about you
being a Hall of Famer, because we need to put
it in right now. We need to put it in
right all.
Speaker 3 (02:09:16):
Yeah, yeah, take as.
Speaker 7 (02:09:18):
A chef or do you make it?
Speaker 1 (02:09:20):
You know?
Speaker 2 (02:09:20):
I mean, I'm not the best. I'm not the best cook.
I don't have a chef though.
Speaker 7 (02:09:24):
I just need the facility, got you?
Speaker 1 (02:09:26):
Yeah, so you just you do anything boxes here that
stire from stacked in the fridge.
Speaker 2 (02:09:31):
I mean you say it's dinner, I'll drive back from
the house and just go pick up dinner. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:09:35):
Do you do anything for a steak the raiders facility?
Speaker 2 (02:09:43):
I mean yeah, yeah, I mean where anywhere.
Speaker 1 (02:09:45):
I don't know, whatever's good, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (02:09:47):
How do you like your steak medium, rare medium somewhere there?
Speaker 3 (02:09:51):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (02:09:51):
That's a good pick A big medium guy.
Speaker 3 (02:09:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:09:54):
I don't know why, but I was trying to be
to the medium rare, more rare guy for a while.
Speaker 3 (02:09:59):
This is not for me.
Speaker 2 (02:10:00):
I get a little nerves at some places, like you
can kind of like tell someplaces good a little rare.
So I'll be like medium, just because you know, yeah,
you don't want it to too bad to uh any
phoix fix he fixes you.
Speaker 3 (02:10:14):
Did you do anything for.
Speaker 2 (02:10:16):
Mashed potatoes or French fries like the steak steak fries
or whatever however you said, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:10:25):
You go to breakfast steak and eggs. No, not really,
breakfast Okay.
Speaker 1 (02:10:30):
Yeah, he's in a manifesting.
Speaker 3 (02:10:35):
He has breakfast forever. You ever hit the tables out
there in Vegas?
Speaker 2 (02:10:41):
Yeah, I think I've only played black jack like once,
but I've played Crabs like a couple of times. Craps
is a fun game, like with like a group of people.
It's like when when when someone's won, everyone's winning.
Speaker 1 (02:10:50):
It's like, yeah, the social part of Crafts is so awesome.
Speaker 3 (02:10:52):
Somebody get hot.
Speaker 7 (02:10:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:10:53):
I just feel like every time I play Craps, it's
like somebody rolls the number and the next number every
time he like, what do we I guess they just
take that down, Okay, and somebody else rolls the same
thing over and over again.
Speaker 3 (02:11:03):
One game.
Speaker 1 (02:11:04):
You gotta get into Bacarrot.
Speaker 2 (02:11:06):
Yeah, I've heard that people love that.
Speaker 1 (02:11:07):
That is the game best odds, best odds, And it's
like if we're sitting at a table playing blackjack, you
could win, Will could lose, and I could win. It's
like we're happy we won, but we'll lost. On bacara
we can all bet on the same thing. We get
the same two cards, so it's like we're like winning
and losing together, which makes it more like keeps that
social like craps kind of gives you like you're playing
as a team, which is awesome.
Speaker 8 (02:11:30):
What was your your first off season, obviously with some
NFL money, What was the vacation if you took time off.
I don't know if you did or not, but what
is the ideal brock Bours vacation?
Speaker 2 (02:11:42):
Oh man, well's uh I got? You said this off season? Well,
I went to Arkansas for like a week or two,
duck hunt a little bit, let's go dude, And after
that I went back to school, so it kind of
didn't really have much time. Uh went to the NFL
p a gall golf event and uh mia coat and
(02:12:02):
can't coun Nice? That was nice. Free trip, Yeah, free trip,
that was nice. That was super nice. Other than that,
I mean just played golf, hung out in Georgia. That
was about it. Nothing crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:12:13):
What was your first your most expensive purchase?
Speaker 6 (02:12:16):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (02:12:19):
Like like I got a house. I got a house?
Okay out in Vegas?
Speaker 2 (02:12:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:12:25):
Nice?
Speaker 2 (02:12:25):
Man made it easy.
Speaker 3 (02:12:26):
So yeah, what's your Do you have like a bucket
list vacation that you want to hit in future off seasons?
Speaker 2 (02:12:34):
I think Europe would be cool. I want to go
to Europe.
Speaker 3 (02:12:36):
I don't know, you know where at no anywhere.
Speaker 1 (02:12:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (02:12:40):
I'm not doing it.
Speaker 1 (02:12:41):
It just sounds cool.
Speaker 2 (02:12:42):
It sounds cool. I don't know. Yeah, that's where you
want to go.
Speaker 1 (02:12:46):
It's like everyone's talking about.
Speaker 7 (02:12:52):
Gotta be plugged in with Josh Allen. You're a big golfer.
Speaker 2 (02:12:56):
I like to play some golf.
Speaker 7 (02:12:57):
I feel like every time Josh in the off season,
that's his big thing. He'll like to Europe.
Speaker 1 (02:13:01):
Yeah, get that dog, We're gonna go to.
Speaker 3 (02:13:04):
Uh. I don't even know how that works if you
got it, if it's invite only, but I know a
lot of the athletes go out to Lake Tahoe. Yeah
for that big golf a bit.
Speaker 7 (02:13:13):
George is playing in it.
Speaker 2 (02:13:14):
Yeah. I think, well I got invited to something like that,
but I don't think I'm going. I was going to
and I was like, I don't know, got a train.
Speaker 1 (02:13:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:13:23):
I was like, I'm I don't know, doing so much
stuff like like coming here and then uh going going
to Texas for a few days and then kind of
you get back into getting in shape for camp.
Speaker 3 (02:13:34):
Yeah kind of yeah, you big hunter.
Speaker 2 (02:13:37):
Yeah, I enjoy it, enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (02:13:39):
What's your favorites A duck hunting, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:13:40):
Probably do any sort of bird like dove duck. Yeah,
most of those two you like?

Speaker 3 (02:14:03):
How good is that? It is awesome? That was awesome, incredible.
Speaker 2 (02:14:06):
It took a second for me to like get invested.
I was kind of if he but like as soon
as you like, I feel like, what shows you got
to power through like the first three episodes and you
can't get invested into it?
Speaker 3 (02:14:13):
Yeah? But yeah, I love that pic.
Speaker 1 (02:14:15):
I haven't seen it.
Speaker 3 (02:14:16):

Speaker 2 (02:14:19):

Speaker 3 (02:14:21):
Yes, Like Mobland is a hitter.
Speaker 1 (02:14:24):

Speaker 3 (02:14:40):
