Girls Scouts are out in full force and Ian got hit three times out of three. Jess brought in cookies and Ian laments not bringing in the ones he acquired. Geno Smith is going back to the Jets and we try to diagnose what happened there. Are the Seahawks better, worse or the same as they stand right now? We take a listen to what Hugh Millen had to say to MJ earlier today. How comfortable or uncomfortable are we with the departure of Kenneth Walker?  What actually happened between Cal Raleigh and Randy Arozarena yesterday? Cal spoke to the Seattle media today and said this isn't a big deal - Randy is his brother. This might just be a 'WWE style grab-ass" situation.  The Daily Power Play!  How do the Seahawks fill the void of Kenneth Walker III?  The Seahawks aren't as good without him and Ian ponders what allowed the Seahawks NOT to reinvest in him. There's a lot more positivity after the re-signing of Rashid Shaheed.  John Lund, Unleashed and Westwood One joins Ian to break down what's going on in NFL free agency from an NFC West perspective. He breaks down the moves made by the Niners, the Rams and of course, the Seahawks. We finish up the rest of your talkbacks.  Crosstalk with Softy!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
A lot to get into today. We believe John Lunn
is coming up at two.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Yeah he's very mysterious, but yes, maybe believe Maybe text.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Him again just for giggles, just he's.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Probably I went out of my way to cold.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
He's probably napping or whatever. So maybe he's like me.
And he doesn't answer the phone big.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Time in US.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I've talked to him on the phone. When you get
him on the phone, it's hard to get off. So
he is he's he's a talker, a.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Common thing in our industry. I've noticed.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
That's why I don't talk on the phone with you.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
That is a very good call.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I got two hours a day. I've got to talk today.
It's longer than that with Kraken. But yeah, I don't
need to talk after that. I'm done. Yeah, I'm on
a certain word limit per day and I can't that movie.
What movie is that?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I forget the name of it.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
But it's like you only have a certain amount of
words to say before you die, and then once you
hit that limit, you die, so like you have to
really be careful. But I don't know, it's it's a
weird concept. But okay, I just remember that.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Who's the first one that's going to die here? Is
it SOFTI or MJ.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
MJ.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
More so than Softy?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Wait, I don't know, because Softy does talk on the phone.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I Softy loves talking on the phone. No, No, because
you know, I mean where he talks. And the thing
with you is you can have a great conversation with you.
But it's not like like Softy who's always talking, even
if he's not just he just talks because there's people
around him. Right, Yeah, No, I'm gonna say SOFTI er

(01:25):
m J MJ talks a lot too.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
He talks a lot, but I don't know too many people.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
And maybe he had those guys better be careful.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
What's their limit? I wonder exactly one day we're just
gonna be here and Softy is not going to be here.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
What happened? Softy? Talk too much?

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Leave your voice text soft.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Way too much? Oh God, what a horrible morbid thing
to be ringing up.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I'm sorry, it's just came into my head.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
All right, I'm just gonna we're working on lund all right.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
That's the conversation.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
That was just that conversation. We're gonna get into cal
and Andy in a second day to a free agency.
Did you find that sound by the way.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Yeah, I'm sure speaking of that, I'm trying to cut
it down because certainly.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
It can go.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It can go five minutes. I don't care.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Okay, but you find you've you let me know what
the best gist. It's about five minutes right now, that's perfect.
We'll just do that, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I want to get to some I heard Hugh today
with MJ and I was fascinated by it because I
hadn't given it this much thought. But I was kind of,
as I'm going in today to a free agency, I
was like, how are we really feeling? And we'll get
to that in a second, because when we went off
the air yesterday after I had Hughan and Greg on,
all of a sudden, Rashichi get signed, and that kind

(02:34):
of changed maybe how we feel. But I might be
leaning towards the Hugh Millen camp a little bit, and
I'll explain why in just a couple of seconds. The
ken Walker thing does have me a little bit concerned.
I think two things can be true. All right, We'll
get to that in a second. We'll get into Randy
and Cal as well. Today that that whole extravaganza yesterday
a good daily power play coming up and gets some

(02:55):
good sound Fromlane Lambert. One forty five just brought cookies in.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Today, the best.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Ones, okay, which see, now here's the problem the I
I also bought a box and for us, just for
the station, I bought a couple from home. We're at
this point now if you do grocery shopping at all,
because you see the girls and knock on your door.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, that's not exactly the safest thing to do.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Well, it depends your neighborhood.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
I did it when.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Our neighborhood we we would. This is the first. Now
maybe they just see the no solicitation sign or whatever.
Although this little girl's neighborhood, you knock on the door,
I'll buy. The problem is i'll buy them. So but
like in our neighborhood at the old Maple Valley fred Meyer,
there's two entrances and they've got them both covered like
a swat.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
So you can't say I'll get you on the way
out because they got you on.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Because they'll get you on the way out. That's the problem.
It's like like they've got you, they've got you better
covered than a secret service regime. I mean they're they're
they're right there. And I'm a girl dad. So now
my daughter was a Girl Scout for maybe maybe a minute,
maybe half a minute. I don't know, which is weird
because now she has to do all kinds of crafting

(04:10):
and stuff as a school teacher.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, I mean she hated it, like she didn't like it.
I lived by the railroad. Would we did like cystic
fibrosis tin can money raising things like at the railroad?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Basically I think they whatever they did, she wasn't a
fan of and so she was. But I'm still a
girl dad, and I miss my baby girl being a
baby girl.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Like she's old now she's pretty tough.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
And so I walk out, I walk in, they're there. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
See in a second, I'm not gonna carry cookies all
through the store. I'm I am now three for three.
I am the biggest flipping sucker in the world. I
am three for three. I cannot walk by them. I can't.
And now it used to be like cash only or whatever.
Now every every Girl Scout moms.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Got they got the square.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
So I can't even say anything in my Venmo account.
I can't even do that. Plus my vemo counts a
whole different that's a whole different topic. So it's it's
that's the.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
No more like that's what he uses for all the.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yes, yes, here's the worst thing about that. Andrews knows that,
and my wife does it.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
I do the same thing.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, I do the same. She'll tell you, hey, can
you venmos? I don't have any vemo hunt now? And
then I got then I have to clear it out
for the mayor Maple Valley open because they use it
for that, right, and I clear it out. I money
launder with buddies that here. Can you take this? Can
you take that? Yeah? He did hold on this and
then send it back and so yeah, anyway, so I so,

(05:49):
but yeah, I know every girl scout mom has a
flipping square thing now, so you just get that. You
get the square so you can't walk by them. So,
like I said, I am now three for three, my
last three trips to fred Meyer in the m V
even using a second entrance. I'm done.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
I'll just carry one with you.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
So well, what I did is I so I brought
I bought some yesterday to bring in here and I
left them actually in the car. This afternoon when they're
in the car, so I'll bring them in tomorrow. I'm
not gonna go down and come back up because you
already brought some in, but just brought some in today.
And the thing is with those bloody cookies is you
go buy them and you're like, no, I'm good, and
then you go buy them the third or fourth time,

(06:30):
like I better have one, right.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I think Mike went through a box of tag along. Yeah,
he was the one that got this time. I always
buy him.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
But he I have a little excuse because I noticed
I did have a box of thin Mints that were
on the countertop yesterday.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Most overrated for girls cookie.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
I didn't you put them in the freezer.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Okay, we'll get to that in a second. Whatever blasphemy.
That just was the but I left it there. I
left it. I had that in a samoa on the
on the table yesterday and I got one of the
they were gone. But my son's got type one diabetes
and sometimes at night you have a low blood sugar,
like a blood sugar goes down, and really the easiest
thing to do is just get some sugar in.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
You know whatever girl scout cookies for his health.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
So that's what I think he did last night. I
think because he had low blood sugar. I had a
little beeper going off. I'm like, okay, great, and then
so yeah, so, and then I feeled okay. Now that
gives me more of an excuse to buy it more
of those things, but just brought the tag alongs in there.
Those are the peanut butter ones. Right, I've avoided it
so far, but I don't think I'm avoided the rest
of them.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Well, they're going fast.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
So okay, well fantastic.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Those are two best I have.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
I'm thank you for not bringing I'm torturing my son
by not eating one.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
A girl scouts just an excuses. Sorry, I don't have
any cash like I want to give, but I can't.
And then now you don't have that ex that's the problem. Yes,
i'd give you my venmo, but that's for a different use.
I don't think I've got I've got March Madness. I
got March Badness brackets. I got March Madness Survivor Pool.

(08:01):
I got March Madness Draft next week. Yeah, I got no, no, no, no,
all right, we got a lot going on today. We
got let me just briefly on Geno for a second,
because I'll transition in and we'll probably get to the
WBC at the bottom of the hour.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
The GENO and really WBC. The only thing we care
about here is that Cal versus Randy, So we'll get
to that and have some fun with that at the
bottom of the hour. Yeah. Like I told Mark, I
think Cal's a new Ku Chuck Brothers.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
He did just speak by the way, you have sound
or do we It's just quotes right now?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Okay, save that for one thirty for me. I look, okay,
so yeah, look for sound.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
The thing with with the WBC is that I think,
like Yesterda, at least is a five to three game
for the US against Mexico's five nothing early.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Like I said, I turned it off. I wouldn't turn
that off as a playoff game or if I cared
that much. But but I don't know. I'm working hard
to get back into it. I thought one thing that
was cool was the atmosphere last night in Houston. Yeah,
although it felt very World Cup Soccer like. Yeah, no
in the States because the US never plays a home

(09:08):
game in their own country when they're playing Mexico, right am,
I right? Part of it is because of proximity to
wait for it the border. Yeah, like I know you
love yourself some minute made or what the hell they
call that ballpark there in Houston? Like why why are
we playing it there?

Speaker 4 (09:26):
That's a good question.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
Like seriously, Crawford boxes because the US has a lot
of good right handed hitters.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Okay, I just it's like we're gonna play a US
World Cup game against Mexico, will play in the Rose Ball. Well,
guess what happens eighty five thousand fans of Mexico and
a handful of US fans and we'll get to that later. Uh,
Gino Smith.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I was just gonna say Lund is confirmed for two.
He wrote back, who dis? I wrote back, your worst nightmare?
He's just such a and he wrote back smileafing, So
he's good. I'm taking that as a confirmation.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Good some moron, All right, Gino Smith goes to the
Jets and this will transition into Seahawks and we'll get
to that huge sound. So I do want to hear
that the the Jets have ninety one million dollars in
dead cat money. Now Gino does not count against that,
because the Raiders will take on the dead Cat money

(10:21):
in that I mentioned and Jackson. Jackson looked at me
and goes, what are they doing? And I said, I
think it's really simple. Honestly, it's relationship. They were gonna
cut him. They recouped a little bit of a draft
some a little bit of draft capital because it's a
sixth and a seventh and the sixth and the seventh
or eleven picks apart or whatever. But it's just kind
of a they just kind of fell And it kind

(10:41):
of screws Geno because if he was a free agent,
like they cut him, and he's a free agent, he
can pick and choose where he goes exactly, which is
kind of funny, but that's what it is, right. But
the two gms, the teams kind of work together, and
he goes back to New York where all started. And
if we all remember the story of Geno Smith, we
all know the story. It did not go well in

(11:01):
New York with the Jets, Jests, Chess Jets. It did
not go well at all in any way shape or form.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Didn't get a druw broken, buy a backup.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
By a special teams linebacker. Yeah, everything about it was bad.
So he goes back there, maybe I mean, he can
still throw it, like he still throws a beautiful ball
and things like that, but I kind of there's part
of me kind of feels bad for Geno. Seahawks meanwhile,
signed Rashid Shih to a three year contract yesterday about
three point fifteen. It came out right after we were
done on the air, And I guess my question to

(11:32):
everybody is this, do you feel better about what the
Seahawks and where they're at right now? By the way,
the Jets ninety one million, Seattle has the lowest dead
cap money in the league, less than five hundred thousand,
So it's pretty obvious they know what they're doing in
terms of contracts, at least in terms of contracts that
they don't have to worry about down the road as
much as other teams. But Seattle's one of five teams

(11:56):
four teams, Hawks, Broncos, Jags, and Egs Eagles that have
yet to sign a free agent from outside of their
own group no external editions, external additions. They are the
one of four teams that has.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
They have re signed Rashiji heat but and he was
on their team minds and Josh cho yes exactly.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
But here's the thing. All four of those teams playoff teams.
Last year, all four teams had eleven plus wins. These
guys know what they're doing, But what about Ken Walker.
I think two things can be true. I really believe
two things can be true. One, you can saying John
and Mike we trust and we understand. They know more

(12:33):
about the cap and they probably know more about anything
health wise. I'm not saying Ken Walker's hurt by any means,
but maybe they're whatever their concerns are, whatever the reason is,
that's why they didn't re sign him and they went
with Rashid shi Heat instead. I can still feel concerned
about who they are as a football team because I
think he makes them better. I've also thought that when

(12:55):
last year they were jacking them around and splitting carries
with Sharboney. We talked to about that a lot on
this show with Hugh and with Greg. It was mystifying
to us why that was happening. Now they don't have
Charbonne until middle of the year, and most of us
believe that he's not as good as Walker anyway, And
they don't have Walker either, So you can say I'm

(13:18):
a little uncomfortable with the running back position right now
at the same time, I can trust those guys. Here's
Hugh from earlier today with MJ at the midday.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
There's a substantial difference between him and Zach Sharbonay. I
think that that Canine is is hoverd. He's always been
a top seven or eight back. I think right now
he's closer to a top four or five back. And
at the end of last year you say that, you know,
just the play they gave him an opportunity when Zach

(13:50):
Scharbonnay got hurt.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
You can look at the podcast.

Speaker 9 (13:53):
I was saying, Look, we can have two thoughts about
this Sharbonny injury. Number One, we can feel terrible for
the young man. He's got a you know, he lost
an opportunity to be part of a Super Bowl run.
He's going to have an off season rehab. All of
this we can we can have those thoughts. And then
I said, Comma, but this could work out better for
Seattle because now Canine is going to get the workload

(14:15):
and he's a better back. And so if you think,
if you agree with me, that he's somewhere in that
Jonathan Taylor realm, you know, between you know, third, fourth, fifth,
best running back then, it is unlikely they are going
to find a guy who is as good as a

(14:37):
canine is twenty five years old right now, I'll be
twenty six.

Speaker 7 (14:40):
Storring.

Speaker 9 (14:40):
You know, they had to get rid of Marshawn Lynch.
He's he retired at thirty.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
He was done.

Speaker 9 (14:45):
But in the Super Bowl year Lynch was twenty seven.
The next year when he was twenty eight, you know,
he was Pro Bowl second team All Pro. Like had
you signed K nine, it was for ages twenty six,
twenty seven, and twenty eight, and that has nothing to
do with Sean Alexander for anybody you know, like like,
just throw that analogy out now you say, speaking of analogies, well, Millan,

(15:07):
you said you're talking about Emmon Smith Hall of Fame
are one.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Of the greatest.

Speaker 9 (15:11):
Granted understand the analogous parts of an analogy. Pro Football
Focus ranked Canine the number one running back in the NFL.
They're looking at the tape and and look, I hate
using them because I make my opinions based on the
tape I want. But sometimes if I need somebody to
write shotgun on my opinion, you know I'm driving it. Okay, Hey, pff,

(15:33):
we jump in the car. You're you're driving shotgun. So
I can present this to our listening audience. Okay, but
again K nine number one ranked running back. So look,
I don't know what they're gonna do between now and then,
but they took a guy that and one final thought
on him, Kennedy Paul Amalu, the running back coach, took
a leave of absence. I believe it was in November,

(15:55):
and and the UH and and Justin Outen and Michael Byrne,
guys on that on the staff kind of took over.
They made some changes. They widened his his his target
point on the wide zone, and we talked about this
a lot.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
They deepened him up. I'm I'm noticing, I'm with him.

Speaker 10 (16:12):
He's deeper.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
And I go back and I look.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
A week one against the forty nine ers. Sure enough,
he's deeper.

Speaker 9 (16:17):
His on on his inside runs, the inside zone and
what's called duo those those run concepts, he would take
a delay step often called a lead draw step or
ISO step, and he would be slower to the line
of scrimmage. And what he showed in those last five
six weeks where he was he was able to watch

(16:40):
UH watch the entire flow of the defense. When he
was at Wake Forest, their coach went on inside zone.
They taught, don't look at the defensive line, look at
the linebackers. It's like a mogul skier, Olympic mogul skier.
You don't look at the mogul in front of you,
you look three moguls ahead. Canine by slowing down his

(17:00):
his his approach, he's able to see both the first
and second layer, how they're developing.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
You just see it on the tape and so on
his inside zone.

Speaker 9 (17:10):
Zack Charbonnay average on fifty nine carries, average three point
three yards.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Canine on sixty carries.

Speaker 9 (17:16):
Basically the same number carriers have five point six again,
three point three to five point six. So I think
you're losing a hell of a back. Not the best
in the league. You know, we're not gonna quibble what
the definition of a star is. But you know, I
think he's inarguably the top five or six back in

(17:36):
this league. And and you're gonna have to reconcile. Why
does Andy Reid think he's worth fifteen million? So look, well, again,
I trust schnyder and and McDonald. I do not think
they are inerrant and right now, I'm concerned that the
team that is number one in the NFL to Seattle

(17:58):
Seahawks in terms of of run to pass ratio, that
the team that is number one has chosen to let
a twenty five year old back get out of the building.
Who's a top five or six back. Is that a star?
I don't know, I don't care. Yeah, yeah, he's not
a star. Okay, fine, he's not a star, but he's
a top five back. So I'm a little bit concerned,

(18:22):
as you can tell.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Yeah, I would. I would. I think the term I
would have for it is I'm I'm I'm uncomfortable with
it and maybe concerned. Sure, the money's interesting. We were
just talking about this with Chris kidd Ands before we
came in, like did it come down to Rashichi heat

(18:43):
and Ken Walker. I think there's actually a bigger thing
in play, and I'll just reference if you missed it
yesterday our conversation with Greg Bell at two o'clock yesterday,
and Greg mentioned I think that the dive was cast
long ago. I think it was in the fall when
they were splitting carriers with him and Sharp in a
a in a in a year in a contract year.

(19:04):
And I think in Greg mentioned this, he talked to
Ken ken Walker a lot. I think he was kind
of done as of last fall and he was just
gonna go move on somewhere else where. Maybe he felt
more appreciated. I'm just that's just a guess. But from
what Greg was saying, you kind of connect the dots
a little bit. Maybe they wanted to bring him back,
and he's like, I don't know why am I going
to come back and split carries again? No, I go

(19:24):
somewhere and be a lead back and go somewhere and
be an all pro. Right, maybe, but I'm a little
comfortable with it. Four nine four to five one. That is,
it's commodage text line four nine four to five one
to commo dodge text line. Go ahead and fire off
your thoughts, comments, questions, concerns, red microphone as well. We'll
get to the cal Rawley thing. I think we're gonna
hear from him, right, Is that right?

Speaker 3 (19:44):
We are efforting?

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Thanks for the word.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
I appreciate that. All right, We'll try to hear from
cal Rawley himself coming up. By the way, it's cracking
ticket Tuesday Sports Rady nine three point three KHRFM. Aw,
we have your chance to win tickets. All you have
to do is was for the sounder to play every
hour then called two O six two eight six ninety
five ninety five. We'll take the tenth caller every hour
to we to para tickets see the crack and play
on March seventeenth against the Tampa Bay Lightning WBC acrimony.

Speaker 11 (20:06):
Next from the R and R Foundation Specialist Broadcast Studio.
Now back to Ian Fornez powered by Seapple Closest sports book,
Snow call Me Casino and Hotel on Sports Radio ninety
three point three kJ r FM.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
I were back in Tuesday afternoon. Nothing, nothing cooking. It
doesn't seem like free agency wise, kind of a slower day,
which is maybe good after all all things crazy yesterday,
So Mexico USA yesterday. World Baseball Classic US wins five
to three? Are both Anders you know this stuff better

(20:49):
than me? Are both the superstar pitchers now done?

Speaker 7 (20:52):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Skiings and Schooble.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
Correct Skeens did say that he's going to stay with
the team and be a quote unquote option out.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Of the bullpen.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Okay, but school's done starting again, School's done. School's done
and he went back to his team, but he may
come back and watch a game later. Yeah, I can't.
First of all, how am I as a fan supposed
to take this thing serious when that, when when the
star players like leave? I can't. Father. The only other
sports that have international things that matter would be hockey,

(21:23):
and that's Olympics, so it's maybe a different level. And
soccer like that's just not what you do. You play
for your country.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
And so basketball Olympics at times, oh at times, yeah
for sure, not.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Every time, not every time. There's guys at that, but
that's just.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Well, I just it's not on an Olympic level. I
don't think.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Well that's but that's my point, Like, how am I
supposed to take it serious? How am I supposed to
take it serious? When star pitcher says I'm going back
to the Tigers, Like, couldn't he get the same work
in with Team USA that he's going to get in
if he's not going to start a game right and
just doing his throwing or whatever. I mean, it's okay,
that is a sidne The big thing here yesterday, big big, big,

(22:03):
big hubbub yesterday, because so Randy Rose Arena, Hey, he's
hitting lead off.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
Huh, let's go Mexico.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
He goes up first at bats, goes in there and
kind of looks over to kind of shake hands or
you know, fist bump or whatever.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
Was shot almost every time, no matter what.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Right and his teammate on the Seattle Mariners, the big dumper,
Cal Rawley, just kind of looks at him, waves him off.
They said something, but he didn't do anything.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
No, no, he left his hand out.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
So then Randy after the game, in multiple languages, not
even just sad, I mean a lot of different languages,
sends some stuff and people were thinking, is it is
it a work? Is it? W W? E? Like is
he mad? Is he not mad? What's Cal doing all
this stuff? And like it's it cut up until a

(23:00):
few minutes ago, and I'll tell you why. It kind
of turned into a little bit of a thing. Now,
I say it might be a thing, but we've only
heard from really the one side in terms of a
real interview and not like whatever Randy was doing in
postgame last night. Cal says, quote he did a FaceTime
with some of the Beat writers down in Arizona. He says, quote,
there's no beef with Randy, I love him. He's my brother,

(23:22):
says he already talked to Roseraine about the situation. This
is quean Ryan Didivish to clarify what transpired, as well
as manager Dnill's. My thought would be this, what harm
Cal would there be just to tap up your teammate.
This isn't a guy that you're just randomly seeing and
he's not a true opposition. Yeah, for that game, he
is whatever I think. I'm putting Cal in the category

(23:46):
of Kachuck brother making the team USA easy to hate.
I don't like tm US anymore. Boo, No, I'm just kidding. Relax, Relax, Relax, Relax, Relax, relax.
But it was like, like you can say whatever you want.
Twenty four hours later, it did not appear that Randy

(24:06):
was too thrilled with it. And this is not Let's
let's be honest. What's more important a World Series with
the Mariners or whatever the Mariners do this year, or
this made up tournament that everyone cares about more than
the US, right, like, just dap him up. I don't
want to be a hypocrite, though, because one of the

(24:27):
things I love about Josh Naylor is he never talks
to the guys at first base. I think it's the
coolest thing ever. Not his teammates, and there's like, Josh
Naylor is as serious as day is long, and there's
no grab ass in his world. No, not unless it's
his own teammates after a game, like there's none, and
I like, I like, I like that with with Naylor.
I love that with Naylor. Naylor has massive red ass

(24:51):
to him and I love it. He is he is is,
he just he's about business. But but come on, col
just just give him a fist bump. Let's go.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
There's a couple angles with this that I want to mention.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
But oh but again, I gave you the quote. So
Cal kind of brushed it off to a big deal.
We move on. I think that's kind of what it
is now. We move on until we hear from Randy
and not Randy immediately afterwards doing whatever, like until Randy
gets back to Peoria, probably yeah, and he talks to
the guys that cover the team on a regular basis.

(25:22):
Then we then we put it to bed. I think
it's about mostly tucked in but not quite asleep yet.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
So a couple of people mentioning that Cal has pine
tar on his hands because you know, he's trying to
throw people out, and then they could get there's a
lot of things with him getting possibly schemes getting kicked
out with the umpire all that stuff, so exactly, so.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
That'd be a suspension for schemes.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
If he shakes his hand, Randy gets pined, like, then
that turns into a whole thing. I don't think that's it.
You could still just fist bump him and not get the.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
Like, hey, what's up? How are you?

Speaker 5 (25:54):
So I don't I don't necessarily believe that angle altogether.
There's the other angle that Randy is full on joking
in the postgame show right, like this is complete sarcastic.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Likely if you look at the quote, he says, oh,
I love his parents.

Speaker 5 (26:10):
He has great parents. And then but that thing, I
think he said, good, nice to see you or something
you can shove that up your.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
You know which.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
To me, that kind of what I read it as
when I first heard it, because the response from Randy
doesn't really fit the action that Cal did. It's like
way over the top that that tells me that he's
just kind of trying to, like you said, play grab
ass a little bit and there was an explanation his
name is Joe's McFly on the social media. I read,
excuse me, Jose McFly is his name. He's uh exactly,

(26:42):
that's I mean, he's playing his name out, okay. But
he's a guy in the John Boy media sphere and
he is Dominican, so he kind of is in all
of this, all these circles all the time. And he
explains that this is kind of a cultural thing more
than anything else. Uh, they like screw with each other
all the time, uh, the Latino uh, you know, countries

(27:06):
and baseball players specifically, And that's what he feels like
it is as well. And if nothing else comes of it,
then that's what it is. If they if one of
these sides doubles down and be like, what's going on here?
I didn't know that was or anything, that's when it
would turn into something.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Well, let's just be honest. It's spring training going in
high expectations. It's been way too nice and boring for
the Marnors. Don't we need something? We need something like
we can't just have We're not used to having nice
things with this baseball team. And right now's yeah, right now,
this we've had too many nice things. So what's I think?

(27:40):
I think just messing up nothing, guys. Nothing.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
When I saw the interaction, that was my first thing.
Then I was like, Ooh, Raindy is actually coming off
as mad. Last night when I saw that, and then
this like this morning, I was like, no, he's just
they're a lot fun with each other.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
It's funny because I didn't see the first app yesterday.
By the time I turned it on, it was the
US had the Basis Load, it was Bob the first
I think it was like that. Yeah, and and so
I turned it on that I had watched, but that
later that night, before I had seen all this stuff,
I had watched the first episode of the Netflix thing
on the WWE, and so I was just so my

(28:20):
thought the whole time is just a work, right, this
is all we're doing.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
It is I honestly think it is.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
I love it. I did too, right here for all
of it.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
Everything's good.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Whether it's a work or whether it's acrimony. I'm here
for it. We're talking about it. So that's good. Okay,
we'll take a break, come back, Lon's gonna join us.
Top of the hour talk all things uh, Free Agency,
in the NFL. We'll also get into uh, you know
what the Niners did yesterday with Mike Evans. I don't
like that at all. I'll be honest with you. Do
not like that at all. That's that helps them.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
We'll get into that with him. We come back cracking
big game tonight. We'll hear from Lane Lambert next. Here
got the cracking.

Speaker 10 (28:59):
Good star you watch.

Speaker 12 (29:13):
This is the Daily power Play Hockey on your home
for the Kraking Sports Radio ninety three point three k
j r f.

Speaker 7 (29:25):
M, Seattle.

Speaker 12 (29:28):
The Daily power Play is brought to you vice a
Kwahondak the argist inventory of Kaboda equipment in Kane County.
Now your daily look at the National Hockey League and
the Seattle Kraken with the Infernets.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
Way Power Daily power Play brought you I good friends,
and this is Quahana Kaboda Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Yes,
indeed here we are. Let's get right to it. See
kracking tonight, have a big one. They're taking on your friends.
Am I National Predators three points behind Seattle and the
standings sales in a flat out fist fight right now.

(30:06):
I mean nothing short of that, for the final playoffs
or just any playoff spot in the Western Conference, they
need to crank it out. They need to find a
way to start getting some wins. They have been struggling lately.
Two and four out of the Olympic break. Need one tonight,
need two points with Colorado here on Thursday. That'll be
a tough one, Andrews, before we hear from Lane Leber

(30:26):
will give you some good news. Okay, goaltender. You see
Saros for the Nashville Predators out. He's playing, but he's
given up at least three goals in each of his
last thirteen starts like that a little surprising. At the
other end, it might be Joey and goal again. He

(30:47):
was not good the other night. I would have I
think a lot of us would have signed Fox to
take that point right anyway, that being set, starts to
games this year have been a struggle for the Kraken
have not come out good a lot of times. Here
is Layne Lambert meeting with some members of the media,
including Mike Betton and Piper Shaw.

Speaker 13 (31:08):
What's the message that you guys that you want these
guys here to take in here for this evening well,
for us, it's crunch time. You know, we've got twenty
games left. We came out of the break with twenty
six games left. We haven't done the job that we
wanted to do. It's not too late, but it's crunch
time here, Lane. Given how a Saturday's game, when I

(31:28):
know that you said, obviously you didn't really like anything
from that game.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
So what's at the top of your priority list for
the group coming into tonight when it comes to the
kind of game that they need to play.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Compete with emotion, short and sweet.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
If there was more of that quote, I would have
kept it in, but that's all he said, so he
was quick to respond.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Compete with emotion. I feel like that hasn't happened lately
this team, which is just hard to fathom. Yeah, hard
to fathom.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
Gee, you when you're in this spot, like, I can
understand that if you're like Vancouver and way out of it,
like right.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
The thing the problem I have with them lately, especially
on Saturday, is the trade in line is coming gone.
You keep everybody intact. I don't want to stay relaxed,
but you can play a little bit more free. You're
not worrying about moving the next day and they came
out like just complacent. So we'll see maybe they'll bounce

(32:26):
back tonight hope. So it's Women in Hockey Night tonight too.
So a lot's going on. Our pregame show on the
TV side should have mentioned we got a lot of special
guests coming up, including a member of the Torrent team
will be with us. So that's coming up. Benton's on
the air at six point thirty right here on the
Home of the Crack at nine three point three KJRFM,
as we get you going for this particular game. Don't
forget it's a cracking ticket Tuesday as well on Sports

(32:48):
Radio nine to three point three KJRFM, we have your
chance to win tickets. All you have to do is
listen for the sounder to play every hour, then called
two O six two eight six, ninety five ninety five.
We'll take the tenth caller every hour to win a
pair of tickets. See the Crack and play on March
seventeenth against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Other good team, very good at hockey.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
That's a week from today.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
Yes I'm not Saint.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Patrick's day, it's also the day we will be up
at the Casino doing our bracketology show. Busy day, very
busy day, very busy, good day, good day, good time
of the year in sports. So make sure. And we've
already given away one pair of tickets, yes, for this hour,
so we'll give away another pair of tickets coming up
in the two o'clock hour to the tenth. Callar two
six two six nine five zero. We'll do that.

Speaker 7 (33:28):
Then.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
All right, our buddy John Londe is going to join
us next, we argue, buddy, Yeah, today he is. He's
coming on the I should mention we get some talkbacks already.
We talked about everything from cal Randy Girl, Scout cookies,
and I use the term uncomfortable with the running back
situation with the Seahawks right now. I guess that's conna

(33:49):
synonymous with concerned, sort of.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
It's not as heavy as a term, it's.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Not as heavy and negative as a term, but I
feel like they can be supplement that. But we're also
here on the tenth of March. The season will start
probably around the tenth of September. Yeah, we've they've got
some time, They've got some time. I think I'm right now.
I'm a little more intrigued about Greek wolling to not
signing anyone.

Speaker 7 (34:14):
Yes, one.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Maybe be good sign who knows? All right, So we'll
get your thoughts on all of the above four nine
four five one to come dotch text line. Also, you
can give us our talkbacks as well. We got those
Londons next now from the Star Rentals Sports to us.
Jordan ninety three point three k j R FM Sports

(34:38):
Gino Smith traded to the Jets by the Raiders today.
That didn't last long, that little fun extravaganza. Yeah, benders
that have lasted longer in Vegas than that thing did.
He goes to the Jets. Raiders retain most of the salary.
No big deal. Little draft pick movement involved well as well.
Seahawks reportedly will re sign Rashid Shih. They did make

(35:01):
an official a short time ago that they have indeed
re signed Josh Job to a three year contract. He
had one of four teams along the Broncos, the Jaguars,
and the Eagles, who have not signed anybody external so
far in free agency or at least agreed to terms. Remember,
free agency can't really start till tomorrow. Today's just and
yesterday just kind of a fun time, well exercise, it's
a mirage legals hampering ware we go. Crack can take

(35:24):
on Nashville tonight's six point thirty pre game seven o'clock
face off right here in your home for the Crack.
At nine three point three k RFM, Crack can still
hold the final wildcard spot, lead us down to one point.
They had the Kings and the Sharks spreads just three
points back as well. Call Row in the FaceTime call today,
saying to the media in Peoria, no big deal, We're

(35:46):
just joking along. Dialed in. I love Randy, He's a brother.
Blah blah blah. Nothing to see here in the WBC. Oh,
by the way, US did beat Mexico five to three.
Move along, US plays Italy tonight. That'll be a close game.
Tons of fun. All right, let's move into our number.

Speaker 11 (36:03):
Two from the R and R Foundation Specialist broadcast studio.
Now back to He and Fernez powered by Seapple's Closest
sports book Snow call me Casino and Hotel on Sports
Radio ninety three point three kJ r FM.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
All right, Lundell join us momentarily. We think we're getting
some good talkbacks, good text in as well, about a
variety of topics today, from girl Scout cookies to the
WBC beef non beef issue, non issue with Randy and

(36:46):
Cal to the bigger issue, honestly, which would be free
agency in the National Football League. Really cool quote from
Josh Joe to John Boyle from Seahawks Stock, who signed
his three year contract today. Since going undrafted, I've overcome
a lot of adversity. This deal means a lot. I'm
excited to be back. Good story, like a really good

(37:09):
story with Josh Jill.

Speaker 11 (37:10):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
You know, undrafted Cutt signed in Seattle, bounces around. There's
always somebody else, Rek wolland Devin Witherspoon, There's always somebody else.
But Job has got himself some financial security for a
lifetime and he's earned every cent of it. And as
my kid and his buddies call it, Josh, you know,
it's job jail, and job jail walks you down and

(37:32):
you're done like that job jail. It's all about job jail.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
It's like Grieves Island, but for his own thing.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
Yeah, job jail man, job jail, lock him down, let's go.
He does, he does his thing, so Josh Joe gets
signed to that deal. We heard that the quote from
Hugh Millan in the first hour, not the quote but
the kind of a five minute thing from Hugh from
this morning with MJ in the midday. That's a quote
from He's a quote and uh yeah, talking about ken

(37:56):
Walker and he's did a lot of the same things
with me yesterday, I think also, but more for with Softy.
There's a lot of things in play here with the
ken Walker and yes it's water in the bridge. He's gone.
But you know, as it was expressed throughout the season
when we did our weekly previews or recaps, and I'd say,
like the preview with Greg Cosel, the recaps with Hardcore

(38:18):
Football with Hugh, you know, a lot of head scratching
going on with what the shared carries this season with
sharbon A and Walker, because whether it's guys that I
would consider to be true experts like those two or
just people like me, you and everybody else, our eyes
at least my eyes and their eyes and other eyes
would say, and then Hughes got the stass to back
it up. In terms of inside zone, outside zone, the

(38:41):
numbers in the yards per carry. Simon close Sharbon is
not even close to wor Walker is in terms of production.
But you watch them play and one guy was significantly
better than the other. And now that other guy is
not even gonna be ready for the start of the season.
You wouldn't think you're not as good without ken Walker.

(39:01):
That's just a fact, Like you're just not as good
without ken Walker. You could probably make the same argument
that you're not as good without Boy and mafe. So
you're not as good without either one of those guys,
but Mafey you can make up for. You have some
depth on the edge. Your interior pass rush was what
led your led the way last year. Your two leading

(39:22):
sack guys are both defensive tackles or defense. They call
them defense at the ends and so forth, but they're
think about the guys in the middle, and Leonard Williams
and Jared Reid. You saw a glimpse of what Riley
Smith or Riley Mills might be able to do. Riley
Mills gets a sack in the Super Bowl, hadn't been
healthy all season, long played a handful of games at
the end of the year. And when I say a
handful handful of snaps at the end of the year,

(39:43):
but they get their pressure from the inside. Mafay, you
can make up for. The question is who makes up
for ken Walker?

Speaker 5 (39:49):
How easy is it to replace that production? Well, how
did they get them?

Speaker 1 (39:54):
I'm gonna I'm in the draft. Yeah, but you have
four draft picks. That's the problem. It's not going to
be four though you have five draft picks for six.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
It's not a deep draft, especially running back.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
Uh huh. Yeah. You could draft a guy, sure, Jess,
you could. You you could draft a guy, but you're
not as good without him. And so without ken Walker,
how do you replace that? Jacartia rights Kenny McIntosh. I
I'm gonna with all do apall all due respect to

(40:26):
Corbyn Smith and even I think Rang likes him too.
George hallani Is he is a jag, just a guy.
He is just a guy, a special teams player, good
guy on your team. He ain't carrying the mail baby.
And there's and here's the thing. There's a reason Walker
got paid what he got paid. He got paid what
he got paid because he's good. Because he was the

(40:47):
top running back on the free agent market, which had
to have some other guys. Drives atm is a good player.
Walker people perceive to be better. I mean, Walker is
a really good player, you know, and and you know,
like like you said yesterday with us and again with
MJA this morning, it's it's you can be concerned. You
can and I think two things can be true here.

(41:07):
You can both a trust John, trust Mike McDonald. Understand
that the process that those guys go through and have
has worked in the two years that McDonald has been here.
A ten win season, a super Bowl season, pretty damn good.
And schneider track record speaks for itself. But he's not
without flaws. He has had mistakes along the way, and

(41:31):
he's had mistakes at the running back position. So Michael
was a mistaken for Shot Penny.

Speaker 5 (41:37):
I eventually the production did not lead to what they invested.
But listen, for whatever.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Reasons Penny was was rashad. Penny had first round talent.
Penny did not have first round or second or even
seventh round health. Yeah, not all his There's certain guys
that are just always hurt. Like I would put Torri
Horton in that like until I see different, because Horton
was hurt in college and now he started again. But

(42:05):
it's like soft tissue stuff and weird stuff. You know,
Rishaw Penny broke an ankle towards ACL that that happens
in football. That happened, But the bottom line is he
wasn't productive. Chris Carson they nailed seventh round, two thousand
yard seasons started his career, and then he got unhealthy,
and then they sign him as a free agent after

(42:27):
his third year, extend his contract and he plays four
more games after that. I wonder, I have to wonder
out loud as we are we still waiting for a
lone apparently, Okay, I have to wonder what's going on
deep down? What's going on with in the back of
the minds of the c X. Do they think that
this is a guy that they didn't want to invest
big money in and they didn't trust it? Like did

(42:49):
they did? They did? They not trust him to stay healthy?
They know him better than anybody, Their medical staff knows
him better than anybody, So like if they didn't trust it,
like I kind of that's why I'm kind of looking
at this thing through a different lens, Like are they
were they concerned?

Speaker 4 (43:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (43:09):
That if they were they concerned about another Chris Carson, Like,
are we going to have a guy that's that's not
that's not going to fulfill that contract and eat the money.
And we just mentioned I told you guys this in
the first segment. THEX have like less than five hundred
thousand dead money this year. They do a great job
with contracts, terrific job of contracts. So maybe that was

(43:30):
part of it.

Speaker 5 (43:31):
To me, I'd feel a little bit more comfortable if
they had a contingency plan, you know, like similar to
what happened with Gino Smith. It was like they they
cut bait with him, but they went right to Sam Darnold, right,
So they had a plan in place to kind of
fulfill that gap, right, And you're fine moving on from
someone if you have a replacement.

Speaker 4 (43:50):
I don't know if that's the case right now.

Speaker 5 (43:52):
A lot of the names that a lot of people have,
you know, put as Kenneth Walker, replacements are off the board.
But Tyler Aljeer right, go down. You know, there's still
Brian Robinson Junior on the board. I intrigued by that.
Etn's off the board.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
None of those guys and this is huge point, and
he's one hundred percent right. None of those guys are
ken Walker. No, that's why ken Walker.

Speaker 5 (44:14):
At least fill like, fill it up eighty ninety percent full.
You can't do that right now with what they have
on this roster.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Correct.

Speaker 5 (44:20):
I feel better about that than you know, just throwing
George Halaanne Kenny McIntosh.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
Yeah, and and I would agree with that. I think
the thing now me let me bounce it off the
other side, because there's a second half of this story.
The other half of the story is what's was with
what happened with Rashid chi Heat. Everyone felt like this
guy was gonna walk. They thought that the market would
price him out and he would be gone. And so
then you lose a guy that's your best running back,

(44:45):
and for a team that likes to run the football
at a very high rate, we assume that'll stale be
the case thing without Kubiak here anymore, because that's what
Mike McDonald wants. That you lose that, so you take
a drop off. Then you were in position you thought
maybe to lose a wide receiver and a guy that
was as also a terrific special teams player, So that
would have been catastrophic. I will say, I will tell

(45:08):
you this as of three point fifteen yesterday. I feel
a hell of a lot better and more comfortable with
where they are than I did before, yes because before
I was like, wow, you've taken Now again we know
the productive I think Hugh extrapolayd the numbers. It was
like if you went through the whole court, if you
played seventeen games last year as wide receiver orchichi, he

(45:29):
would have like five hundred yards four hundred yards Like
he didn't produce as a receiver. You would think that
will incruise this year with an off season with Sam
Darland and the offense. But what he did would do
is he's a game changer. He's a game breaker. You
can use him in a lot of different ways offensively
and a rounds running plays. Whatever they tried to do
that a couple times last year didn't really work, but
that's there. But the special teams is a massive factor.
So I feel better about that than I did last year,

(45:52):
or then I did yesterday at this twenty four hours ago.
Twenty four hours ago, I wouldn't even use a term
uncomfortable twenty four hours girls like in John gener we
trust and might we trust, but uh in trepidation.

Speaker 3 (46:06):
The off season.

Speaker 1 (46:07):
That is the off season. All right, we'll do this.
We'll get we have talkbacks, right, yes, we do. Okay, Uh,
we got talkbacks I'm sure on Seahawks, on WBC drama,
non drama, and maybe even on Girl Scout Cookies. We've
got a ton of text as well, So let's do this.
We can't get ahold of lot who knows what's going
on with them. Uh, we'll take a break, we'll come back,
we'll check, we'll hear from you, guys. Usually we're rushed

(46:28):
with all of that. This time we won't be as
rushed with all those things to discuss. We'll do that
next nine three point three kJ FM.

Speaker 11 (46:39):
From the R and R Foundation Specialist Broadcast Studio. Now
back to Ian Fernez powered by Seattle Closest Sports book
Snow call Me Casino and Hotel on Sports Radio ninety
three point three kJ R FM.

Speaker 13 (46:57):
Yeah, got heard you talking about that movie with the
word limit and then death.

Speaker 1 (47:01):
That was pretty cool.

Speaker 14 (47:02):
But anyway, Seattle Seahawks, Yeah, I really like and what
they've done being patient, This free.

Speaker 15 (47:09):
Agency mark is absolutely gonna perish. First, that man talks
his sleep, talks his apartment by himself, that man talks
in his car by himself to himself about himself for
the next day, about himself.

Speaker 16 (47:28):
Mark is talking and Mark is dying. First let's see
here go cracking. And I'm gonna say that Mike Washington
Junior first touch for running back next year Seahawks.

Speaker 14 (47:41):
I am all right.

Speaker 1 (47:44):
Let me give you a couple of things here, because
we forgot about that. I forgot about that earlier we
talked about the limit. How did that even come up?

Speaker 4 (47:54):
Montur John talking to him on the phone.

Speaker 1 (47:57):
Yes, yes, who we never talked.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
To to And maybe I talked him out by leaving him
a voicemail.

Speaker 4 (48:02):
Perhaps you know, maybe he dropped eggs, he ran out
of words.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
But you said there was there was a there was
a movie that whoever you had a certain.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
Word limit and on a thousand words it has Eddie
Murphy in it.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Okay, And he said, and I was like, is this it?
And when you reach us a certain number of words,
you'd die? So I brought up who goes? Who goes first?
Soft Y or MJ?

Speaker 3 (48:25):
Yes you did.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
I'm still leaning towards Softy.

Speaker 4 (48:31):
I'm leaning MJ. I think the caller is correct.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
I don't know if We're going to hear a talkback
from the MJ talkback guy again today, isn't yet okay
because please because like with MJ, he can go rapid
fire in like twenty or thirty seconds.

Speaker 4 (48:49):
It's the word count, not the length of time, right,
But then.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
He can pause and then we pause for dramatic if it's.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Like that episode of Kevin like limits himself.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
So the words though, yea, they slow down. Softy is
always on a ten. He is always on a ten.
And and like I've been well, you've been there, Andrews
we golf with him. Yeah, I I feel like he's
talking on the tea box to himself.

Speaker 4 (49:21):
He does swear like a sailor.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
Let me, I'll get to talk back to second we
got we got a lot four nine four five one.
I want to just mention this one's I don't probably
get I mentioned. Uh So it's called Dalkin Knight or
Diking Diking Field, right dyk in Park. Yeah, so that one.
I'll take him for five minutes actually if he wants
to do something, yeah, just because I want to get

(49:44):
the gonna yell on him for a while because I
want to do I do want to talk about mikevins
Uh where was it here?

Speaker 5 (49:53):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (49:53):
Is one of the worst MLB parks. It's all vertical
is echoey is terrible. Remember in elementary school and it's
supposed to be kickball a week in pe outside, but
it's raining. They move it in the gym. That's that
ballpark fake But baseball park, Yeah, I would agree. I
think I think it's fake. Well, you know what, all
the weird stuff and echoey stuff and all those things
with it, I get that. The only thing with that

(50:15):
place is I just didn't like the fact you're playing
US Mexico there because it turns into now again Seattle,
the US one, Seattle US one. But it's like the
World Cup. It makes no sense to me when we
play World Cup games in places where you're going to
get out numbered by in your own.

Speaker 5 (50:31):
Feel like if they played US Canada and Seattle, all
the all the Toronto guys have come down and.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
You guys get all stressed out about that. Right?

Speaker 7 (50:41):
All right?

Speaker 1 (50:42):
Are we checking on one now? We've got like five
minutes we can talk to him today? Which is there?

Speaker 13 (50:48):
He is?

Speaker 1 (50:48):
Are you there are?

Speaker 17 (50:50):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (50:51):
What the hell you've been here the whole time?

Speaker 6 (50:53):
It's your problem. It happened on your end. It did
not happen on my own.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
I bet you know what well, we have had We
have had phone issues before, So wouldn't.

Speaker 7 (51:02):
That's not true that I just lied straight through my teeth.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
Yeah, I would have bought it. I would have bought it, though,
because we don't even have We don't have phones anymore.
Everything's done through the cloud. So I would have bought that.

Speaker 7 (51:14):
Are you serious?

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Yeah, we don't have phones. We we dial like through
this weird computer cloud thing now. So and we've had
that issue before, so you could have told me that,
I would have bought it.

Speaker 7 (51:23):
Yeah, I know it's on me, it's it's not on you.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
Okay, I got I got five minutes. I got five
minutes with you. But I do I got five minutes
with you because I've got talkbacks, I got listener feedback.
I wanted the people want to hear their own noises. Yes,
I do listen, it's just me and you. No, I've
got five today. I got five people that are before
I had Yeah, we had twenty and they just all
dropped off in the last fifteen seconds. All right, all right, Hey,

(51:47):
we're one day in free agency. Yeah, Mike Evans. What
the hell None of us here like that. We don't
like that in Seattle.

Speaker 7 (51:54):
Yeah, I wouldn't either.

Speaker 6 (51:55):
I mean, that's that's you know, he's he's there Juwan
Jennings now and you know he that's the guy that
you know can go up and get it. And I
think it's a huge signing. And I think Trent Williams
is gonna be fine. That whole thing is gonna get resolved.

Speaker 7 (52:07):
And so yeah, that's as far as the forty nine
er is concerned.

Speaker 6 (52:10):
Who don't often do this and delve deep into it,
it's because Mike Evans wanted to be there. I mean,
you've seen the contract now, it's not a huge contract.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
Mike Evans wanted to be there, wanted to.

Speaker 6 (52:19):
Play for the forty nine ers, and he did because
they're just not that kind of team. They're like Seattle,
like all these people that are like all these Raider.

Speaker 7 (52:26):
Fans are trying to hit me up, going what do
you think now? And what I tell him back is what.

Speaker 6 (52:30):
I think is you you kind of look like you
might have won the offseason, which never means you win
in the season.

Speaker 7 (52:36):
What Seattle's doing, the Niners, that's how you win.

Speaker 6 (52:39):
You draft, develop, you re sign, and you use the
free agency to fill huge holes so that you're not
caught in a bind come draft time.

Speaker 1 (52:47):
I don't know why people don't understand that well, because
it's like a new thing every year. By the way,
we do have it. I was talking about our talkback,
so we have a little talkback thing. We actually have them.
Mike Evans talk far away Anders, take a listen, John.

Speaker 16 (53:00):
Oh Man, I have to double down and call back
again on Mike Evans. I just disagree. I don't think
he helps the Niners at all. The only way he
helps the Niners is it gives U Kittle a buddy
so they can do their hamstring injuries together. They are
the hamstring injury capital of the world. Now they're old
and they have hamstring issues. Like call them the sand

(53:23):
San Francisco hamstrings.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Like no clocks see Seahawk fans aren't worried about my king.

Speaker 6 (53:30):
That is that what your listeners are bringing to the table,
the San Francisco hamstrings.

Speaker 7 (53:35):
Is that is that it is that a typical.

Speaker 1 (53:38):
Well, there is a there is a thing here, like
you guys have that whole electrical thing where people are
like having tendons and stuffy on the substation is causing
issues with you guys, right, am I not? I'm correct
with it, That's accurate. Correct, That's why that's why killed
towards Achilles here.

Speaker 7 (53:54):
The station, everything's been the substation. I've been there for
you know, one hundred years. But okay, whatever that.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Was, that was seth Francisco's biggest need though, right as
a receiver, like a true wide receiver, because it.

Speaker 6 (54:04):
Think about it, Brandon Ayuk is gone. I don't know
what it probably get nothing for him. Juwan Jennings, Ricky
Pearsow's hurt all the time.

Speaker 7 (54:11):
Speaking of the substation, I mean, honestly, they don't have any.

Speaker 6 (54:15):
Receivers outside of Mike Evans now because I don't count
on Rickey Pearsong because people are like Pearsow the former
first round pick, and they have Mike Evans, it's like, well.

Speaker 7 (54:23):
Pearsaw is nothing.

Speaker 6 (54:25):
And Jwan Jennings they've had a real problem with. I
don't know if it's permeated up north where you are.
But John Jennings, he they said he had a hamstring
injury or he didn't. He just he wanted a new contract.
So he's been a problem for a while. Ayuk was
a major problem. They don't have anybody to throw the
football to. So this is a huge signing, even if
it is the San Francisco Hamstrings.

Speaker 7 (54:44):
As your your brilliant listener said there it was.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
It's a problems that don't you on your little national show.
They call you on your national show. My listeners do,
don't they A lot? By the way, yeah, a lot
of yeah. I get a lot of yeah.

Speaker 7 (55:03):
You know, that's like, back him up.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
I know, what is jenn What is Jennings situation? He's
a jerk.

Speaker 6 (55:11):
I mean, he's just he's he's not Brandon a jerkish,
but he very much has overinflated his value.

Speaker 7 (55:18):
He's a former seventh round pick and they.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Cut it at one point.

Speaker 7 (55:21):
He ran a forty slower than you and I could.
And he's a really.

Speaker 6 (55:24):
Nice player, and they like him because he blocks guys
in the bench and he's a real irritant he you know,
they they like what he brings to the table, but
his his self perceived value is way out of whack.
He's he's probably a number three wise, even he's a
good he's a back end to or he's a good three.

Speaker 7 (55:41):
I mean, he's a nice receiver, but he's.

Speaker 6 (55:43):
Very limited in what he can do just because he
doesn't have any speed, like not just like four or five,
and he's like, he's like a four to seven five guy.

Speaker 7 (55:51):
He's nice, but you know he's asking for way too much.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
Yeah, that's well, but I think that happens as a
free agency's weird in that regard because we're wondering what's
going on with Greek Woolen for example, right, like he
he's gonna get paid, He's gonna get paid, He's gonna
get paid, and here we are once you get to
day's two and three. Like the money, like I like,
there's only X amount of dollars salary.

Speaker 6 (56:12):
Absolutely, you know, it's like we've all done this. It's
like selling a house. If you don't tell your house
quick and.

Speaker 7 (56:17):
You gotta start dropping the price, then everybody starts going,
what's wrong with that house?

Speaker 6 (56:21):
And that's Greek Wolan and that and that's a problem
with the agent and the player. Reek is a perfect
example of just like Jawan Jennings and some of these
other guys, they want a number that's just not out there,
and his inconsistent play probably.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
Is that way.

Speaker 6 (56:33):
But like at this point, I almost think you have
to go back, don't you have to go back? And
you know, maybe you don't put your tail between your legs,
but I mean, Seattle knows what he is and what
he isn't and you know, I don't know what people
think from there.

Speaker 7 (56:44):
But look, I can be I'll be honest with you.

Speaker 6 (56:46):
I mean, okay, whatever happened against you know, our good
friend comes in the first game, happened whatever.

Speaker 7 (56:51):
But you know it's everyone.

Speaker 6 (56:53):
Everyone thinks the grass is always green, or like I'm
gonna bring in this corner, bring in that corner. There's
guys with issues. And this is what I was talking
about about the draft. If you bring back Josh Job
and you bring back Tariq one and look, then you
don't have to reach for a corner in the draft.
And they're limited in their draft picks anyway, So now
you can focus on what.

Speaker 7 (57:10):
Edge right guards you want Bradford.

Speaker 6 (57:12):
Out there again, no potential running back obviously.

Speaker 7 (57:15):
You know those kind of places, and.

Speaker 6 (57:17):
You don't have to then add another position to that,
you know, to that draft, Well, yeah, me to.

Speaker 7 (57:24):
Get them for the right price.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
Sales. Biggest need is just is running back. That's it's
just that's it's it's nothing. I mean, they got they
got guys and everything every other position, including they got
to go with the cornerback situation. They can figure that out.
Uh real quick before I turn you loose. After this segment,
which is rather short because you didn't answer your phone.

Speaker 6 (57:43):
Uh well, I should just stay with my life.

Speaker 7 (57:46):
I don't know what I was thinking.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
It time to do it next time. The rams that
we just they just rebuilt their They go and say, hey,
you know what, let's just go get Kansas City's two
cornerback ones from Washington, one from Washington State. Well's bring
McDuffie and Watson in here. Like, first of all, how
weird is that? And second of all, I think I
think they got better. I don't like it. I don't

(58:10):
like it at all.

Speaker 7 (58:11):
Oh yeah, I mean I don't.

Speaker 6 (58:12):
I don't know what the odds say, but that was
their number one need, right was you can take advantage
of it. Now it's gonna be JSM versus McDuffie one
on one, and I can tell you through two Super
Bowls and you you guys know because he's from the
years to Washington and he's got better and better, and
he can lock guys down McDuffie when motivated, and they've
already extended him. So yeah, I'm not going to say
that the Rams jumped the Seahawks. But you know what
I did expect, and I'm sure you've talked about it.

(58:33):
I thought that, and this is normally what happens, because
the Niners and the Seahawks did this, it'd be tip
for tat, like, Okay, you got McDuffie, now we're gonna
do this. And I know that that's not normally what
John Schneider does, but I did. I thought they were
gonna make a big move, like I'll be honestly, I
thought they were gonna be on Max Crosby. Now two
number ones is rich, and you already did that for
Jamal Adams, so I'm sure they're afraid to do that again.
But I thought Seattle was going to be one of

(58:54):
the teams talked about with with Crosby, just because after
they did McDuffie, I thought, well, they've got a counter,
don't they.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
But again that yeah, I just they're they're with their
with their money. They just they don't go out and
do that like you know, the Rashishi heat thing is
is in some ways ended up being the most predictable
thing because they've done it three times now in season
trade give up some draft capital for a guy they
think can take him to the next level. In this case,

(59:21):
it took him over the top, and then they resign
him in the offseason. They did it with Leonard Williams,
and they did it with Ernest Jones, and they did
it now with Rashichi heat All in the last five
years they've done that. They've done it three different times.
That's kind of like there, that's almost their free agency,
Like their free agency is almost like we're going to
go out, we'll make a trade for guy in season. Yeah,

(59:42):
Naylor did them a the same thing there. Yeah, just
you kind of just do the You just do that
in season. That's kind of your m O. And I
get it.

Speaker 6 (59:49):
They give up what a four and five to get him, so,
I mean, you know you want to keep the guy
long term. Look, I like him a lot, But in
this draft, and I know you've already studied it and
talked to guys like Rob rang there's those type of
plays in this draft. Obviously with Branch and the kid
Atssissippi State Thompson super fast. I'm not saying they shouldn't
have done it, but I'm asking is and I'm sure
you've had this conversation. Are you better served to give

(01:00:09):
Ken Walker three and forty five or she?

Speaker 18 (01:00:12):
She he three and fifty one. I was I would
pick Walker all day. We talked about that. I would
take Walker all day.

Speaker 7 (01:00:17):
But but I'm a little confused by that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
But if you but but I think that's the thing
with the Walker thing, there's more to it. I think
the I think the issue was last fall, our our
guy or beat rider, Greg Bell with a news tribune
is our our our guy that's on with us all
the time.

Speaker 7 (01:00:31):
He fills in for you and is out. I mean
he is just off the charge.

Speaker 10 (01:00:35):
You're not.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Yeah, he's really good exactly what you're saying. That's one
hundred percent what you're saying.

Speaker 7 (01:00:43):
Very enjoyable is something when I talked to.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
Him, well, I learned something yesterday and he told us
he did. He did tell us that Walker wasn't real
happy with how he was utilized. And you know once.

Speaker 7 (01:00:56):
Shot near the goal line, you mean the goal line stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
And just sharing carries up until charity got hurt and
in by the way, a contract year, and I kind
of get the impression, you know, listening to what Greg
was saying in his conversation with Walker, they may just
have that that ship may have sailed back in August
in September, and he was just he was bound to
go somewhere else and that was what was going to happen.
And so they recoup it with Rashid she Head obviously

(01:01:18):
a different player. Yeah, there's there's guys like that. There's
always guys like that in the draft. We she think
there's guys like that. And then did they put well Chicago,
Ben Johnson just brought the back the kid, the fourth
receiver from Detroit, who's the little guy, I forget his name.
That's a return guy, and a receiver does more in
the return game. But he ain't Rahid Shiheed like we've
had Like we like like that. He's a different level

(01:01:40):
return guy, Like he gives you the And here's why
he's kind of the kryptonite for the for the Rams.
You know, the Rams. I think what was it they
had against Seattle seventeen touchbacks this year when Rashid Shied
was here against Seattle. Yeah, now, also, as Hugh mentioned yesterday,
a good point, they did score a lot. That's a
lot of kicks off kickoffs, but like they're start, you're

(01:02:01):
starting on the thirty five every time if teams don't
want to kick to him. You kind of like that,
and the forty Niners probably should have done that in
the playoff game last time checking.

Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
But I'm just yeah, we had people ask Kyle. Kyle
didn't like that question very much. He hates, hates, hates,
hates sefleteas he does even want to talk about him ever.
Just real quick though, you just mentioned Jaheat. I mean
that's an expensive number three receiver unless Cooper cups your
number three receiver, which is a really expensive player too.
I mean, this cup automatically make this team because the

(01:02:30):
one thing I would say now that the Rams upgraded
a corner js N's amazing, But your next two guys,
I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Don't you need to upgrade that to be Tory Horton.
Tory Horton, whos hurt most last year? He's your here's
your number two guy. Yeah, yeah, he's your guy. And
then and then Raschichi he's effectively or fourth is what
it would be. Yeah, right, yeah, if if if Horton's yeah,
but he's again he You're getting two players out of it. Yeah.
He just never looked comfortable the offense. But he got

(01:02:58):
here middle of the year's receiver, so I can see that.
I mean again, we saw flashes and what he does. Okay, listen,
I gotta go tell people about your h about what
you're doing on the weekends. When when can people call
in her ass? When can people call it harass you?
All right?

Speaker 10 (01:03:10):
All the time?

Speaker 6 (01:03:11):
When Saturdays and Saturday from four pm to eight pm.

Speaker 7 (01:03:14):
On West Run Sports.

Speaker 6 (01:03:15):
I'm also doing the morning show all week next week
too on Western Run Sports Serious XM Channel three seventy five.
That makes you tune in because, yeah, we get a bunch,
we get a bunch of people calling in. I'm huge,
Like I told you, I'm huge in Tacoma, h to
car place. But anyway there you go. Yeah, absolutely huge.
That's awful.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
By the way, it's an all it's an All American
City is to calm the two five three. I don't
if you know that. It's a big sign with the
drive down in All American City.

Speaker 18 (01:03:38):
I have the two five three When they call all
like from the two five three.

Speaker 4 (01:03:42):
That's night talking.

Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
That's a big thing down, that's a big thing here.
There's a big difference between the two five three in
Seattle and the two six I'm telling you right now,
little really little Yeah, a little more, a little tougher,
a little more grit to them down there in the Tacoma.

Speaker 7 (01:03:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah, they fit right with you now where they fit
right with you. That's the screams off like you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Those hours.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
All right, all right, I'm gonna hear some more talkbacks.
I'm out of here, see you later. We'll talk to
you next week. I gotta be on time. All right,
there you go. That's John Lynn. Okay, he's done. Thanks,
get him out here. All right, It's get a couple
of talkbacks, and we got more fire Away. We want
to hear. I don't care what line says. I want
to hear the voices of our listeners. Andrews fire Away.

Speaker 17 (01:04:17):
Ian justman an under Chris Beer. So what I don't
think is get enough attention is the only two guys
they re signed are John Schneider and Mike McDonald guys.
And if you think back to the linebackers, when it
was just a John Schneider decision, those linebackers did not
last very long. Neither did the offensive coordinator. Josh job

(01:04:39):
was added as an undrafted free agent in Mike McDonald's
first year, and then of course Rashid Shaheed at the
trade deadline.

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
I thought that was a very good point, right, keep going.

Speaker 19 (01:04:51):
Ask yourself this, at the end of the first half
of the Super Bowl, without can Iron taking control, where
does that game go? Okay, do we have any running
back that could do what Canine did for us his
patient running style in the Super Bowl itself, in the
exact same game that we had.

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Ask yourself. The answer is no. I don't have to
ask myself. I can just tell you the answer as
it stands. But again it's March tenth. But as it
stands on March tenth, the answer is resounding no.

Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
And there's really only like five guys that in the
whole league that you could say would give what.

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
He good point?

Speaker 14 (01:05:25):
All right, keep going, Hey, Ian Jordan Tacom mccollin. Hey,
I'm not concerned with Ken Walker leaving. I think they
knew that he was going to leave. What concerns me
is the injury to Charbonnay, because I really think that
they had maybe not intended on being the full part,

(01:05:46):
but he was a huge part of this whole plan
of the running attack that they had, and with him
going down, I think that really just totally screwed their
plans up.

Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
They like harmony, I think a lot better than a
lot of people like sharp right. Uh, cookie wise just
nailed it. Thin mints in the freezer top notch, thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:06:10):
There's another text in there. You have to read that over,
replied to which, oh, yeah, I got it. I'm so
confused with the obsession with mint flavored anything. Why do
people like toothpaste flavored cookies?

Speaker 4 (01:06:23):
So true?

Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
Though, there's a youth swallow your First of all, there's
a massive difference between yeah, toothpaste mint and thin mints, thin.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Mints and then mint chocolate chip ice cream like gross delicious.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Toothpaste mint is just is mint just to cover up
the taste of whatever chemicals is in the damn toothpaste.

Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
Yes, exactly, And it makes you feeling lovely and fresh
and everything.

Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
What is that?

Speaker 4 (01:06:46):
Junior mints and so many better flavors.

Speaker 10 (01:06:49):
They're really refreshing.

Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
Let's see, just say no blank them kids just kidding,
They're like crack. Yeah, exactly so true.

Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
If you really wanted to run a drug ring, run
it through the.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Brown Well, like I said, they cover fred Meyer entrances,
like like the damn Secret Service can't get in or
out without getting on me there right there, right there,
hanging out.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
We have one in and out at the Ace Hardware
at my store in my town, which is also a
grocery store.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
Uh wait, the in and out.

Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
I'm sorry, we have one entrance and it's like in and.

Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
Out people driving up there in and out evans.

Speaker 3 (01:07:26):
Yeah, there's only one entrance in.

Speaker 4 (01:07:30):
The world.

Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
Yeah, it's also an exit, and so they they you
can't do that. And you thought that you had an
out by having the exit in a different area redmire.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Yeah, amen, thin yuck, thank you, Thank.

Speaker 5 (01:07:46):
You, Nick, and the two six softy dies. First, if
grunts an incoherent yapping counts.

Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
Oh, that's a really good qualifier.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
Though those aren't words, but they are noises that come
from your face.

Speaker 20 (01:07:58):
He would definitely speaking of He'll join us next.

Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
Did you have some cookies out there? You had some
tagle and one.

Speaker 18 (01:08:17):
Of the two that were left. What time did you
send that email out?

Speaker 3 (01:08:20):
By the way, got the cookies eleven yeah, I'll.

Speaker 1 (01:08:25):
Tell you right now.

Speaker 18 (01:08:26):
So I I saw it. I was having lunch with
a client, my friend Natan from the Belvy Rare Coins
shout out in the ton.

Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
When did you send that email?

Speaker 3 (01:08:35):
I think it was around eleven am.

Speaker 18 (01:08:37):
Okay, So I get here, like one, there's two cookies left?

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
That was it. I had one. I had one, yes
when I got when I when I got here right
around noon, and you had like a full plate out there.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
Yeah taglongs four words save some for me next time.

Speaker 18 (01:08:53):
Hey, I got a box, stick a box, and you've
got ax. I've got a box and bring it in,
all right. And we talked about this earlier. I don't
know how you are. You're you kind of have a
heart of stone, so I don't know if you're like
this or not. I'm a bad guy, man.

Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
I can't walk by those little girls and not buy cookies.

Speaker 18 (01:09:08):
I can do it now because all I do when
I walk by a girl scout cookie stand is see
myself getting fatter. Yeah right, I just I have no control.
But see I don't eat them. I just buy and
get him away.

Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 18 (01:09:19):
Well I can't do that if I bought him, if
I bought four or five boxes of Girl Scott Cookies
and gave him away. I would end up giving away one.

Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Or two boxes, I gotcha, and I would keep doing
if you were just sitting there.

Speaker 18 (01:09:31):
A whole box easy without totally. Yeah, there's two things.
There's actually three or four things that I can just
shove in my face and never stop. Number one is
the lemon Cello almonds they sell at Costco. If you
tried those, by the way, lemon, my lemon almonds, God,
lemon cello. They have a lemon cello coating. Lemon cello.

(01:09:52):
You know what lemonchello is.

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
No, oh, it's like kind of a sweet lemon. I
just don't like lemon.

Speaker 18 (01:09:58):
Have you ever been to Italy? Have you ever been
to an Italian restaurant? You ever had a meatball sandwich?

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
One?

Speaker 5 (01:10:06):
Okay, honestly, I said lemon. I say I'm out. Lemon
shallow is amazing, so lemons your mint?

Speaker 18 (01:10:11):
Yes, and Costco sells okay, sell lemon shallow almonds, and
I could eat.

Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
The entire bag.

Speaker 18 (01:10:18):
The bag is as big as your ass, all right,
I'm telling you right now, And your ass is big, big, right,
your big boy scale. I could eat the entire freaking
you could eat a whole bag of those. Dude, there's
so sicker you afterwards. You know, the tobler room bars
by the way, shallows. Okay, once I get a tobl
rom bar in my mouth, I'm like a chipmunk, all right, exactly.

(01:10:41):
I can't just eat one triangle. You guys know what
I'm talking about. There's like what ten triangles. And I'm
not talking about like the big giant one that they
sell it like Disneyland eighty dollars. I'm talking about the regular,
the regulation.

Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
Size to just even after that, Oh dude, you should
check your blood sugar out, Josh.

Speaker 18 (01:11:02):
And the the dark chocolate sea salt. They have to
have sea salt, dark chocolate sea salt almonds that they
sell at the grocery store, the little plastic bin. I
could eat the entire thing. And then a box of
tagalongs from the girls.

Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
Scouts, so you get your Taglonge guy, you're the peanut
butter bread tag along. What about the mints anders his anti.

Speaker 18 (01:11:23):
Min I love them all, all right, right, I love
them all. I just I'm saying I have no control.
I may have lost some weight, but I am still
very capable of eating a just powering through the It
is unbelievd. I'm gonna bring the fin mince tomorrow. I'm
gonna leave me in the studio. They'll be gone by
seven o'clock. There, I'm gonna put them. I'm gonna put

(01:11:45):
him right here, right on the table here. I turned
into like a trash compactor from Star Wars.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
It's shut him down.

Speaker 10 (01:11:53):
Shut him down, my.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Experiment tomorrow. Leave them in here and then I'll see.
It's like when you like something outside to see if
there's a trap for like an animal, and see if it's.

Speaker 18 (01:12:08):
My problem with having a couple of extra cocktails is
when I have a couple of extra cocktails, that signal
that goes from your gut to the brain that says you're.

Speaker 4 (01:12:15):
Full doesn't exist, shuts off.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Okay pretty much.

Speaker 18 (01:12:20):
Yeah, And there's a couple of there's a couple of
things where I don't even need to have anything, no
foreign substances in my body, and that signal shuts off.
Thin mince and tagle lungs and short bread cookies right
there are three of them. Yes, absolutely, experiment crispy burritos.

Speaker 4 (01:12:38):
From Taco side those are you know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
I go back and forth on the beef and the
bean crispy.

Speaker 18 (01:12:43):
Well, you remember the old remember back in the day
growing up, Gonna spook a world record?

Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
Yeah, we used to buy was awesome.

Speaker 18 (01:12:49):
Yeah, the guy that had like thirty cigarettes in his mouth,
he set the world record for most smokes at one time.

Speaker 10 (01:12:57):
That was like books.

Speaker 18 (01:12:58):
Ever, I want to do that with Chris Burrita and
see how many Chris Perritos I can shove into my mouth.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
Let's go probably, let me see, let me see, I'm
gonna go five or.

Speaker 18 (01:13:07):
Seven because they squish a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
But just before you squish him, but put him in,
I say, no more than five.

Speaker 10 (01:13:16):
I think I can fit six in there.

Speaker 11 (01:13:17):
Man.

Speaker 18 (01:13:17):
Well you know what, and the bigger guy you are,
the bigger your mouth is you know?

Speaker 6 (01:13:21):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
You people say it? Or ten?

Speaker 10 (01:13:23):
You kidding?

Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
I've done ten at once. Yeah, might have been eleven.
You should call our friends at taco time.

Speaker 18 (01:13:27):
We're gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
Let's try that experiment.

Speaker 18 (01:13:29):
When the ms are twenty games out because coy Raly
hates Randy a Rose Arena and the clubhouse is falling apart,
then we'll.

Speaker 4 (01:13:39):
Do something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
So all right, soft He's coming up next up he's
gonna talk about the Mariners have lost control. Dan Wilson's
lost control of the clubhouse. It's all over before it starts.

Speaker 18 (01:13:48):
Seven was like the Seahawks, it's right, and seven was
as good as it gets. We see that movie, by
the way, as good as it gets with Jack Nicholson hunts, Yeah,
when he walks into the psychiatry office.

Speaker 4 (01:13:58):
What if this is as good as it gets?

Speaker 1 (01:14:01):
What if that's as good as it gets? Last year? Yeah,
it's certainly possible. Well, doing that for a second, like,
it's not. Actually it actually has been over fifty years. Yeah,
that was That was the Seilers.

Speaker 18 (01:14:11):
Didn't take it fifty years to get to eight outs away.
All right, let's just say it. We'll take fifty more. Well,
we're gonna die before that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:18):
The Manners Clubhouse has been torn apart, and the Seahawks
won't be able to run the football Softies next man
for the mild mannered and marginally objectionable in for Neus,
this is paddled Day saying so long everyone
