League favorite now. And the Yankees just have such injury
questions that you know, you never know if Judge is
gonna come back and be the same guy. He's like
everything to them. So if they're healthy, they're better than
the Mariners. And I'd put the Mariners at four. But
if they're never healthy, I think the Mariners have a

better roster, so i'd say three or four.

You look next to you and you see the young
guy Gray's abel I say, young guys, not like you're old,
you're twenty five, but you see right next year. What
kind of growth in the game have you seen from him?
Gray has a great i Q no coming in. He

He going against. And he plays guard, but he thinks
he has he understands the game. But he like he
plays in.

There because he played and he played a lot of
different positions, so that probably helps along the way. Do
you feel like that makes your game better as well?

guy that's a second year guy that you I always
think that, you know, I just I talked to my
kid about this, Like the guy next to you, that
right guard or that left guard. You need him to
be cohesive, but you also need to trust him, and
there's gotta be a trust factor. Do you feel that?

the same lens, understanding what he's gonna do without him
having to tell me sometimes and just back and forth
in that kind of aspect.

sense for you personally, You've got a contract, second contract

better IQ. It's like I've become more of a leader
of the team, just leading by example of the base
way I can whether it's individual team no matter what
it is, just trying to lead the base way I
can just take care of my body, learn more about

my body really just overall as a whole, just continue
to grow and fine growth with myself.

How how taking care of the body is always a challenge,
especially for guys playing the hardest position in the field
on the offensive line and the most grueling one, you

You guys are play one hundred percent of snaps and
then oh, by the way, you go all the way
and play through February? Was it a harder off season?
Easier off season? What was the off season like? Because
that your the turnarounds crazy and you guys are all
back here one hundred percent, felt like, you know for
OTA's and mini camps and all that stuff. How hard
was the off season?

What did you have to do? You have to prepare differently.

So this was the sort of offseason I've had since
I've been in the NFL. So really just creating a plan,
sticking to their plan, and based take care of my body,
make something get stronger, faster. Those kinds of things work
on my technique. So it was just it was just
short and miss it.

for a second. I'm a wazoolum. What was it like
playing for the late great pirate coach leads.

It's so many things I can say about co but
I think the best, the best way I could wrap
everything up is he was a one on one. He
was one on one. He was a character, but he
was also a great coach. Just just his iq of
the game, understanding how to manipulate and manipulate different defenses, coverages,

but everything was just he made everything so simple for us.

He was one of one did when you first when
he first rolls in and you see this guy and
he's got like he's got the little like the little
piece of paper calling plays and doing this. You know,
Luke Falk was one of his better quarterbacks. We had
Luke on the show all the time. We talked to
other guys that played for him at WAZO and they're
like like they couldn't figure it out. Like the guy
would sit there and he'd like he's just like a

mad scientist and stuff like that. Did you or find
yourself look at him? Going, how is this guy successful?
Like how like where does it come from?

I feel like I like, I like this assist comes,
come comes with the scheme that he runs and getting
the guy getting the right.

playing for him.

We miss him a lot. There's a great story that
was just talking to unfortunately the Tyler Lensky who's was
a Wazoo Guy quarterback who died by suicide. His brother
was in town and he was telling me the stories
of him and Fulk where like Tyler used to mess
with him all the time, like you could get him distracted,
Like Leach time was different time right, Like like if
you said, like Mike Leach being on time wasn't always

his thing, like he was here that so that's that's

How different is this guy and Mike mc He's a professional,

What's the what's the attitude in that building in terms
of defending champs. That's a whole different world that you're
living in right now. You're defending Super Bowl champions. We'll

that going on. Uh, it's funny because everyone's looking at
the team in your division is the favorite this year,
the Rams. So how different is the approach this year

in terms of how you guys go about your day
to day business and training camp.

I think we're still working. We continue to grow as
a team team to get better each and every day.
I think there's no complacency. We're always working to find
find ways to get better and improve our team. Does
it bother you that you hear that people talking about
the Rams a lot. I don't listen to the to
the noise. I like that I can do is focus
on folks, on what I can do in our team.
But you won't see him till later in the year.

What were your thoughts when you saw Miles Garrett sign there?
I mean it's good for him. I mean we still
got to play ball at the end of the day.
Good challenge. Absolutely, you guys in your position don't care.
Do they like that we don't care? We didn't care.

an off offensive linement, isn't it. I mean, we just
got to play the next play I love it and
