Jessica and Keith first started off as friends, but have been dating one another for about 14 months now. While they don’t live with one another, they do live about 20 minutes from one another so Jessica would spend the weekend at Keith’s all the time. However, Jessica has recently noticed that Keith will never pick her up whenever they go out and the last time she was in Keith’s car she noticed that the seat was pulled all the way up even though Keith doesn’t drive anyone else.

We call Keith pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants them sent to, Jake asks if he can send them to his coworker Anna. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Four of the roses.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I he turns you on your morning show, you think
the person you're with a stepping out. You think you
doing something I supposed to do. We try to figure
out exactly what is going on. Jessica, good morning, Good morning.
So walk us through this. You and Keith been together?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
How long?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
We've been together for about fourteen months?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
And in your email it says started out as friends,
but he wore you down.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
He could elaborate and you'd be so kind.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yeah, so we were friends for years, and you know,
sometimes good relationships, or what you hope to be good relationships,
come out of a friendship. And we ended up together
and it was going great. I mean, I've been really
really happy until recently there's just been a shift in
his behavior and I just feel like something's off.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, so let's get into this. So, you guys don't
live together, live about twenty twenty minutes apart, and so
what's going on.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
So whenever we used to go on dates or do anything,
I'd go to his place, he'd come to my place,
and then we'd go out or whatever that it would vary,
you know what I mean. And all of a sudden,
he only wants to meet me out, which I find
really strange, Like I haven't been to his place in
like months, and he hasn't come to mind either, and

(01:32):
I just feel like his behavior has just been different, and.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
It just feels question, then, have you guys been intimate
in the last couple of months.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Or no, we have, but it just ran feeling I
just feel like something's off.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
No, I got you, Okay, you guys aren't having like
real quality time because you're always just not spending Like
it doesn't sound like you're really doing a lot like
together to get together if you need to even come
over anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Like that's just so weird to me, Like it's like
he used to come over all the time.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
And then explain to me, so you.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Wrote with him this past weekend, and you think somebody
else has been in the car?

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Why is that?

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
So yeah, So he finally picked me up, which she
hasn't in like a while, and I got in the
car and I was like hit my head on the
on the ceiling, which like clearly somebody like shorter than
me had been in the car. I did feel I mean,
you know, obviously I assume it's not a guy. I mean,

(02:32):
I am a little bit tall, but it's just like
the behavior has shifted drastically and something.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
That's just let me ask you this. So you I'm
assuming you guys start off as friends. So do you
guys have the same friend group?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
We have some usual friends, not not I wouldn't say everybody,
but definitely some. I mean, no one said anything to me.
I mean I don't think they would though. I think
I think they'd still have his Why but.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Why does he say that he like doesn't want to
hang out each other's like places anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
He's kind of just been like, you know, oh, you know,
I'm busy. Oh I'm late from this, so I'm late
from this. Like it's just like I'm a late thing.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
And it's like, let's just set here and have dinner
and then you go, yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I mean the first couple of times fine, you know,
but it's the other day I was like, wow, it's
been like mine.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Sure. One last question real quick with the friend group.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Is there anybody in the friend group you consider a threat?

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Like female?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, no, okay, that's sair.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
No.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Let's let's do this, yessica. So we'll call Keith Sauce
lot from the flowers. Clearly she go to you girlfriend
of fourteen months. If they do, we'll put them on hold.
If they don't, we'll figure out what's going on. Okay,
wore the rosies on Internshion in your morning show, Jessica,
let me recap this. You and Keith started off as
friends but then kind of moved into more romantic feelings.

(04:03):
Been dating for the last fourteen months or so. Things
are going well. However, the last couple of months things
started to get a little bit fishy. Whereas before he
would pick up for dates and you guys will hang
out each other's houses, now it's more so you have
to meet him somewhere and you guys rarely hang out.
You had gotten into his car this past weekend, noticed

(04:24):
that you are a taller person in somebody clearly much
shorter than you was in the seat last because of
the way the seat was positioned.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
That's kind of where we're at, right.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
The other thing I wanted to add is you mentioned
off the air, but in the last month or so,
he was pretty insistent on you guys sharing location. Yeah,
any particular reason that he brought it up. This is
like safety or.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I don't know, No, not really.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Okay, and did you do you do you guys share location?

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Now?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Okay? Has he ever been somebody who wasn't supposed.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
To be I don't track it all the time, but no,
not really, just like at work, a little bit longer
maybe than the usual. But I mean that could be real.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I don't know, Okay, it's my only My only thought
was not putting negat thoughts out there is if he's
not going to pick you up, they live twenty minutes away,
he can track you. If he has somebody else over,
he can time it out to you'll be there. Rotate Yeah,
and that that saying, yeah, that's.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Okay, that's great. Yeah, well.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
It's not for sure. I just think it's odd.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I mean, it'd be different if you were going on
a trip somewhere, or he was going on a trip
or going hiking, and there'd be a reason like hey,
in case you can't find me.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
But it seems odd, or maybe he thought that that
was like taking it to the next level.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
That's fair too, that's fair.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
So let's do this, Jessica love sauce call from the
Roses clearly should go to you, girl friend of fourteen
months If they go to you, we'll put them on hold.
See what you want to do. We can hang up,
move on whatever. If they don't go to you, though,
we'll get some answers for you. Okay, okay, one second.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
He loop, Hi, I'm calling for Keith.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Yeah, this is Hee.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Hi Keith. My name is Olivia.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
I'm just calling you from YMSS Flowers or a new
flower shop downtown. And you actually won our weekly contest,
so you get a free dozen red roses. You can
send them wherever you want, so let me just get
you know, some info from you, if that's cool.

Speaker 7 (06:50):
I really don't have time for this, just doesn't feel
I know you're doing your job and I don't want
to be rude to you.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
I mean, you entered our contest, so that's why we're
calling to you.

Speaker 8 (06:59):
One.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
I don't remember entering any contest though, that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
I mean, we have like QR codes all over, so
maybe when you're out or at the coffee shop.

Speaker 8 (07:07):
Near us.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Okay, yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Mean they're free flowers, so I would take them. We're
just trying to get our product out there in the community.
But if you don't want them, I'll pick another name.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
What'd you say your name was again, I'm Olivia, okay, Olivia.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Shoot yeah, and even like if it's local, we can
get it out today. You could surprise someone. No, we're
just trying to get our products actually out there so
that you come back to us.

Speaker 8 (07:38):
You know, Valentine's Day is coming up and all that
good stuff. All right, all right, cool? So who do
you want to send them to?

Speaker 5 (07:48):
I can't just pick them up or anything.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
I mean, we try to just surprise people with them,
but if you really wanted to, but we still would
like need to name who they're for and everything. We're
just trying to make a profile for you in case
you do you end up coming back.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
You know, gotcha?

Speaker 5 (08:07):
And you said you can send them out today.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Yeah, yeah, if it's local, but if if it's like
across the country, then I could send them last day,
but they're not gonna be delivered today.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
Yeah it's local, I take Why don't you make it
out to? Uh Anna?

Speaker 8 (08:22):
Olright? So a and n A.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Yes, And then again I'm making a profile. So what
is she to you? Just so that we know in
case you come back for Valentine's Day? Is she you know,
your girlfriend friend, wife's sister.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
I'm not really sure yet. I mean, we work together.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Coworker, I put other I was friends co friendly coworker,
friendly coworker. These are red roses, though I would say
that they're a romantic Okay, all right, just just so
you know, just I feel like if my coworker gave
me red roses, I'd be kind of creeped out. But
do you uh, what do you want the card to say?
Is like your typical flower car Well, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (09:01):
If this is typical, but it's more for kind of
an inside joke. But just have it say I'm keeping
the panties.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
You're you're keeping the panties? What does mean?

Speaker 6 (09:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 5 (09:13):
Jessica?

Speaker 3 (09:14):

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Correct?

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Yeah, real quick. I dumped some of it out there. Keith,
my name's interned John. I got sauce and rose here
as well. We're doing a war of the roses on
the show. I have to let you know that that
is your girlfriend, Jessica.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Does it make a difference. You should have been sending
them to me anyway. What are you doing now?

Speaker 8 (09:34):

Speaker 7 (09:37):
No, Jessica, Jessica, And it's just a girl that I
work with Okay, well we established that card though you're
keeping her panties. Okay, keeping the panties is just it's
a phrase that we use around.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Hr hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, Keith,
explain what it means.

Speaker 7 (10:00):

it's my sale if I did most of the work
on it.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
And so what did you say?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Why would you be saying why would you send her
flowers to let you know that you're keeping her sale?

Speaker 7 (10:18):
I I just wanted to do something nice for a cowork.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
