Zespri has a lot to celebrate.
The kiwifruit company has reported a 12 per cent increase in annual profit - returning almost $2 billion to the industry.
Zespri was regarded as an essential service and was able to keep business going during the lockdown.
CEO Dan Mathieson told Heather Du Plessis Allan the results are pleasing.
"We're really happy, and in fact we're feel very fortunate to be releasing these results in current environment.
"It's been another successful season for the kiwifruit industry."
