The Warriors were beaten 18-16 by the Wests Tigers in their NRL preseason matchup in Christchurch.

The Kiwi side played for over an hour with only 12 men after interchange forward Zyon Maiu'u was sent off for shoulder-to-head contact on Tigers centre Declan Casey.
