Black Caps great Chris Cairns says he would love for two New Zealand franchises to enter Australia's Big Bash League 

The 54-year-old believes the move would raise the quality of the T20 tournament and generate more rivalry and interest.

Cairns highlights the success of other sporting codes involved in trans-Tasman competition...and feels cricket is lagging behind.
