The Black Caps will finish their home summer without the services of top-order batsman Mark Chapman.

Chapman has been ruled out of tomorrow's final ODI against Pakistan at Bay Oval with a hamstring injury.

He was also forced out of game two in Hamilton.
 
Tim Seifert, who was called in to replace Chapman ahead of the second game, will stay with the squad.
